Awesome side pipes ran them off a sbc 350 engine into long tube headers, 3 inch collector adapter to 2. 5 inch pipe 15 inches long stright to side pipes. I was impressed how quite they are! Perfect sound for me and if you want louder just hit the gas.

Came in quickly but only the pipes no mounting kit. Called and they could not supply mounting kit that should have been with even though box was not damaged. Look like they just didn’t put it in on purpose, and then told me if I returned it no more were available.

loud pipes if that’s what you’re looking for. they were probably a bit too loud, given feedback from buddies i rode with (if they were behind me they had to ride on my left side because of the sound).

Installed on a 15 FXSB. The instructions are well laid out and I was able to install the pipes without much problem. I did have to round out the mounting plate holes so that there was a bit of adjustment.

After securing to the head, the top pipe mount holes were about an 1/8 of an inch off. I could have forced it, but would have likely torqued on the head. The only other issue was the exhaust gasket. The stock gasket is the recommended gasket by V&H, but is essentially crushed by the pipe with has a blunt end.

The stock pipe has a tapered mouth for which the gasket was designed. The seals were fairly new, as I only had 1200 miles on the bike and were pliable. I would recommend new seals when doing this. I did the torque on the head in 3 stages instead of 2 because of the crushing effect of the gasket.

Time will tell how well it holds up. Otherwise the pipes are what they should be.

2014 HD CVO Breakout. Revzilla got these to me fast. Removal of old exhaust/installation of new took 2. 5 hours including installing V&H FuelPak. Time included having to drop OilBud oil cooler to access front pipe sensor connection.

Easy install. Not V&H’s issue but hardest part and most time consuming was rear head/rear nut exhaust mount. Don’t know if it’s specific only to my model bike/110 engine but was tough to get to while not marking up chrome oil tank.

Pipes are a bit louder than expected but no complaints. sounds sick. Highly reccomend these pipes.

Not impressed with this brand. Sound is great but the quality is not. The x-pipe arrived twisted, so when you align it to the muffs the front ends are not level. The welds on the muffs are pretty rough, look like mild steel instead of stainless, not at all like the polished pictures.

The extensions over the axle from the muffs back are not even, so one side will not make it to the rear valance. You are better off buying just the muffs by themselves and having a shop make the connections.

You can always tell when a company takes complete pride in a product because every aspect of the product you purchased from them has stringent quality control. Like the title states, the magna flow exhaust kit is a good fitting kit but when a company does not pay attention to details like the weld on the muffler hangers, it shows that the company needs to pay more attention to quality control.

I am Sure that most people won’t mind this small detail, but it makes me wonder if there are going to be issues with internal parts of their products. Or maybe they should get someone who can weld and takes pride in their welding techniques.

Installed on 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab for 1/4 of a mile. The package did not include any detailed installation instructions, so we improvised and found the two page instructions online. We are fortunate enough to have a 2-post lift to work off, which made mocking up the system easier, however I feel it was straightforward enough to have done off a floor creeper.

We laid the kit out as described and everything appeared to be straight forward. We did have to remove the spare tire, as the second exhaust pipe was rubbing against it, the instructions do mention trying to push the tire over to give more clearance, but we could not get enough.

After leaving everything loose, we lined all the pipes and tightened all the fasteners. When we started the truck we had a terrible exhaust leak where the after market pipe meets the factory flange. We removed and attempted to realign with no better luck, the flange need to be welded/tilted more forward at the top in order for it to seal up correctly.

We called a local exhaust shop and they said to run it over. We headed down the road and made it about a 1/4 of a mile and the primary tube slipped out of the front of the muffler. We lost the entire system less the primary tube attached to the factory flange.

We had the clamp tightened to 135 ft. lbs. but we either did not have enough pipe into the muffler union and/or the binding pulled it apart. I would not trust the clamps themselves, I would ensure every joint was welded.

I also would make marks on the pipes to ensure they are inserted the entire length. The little time we got to hear the exhaust, it sounded good. Had a nice rumble at idle and good tone when we pulled out of the drive, unfortunately we only got to use it for a few minutes.

Installed it on my 08 Suburban 5. 3. Sound is nice and deep but not much louder than stock when idling. When accelerating you do definitely hear it’s not stock anymore. Not head turning loud but great sound.

Just about perfect for a daily. Did however install the 5” gibson tips and not the ones that came with the kit. Fit and finish absolutely on point! Instructions absolutely garbage.

I didn’t want something too loud to annoy the neighbors but you could still hear, and this is just that. With stock cats and H-pipe, it drones the most at 2k RPM, but it’s not loud enough to bother and I’ve had it over 20k miles without being annoyed by it.

I think it’s as loud as it can be without being annoying on a long drive. It burbles some with highish RPM coasting which I was surprised with stock cats. Note is good, the American Muscle YouTube video represents it well.

The installation was a little annoying. It’s pretty tight around the axle and I had to try a few different times to get it to not collide with the axle over bumps. One of the hangers on one side does not line up and was not usable, but I was able to just leave it disconnected without any problems whatosever.

The tailpipe hangers have small set screws to lock them in place which is pretty unreliable. I had loctited one which lasted a while and eventually loosened itself, which is immediately obvious because it buzzes around 2k RPM.

A spot weld would solve it easily, but I haven’t gotten around do it. The hanger bars are also way longer than you need, if you don’t trim them to length with a hacksaw it can sometimes vibrate against the tailpipe.

As with any catback, it does essentially nothing for performance.

1st off great look and quality. Fit was perfect. Directions from magnaflow a little lacking. In step were it tells you to install mufflers or delete pipes it does not specify that there is a driver side and passenger, the only difference is the bracket on 1 side is little taller than other that’s driver.

Note no mufflers sounds great with active exhaust and no drone tech. Pricey looks great, great sound. Set car alarm off at Logans made me smile. Performance feels like it but not sure. I put this on in my garage on jacks and jack stands, just saying can be done.

Took about 3-4 hours to do having some issues getting old off and new parts on right side. Remember lub goes long way with rubber.

The system came in a large box with no dents but the bag of parts and bolts was ripped so the 2 small set screws went all the way to the bottom under the foam packing. No Biggie Everything was there and the pipes and tips were protected.

We jacked the rear of the mustang up as high as we could go and set on jack stands leaving the axle hanging and removed the rear tires. We also had the Mustang’s rear over the grass which sloped down from the driveway, that gave us maybe another 6-8 inches of clearance behind the axle.

We then pretty much followed the removal process like the video in that order. The only modification we had to do was grind some of the metal off the 2 J-Clips that hold the passenger hanger bracket.

The 2 rear pipes went easily over the axle with the tires removed. We installed just like in the video. in that order and snugged things up and adjusted pipes for clearance and fit. We also centered the tailpipes better than in the video.

That was a concern upon purchase that it wouldn’t be symmetrical. We then torqued all the clamps as listed in the instructions. We started around 10am and finished by 2pm and we were not rushing. My daughter was doing a lot of the work since it’s her car.

The grinding of those clips easily took 30mins just in grinding and test fitting. We only wanted to take off what we had to, so a lot of back and forth. Sound Level. @ 1ft from OEM tip 67db at idle and 85db at some throttle.

With the Magnaflow it was 64db at idle(on either side) and 88db at some throttle. We both love the sound from the inside and with the top down cruising or accelerating. We shall assume the performance gain is a couple HRSPRS.

Overall we are totally pleased and from my daughter’s grin it was well worth the $$$$, so 5 Stars(or better 4. 5). I can’t give Loudness and Performance 5 Stars being that it’s not too loud and we have unknown gain.

Ford OEM back ordered until end of September so went aftermarket. Wasn’t looking for performance or tone, just a non leaking system. Kept stock resonator and sound is definitely deeper with minimal drone under normal acceleration.

If you punch it, you will make noise and it’s a throaty raspy tone, but not annoying. No drone once you hit sixth gear. Perfect fit and finish. Honestly, the truck should leave factory with this system.

First, the exhaust is great. No drone, great quality, and sounds better than any youtube video shows. I called Summit, and explained I had the 6. 5 ft bed and big cab. I was told this P/N would fit. The exhaust I got ended up being 12.

3″ too short, and I had to add a section of 3″ pipe. Annoyed is an understatement. Under reasonable circumstances, I’d ask “who would measure a brand new part?”. But apparently, you need to, and especially with this kit.

In order to get the factory exhaust out, you MUST cut it. So, if you get the wrong part. and you already cut your stock exhaust off. you could end up like me and scramble to get over to the part store to get a mid pipe/clamps.

Or, cruise with no muffler until summit replaces your exhaust kit with the right length. Be warned. Make sure you have the right part number.

Wow. That’s all I can say… Wow… I put a muffler delete pipe on my last Wrangler (2 door soft top JK) and I HATED it. This came on my pre-loved JKU with a hardtop and I couldn’t be happier with it. The cold cranks sound GREAT and the sound of it when I’m rowing through the gears of my 6 speed MT is truly impressive.

What’s better is that it’s got almost *zero* highway drone. I’m a travel nurse and drive anywhere from 3 – 6 hours away from home twice a week and I’ve never once been annoyed with it. In fact, there’s times I’d let the back windows down when taking off when the light turns green because it sounds that good.

Parking deck/tunnel driving? Wowzers. It has a nice deep tone. I would describe my previous muffler delete pipe as a “growl”, “roar”, or “rumble” but this is something truly different. The upgraded cat and muffler give it a really deep note/tone that’s hard to describe in a review box.

Here’s what I suggest: buy this right now and have it installed so you can hear what I’m trying to describe. It’s truly awesome. As far as “performance gain”… I mean, it’s an exhaust system connected to a 3.

6L V6 motor in a Jeep Wrangler… Slapping this pipe under your rig isn’t gonna win you any races or save you tons of MPGs. If anything it’ll make your MPGs worse due to your heavy acceleration just to hear it… purr(?).

I dunno, it’s great lol.

Overall quality of the Borla exhaust exceeded expectations. The exhaust was well packaged as I carefully unwrapped and sorted all parts based on the detailed instructions. The finish was perfect. Overall installation took less than 40 mins.

All parts easily fit together with little effort. The install was completed at ground level with no lift or jacks. Overall sound vs stock is amazing. Defiantly a noticeable deep sound vs stock. You defiantly hear the exhaust when you get on it however at cruising speed the sound has a nice tone but it is not loud.

Very satisfied with the overall purchase.

First heard this sound on a Tacoma leaving a showroom back around 06. Loved it. Finally said I am doing this just for me. First, SType is NOT too loud – in fact, ambient noise in the shop ruined my attempt at a video.

Sounds nice a capable at idle, just a hint of rumble. Under load, it’s song comes on about 2500 to 3200 RPM, and is barely louder than my wrapped inlet pipe on the K&N air filter, then it drops out unless you stay on it.

Launch moderately, and it’s not obtrusive. Cruising at speed, you’d never know it. Absolutely NO DRONE. Haven’t had it long enough for serious measure, but first tank picked up 1 mpg highway. Love it.

I receive my exhaust in about four business days. The packaging was well done and boxed well. All the hardware was included with instructions and it was a easy install. I have the old ones off and the new ones on in less than an hour.

Be aware that once slip on’s are installed there will be some odor in a meeting from the exhaust which is the oil’s burning off. After about 30 minutes of riding the smell goes away. I have the old ones off and the new ones on in less than an hour.

Got TAB Performance B. A. M. Sticks withZombie Baffles and my wife hated their sound. She didn?t even want to ride. Swapped out for these with the performance baffles and she thanked me. Can?t speak to the regular baffles but the hi flows on these mufflers sound great.

Deep tone and loud enough that I don?t feel let down. Combine with Rinehart Slimlines for a really kick ass look and sound.

This review is in regards to the install, and will perhaps add some insight that isn’t mentioned in other reviews. I installed this on a a 2017 BMW R1200GS, but my review covers any bike with lots of miles on the odometer.

First, the quality is top notch. it just drips with quality from the moment you open the box. As far as install; in all the reviews I read, everyone mentioned that this is a super fast install (on an R1200GS anyhow).

However, if your bike has thousands of miles on her, you may struggle with some frozen/bolts as I did. The very first bolt I tried to remove would not budge, and after the little T-25 head stripped, I spent 2 hours with a bolt extraction kit trying to get it out.

It finally just snapped and I was able to move forward with install with no further issues (Akrapovic provided a new bolt in the kit). In fact, if it weren’t for that one corroded bolt on my OEM exhaust, it would have taken 30 minutes to install.

Other than that, the quality is awesome, it looks bad ass, and I am sure I will love the sound when I finally ride it in a few days.
