20 Best Jeans For Big Thighs Men (2023 Updated)

Wore Lee jeans as far back as my childhood, decades ago. Prefer Lee and Wrangler over the other national brands at my stage in life. Levi’s are for the fashion conscious buyers who prefer the new trends in denim clothing vs the buyer who wants a good, sturdy jean that can be worn casually or for work.

Can recall iron-on patches for the knees of jeans to make them presentable and not look like a pauper. It was embarrassing to wear jeans, a. k. a. dungarees, with holes in the knees. Today the style is to cut the legs of the jeans, particularly at the knee, opening a wide gap all in the name of style.

Oh, how our culture has changed.

Can’t beat the price , nor the quality. Wash the black ones in a separate wash by itself, or you will have dark grey socks and underpants

I lost some weight over the past couple years, and got tired of my jeans always slipping down. I suffer from the noassatall condition. LOL! These Extreme Motion jeans are stretchable. I like the stretch in the waist.

as I still have just a little bit of “gut” that I can’t seem to get rid of, but I have to buy pants that actually fit my hips or they won’t stay up with a tight belt. These EM jeans are quite comfortable.

Two minor problems. being stretchable, they will slide down a little at times, and also, I’m not a fan of the back pocket being made of the stretchable material. When I put my wallet in, it doesn’t seem nearly as secure as in a standard pair of jeans made of normal denim.

But, aside from that, I really like these jeans. I’ve bought several pair. They don’t cut into your waist like normal denim.

I would not buy again. Biggest issue for me is shallow pockets, especially front pockets but also rear. (Coin pocket is OK, just flimsy material. ) Second biggest issue is poor quality belt loops. There’s only 5 — should be at least 6 — and the loops are thin and narrow.

Pants run a little large in the waist. Too bad, because they’re stretch material. I wanted a jeans fit, not a baggy fit.

As a woman, it’s often difficult to find jeans to fit well but was wary about buying men’s jeans. However, with such an easy return procedure and low price, I took a chance and ordered them. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of shipping, the fit, and, of course, the price.

IU will definitely buy more.

Was just a tad bit uncertain the size with ordering on line. But I went for his true size and very happy I did. He loved the loose fit in the hips and legs but there was no sagging in the backside. Quality material, made vey well.

Will defiantly hold up over time. Highly Recommend.

Twice I purchased on line these jeans. The first time the error was on me as the 54 inc waist was about 3 inches bigger. So I returned and ordered 52 inch waist. This pair was still about 2 inches bigger.

On all other pants 52 inch fits very snug.

It’s not easy for a guy my size to find comfortable jeans. Levi’s 559 Jeans fit perfectly. They are so comfortable that I bought two more of these jeans. Thank you DXL – You are my favorite men’s clothing store.

These are some of the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. They are just as the name implies extremely stretchy and very soft. No matter if your sitting, squatting, working, or going out these I highly recommend these jeans.

I own 3 pairs and plan to buy more.

I typically wear cargo shorts. This appears to be half of the wardrobe of the 60-70 somethings. However, there are times when I’m working around the house or it’s too cold outside to wear shorts, or we may be going out for a casual dinner.

That’s why I purchased these jeans. While my middle fluctuates in girth, these jeans are able to keep up with the changes and still feel comfortable. They feel great while driving long distances and don’t tend to bunch up at the hip joints like some pants do.

So, overall they provide a comfortable fit and are priced well. I may just go get another pair soon.

I have purchased two of these men pants and they been great. I feel very comfortable as I started losing pretty much weight cuz of my bypass surgery that I had sometime in October I thank you very much for making such a great pair of jeans I really love both jeans that I purchased and yes I will buy more.

I love these jeans, they are the most comfortable jeans I’ve found. I really only wear jeans. I do own a couple pair of slacks, but for the majority of my activities, I always wear jeans. I do home remodeling for my trade and I wear theses jeans every day at work.

The only issue I’ve found is that tend to wear through the high contact areas, like knees, thighs, pocket lips. But I find the very comfortable and don’t uncomfortable, even after a 14hr day. Please do not stop making these!!!!!!.

I’m not one for dressing up so I wear these jeans every day, at home and at work and I have been doing so for nearly 30 years now. I read many reviews that said these jeans had changed in recent years and many were not happy with them but I don’t have any issue with them, in fact I think they have improved.

The cut does seem to have changed slightly, but to me the fit is still just as comfortable as it has always been. I read complaints about the side pockets on the right leg being smaller than before so not being as useful as they used to be, but the jeans I received in my recent orders have pockets that are actually a bit larger than they used to be.

I never used to be able to fit my cell phone (Samsung S20 5G with a hard shell Otterbox case) in either of the two pockets but now it fits in both perfectly. This small expansion of those pockets has made them even more useful for carrying tools like pliers, utility knives, screwdrivers, etc.

when I’m doing handy work around the house as well. They have also added an additional pocket on the left leg under the hammer loop as well. That pocket also fits my cell phone and other items perfectly.

The smaller, tighter fit of those pockets was my only complaint about these jeans before, but not anymore. The pockets are perfect now. The pocket on the left leg was something friends and I used to say would be an excellent addition and it’s great to see Wrangler took the feedback/suggestion and added it.

I was hesitant to order new jeans after reading the comments/reviews from others wondering if my long time favorite jeans would be a disappointment, but so glad I went ahead and got them anyway as they have turned out to be better than ever.

Very pleased with them and will be ordering more very soon as the older pairs I have have lasted well over 10 years but are finally needing to be replaced. If you like relaxed fit carpenter jeans, get these, they are fantastic.

Seems these are the jeans I always loved. This style of Wrangler jean has always been my go-to jean. For me – WAY better than Levi, Lee, or other jeans. Loved the fit, feel, deep pockets, quality fabric, hardware, etc.

Then, I saw changes, as did a lot of other people according to reviews. Comments were that the material was lighter weight, back pockets smaller, front pockets shallower, watch pocket smaller, crotches tighter, waist fit lower to comply with new style trends, etc.

This concerned me to the point I started checking out local inventory, trying them on. Yes, it did seem they had changed them – a lot probably having to do with they were being manufactured in a lot of different places.

It appeared that what you ended up with depended on what country they were made in, probably what factory. So for 5 years I was afraid to buy these jeans. Finally, I decided if I made sure I only ordered the 96501DS, maybe they might have gone back to the old reliable standard great jean they were before.

Well – good news folks! The jeans I received had all the attributes of the old jeans. I’m extremely happy that I have my old jeans back!.

I am involved in community stray animal care 365 nights a year. During the winter months, while we do not get as frigid as northern states do, windchill off the water at our location frequently is in the 20s, enough to be very uncomfortable without some type of warm clotihing.

While I have had great coverage wtih jackets and upper body wear, the jeans I prefer to use have been quite inadequate to keep my legs war. These Wrangler insulated denims seem to be a perfect balance.

The denim weight is heavy; these are not lightweight pants. The Dupont Thinsulate layer is finished with a fleece lining, allowing good mobility and bending while still keeping heat in and cold out. While I haven’t used them yet this season, they appear to be just what the doctor ordered to avoid having to see the doctor for pneumonia.

Very happy with this purchase and feel the price was quite fair for this product.

I am getting tired of stretch jeans. You buy a pair and they start stretching out until they wind up around my knees. The Rustler brand has no stretch material in them. But, for me, finding the right pair is difficult.

I tried on 3 pairs and none would fit around the waist, being too tight. I took them back for a refund/exchange. I was able to fine one pair out of the several same size I needed. No two pair are alike, but this is the only pair that fits my contour.

I’ll keep on buying them. thank you Walmart for carrying them.

I HAD A PAIR OF THESE FOR HALF A YEAR AND THEY HELD UP TO SOME OUTDOOR USE WITH SOME CARE TO TRY TO AVOID RIPS FROM SNAGS. I PREFER THE FRONT POCKETS TO WHAT YOU USUALLY GET FROM A PAIR OF WHAT IS REFERRED TO AS “KHAKIS”.

IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO HAPPEN BUT USUALLY IT SEEMS THE WAY THE POCKET OPENING IS SHAPED PREVENTS WHAT YOU PUT IN THERE FROM FALLING OUT BETTER. SOME PANTS HAVE FRONT POCKETS THAT ARE BEST RESERVED FOR BEING HANDWARMER POCKETS ONLY.

THERE IS NO 5TH POCKET LIKE ONE PAIR OF PANTS I HAD OTHER THAN THESE. THOSE WERE WRANGLER AND ALSO 501 LEVI. HAD 2 WRANGLERS AND 1 501 LEVI THAT BECAME MORE LOOSE AS I LOST WEIGHT FROM A YEAR AGO. I LIKED THAT THE LEVI 501 HAD THE METAL BUTTON FLY TO 5 POCKET ARRANGEMENT COMMON WITH JEANS TODAY TO THE 100 PERCENT COTTON SPECIFICATION.

THE RUSTLER TURNS OUT TO GIVE A LOT IN RETURN FOR THE PRICE PAID. I WOULD SAY THEY ARE AT LEAST AS GOOD AS SOME PANTS THAT COST MORE AND BETTER THAN OTHERS I HAVE TRIED BEFORE AND TESTED WITH USE. THE 501 LEVI SET A HIGHER STANDARD FOR THE ON FEATURE THEY INCLUDE THAT MANY OTHERS DO NOT WHICH IS A FLY THAT I EXPECT TO BE MORE RELIABLE.

I FOUND SOME WRANGLER BUTTON FLY JEANS ADVERTISED ON THE WRANGLER WEBSITE AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY NOT ON MY GO TO LIST AS THEY ARE DESCRIBED AS BEING LESS THAN 100 PERCENT COTTON. I THINK I WILL TAKE ONE STAR OFF FOR THE LACK OF A METAL BUTTON FLY.

I really like these jeans but I’m having difficulty getting a really good fit. If I purchase one size, they are so tight when I put them on, I feel I can barely walk. But purchase just one size up, just two inches up, and the jeans fall off after a couple hours of wear! I bought athletic thinking they would stay snug after a few hours of wear, but these get just as loose.

I guess if I’m going to wear jeans, I’m going to have to wash them in hot water and dry them on high between each wear or get the next size down and not breath for a few hours until they relax.

I purchased this product for an upcoming special occasion since they didn’t have my size in-store. The product delivered quickly and was just as I requested. Size 44×30, fit perfectly, good looks and well constructed.

I am very happy with not only the product, but the great in-store service with friendly faces that assisted me with my entire process. I have worn the Levi 550 jeans for many years and the quality of the material was excellent. However, the last three pairs purchased in 2021 have all torn straight down along the side of the back pocket and cannot be repaired, Appears the material has changed to an inferior quality.

Other comments starting in 2020 stated the same thing. Company advises 90 day return. So, save your receipt and the tags from the jeans. Come on Levi step up the quality of the fabric and the manufacturer.

Wore these for years not anymore. I bought several pairs on sale a year ago and denim tore on 2 pairs within weeks, had to throw out. The material has been cheapened, thinner than it used to be. No tear strength.

So I switched to Wranger sold at Walmart for 1/2 the Levi sale price. I have had no failures after a year of daily use. So bought some more there.

We purchased these jeans having worn Levi’s for decades and the first time wearing them the outer seem came loose. Not sure if Levi’s standards have slipped as we had to purchase these because two other pairs got rips in them (those were stress related, but it seems odd that they are all falling apart) I’m going to mend them since my husband can’t go without pants if I go to the hassle of a return/exchange.

I shouldn’t have to mend brand new jeans that cost over $40!! This might convince him to branch away from Levi’s.

The 502 is a nice mix of slim fit and straight fit — not a skinny jean, but decidedly not baggy or “standard” in fit. Sits just below the waist, and has stretch to keep them comfortable. I find this the most forgiving cut of Levi’s in terms of waist size — if you’re between sizes, you can usually wear the smaller size in this jean.

Length is as expected. This particular colour is super dark so be sure to wash them before you wear them, or you’ll be tinting everything dark blue.

I purchased the item and washed as instructions indicated, they product had substantial shrinkage after laundering in cold water and drying on a low setting. I wouldn’t recommend this product. This is what kind of product you receive when out sourcing to another country.

Very disappointed in the item. I’ll donate it to some homeless shelter and continue to look for a this product by a different manufacturer that makes it’s product in the USA.

I think this pair of 36 x 30 Jeans was not sized correctly by the manufacturer. I had already bought another pair of a different color of these same Levi 502’s at Kohl’s that showed the exact same size on the label that I’ve only had for a couple of months that fits me great.

But this particular pair (it was the last one they had in my size) is a lot smaller and tighter. If it were to shrink in the wash even just a half a smidgen, it would not be too confining for me to wear at all.

I immediately returned them so I could get my money back. Again, I believe that these jeans were so tight that they were either mis-manufactured or mis-labled size-wise. -Not Walmarts fault at all.

Believe me when I say these pants were great. Comfortable to wear. Especially for someone who has big calves and is hard to find jeans to fit. Downfall is they lasted about a month before they start developing a rip in the fabric around the outside of the zipper.

Shame $60 jeans don’t last longer then a month.

I purchased two pairs of the same size jeans on line. There was at least a size difference between the two pairs. I returned the large pair to a store and exchanged for another pair that fit better. I ran them through the washer before wearing and one of the rivets at the pocket fell out.

These pairs had been ordered to replace two pairs previously returned because seams failed within the first month on both pairs.

The jeans have a nice fit however the material is so-so. After 2 months or wearing in the office the material does appear to be durable but, it does stretch out a fair amount (especially in the waste).

Additionally, the belt loops are a little flimsy and also stretch out – the belt loops would be better if they were twice as wide or thick. I would recommend going with the Big and Tall as it gives extra space in the inseam and seat.

I am 6’4, 250lbs (athletic build) and the 40W/36L fit well (could have probably gone with the 38W as the waste did stretch. I would like to see the pants in additional colours (grey, or khaki).

Waist fits quite snug to size. After wearing a while, the pants stretch out significantly. Not realizing this, my spouse selected the next waist size larger in order to do up the pants. After wearing the pants a while, the pants are almost too large.

Looking back we should’ve tried the smaller size – but were not prepared for the risk if they did not stretch to fit. As well, the cut indicates tapered leg but this is not comparable to the same Jean in dark wash.

These tapered leg pants seem more straight cut and when they stretch out they seem baggy.

First, let me say that DXL is my go-to store for virtually all my clothing. I am a big guy who likes to look good. However, your typical retailers just don’t have the sizes and selections that I find at DXL.

When I go to the local DXL store, I know I will be walking out with clothing that is stylish and clothing which actually fits my body type. I no longer waste time hopping from store to store, spending hours sifting through limited clothing selections in my size.

The True Nation Athletic-Fit jeans were one of my more recent purchases. I have big legs and I absolutely love the fit and color.

When my wife bought the first three pair of these jeans for me, I was skeptical to say the least. I had worn Wranglers for decades and was very pleased with them. Only problem was, Wranglers are heavy and usually quite baggy.

I thought these would be too fitted for comfort and I was very wrong. They are extremely comfortable and look good too. They are now the only jeans I wear, to work or play in. If you are a Big & Tall guy, these may be exactly what you’re looking for!.

Jeans look great, but I’ve been wearing stretch jeans for years. These were not as comfortable as i hope they would be. But still look great and gets the job done.

I bought these jeans for my son, who is average height but quite slender. It is difficult to find him pants that fit in the waist. These Old Navy jeans fit him perfectly; he said that they are very comfortable, and they look great on him.

I was pleased to be able to find a 29″ waist, as many brands don’t offer this size; the color was nice, also. Hopefully they’ll last for awhile, as the material wasn’t exceptionally heavyweight.

Didn’t realize I’d miss the 1% spandex so much in these jeans. The fit was okay, but the legs (thighs) were a bit snug. I got a 29W & 30L, bc I prefer guys jeans or women’s boyfriend jeans. I’m 5’8″ and 125lbs, but prefer a looser fit.

I also hoped the denim would’ve been a little more faded and worn. Not exactly like the picture. Disappointed and will probably return.
