I received my new shoes about 3 weeks ago, and I am so very please with them! For several years, I’ve had a very difficult time finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet. I’m flat footed, so I can’t wear just any shoe.
In summer I usually have no problem with shoes, I wear flip flops- not the flat ones, but the black ones with a little bling on the piece that goes between the toes and has an inch or so platform that is rubber so it has some give and cushion.
I don’t have wide feet, but any type of closed in shoe, it hurts my feet something terrible! Around September, I had already started shopping for shoes to wear during the cold weather. It has to be a slip on- front covered but the back open.
And most the time, I wind up buying a pair, wear them at home for a few hours then usually wind up returning them. Most the time, it takes me 3 or 4 tries before finding a pair that don’t hurt my feet.
But while on line one day, I saw your web site. I was reluctant about ordering any shoes, cause there was a good chance I would have to return them. But when I read I could try them for 60 days and return them with no shipping charge, I thought I’d give it a try.

These black “Louise” slide-in shoes arrived shortly after Thanksgiving. The Velcro adjusted nicely over the high domed top of my foot. Being ridiculous, I out them on straight out of the box, and went for a walk that devolved into a flat hike.
Slogged through 1/2 mile of nearly frozen standing water in my brand new shoes, walked a mile on a boardwalk, slogged back through the water. Feet were comfortable the whole time, quickly warmed up once I was out of the puddles.
Threw the shoes in the washer, dried over a heating vent, and have worn them nearly continuously since. They are really, really comfortable. Are they flattering? No. But neither is hobbling, or declining activities because of my feet, or being grumpy while standing or moving around at work.
It’s a trade-off. My feet: wide, semi- buniony, high arch, high instep. I hate shoes with seams near my pinkie toe. These are beautifully supportive without bothersome lateral pressure. Don’t ask me how that works.
Bottom line, they are more comfy than my bionic bedroom slippers, look like low cloth topped clogs and keep me very happy. –a 59 year old F/S dog-walking veterinary surgeon.

I have always bought myself supermarket slippers before, but they only seem to last one season and so, in the interest of sustainability, I thought I’d try Woolovers’ slippers. What a find! I imagine the Queen has some decadently soft Persian rugs scattered about the halls of Balmoral, but they can be as nothing compared to the comfort offered by these slippers.
Wearing them is like walking on air. They are sumptuously soft and warm. I find that, when my feet are cold, my whole body is cold, but these are like having underfloor heating just for me. I can’t comment on how durable they are because I’ve only had them a few weeks, but they certainly look well made.

These slippers have seriously been the BEST thing to happen to me in my quest for the right Summer slippers! Please excuse my unpolished toes in the pictures, I’m waiting for foot surgery on my right foot for a bunion at the base of my big toe.
And now I’m getting a second pair because they are SO comfortable, (especially with the bunion, they don’t put any pressure on that area), they stay on my feet and have non-slip outside soles to run out to the mailbox or jump in the car to make a quick run to the drive through for food.
They definitely run big. I ordered a size small and I wear size 7. 5 shoes. The small fits great! I can’t recall the last time I was so thrilled with slippers! I just want to start my review with a brief explanation. I have a rare condition called epidermolysis bullosa. It causes my skin to blister very easily, especially on my feet, and is extremely painful, which greatly limits the amount of time I can be on my feet.
I’ve always been very frustrated and upset by my limits; I’ve never been able to just ‘go for a walk’ or anything like that. A big part of managing my condition is the shoes I wear. A few years ago, my mother bought these shoes for me as a birthday gift.
She had read the reviews about how comfortable they were and was hoping they might help to lessen the effects of my condition. I was skeptical, because I’ve tried tons of different types of shoes in the past, and none worked as well as I wanted to, but these shoes truly are different.
My feet have never tolerated anything NEARLY as much as they tolerate these shoes. They are so soft and comfortable, minimizing the friction when I walk to a tiny amount, and I’m able to be on my feet for hours and hours longer than I ever was able to before.
I’ve been able to do SO many more things when I wear these shoes, and they’re more or less the only shoes I wear now. It’s not an exaggeration to say that these shoes changed my life for the better, and I am so grateful for them.

I’ve been buying these slippers for years!! I have diabetes and on my feet all day and these slippers use to be a little bit of heaven when I got home and put them on. If I’d have known u were going to change them so much I’d have bought a 100 pair or more to make sure I never ran out.
These new ones are terrible, small strap so more like flip flops now and the foot bed is hard as a rock I’ve tried wearing them a few times thinking they just need wore in, nope my feet hurt worse after wearing them I won’t be wearing them again.

Tried this brand in three different styles. I find them all to run a bit small, but eventually the faux fur lining quickly flattens down, the slippers stretch out and are too big. The fit becomes sloppy and there is absolutely no support whatsoever.

1st pair lasted over 2 yrs. this included every day home, garden,garage and driving wear. Uppers were unmarked but soles begining to wear thin. best slippers/homewear owned. I replaced with same.

Due to age and assorted conditions my feet, ankles and lower legs become very swollen. My doctor likes to keep water tablet dose to a minimum as these meds impact on kidney performance (which is not great, but thankfully seems to remain stable).
So feet which swell are very much a way of life for me. I have purchase two or perhaps three of the Holly slippers over the years and was going to order a replacement pair this time too. Looking at the catalogue with my son we noticed the Sally fabric shoes.
The slit which opens down a good length of the instep looked ideal, as actually getting footwear on would usually present the biggest problem. The velcro strap to keep them secure looked good too, and the extensions for when a swollen upper foot/instep would be a real problem.
On paper they looked an excellent solution so I ordered them, along with the extension pieces. When they arrived they certainly lived up to my expectations, which is sadly often not the case when buying from catalogues/online! They are very comfortable indeed, easy to get on and take off.
I am in no hurry to take them off at the end of the day at all in fact! There are no sharp seams inside to rub on my feet. I wear them with the insole, which cushions my soles nicely. Removing it to accomodate a bandage (I have at times needed clinical care when my legs ‘break out’ with fluid, as happens with my condition) looks like it would work well as I have tried them like this with multiple thick socks to check.
The extensions really help here, as they allow me to keep the shoes secure but comfortable with varying choice of sock or swelling. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. They appear to have been designed by somebody who understands the problems I have.
