I give it one star because it does in fact allow water to get through it. Poor, random spray pattern, will waste tons of water, builds virtually no forceful jet or shower. I hope this one was defective, because if that’s how it was engineered, it’s the worst nozzle.

Looks nice but it took away any water pressure we had. All of the spray options were the same, water just spewed down like a hose on low without a nozzle.

Another review stated you needed high water pressure for this to work. I have decent water pressure and still got very poor performance out of this product. Poor marketing of this product. As far as i am concerned you need a pressure washer for this to work at all.

This is a must have for your hose. Adjustable everything and anything to high pressure deep spray to a light mist clean. I have bought 4 of these things so far and everyone loves them. These really allow you clean up the job and real nice and deep like style jobs to your basic rim job to get a spotless finish.

I’ve gone through my share of hose nozzles and spray handles. This nozzle doesn’t have all the fancy settings of the gun grip style nozzles but it is well made and will last a long time. The adjustment between fan and straight is easy and allows for lots of control in output, pressure, volume, and spread but also has a good amount of resistance so rotation mechanism won’t wear out any time soon and become loose.

The rubber grips are thick, easy to handle with wet hands, and will take plenty of drops and bumps. The on/off lever is not quite as robust and has snapped off one of the three I have after a hard drop.

However, the left side of the handle (which controls the internal valve) is still in tact allowing me to continue using that nozzle despite the broken handle. All in all a good value nozzle.

I had hoped it would give me a better long distance stream to rinse my solar panels. It does seem to flow more water than my other nozzle, that originally was a very small jet stream but I drilled it out larger.

This one will be good for washing the car as I can quickly change it from a wide spay to a narrow one, but it doesn’t have the distance for a concentrated stream. The shutoff mechanism works very easily.

I will still rely on my old one for the solar panels. But, at least this was only four bucks.

I like to use ones like this for car washing and driveway hosing. I have used one very similar in looks to this for a long time. I have only tested it but immediately saw that I did not like how abruptly it transitions from a cone patter to a distorted stream.

But, it is not a deal killer for me. I use a ball valve shutoff just ahead of nozzles like this so I don’t have to totally re-adjust the spray pattern each time I turn it on. This model does not have a built-in ball valve for doing that like my old one did.

That’s probably good since I found that one was a bit awkward to use so went to using a dedicated ball valve ahead of that nozzle anyway.

This is the best Nozzle ever!!! I bought my first one 18 to 20 years ago and just had to replace. The center piece broke off which was most likely my fault. I only bought one to confirm the design and quality was still the same.

Once again pleased with the product therefore will be buying more.

I have been using this hose nozzle for 7 years, it never leaks very durable and the best part, variable spray options! I actually have six of these nozzles because I love them so much! At the time I bought them they were not expensive however now they have gone up as people have discovered how good this product is! I highly recommend this hose nozzle go other users!.

Nifty little hose attachment for spraying some sudsy soap on the car, and rinsing it down. Depending on how dirty your car is, you might still have to scrub a bit. It’s a pretty weak flow with the detergent tank, so it’s just spraying the soapy water, not applying pressure to wash off grime and dirt.

Without the tank, it’s pretty much a standard hose sprayer gun with fan or focused spray modes. Again, the pressure isn’t much more than your regular hose attachment, so it isn’t really adequate for something a pressure washer could get done.

So for washing cars, this definitely makes the job a easier. But I was hoping I could use it for a bit heavier duty cleaning, and it’s just not up to the task.

How lucky am I that I was able to use this item in December in the Northeast! Mild weather allowed me to wash the car and spray down my garage door with this little cannon spray gun. It was simple to use.

Easily hooked up to my hose. Used the foam nozzle first. I added diluted soap to the bottle included, removed the sprayer nozzle and added the foam nozzle with the bottle. Washed the car with the foam soap, super easy and fast! Then I removed the foamer and bottle attached the spray nozzle and washed down my garage doors.

Love that you can adjust the flow of water with the throttle on the end. Its like a mini power washer. Cant wait to use it again!.

My husband and I have been very pleased with this product. It attached perfectly to our garden hose and was easy to put together. We used the Aqua Joe on our patio furniture, my daughters bikes and some outdoor toys before storing them away for the winter.

The foaming cannon produces a nice thick lather and works well with hard to reach spaces. Switching the nozzles is also very simple. There are two dials you can use depending on what kind of flow you want coming out.

We used the light rinse and it worked great. My husband is excited to use the Aqua Joe on the cars and house siding this spring. It is durable and I love that we are both able to use it on so many things.

This nozzle is incredible! Sends huge solid stream over 30 feet with my well water hose, so imagine it coming from a constant 80 to 100 psi water source. I do recommend this to anyone wanting to put large amount of water 30 to 35 feet away.

Also will adjust down to a fine mist with a twist of the nozzle. Looks and feels very durable and well made. This will easily still be around for a while unlike so many other hose sprayers that go to the trash by season’s end.

Bought a few of these nozzles for the strip clubs annual, “Clean Cars, Dirty Girls” car wash and they worked great! The high powered setting effectively removed a lot of the built-up dirt and filth that, on some, had probably been there for months.

While the lower setting was gentle enough that we were able to use it for the wet t-shirt contest later on that night. Oh and it helped with washing the cars too.

Works great for dogs. Some tips: dilute your dog shampoo with water. 1 to 1 ratio worked for me. This will work out of the box if you wash your pooch outside but if you want to do a bathtub wash you’re going to need some adapters from your hardware store.

The inside thread of this device is for garden hoses which is 3/4″ FNPT (female). The USA standard thread for your shower head hose is 1/2″ FNPT. I bought the following adapters and some plumbers tape: straight 3/4″ MNPT adapter (both sides are male).

Then a right angle 3/4 FNPT to 1/2″ MNPT (little side is male, big side is female). Use plumbers tape and attach them together and then into your foam cannon and hose. Use the existing gasket/rubber washer from the quick release adapter that came with the foam Cannon.

Gets used in a number of applications. I bought a second to have just in case it ever gets discontinued. Tomorrow I will be using it to wash reusable air conditioner filters and, with extended brush, to take algae off the front porch steps.

I will also use it to wash vinyl siding on same day. I used it day before yesterday to wash/disinfect/rinse traps. I use it to wash out/disinfect the 96 gallon trash can. And for whatever else jobs that come up where it is applicable.

It is a great unit that gets the jobs I need done, done. Good job, Harbor Freight, good job.

Will start with the cons, less than clear instructions as it relates to hose connector/s. That is the quick connector can be remove. One just has to work on it(back & forth), until it start moving freely; also you might want to add a rubber washer before use with a garden hose.

The other “con” which is more or less a wash with me, is the fact that you will use more soap vs the bucket method. The reason I am giving the second a pass, is due to the time savings (good 10-15 minutes per wash on an mid size car), and the quality of the wash, looking like it came from an automatic car wash.

Over all one of the hidden gems of Harbor Freight.

Great product, by far the strongest/most directed stream of water I’ve ever seen from such a product. For use with standard 3/4″ garden hose, unit is about 1. 5″ long/tall. The lowest setting could be a little too much volume for some delicate uses, like watering plants, etc.

but for heavy duty/volume jobs, there is no better nozzle out there. that being said I have used it to water most of my outdoor plants (nozzle on lowest setting and spigot barely open) but it takes a little practice and may still have too much power for delicate plants, but I also have high water pressure (-80 psi) so your mileage may vary.

Anyway, overall a great unit that will deliver a very powerful stream of water to the target, just not a wide fanned out spray. Very well made, high quality right here in the USA!.

Worked fine for the first two months then literally fell apart. I had to chase after 3 ball bearings and no matter how hard I or my friend tried neither of us could get the bearings reinstated in the hardware.

I have a dog kennel so the nozzle is used every day. I’m going to try the “Little Big Shot” next.

This is a fantastic power washer! In response to “Skinny” if you take the nozzle off the hose while in the close position, it can cause a vacuum seal and the insert can be suctioned onto the hose, causing the insert to pull out and then to release the ball bearing.

Simple fix: Always remove the nozzle from the house in the open position. Or put the insert back in, up to the ball bearing holes, add ball bearings, then push the insert in the rest of the way to hold the ball bearing in place.

I picked up one of these while shopping for other things. We must have half a dozen spray heads at the shop. I put one of these on and threw the rest away. No more dropping the hose and getting sprayed on the bounce.

I left the hose out one night and someone drove over the nozzle and broke it. My fault for leaving it out. I went to all the garden type places looking for one. Back at Autozone buying oil and filter there they were at check out.

I bought two and gave one to a friend. I’m going back for more to give to friends. They are that good.

Picked it up at the AutoZone in the check out line. Seemed a good idea to wash my patio set off before storage. Wrong! Nothing at all close to a hard spray. I can achieve the same with my thumb in the water flow.

Other reviews state better results, maybe I got the runt of the litter, LOL. Wasn’t expensive but principle, I will return this for sure.

While this is NOT a high pressure nozzel, for me, it works great for washing my vehicles. The problem with this nozzle is that the handle ALWAYS breaks off. It looks like it is attached on both sides, it is not.

However, I like them so much, and they are so inexpensive, that I buy a few at auto zone, and just toss them when they break.

Good company but inferior product. I had one of these nozzles many years ago & it lasted for decades but eventually wore out so I needed to replace it. I found these & bought 2. 1 never worked & the other failed after 10 days.

They just locked up & would no longer allow water out. Company sent a return tag after only 2 requests. Now I need to find an alternative. JB Tool did a great job. The product needs improvement.

Excellent alternative to having to turn off the hose at the faucet when filling watering cans etc or using standard spray nozzles. I bought 2 and put them on quick connect couplings with 1 that I trimmed off about 1/2 inch at the end so the water doesn’t come out with as much force and works great that way too.

Over the past 30 years, I had two nozzles like my new one. The last one juet started developing a ponhole spray after 20 years. I didn’t think I would be able to find another one after all these year, but I did.

The first thing you notice when you pick up this sprayer is the solid feel and well thought out rubber grip. When I hooked up my three-quarter inch hose to it, I got the most powerful blast of water that I ever have with a hose nozzle.

The spray is well controlled, and does not trip at all when shut off. This is definitely a well-made hose nozzle, I highly recommend it.

I have purchased similar looking nozzles that I was happy with. I bought two of these. This one looks great & costs less & if your looking for a low flow nozzle this would rate a #5. I gave it a #2 because it’s flow is so low that it takes a long time to blast the dirt off the bottom of my car.

I get the same result from a squirt bottle. They both are like this & will be in the garage sale this Spring.

The nozzle itself seemed sturdy however not at all as pictured therefore causing the need to return to store. Even the clerk at Cust Serv wondered what the extra piece was. Too complicated for such an inexpensive piece.

No reason why WM can’t take a tiny bit of xtra time to clearly explain what they sell.

I love this nozzle so much, I don’t know how I lived without it for so long! It ‘s so easy & comfortable to use. It works great from soaking my hanging baskets to washing my dogs. There is a fine mist all the way to the right that is perfect for watering my still growing herbs.

And the high velocity setting is great for washing my dirty car after my husband “mans it up. ” I love that it has a Lifetime Warranty. I use mine so much, evidently I wore the orings out (opps! lol) But I just called them up and they sent me a kit that day that stopped the leaking.

I have arthritis in my hands and fingers, so many nozzles are a nightmare to use. I’ve switched to the ones with a lever but they haven’t been long running. So I thought I couldn’t lose trying yet another style.

This is great. Only been using for a few weeks. But besides comfort level, the strongest setting really is like a mid level power wash. The other settings are also slightly different, and work better, like the soaker.

No more spraying soil out of the pot.

Screws on to hose easily and doesn’t leak. Strong flow and easy to change. Made from Strong materials that last a long time. I bought this nozzle many years ago at a Home show. It has lasted for years.

I looked around on the net and ordered from Houzz. Original was black but. now colors are available and design has been updated.

Great so far. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been great. I love the ability to shut off the water flow with both the turn of the nozzle or the bail. That way I can keep a setting and shut the water off if I want to.

It easily adjusts from full off/close to a super fine mist to a jet at the twist of the wrist. The rubber is nice and durable, while keeping paint protected if you use it to wash the car, and get it too close to the paint than planned.

The only concern I have is that the bail might eventually snap if it gets brittle, but so far it’s been perfect. Time will tell, but right now, I really like this nozzle and you likely will too.

I absolutely love the Little Big Shot Adjustable nozzle. It is versatile, compact, and high quality. What I love most is the way these spray patterns enable me to perform virtually any watering or clean-up job.

It helps that it is made in the USA, and I LOVE that disabled veterans are the ones who work to make these available.

I work at a water treatment facility, industrial environment, with hoses everywhere. The nozzles we use are typically not adjustable and some may be worn. This is an adjustable nozzle I can carry in that little change pocket found in most jeans, and I’ve never had issues with the components failing.

I only buy a replacement if I lose them. The brass can be polished to an almost original shine using ketchup and baking soda. It has become my favorite nozzle to use with standard ‘garden hose’ lines.

I attached the Little Big Shot Super Nozzle to a 5/8 inch / 50 feet long garden hose. I was surprised by the performance. It’s like 25-50% of the power of a car wash power sprayer, making it far more powerful than a typical lawn spray nozzle.

It’s like owning a cheap power washer. TIP: The SHORTER / LARGER DIAMETER the hose, the more performance you will obtain with this nozzle. Those expandable / retractable garden hoses may be handy, but, they lack the pressure of 5/8 inch garden hose.

Ordered this Gilmour brand nozzle Jun 27, 2020. Delivered it only a few days. First used it a about a week later. The third time I used it was a few months later, when it broke at the top if the threads.

Needless to say, it was a bug disappointment. Used this type of nozzle very often for heavy commercial use for years, with no problem. But this brand was a waste of time and money. Won’t by anything by this brand ever again!.

Gilmore classic. copied by many Gilmore has had this design around for 50 years. it’s said that copying your work is a form of flattery. Well made still, just like the originals decades ago. If I had a ‘wish list’.

I would suggest the knurled adjustment knob be a bit larger for easier grip while adjusting. but it’s been that way for. you guessed it. decades. We have tons of hose nozzles that do all sorts of things.

this classic Gilmore is always my favorite for general yard work, car washing, walkway sweeping, general landscape watering. then I have another favorite for delicate planting bench application. you see, this classic nozzle won’t do a fancy ‘shower’ pattern which is preferred in seedlings.

The first time I used this it was great. Worked perfectly. Easy for my kids to use because of the sliding mechanism instead of a trigger. Second time I went to use it (a few days later) it was leaking where it attaches to the hose and from where I turn it to change the spray type.

It comes with a second rubber O-ring seal. Changed it and it still leaks.

I love that there are 8 dials to choose for water flow. The on/off switch is easy to move. The handle is very sturdy. Enjoyed using it on everything from washing my car to hosing down outdoor furniture and porch.

Worth the price paid.

My grandson picked it out and it is a great choice. You select the spray pattern you want and then move the lever to adjust the pressure. No squeezing the trigger the entire time you want the water on!.

My mother (a pro garden designer) mentioned how much she loved this, and I got to use hers, and was equally impressed! The thumb-activated valve is FANTASTIC, and way easier to control and use for long periods than the traditional squeeze-handle type nozzle.

The construction is hard plastic body with a nice rubberized handle for easy grip even when wet. The hose attachment point is metal with a good solid washer, and doesn’t leak when attached properly to the hose.

There’s literally nothing bad to say about this spray nozzle. It’s exactly what I wanted. Perfect!.

This is the most beautiful hose sprayer I have ever seen and I love how substantial it feels. I like that it’s metal, not plastic or that cheap chrome painted metal that chips off. I also like how with a slight twist of the nozzle, you can easily adjust the stream of water to accommodate your task without having to run through 10 settings to get to the one you think will work, and I like that it came with two extra rubber washers.

However, we have very hard water and am hoping it is more durable than any of our previous faucet handles, but only time will tell. At this time, it is my absolute favorite.

This is an excellent product for cleaning cars but it’s also good for clean up jobs around the exterior of the house (patio furniture, siding, concrete patio slab) It’s a great alternative to using a pressure washer which is a huge pain to set up plus it’s so noisy! This foam gun is very easy to use.

It includes two great attachments…a sponge and a brush. The BEST feature in my opinion is the trigger lock! It saves your trigger finger from pain! This feature in and of itself stands out to me as such an elite feature on this product.

When it is engaged your finger is spared any cramping or pain that so often accompanies jobs using any spraying apparatus. This simple feature is a HUGE WIN! I would recommend running a little bit of clean water after each use to prevent the nozzle from clogging.

I really like my Aquajoe Foam Cannon. It comes with everything I need to clean up surfaces around my house. I really appreciate the multiple attachment heads for different jobs. The spray nozzle is nice for use as an impromptu pressure washer for my deck and my house siding.

I like the bristle brush and sponge brush attachments for cleaning my car. The brush is just firm enough to help loosen up mud and bird droppings, but the bristles flex easily to scratch up my car’s finish.

It also does a great job on my car’s tires: Perfect for getting all that winter gunk off so it doesn’t rust my undercarriage. The tank does a great job mixing up detergent for spraying a nice thick lather.

I can just put in a little bit of Dawn soap and make enough foam to clean off my entire car. Overall, I’m very satisfied.

I have been looking for a garden nozzle with cannon spray for a long time and I finally found this product! This product is very convenient and easy to use. The instructions are self explanatory. This product is very useful for car wash – you can spray the foam and use the garden nozzle to clean the car with very strong high water pressure.

The first one that I bought worked perfectly, but the second one was defective (the misting function didn’t work – it would do something strange that I would not call misting). I took the second one back to my local Ace, and the manager had me exchange it for another one.

The replacement worked well. This is a good hose nozzle: no drips, is sturdy, and has a good variety of spray patterns.

Replacement nozzle needed so decided to try Ace brand. Very satisfied with my purchase & it has enough spray patterns to meet garden needs.
