20 Best Eye Shadow For Hazel Eyes (2023 Updated)

One of the few so-called “cult favorite” products that actually works for me. This is for all the ladies out there who are either, cannot apply eyeshadow for nuts, or ladies constantly in a rush every morning trying to get out of the door to work and just wanna have one swipe on your eyelids to give it some color and sparkle, this is THE ONE.

Classy glitter/shimmer; definitely not the chunky arts class kind of glitter. Very sparkly, lasts for the entire day. Smooth texture doesn’t scratch your skin. Honestly unless you are a professional MUA, chances are this little dish is gonna last me for decades to come.

I don’t wear a lot of makeup but I do like eyeshadow that has a nice glow while adding a little sparkle and dimension. This (Liquid Mercury) does that. It is a mauve/dark Taupe color with a tiny bit of shimmer (not that ridiculous glitter).

If you wear an eye shadow base and apply this with a brush it will go on lighter and with an even coverage. If you apply with a finger or without base it is very dark and smudgy. I guess you can also build own it either way.

Very versatile and while I wouldn’t say this is the finest shadow ever used, its good. For comparison purposes, My MAC All That Glitters is the type of color I love, but the texture of Dior 5 palettes and Chantecaille singles is what I crave.

This one is somewhere in the middle.

Buildable coverage!! Definitely works better on a primed eyelid. Palette wasn’t quite my go to for everyday makeup, but works great for special ocassions. Smooth pigment, easy to apply and use. I love the cohesion of the shades, makes it super simple to apply and create a beautiful look.

I really love the complex colors in this palette, there’s not only a bit of everything in here, there are some gorgeous multi tonal mixes that make it a great go to got travel use. There’s a lot of versatility here and although I’m no beauty expert, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of different brands and releases and haven’t ever seen one quite like this.

I’ve subbed to various beauty boxes in the past and received a lot of different ones but many end up being very similar or just slightly different and then at a certain point it feels like hoarding when you’re using a few different ones but never finishing any.

For that reason this one seems like it would be something great to gift, or for a newbie, because you can do so much with it without needing to reach for another for a while. It’s awesome to be able to choose from silver and grey for classic looks, or go with brown and tan for a more neutral look.

I feel like I would have saved a lot of money by having this before I added more to my collection just to get all the options that are here in one set. I do like when a palette includes a tool, although I know it’s not on trend and most people use their own, but it would be nice for travel to have it together or be able to use on the go when you already have your base look for the day and just want to do a slight touch up.

I also appreciate having good matte options, as that is my tried and true fav look for daily wear. The product has a nice feel and applies well with the right tools and it also doesn’t have excessive fallout which you do often get when layering and blending a lot of shades.

I prefer using a lid primer to give any shadow more staying power and help prevent creasing, and with this it did hold up quite well over long days.

I’ve bought two other pacifica pallets before this one, Crystal Matrix, and the Hemp Infused one. And I have to say this one is by far my favorite. I’ve had this pallet for about three months and I am in love.

It is so well pigmented, which is always iffy with natural pallets like this. The color selection is amazing and it works for every occasion. Used this thing on my prom look! The really glittery ones (moonbeam, dreamy, and nova) are so sparkly, I’ll still have glitter on my face two days later, I like it personally but just be aware of that.

This is my go to color variation pallet and I looove it.

Sooo much fall out it actually really ruined my look today. I didn’t find that the pigmentation was bad like others said though, maybe the eye primer I used saved that effect. Blending was just ok not great.

Love the color story. I’m going to keep this but this is a pallet I’ll definitely have to do my foundation and concealer after eyes with and even then I might need to use some sort of shield if I want to use the darker shades cuz not even Huda Beauty’s Faux Filter Concealer could cover up the dark blue’s fallout.

I liked this eyeshadow. The pigment was great though formula is a little powdery. This didn’t bother me though. I use the light green color quite a bit and it makes my eyes pop. I would buy it again.

This product is such a great buy! It’s neutral for everyday wear and because it’s natural you don’t get break outs or other reactions from applying it to the skin. They also have a variety of shades to pick out the perfect blend for you!.

Bought this at my local Walmart in avenue de roses. lOVE the color. And it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Great pigmentation. However after having it for a few weeks the lower right dark brown crumbled apart.

I’m very gentle with my makeup bag. If you plan on keeping flat and never moving it off a flat surface like a vanity then you should be ok. But judging by other reviews this crumbling is a common occurrence so I sadly won’t be repurchasing this.

This Almay Collection 422 is my all time favorite. I am 80 and can wear it without appearing garrish. The soft tones are subtle and flattering, and in my opinion, are enhancing to many skin tones and eye colors.

Almay did a disservice to their customers when they discontinued this product. STILL NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!.

I really liked that the trio of colours really complimented each other and the colour of my eyes. The colour stayed pretty well and it is cost effective and easily accessible. I never regretted the purchase and bought it a few times before switching brands.

Great price and even better pigmentation! I have 2 different of these and love them both the same. Great shimmer but not over powering. Great value! Highly recommend! Will purchase again! You can see by the picture how much I like to use these colours!.

Really loving using this. So many different shades that are cleverly placed in a very usable palette with a pull-out mirror for ease of use. 12 separate colours but I’ve used them in chunks of four. The left four, I use for an everyday look.

The middle four, something a bit stronger – perhaps a cheeky Christmas lunch with the girls look and the end four added to the other colours for a stronger smokey eye or big night out party look. It’s going to take me right through until the summer.

The pigment and payoff are great and it would make a thoughtful Christmas present for a make-up fan or a welcome addition to your dressing table!.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this product. I got it as a bonus to my order. I don’t use exclusively Bobbi Brown make up, and I’m very fussy about my eyeshadow. It seems like most, even top brands, don’t have the colour saturation, so they go on with a really weak colour.

These were fabulous. Also, In my experience it’s really hard to find these neutral warm gold tones that aren’t too flat or are only made for going out at night. The best I found in the past is two colours In a pallet of 12.

These colours combine really beautifully and give a great neutral eye for the workday with just enough shimmer to brighten your eye. This will be my go to pallet from now on.

Great quality eyeshadow palette. 50th birthday, deserved an expensive treat, wow! The colours are like autumn trees, quality superb. The package is luxury too. 5 star item worth every penny !

I love Clinique eyeshadows. I hadn’t been able to wear eyeshadow for most of my adult life because most brands make my eyes burn, but Clinique has not irritated my eyes at all. I have Teddy Bear, Going Steady, and Skinny Dip in these quads – they’re all fabulous.

(I also kind of want Pink Chocolate, but it seems like it’d be too similar to the Strawberry Fudge duo that I already have. ) The shadows aren’t chalky at all – they go on very smoothly, almost creamily, and blend easily.

I didn’t like shimmery eyeshadows previously, but these have won me over – they aren’t too glittery and are very flattering. They also aren’t overpowering colors, so they’re easy to work with without accidentally overdoing it.

I have no complaints at all!.

When I opened the quad, the first thing I noticed was that the colors are nowhere near as rich as the image. While I don’t have any expectation that the colors are exactly like the image, it shouldn’t look completely different either.

Additionally, there were hard “lines” in two of the colors, which is what made me wonder if it was old. The shadow looked like it was breaking down or something. It is way too much of an effort to get an adequate amount of shadow – I’m not kidding – you have to do about 10 or 12 passes.

No matter what brush or even using the dreaded foam applicator. Then it does not stay on for even a few hours. Just this morning I decided to throw it away. It’s just not worth it. Very sorry to say that it was not at all a good purchase.

I am in love with this product. I love the matte+poreless liquid foundation as well, and I got this in the same shade (classic ivory). I should note, it is a tiny bit lighter in color than the liquid (which for me was fine).

I would say it’s light/medium coverage, but buildable. I was looking for a powder foundation bc summer in my hometown is sweltering, and I have oily skin. This product is incredible! I absolutely love it.

I wish like anything that it was around when I was a teen. It’s very easy to use, so very beginner friendly, but also extremely effective. I use it with some concealer and it looks great. The applicator is great, although I do recommend going over it with a big brush just to make sure it’s all smoothed out.

And btw, it’s great for oil control. I know powder foundation may not be for everyone, but for me it’s a breeze to apply and feels light as air. Truly incredible product!.

I absolutely adore, this product. Super pigmented. Super creamy. Perfection on a budget. It’s a must. Specially this color. You can get two types of shadows. You can blend with brush all over the crease.

With your finger pat the cream over your eyelid. Bam! You got a whole 3d look with 1 shadow pot, a brush and your finger.

I remember when these first came out. I tried a couple then but had moved on to other things. I decided to try them again as a base for other shadows. The first one I bought was Socialite. Gorgeous creamy bad to bronze.

Bright and beautiful. Loved it so I bought another two. Bronzed Taupe and the white. Both were disappointing. I’m sure the taupe was one I had before but this time I didn’t like it as much. It’s full of glitter.

I’ve made it work though as a base. I just use my finger to apply then I use a fluffy brush and dust another shadow lightly over the top. Same with the white. Only okay. One thing though, I did stir the shadows.

They did seem dry like other people are saying. I put mine in the micro wave for just a few seconds and then stirred it with a toothpick. Came out great.

I like this palette! I don’t know why it does not get a lot of love. It looks romantic! Some of the shadows look like roses which is cute. I think the shadows go on well and blend well. The ones that have glitter in them just have to be applied and patted on with the finger.

This is a nice monotone palette with nice slim packaging. I would give it as a gift. Looks very nice on my deep skin tone.

Was looking for new make up for my wedding a few weeks ago. Spotted this, and fell in love with the variety of rosy colors and the rose motif. Looked beautiful for my wedding, and works great when I’m on set in front of a camera.

Lasted all day with concealer as primer. Only used the matte, which went on smoothly. Looking forward to trying the shimmery shades. I thought the price was reasonable for the number of usable colors on my skintone (light tan, gold undertones).

I liked that it didnt have a lot of plastic packaging, which is SUCH a waste, but feels sturdy enough for to be in my on-set makeup bag. Happy w my purchase!.

The previous review is spot on. I agree with every single point made. The palette itself is Ah-mazing – the texture, the colour story, the effect it creates on the lids. I fell in love with it from the first application.

It creates the most gorgeous healthy, wet looking sun-kissed holiday look – it’s mesmerising – I got so many compliments when I wore it to a brunch the other day – I thought I had found my new make-up holy grail.

However, there’s a huge BUT. It creases almost immediately and melts away too quickly. At some point during the brunch, when I checked my make up in the mirror – I was disappointed to discover that I had literally only a few sparkly bits left on my lids.

I felt like Cinderella who didn’t leave the ball on time – going from ‘golden goddess’ look to no make up look in a matter of an hour and a half. I still love this palette for the initial wow factor, but it’s a high maintenance product that needs to be reapplied constantly.

This has been my most used eyeshadow palette since I purchased it this summer. It never fails to get compliments from friends and strangers. The shadows are best applied with a finger, although I also use my Rephr #12 brush to help blend or lay color in the crease.

It’s my favorite cream eyeshadow formula, the colors and textures are dreamy. The formula does crease after a few hours, but it’s very easy to tap it back out into a smooth blend. It also gives a very cool girl, bit of a mess but in a fashion way, vibe when it starts to crease.

Tapping it out may not be necessary. If creases are an absolute no go for you, I wouldn’t recommend. But if you like a lived in look, or don’t mind tapping them out every few hours, run and get this palette.

It’s effortless to apply, this look took seconds, and be ready for the compliments. The way these shadows catch the light is really something to behold.

For definition use a medium toned shade on the center of the eyelid. Use a darker shade, from the outer corner and blend to the center of the lid. Blending is the key to ensure there are no harsh lines between the medium and darker shade.

You can also apply a darker shade to the lower lash line as an eye liner for more impact. Use the highlighting shade under the brow and on the inner corner of the eye. *photos are in room lighting outdoor lighting ♡.

small, compact, comfortable with a large mirror. this packaging is wonderful. is a complete palette with 9 shades matte and shiny . they are pigmented and appear almost creamy on the skin. I love it .

I like the colours in the palette but once on their vibrant hue is very diminished. Disappointed! I was looking for some rosy pinks but these just blend and smudge. The darkest pink/mauve goes on almost peach! I recommend the Pac-ifica shadows, they’re great.

i really love how it look at my face after apply it. Very suitable with me who doesn’t like a heavy make up. A very simple touch up look natural loved it to max!!

If you haven’t tried the Chanel Ombré Première Laque longwear liquid shadow I can definitely recommend it if you like your shimmers soft and smooth. I picked this up recently in the gold shade 39 Lame Ivore (a champagne ivory) and I’m in love! It has just enough shimmer to catch someone’s eye without looking like a disco ball on your face.

What’s most important, at least to me, is that there are no glitter chunks. With my hooded eyes, any kind of chunks quickly get bunched up because of the extra skin on my eyelids and it gets messy fast.

Yuck! This liquid shadow is thin and dries down fast, leaving nothing behind but beautiful, shimmering color. My wear test also proved the “longwear” claim true. Eight hours after putting this on it looked nearly as good as when I applied it.

I was floored! I can’t wait to go back for more shades as my budget allows. (These retail for $36. ) Don’t forget, Chanel is now available in limited selection at Ulta! (Note: The shade I tagged isn’t correct but it’s forcing me to pick one.

Beautiful, complex shimmer that is perfect for a one shadow look. I have received compliments for my eyeshadow when I’ve worn this and they’ve been surprised that it’s only a single shadow. I swipe some on my lid, pat it in with a finger up to the crease to diffuse it then apply a little more to the centre of my eyelid for a bit of extra shine.

All done with fingers. Word of warning – it dries down very quickly so do one eye at a time and work quickly because once it’s dry it won’t budge (also not a bad thing) which makes it a little hard to diffuse out.

It’s my go to for a quick, easy eyeshadow look. One tube will last forever so well worth the expensive price tag for a complex, beautiful shadow that is perfect for everyday use (appropriate for both work and party depending on how you build it up/the shade).

I brought this is rose gold. Love the liquid eyeshadows and the rose gold is a lovely shade but make sure you prime your eyelids as it tends to disappear off my oily lids. Not a fan of the smell, has an artificial smell that reminds me of the stila liquid eyeshadows.

Get a good colour pay off and extra dimension when you layer it with more eyeshadow. However great to use for daily use when you only want a minimalist look. Overall a great buy, this will last a long time but I think I will stick to another brand for cream eyeshadows.

Brought this from David Jones in Perth city along with a few other products and received appalling service. The lady whom served me was extremely snotty, I felt like I was putting her out when it should have been the other way round.

She didn’t even have the knowledge on the products either to warrant such an attitude. Will never go back.
