20 Best Low Profile Center Channel Speaker (2023 Updated)

Great sound. Beautiful cabinet and design. Let it be noted, the speaker is larger than it appears to be. It’s a good sized speaker. Additionally, the speaker depth is also larger than expected. But it sounds great.

Very clear vocal mid-range, clear highs, and very realistic. I have it paired with Polk S55 Signature towers for fronts and Pioneer Andrew Jones bookshelf rears, with a 12” powered sub. This speaker holds its own with the S55 towers, and can handle a lot of power from my H/K receiver.

Overall, the center channel is rich and vibrant, not too loud, and very balanced. They speaker is very clear and pretty natural. It is not sharp, harsh or tinny. It is probably a bit on the smoother natural sound than, a bright vibrant sound, but it creates beautiful sound stage and is very accurate and warm to listen to… At this point, I have no complaints.

If being nit picky, it is a big speaker and heavy, but a minor concession for clear accurate sound.

I recently purchased the S35 to bridge the gap between my Monitor 10B floorstanders and my 4 MC80 in ceiling overhead speakers. (All Polk). My Polk TL-1 center was fine for dialogue, but had no midbass whatsoever due to it’s tiny drivers.

Enter the S35: With it’s 6 3” drivers it gave me the upper midbass I was lacking, probably somewhere around the 300-400 hz range. In addition to that, the 1” tweeter is so smooth and silky it toned down the mild harshness I had from the TL-1’s 3/4” tweeter.

Have it crossed over at 80 hz and it sounds great with music and movies, as well as television programs. I could not be more pleased! I have been a Polk customer since 1987 when I purchased my beloved Monitor 10B’s and they are still my main speakers and sound absolutely awesome to this day! Do yourself a favor and try the S35 center speaker if you have limited space like I did.

The Polk Audio S35 works great with my TV setup. I have a pair of Polk Audio SDA-2’s from the 1980’s, lightly used over the years and still work great. I bought the Polk Audio S10’s for the surround sound speakers.

The S35 brings additional brightness and a real center channel that was missing. I like the low profile of the speaker, and it almost fits under my Panasonic plasma TV. It appears to be very well made, as is the Polk tradition.

Music also sounds wonderful, again bringing some brightness that was missing without the S35. I’m very pleased with my purchase and glad to see that the traditional Polk Audio quality still remains.

With my previous center channel I was constantly having to turn the volume up to hear low dialogue and then quickly turn it back down during loud action sequences, even with the center ch level on my AV way up.

It was exhausting. On the advice of a home theater group I upgraded to this center channel and that problem completely went away. I was able to put my center level back in calibration and can still hear all the dialogue without having to adjust the volume.

Could not be happier. On top of making dialogue intelligible, it sounds better, too. Very happy with this purchase.

With superb full-bodied and dynamic sound, and its use of triple crossover speaker assignment the Klipsch RP 450C is, by far, the leader in center channel sound reproduction I have heard. By assigning two speakers to handle the 58 to 500Hz range, two other speakers to handle the 500 to 1500 Hz range and the tweeter to handle everything else above 1500 Hz, Klipsch has overcome the “voice squashing” dilemma plaguing so many other 2-way center channel offerings.

Male and female voices are clear and natural, not muffled, throughout. This center channel truly rocks ang ignores nothing. Indeed, there is a scene in “Alita, Battle Angel” where Alita taps her robotic finger to the surface of a mirror, and the gentle tap is actually picked by the tweeter.

Beautiful! It’s big, it’s weighty, it’s solid and it’s everything else one seeks out in a center channel. I highly recommend it.

My Pioneer powered system primarily used Polk Audio speakers. I upgraded to a Klipsch wireless sub and added Klipsch Atmos. I decided to replace my Polk Center with this Klipsch. Im not an audiophile, I have old ears, but my daughter and I immediately noticed clearer, sharper dialogue with this speaker.

Sure the one it replaced was over 10 years old, but I think this would have outperformed it even if that one was new. It may not be worth the money to everyone to upgrade, but for my 9. 2 system, the sound (and the look with the copper speakers) were well worth the expense.

Lets put it this was – I was using closed captions just to make out dialogue, now I dont have to!.

I was worried this center would sound small and tinny and thin but boy was I shocked in our room. I’m sure as usual bigger is better but I do not think you will be disappointed at all with this speaker.

You can also adjust or aim the speaker with a screw on the back up and down. I bought the Sony bookshelf speakers and was going to buy Sony center so all would match but was out of stock and with recommendation of BB manager I-tested this speaker.

Do not worry about the “ timbre matching” there is validity to some of that but in my opinion unless you are spending a ton more money and are a total audiophile it’s not a deal breaker. Oh and by the way this center channel is with a Sony 1080 receiver the voices are cleaner than my Atmos enabled 1000+ dollar sound bar.

I wish at the time I could have bought L and R channel Definitive Speakers just to compare to the highly rated Sony’s (which are good I will add) because the Definitive Center is really that good in our situation.

Disappointing voice sound clarity. Beautiful and seems to be well-made. I thought being sealed it would offer better accuracy. I compared this side by side at home against a less expensive Sony a much more expensive Martin Logan – both ported.

Both of the other speakers offered much better clarity in conversation, which is the primary purpose of the center channel in home theater. I wound up returning the speaker. I calibrated the system for each center channel before testing and set the volume at the same level.

It seems that others have a different experience, but this one just didn’t work for me.

My home theater center channel speaker was 25 years old. While some components in the home theater have been upgraded, the center channel speaker was an original. The amp/receiver has been upgraded multiple times, most recently six months ago.

I realized that I was having trouble understanding dialog in movies especially (most of which is directed to the center channel). I made various adjustments to the receiver to boost the center channel level in comparison to the other speakers and adjusted the equalization, but nothing really helped.

I found I was watching movies with the remote control in hand to crank up the volume in order to understand the dialog, and then cranking it down because the effects were too loud. The ProCenter 1000 has solved my problem.

I can now watch a movie without holding the remote control and constantly adjusting the volume in order to understand dialog. Voices are clean, crisp and intelligible. I cannot over emphasize what a huge improvement this is.

Speaker technology has obviously improved since my original speaker was manufactured. This modest upgrade was well worth the price. It is small enough to fit just about anywhere.

My previous surround sound system was a 6. 1 using KEF HTS 2001 speakers I was upgrading to a 7. 1. 2 system and needed a new centre speaker to complement my existing KEF HTS 2001 speakers so I purchased the KEF T301C for this job.

Sonically the speaker has integrated perfectly with my existing speakers and I find the slim size particularly handy as it makes its placement much easier with my existing furniture. So I am very happy with my choice and its performance and can recommend this product as an excellent buy.

I decided on this centre speaker as I’ve got certain mounting constraints. I was a bit worried about the slim and light nature of the speaker. As a centre speaker, it’s excellent. Vocals are clear and the clarity spans the whole of my sofa width.

Overall, very happy.

Ok let me start by saying I went about buying this all wrong. I didn’t listen to this prior to purchase which goes against everything I would normally do. This was purchased after some internet research and on it’s dimensions.

It’s dimensions being the deciding factor (so wrong I know). I should just say that I was getting some pressure from the wife to “get rid of that monstrosity” by that she was referring to the centre speaker that the KEF replaced.

It was a full size one and didn’t fit with the new unit we had for the T. V. hence the KEF making it’s appearance. So was it worth it? Yes. I cannot believe the clarity of sound. Speech is so crisp without being hollow.

You would not know this is only a little over an inch deep. I don’t know what it sounds like with music as I haven’t tried it yet. Am I pleased? You bet I am. This is not the cheapest but from my experience if you are looking for a slim unit that is much less unobtrusive and can still deliver on sound this is it.

I purchased this because, a) I am getting older and b) and, for some reason, TV and movie sound mixers have decided that dialog all need to be all whispers, so the background soundtrack in the surround sound can drown out the vocals of the actors.

Therefore, since most of the vocals come from the center channel, I need one that projects a better presence. And I think we have a hit. This ported center channel has more speakers to project more found at lower amplifier volumes.

It can also do more of the heavy lifting, especially, against larger front and side channels. Dialog is presented with more depth, like that coming from modern sound bars, which typically do center great, but not as well on the surround.

You will need to return your system setup, after the install, which is plug-and-play.

This is the best sounding center I have heard. This in combination with XT15 bookshelfs in a 5. 1 and a little equalization often makes me pause whatever I am watching to make sure what I am hearing is being played over my speakers.

These are by far the best sounding speakers for the money on the market.

This speaker has good highs and midrange. Dialogue is very clear. Efficiency is good. Lows could be better. Male voices with a lot of lows sound somewhat hollow compared to my large floor standing main speakers.

It is better than other center channel speakers of comparable size, but I returned it and got a larger Klipsch RP-504C with better lows. It probably would match up better with smaller bookshelf main speakers.

As a Klipsch owner for most of my life, I love their characteristic sound and nothing else in the price range can really compare. I have a decent set of the Andrew Jones designed Pioneer F52’s and the matching center channel.

On a super cheap budget those are hard to beat. But when the time comes to take your sound to the next level, this ‘entry level’ Reference line from Klipsch are worlds apart. It’s not that the Pioneer are bad, it’s that the Klipsch are that much better.

Great for home theater, crisp clear dialog, everything you expect from a good center channel. It’s even relatively musical. It is a sealed box enclosure which tightens up the bass response at the expense of hitting ultimate low end.

Plan on running a larger set of main speakers or a sub in order to get any meaningful bass from your system. This speaker is not designed to produce bass, and it doesn’t. Regardless, they look great, sound better, and it’s just a very hard line of speakers to ignore.

Give it a listen – you won’t be sorry!.

Firstly, I am a far way from being audiophile by any means, but I certainly can appreciate decent sound when I hear it. I should also caveat that this is my first time going with a true surround sound setup (upgrading from an old sound bar), but my goodness.

having a dedicated center speaker has made an incredibly huge difference on the audio experience. The voice is crystal clear and isn’t competing with the rest of the sound coming from the same speaker.

Overall, incredibly impressed!.

I have always had 2-channel stereos, and wanted to move to surround sound. I purchased the Select 5. 25-Inch 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers for the back surrounds, and this speaker for a center channel. The center channel carries much of the dialog in movies; the surround channels often provide ambience and a “3-dimensional” feeling.

I found the Select surround speakers to be perfectly ok, but this center channel sounded quite thin (to my ears, anyway). This speaker may be a real bargain for a very low-priced speaker, but don’t expect miracles for $30.

I recently replaced my HDTV with a new LED LCD. I was using the TV speakers for my center channel as the old TV supported connecting them to an external source, my receiver in this case. The new TV didn’t have the feature so I need to add a new center speaker to my mix.

Going from the TV speakers to this speaker was a significant improvement but that shouldn’t have been surprising. I don’t think this speaker competes with high-priced speaker systems, but for the price, you can’t beat it.

It produces plenty of high-quality volume in my little living room. I’m very happy!.

I purchased this center to match the Sony Core Bookshelf speakers. which I find those speakers to be pretty darn good at a ridiculous low price when on sale, but I am here to give my opinion on the center channel.

First off it’s a 2 way design. basic 2 different drivers, woofer n tweeter. From my experience 3 way speakers seem to sound best as center channels. That rule seems to apply with this Sony Center as well.

Initially I liked the speaker, especially the price point. As I continued to use it daily I was having a hard time hearing male voices, especially if the actor had a deep voice. I just couldn’t make out what they were saying all the time.

I had the speaker hooked up to the newer Denon AVR-S660H with the Center channel Voice enhancement on the highest level. I also set the speaker up thru the Audessey, which is supposed to make everything sound great in the room it’s set up in.

I even tried to play around with the controls manually and still couldn’t find the sound I’m looking for. I ended up returning the speaker. To me the center channel is probably the most important speaker,it is the one that must be as close to perfect when watching movies or TV.

For the price this is a very capable speaker, many people love it, just read the reviews. I just needed something better. If your main purpose is watching TV and movies, build your system around your center channel.

Find the center that has the sound you like and then get your surrounding speakers off that choice. Good luck.

I purchased this center channel to match the Sony tower speakers I purchased at the same time. I know there are other brands that are slightly more expensive, but I decided to give this one a try (also thanks to BB killer return policy).

As you know the center channel is a highly important piece of any sound experience. This center channel (mated to my Sony STRDH790 receiver), is a win-win situation! I am extremely impressed with the clarity! I don’t know how Sony does it for the price point but thank goodness they do! Again for a few dollars more I could have opted for a more expensive option (outside the Sony brand), but I really don’t feel I have to! Sound is subjective to the listener of course, but I am very pleased! Thank you, Sony!.

Just a quick little review… I had purchased this Sony center channel once before a few years ago for my a/v home theater system. I just loved the volume and sound it gave. When I updated to a new a/v home theater, I wanted new speakers to go with it (and moved the old system to my bedroom).

It was a choice between the Sony and Polk. The Polk and Sony speakers were on sale, same prices. Listening to the demos in the store, to me, the Sony speakers sounded better. They got louder and had more bass to them.

They are also 2 way speakers. The Polk speakers aren’t 2 way and they didn’t seem to be as loud. Since I was already familiar with this Sony center channel, it was an easy choice. Wish I’d bought another whole set while it was on sale.

I bought Ultra Bookshelves and a Prime Center a year ago. My thinking was that I wanted no-compromise stereo speakers for music, but I only needed a “good” center channel. And the Prime Center is a good speaker, no doubt.

The thing is, I could hear it. The Ultra Bookshelves are so incredible that I could pick out the Prime Center. I know SVS says that the Prime and Ultra series can interchange (and my Prime sats are doing great at their job), but.

I could hear when the center handled something that the bookshelves didn’t in music, and the vocal track was comparatively boxy in movies & TV. After a year with the Prime, I remembered that SVS lets you trade up within a year of purchase.

So, I did just that (and it was super easy, by the way, as long as you keep the original packaging), and let me tell you folks, the Ultra Center was well worth the extra spend! The number one question I (and likely many others) had was how much difference is there between the Prime and Ultra.

Put another way: at twice the price, are the Ultras twice as good as the Primes? My answer is no, they’re not twice as good. But they’re at least half again better, and that’s significant because the Prime is no slouch by any means.

And when the Ultras are put together–bookshelves and center–they get a good dose of synergy which was unexpected and noticeable. I’ll put it this way: I’m happier than I expected to be with my upgraded purchase, and I wouldn’t go back if I could (and, really, I suppose I could).

The Ultra Center completely disappears up front for a fluid stage. And because I’m adding two more 6. 5″ woofers into the mix, it’s like I’ve doubled the number of bookshelves. The sound feels effortless and buttery, and I have noticeably better pressure in the room.

And call me crazy, but I’m getting a better surround field from the rears now. I haven’t run a new room calibration or anything (yet). It is MUCH more immersive all the way around, just from swapping out the center.

So, if you’re on the fence between the Prime and Ultra, and the price isn’t a deal-breaker, the Ultras are noticeably better. And if you’re thinking about mixing the front stage with Primes and Ultras, my take is that they sounded good (even really good) mixed, but it sounds phenomenal and almost eerily seamless when they match.

I Had an older Definitive technology CLR 2500 center channel speaker which I bought used back in 2008/2009 which I think is a LARGE center. I started to get some resonating vibration out of it a while back and finally decided to change it out for a SVS Ultra center channel.

I wanted a larger center channel and not a small dainty little thing as I do enjoy turning up the volume ! The good looks of the Ultra center is what attracted me first and also the price is not bad for a center of this size and quality.

I was worried that the new Ultra would not have the bass that the CLR 2500 had because it had a built in powered sub woofer! Yes the Ultra did not have some of the bass, but I did not expect it to have the same amount.

What I did find though is that it was very clear and detailed and of course NO vibration/resonance etc. Which was VERY important to me. Next I will change out my Definitive tech BP6 mini towers to the Ultra Bookshelf’s with 24” stands and add a SB4000 sub woofer.

I love the clean lines and black gloss of the ULTRA series speakers! The center sounds great and cant wait to finish my upgrade ! Curtis.

I replaced a Control 4 Triad center with the SVS. Triad was dull and a bit puny i thought so I began looking for a new center. Looked at Martin Logan, Klipsch, KEF, and a few others. Price wise the SVS stood out compared to the others especially when comparing specs.

I was not able to audition all that I looked at, obviously including the SVS, but since I have 2 SVS Ultra16 subs that I’m thrilled with I thought the center would probably be fine. Fine is sort of understatement.

It made a huge improvement for movies and dialogue was practically busting out from it. My mains are Martin Logan ESL 12, and they match quite nicely. The Logans are clear and semi-bright, and the SVS blended in nicely.

No room correction done yet. Totally happy. The only drawback is it is considerably larger than the Triad it replaced and weighs in at 31lbs, but based on the sound I cant complain. I hope my fireplace mantel will hold up knowing how it was probably installed.

Absolutely love it!! The Klipsch RP504C is a fantastic center speaker, powerful and sounds amazing!! You will never not be able to hear dialog from a movie again, clean and clear as it should be! Questioning buying an open box product? Don’t be.

This was in mint condition! Will not be the last time I buy from this company, got my eyes on some Klipsch RP-8000F towers now! My system is sounding better than ever!! (and yes, since purchasing this, have just got my RP-8000F speakers which I also got through Safe And Sound!!).

I bought this speaker for my home theater when I upgraded from 2. 1 to 5. 1 setup. at first I was hesitant with the price tag that comes with it however it is by far the best investment I have made in my setup.

there have been times where I am watching a movie and a doorbell would ring and door open and I was legitimately concerned that someone just let themselves into my home. This speaker adds a whole other dimension to watching movies and gaming.

voices are always clear and crisp no matter what the scene is.

This is not a compact speaker. It is actually one of the larger center speakers I have owned. I purchased DT 9040 floorstanding loudspeakers and thought the 1000 center speaker was a little to small for the overall system.

I own the 1000 and 2000 center channels and BOTH are amazing. For my taste I like the 2000 just a little more. The sound is amazing. you could have one of these as a stand alone, well almost. But I guess in a small room you really could.

DT is amazing and I can only recommend their products. Amazing quality.

I have this center coupled with Pro Monitor 1000 mains and 800 surrounds, and a super cube sub. Dialogue is clear and authoritative, and blends seamlessly with the 1000’s. Deep voices and sounds come through with a real “presence,” and it’s easy to get lost in the film.

As with other Definitives, sounds project more like they are coming from the real thing, be it the dark lord of some mythical movie, or the higher pitched etherial notes of Jackie Avenko. I also love the looks of this speaker line, and this pro center 2000 has a real solid feel that denotes quality.

Highly recommend.

This speaker is great. The clarity in listening thru it is great. All voices are clear and we can understand them. The quality of sound in the bass and the appearance of it enhances our theatre system look.

When on sale this speaker represents a great value in a small to medium room. I use the 520C flanked by the 570’s in a 3. 1 bedroom setup that is ~14×12 (mlp ~6ft). In this room the speaker is more than enough.

Dialogue is clear and sound dispersion is wide. In our ~3400ft^3 basement this does not cut it. The sound is shallow and small. We use much large center channel. Given the price (~89. 99) and my use, I am pleased and would purchase again.

Upgraded to these from a 3. 1 sony soundbar. As I was doing my research on home theater speakers it was easy to get overwhelmed with the options as well as the prices. I’ve owned a few Klipsch products in the past and liked the quality and decided on these for my home theater.

The bundle deal on these closeout speakers cannot be matched if you look at other retail stores. Perfect for me who wants to get started in home theater without breaking the bank. Paired the speakers with a Denon S750H.

Glad I decided to go with these instead of upgrading to a dolby atmos soundbar.

This was installed in my master bedroom as a part of a simple, but decent 5. 1 Surround Sound setup. My wife and I enjoy watching scary movies in bed and usually don’t have the volume up that high because we have small children that go to bed right down the hall from us.

The Subwoofer sounded ok-good when first installed, but I always felt that is was “loose”. Recently I noticed a ticking noise coming from it and thought that there was something rattling nearby. I determined it was in fact the sub had blown.

I was fortunate to have a spare def tech sub to replace it with and wish I would’ve never bought the Polk to begin with. My def tech sub was a little more expensive, but the sound doesn’t even compare.

I would steer clear of this Polk subwoofer.

I used this as a center channel for my entertainment system (5. 2). I wanted the speaker centered with my wall mounted television, but with the stud layout within the walls. it wasn’t an option for me.

I used the ceiling mount option and centered over the television. It’s mounted approximately 6″ away from the ceiling joist (in the attic). There is a template with the speaker kit and it works perfectly.

After cutting the hole in the ceiling, I installed the wiring and placed thermoplastic reinforced insulation over the back of the speaker. The finish trim looks great; white, powder coated metal screen.

The screen is held securely in place with magnets. I love the sound so much, I’m considering replacing my satellite speakers with this model. Good value, nice speaker!.

I purchased the Front and this Center for my Theater/Studio. Honestly my first in-wall speaker purchase. It was simple and easy to install and sounded great right off. Sometimes it’s hard to tell where the sound is coming from as the speakers are really transparent in a good way.

I would have to say these are my first Polk speakers and I am sold on purchasing more Polk Audio in the future.

I wanted to replace an older surround system starting in the front and after replacing the electronics a friend suggested auditioning the Elac’s. I found a center channel at one store and liked the sound.

I then found similar Elac bookshelf speakers at another. These Elac Un-Fi 2. 0’s that I purchased sound much better than my older Infinity’s. Wider range. Broader soundstage. With enough high end for my aging ears.

I believe I did very well for the space available and I still have enough money left for the Dolby Atmos that will be next.

Clean detailed dialogue. This center speaker is great if you sit off axis, the tonality doesn’t change as you move around the room. Most mtm speakers will loose intelligibility off axis due to colmb filtering.

I’m sure there are better speakers out there in terms of build quality and even sound quality. But, if you’re looking for an affordable option w/ good imaging I would look at the UB5’s. I’m very happy w/ these speakers but they are definitely for the value consumer.

Better than the B5’s, IMO but you’re paying for upgrade and it’s really up you if value the cost. I did.

5 month into the astounding aural improvement that this EXCELLENT center speaker has brought to my already fine home theater set up. I waited to see if there were any negatives, & there are none. The center speaker it replaced was very nice, but dated (Advent).

This one elevates the experience to the point where it is hard to imagine it getter better. Also makes for a fine solely audio experience. Visitors have been surprised, as they thought the previous experience outstanding.

Other reviews correctly point out that the dialog in a movie is crystal clear and more understandable even when multiple conversations are going on. SPECIAL NOTE: measure the area you plan to put this to make certain it will fit.

This beast is also heavy! I’d be careful that any stand being used can take the weight. Well worth the $$$$! We are not talking loud, we are talking quality sound. The bass almost replaces a sub-woofer, in my case it augments the sub.

I’ve been waiting for this to go on sale. This completes my 7. 1 Klipsch surround sound. I have 6 R41 satellites I use plus The Quad 4 center. My sub is a 15 inch 400w Polk Audio. My tuner is an Onkyo TX-NR646.

The sound is Amazing!! My kids say it’s better than going to the movies. My 5yr old looks up at the rear surrounds in amazement!! This is the Best Surround sound I’ve owned. Don’t wait,upgrade to this if you can.

The center speaker is so clear. I had to turn down the sound in it from my tuner. The highs are crisp and the lows along with my sub are Earth Shaking. The voices are so clear now. We even turn the main volume to a lower level.

You won’t regret this purchase. Definite Recommend.

Paired up with my KEF Q350 and SVS SB2000 Pro. My setup was pretty descent without the center channel but the addition of PR 404C really brings it to a new level. Movie dialogues are much for clear and with Yamaha TS-700’s surround sound even Spotify sounds tracks are much better!.

I purchased these to be use on either side of a computer monitor to provide a cosmetically nice look and decent sound. They are replacing boc loudspeakers (Boston Acoustic A40 ca 1980) They can stand on their end without tipping or be mounted vertically on the wall beside the monitor with the included bracket.

They don’t do deep base – but I have a sub for that. Sound-wise – I was mainly interested in their near-field cohesiveness. And for this the worked well. They have a fully extended high frequency response and play fairly well – though I estimate they are only 84dB/Watt sensitive.

The high quality binding posts are wider than standards – so you will need to use single banana jacks for you speaker leads – or bare wire. The included speaker wire is a joke – 22 gauge I think. Use something better.

Note they also include an adhesive rubber pad to go between the mounting bracket and the loudspeaker – a nice touch. I swapped them for my main speakers in my home theater system to see what they could do.

I cranked my sub crossover up to 100Hz and everything filled in nicely. I could see these a L+R+C + REARS in a Home theater system. Overall an outstanding value – just add a sub (or two) and enjoy!.

This center channel speaker pairs beautifully to all of the Dayton Audio’s line of speakers. If you want a great multi channel sound system for a budget price then this speaker will deliver. 1 or 7. 1 sound system and will do it beautifully without costing a fortune.

I replaced four existing Dayton Satellite speakers in a 7. 1 Home Theater config with two Dayton Audio CCS-33B in a 5. 1 surround config. I get much better sound imaging and more volume. Now live TV, DVD, and Streamed movies are more realistic with exotic sounds surrounding the listener.

I bought this for the usual reasons- inbuilt TV speakers were inadequate, and dialogue through the AVR lacked clarity. hooked this up and massively improved the audio for both music and movies. This centre speaker pushes out smooth and full bass easily, while also nailing the frequencies important for vocals/dialogue.

and adds a subtle sparkle to things too. (BTW, CHT’s shipping was exemplary- interstate and fast!).

I m using a complete set of speaker package NS-777, NS-333, NS-C444 and NS-SW300 with Aventage 1030. Believe me these speakers will rock with bass even if you dont have subwoofer. i was not hesitating to buy these speakers as because of its review but believe me all reviews are hoax about the speakers.

But it was my Luck to have these. These package have detailed sound. I took the bass at -6 but i still found the bass from front speakers. Then i set the tower speaker at -10 and found that the bass was coming from the center.

i really shocked that what a center is it that produce bass like the front speakers are doing that. I really love these package and previously i was using NS-P150, NS-F150 and NS-SW300. I now realized that Yamaha is the best brand that i have chosen.

My next purchased would be SOAVO. Don’t judge these speakers on reviews. and the Center is really big center not the small one.

I’m a Yamaha fan so I may be biased. It looks and feels very good quality as all Yamaha products do. The sound is clear and balanced. Using my Yamaha mic optimiser the speaker has been set up and sounds great.

A very nice addition to the rest of my system.
