20 Best House Slippers For Concrete Floors (2023 Updated)

These were purchased to replace a pair that had seen it’s better day. Finding slippers for narrow feet isn’t easy and this style seems to run a bit narrower although this pair is wider than my old ones.

I like the wool lining as it does not cause my feet to perspire. I’m usually an 8N and I bought the L (8-9). The length is good–I wish the toe box was a bit higher and that is why I only gave a 4 star rating.

If these wear like the first pair, the sole is very durable. There is minimal arch support–that is okay; if I need support I wear shoes.

I have purchased this item before. This purchase was for a gift. The item description on sizing with the reviews is accurate and informative and worth reading. The heel “rim” on the back keeps this slipper pretty securely on the foot.

The sizing allows for socks in most cases which does snug up the fit. The soles are great to prevent slipping. Overall this is a durable item, a great gift because we often do not indulge ourselves with a high quality slipper that can take us outside to grab the mail, take out the trash, as well as inside.

Of course the sole is easily cleaned off. Great price point for what is a shoe-slipper. Mine have been long wearing and remain my go to for “house shoes. ” I had to purchase mine, now I am giving as a gift and wouldn’t mind some reciprocity on this slipper.

I bought these slippers because I didn’t want my feet completely “encased” in a full slipper – that can get to be too hot. These have a wonderful warmth and are comfortable to wear. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the foot bed a 5 for support.

Because the slippers are wool, you can’t just toss them in the washing machine, so after a period of time, the inside sole gets flat. That just takes away points in my book as I have problematic feet.

But, the style is perfect for wearing around the house (and even a run out to the mailbox or bringing the garbage cans!) I have another pair of Acorn slippers in the spa thong style and because I love them so much, I decided to try these for winter.

Best house shoes I have found! They accommodate my foot problems perfectly. The adjustable flaps allow plenty of room for my bone spurs and my old broken foot swelling. The open toes prevent further injury to a toenail that is still healing after being mashed when descending a steep climb 10 years ago.

And they are warm, comfortable, and WASHABLE! Yay!.

I just received a pair I had ordered. They fit and are very comfortable, so I decided to get another pair. I had foot surgery several years ago for bunions, and my feet are now hard to fit. Since these slippers fit so well I thought I had better get a spare.

THESE SLIPPERS ARE SOOO SOFT AND COMFORTABLE. THEY ADJUST IN SIZE FOR SWOLLEN FEET. I LOVE THEM….. AND ORDERED A SECOND PAIR.

I HAVE NEVER GIVEN A BAD REVIEW TO ANY ITEM THAT I HAVE BOUGHT ON QVC IN ALL THESE PAST YEARS. EVERYTHING QVC SELLS IS WONDERFUL QUALITY AND BEAUTIFULLY MADE. THESE SLIPPERS ARE THE WORST SLIPPERS I HAVE EVER SEEN.

THE SLIPPERS THAT THEY SELL IN WALGRENS PHARMACY AND CVS ARE ACTUALLY MUCH NICER AND A LOT CHEAPER THAN THESE SLIPPERS. I CANNOT IMAGINE DEARFOAMS PUTTING THEIR NAME ON THESE SLIPPERS. I HAVE THEM ON TIME PAYMENT BUT WAS SO UPSET THAT I THREW THEM IN THE RUBBISH AFTER WEARING THEM ONLY FOR 1 HOUR.

THEY STARTED FALLING OFF MY FEET- MY HEELS KEPT SLIPPING OUT AND THEN MY TOES STARTED PUSHING THROUGH THE TIPS OF THE SLIPPERS AND THE FAB RIC IS SO THIN AND WEAK THAT MY TOES WOULD HAVE WORN THROUGH IN ANOTHER COUPLE OF HOURS.

THE SIZE IS FINE BUT WHEN YOU WEAR THEM FOR AN HOUR THE SIZE CHANGES AND THEY STRETCH OUT. IO LOST MY HEAD AND THEW THEM OUT BUT SHOULD HAVE RETURNED THEM INSTEAD.

I’m an 8. 5 in most shoes but wanted to have plenty of toe wiggle room; they’re slippers, I want super comfy so I like a bit extra room. Therefore, I sized up, got the Large which says it’s a 9-10. I figured that would be plenty of room and maybe even a little TOO much.

Nope — my big toes are pushing against the fabric at the end of the shoe. I can tell if I wear these multiple times it will tear through. Also the “Dearfoams” tag inside the shoe is attached right at the heel rather than on the inside wall of the slipper or elsewhere that you could not feel it when you are walking and standing.

The tag itself is not completely flat against the shoe because it’s only secured at each end of the tag. Thought maybe I’d just cut it out but there’s a seam that would remain where the tag was which would probably be even more irritating on the heel of my foot than the tag itself, and I’m having to send them back anyway because they RUN VERY SMALL so I won’t bother with the name brand tag.

Very disappointed in these slippers. Was considering re-ordering and getting the largest size, “XL” which says 11-12 — that seems crazy since my shoe size is 8. 5!! But no – I am NOT re-ordering for two reasons: 1) the irritating “Dearfoams” tag that would still irritated my heel even if I snipped the tag itself out due to the ‘seams’ holding it in place, and 2) I see that these are now priced at $40 PLUS another $8.

95 shipping even though they arrived in a small plastic bag and the whole thing weighs less than a pound. When I purchased, they were $24 with free shipping. I would not pay $50 for these slippers, no way, even if the sizing was accurate.

Tag placement makes them unwearable for me either way. Big disappointment.

Love this slipper. Warm enough for winter (I keep house at 65 degrees) yet my feet never sweat in them and I can tell they will be great year round. Just enough cushion to feel nice with our hard flooring.

No real traction on bottom but I don’t need that indoors. I’m a size 9 and the large fit well. I do feel that I maxed out the slipper though. A 10 might need next size up. These slippers look like they will wash up easy and look great and last for several seasons.

I like the slippers overall. They are rugged and comfortable. I have accidentally even worn them out. However, it feels like my feet always sweat when wearing them. And they do not have a wide size. I wear a size 14 now (I’m getting shorter and my feet are getting bigger) and the 1st size I got was a was a XXL.

Right foot was fine but they hurt my left foot. Left is bigger than my right foot and wider. I ordered a 2nd pair of XXXL to try. Left is long enough but still not wide enough. I now wear 2 different size slippers.

It’s not noticeable, just feels funny. I would order the next size up from what you think you should wear. On the bright side, I have pair of size XXL and XXXL for sale if anybody’s interested.

The size I ordered was too small for my feet, and started to hurt (specifically rubbing/cutting into my Achilles tendon) while wearing them for only 15 to 30 minutes, and I am currently in the process of returning them.

I ordered size 2XL, and I typically wear US Men’s size 13 (my usual outdoor shoes are Sketchers – Size 13 Wide), I remember reading some comments that made me think that the 2XL size would fit, but it seems like it was too small.

I wish the size selections were less ambiguous than the simple letter sizes of S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL. That said, other than the size I ordered being too small for my feet, the slippers seems to be of fairly good quality.

These arrived promptly. They are sized right and are comfy. It remains to be seen how they wear over time but for now I am satisfied. The packaging left a little to be desired. They were not boxed, and in handling, the left slipper’s heel was hit by some other package.

The heel is now weakened so it doesn’t stand up when put the slipper on. They should have been shipped in a protective box.

Very disappointed w/these Slippers. They have a hard insole, & the Arch Support looks & feels like a hard, sharp ridge rather than a rounded orthotic that curves & supports your Arch like a traditional Orthotic.

I’m a Diabetic w/Vascular Disease & need to get Supportive, comfortable Footwear. The soles on these aren’t even the least bit flexible, just hard & are difficult 2walk in & everyone hears me coming like I’m wearing a dress shoe, since the bottoms of these don’t bend at all.

Wish I would have gotten the Women’s Vionic Slipper Mule instead, even though I’m a man. I had a pair once & they were the most comfortable Slipper I had, but I hoped this would be more durable, be higher quality, & safer for bringing in Firewood.

Boy was I wrong. Wish QVC carried more Men’s Slippers, & had free Return Shipping. Reluctant 2ever but Footwear here again.

Returned immediately. The title says it all. The wool material is of really poor quality and amazingly thin so that it is easy to poke holes in it. Don’t even think about getting this wet! Do not spill anything on this slipper like water or coffee.

Do not wear outside. The interior padding is extremely skimpy, flat and is white in color so, you guessed it, the inside will not be white long. The arch support is not under the arch but seemingly under the ball of the foot and feels like it is made of wood.

Since the padding is dreadfully thin you can feel the lumpy support bump uncomfortably wedged behind the ball of your foot. They say half sizes should go DOWN but I do not agree due to the placement of the arch support (which is not in the arch).

Should you decide to go ahead with this purchase you will need that extra half inch so the ball of your foot does not ache and your toes smash into the shoe front. Good grief, just get something else.

I just ordered my second pair of these slippers. I really love them. I have an issue with plantar fasciitis. It was great to discover a slipper with arch support. A big plus was the soft lining. You can slide in with your bare feet and not be concerned that the slipper is going to cause irritation.

As they said with the arch support, the shoe stays on your foot and doesn’t slide off when you’re going up or down stairs. With clothing and such on QVC being focused primarily on the female, it was nice to see something for the male.

Let’s see more of such!.

I’ve ordered five pairs of shoes from three different companies in the past 6 months, including two pairs from Orthofeet, and all have had to be sent back, except this pair. These slippers actually FIT! I have a high arch, a high instep and swelling in my left foot.

These shoes fit nicely, are adjustable, and comfortable. The only issue I have is the lining. It makes my feet too warm, actually to the point of sweating. But I live in Texas so almost any shoes make my feet too hot! At least I now have shoes that will be perfect for the month or so of cold weather we get here.

😊 I’m planning on ordering another pair of Orthofeet shoes similar to these but without the lining. I hope they’ll fit.

I’m 55 years old, I treat my body like it’s 20 years old. evidentally I’m starting to experience all sorts of STOPS in my life! Knee problems, neck problems, back problems, THEN. here comes Plantar Fasciitis!! WOW! That’s a disabler!! I bought night splints, heel pads, cbs oil, massages.

gel sleeves for my heel, ice packs made for just the heel, did my stretches, stopped my morning hikes, to no avail. the pain got worse and worse. I was hesitant on buying some slippers for over a $100!!! MY WORD!! REALLY? So I saved my pennies, sold some things, and bought these slippers! I am 75% better!!!!!! I don’t take these slippers off!! I hate shoes in the house!! But guess what? I’m wearing these in the house! They healed my heel!! I will be ordering some sandals and tennis shoes, already started saving!! I believe these are the best shoes for ANYONE that has issues with their feet, SERIOUSLY! It is worth EVERY penny folks! Or just bypass this review and don’t believe me and go spend 20 bucks on a knock off.

Finally, I found slippers that accommodate my left foot that sometimes swells due to venous insufficiency. Most adjustable slippers allow a bit expansion across the arch of the foot. My OrthoFeet slippers expand to just above my toes, providing comfortable relief.

I also like the high coverage over the arch, and roomy toe box. I have MS, and the slippers help me feel more balanced without aggravating the neuropathy in my feet. These are not the most “flattering” style of slipper, but I’ll happily trade beauty for comfort.

I agree with other reviewers that selecting a half-size down is a good idea. The slippers run large.

I ordered a mens size 10 slipper. Even though the invoice, shoe box and shoe all read “size 10m” it clearly was a much smaller size. Maybe about a size 7 or 7. 5. I called customer service only to discover that if I requested a replacement I would most likely receive the same slippers back.

Therefore I have requested a refund with much disappointment because the construction of the slipper looked superior. I am hesitant to rate my experience as a 1 star but it reflects the reality.

These slippers are so comfortable! This is my first pair of arch support shoes. I never thought I needed shoes to support until my doctor recommend this specific Power Step brand and what a difference.

I nought this (cheaper) from HSN but they don’t sell them anymore. Most supportive slippers I have owned. I have some foot issues like morton’s neuromas and these are so comfy. really help.

My husband loves these slippers! He has 3 pairs. One at our daughter’s, one on the RV and one for home. He never goes barefoot, so these fit like a shoe for in the house. And they hold up well.

MOST COMFORTABLE FOR ME, I had a stroke not too long ago. I have waked with a walker ever since. I favor my left side tremendously now foot hurts knee hurts along with hips and the list goes on. I have tried many slippers ever since.

Not my first pair of these. They are light to wear. They are warm. They are comfortable. They are, obviously, lighthearted. My only regret. They wear out rather quickly.

First my experience with Greats was not great. Received wrong information from Customer Service now I own two pair. Second pair arrived before first pair. They market this shoe as a WFH/Slipper, OMG ❤️❤️❤️ one of the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn since Birkenstock.

The insole conforms to shape of sole just enough. I keep wishing the inside of shoe was not synthetic, not going to like in summer. My biggest irk/annoyance is the entire sole is made of same material, therefore side of shoe is creased and continuing to collapse.

My biggest and reason I’m going to reduce stars to 2 (got annoyed I paid 200. 00) the seam on sole iz glued thus causing insecurities in the purchase. Not worth 100. 00 or hassle to get refund. After taking WFH Slipper goggles off definitely wouldn’t buy again for 99.

I love the look of them, but once I got them I was surprised at how flimsy and cheap feeling they are. The base feels like one of those foam flip flops with some other fabric glued to it. I’ve had them for about a week and the “leather” wrapping that connects the base to the upper is already starting to bubble and separate.

The website shows people wearing these outside, but don’t even try it. I walked down my driveway in them and my toe lightly scuffed the concrete and it immediately created a small tear. I own several pairs of Greats sneakers and thought these slippers would have the same level of quality, but yikes! Writing this review bums me out.

My slippers arrived just before Christmas and I got them as a working from home shoe. I have only worn them around my small one bedroom apartment and these slippers are already started to tear around the seams that connect the footbed to the sole of the shoe.

These are not stitched, they are glued. Extremely disappointed that these slippers are beginning to fall apart after a month of wear. I got these to replace a pair of Eddie Bauer slippers that lasted me 6+ years long and which I am wearing at the moment instead of the Greats.

These slippers are adjustable in width. They are a bit short for me, but I can wear them. I was disappointed in the comfort. They are so flat that my feet feel the need for some support either in the arch or a bit of a heel.

I wear a size 6. 5 in sneakers, 7 in boots or dress shoes, depending on the shoe. I read the other reviews that said this slipper was just a bit on the smaller side, so I went ahead and ordered the medium, and I find it to be a perfect fit.

After I tried it on, I went ahead and washed it in my washing machine. It washed beautifully and I placed it on top of a large fan on high to dry it; I wasn’t going to listen to it bang around in the dryer for 45 minutes or risk the heat damaging the sole.

I wear slippers around the house all the time, so it’s important to me to be able to wash them when they get dirty. It’s too early to tell how well they’ll hold up, but they seem very well made so I’m optimistic.

They were a bit stuffy at first, but after wearing them around for a couple of days, they’ve gotten stretched to my foot better and are still amazingly cushy and comfortable. Not too terribly hot, though they do retain heat more then my last pair.

Could not find that same or similar slipper, I think this will do for a new spring-summer-fall slipper, though.

I received these slippers today in the light blue and am very pleased. They are attractive with tiny embroidered pink and blue flowers with green stems. I wanted shoes with a sole more like a gym shoe and these do not disappoint.

Unfortunately, I think they run a little small. My 9. 5 sized feet barely fit in these size 9-10 slippers. The heels almost fall off the back of the slipper. I think they should be slightly longer, but I can get by okay.

These are supposed to be machine washable in cool water. Should not be put in the dryer. All-in-all I think I will be very happy with these. If I am not I will surely come back and say so. Added later: Still very happy, but these do make a little clip-clip noise on hard floors.

These slippers are amazing. Exactly what I was looking for and more. There was another comment saying if you’re trying to look for others and compare, just stop and get these and I agree. They are so soft and cute and they hold the foot so it’s comfortable walking around in them.

I use them as house slippers and anyone that’s seen them said they look nice. I honestly have no negatives for these. I’m so happy I bought these and will probably only get these slippers from now on.

If you’re unsure cause the price or wondering how they will be, just get them. They are worth the price and you won’t regret it.

Comfy, warm, snug. Thick felt upper, and substantial comfy sole. Bit tough to get on the first time – assume it takes getting used to.

I thought my size was medium but the medium pink was too big for me but fit my husband. Decided to order a pink small for me and a medium blue for my husband. When the medium blue came, that was too small for my husband and too big for me; the small pink was OK for me.

Ended up sending back medium blue and keeping the two pinks – now we both have pink slippers that fit. So, the bottom line is two pairs of slippers, both medium, may not fit the same. Once we got the sizes right, they are great slippers.

I received my slippers today. On the web site it does not say that they are suitable for both men and women however it does say that on the box. I would not have ordered them. Mens sizes are totally different from womens.

I ordered the size medium since I wear a perfect size 7. Slippers are huge and flop around on my feet. Trip hazard. Will be exchanging them for the small because they are comfortable.

Pink seems to be more durable. I have small washer, they have wasted great every time. I wear over Unna boots and drainage from legs is excessive, still they are durable. Blue -were great ’til put in washer.

Insole fell out and shredded in tiny pieces. Still I will order more, maybe just pink.

This is the 2nd pair of Journee Stardust slippers I purchased in a different color. I have the grey pair as well. Very comfortable and love the design. Can wear any season and very durable. Great price.

The other Journee black slippers with the beige bow, the foot-bed/sole was hard/not comfortable.

I bought these for my mom for Christmas because they looked soft on the inside and also had a hard sole. They are super cute and girly and I’m sure she’s going to love them.

Absolutely love these slippers. Size is true, (ordered size 7 – shoe size 6-1/2) very comfortable, color as shown, great value. Great for people with a high instep as slipper does not come halfway up your foot as most others.

Love these slippers! No bows! HA! Very nice to wear in or outside. Warm, comfortable and great price! I wear mine outside all the time and the bottoms are made well for that! A Great all year slipper!

Unfortunately, had to return them for credit. Although the soles reflected right and left foot, it felt as though the shoes were made for two left feet. Never had this happen before and also never have had anything from Cabela’s that was inferior.

So I’m sure this was a rare circumstance and certainly does not detour my future purchases!.
