They don’t increase sound from what I noticed. Maybe a fraction? But the look is unbeatable and just plain aggressive. I think it’s a great buy and we’ll worth it. A little expensive but it’s Flowmaster and it completes the look.
Pretty straight-forward installation process. Had an issue with the bolt siezing on one of my band clamps, but with a little extra muscle was finally able to bust it free. Looks great on the truck!

Exactly as advertised. The final opening is restricted to bring down the volume to about 2. I have a 5. 2L Dodge Ram 1500 with true duals and 2 single chamber mufflers on each side. Its all 2-1/4 pipe with these tips welded on.
Could have bolted em on, all hardware was supplied as advertised but I wanted to weld em. I used 2-1/4 to 2-3/4 adapter and welded it all up. Brought the volume down just right and look awesome! Cant get better quality for the money! I will be using these again.
This exhaust cover works amazing and its easy to install. Makes it a little louder and made a pop sound a couple of times I was only stationary I would only imagine it sounding better at higher speeds.

Great looking addition to my truck. Did involve cutting about 4 inches or so off end of tailpipe. Accomplished with the use of stiff paper wrapped around the pipe as a guide to mark a cut line with a Sharpie and then cut off with a Sawsall.
The 4×5 dual wall slant tip looks great on my Ram 2500 diesel. The install was simple the MBRP tip slide over original exhaust making it easy to figure tip placement. Then mark exhaust pipe, measure for clamping area cut with sawzall.

Got to be honest. The exhaust tips were slightly uneven with one being longer than the other. Fortunately another pair were swapped out. Better fit now. Exhaust tips look sexy on my truck. Great sound also! Heavy quality.
packaging was normal and intact from shipping install was pretty straight forward as from the YouTube videos finish is nice and helps the sound quality of the Flowmaster outlaw i bought to go with them.
Install time is right around an hour maybe less if you have a cut tool for the weld in the oem clamps. if you have new ines then its definitely less than an hour.

This is a great piece to finish off my exhaust on my truck. I went with a Flo Pro 5in from the down-pipe back and finished with this 5in inlet to 6in outlet by MBRP. Polished finish was done well and it is made from high quality material.

Good product, will get a second one when the fuel exhaust goes on. Looks good, attaches well. Only draw back I can see is the angle cut is not very pronounced.
I installed this tips using the supplied clamp, I don’t recommend that you use the supplied clamps on 304 stainless tubing,but works on aluminumized steel. Instead I used the dura-seal brand band clamp,as they are made of a heavy gauge steel.

It fills out the diffuser on my vehicle so much better. They are worth the price for sure. If you plan to keep car for a while definitely worth the money. Gives the vehicle a upgraded look. Car enthusiasts will notice for sure.
Look much better than the stock tips and install takes about 20 minutes. Due to the entire exhaust system being a little less than perfectly even I was not able to perfectly even out the tips but it’s not hugely noticeable.
Really like the larger look as well as the black, doesn’t change the sound much if any.

Frankly, I would have returned these exhaust tips had my body shop not decided to run them through custom cut-outs in the rear pan. That way the imperfections (crescent-shaped stamp- or hammer-marks on the flat bottom of the tips at their rear ends) won’t show.
One tip was worse than the other. Neither would have been acceptable for a show car (as the current project will be) that had the pipes and tips hanging down below the rear panel as was the stock configuration.
The dings could/can be dollied-out and re-polished, with the unexpected “Pypes” logo also polished away, but why should such parts have to be modified by the user?.

Very expensive for what you are getting. The standard Borla tip will not work with a receiver trailer hitch installed on a Jeep Wrangler. Thus the turndown Chrome Exhaust Tip is required. I could have looked around locally to find something cheaper.
It really didn’t need to be chrome plated. I purchased it because of compatability with the Borla cat back system. Unfortunately with everything installed, it hit on the trailer hitch, so I ended up cutting about an inch and a half off the end of the tailpipe.
Since I am not the origianal owner of the vehicle, it is possible that the catalytic converter had been changed (possibly longer) with the end result pushing the end of the tailpipe back.
The reason I ordered this item (2) was to dress up the appearance of my classic Thunderbird. I received excellent advice from an online chat with Auto Anything. Not only does it enhance the look of my car, but it sounds so much better as well! A superior product.
These tips look fantastic on a 1940 Ford coupe. They are very good quality and fit the 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipe perfect. Would buy them again. My friend is going to order them also.

So the problem with this is that it is not 2. 5 inch. The end of it is rolled, and looks great, but the rolled edge makes this about 2 in diameter at the very end. So its like having a 2 inch metal ring at the end of you 2.
5 inch exhaust. I just cant install that on my performance exhaust. Looks nice though.
Had a custom dual exhaust with a pair of Flowmaster 50 Delta Flows and these tips installed on my 03 Crown Vic. They look great, are nice and mirror shiny, have a drain hole on the bottom at the end.
These arent cheap China tips. They give a nice low rumble to my exhaust.

This piece is very hi quality material and manufacturing. It looks great too. It took about 45 minutes to install only because I shortened the factory pipe 3” to tuck the tip in a bit. All the time was cutting the pipe with a hacksaw.

I used these tips on a 4/5 dropped single cab short bed full size Chevy and ran them out behind the tires. The tips look great but THEY ARE LOUD! The truck was already loud with the exhaust axle dumped before but these are megaphones that give it a completely different sound now.
It’s a sunny day tire smoker and not a daily driver so it works for what I use it for. Overall great look and quality as always from Magnaflow.
The tips are arrived in about 3 days. They looked great in the box but better installed on my car. Overall they made a great addition to my 67Mustang Vert. They also improved the sound of the car
I purchased two of these tips and had them installed onto the stock exhaust on my 2008 Crown Victoria P71. I had to have 2″ to 2. 5″ pipe adapters installed on the current tailpipes in order to have these tips welded on.
These tips look mean! I love the way they stick out from under that rear bumper. The polished stainless finish is beautiful. These tips deepen the tone of the exhaust note and help to project the sound out the rear.

I actually purchased these to replace the factory tip on my FR-S. The length is perfect and the exit OD is a perfect fit for the exhaust cut-outs on the FR-S. I would imagine they would also work great on the BRZ as well.
Although these are weld-on tips, I actually slotted mine with 4 slots, using an angle grinder. I then used t-bolt band clamps to fasten them and they worked perfectly. I’m sure you could also use a couple of standard 2-1/4 exhaust clamps to fasten them as well.
All in all, the quality is great and I felt the price was right. If you’re looking to dress up your ride, I don’t think you can go wrong with these.

I absolutely love this tip! Didn’t expect the huge, raised MBRP logos on the sides but they really add to the look under the car. I was looking at SLP dual wall tips but the price was outlandish! each tip is $80! These will change the sound of your car, that’s all there is to it.
My 2001 Mustang GT has a noticably louder idle and is much louder under load. I’m extremely happy with these and would not hesitate to buy them again if mine get damaged.
I WAS UNABLE TO INSTALL THESE 2-12/2″ ENTER SIZE BECAUSE THE THICK DOUBLE WALL RESTRICTED THEM TO OWNLY GO ON MY 2-1/2″ EXHAUST, SLIGHTLY. MOST CANS ARE SINGLE THICK AND WILL WORK. I HAD TO BUY 3″ TIPS AND SPOT WELD THEM ON MY CUSTOM EXHAUST.

The overall finish and appearance was great, but for the size of the truck, it was too small of a tip, but that’s not Flowmaster’s fault. My issue was, as a few others have mentioned, the bolt feels like it’s going to break when it’s being tightened.
I had to stop because I didn’t want the bolt to snap so the tip rattled just barely. I’m sure it could tighten completely, but I was beginning to strip the bolt and didn’t want to have to weld it on.

Beautiful super solid piece that looks spectacular. The install was less than easy as the slip fit was very difficult to get the clamp to bend it to the pipe and hold it snugly.
Imo, they could have been made in a thicker/heavier guage wall thickness for the price. Other than that they look nice on my 69 chevelle 3″ dual straight exit exhaust.
