20 Best Hearing Aid Batteries Size 10 (2023 Updated)

I had honestly never thought about hearing aid batteries. Then my husband got his first set of hearing aids. They were basic and he used generic batteries that I purchased from the hearing aid company.

Then he upgraded to more sophisticated hearing aids that use blue tooth technology and require more power. We were going through their batteries like crazy. We had to store “just in case” batteries everywhere.

The audiologist pulled me aside and recommended that I try the new improved Energizer batteries with zero mercury and longer life. My husband loved the eight pack snap out battery carrier that was easy to tote or store.

I loved that the recyclable card that the batteries attached to was larger and easier to read. He had never used the usage tip to “activate the battery by removing the tab and allowing a minute for it to reach full power” before inserting it because it had been too small to read and wasn’t readily noticeable on the generic batteries.

I appreciate the color coded tabs that indicate size as it makes it easier to purchase the correct batteries. There is a thicker zinc coating also that protects against corrosion and diminishes waste of energy.

All that said, they really do last longer and are easier to use. They hold their power for up to 4 years in storage, so I buy several at a time to store at home, the office, etc. We are very careful with our disposal of the spent batteries as they are still small and could be swallowed by children or pets.

Received the Energizer improved size 312 hearing aid batteries. I put a couple in my hearing aids two days ago and they are still working. These last longer than the ones I were using. I like the rolling dispenser and the fact that all you have to do to activate the batter is remove the tab and it will reach full power in one minute.

I also like that you can tear the packaging for the dispenser and put them in the pouch with your hearing aids to have them available anytime you need them. I was pleasantly surprised by how long they last.

Will buy more when these run out. Have already recommended them to friends and family that use hearing aids.

Received a package of these to try out for free in return for a review. They are completely interchangeable with any other 312 battery. Immediately upon receiving them I popped couple into my hearing aids to try them out, since my aids were giving me the occasional beep warning me that my installed batteries were dying.

Based on prior history, batteries generally lasted 4-1/2 to 5 days in my model hearing aids. My hearing aids just started beeping a few moments ago, about 6 days (give or take a few hours) after I installed these.

This is definitely the longest I’ve had batteries last in my hearing aids, which speaks well for these.

These batteries have already out lasted the previous batteries used by me. Name of brand not mentioned on purpose. I can only give you 5 Stars but to me they are really in what I would say is the 10 Star rating area.

I am getting almost twice the number of days use even with the Consistency use of the hearing without those around me being able to hear what I am listing to. These batteries are lasting me for almost 11 to 12 days before I have replace them.

I live in the U. S. and was unaware that these came from England. I worried for I had not gotten them as stated but then our friendly inbound package people had to make sure they were not infected with the VIDCON-19 so the extra time really did not bother.

Since receiving these batteries as I stated they are lasting a little more than twice as long as the batteries had had been using. Thank you and all the folks that make them. Sorry to say I cannot rate them as I would like to but I will state that they are worth twice as much as they cost.

My doctor sells this brand for a lot more money than eBay does so Im happy that I can get them for less. Quality seems to be fine; most hearing aid batteries only last for 7 days. Power One, powers ups immediately after the battery door is closed.

Some of these batteries were dated 2016! That’s 5years ago. The newest ones were 2019 and a few were 2017 &18. I did not expect the batteries to be that old. he price was fair but not for old batteries.

I purchased these for my mother because purchasing them in the stores was costing her way too much money. The price paid for these batteries would probably only get me half as many in the stores. They’re a great quality brand at an even greater price.

Advanced might mean they now have a foil tab. This could be good in that too many of the standard batteries (in all yellow packaging) go bad before the stamped expiration dates. This is my first package of the Advanced so will have to see if the tabs preserve them better than the standard types.

However, it might be difficult for me to know if they are really improved over the standard type since I now only purchase batteries with greatest expirations dates (I try for a three year window) due to being burnt too many times with run down or nearly expired batteries with expiration dates of even two years.

I like this battery because it gives a longer lasting battery. It may only be a day longer than other batteries that I have used but they add up. This is a good quality battery. This is important in the smaller type batteries especially for streaming.

I ues recently Duracell for a while and decided to try this one. So far I have impression that Duracell is a bit better but cannot say for sure. No wander Rayovac one of the best batteries on market.

Seems that these battery’s were just a bit thinner and my hearing device which came from Hughes, had to adjust the contact to stop the device from cutting in and out. So it is just my review.

I like the way the plastic top rotates for easy insert into the hearing aid.. and the little tab on it so I don’t drop the battery while doing the insert.

The batteries the VA hands out to hearing aid users are not as pictured here. They have 8 batteries in a flip-off-back-flap with tiny little sticky brown tabs. The batteries are meant for veterans which could have poor dexterity in their fingers.

I know I have arthritis, and trying to peel those teeny tabs of is pure agony. I have to keep two pairs of jeweler’s pliers handy to do it. Other batteries I have been given (made in Germany, bu the way) have the peel-off tab remain with the carrier instead of remaining attached to the battery.

Could you possibly jog the VA into using better battery packaging? I know this is NOT your problem, but dinging on the VA hasn’t provided any help. Those German batteries lost around 8 to 10 days. Yours last barely 4 to 6.

Having just recently acquired hearing aids for the first time, I began to learn that their batteries are in short supply in many places. I also didn’t know which brand was better than another. Cameron gave me good advice on these RayOVacs.

Lasting longer than other brands, will save me $ & also frustration, finding out where to find them in stock. Plus, they were on sale! I appreciate the expertise being offered without making me feel stupid.

I like the varieties available on product lines. I like the low Walmart prices. I also like the available varieties of fruits and vegetables the year round. I don’t like supposedly high-quality potatoes that have green skins and green insides.

The flavor is very poor. This is found most often on plastic wrapped potatoes.

I tried to stick with these because of positive reviews. I will try other brands after this or maybe those at a drug store, as someone review suggested. With the newest pack I got, the batteries have only lasted for two days.

On a couple of different occasions I replaced my batteries with dead batteries that were supposed to be new. I thought I had mixed them up but I didn’t. I removed the dead ones and threw them away and then pulled the tabs off the new ones and one of my hearing aids would still be dead no matter what I tried and I would have to throw away the supposedly new battery I just put in it a few seconds ago with another new one.

These are way too expensive to go through packs like this. Plus, these never seem to last past 3 days. With this pack 2 days have been the max.

I purchased two packs of these (24 batteries each pack) for my hearing aids. I was given some batteries when I got my hearing aids but wanted some back up batteries. so that is why I bought two packs.

I used 8 batteries from one of the packs and am not happy with them at all. I changed two batteries today and the one I placed in the aid of the the right ear started chiming within 5 min meaning it was dying.

I waited a few min’s and it did it again. I changed to a battery that came with my aids and it worked fine. This if the third time this has happened with these batteries. The bar code on one oack I have left is 4133365982 and the other code number on the same pack is9237850009 62.

I have 14 left from one pack and24 from the unopened pack. I’m not spending more money to send them back If you want to send me something where I can send them back free I’ll be happy to do so. These were purchased at Walmart and I doubt if I can find the reciept.

(I’m a man, we don’t save reciepts) but I know we should, but didn’t expect this to happen.

After using several brands of hearing batteries I have learned a few things. I have been a die hard Duracell battery fan for all my battery needs. However now that I am depended on hearing aids I immediately chose Duracell.

After many months I found Duracell to not live up to expectations. I then, ventured out to many of the other competitors, only to find similar or less performance. Later, after many conversations with my hearing aid manufacturer, I come to realize that these #312 zinc air batteries lasted longer when exposed to the air for a period of time (3-5 minutes before installing.

I typically wait 10 plus minutes, if I can) after removing the tab stuck to the back of the battery. After doing this I have new data that shows the battery length has increased 1-2 or even 3 days longer.

I did return to my favorite Duracell when I followed this method. So I cannot compare it to other batteries. In summary, I am very happy now. I hope following the same method continues to work.

These do not last as long as the Duracell hearing aid batteries Sam’s used to carry. Even worse in my opinion, the tabs that cover each tiny battery are way too small to grasp and remove easily. The Duracell batteries have a nice long tab that’s easy to hold onto and remove.

These have such a small tab that I can’t get the tab off and when I try to, I end up dropping them and have to search forever on the floor and under the bed and nightstand. I lose too many this way and my cats end up finding them and batting them around the house.

I’m terrified they’ll swallow one. PLEASE BRING BACK THE DURACELL HEARING AID BATTERIES!!! These are horrible and if I have issues manipulating them at 48 years old, I can only imagine what older folks are going through with these.

DON’T BUY THESE! Being able to hear is way too important to risk not being able to easily use these hearing aid batteries.

We purchased the 40 pack of brown tab 312 hearing aid batteries. So far I have removed 13 from the package. 11 were completely dead, the 2 that I put in my husbands hearing aids are at 50% and 70%. This is ridiculous.

25% of the package of brand new batteries so far are unusable. A refund is absolutely necessary.

I received an 8 pack of size 13, Energizer hearing aid batteries for use and my honest review. First of all, the packaging is recyclable, which I like. They have long tabs which makes it really easy to open, handle and insert into the hearing aids.

I don’t know how Energizer does it, but these batteries seem to last days longer than other brands. I trust Energizer brand and always look for it wherever hearing batteries are sold.

I’ve been using these Batteries for several years and they are excellent. They hold power well. The price is good, too, much cheaper than buying them at the drug store. My hearing aids use 2 new batteries every four days, and that’s a lot of batteries! These are relatively inexpensive compared to big name brands.

The packages give the expiration dates. The ones I got expire in 2025. I think that’s very good. I will be ordering them again.

Excellent Batteries. Excellent Price. The batteries I was using only gave me 3 days of service. The Cell Tech batteries give me at least 5 days of use. The expiration date is far out. Mine expires in April, 2023.

This is first time time buying hearing aid batteries !! I did some research on these type of batteries and decide to go with PowerOne since are they German made !!! I have been buying the cheap AG-13 Chinese button cells !! They are hit and miss for the ones I have been using !! The model of these button cells are JMK 1.

5 volts with 120-mAh !! The PowerOne batteries have rating 1. 4 volts with 650-mAh !! So the PowerOne batteries should last at least 4-5 times longer being conservative !! My cost for the AG-13 cells 24 piece $1.

Bought these for my wife. She says that she is getting almost a full additional day out of these batteries. Her audiologists gave her a box as a sample and she loved them so much I surprised her with a box.

I will be getting these again. There is nothing worse than her implant batteries dying overnight and her missing her alarm.

These batteries are unreliable and have a short life. They dont begin to compare with Rayovac and I wouldnt recommend anyone buying them

I bought a Chinese hearing aid but the instructions were entirely in Chinese and the battery was unidentified. luckily I obtained enough further info to identify the type and it was ok

I was not sure what brand of batteries were best for my hearing aides. Then I found these and since they were German made that made me try them. I just got my second order. I think they are great. I will keep ordering them in the future too.

I bought these for my mom who goes thru batteries every 2 days for her hearing aids. The best batteries on the market can’t hold up as long as these batteries. Mom days she need to replace them every 4 days which means you are saving money versus the high priced batteries that are in the store.

A lot of batteries for the price! A little shorter use life, but still a good deal.

I tried these batteries to see how they compare with the ones Ive been using but these only last, one week compared to my usual which last 3 to 4 weeks. Never again

My 99 year old mother stepped on one of her $5000 hearing aids. Not wanting to spend that amount of money again, I googled and found this company. I bought what I thought would be comparable aids and waited for their arrival.

When they arrived, I put them in and she was able to hear clearly and with normal voice range from speakers. I thought they might last her until she passed, but 4 years later, both she and they are going great.

The only parts we have replaced are 2 boxes of batteries and a set of tubes. This company is fast to respond and the product is excellent.

I have one of the hc106 in the left ear that works pretty we ll. My problem seems to be getting the HA ear bud placed in my ear. None of the swizes work for me. I got an ear mold made for the left ear and it is a lot better.

they put a soft plastic tube to the HA and mold and I can inseert it better and it works better. If you can send me a little tubing, some other sizes of plugs aand directions on things to try , I will appreciate it.

My 100 year old mother has used a pair of this company’s hearing aides since November 2015, when she accidentally stepped on one of a pair of “expensive” aides. She says she can hear better with these and they also feel better in her ears.

I know I like the price a lot better than her old pair! We have sent for two boxes of batteries since then and they have come within a week of being ordered. I like the pricing and the service is excellent.

These batteries are of excellent quality from a reputable manufacturer and are provided with a very good shelf life. The batteries provide a very good duration in use and the packaging is extremely convenient for keeping a spare set in your pocket.

The ” Easy Tab ” is a boon when fitting the batteries to your hearing aid. A highly recommended product.

It seems counter-intuitive that many brands of hearing aid batteries have tabs that may prove problematic for the elderly to grasp. The elderly, being the very demographic most likely to use hearing aids, often are the ones who may have the most physical or mental challenges associated with grasping small battery tabs.

The Duracell folks have got the pull tab design that is the most convenient. However, I found that they last a full two days shorter than the batteries made by Rayovac. I’m pleased with my recent purchase.

I have not timed the length of time the batteries last. As I take out the batteries at home, when sleeping and when other people are not around, I do not know precisely how long they last. I take the word of other reviewers on this matter.

What I do like about the tab and packaging is this: When I am changing batteries in my hearing aids, I save the tab. I place it on the old dead battery on the opposite side and put the battery back in the empty slot in the package.

This way I can transport the battery home to keep with other dead batteries that I can recycle twice a year with the local municipal weekly pick-up recycling program. I do have a question though. My left ear has more damage (from past military service) in the voice mid range.

My right ear has more normal loss in the upper frequencies, but is fine in all other ranges. I have found that the battery in my right ear wears out faster. I would have thought that due to the more extensive damage in my left ear, the left ear battery would wear out first? Does anyone know why this is?.

Arrived in record time. Fits product as it should. Easy to install. Lasted for the correct length of time.

I received thus package with the top cut off effectively removing the expiration date all hearing aid battery packs have. The batteries wear ALL below the 1.4 voltage.

Though I have yet to try the product, the batteries look every bit as good as I have purchased elsewhere, and for better value.
