I bought this hip pack for a two week trip around Europe. It was the perfect size, fit everything I needed each day (wallet, sunscreen, sunglasses, hand sanitizer…) and it wasn’t bulky. Also, the zipper worked well and never got caught up in the fabric when opening or closing.
My only complaint is about the plastic clip that keeps the extra strap length connected to the other side of the belt. It slips sometimes and could have been better designed. I fiddled with it a bit each time to make sure it laid flat, but it wasn’t a big deal compared to the overall function and look.
If I could add anything, it would be an inside zipper pouch for change or small items.
This bag has gone beyond expectations. I’m surprised with how much stuff it can hold. The material is of great quality and doesn’t stain easily. The zipper attachment did come off very easily, didn’t care for that.
There is no zipper pocket on the inside-which I think would be helpful to store smaller things such as chapstick, change, etc. But the fifteen is holding up quite well and doing it’s job. A great purchase for a mom that is busy on the go-love being hands free.
I absolutely love it and I can’t believe I’m saying that about a fanny pack. Lightweight, and great quality with a deep enough pocket to carry the essentials. My only grievance is the clip used to secure the extra slack of the waistband.
It really doesn’t do much to keep it in place so I often find myself fidgeting with it. I get lots of compliments and the rest of the time I’m telling everyone to buy one of their own. Definitely happy with my purchase.

This item smells SO BAD. Like I literally gagged when I unwrapped it. I’ve scrubbed it, washed it, sprayed it with febreeze- and the smell still hasn’t gone away. It’s so disgusting and I can’t bring myself to use this item because it smells so gross.
Literally smells like formaldehyde. Yuck. Please don’t buy unless you know how to get rid of a smell like that.
Really cute with gold hardware. Nice wide belt that fits me with scads of extra room, my hips are 56″. This is a great find for plus size folks. For quality reference: I buy a lot of bags from Rainbow and this is just a bit better quality but not by much.

I’m kinda particular about this type of pack. Wanted this specifically for walking laps daily. Just right size for wearing and holding the items I needed: keys, band-aids (front section); lipstick, sunglasses, MP3 player, lap clicker counter, memo book, and ballpoint pen in middle section, ID, phone, and comb (back section).
Roomy with space still left in each section for more items or rummaging space to locate items, but still not too big and bulky when wearing. Well made of good quality materials. Zippers work great. Bag designed to lie just right on the hip.

The pack is nice looking but extremely small. My cell phone is small and it barely fits. Multiple compartments but so small, nothing really fits in them. And, if you are a petite person as I am, the belt is extreme long and unlike other belts when you adjust them, it doesn’t roll into the strap making it double.
It just hangs down loose with the extra strap that is too big. I had to cut it to make it shorter due to it hanging down to the floor. For the price, I guess it’s okay but I have had several walking packs like this because I walk daily.
This one is by far the smallest and most disappointing.

I have my ear buds and a Swiss Army knife in the left side mesh pocket, lip balm, bandaids, and small tube of neosporin in the right mesh pocket. My iPhone SE fits in the zipped mesh pocket. I’ve still got plenty of room for that eyeglass case, huge key fobs, a small hairbrush, a gel hand sanitizer, a spray hand sanitizer, a pack of wipes, a pack of gum, tissues, 2 face masks, and there’s still room for more if necessary.
I like to carry it as a sling bag. It’s quite easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. Most times I forget I’m wearing it. Plus I’m hands free. Love the compression straps at the bottom to lash a sweatshirt/jacket.
I love Fjallraven bags. I’ve got a bit of a collection. This one is definitely my favorite. I’ve been using it daily for approximately 8 months. The Ulvo also cleans up easily. I got something on the outside of the bag.
Fjallraven recommends spot cleaning. I cleaned the spot with some mild soap and a washcloth and it came right out. I love this style so much I have it in black, navy, and dark lava. The dark lava is my favorite! I highly recommend this bag to anyone needing a hip pack that can accommodate a bit more than 1-2 liters.
I have tried and few of these “hip packs” as sling bags and this one is my most favorite and most versatile bag own. the color is great ( I got the green color) its holds all my stuff with out be cumbersome and bulky.

This is a cheap bag let’s face it. For the price I guess it will do in a pinch. I happen to be “artsy-craftsy” so I was able to modify the ridiculously designed strap so that it is truly adjustable and I also was able to replace the buckle with one I had purchased online for something else and couldn’t use.
The buckle that comes with this particular bag is impossible to engage while looking at it much less from behind one’s back. The bag itself is fairly roomy and the fabric is of acceptable quality for the price but functionally I would definitely NOT recommend this bag to anyone.
Fit and price are the best. Had one that lasted two years until the inside wearer outZ it’s great for trips to the park and Disneyland. Holds a lot of stuff. The only thing I didn’t like is the strips the hold them in place is elastic and those break fast.

Bag appears very durable, but it was very large and extended out quite a bit, making it look like you’re carrying a large box. The fabric was very stiff that it doesn’t help in the appearance of its size.

It’s not terrible, but it’s not great either. The small zipper pocket on the back is lined with some kind of fragile fleecy material rather than the heavy-duty fabric used for the rest of the bag, so I don’t expect that zipper pocket to last more than about 6 months at best.
Having both straps the same length makes it harder to put on. The fact that it is almost perfectly symmetrical from top and bottom means that I keep putting the silly thing on upside-down. I really wanted to love this waist pack, but I just don’t.

I bought the same one 4-5 years ago and it had a much better strap that did not slip. This one slips and I have to wear it all day. Hmm. Wish they would go back to the sturdier strap that was a bit wider and of heavier material.

I really like the minimalist look, the spaciousness of the bag, and the water resistant lining. The material is just okay– just regular canvas and not as soft or polished-looking as I’d expected. The zipper is also just okay– it’s not the highest quality and catches sometimes so I have to be careful when closing the bag.
I appreciate all the pockets but they’re not that deep/sturdy so things move around and get displaced inside the bag constantly. I’m most likely keeping it because I really needed a bag like this, but I don’t 100% love it, and don’t feel like the price matched the quality.

I like the look of this bag, but I find it lacks the functionalities I am looking for (active use). The strap is an elastic band: it will stretch and bounce with every move. Also, the bag does not have depth, it looks overloaded with only a few small items in it.
I do recommend this bag if you wish to only carry small and light items in it (cards and keys).
After a lot of research, I finally found this fanny pack to match my Arcteryx Oriel Dimma leggings. I am not especially enthused by anything other than the color. I worry about the longevity of the purely elastic waist strap, and would have preferred a canvas waist belt that could have turned the small pack into a sling.
That said, it is not bad, but it barely fits the essentials. depending on how frugal you are.
