20 Best Home Remedy For Stomach Ache (2023 Updated)

I started having issues with stomach pain/acid reflux after I had my first child around 6 years ago, not sure if it is a coincidence or not. If you struggle with this, you know how uncomfortable is when your stomach is tender, bloated and you can’t move in bed because of pain.

I’m all about teas as a first attempt make things right, then when it’s not possible, I jump into acid reducer pills to fix things quickly. This is a fantastic tea! Great ingredients, quality, taste and health benefits after only one cup.

When I feel my stomach is not right, I make a cup right away and that solves my issue almost immediately. It doesn’t matter if its early morning or late night, this won’t affect your sleep because it is caffeine free.

The little encouraging quotes on the tea bag are also great and somewhat helpful. Be sure to steep this for longer than your ordinary tea. Packaging recommends 7 minutes. I recommend NOT using boiling water like the package says.

You don’t want to boil and burn the nutrients in them. I also find the flavor steeps faster if I use hot (not boiling!) water. I do this with all my healthy teas. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who struggles with stomach issues.

The concept seems great so we were excited to support this company and purchase this product. However the containers are so difficult to open even following the instructions pushing on the corner of the lid with the arrow / indentation that we do not plan to use them once the medicine runs out.

Neither of us has arthritis or any hand issues. These are more difficult to open than any Rx bottles or drugstore containers we have used before so just know that before buying these.

I love the idea of this, but can’t justify paying 0. 40 usd per pill versus 0. 08. I live with dairy-lovers and often take 2-6 per day though, so monthly that’s $10/mo versus $49. I guess if you only take 1-2 a week that might make sense, but it frustrates me when it clearly doesn’t cost that much to manufacture and the cost is exorbitant.

I guess I’ll keep buying in bulk recyclable packaging at my local warehouse store until I find a more affordable alternative.

I do like the taste. If you have diarrhea, several uses may be needed during the upset. Sometimes it’s a crapshoot – sorry for the language. Overall it does work for the stomach aches. There isn’t any else over the counter that matches the effect – the other pink product is so bad that the taste is just awful.

I hope Kaopectate continues to make this flavor and multi use medication. Please do not give any weight to the negative review. No, this is not like eating Breyers Vanilla Ice Cream, or anything else comparable.

You need this oil for your hair! I struggle with fine, dry, frizzy (thanks humidity) hair! I apply this either when wet or before apply heat to my hair. It is so lightweight and really helps hydrate my damaged hair.

It also adds a beautiful shine to your hair. Its safe enough that I also use it on my toddlers wirey/curly hair and it leaves it super soft. Also contains keratin!.

Worked much better than Gas-X. My boyfriend who has Crohn’s disease also uses these and we have found they work for both of us. If you’re constantly eating gassy foods and think these are going to help as a cancellation, I don’t think that’s how these are meant to work.

These can only do so much, and if you’re having bigger issues than I would probably change your diet or see a doctor. For the people saying they don’t last more than a week: Well if you’re needing to take these daily, then go see a doctor.

I’m pretty sure these are not meant to be taken every single day. This bottle should last a lot longer than that. My boyfriend and I would recommend these as a more natural remedy instead of taking over the counter meds such as Gas-X.

For reference, we don’t eat gassy foods often as we know what will trigger what. If we do, we’re not pounding down gassy foods and think taking Hilma will be a saving grace. We’ve gone through almost two bottles in about a year span.

I found the recommended dose of two pills at once quite harsh on my stomach. Did get gas relief, but also stomach cramps and burning throat from I think the anise (licorice flavor). Tried just one pill and results were better.

In the end, felt like bloating was getting worse, and quit taking the pills. Guess what? My stomach has been so much calmer without them. Am going to return to plain peppermint tea in future. Something in these pills makes my situation worse.

My second question is (this is strictly for humorous purposes), does anybody ever really use the dosing cup that comes with the bottle or do they all end up underneath people’s beds/sofas? Perhaps. as a child. you found that Pepto Bismol was VERY helpful for an upset stomach. These Bismuth preparations DEFINITELY can be. but MOST of them contain Aluminum. and many of us–through the years have learned that this element is probably one we don’t want to ingest, if we can help it.

As it happens a check of the research will show that there is some evidence that Al is a neurotoxin. This product is one (of only a few) that DOES NOT contain the worrisome element. which makes it a winner.

As generic Pepto Bismal goes this does the trick for a more affordable price. The caps don’t stay on as well, their inner lining in the cap often falls out or gets stuck to the bottle’s opening, this in turn can lead to some leakage.

Switched to Equate when Pepto changed their recipe in 2019 (or whenever they recently did it) since I can’t use it due to the fake sugars causing nausea and upset stomach to get worse. I got this because I get motion sickness easily, whenever I travel long places in a car, windy roads, on the airplane. As I got older, it’s gotten much worse for me. Dramamine makes me very sleepy and I wanted an alternative that provides me relief without making me want to go to sleep.

I also gave some to my Mom since she was taking medication for chemotherapy, maybe because chemo was very strong, this did not work as well for her. She still felt a little bit of relief but was still nauseated and needed to take a prescription medication to help her calm down nausea.

The upspring lemon ginger honey flavored drops are a delicious alternative to stomach medicine. I’ve never had a lot of stomach problems but sometimes when I do, they are pretty intense and I’m always taking medicine.

I’m not a big fan of chalky chews that leave a bitter aftertaste in order to get immediate stomach relief so I tried these and was pleasantly surprised that they had a decent taste and did not leave a horrible after taste.

I also like that the drops come in a bag and are individually wrapped so they are perfect for on the go as well. They dissolve in your mouth and have a mild ginger taste which I’m thankful for because ginger tends to be overpowering in a lot of things.

As for effectiveness, they worked great. I had a terrible upset stomach after eating a heavy greasy meal out and within a few minutes I was no longer nauseated and it also helped with the bloating feeling and resolved the gas issues.

Yuck, shame on me for not reading the reviews, but shame on you for not stating that this product was made in China. Although I did notice that if items are made in the USA you don’t hesitate to add that.

Does that mean that all your products not labeled made in USA are not? And probably cheap Chinese garbage? This is why people hesitate to buy from small companies. If you aren’t up front with these little things what bigs are you not telling the truth about?.

There was loose salt in the cap on all three tubes when opened. The tube package is poorly designed for the size of the coarse salt granules. More have fallen out as I have carried them in my pocket.

Also it’s very difficult to open , not clear directions or graphics or perforation on the tube, almost had to use pliers to twist open to tear the perforation and I’m a man with a strong grip. Also should be made in USA, not China, for a litany of reasons.

I got these as a “do you want these for $5”, so of course I did. I have a lot of stomach issues related to medications I take. I had been huffing peppermint oil every time it happened, but that can be a bit extreme if it is a long run thing.

This blend is certainly gentler than that, has a delightful (to me) scent, and the handy inhaler means I can take it with me.

I find this product to be very effective in addressing my gut issues. It mixes well in warm filtered water, and I take it every morning with a quality collagen and vitamin C powder. I also throw in a teaspoon of pure magnesium powder, for good measure.

I don’t know if Up & Up changed their recipe for this, but it’s awful. I took it for mild heartburn and woke up at 2 am with a heaving reflex. Like I would have vomited in my sleep. It tasted different from what I remembered and luckily I had a bottle of real Pepto Bismol in stock.

The taste difference is very obvious. Up & Up tasted like pure, gluey sugar. The sweetness of it was strange. Side by side, the liquid doesn’t coat the clear bottle like the Pepto Bismol liquid does.

It wasn’t always like this. I will not be buying this off brand product in the future.

Seems to work ok like the name brand but tastes way worse. So as long as you can choke it down it works. It also seems really runny. I will pay the extra dollar or two for name brand next time.

The flavor isn’t bad I just hate how chalky these are. They stick to your teeth and it’s just not a good feeling. They are more convenient to take than swallowing a pill if you don’t have anything to drink.
