-Awesome build quality and materials. I feel better now that I’ve replaced my rusty “custom” exhaust with this 304 system. She’s loud though, and I knew it would be. It exits out the side, so naturally it’s gonna be louder in the cab.

Not straight pipe loud and clapping like some of these NC boys, but it’s too loud for a family truck. I’m still gonna give it 5 stars because it’s obvious this isn’t a quite system. -So, I installed a 3″ Borla resonator in the straight section.

Huge improvement. My wife seems happy, and my 1 year old still loves riding in his car seat. You hear it under acceleration, but the noise level really drops when you cruise. -I’m very happy with the system now.

Looks mean, sounds mean, and the resonator took that unwanted noise level down just enough. Ended up wet sanding the tips with some 800 grit to give them a brushed finished. Goes with my no chrome theme.

Exhaust was easy to install, other than having to cut the front pipe even though they said no cut needed for my truck. This exhaust is LOUD! Very loud in cab, which I don’t mind so much but I’m sure would be a little much for most people.

Quality exhaust though, especially for the price.

Sounds Great, reduces drone over other chambered mufflers, which was a surprise. Overall driving is quieter in the cabin (because it still has cats and all factory exhaust), but make no mistake, it is way louder behind the car.

Under bridges and in tunnels, you can really notice the loudness. Does have a but of drone at 1800 under load. I liked it. Driver’s side pipe clamp would not fully tighten, not even with an impact gun.

I don’t know if the pipe was not “crushing” into place or if the clamp was not great. So there was a little play in that joint, but it can’t fall out. But should be tight and will have to be looked into.

The car did feel a little freer, but not a huge gain. It’s only a muffler. I imagine that a full exhaust would make a bigger difference.

I haven’t seen a review on here that does this axle-back justice, so here goes. Before we get into that though, just want to say that stating this muffler ‘is not too loud’ (as stated in most reviews) is a horrible misrepresentation of the product.

Both tone and volume are significantly and noticably different from stock. A more accurate statement is that the exhaust is not obnoxious. If you are holding off on buying this over concerns that it won’t be loud enough, then dismiss that concern and pull the trigger.

In fact if you have a convertible, I can guarantee you that you don’t want to go any louder. The tone is a low, rich bassy rumble. The sweet spot for the system is in the mid RPM range and the crackles it produces when you rev are eargasmic.

Pulls under bridges and overpasses are awesome! I don’t even listen to music when I drive anymore, I just enjoy the burble of the exhaust whether I am cruising around town or screaming down the highway.

I wouldn’t say the fitment was great, but it was workable. Passenger side was much easier than the driver side. On the driver side I needed to loosen up a bunch of connections and wiggle things around for a while.

After getting everything in place on the driver’s side I also had to go back and adjust a few times to keep the tip from resting on the bumper. For final thoughts I think supporting mods can also have a pretty big impact on individual experiences.

If you have already done some work to increase airflow into the engine (i. e. cai, headers, throttle body, etc. ) you will probably have better results than someone who slaps this on a bone stock car.

Overall, extremely satisfied. Would recommend to anyone looking to enhance their driving experience. My stang truly feels like a beast now.

I absolutely LOVE this exhaust! I searched a long time and watched countless youtube videos of various exhausts for my Ralliart but kept returning to Borla bc of its sound, high-quality looks, and fantastic reputation.

I had it installed in a half hour by a local exhaust shop and when i fired up the car it brought a grin to everyone’s faces. The sound of Borla is truly unique and in my opinion the best out there. Deep, rich and refined, not raspy or too annoyingly loud like others on the market.

This exhaust is better than I would’ve expected. I’ve noticed decent gains from the exhaust but it’s the sound that is amazing. The exhaust has a clean sound but fierce when you get on it. Would totally recommend!.

Such a wonderful product. I was so excited receiving this. It sounds amazing and it was so easy to install. The step by step guide is incredibly helpful. It came very well packaged as well.

A very nice and refined sound, not as loud as it is rated in my opinion, but plenty loud enough. I slightly deeper tone than the American Thunder series I had on before with the factory over axle pipes.

Fitment is pretty tight and the kit came with a panhard brace spacer kit with bolts to lower the left side of the panhard brace down a bit for clearance on the driver’s side. They don’t fit exactly right even after much adjustment, but they are pretty dang close.

The sound is great with factory everything forward of these tubes. I imagine it will get louder and better overall once I put my long tubes back on with x-pipe and high flow cats plus cams in the future when I can find a reasonable price for them.

Obviously reasonable is not right now for those unfortunately. I caught these on clearance about two or three years ago and they have been sitting on the shelf but I finally installed last night. Very happy with them.

I also recommend getting a set of stainless steel exhaust muffler hangers, for in total, to change those out while you’re under there. I did these in conjunction with fixing an upper control arm a bushing and lock nut broke on this.

First of all, the install was very straightforward, the welds looked really good, and the alignment spot on. I did the install by myself in my very cramped apartment garage that the car barely fits in, and it took me around 1-1.

5 hours to get the stock exhaust off, and around 1 hour to get the new one in and lined up. Tip: don’t fully tighten up all the exhaust clamps (Especially the midpipe) till you have everything fully lined up, it will save you a lot of time, trust me.

Starting with the cold start: It is ungodly loud. It is so loud that it makes me genuinely feel bad for everyone within a half mile of me. A lot louder than I anticipated, but it is a bit raspy and very violent sounding, and it is a wonderful tone that I could listen to all day long.

After the car warms up the tone gets a lot deeper and sounds very rich and full. Warm idle sounds really nice too but is very quiet. Driving: There is no drone. The only drone I experience is below 1500rpm, but for highway and around town speeds there is no drone whatsoever, and coming from an E85 straight piped Focus ST, that is a blessing.

In the cabin with the windows up, low throttle or cruising there isn’t much noise. The wind noise is louder, you could have a conversation only whispering. But, when you want to have fun, that loud pedal on the right can get LOUD and has such a beautiful tone all through the rev range.

The only cons I can think of: 1. ) The tubing was COVERED in a nasty grease, probably to prevent rust, but still smelled awful and got everywhere (not to mention it was inside the tubing as well, so expect a weird smell for a little while as it burns off, but it is not overwhelming in the slightest.

) 2. ) The tips aren’t very well polished and they lose their shiny finish VERY quickly, I have washed the car once and driven it less than 100 miles since the install and they are already dulling, but it is not that big of a concern as some metal polish should do the trick.

You’re buying the exhaust for the sound anyways, not how pretty the exhaust tips are all the time. Overall, I think this exhaust has an incredible value and is WELL worth the price. Other options are well over $1,000 for a comparable volume/tone.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking around for a really nice exhaust without wanting to break the bank. 10/10 would ruin my neighbors lives Monday through Saturday at 5:45AM every day again.

MBRP cat back race version,3 inch exhaust with the carbon fiber quad tips. So I have been researching exhaust for my car for awhile 2019 dodge challenger scat pack 392. I originally wanted the magna flow X Mod exhaust $3000.

I like the sound of the Borla atack $2000. I came across MBRP and they were offering a 3 inch, stainless steel and carbon fiber quad tips exhaust $1000. I like that they are from Canada because that’s where my car was built ???? And it is one hell of a deal compared to the competitors price.

There’s not a lot of good videos for this exhaust. So it was hard to judge the exhaust sound online. Iam EXTREMELY happy with this exhaust. It simply sounds Insane I feel like I’m driving a NASCAR! My car sounded on a scale 1 to 10 when it was stock about three or four.

Now it’s a 10! All I can say is it’s very loud, it crackles and pops it’s amazing. It turned my car into a Monster.

I am very impressed with the sound and quality of this exhaust system. I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading different reviews and listening to many you tube clips on the sound. For an Axle back system I am really happy with the upgrade.

It brings a little European Porsche /BMW type of raspy sound from the v6. You know it is not stock but no annoying highway drone. It sounds great on cold start and window down driving. I can hear some crackle under deceleration.

I recommend this system.

I’m quite pleased with the Borla I recently purchased. It’s slightly louder at idle & low revs,but comes alive higher in the rev range. My butt dyno tells me it puts out more power. Cruising on the highway,there’s no drone.

I haven’t seen an increase in mpg,but that’s fine. I’m happy I bought this. The price was the best I found.

Now I may be a newbie so yes installation wasn’t a pure breeze for me but I did it myself and am very happy with my finished work. Sounds great and agressive. I’m now looking for a solid downand midpipe to make it real mean.

But Summit may not be the place still looking though.

Pros. Fit. 10 out of 10 Time. 4 hours Easy to install. Sounds great Cons Packaging 3 out of 10 Very poorly put in the box it held up through shipping but every thing was just sliding around. Only the polished parts had bubble wrap and minimal packing paper.

Multiple parts came with dents becouse of the loose packing. Welds 6 out of 10. Welds over all good will hold but the were two spots of feed wire just hanging off the welds lost of splatter onto the polished parts witch for 800$+ should not be like that it should have been cleaned up.

Things to note if you have a stock cat you will need t get new bolts for this kit witch should be included for this price. Over all out of the box was not pleased with how parts looked and the poor QC and bad packing but once it’s on its great no complaints but one of my tips do have a nice dent in it so that’s nice.

It sounds good but it keeps coming apart. The bolts on hinge won’t stay together so I had to have it welded together but now it rattles when I take off. I feel it isn’t a well put together exhaust. And it seems like my car lost power by changing from factory to This custom exhaust.

I feel it was a waste of my money and now need to go to Honda to have a NEW factory exhaust put back on. Other than the sound of it, I DO NOT like it and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Have had nothing but Good Compliments since purchasing the Magnaflow Exhaust System. Looks & Especially The Sound. Not too Loud at idle or cruising. Will Sound Off under Aggressive Acceleration. Was considering the Apexi catback system for my 99 Accord Coupe V6 but Very glad I chose the Magnaflow.

sounds great, BUT, it is a little too loud/quiet at times. Loudness example: I work early, and starting up my 2017 accord sport in my garage makes a SOMEWHAT loud roar; idle is somewhat loud on cold start ups too.

hopefully neighbors don’t complain. Quiet example: gotta rev past 3000 rpm to hear anything on the road for these silly CVT transmissions. Plus, if I want to REALLY hear the exhaust, I have to switch my car to Sport mode(with paddle shifters) and manually allow the RPMs to rise higher.

Other than that, DRIVE MODE tends to “save gas” and will not raise the RPMS above 3500ish, so you won’t really hear it often. Not exactly sure on how loud it is if I am another driver sitting next to this exhaust though.

long story short, the exhaust is loud at idle/start up, but somewhat quiet if you don’t kick it into sport mode. On another note; better make sure you have tools to remove the rubber hangers. Jacking up the car and trying to remove by hand while lying on your back will not work :).

pretty easy install and it looked great. The sound is awesome and subtle at the same time on idle there is almost no sound until you hit about 3000 RPM and then you hear the sweet sound. It was for a honda accord v6 2017.

A great overall system. It was simple to put on the car. The growl and pop from the system under throttle is engaging and fun. When you are not on the throttle the noise is minor at best and tolerable for daily driving especially at freeway speeds.

It took me longer to jack the car up high enough to get my big head and belly under it, once jacked up it was so easy to install the cat back Borla exhaust. All together it took me less than two hours to jack the car up install the exhaust and get the car back on the ground.

The car sounds great , I will be adding a K tune I already have the cold air intake installed.

Super happy with This Catback system! It fit with no issues to the mating stock parts and looks awesome and of course sounds perfect. Iv got no complaints. The website was easy to use and customer service great.

I will shop again in the future.

I have a 1999 5. 3 LS Silverado. A previous owner installed a cat-back dual exhaust that had restrictive bends, was loud and droned. My new Borla exhaust was installed at a muffler shop only because the P.

O. cut off two truck mounts. What a difference, NO drone and the sound level is perfect for a daily driver (happy neighbors). It not only sounds good/quieter, but my truck also has a very noticeable increase in power and performance.

I haven’t done a MPG test yet, still having fun at full throttle.

2nd set of Borla S type exhause for a Vette, great streetable sound. This set, packing was absolutely terrible! Missing “ALL” clamps in the kit and both ends of 1 muffler had to be reset bc there were areas of small damage during shipping.

Box wasn’t terrible upon arrival, everything inside seemed to make noise! BLUF, exhaust was installed by dealership, parts cost me extra, muffler in/out was put back to true round and it’s Borla, they sound incredible.

Never expected this from Borla, 3 stars is best case bc of shipping damage and terrible, terrible packing. BTW – packing for the C6 kit, perhaps 5 years ago was “excellent”! Credit to JEGS, I called them and they offered cost refund for the clamps.

It was easier on my end to buy the clamps, install the kit vice return the mess.

My C7 Corvette has an A&A supercharger, Tony Mamo ported throttle body, headers and catless X pipe, but was running through stock mufflers. I added this axle back Borla ATAK set-up with the black tips and the sound changes the dynamics of driving the car.

It just gives you a completely different outlook to driving. The system is quiet for cruising and highway with no drone, but blip the throttle and it’s something else. Doesn’t take much to get that awesome sound.

I gave a 5-Star overall rating, but only 4 stars on Bang for Your Buck (it’s not cheap) and 4 stars on Performance Gain because I have no way of measuring that. The Corsa is an easy install, with good fitment, and weighs way less than the OEM behemoth.

The large black tips are it’s showing point and are further enhanced by the Corsa Logo. At cold startup the exhaust is a little loud but settles to a low pleasant growl after warmup. I have not noticed any drone at highway speed, this allows you to hold a conversation at normal level.

Punch the pedal and you’ll hear the exhaust come to life, you’ll get another dose of that experience when the transmission downshifts going uphill. After driving more than 3,000 miles I could honestly say that Corsa makes a quality product which I have no worry recommending to others.

Installed in about an hour in the driveway on ramps. Exhaust is fairly loud at startup but is quiet at cruising speeds. Aboslutely no droning! I pull a small trailer across most of the Eastern US so it works perfect for me.

So far, in the first 1,000 miles it looks like I have a. 5 mpg increase. Do yourself a favor and buy an extra rubber isolator and a band clamp to connect to the cat (doesn’t come with one). Putting a little grease inside the isolators helped the hangars slide in much easier too.

Exhaust hangs a little low, wouldn’t recommend for off road.

So I’m going to write a very honest review on this cat back system. My current set up is Stainless Works 1-3/4” headers w/ off road y pipe paired with the Corsa 14393. The headers I had did delete the resonator, which made the Corsa Sport to Corsa Extreme.

This system paired with headers and no resonator is extremely LOUD! Pretty much obnoxiously loud that will catch a ton of attention. Be prepared to listen the “helicopter” sound as you drive by barriers on the highway.

Sounds good but just too loud for my liking, it’s got a really loud cold start but at idle it has a nice quiet burble sound to it. Drone is definitely there between 1500-2000 RPM range, but it is not present before or after that.

I ended up taking my truck to an exhaust shop to custom fit my OEM resonator to my exhaust system. This made a huge difference in sound. I love the sound now! The sound is now more tolerable, cold start is still pretty loud and idle sound still sounds good, but just driving the sound isn’t as obnoxiously loud anymore and the drone at 1500-2000 RPM’s is no longer there! This system has no drone at all with the resonator but you can obviously hear it when you stomp on it! I never got to try this system with the stock headers and cats.

As far as installation it’s pretty easy to do on the floor. You will need to lift up the truck a little bit to remove the stock cat back. Install took around 30 minutes to an hour. I would recommend this system to anyone with a F150 5.

this Axle-Back Exhaust for my 2022 impreza is excellent in terms of look and sound. the impreza is my daily driver and this particular axleback offers the perfect sound in pitch, tone, and loudness for my daily commute, a perfect ncie hum just to let you know the car still has an imternal combustion engine.

the only cons reported are slight fitment issues as the top bolt hole needed to have the oem bolt hammered into it in order to have enough threads to catch the stock bolt, its essentially a stud now, and the muffler does sit very close to the OEM heatshield, thankfully it does not come in contact though.

even when shifting the exhaust around, overall its a great piece, and the pricing from elite race fab was the best on the internet. great buy if you’re in the market for an exhaust for your hatchback impreza.

I ordered the Borla exhaust for my 2017 Subaru Impreza. The price was the best on the internet. Shipping was only a couple days after ordered. The exhaust was as described and easy to install. Installation only took a couple hand tools and about 20 minutes.

Love the service. Love the product.

Exhaust is Great. Has a nice deep tone. Fits all 9th gen accords whether it’s the i4 or v6. Would’ve given it a 5 but magnaflow has to get better with giving customers updates about their order during delivery.

But besides the delivery process being poor and not having 24/7 customer service I recommend to get the magnaflow exhaust.

Usually when I do something to the car I dont really get a response from my wife. But after I installed the exhaust I asked her to start the car. When it started she had a grin from ear to ear and said she loved the way it sounds and looks.

She ran and got her phone so she could send pics to our son. Needless to say this is an excellent exhaust system.

I had purcahse these about 2 years ago for my car, together with RV-6 PCD, RV-6 J-pipe AND IT SIMPLY SOUNDS AMAZING!!, this exhaust together with the set up mentioned will give you a smooth ride and quiet without any drones, and when you want to hear the car it will also be loud for presence, but not to the point of exageration, just right so you don’t bother other people.

Easy install. Hardest part was separating the muffler from the pipe after removing the clamp thanks to rust. 3 cans of liquid wrench and a lot of persuasion and a little heat and it finally came off.

One thing that I wish the “black series” would come with are black clamps to match the rest of the setup. It’s a little weird having a nice black exhaust look broken up by a few visible silver clamps.

I prefer this setup over a fully welded Axel back for the simple fact that you can make minor adjustments to make everything look even. Straight out of the box, the muffler had a few small dents and scrapes in it.

Nothing that I think will degrade the way the exhaust sounds. Not significant enough for me to return the item but still may be an issue for others.

MBRP axle back was both priced well and easy to install. It took maybe all of 40 minutes to complete. The sound was exactly what my wife wanted and I was impressed by it as well. At idle you can hear the nice rumble sound and at highway speed you can tell the difference but it is not overwhelming.

The only downfall I had with the install was with the clamps. They would tighten enough and the exhaust would start to tilt down and I had to reset the tips to ensure they were even. Having a welding machine, I reset the exhaust again, tighten clamps and welded it.

Easy as 1 2 3. Overall I would buy again and looking to get one for my Diesel JLU. Good product and would recommend.

Made well and easy to install. If you don’t have sway bar bushing spacers. This doesn’t fit without modification to the hangers if you have the falcon 3. 3 shocks and there sway bar spacers installed.

This isn’t by any means a bad review just giving people heads up that might have my setup. I believe if I had a stock setup it would have gone way faster. I did manage to make some adjustments and make it work.

I’ll write a review when I get a chance to take it for a long drive on the high way.
