20 Best False Eyelashes For Hooded Eyes (2023 Updated)

& I’m DEVASTATED that my favorite lashes on this planet are so much shorter now. I would normally, give this 10 stars if I had the option. But- I can never find the kind pictured in any store, and the ones I have been finding looked completely chopped off.

It seems like they’re out of stock all the time, and the ones in stock are so different now. Not sure if it was this last production that messed up, but the DEMI wispies seem 100x shorter/ choppy. Again I have been purchasing DEMI wispies for over several years now, so I’m not confused between regular and Demi.

The last few packs I purchased were very short and choppy, I’m just so sad because it seems like they’re changing, becoming hard/ choppy/ shorter as opposed to somewhat soft/ flowy/ medium length. Did I just get a bad pack? I certainly hope so.

These have to be my all time fave lashes! They come with a mini duo (blue) glue but I use my own duo (green) not sure the difference. I have a pai for no make up and a pair for when I wear eyeliner. I’m pretty sure I wore them more than a recommended amount, too.

I feel they look like false lashes and often get asked if I’ve had my lashes done! The only minor point is I find they’re a bit weak. I got my third pack and used tweezers to pull them gently out the pack (as always) and the end 2 or 3 lash clumps pulled off!! Bit gutted but it wasn’t noticeable so I carried on with them.

I love these lashes! At first I was going to use them as half lashes b/c this one person recommended to use these as such but they’re perfect just the way they are! It’s always been difficult for me to apply other lashes but these are so easy using tweezers and my fingers.

These stuck on me pretty well and I used the green lash duo glue. Other lash bands would be too long for my eyes but I didn’t even have to trim these. To me, they’re kind of in between a casual/simple and dramatic look, but still it makes your eyes look pretty.

They also curl up so nicely, it looks almost like extensions. I have never left a review for any other lashes so this should tell you how worth it these are!.

By trial and error, these are now my all time favorite. Very thin band makes it easy to apply (underneath). I used to cut up lashes into chunks but because of the flexible thin band, no longer need to.

I just trim a little off each side just to size down to my eyes. I use the Kiss glue in black and they are a breeze to put on and wear all day and even over night. Big major bonus is that after getting wet, they hold their fan and do NOT get clumpy or spikey (I found the Kiss wispies to clump after getting wet but the look so natural/flirty do not).

Beautiful lashes, perfect length and look. Look like your lashes but 10x better.

I received this complimentary product from Influenster and Kiss in exchange for my honest review. These Lash Drip Strip Lashes in the style Drenched give a 3-dimensional voluminous look with a unique wet effect.

Overall, these lashes are SUPER dramatic! I’m talking stop-and-stare type of lashes,… They’re beautifully thick with a gorgeous wispy fullness to them. These lashes are also super lightweight with a flexible band, and don’t feel too heavy on my eyelids.

They’re easy to apply as well and the Kiss brand glue works great to keep them on all day long. However,… as beautiful as they are, I personally won’t be able to continue to wear these. I have hooded eyes, which means these dramatic lashes tickle the bottom of my eyebrows as I go about my day.

I also unfortunately have to wear eyeglasses, and these lashes catch on my lenses every time I blink (unless I move the glasses all the way down the bridge of my nose, which isn’t really comfortable).

While I can’t reasonably wear them myself, I would still say these lashes are ideal if you want a spiky glossy lash look and don’t have the same obstacles that I have for wearing them!.

I never really wore false lashes til i received this Kiss VoxBox and trying all these different lashes and nails has been fun and also a learning experience for me.

The strip seemed a bit difficult to apply to my lash line and glue was a bit tricky to work with but after trial and error I got them on to look great. Not good if someone is pressed for time. But it could be my lack of skills since I am new to the lash game.

But once they were on they looked really cool a bit glamorous for everyday or work. But for going out or special occasions I would totally wear these. They’re a bit long so if u wear sunglasses or eyeglasses it feels weird with the lashes grazing the lens.

For the retail price of 4 or 5 dollars they really add glam to ur look and they stayed on well throughout the day and evening. I would definitely purchase these again.

Along with some new nails from KISS, I also got some fake lashes in my Voxbox. I’ve never been too good with lashes and would definitely say that I’m a beginner. The new line called KISS Lash Drip, I did love the packing it almost looked like it was wet.

It has a crisscross patterns for that wispy effect and look almost hydrated so the lashes look thicker, bolder and darker. I will say I tried them on the best I could and they were definitely dramatic and was exactly how KISS described them to be, just not a look I would wear personally.

I really like these lashes. I wear glasses so I can’t do super-dramatic lashes anyway and these fit comfortably behind my lenses. The band is very thin so your liner can be, as well; I’ve even worn these without liner.

They fit my eyes so I’ve never had to trim them; idk about that aspect of their performance. I would definitely recommend these, along with the brand’s lash glue. I clean them carefully with makeup remover and I’ve used one pair up to 10 times.

After two years of lash extensions I returned to my roots…. strip lashes. I have tried several brands but Kiss whispy lashes in the 5 pack are my all time favorite. I get compliments daily. Some people don’t know they are faux.

I like these, they are very comparable to Ardell Demi Wispies. They are full and airy and compliment a multitude of eye shapes. They are lightweight and you can barely tell when wearing them. I also like the 6 or 10 pack so I have several on hand.

The exact kit I have wasn’t listed but thus brand has decent quality magnetic lashes at a great price point. I don’t use daily but have used at work (I’m a server at a popular diner) and they lasted throughout an extremely busy Halloween shift, and long after.

The liner is super easy to apply and this kit gives 2 tubes. This one also has 10 different lash styles that can each last multiple uses, just be sure to clean the magnetic strips with eye makeup remover.

My pic is missing a set and half of another set because I lost one and accidentally threw the other set out, but there’s a great variety ranging from natural to glam to super glam. Trimmable as well.

If I had not had my hair` up in rollers at the time, I would have lost my hair too. But as it was, just lost my eyebrows and eyelashes too. They never grew back. So, the reason I like this particular lash, is because it is self adhesive, and actually adhears to my eyelid.

Then, I use your Faux lashes 118 on top using the UNO dark lash adhesive on top. The result is stunning. I get compliments all the time. And, I only have to redo the duo once a week, or maybe even 10 days.

These are my absolute favorite false eyelashes!! They are so easy to cut to adjust the length to properly fit your eye and apply. They also have the most comfortable band I’ve found of any false lashes and the band is invisible.

They are so beautiful yet subtle and I love that about them. I will definitely continue to buy these. They really make my eyes pop.

Ardell wispies are my favourite natural lashes! These look great and are so light weight you don’t even notice you have lashes on. I can wear them all day without any irritation. It’s super easy to use and the thin band makes them sit well on the lash line.

I highly recommend these for first time lash wearers or for everyday use.

You can never go wrong with Ardell lashes at all. They are without a doubt the best fake lashes even up against high end brands. These 701′ are my more going out lashes ,I have a more subtle lash for everyday but I use the for that.

And I use duo glue. These lashes are so inexpensive that they are such a great buy. You can wear these mult-times also just be careful when removing them and cleaning and they are like brand new. So you can not beat the deal.

So yes I would definitely recommend this, if your bad at lashes try these or if your a lash addict try them. Plus if u have small eyes like mine ardell is definitely the brand you need cause her bands are great not to heavy.

These eyelashes are very good, although the style is not my personal favourite. I really like the thin and flexible lash band on these lashes. The thin band makes these lashes undetectable when placed on the lash line properly and they are very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

The style 105 are of moderate length. These lashes are not thick, which is a feature I prefer. They do not cover/block the eyelid and my eye makeup. These lashes are slightly tapered on the inner corner, but if they were more tapered they would look more realistic.

The outer end of these lashes is slightly longer than the rest of the lash. This format creates a subtle cat eye shape. The length and positions of each lash is very precise and uniform, which makes these lashes look artificial.

I would prefer if these lashes were slightly more fluffy. Overall, these lashes are a pretty style that enhances the eyes. I like how easy these lashes are to apply and how comfortable they feel on the eyes.

One pair of lashes can be worn numerous times if handled carefully. This product is very affordable. I will use these lashes up, but I will not purchase this style again. I will definitely buy Ardell lashes again and I highly recommend the brand.

I used to use Eyelure until I came across Ardell. I won’t use anything else now. These wispies are so beautiful. They look like real lashes because they’re different lengths and wispy, so not block lashes that can look fake.

I always get complimented on these when wearing them, and people think they’re my own. They’re probably a bit dramatic for someone who is a false lash virgin, but I’m used to them and love the volume they give.

The band is soft and bendy too, and not stiff and hard to manipulate like others I’ve tried. I pick the glue off and can get a month wear out of each pair easily. Ardell is a fab brand. Xx.

These lashes are cute! They’re soft, silky, and I love that they aren’t terribly shiny and obviously fake-looking like a lot of false lashes on the market. They are perfect for an every day look, they’re definitely not too intense to wear to the office.

They are in the median price range at $20CAD. However, I would say that they are comparable to Kiss lashes, except far more expensive for just one pair. The band is great though, it’s very flexible and it sits super comfortably on the eye! I would recommend these to anyone who’s interested in trying these (and is not worried about spending a few extra dollars).

First time purchasing and trying these. Price on the expensive side in my opinion (anything more than $10-15). This might be due to brand and packaging. Packaging is great! Very easy to apply and comfortable to wear.

OMG!! When I tell you that I swear by these, I mean it! I love these lashes for different reasons. The main reason it for how thin the band is. I have tried so many expensive eyelashes and a lot of them have thinker bands which make it a little difficult to apply them.

Kara lashes are a lot more flexible and easy to apply! Kara lashes were the first lashes I started using and till this day I still love them! The best part about it is the PRICE!!! It’s very affordable and the rage of different styles is amazing(: it’s definitely reusable (taking care of it really helps too) I usually get about 10 to 15 uses out of one pair! I really do love it(: I definitely recommend this product.

I absolutely love these lashes! They are super affordable look so naturally wispy and I just love them. I really like the clear thin bendable band on these as well they are very easy to blend in and apply.

It’s super convenient to buy online these online. The pros stops there. They are very natural looking. if you’re going for the no make up look. However when you take them out of the package, you need to be super careful or they rip literally apart as you try to take them off the adhesive strip.

I’ve used other individual lashes and clusters before from other brands. I even took these lashes out with lash tweezers by the base. I’ve had these a month before I opened them up to use with my Falscara for dyi lash “extensions.

” The short and medium lashes look identical and there is no size or length difference between the two. I needed to use half the package to get any sort of “volume” to appear. Because the short and medium were one length, it didn’t blend together with the longs on my outer eye corners.

Would not buy again EVER!!!.

These lashes are great to use with “Falscara”. I have oily, hooded lids and even the individual lash glue would dissolve by mid day. By applying the glue and lashes to the underside, the application lasts the entire day.

Amazing what basically less than a millimeter makes. LOL, this also became a review for “Falscara” The best thing Ardell has done is secure the lashes mid-shaft so you can pluck them out by the root or convergence point and not mess it up by grabbing at the strands.

Love this feature and hope they continue with it.

LOVE these Mac siren false eyelashes!! They’re beautiful, great quality,made wonderfully,great packaging, don’t irritate my sensitive eyes, they last, can be reused MORE so than other lashes I’ve bought.

Fit to my unique eye shape well without having to do alot of trimming/cutting;can pop them on with ease. I normally go for a tapered lash, That’s longer on the end, esp because I do ALOT of winged eyeliner looks.

However THESE are just a great mix of long AND short lashes; the perfect amount of dramatic without being too fake looking or big. THESE are VERY versatile; they take any eye look from natural/basic everyday eyeshadow/makeup to FULL out red carpet glam to the NEXT level.

You do need to purchase your own lash glue for these, however you can use Ardell or duo if you have it. I REALLY appreciate Mac’s false lashes as a makeup artist because they REALLY enhance the eyes gorgeously are so well crafted! Obsessed with THESE.

The band isn’t heavy either, super light because it’s clear, you’ll have to go over it with eyeliner otherwise it shows. Whenever i use, feels like i have D curl extensions. It’s a shame MAC does animal testing, i wasn’t aware until i bought this product.

The Tarteist PRO lashes are hard to review because it really depends on what set you get and what your preferences for lashes are. Some of the sets are very dramatic, so those are personally not for me.

I like more natural looks. I actually tried a few just to experiment and I found them extremely hard to trim correctly, they didn’t hold their curl, they were too heavy and were very uncomfortable. I don’t know how that compares to other brands though.

As for Girlboss, these are for “dramatic length and layered dimension”. They look more natural, but still have a little drama. I think they flatter my eye shape and give a good combination of length and dimension with a little wispiness.

These do have a thick, cotton band, which feels heavy to me after wearing for a little while. That could be due to the fact that I don’t wear lashes very often though. The set that is my favorite is called “GTL” and they are very natural looking and mostly just enhance your features.

I’m not sure if I will buy any of these again though because I’m interested in trying other brands to see how they compare, as I don’t have much experience here. However, if I can’t find another vegan, cruelty- free brand, I will be back to Tarte.

These are worth looking into as long as you pick ones suited to your eye shape and know how to trim them. I also recommend using their lash glue with them.

I really, really wanted to love these lashes and normally, I love everything Tarte. These lashes, however, were the worst I’ve ever owned. And that is really saying something. I am 47 and I’ve worn many brands and styles of faux lashes.

I prepped my eyes and the lashes exactly as I always have and used the same lash adhesive that I always use. Sadly, these lashes were so stiff that I could not get them to shape to my lashline. Ended up giving up after a half an hour of trying to get them to bend to my eye shape and just tossed them in the garbage.

Switched to a different brand of lashes, which went right on in a matter of minutes and stayed on all evening. Bottom line, I definitely would not purchase these lashes again and probably would not bother trying any other faux lashes from Tarte.

Easy to apply and stayed all day. First I cleansed my skin, then I trimmed them to fit my eyes, lined my eye with the liner and lined the lash with the liner. While the glue was still wet I applied the lash.

i received this pair of lashes from house of lashes complimentary from influenster ✨ this was my first time trying lashes from this brand and i was super impressed. this pair combines a dynamic V-formation effect with a criss-cross pattern with just enough drama for everyday wear.

the flared shape and wispy ends gives you an elongated fox eyed look. great quality lashes, didn’t love the size of these for my eye shape but these are suppose to be perfectly made for smaller eyes.

the band is a good size, not too thin, not too thick, it makes it easy for you to get close to your lash line. easy to apply, i applied these with my @houseoflashes Lash and Dash Crystal Clear Eyeliner Adhesive and it was even easier.

the band is strong but still subtle. they’re super comfortable and lightweight. i love that these lashes feel like they’re your real eyelashes once you put them on, they’re soft and stay perfectly in place for a long time.

these are a bit pricey for me but not as pricey for being high end lashes. if taken care of properly you’re suppose to be able to wear these up to 15 times or more so they’re worth it. i love that these lashes are handmade, cruelty-free, vegan and eco-conscious.

I am not very good with eye lash application, and I was nervous when I saw these in my voxbox, but I can tell you with confidence now, that these lashes are beginner friendly and just stunning. Out of the three styles of lashes I have tried, these were my least favourite, that doesn’t necessarily mean I didn’t enjoy them, these worked beautifully and lasted a full 6 hours on me.

However, these as the name suggests are mini, the band was a bit small for me and I had a slight bit of a struggle getting them to mesh with my own lashes. But once I got them on, I was good to go. I love that I can wear these 15 times.

I love that the band stayed put on me for the entire 6 hours I wore these for. The trick to good application is applying glue and letting it sit for a min before placing it on your eyes. Hold a mirror below and look down into it, then place the lash on the center, then tuck in the edges.

I prefer to wear the Iconic minis as an accent last and it add the extra length. Something else to note, these are vegan and cruelty free, which is very important for me.

These lashes are amazing. I recently used them on a client and they just give the most amazing fluffy look. Not over the top in heaviness, really nicely placed lashes for a softer, but still glam enough, look.

Will definitely be purchasing again and will definitely use these on myself.

First impressions for me was the packaging, the lashes are place into a little reusable cute boxes with a magnetic closure and the lashes themselves are easy to place back and remove.

Second, these lashes are great for all events, they are subtle and more natural rather then extreme, they are the perfect lash for any occasion. The lashes are made thoughtfully and are are light despite they’re tiny magnets, they sit well along the lash line and cause not discomfort whatsoever.

The magnets are not noticeable, they do not fall off, and they are also very strong and did not lift from their placement at any point of my day. At the end of the day they were incredibly effortless to remove and did not lift the magnetic eyeliner with them, I did not need to apply eyeliner so the cleaning was extremely minimal, and they are as new as they started! Oh I almost forgot! They are extremely easy to apply! Great for everyone! Recommend Pairing: Lilly Lashes Click Magnetic Felt Tip Eyeliner: This is a great eyeliner, the felt tip is a lot larger then many others that I currently own but it applies effortlessly, with precision, and comfortably.

The color is very opaque and after applying does not transfer to other areas of the eye, it does not smudge, flake, or damage with water or tears. The finish does have a high shine and is far from matte but is beautiful (once the lashes are applied, a bit of eye shadow will easily matte the liner if a matte finish is desired) it remains a bit sticky but doesn’t transfer when touched and the formula is not heavy at all.

My eyes are highly sensitive and I have a limited number of brands which I use due to this. This eyeliner did not cause any discomfort or an allergic reaction even hours down the line. It is important to note that this liner is to pair with magnetic lashes, with that said it has great holding power with just one application and the lashes did not budge! I did not require reapplication, and the liner did not lift when readjusting the lashes during initial placement or removal of the lashes.

Overall this is a great product for both the professional and the beginner, I highly recommend it.
