20 Best House Slipper For Plantar Fasciitis (2023 Updated)

OMG!!!! These slippers are GREAT. I’m considering ordering another pair so I can have one for travel. I got these because I have Plantar Fasciitis and hardwood and ceramic tile floors in my house and I like to go barefoot but that was really painful.

So I started wearing regular house shoes and my fee continued to swell from the impact and the pain was so bad I had to walk on my tippy toes. I purchased these shoes and they are GREAT. I feel like I’m walking on soft pillows.

No swelling and no pain. DO you make them in RED? 🙂 Do you have Spring/Summer ones?.

I know they are pricey for slippers. Here’s the issue; I walk around the house ALL day standing and rarely sitting. I am cleaning, chasing little ones, doing laundry, p and down stairs, organizing, cooking, washing dishes, etc.

If I do not wear sneakers, which i do not like to do inside, my knees, back, feet and legs ache so bad by late afternoon. SO I decided to give Vionics a try. It was one of the best decisions of my life! I can wear them in the house all day and the sturdy but comfortable sole is great for taking out trash and recycling or running to the mailbox and NOT SLIPPING on our wood floors.

I just came back to order another pair and they’re sold out! But I will certainly be wearing Vionic slippers, continuously, for the rest of my life!!! PS the do run a bit large. stay true to size.

I am a loyal vionic fan. I have the slip on slippers and at least 6 pair of sandals and shoes. I am a Nurse and my feet hurt. I took a chance on these full shoe slippers and WOW. The shearling is so soft and the footbed, which is shearling is removable for washing!! Genius.

I purchased my standard size 9 and the fit is perfect. I purchased the pink leopard, so pretty. I appreciate the rubber sole with grip for hardwood floors and the occasional trip outside.

I wear a size 10 in most shoes. The size 9 1/2 fits perfectly with socks and a size 9 without them. I’ve tried many different brands of footwear made for over pronation and plantar fasciitis. None have relived my foot pain like these Vionic slippers have in one day’s time.

It was nice to step out of bed this morning with no foot pain. I will be switching all my footwear to Vionic’s now.

I literally Googled “slippers recommended by podiatrists” looking for slippers to find these. I need cushion and arch support but also wanted something I could just slip on that was warm. These have fit the bill nicely.

I do wish they had a little extra cushioning, but overall they have been great. I also wear them outside to get the mail. They wash nicely in the washing machine as well, an added bonus. I do find the elastic on the back keeps me from being able to just slide them on, but it does keep them on nicely, so not a big deal.

Wanted to love these slippers, because they’re cozy, adjustable, well-priced, and stay on my feet. However, the arch support is pretty minimal and hits my foot in the wrong place. I’m a size 6 and the elastic around the back of my foot causes my foot to move forward and my toes to touch the end.

That might be why the arch support doesn’t work. Really wavered about keeping them because so much about them is great.

I had a pair of these slippers that I literally wore until one began to fall apart. It had been so many years I could barely read the name on the sole it was so worn. When I found the site I was thrilled.

I love these Vionic slippers. I wear them around the house, and they give my feet the support I need. I used to not wear shoes inside my house, but noticed that my back started hurting. I have always worn orthotics, but didn’t think about support while inside my house.

I bought these on a whim because I love their sneakers, and now no more back pain because my feet are supported. They last a long time, and they are the best for my feet!.

I bought these because of past experience with Vionic products. They are extremely comfortable. I wear them every day at home. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these slippers are comfortable and we’re worth every penny! I even put them in the washing machine!.

Vionic is one of if not the best if you have feet/foot problems! They are soft, comfortable and have the right amount of support. I won’t wear any other slippers. I also have at least 3 to 4 pair of Vionic sandles.

They can be loosened if your feet swell. (a smart choice for foot issues). I highly recommend Vionic!!.

I bought this slipper according to the Vionic fit guide and went down a half size because this style is only available in whole sizes. The slipper is excellent construction and a nice style. But sizing down for an orthotic slipper did not work well because the arch hits in the wrong place and causes foot not to distribute weight properly across the foot.

What a shame. I will purchase Vionic again but only styles that have true sizing. I even tried wearing the new ones for 3 weeks hoping it was just a break in issue. That did not work. Now I’m out $70 for slippers that I cannot wear – will be looking to donate.

I only wear Vionic now so was pleased to see a new style of slipper. Missed out on the mineral colour so bought the toffee. I am size 5 and the fit was perfect with lots of support as I expect from Vionic, colour was fine and they are well made.

But they are very stiff and this did not improve with wear, it also made them hard to get on and off, not what I expect from a slipper. And they are ugly! Kept looking down at them and they made my feet look like coal boats! In a softer, felted type fabric for the Scandi style they might have been better.

Please bring back the Cozy Ida, best slipper ever!.

I feel like everyone has their own likes & dislikes about what they may require in a slipper. I immediately felt like this Vionic slipper was the one with stability I needed, but, for me, it’s just too hard to get on & off.

They’re comfy, good arch support, ample wide toe box, but there’s no flex-ability when walking. Since I need at least good arch supports, but also to be able to easily slip on & off for the middle of the night trips to the bathroom, I had to send them back.

I’ll probably look at another Vionic slipper when new ones come in before the end of the year, but for now I purchased a Spenco mule just for the house.

So I waited 3 weeks to write my review wanting to have them properly worn in 1st. These were a very new concept to me so I was honestly very skeptical and there was indeed an adjustment curve to get used to it.

I wear a wide so I immediately got 1/2 size larger and am glad I did because these are perfect! I wear a 9 wide in quantum so get these 1/2 size larger if you are a wide 9 in Quantum. Although they are heavier, it really doesn’t cause me issue nor do I find it a problem.

I can’t go barefoot and my rubber oofos summer slippers weren’t going to cut it for cold winter weather. In past years I literally wore gym shoes inside the house for winter and its just not as nice to take off slippers when putting feet up on the couch, etc.

I discovered Kuru with the quantum so this was a wonderful 2nd pair. I’m pretty sold on Kuru and ordered 2 more Kuru shoes today actually!.

I’ve had them for 3-4 weeks. I’ve experienced heal pain in my left heel for some time and since our house has hardwood floors I decided to purchase these for slippers around the house. They have been wonderful.

I also had my foot looked at and turns out I have a muscle from my calf that is pulling on the attached portion of my heel. Addressing that while also using a great slipper has helped immensely. I’m planning to purchase a pair of workout shoes for my HiiT workouts to continue to provide TLC for my feet.

Size 9 Without socks are loose, but since I occasionally wear socks in winter they work for now.

I had plantar fasciitis, notice I said had. Since finding Kuru over 2yeras ago, I no longer suffer from the problem. My Dr. told me to always wear shoes when walking around the house but I was buying inexpensive shoes and noticed days where the plantar issues seem to reappear.

Found Draft and immediately noticed a difference. I’m not a fan of backless shoes but these fit comfortably and stay on my foot. I don’t fell the small lip around my heel. Gives me the support I need.

If Kuru comes out with a lighter color , say a Gray I’ll buy another pair.

These are EXACTLY what I was looking for in a house shoe! Most women’s shoes are too narrow in the toes for me, so I ted looking at men’s house shoes and found these. LOVE them! Very comfortable with or without socks.

Feet don’t get sweaty. They have decent support (I don’t need much. Mostly just want the cushion. ) Great quality, well structured, and stylish. I wear a size 11 in women’s shoes, so I ordered a 9. 5 and they fit great.

(To convert a women’s size to men’s, subtract 1. 5 sizes. ) I didn’t want flimsy house slippers and these are the perfect hybrid of slippers and casual shoes.

For years, I have been wearing an expensive leather “clog” made in Germany. It no longer seems to be available for men in the U. S. so I’ve been forced to look elsewhere. Cloth “scuffs” don’t stay with me (I have a rather wide foot and a high arch) so I thought I’d try a moccasin style.

The ones I tried gave me no support and were, frankly, dangerous to walk with. So I tried these GeckoMan clogs. I wasn’t optimistic, but they did have an arch support. All I can say is: WOW! I’ve found a replacement for my expensive German footwear! Too early to tell how long they’ll last but I can buy at least 3 of these for the price of the German leather!.

After reading some of the reviews I admit I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but wanted “orthotic” slippers. With my high arches, walking on hard floors is uncomfortable so my podiatrist suggested wearing slippers.

These may not be great orthotics, but they do offer decent arch support. They’re quite comfortable, are of higher quality than I expected, and after wearing them for a few weeks I feel as though they’ll last quite a while.

Wearing socks, which I do about half the time, keeps them from getting too ‘stinky’ ;o).

Sorry to say I was very disappointed in these slippers. They sounded so good and I wanted to love them, but…sizing says true to size. Not true. I ordered the size I always wear, but it was squeezing my toes, so too small.

The slippers themselves were very thin and VERY stiff! They didn’t hug or cling to your feet in any way, just felt like a hard, thin shell surrounding your foot. They were also too small, which didn’t help, but even if they would have fit, they were not comfortable in any way.

Felt sort of like wearing a plastic shell my foot (hard to describe). Just say, definitely didn’t feel like slippers. I didn’t get a chance to evaluate the foot support, because I couldn’t even keep them on my feet.

Actually, I couldn’t wait to take them off. Just a total no all around. I didn’t order anything else to exchange them, because after the way this pair felt, I didn’t think I could trust any description of the other slippers to be accurate.

Will not order from this company again.

I love my new slippers. Honestly, I’m so jaded by previously hopeful online purchases of slippers that touted arch support only to find, after a few trips around the house, that I’d purchased duds. So when I hit the send button to buy the Scarlett’s (In black with gray sheepskin) I wasn’t that hopeful.

Well, long story short, these beauties have kicked the slipper collection to the curb, so to speak. I wear them constantly and yes, these VERY supportive slippers have helped lessen the pain of osteoarthritis and for that I am very grateful and will buy again.

I’m curious to find out if replacement insoles are available so when I’m finished reviewing, I’ll have a look on the website. By the way, ordering was a snap and delivery was FAST!!!!!!.

I wanted to love the shoes. Very stylish and cozy and left like the shoes had good support. Purchased them for my plantar fasciitis. I wear a 6. 5 and purchased the 6. 5-7, but they were too short and my toes were cramped in the toe bed.

I exchanged them for a 7. 5-8 and these were way too big, flopping off my feet. scared I would fall down the stairs wearing them. I liked them so much I wanted to try another 6. 5-7 in case the first pair I received was a fluke, but the customer service person I spoke to said I couldn’t exchange them again.

I was really hoping to like Therafit brand and would have purchased additional shoes. but instead, I was charged $8 to return them, so I purchased orthotic shoes from another company.

I am usually a size 8. I ordered a size 9 because it said to size up one size. When I received the shoes they were too small. So I exchanged them for a size 10. Living overseas I had to pay for shipping back to the States and then again to have new shoes delivered to me.

That was about a third of the cost of the shoes. The size 10’s are also too small (narrow)! My heel comes slightly over the back edge and the front top of the slipper is too narrow for my foot to fit into smoothly.

I am a small man, 170 cms. My feet are not wide. I always buy normal width shoes and slippers. I am very disappointed because I was thinking of buying more shoes in the future. This will be the only pair I purchase from Kuru.

I have multiple pairs of many different styles of Kuru shoes. I buy them for the heel and arch support. I bought these to have the same support in a slipper. Part of my dissatisfaction is my own fault.

I ordered my regular shoe size and should have ordered larger. The top ridge that crosses the arches presses down uncomfortably and the back flap does not allow the foot to slide in easily or the slipper to be worn with socks without discomfort.

The sole is the same wonderful support! But order a larger size!!.

Love these. Originally bought a pair for my husband and he raved about them so much I had to order some for myself. They do exactly what they say they could. They are so comfy and the circulation is awesome!.

Best slippers ever. These do exactly what they said and I plan on getting another pair so when I wash the first I will not have to go without. I am purchasing more for gifts to my family as well.

Easy to put on, did not heat like add said and not enough tread on bottom. I am a diabetic with nuropothy and circulation is a major concern.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought these slippers because I need very good arch support and I wanted slippers I could slip on and off easily. Vionics are my go-to brand. I have foot issues so the only backless slippers I can keep on my feet are thongs, everything else slips off my foot.

These have a slight heal so I thought they’d be perfect. They truly are comfortable and have great arch support and are very cute. But unfortunately once i broke them in, I can’t keep it on my bad foot.

That’s not the fault of the slippers, though, so I’m giving them 5 stars. If these had a back strap or a slightly higher back, they would be my favorite slippers.

IšverstiShow in original languageI just received the Vionic Microfiber slippers with suede tassel. I ordered a 7 medium and it fit perfectly. The lining keeps your feet nice and warm. I would only need a light sock if I wanted to run out for the mail.

Nobody would take them as slippers so you could easily wear them out and about. The color is blue/navy. It is a beautiful rich color and will go nicely with your denim for sure. My feet love the support that Vionic gives them.

Noticed a difference right away and they have great traction so I can take the trash out, get the mail and not worry about slipping. I can only wear Vionics, I have so many but I know I will wear these daily.

I came back for at least one more pair!.

Does as it suppose to. Bit To cold when first put your feet in them so I wait till they’ve calmed down a bit and they do the trick. Good for hot feet that I’ve suffered with for years. So I’m very happy with them.

Bought a pair for my daughter as well but she can’t get away with them. So not for everyone I supose.

Bought two pairs one pair for my mother and a pair for the wife both very happy with then. Well made and delivered fast. keep them in the freezer as long as you like they will not freeze solid. Very simple product that as a great effect.

These are perfect for cooling my feet – I have psoriasis on the soles – the hot weather makes them worse – these slippers were a Godsend – Thank You

I could tell by the listing that these were exactly what I had been looking for, and for some time now as well. Very form fiting because of my high arches these fit extremely well. There are clearly well made.

I could see that in the pictures the seller has as reference. I’m not sure what the air bladder, (pushes up in the middle of your arch) is for or the why behind it. At first it was a wee little bit uncomfortable but after 10minutes that comfort issue melted away.

These slippers are very sturdy. I would suggest them for someone who needs to have a solid hard sole, perhaps someone who is older, or needs stability. Around the arch is tight, I have high arches and they are snug, but I hope the stretch out a little bit.

The band is Velcro, so you can make it slightly less tight, but it doesn’t give you much room. Arch support (for me) is great, toe box is wide, heel cup is supportive. This is a great slipper for someone who needs to wear a comfortable house SHOE.

However…. as a mom in her 40s, I think it’s a bit restrictive for me. I wear them barefoot because (even though I went with my size) the slipper is very tight straight out of the box. Also, with the thick sole, I feel like my steps on the hardwood floor are very clunky.

I will keep them, since I believe they will last quite a while, but if you don’t need a very sturdy and solid house shoe, look elsewhere.

I have used Vionic brand for many years and have always been satisfied. I still am except for the sizing issue. Do not believe it when you are told to order up half size if they do not carry half sizes.

I did and am truly sorry I did. I am 81 years old and can’t get out as much as I used to. Since forced to stay indoors, I have taken to wearing my Vionic slippers around the house all day. I have to order half size larger, but all that does for you is put your arch in a different place than what it is supposed to be.

This results in throwing your balance off. I have fallen twice during the past two weeks and cannot begin to tell you how many times I have caught myself before I could fall. It is a shame because they really have a good product.

VIONIC – make some adjustments and start to make more half sizes, especially in the wide sizing.

I received these yesterday and sadly had to return, not because of any inferior issues with the slipper, but I am a Slim/Narrow width for shoes, and a Narrow width is not offered. I wish QVC would offer narrow widths in shoes/slippers.

I was hoping the adjustable strap would compensate for the Medium width in this slipper, but it doesn’t. I do have the Vionic plush open toe slipper in Medium width and the strap adjusts so that I can get away with wearing that width.

I was hoping this closed toe would be the same, but it’s not. Vionic is a terrific brand with the orthotic included, which is what I need as I pronate. Please QVC start offering Narrow widths.

After years of wearing cosy but slab-footed fleece boots inside the house all winter, it is a joy to have some arch support and less plantar pain. Personally I can do without the Velcro tabs, and if I did need them I would want them on the instep or at least not so far around the outside that it took twisting and effort to do them up.

The whole point of slippers is to be easy to slip on (clue is in the name). Haven’t need to wash them yet, but I am glad to know that it is possible. Soles are robust enough to cope with brief outside forays if it is not too wet or muddy.

The slippers are very warm & comfortable. I often have very cold feet & these warm them quickly. The arch support perfect, I have had to cease wearing flat slippers as my feet ache severely. I also have a pair on slip ons with the arch support from this brand which I love but need a full slipper for winter.

This is my second pair of “Minnie Mouse” slippers. Haven’t really been a big slipper person before I got my first pair of these – kicked my shoes off at the door and walked around with barefoot. Now I actively look for my slippers from the minute my feet hit the floor in the morning.

Wore the first pair out – they were a great companion during lockdowns and was quiet sad when I came to the realisation that I needed a new pair. Was very excited to see they were still on the website – and I’ve even got them on whilst writing this review.

What is there to complain about when talking about these shelby black Aetrex slippers? I can’t find a thing there lightweight, warm, and with built in arch support there perfect for first thing out of bed comfort to help avoiding the dreadful barefoot to floor treatment our feet do not like.

If your looking for morning or bedroom slippers hurry and grab a pair of these before its too late!.

I’m extremely over pro-nated with flat feet. My podiatrist recommended slippers with an arch before surgery. Wearing these slippers is helping to correct my damaged feet. No other ortho shoe has helped like this.

Highly recommended.

These are perfect for my plantar faciitis! The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because they make my feet sweat. They are best for when the cold weather sets in.
