20 Best Essential Oils For Facial Steamer (2023 Updated)

I have wanted a steamer to do home facials for awhile but was never quite impressed with what was available until I saw the Rivo, and it has not disappointed. I’ve used it several times now and it makes my skin feel so hydrated and plump.

I just turned 50 and have noticed that my skin is definitely dryer than before so it’s really nice to have something that helps so much. I have used it prior to doing a clay mask to open my pores and then after wards to close my pores and it is like a mini-spa treat for me.

Water resevoir doesn’t empty all the way so store where ants can’t get to. Last time I went to use my steamer it was invaded by ants. Took two steam cycles and emptying out three times to get the little imvaders out.

Even shook out the queen😮They had set up colony! Anyways all is well now and I have my Rivo stored in an enclosed container now. Noticed the difference in my skin after first use!.

Hazardous!!!! Do not buy this product! My wife used hers only 3 times and on the third (and final) use, the steamer malfunctioned, water leaked down inside from the steam well, nearly electrocuted her, and shot hot water out of the top at her face in a stream and burned her skin from over a foot away.

She is a hair and makeup influencer and has used plenty of tools and this was not a user error. This could have permanently scared her and ruined her career. When I picked it up after it had been unplugged, the water was all through the machine and leaking out onto the table.

Luckily the first thing she did was unplug it from the wall or this could have led to severe injury or death! Don’t take the risk people, there are probably safer alternatives out there that are made better than this cheap garbage.

The Plum Beauty Spa Facial Steamer works well to open up my pores and remove any dirt and blackheads off. The steamer works great and you just need to open the back part of the steamer. There is a small tank to put in the water inside and you only need half to less than full to be able to have the steamer to work.

I use mine any time of the day and I just cleanse my face with a cleanser and remove any leftover makeup. I just fill in the tank, plug in the cord and turn on the switch. There is a little wait time for the water to warm up but it only takes a minute.

The steam feels relaxing and I can see using this during Fall and Winter more. I like that it cleanses my face so well and makes applying skincare or makeup so easily. I feel even relaxed too. I would recommend this to anyone and is simple to use.

My wife had never used a facial steamer and I noticed she had some issues with dry skin here in AZ so I showed her the new Vanity Planet facial steamer she had to try it out. Unboxing and first impressions: The steamer came in well packed and inside with it was the instruction manual and 3 attachments which you can use for essential oils, and that’s it.

We were both surprised that the device is so light weight, especially for its size, not overly large at all. There are also four suction cups on the bottom that help keep it in place so it doesn’t tip over during use.

Setting up and using: Getting it ready to use is pretty straight forward, just fill up the water bottle that’s under the cover on the back top side, and put it back in, place where you want and plug it in “the cord is a lot longer than we expected either”, then press the power button and wait a couple minutes.

The amount of steam produced is quite amazing; it’s a really heavy stream of steam coming out of the nozzle. It’s also pretty warm so you want to be careful not to get too close to the nozzle. The nozzle can also be moved up and down so you can aim it just right.

I love this product. Had no idea how much awful gunk was in my pores. It makes you feel like you are at a luxurious spa but you don’t have to leave home. Honestly, since I’ve been stuck in house for 410 days I haven’t been consistent with beauty rituals.

Depression set in a few months after pandemic started and lack of taking caring of my skin has wrecked it. Its going to take a while to fix it. There were no wrinkles before but now I’m not real excited about looking in mirror.

I was really excited to receive this item but my machine only blows out cold air and lasts for a total of 5 minutes before I have to refill the tank. After 8 emails back and forth, this company still has the audacity to ask me for pictures or videos of how my item is defected?? How would you see this in a video?? Additionally, they “can’t” accept returns that aren’t in original packaging.

This is the 3rd & BEST steamer I have ever used. I especially love the adjustable arm & head of steamer. My clients that are larger in size can now get a good flow of steam to their face. I also really like the feature for aromatherapy in the head of steamer & additional one in basket/refill opening.

Putting this steamer together was easy & the pieces fit in so snuggly it’s not going anyone. (I bought a much cheaper model from a different seller & in the middle of streaming one of the legs fell off!) Anyhow can’t say enough great things about this steamer except that I’m thrilled with my purchase.

This steamer is a MUST have. Our three spas love it because of the flexible steamer head. It stands taller then most steamers, the flexible head helps you to direct the steam where you need it. The mist of steam is fine and full.

I really wanted to love this steamer. When I place the handle in the perfect position to steam clients faces, the handle moves down slowly. I tried being okay with this but after a few months, it really is an issue.

I have to hold it a lot of times so that it doesn’t go down. I also don’t like that removing and adjusting back the glass jar takes extra effort to make sure it closes properly or the steam goes out from the sides.

I didn’t know how crazy this facial steamer was going to change my skin care routine. First keeping my skin flawless, second how easy I can incorporate it with everything else I put in my skin. For example if you have a skin care routine day/night you can have the steamer on for 15 mins and still apply everything else.

And finally how portable it is that I can take it with me anywhere. Amazing product, I 100% recommend.

I’ve used other steamers before but nothing compares to the CIRRA! this steamer does not leak like at all! Also, once I placed the steamer to my face for about 5 minutes I could instantly feel my pores unclogging and it definitely made my products absorb into my skin instantly with the therapeutic steam! This tool has been a great success for me. I love that he put it to multiple uses. I use it to moisturize and pamper my face to clean my pores and loosen blackheads, I also use it and the last thing is that with a few drops of essential oil I can use it to aromatize the spaces three uses in a single device.

The 3 oils I purchased from the direct Campo website don’t have much of a smell. I wonder if it is because they were on a 20% discount and lesser quality? I initially purchased the diffuser and an oil from a store at full price and that oil smelled lovely.

Not sure what happened here. I do love the diffuser – its of a very good quality.

I’ve been using essential oils off and on since the 1990’s and I tend to be very discerning about the quality of the oils I buy. I’ve been very impressed with their pure oils and I’ve also enjoyed their blends.

I recommend Campo’s oils and I plan to continue to buy them myself.

This is such a pleasant, soothing scent. There is a whisper of peppermint in the air that keeps me smiling. And I swear, Halo is helping to reduce the frequency of my migraines. I love it. I enjoy it everyday.

I have a fondness for the large bottle and the beautiful color with the glass dropper but I have an even larger fondness for the product inside. The scent of this Frankincense oil is clear and pure and has floral crispness to the medicinal scent that is strongest.

I diffuse it for stress reduction and clarity of the room. But I have also began to use it for tightening my skin on my neck. It not only feels warm and soothing (I only use a tiny bit in one dropperful) but it wafts up the scent which I think smells great.

I have other bottles of Radha products and immediately when I heard that Frankincense oil was going to be offered by this company I could not wait to try it because of the previous products and the exquisite quality of the therapeutic, completely natural oils.

I knew this Frankincense would be distilled from the leaves and would also be pure with no added ingredients. My youngest son was excited to open the mail when it came and instead of just opening the outside box, he tore into the contents as well and unwrapped the cellophane plastic protector over the bottle of the oil, then unscrewed the lid; before he even pulled the bottle to his face to sniff the contents he remarked “Oh, this smells good.

“. I honestly thought a 12 yo boy would think it had a distatseful smell. Anyway the point is, the second he opened the bottle, the scent was pure, heavy and strong and he could smell it without holding it up close and inhaling.

I will be diffusing this Frankincense often and as I sit here and type I feel the oil absorbed into my neck and it feels remarkable- however I have always read and heard that you should mix certain oils with a carrier oil.

In my case, I have no adverse reaction to direct oil to skin contact and to me it feels invigorating and tingly and tight but as a caution, I would tell people to test a small area first before using directly on the skin.

The product was delivered as advertised. I purchased this same product a few years ago (that is how long the bottle lasts when using for spot treating acne), and the dropper was glass. This go-around it is plastic.

I preferred the glass, but overall, this is a quality product for the price.

Cons : Beware if you buy this item, the instructions are really misleading. I have it for over a week now and still not sure how I am supposed to clean it. Also, you have to spend more money to buy distilled or deionized water.

It claims that the humidifier option runs for 40 minutes, however it’s more like 10 Pros: Really nicely designed, I love the versatily of it. I use the humidifier setting for my plants!.

I really like this steamer, some have not bene happy about the fact you need deironised water, it makes sense this is needed so it doesnt ruin the steamer, as normal water would, easy enough to buy in any supermarket in the car section, cheap enough too.

Great steamer, works well, is built well and looks nice too. Bigger than I expected but again a great steamer, used a few times now and I’m really happy. Would buy again and would recommend. Fixed a sore throat I had from singing too :).

So happy I got this, all 4 uses come in handy – especially the facial steamer which has massively improved my skincare routine and complexion! The towel warmer is amazing for those ‘at home’ pamper evenings, and I love the arometherapy and humidifier setting.
