20 Best Horseradish Sauce For Prime Rib (2023 Updated)

We LOVE this horseradish sauce! Not too hot, but just right, and nice and creamy. Great on a roast beef sandwich. Only one question – that I already asked Walmart about – why is it listed as NUCITA TRISABOR Horseradish Sauce when it is actually WOEBER’S Horseradish Sauce? Checking google It looks like “Nucita Trisabor” is a type of candy/sweet spread? Someone at Walmart really made a mistake when listing this item LOL.

They would probably sell more if buyers knew the correct name!.

I added this to Thousand Island salad dressing to make an onion ring dip. I highly recommend doing that, as it tastes like a very well-known restaurant’s fried onion treat that way. This horseradish sauce is so good! A little goes a long way though, as it is spicy.

I love it, and I’m glad I ordered it. Now I just need to find some recipes with horseradish so I can use more of it up.

This is ok, it’s weak. It is definitely the sauce it says it is, flows freely. I expected to use it on hotdogs but it requires too much in order to taste it and it simply flows off. I’ll need to buy something thicker.

It’s probably great for hamburgers or some sandwich.

I wanted a jar of Holiday Jam. However being cheap, I knew that if I bought $65 worth of product, shipping would be free. So I tried a variety of items. The Cranberry Horseradish sauce was so delicious, I ordered another 4 after Thanksgiving.

I use it on everything. It’s a creative combo of great tastes. It’s a winner. BTW: All products are wonderful.

I have been using the cranberry horseradish four at least the last six years, I put it on sandwiches and any time I cook a turkey or ham or beef. This is the best tasting stuff to brighten up anything.

I have a recipe for something very similar to this which we have loved for years. But now that I’ve found this already made, it’s a no brainer. This is excellent served on cream cheese with crackers – delish.

Conditional on star rating. 1. Title “Nucita Trisabor” was not known to be on the item. 2. The item in question, horseradish sauce, was unusably hot and could only be thrown away. Factory malfunction of process or judgement.

(However, as the item is long gone, and only its forefather remains, identical appearance but great taste, I must be conditional in this overlong review. ).

Delivery On This Item Took Exactly 20 Hours After Ordering! Can’t Beat That Unless You Go To The Store Yourself! I have used this item previously and it is a nice alternative to fresh horseradish. It is not quite as hot but still has a bite to it.

Very convenient squeeze bottle so no mess and you can’t beat the price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product along with Wal-Mart Delivery Service!.

This spread is stronger than Horseradish Aioli which had become my favorite sandwich spread. Our daughter ordered this and told me to try it. It is spicier than the aioli, but not if you like horseradish.

We have enjoyed it on locally-made bratwurst cooked on the grill! Absolutely perfect!.

I didn’t get a chance to try it – my husband, who likes spicier food than I, tried it and drew back in surprise. We weren’t expecting cream sauce to be so hot. It’s usually milder than using plain horseradish.

So disappointed.

I wanted to know if this sauce had as much kick as described on the product & if you’re after a kick this won’t disappoint. This sauce is certainly fire hot! If you love a kick to the taste buds this is definitely for you.

Only a tiny amount is needed to have an impact. I personally found the sauce overpowering & although I love a kick to my food I felt this kicked to hard to fast. Although there’s no long lingering after taste, the heat hits the mouth instantly, but I felt it took away the flavour of the food.

I had a modest amount of this horse radish with classic roast beef with all the trimmings. I also tried to see how a thin layer would be on a beef sandwich, some how diluted with the bread, this was still to over powering for me.

The whole family gave this a go, my kids were reluctant (at 10 & 14 they are fussy!) but they didn’t like it. My partner is always willing to try new things and enjoyed the kick but only had it on a couple of potatoes before he felt it was taking away from the taste of the meal.

Colmans make a good quality horseradish sauce. I’m a horseradish sauce lover and found colmans horseradish sauce to be a strong but not overpowering flavour. Colmans horseradish sauce is an Instant mouth watering sensation which really brought my food to life with a few small pieces in the blend to create a lovely texture.

It complimented my roast beef beautifully and also combined with cold chorizo made a wonderful quick snack. I have also on a number of occasions added colmans horseradish sauce to my mashed potato to give it a bit of a kick which was delicious, so I then added colmans horseradish sauce to my gravy which was a very good idea which I would recommend everyone give it a try.

To be honest I’ve never tried horseradish sauce as an adult until now. The only memory I have of it as a child was being given it as a taster on a sedar plate at Sunday school and the experience scared me for life.

It’s was burny hot and all I could taste for days after was that! Colemans horseraddish sauce is great. It’s smooth and creamy but not oily as some sauces can be. It has a kick to it and delivers heat but doesn’t burn or over power everything else on your plate.

We’ve tried it with Sunday dinners, Yorkshire puddings and even in sandwiches. As I’ve never bought it my family hadn’t had it either but it will now be a Sunday dinner staple!.

Delicious!! Just tried this. It is great on a sandwich instead of mayo. I also use it as a dip for many food items like, shrimp, potato chips, corn chips, carrot sticks, raw brocolli. Ideas are never ending!!.

As I make my own homemade cocktail sauce weekly, I am very picky about the horseradish sauce I use. I want something zippy and snappy. Kraft’s is thick, fresh tasting and full of flavor. ( I do however, add a bit of Cayenne and lemon juice for more zest.

) Great for Tartar sauce as well. Wonderful with my fried shrimp!.

Love adding this sauce to tuna sandwich spread, or roast beef sandwiches, or grilled hamburgers. adds enough zing to enhance the sandwich proteins chosen. I keep it in stock in my refrigerator. perfect sauce.

Wasn’t sure how many stars to give as I had missed seeing on-line that it had to be refrigerated. I don’t open any packages for several days due to covid and when I opened these, they were warm so I tossed all three jars out not knowing if it would be good.

Nothing on the package said that they had to be refrigerated either. I hate wasting food (and money). Most sad.

Not for the faint of heart!!! Hottest horseradish I have ever tried. Start with just a tiny bit and add more to get your heat level right. It will clear your sinuses!

This is extremely hot but mellows slightly once opened and getting some exposure to air. I would recommend mixing it with sour cream or mayo. I’m vegan, so will use vegan options to do this. Too bad you have to buy three jars at a time.

It will take me a long time to get through them all. You must refrigerate, so I can’t speak to the product’s shelf life in the frig.

I found it overall to have a very pleasant flavour, slightly overpowering if used too much but just a teaspoon did the trick and gave just the right amount of flavour so I could still taste the flavour of the beef alongside it.

The consistency was just thick enough but I did find it slightly bitty but edible. The jar is just the right size and displays allergy advice and ingredients clearly and they are easy to identify. I used it to accompany my beef Sunday dinner and it was perfect sauce for that dinner and also with beef sandwiches the following day.

Overall I would definitely recommend and i definitely will buy colemans horseradish sauce again.

I haven’t tried this for quite a few years and I was surprised at how the taste had disappeared from my memory. The sauce was so spicy and tangy, I had forgotten just how much, I am sure they have put extra spices inside.

The texture was that similar to coleslaw, very crunchy and smooth at the same time. The after heat I felt was good too. Not too over powering and just right in my steak sandwich. I would highly recommend trying this with a large Sunday roast or even as I did in a sandwich with a medium rare steak.

Definitely off to buy more.

This is the most disgusting product I have ever tasted. Not only does it taste bad but it smells horrible. I would not recommend this to be used on ANY food. I will never buy this again and never will I try any type of horse radish.

Beaver Brand horseradish is my favorite, aside from making my own from horseradish root, and what a literal pain that can be! I’ve always kept a jar of this in my fridge, and sometimes cook pork roasts, just so I can eat with Beaver Brand horseradish.

Great heat when you first open, and the first few spoonfuls, but the heat does fade over time.

This is my favorite horseradish. My husband likes it of fresh or baked oysters. I love it because it has a really strong flavor. I love it when we make homemade cocktail sauce with ketchup and Beaver Horseradish, I love the burn in your sinuses, it is almost like a backward brain freeze from drinking a favorite frozen beverage.

I put it on baked potatoes or anything I can think of. It is really hard to find because it is the next thing from grating the horseradish yourself.

Needed Horseradish sauce for dinner party Christmas 2021! Went to Walmart as they always have a variety. Well that day the only item on the shelf was this Great Value. Had No Choice and took the three bottles on the shelf.

We had always purchased the ones costing $4 and up, but we were desperate! Turns out our fears were totally lost when we tasted the flavor on our Holiday Egg Salad. By the end of the evening all three bottles were empty and the compliments kept coming in the following days.

This sauce is excellent, but the packaging? The bottle manufacturer factory must be run by a sadistic mad scientist!! I tried to remove the cap, in order to access the seal so that I could — get this — use the horseradish sauce.

I tried so hard to lefty-loosey it off but, not being The Incredible Hulk, could not get it to budge. I tried using a kitchen towel to get a better grip, but, nope! I then dug pliers out of my toolbox, applying them with all the strength this disabled, 60-something could muster, but again, nope.

My daughter decided it was time to intervene, before I broke my wrist. Mustering all her strength, while using the pliers, she managed, finally, to twist the cap off. Hooray! Next, I attempted to open the seal, using one of those “peel and lift” tabs on the seal.

Well, that worked. I was finally able to pry apart the edge if the printed tab, and lifted it right off. Right off the seal. My daughter fetched fir me the next tool in my horseradish sauce bottle opening arsenal, a fork.

I stabbed the seal and attempted to use the fork as a lever, to get the seal off, but nope! The fork was only able to tear a piece of the seal. I had to use my fingers and teeth to get (most of) the seal off.

This has a decent flavor, but is too runny. I compare it to my favorite brand (Kraft). Kraft is the best for horseradish sauce (like you get with Arbys roast beef sandwiches). Kraft is also a tad sweeter, but humanity could do well with less sugar in everything these days.

When Kraft brand was not always in stock during pandemic shortages, thats when I opted to try a store brand. It served its purpose as a temporary substitute.

Nice and hot! Works beautifully in my blue cheese dressing to kick it up a notch! And the little jars, cleaned up, tops painted, make the cutest containers for paper clips, hair ties, pins, buttons, etc.

Have even repurposed for selling! Love this stuff and I really appreciate that its in a glass jar! Horseradish can leach plastic, so glass is way better!.

I’m from Wisconsin and grew up with Silver Spring horseradish. IMHO this is what horseradish is supposed to taste like. It has just the right amount of heat and always is fresh.

THE best horseradish sold in my state. You can get better in Colorado, but not in Arkansas. I wish it were easier to find IN the store though. They move it a LOT. To the person who wrote this is not hot enough because you like your hot sauce hot.

Well, this is not hot sauce! It is really good ground course horseradish!.

When I was growing up we always made our own horseradish. This is as close to homemade as you can get, without the tears of grinding the horseradish. Great to use fresh out of the jar or make your own sauces by mixing it with other condiments.

Must be kept refrigerated but has a long life in the refrigerator. One of the best brands out there.

I have a reputation for great cocktail sauce and am often asked to bring it to parties. I have never tasted any horseradish that is as great as this. The taste is sharp and fresh. That said, it has been almost impossible for me to find.

I bought it in Williamstown and have not been able to find it again. Store should re-stock this product PRONTO! It would have been nice to have it for my holiday dinner.

This is hot stuff. I bought it for two friends who said they had never had horseradish they thought was too hot. They ate their words! Of course, once you open it, it will begin to lose some of that fire.

To just let it sit in the fridge and it will be o. k.
