20 Best Home Remedy For Stuffy Nose (2023 Updated)

This is by far the most effective nasal spray I’ve found. I’ve only bought it once and now it’s no longer stocked?!? Please bring it back, it helps me clear my passageways and actually sleep at night.

🙁 The other Xylitol spray Target has isn’t nearly as good. I have year-round allergies, sinusitis, and sinus headaches. The relief this spray brings is nothing short of a miracle. I also do twice-daily sinus rinses with saline and xylitol packets.

It’s easy to overuse this spray though – once or twice a day is good, and any more gives me headaches.

It really works! For allergies I prefer the non-medicated Xlear (this one you can’t use long-term but the unmedicated you can!), but for colds, nothing compares to this. I was so congested last time I had a cold, I couldn’t even sleep.

This gave me my sleep back which allowed my immune system to do its job. Highly recommend this product!.

This wonderful honey product works great at keeping germs and pollen from going deep into your sinus passages. It also smells so good! Dont put a lot in your nostrils during the day. Gravity I put it on at night usually for allergies.

I am totally in love with Cold Bee Gone! I have horrible allergies this time of year! I use it in the morning and before bedtime. It helps so much! I have tried it a couple times. It seems to make me feel better. However the tube I received is mostly empty. I tried very hard to squeeze a little bit of oil out of it. I double it would give me 6 doses at all.

The description says it should contain 100 doses. Disappointed.

My 3 year old CRIES when I put these in so I rarely ever do but sometimes he’s got a stubborn booger I need to get loose or has just had a bloody nose (which he gets sometimes in his sleep) and so I thought these were helping out.

I would always just tell him to stop crying, that the rest of the family uses saline sprays/drops and it’s not that bad. Well I couldn’t find my saline spray so I decided to just grab my son’s and use a couple drops.

HOLY MOLY THIS BURNS!!! I used it about 20 minutes ago and still have a burning sensation in both my nose and throat! No wonder the poor kid cries when I put them in! I feel awful! This is NOT at all what saline drops/spray should feel like.

I checked to make sure they weren’t expired and that’s not the case and I’m sure we didn’t just “get a bad batch” because this has been the brand I’ve purchased for over 3 years now and it’s always been the same thing with him.

This is a definite must have for parents. I always get this for baby shower gifts because I loved having it so much. When my daughter was born she had a clog in her sinuses and this is what her doctor recommended.

It helped so much. Any time she was stuffed up we used it and it worked so well. Now she’s 9 and we still keep it on hand. It works for so many things. We have it in our emergency kit to help clean off cuts.

This product is a holy grail must have item if you have children under the age of 5 in your home. I find that kiddos over 5 do well with Little Remedies Sterile Saline Drops/Spray, but of course can still use this sale mist as well too, it’s all personal preference.

My one year old has been sick on and off for the past two months with ear infections, sinus infections and RSV. I use the Nose Frida to help clear his nose, since he’s too little to understand how to blow it yet (which is also a holy grail mama must have in my opinion).

However, the pressure of suctioning his nose would cause him pain with the ear infections/sinus infections. Our pediatrician recommended using saline nose spray/drops prior to using the nose frida. The idea was that it would loosen up the mucus/snot so it would suction out easier and with less pressure.

We tried the spray along with the drops, however it was near impossible to get him to lay back to get the saline where we needed it to go. We’d have to pin him down, which would cause hysterical crying, which then led to mucus, which then led to hyperventilating and then vomiting(which naturally would always occur right after giving him his meds 🤦🏻‍♀️).

He didn’t scream like usual and we were able to suction his nose much better then before win half the amount of tears. We were even able to use the nasal saline mist while he was asleep without him waking up.

It’s best to have these types of things on hand and ready prior to our little ones being sick. I will be sure to always have an extra saline nasal mist on hand for colds, flus and I’m told they help with seasonal allergies as well.

Bought this product because I developed a head cold. Lots of congestion and stuffy nose. This product says to use at the first sign of a cold. Unfortunately I did not realize I was coming down with something until I was congested.

This product works amazing. I don’t know for sure that it actually helps reduce the length of colds, but when I used it I could feel the product working. It honestly actually burned my nose a bit and then I could breathe easier.

Ive been using Zicam nasal spray for 22 years, since my son was in preschool. It has without fail lessened my colds. I don’t travel without it and keep a bottle on hand at all times. I carry the little tubes in my purse and keep them in my desk at work.

I use Natrabio allergy tablets and find them very helpful. In dealing with a cold and extreme nasal congestion I tried this nasal spray and have found it quite helpful as well. I like that I can use it every 4 hours during the day and I keep it by my bedside to use during the night as well.

I have used this nose spray every day for a couple years. I swear it helps with your immune system. Use it a couple times a day to clear out your nose. Havent had the flu or sinus infections in YEARS!

I tend to struggle with sinus pressure and headaches. I’ve tried a lot of stuff to help ease my pain and discomfort, but nothing seems to help much. Based on the reviews for this product I thought I may have found a winner.

I don’t like saline drops. They are too hard to use when baby already is head shy because of a sore nose. Even harder when you’ve done one side and baby is screaming from discomfort. I didn’t notice much change is congestion either.

I always look for the most natural and safest way to deal with my sinus issues. This spray is great at decongesting which I really need. Since I can’t take the over the counter decongestants for health reasons finding this spray was a relief!.

I was using a brand I bought while in Montreal and it worked great. I’m almost out so decided to order something that would be easier to get so I tried this SinuFix. I was using one I bought while on a trip in Canada. when I got back home, I was starting to run out and I couldn’t easily find the same brand. So I tried this one. and it didn’t work at all, never unclogged my nose.

I then searched high and low online for the other brand from Canada because it actually worked. So this one was a waste of my money because it didn’t do what it’s supposed to unfortunately.

I have purchased this product for years and given it to friends. The formula was altered and it burnt my nose. I called the manufacturer tech and was told that too much alcohol was put in by mistake but they would not do anything to stand behind the product directly.

I had purchased 8 bottles. The distributor would only credit the 7 unopened bottles. No one would pick up the shipping change both ways. I thought they should have. i went a couple of years before buying the product again.

It is back the original formula.

Ordered 2 bottles and both had defective nozzles. The product just flowed out the sides, and did not spray at all. The same happened with ordering from Amazon, so I either had really bad luck, or, the company has a quality control problem.

I have terrible allergies in Spring and Fall, and this has helped me get things under control, in combination with Flonase and Zyrtec. I usually use this first thing in the morning, as a “primer” to clear up any congestion or dryness.

Then I take my daily dose of F & Z, and then keep this handy to supplement throughout the day, when congenstion kicks in, or when my dry cough starts up. My cough used to be uncontrollable, especially at night (a nightmare for both me and my partner), but now I know to get a dose of Xlear before going to sleep, and I keep it at my bedside if I feel the cough coming on in the middle of the night.

I now sleep much better through allergy season. I’ve tried a few other saline sprays, and I prefer the nozzle and fine mist of Xclear, rather than those that squirt the saline up your nose and end up dripping.

I have also tried using this on its own, without the other meds, and it definitely does NOT do the trick by itself. However, it’s a great sidekick to my medicated artillery of allergy suppressants. My only gripe with this product is that it’s overpriced for what it is, and I wish the bottle was glass and perhaps a bit larger, esp for the price.

I have been suffering with daily headaches for 8 years. They are not migraines, but some weirdo headache. I tried Sinol about 2 years ago and it did not help much. I think I did not follow the directions properly.

I tried it again recently and it is a life safer. With my daily headaches, I only take aspirin or tylenol. With Sinol, I can take less of the aspirin and tylenol and my headaches seem to be improving.

I was excited to have this product in my supply closet since it is back to school season, followed shortly by flu season. It just so happened that my 2 year old started a runny nose and cough the day this arrived.

I did apply it as instructed. Before I used it on her, I tested it on my own skin and a small test on her skin to see if there were any reactions. It tingles on the skin slightly and has a really nice smell, not overwhelming (no Vicks chest rub).

She liked it when I rolled it on her skin and I think while she was feeling yucky and couldn’t take any real medicine (like adults can), it helped her feel cared for. I’m new to using essential oils and this was a great entry point. It’s easy to use since you just roll it on to the skin, no diluting or mixing necessary. I have a 5 year old and 2 year old, the 2 year old in particular has sensitive skin.

This was light going on and didn’t give his skin any trouble. We have been waking up with seasonal allergy symptoms and this does help clear the chest and nose (I even used it on myself). I put it on my kids wrist, back of the neck, and chest (they loved putting it on since it tickled!).
