20 Best Essential Oil For Hand Sanitizer (2023 Updated)

This is the only sanitizer I use. My daughter had leukemia as a toddler and this was the brand in the children’s hospital. If they trust it, it’s good enough for me. Plus, all the other scented stuff gives me headaches.

This one dries quickly and the sanitizer smell dissipates without leaving a lingering scent. I keep a bottle in the bathroom, one on the kitchen counter next to the tissue box, one in the car and one on a keychain to always have with me.

I think I must have gotten a bad batch of this because the scent is OVERPOWERING and almost 24 hours later and multiple tries I can’t get it off my hands. I literally slept in plastic gloves, it is so strong.

I have never had this problem before so that’s why I think I got a bad batch. As I type, the overwhelming smell still on my hands is making me sick to my stomach. Seriously. The minute I tried to use it it went directly in the trash and I started to try to get rid of the smell on my hands to no avail.

And as another reviewer pointed out, there is no pump on the bottle as pictures. Seriously disappointed in what had been a trusted product during the pandemic and will NEVER buy again.

After the shortage of hand sanitizer, I was more than happy to find purell back in stock. Another brand I had to use resulted in hands becoming sticky, and smelling almost like a swamp. I knew I had to change brands and was happy to see I could order purell online.

Purell leaves my hands smelling fresh, almost like citrus and doesn’t leave any sticky hands. Well worth the money to upgrade to a better quality hand sanitizer.

I’m an Over the Road Truck Driver. My wife is OCD has a very weak immune system and she is a local driver who shares truck with multiple drivers. So we keep hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes at all times even before the COVID19.

We currently have 6 – 8oz Purell 22 – 1oz Purell 9 – 32oz GermX 3 – 8oz GermX 2 – 3oz GermX 10 – 75 Clorox Wipe Containers 2 – 75 Lysol Wipes 3 – 15oz Spray Lysol 30 – Bath and Body Works Pocketbac also a few other off brand ones My wife saw this in stock and ordered 16 of them.

I know you think its an overabundance but we share with other truck drivers and my Sister In Law and her Police Department she works at. I mean people should’ve been washing their hands and sanitizing disinfecting their homes and places before COVID19 came about.

I mean I guess it has always paid to have a OCD wifey. I recommend Purell but GermX will also do when needed and Purell NOT available.

It comes in a sturdy plastic bag with a push button that dispenses the sanitizer. In all honesty you do not need a dispenser for it to work great. The smell is light, lemony, and refreshing. It doesn’t dry out my hands or leave a gross residue.

I have nothing negative to say about this product. It was delivered, next day. I hung up one near my back door with a staples, on the thick seal. It doesn’t look fancy but, it works awesome.

I was looking for funny hand sanitizers, and as very happy with my purchase! But I also stumbled across a lot of other fun items that I never expected! Great place to look for those fun whacky gift items!.

I have touched my genitalia for as long as I remember. Ever since the accident I’ve found reclusive comfort in the warm malleable area between my legs. However, while this may sound like a beautiful and safe act, certain members of society (looking at you women) have deemed it unacceptable.

While some of you may find this solution as backing down I assure you its not. In fact, I feel I’ve won. I still get to touch my manjigglies and give my more squeemish friends handshakes, and all i have to do is rub this alcohol on my hands.

Trust me fellas, this is a good buy.

So these were bought for our 5 year old son to use at school. It conveniently hangs on his bookbag. Between COVID, flu, and colds that little kids are bringing home these days I feel it’s a nessesity.

He uses it multiple times a day. One of them lasts him a couple of weeks when his friends don’t use it all. I needed a guy smell since he’s a boy. And even I as his mom loves the smell of this. It’s very clean and fresh smelling.

The scent hangs around awhile. Which is awesome for a hand sanitizer. And he loves it to. He loves that he has something with a “grown up guy smell” as he calls it. And none of his friends have anything like it.

It makes him feel special and I feel like he can be a little more protected from all the school germs. Win win.

I got this for my friends as a holiday gift, but I didn’t realize that I had bought one for men. Even though it said men’s collection, my friends did not care because they loved the scent so much. It smells so good.

I even wanted to keep a feel for myself. Plus, it’s super easy to take out of the cases and put them back in, and the container is pretty small so if it’s anywhere. Even though I’m a female, this has got to be one of my favorite scents.

It’s the best hand sanitizer – smells amazing but not overpowering, and doesn’t leave hands feeling sticky or coated. The only problem is that the bottle is so small I go through it quickly. I don’t think the sprayer can be recycled so it creates a LOT of waste.

Please make a large refill bottle available! I would use this hand sanitizer exclusively if it came in a refill size.

I bought this hand sanitizer because I am out and about in usually crowded places, and I want something that will sanitize, but not dry out my hands. I have sensitive skin, and this leaves them feeling soft, with no redness or irritation from the alcohol.

There is no stickiness, the smell is clean and fresh, and I love spray sanitizers because they last longer than gel sanitizers.

I LOVE this stuff! I first found the sanitizer in a shop in North Shore, Oahu and it smells as good as all their other products. No chemical smell, just bananas! It lasted me 2 years! When I ran out I couldn’t find it on the Mainland USA, and it was sold out online.

When it was back in stock, I ordered a bunch! I love all SunBum products and even give them as gifts. Everyone loves the smell and I love what SunBum stands for. I am a lifetime customer!.

I have mixed feelings about this spray. As you can see from the photo, this did still dry out my hands the same way a bottle of Purell does, leaving flaky patches. It’s mostly alcohol, so that’s hardly a surprise.

Where Touchland has the advantage is that it dries to an almost powdery feel, rather than the stickiness of usual sanitizer gels. And that’s great. But there are quite a free drawbacks that leave me looking at other options.

It takes quite a few pumps to get a thorough enough coverage for palms, back of hand, between the fingers, to make sure it’s actaully doing a good enough job. That means this little bottle is not going to last long.

It’s not refillable. Touchland claims this is due to risk of cross contamination when customers refill the bottle. Yet, other brands don’t have this problem, and Touchland’s own large dispensers are refillable.

So what’s the problem with the bottles? A lot of locations are no longer taking plastic recycling. For a company that claims it cares about the environment, putting out a non refillable bottle does not make sense.

I’m a little sensitive to smells and these are too strong for me. I’d have gone for their unscented, but Sephora doesn’t carry that one for some reason. I got Vanilla Blossom (I can’t get to review page to show anything but Rainwater, sorry) and it’s a little artificial, but still recognizably vanilla.

If you want to wear any other perfumes, this will definitely compete with it. I can still smell it on my hands, even after washing them thoroughly and repeatedly. These sanitizers certainly have some merits, but they overstate some of their claims, and they really should make them refillable.

(The system only lets me review on the scent: rainwater. But I’m reviewing multiple scents of Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer from Touchland in general. ) Smells great and is not sticky at all. I actually first got to see this brand on Instagram.

And now I’m glad Sephora carries it. One star off for the high price. I do think for what I get, it is a bit over priced. However, all the scents I’ve tried are just sooo lovely! So far, I’ve already tried: velvet peach, berry bliss, applelicious, watermelon, rainwater, and sandalwood.

My favorites are definitely the velvet peach and applelicious. The peach one smells very fruity, peachy and creamy. It has a clear peach note which is super delicious. The applelicious smells bright and happy.

The fruitiness from the apple scent just makes me smile every time I apply it. I’d like to point out another little drawback (besides being expansive) is that I do need to spray about 7 sprays on each hand to feel sufficient.

Because after all, we use them not just for the nice scents, but really for sanitizing our hands. We need at least 20 seconds of alcohol rubbing on our hands in order for it to be effective. These products are so fast absorbing/evaporating that I need to spray a lot to have the alcohol last 20 seconds.

Even though, spraying a lot still doesn’t make my hands feel sticky (which is a very nice fact), I will go through each bottle of product pretty fast. Combined with the high price, I do feel like I need to think twice before repurchase them in the future.

Other than that, they are lovely products. I would recommend you to give them a try! Happy sanitizing!.

I’ve never been so happy to see these at Sephora and with a ton of new scents! I would always pick mine up through ulta but I noticed they only carry 2 scents now. Anywho, besides the esthetically pleasing packaging, they really do moisturize and don’t leave your hands feeling dry.

Are they pricey? Yes but so worth it – at least to me. I will definitely purchase them during the sales though! I’ve tried the watermelon which smells likes a watermelon jolly rancher. I’ve tried other scents that Sephora does sell.

I guess they’re discontinuing those? Can’t wait to try all these new ones! If Sephora brings back any of the old ones I’ve tried, they had an aloe Vera one which smelled like a light scented mens cologne (not that great) and a mint one that literally smells like mouthwash lol not worth it.

I love that this is a spray, and it dries almost instantly so there’s no goo that you have to shmear around your hands. I spray my hands front and back and then a little under the nails on each hand.

And it smells really nice. Today after grocery shopping, I sprayed my hands and later found myself thinking, “Hmmm. something smells really nice,” and then realized I was smelling the sanitizer! I thought it was someone’s perfume.

If you carry it in your purse or pocket, I’d recommend keeping it in a ziplock bag or something like that, because if the cap over the sprayer comes off, it might leak. better safe than sorry. But yeah, I highly recommend this.

It doesn’t seem to be drying, either.

I absolutely love anything minty. So when I saw that Dr. Bronners had a peppermint hand sanitizer I knew I needed it. When I first unscrewed the lid and smelled it, it reminded me of peppermint candy canes during Christmas so I couldn’t wait to pump a few spritz into my palms.

However as soon as I did I soon realized that I was essentially spraying what smelled like mouthwash/breath freshener onto my hands; and now I can’t get that visual out of my head. The sanitizer is wonderful! And it doesn’t leave my hands sticky or smelling like a drunken Russian like other brands on the market.

It also leaves a nice cooling sensation on my skin afterwards that is refreshing in this high temp CA fall weather. I would certainly buy this again.

I’ve used this hand sanitizer before (in lavender scent) and I love it! It doesn’t leave that icky tacky feeling like most other sanitizers; it smells clean, and leaves your hands feeling clean/actually sanitized.

My friends love it, too (they ask to borrow it… I should buy them their own, I know). I’m waiting for them to make these in a larger size since this current one is quite small. I’ll be waiting, Dr. Bronners!.

I’m very happy with my EO hand sanitizer. Most hand sanitizers smell like rubbing alcohol. The EO sanitizer has a wonderful lavender fragrance which is a refreshing change. It also has an easy to dispense sprayer that squirts out just the right amount.

I hesitated to buy the six pack on offer but I’m glad I did-they are in 4 rooms around my house, one in my car, one in my purse.

I am so sick of sanitizer smell and dry hands with all the hand washing and sanitizer lately. Enter EO lavender hand sanitizer and I’m all smiles and sunshine. This sanitizer gel smells absolutely amazing.

The lavender is true from essential oil not just some smelly chemical that mimics lavender. It also leaves my hands so soft. It’s a cloudy white color. I guess they’re able to mix some lotion in there somehow.

Treat yourself and get some. If you love lavender, this will not disappoint.

EO Hand Sanitizer Spray in french lavender is my absolute favorite hand sanitizer! The scent is phenomenal– so soothing. I would never have expected to find an aromatherapy hand sanitizing spray. This product doesn’t dry out my hands even with frequent use throughout the day.

Additionally, the fine mist results in the perfect amount of product being dispensed for easy and thorough application. The 2 oz. size bottles are very convenient for on the go, I just wish a larger size was also offered since I use it so often and go through it quite quickly.

I highly recommend this hand sanitizer and will continue to repurchase it again and again.

Awesome oil, my mom has doterra oils and I’ve used some of her oils, leery at first but started to get into it. When I finally decided to invest into my own stash of essential oils I did a ton of research looking for the purest oils for the best price and after all the research I settled for Rocky Mountain oils and haven’t regretted it.

Peppermint was one of the oils i used the most from my mom and this company’s oil smells, better and works better. You can smell, feel and experience the higher quality and potency of this company’s oil vs doterras.

The customer service is awesome and the shipping is quick. Peppermint is another oil I always keep on hand especially for my husband. It’s helped with breathing during allergies or illnesses and I’ve used it with a variety of other mint oils to massage into my husbands bad back and shoulder after work, he loves it.

I can’t wait to try out their organic version they just came out with.

I don’t know what these oils smell like. But, everybody at work talks about how nice they are. I started out with only 3 scents because they are so expensive. I figured they really must be something exceptional.

When Purification arrived I immediatly put it in my diffuser only to find it smells like Pledge! To say the least I was disappointed. It’s not an offensive oder and it did not produce any other byproducts other than fragrance, but come on.

Isn’t there a better name they could have given it? I was expecting something along the lines of Thieves. Never in a million years would I have expected it to smell like Pledge!.

To be fair – not yet started this BUT I am in progress on USS Enterprise CV-6 and my primary negative comments in this are that some key parts of the instructions are too small for the detail of parts and is poor at the shape and location of parts.

Also the fit is not 100% in parts. There are some design flaws that could make it better e. g. having hull in two parts (lower and upper) as makes the painting of hull red vs grey much easier and better finish.

Also transfers for plimsole line in black better as a Transfer than self paint. Also the large 66 transfer is not shown anywhere ! Hope this USS JFK has better instructions and fit. Will comment if not.

However overall model is still interesting and a challenge so defo not all bad.

Just what we needed. Right dosage for perfect coverage without waste (I know that is the dispenser). Easy install. Good smell. Works great. Price is the only issue, thus 4 stars.
