20 Best Ergonomic Chair For Short People (2023 Updated)

This chair is so comfortable! The lumbar support is extraordinary. It’s well-made, attractive, and makes sitting at my computer so much more pleasant. It was a snap to put together, even for someone not mechanically-minded.

(I read directions well, though. ) One suggestion: since people have trouble knowing to remove the cap, even with the instructions, show an illustration of the cap so we know what we’re looking for. It’s easy to miss, being the same color as everything else.

I also wish the armrests could angle in more than they do. Other than that, this is an solid win, and at a decent price.

The chair is great! I needed an ergo chair for my wfh setup since the chair I previously had wasn’t very ergonomic. After days of researching for a mid-range chair, I decided to go with Vari as I really like the desk I had previously purchased and trusted the company.

The chair is super comfortable even when sitting for long hours while working. The delivery was quick, and installation was super easy! It may not be a Herman-Miller, but I think this chair is priced at a good value.

Only issue is that I wish it was able to go an inch or so lower, as I am a short guy (5’6″) and have to use the standing mat as a foot support when sitting.

I was shocked by how difficult this was to assemble, especially given the solid reviews and the fact that I’ve assembled other desk chairs before with no problem. First, it took me a few minutes to realize I should remove the plastic piece, as that wasn’t indicated in the directions.

More concerning, however, is that my chair did not fit on to the piston at all. There was no “pressing down firmly. ” It just wouldn’t attach, even when I sat on it to apply weight. I’ve confirmed with the pictures on the website that I installed the piston properly, but even now, when it’s as assembled as I can get it, I’m not sure that it’s safe or sturdy.

Moreover, I don’t know how to disassemble it to return it. When I combine this experience with the defective, peeling table I received first, and have to try to get all the way to the garage to repack, I’m extremely frustrated by my entire experience.

Just recently purchased this chair after needing an upgrade from a chair that had done it’s job for about 7 years or so. I really wanted a chair that had a head rest as my previous didn’t. I’ve heard a lot about mesh chairs and my significant other highly recommending it considering how cool and nice it was during the hot weather.

Another thing I was looking for was a chair that would help me when it came to posture and comfort. As stated before, my previous chair was at the end of its time and it resulted in no support for my back or bottom.

I wouldn’t be able to sit for long hours on my computer and would be forced to take time away from sitting from how painful it was sometimes. I went in store to test out some chairs and this was actually the first chair I had tried and I instantly fell in love! I continued to test out other chairs, although this was really did the job for me.

I was amazed at how much support my entire back was actually receiving along with finally being able to rest my head on a headrest! No more aching necks! The headrest is amazing. It’s able to be readjusted in many different angles and heights that it fits my changes in positions.

The lumbar support really does justice for my back and although I’m not used to it yet considering I had to work with pillows or blankets to make a homemade back support, I can already feel a difference in the health of my back.

No longer does it ache after an hour or two of sitting and I’m able to watch my posture be better. The assembly process was honestly pretty easy, the only thing I’d recommend is to have open space to do it.

As long as you follow the instructions as said, you should really have no problem. I am a 5’4 female who barely works with weights, so it was definitely a challenge to hold up some parts, but with dedication to get it done it was possible within 30ish minutes! It was a hassle to get this chair online, so definitely go in person if you can and I hope you all enjoy this chair just as I have!.

Of all the chairs I tried in this price range, this definitely has the best lower back adjustments. Some other chairs allow you to adjust lumbar vertically and some might allow for some depth adjustment, but typically it’s barely noticeable.

Because this chair’s lumbar supports pivots outward quite a bit it really allows you to get the spot that you’re looking for and if you’re the type that wants or needs a bit more of a lumbar push this is a pretty solid option.

I sit in this chair for a typical work day (8 hours) and the lower back pain I had with two other chairs I had purchased went away with this one. The backrest of the chair also tilts from left to right and is something I haven’t seen this before on another chair.

At first I didn’t really see the point, but after changing positions in my chair throughout the day I realized it was a clever improvisation of having a chair that has a flexible back that moves with you.

A flexible back would simply cost more to make. By allowing the chair’s backrest to tilt left to right with you it creates a similar (albeit not quite the same) effect without jacking up the price exponentially.

For me, it works. The chair’s seat material sort of looks cheap, but is reasonably comfortable and I don’t have any issues sitting in it for long hours. I’m not a fan of the random dimple that’s in the back middle portion of the seat pan, but that’s an aesthetic dislike because I don’t feel it when I’m sitting down.

The chair does creek a bit, especially when you first sit down or lean back for the first time and I think that the tension required to rock could be a little less intense (or at least adding a tilt tension control would have been nice).

At $400 I don’t think I would have kept the chair for creaking. But, I got it on sale for less than $300 after tax and at that price I have no complaints. I’m keeping it.

TL/DR: Gave this chair a test drive at Office Depot, spent at least 20 minutes hard sitting, pantomime gaming/typing. Very versatile seat that’s great for every type of butt/back, way a person sits and leans in a chair.

So this is my office chair, went with this as I really wanted one with adjustable back support. I also didn’t want to buy a chair, assemble it and realize that I spent half a grand on something I didn’t like or enjoy sitting on.

The added benefit of the chair being available at Office Depot where I could sit, roll and be in front of a desk to pretend like I was working/gaming was really nice. I spent a month going back trying different chairs, plopping down in them acting like I was playing games or typing in front of the desks they have there.

The adjustable neck support coupled with the adjustable back support is super nice too, often when I get done playing or take a stream break I lean back and it does pop my back. Let’s talk about the seat for reference I’m 183lbs/83kgs and the seat cushion is really great for 8+ hours of persistent seating.

After the 9th hour I don’t know if it’s me or the chair but my legs are slightly ache-y from sitting for so long. No next day pain or anything, I guess my old man body can’t marathon game like I used to.

The forward/back movement of the seat is great cause I have a butt and need a little more forward positioning of the seat. The only con is that the chair doesn’t roll very well on medium-high shag carpet.

May this chair, should you choose it, gently hold your butt and cradle your back like it does mine.

I love how this chair forces me to sit upright and have better posture. It is pretty comfortable and was a breeze to assemble. I just got it today and noticed one odd thing about it: The mesh seems to be “fuzzing out” at the places where my back has the most contact with it – mainly near the lumbar region.

Very odd. At first I thought my sweater was shedding onto the mesh, but then I realized that fuzz was actually the mesh itself. Weird! I hope that doesn’t mean the mesh won’t hold up well over time? I have to say that the armrests are a very hard plastic, no padding whatsoever, so I don’t find myself wanting to rest my arms to much on there.

Overall, I think the frame and legs/wheels are solid and it’s certainly a heavy chair so I feel like it’s made well. But because of the feel of the mesh and how it’s fraying on Day 1, and the rock hard armrests, I’m only giving it 3 stars.

I own two of the Vert Ergonomic chair to go with my very wide standing desk. The chairs were okay at first, but have gradually gotten far worse. I threw away the boxes after opening them and did not realize that the box was necessary to return these.

I have been using the chairs now for 3-4 months and they are very uncomfortable after 20 minutes of sitting. The cushion you sit on feels very firm, and cheap. It does not flex much at all. When seated it always feels like the cushion is trying to lean forward so you are always tensed up to prevent yourself from sliding out of the chair.

The back of the chair’s tilt mechanism is even worse as it will not stay tilted back. You have to actively fight this chair to be able to lean back in it. There’s a lot of strength in whatever mechanism is causing the back to spring back.

I can never stay seated long to see if the back support is an issue or not. I think we can all agree that the most important part of a chair is literally the seat itself which this chair absolutely fails to do correctly.

Prior to buying these, I looked at plenty of other chairs, but were all in the thousand price range. Before buying these I read through so many reviews on here thinking these were the chairs I’d finally choose.

Do not buy these chairs.

I’ve had this chair for about 3 months now, and it’s okay, but for the price range I would expect it to be a lot better. I bought this chair because of the arm rest adjustments, and to be honest they’re totally bunk.

Mine basically slide left to right freely which is incredibly annoying. I wish they locked in front to back, as it takes a little more than a couple pounds of pressure to accidently move them. The cushion itself is hard, if not harsh.

Mine feels like it hasn’t broke in at all, and has very little give nor cushion. The lumbar support itself isn’t terrible, but the adjustment mechanism is. I’m constantly accidentally moving it while sliding into my chair, and having to readjust it – and I accidentally overshoot the top rung constantly while I do readjust it.

It could realistically move in 5 smaller increments and be a lot better. The headrest on the chair is a little narrow, and bumps my glasses if I look to the side while leaning back. The pros include the shape of the mesh back, which is actually relatively comfortable.

The spring tension on the lean function is very comfortable for me. I also find the base of the chair, while plastic, to be very nice and stable. I’m a shorter person at 5’6″, and the chair does fit me well by most accounts.

Overall it’s just okay. I’ll keep it, but if I could do it again I’d definitely spend the extra money for an Autonomous or a Steelcase.

I have really tried to make this chair comfortable. I have added aftermarket cushions to the arm rests that were so hard and a bit low. I really dislike that they do not move back when the back reclines a bit.

The lumbar support feels like it is on upsidedown. It protrudes far too much no matter how I adjust it. This chair is a work day torture device. I shocked how terrible this chair is. It sits a little bit off level too.

I expected it to be a good as the bike desk. I have really enjoyed bike desk a purchased the chair expecting the same satisfaction. This chair really missed the mark. Terrible and uncomfortable.

So this chair is great for me but my 6’2 husband not so much, which is fine because I got it for me, it’s MY chair, so he shouldn’t be sitting in it anyway. I call that a win. I happen to think it’s actually really comfortable especially considering how cheap it was.

Looks nice enough and it was super easy to assemble. Seems pretty durable. I’ve spent a couple of days in this chair working and so far not one backache. Delivery was fast. No damages with any of the equipment.

I am 5ft 3in and this chair is perfect for me. It went together really easily and it only took a few minutes after you unpacked everything. It was packaged really well and i appreciated that as i had it shipped.

The headrest is at a good height for me and my 6ft son is able to use it, too. I wouldnt expect it to fit anyone who is over 6ft tall. The chair is still comfortable if you are taller unless lumbar support doesn’t fit you well.

A 6ft 7in person who has a hard time with the lumbar support hitting the correct area on their back did not like this chair.

I was hesitant to purchase this chair from some of the mixed reviews, but after using it for the last couple of weeks I don’t regret buying it. The seat is very comfortable and supportive and the adjustable arm rests are a great feature.

The mesh backing doesn’t seem the strongest, but I feel it will hold up just fine as long as you are careful with it. I work from home and sit in this chair 9+ hours a day and every time I sit down I’m so pleased with this purchase.

I have been searching for a mesh back chair to replace the one my daughter ‘stole’ from me, but I wasn’t having any luck finding one I liked. We found this one at our local Sam’s, but I was hesitant to buy it because they didn’t have any on display for people to sit in.

However, I decided to go ahead and take a chance, and I’m glad I did! I work from home, therefore I spend a lot of time in a chair, plus I have severe scoliosis and rods in my back. I can actually sit in this chair all day without it causing me more back pain than usual and it is so comfortable! You will not find a more comfortable chair at a better price!.

If you have wide shoulders or are taller than 6 feet, you may have trouble really enjoying this chair. It raises up decently high but the head rest only reaches the base of my neck and presses against the back of my shoulders.

The arm rests have decent height adjustment, but screwing them into the chair base feels like you may warp or strip something because the fasteners do not screw in flat and flush against the mounting pieces.

The base is plastic but seems sturdy for a heavy person as well, it is rated for 275lbs after all. No signs or sounds of flex or breaking. The Mesh seat and back are comfortable and provide ample air flow as well if you’re concerned about staying cool in warm spaces.

The lumbar support piece, while effective, has minimal height adjustment and it’s not the most accessible to reach and move, especially when you’re already seated. The lean works great and locks into place well.

Combined with the lumbar support, it really makes you sit up straight.

I live in Arizona and my office can get quite warm in the evening. I’m used to the heat, but something I can’t stand is my back sweating while sitting, which my previous chair did. It made me lean forward for a few hours each day to help my back breathe.

This led to frequent neck tension headaches. Not fun! So I set out on a journey to find a mesh chair with a small budget. Every single chair – literally every single one – had negative reviews saying “it’s trash, don’t buy this, etc.

” so I eventually had to just pick one. My height is 5’5″ and I specifically chose this chair because of reviews from others at a similar height who said it fit them great. They weren’t lying. Now I’m an odd case.

I have severe scoliosis and fairly bad posture. I guess I’m still too young for back pain so I can’t make any comments on how the chair does in that area. But at least for me, I actually felt quite uncomfortable when it was locked into its most upright position.

It felt like I was sitting *too* straight up. That’s probably due to my screwed up back. So I’ve left the chair’s tilt unlocked and adjusted the tilt tension so that it would lean back with me. I managed to get the tension just right, so the chair leans back as far as I want based on how much pressure I put on it, but then I can release the pressure and gravity holds it there until I sit up.

Now I’m very comfortable, my back is no longer sweating, and the headaches are gone! 😀 The head and arm rests are optional, and if you change your mind about them, they are very easy to remove or install again later.

– I had to remove the arms because my desk was too small. I’ll get a new desk soon and will happily reinstall the arms because they were comfortable. – I almost immediately removed the headrest because when sitting straight up it was actually hurting my neck (I do have terrible neck posture from my previous chair so that might be why).

I haven’t tested the headrest with my “unlocked tilt” strategy yet, I expect it would be far more comfortable. I was actually worried about removing the headrest because I thought it would be necessary to stop my neck tension headaches (I’ve never had a chair with a headrest before).

In my case, it turned out to not be important at all, and it’s only a nice to have when leaning back watching a movie or something. Anyway, I’m satisfied!.

Works great. (But DO NOT buy the 2 barrel version of this thing. Belts break left and right. I think it is same motor and belt as the single, only it has longer rods that barrels spin on. Poor design.

Don’t wayste your money. ) But this single barrel one is good. No belts have broke on me. I only changed it once because the belt had stretched over 8-10 months of running constantly 24 hrs a day and i couldnt tighten any further.

For roughly $60 it is worth it. If things change i will re-write review.

I can’t remember when I originally bought this chair but I know it was before my back surgery in Nov 2011. I’ve work from home and am opening an office in the city for training and group meetings. I am about to buy a duplicate chair for that office.

I have 2 plates, 6 screws, a cage and a cushion in my lower back due to breaking one of my vertebrates. This chair makes it possible to work the intensive 12 to 14 hours I typically work. I tried working in the other office without it and could only work about 4 hours and would still be in excruciating pain.

I love love this chair and, when I leave the office it is usually borrowed by my employees. For anyone working these long hours, with or without health issues this chair is worth the price. I highly recommend it!.

I purchased a MFTC 200 Ergonomic chair back in July 2020, after approximately 4 or 5 months this chair’s mesh backing started to detach from the chair frame. I thought that I could potentially stave off a chair purchase/unnecessary return/waste by clamping and using a copious amount of superglue to reattached and secure the mesh backing.

Unfortunately that did not succeed, and after several months of constant repairs the mesh backing failed (the best way to describe this event was that it unzipped from the frame). This is a design flaw that will almost certainly cause failures in this model.

There are no visible physical shields that would prevent the mesh knit from popping out of the frame, it appears that it’s primarily put together and secured via glue and tensional forces. The price for this office chair is attractive, and while it lasted it was comfortable for its usage.

However not only do I need to purchase another chair, but this chair can’t easily be rehabbed and gifted/donated to somewhere else. It’s creating unnecessary waste, I’m not a “eco conscious consumer” but this is just another example of the degradation of quality workmanship/made in china syndrome that is rampant in society today.

Back to my title, if you buy this chair once, you’ll cry once as you realize that this was good for only a few months of usage before you have to trash it. I’d suggest doing some deeper research, and ponying up some more cash for a better chair.

As for rating, if I could I’d give this item zero out of ten stars, or to put it in terms for millennials “Two thumbs down” – Kevin Malone. It’s not worth the time, either for shipping or in terms of use.

This chair doesn’t seem to have the quality that I was looking for. The mesh on the back isn’t very strong and feels more like a light-duty, cloth weave over a heavy-duty nylon weave that I have on a different office chair.

The armrests can adjust closer to a small person’s body but wiggle even when tightened down. They do adjust quite low to fit the chair under a desk. The chair adjustments for the seat help you to level it, tilt it back, or forward for more comfort but the reach to actually use the lever to adjust it is harder for a small person to reach.

The back adjustments are also awkward and hard to reach. I actually had to use the tips of my fingers to press the adjustment levers down while trying to sit in the perfect position and capture that position with the use of the levers.

Once you get it adjusted, it’s comfortable. The height of the chair does adjust lower to the floor so that my legs are at a 90 degree angle from the floor. My 128 lb. , 5’4″ self fits comfortably enough in it.

I would not recommend this for a taller/larger framed person as the pressure on the seat or the back of the chair might not remain comfortable for an extensive period of time. The back of the chair doesn’t have much lumbar support, either.

If you are going to be sitting for more than 4 hours, I’d buy a different chair.

I purchased this chair at the end of November 2020 as a desk chair for home, hoping that it would be as great as the chair I use at work. It ended up being not quite as wide or deep, but I was able to take off one of the arm rests and make it work.

All was good for about 6 months until I noticed that there were times I seemed to be sitting lower than I was before. It wouldn’t be all the time — but sometimes I could sit and feel the chair slowly dropping.

I contacted Office Depot and they verified the standard manufacturer’s warranty covered the hydraulic system. They ordered a new part, but advised that it could take 12-16 weeks to arrive. When I called back 4 months later I was advised the part was still not available and there was no estimated time of arrival, so I was provided a gift card for my full purchase price.

Other than the hydraulic issue, the chair is comfortable for a long work day. I am still using it until I find a replacement I like, and there are some weeks where I have no issues with it at all and others where I’m constantly adjusting the height.

I had an old version of this that lasted me throughout high school and college, but finally got to the point (after 8 years) that you couldn’t sit in it without some pain. A pillow didn’t help much either.

Thankfully the tag was still on the bottom, so I was able to determine that this is the newer version of that same chair. Sadly, I’ve had this chair for less than 10 months and it’s already uncomfortable to sit in.

I can feel the plastic underneath the cushion every time I sit down, like it’s literally formed around my “shape”, if you will. Needless to say it’s not a comfortable feeling. I was hoping I’d get lucky and get another 8-year chair.

but I guess quality materials aren’t the same as they used to be. Please keep in mind I’m in my mid-20’s, so it’s not like my bones are frail or whatever. I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and purchase a chair for twice the price to get what I want.

I looked at the many chairs which are available on line and decided on this one for the appearance and cost. It seems to be a good value for the money. I purchased it for my teenage grandson who is doing virtual school and needed a desk chair.

It is adequate as far as size and he says it is comfortable. Hope it will hold up, time will tell. The seat padding seems sufficient and the mesh back is comfortable. Assembly was simple, quick and easy.

The Steelcase – Gesture Shell Back Office Chair is a very nice high-end office chair that really has me wondering why I hadn’t invested in something like this sooner. I work a pretty standard 9 to 5 office job where the majority of my time is spent sitting in front of a computer.

Up to this point, I have mainly used cheaper hand-me-down office chairs for many years now, and this has taken its toll on my body. This has been my first experience with a truly high-end office chair and the difference compared to what I am accustomed to is staggering.

This Steelcase chair has so many adjustment options yet it is so simple to make whatever adjustments you may need to make to get the chair just right for you and your situation. As I typically do whenever I receive and open a new product, I first looked for some sort of instruction manual when unboxing the chair.

To my initial surprise, no such document came with the chair, but it didn’t take me long to figure out why. Assembling the chair was very easy to figure out since most of the assembly was already done.

All I had to do was place the pneumatic cylinder in the wheelbase and then line up the upper portion of the chair and place it on top of the pneumatic cylinder. The chair is pretty heavy but I was able to lift it and with the help of someone else who lined up the cylinder with the point where it is inserted into the bottom of the chair, I had it setup very quickly.

After assembling the chair, it was then easy to figure out what each of the adjustment knobs did and I really liked how smooth it felt when making any of the available adjustments. One of my favorite things about this chair is the wide range of adjustments that can be made to the arm rests.

This is often one of the hardest things to get exactly right on most chairs because of the limits most regular office chairs have when it comes to adjusting the arm rests. This is certainly not the case with this Steelcase office chair and now I have a chair with arm rests that are in the absolute perfect position for me and my needs.

Overall, the Steelcase – Gesture Shell Back Office Chair is an amazing high-end office chair and I highly recommend it!.

This chair has completely changed my work from home experience. Gone are the days of fighting that uncomfortable ache, that pain point, all causing you to shift around constantly in your office chair while you try to find the right position that you can stay in for more than a few minutes.

The Steelcase Gesture is hands down the most ergonomic, comfortable chair I’ve used, especially when utilized for long periods of time. I’ve used a combination of different chairs over the last 2 years, memory foam, mesh, complimenting with gel pads, and more, and nothing beats true adjustability to fully support you while sitting for a length of time.

While managing the box is deceptively difficult due to the load not being evenly distributed, once I got the box inside, everything was a breeze from there. The chair effectively comes pre-assembled, you just have to take the chair base (with wheels already attached), place the pneumatic cylinder into the base, and set the chair on top of that.

It takes about 60 seconds. The build quality and finish are very solid. The chair feels very sturdy, stable, and makes me understand why Steelcase warranties this chair for 12 years. This chair won’t break like those cheap office chairs.

It takes a little bit of a learning curve to understand the controls, but once you start fiddling with them, it’s pretty easy to get things adjusted. Quickly reviewing, the front knob/lever adjusts height using the lever portion, and the seat forward/backward using the twist function of the knob.

The backrest recline tension adjusts using the twist function of the rearward knob, and you can lock the recline function to a max level using that knob as well. The lumbar also had adjustment sliders to find the perfect spot for the lumbar.

Finally the arms are crazy adjustable: they lift, swivel, slide, and rotate. I don’t think there’s an adjustment you can’t do to the armrests. After you start getting some seat time in this chair, you’ll find you’re adjusting things to get the chair just right, and then you don’t have to adjust from there.

You settle right into the chair and sit in pain-free comfort. Overall, while I understand this chair is certainly demanding a premium and is more expensive than most desk/office chairs, it really comes down to what you’re using the chair for.

If you’re using a desk chair for a couple hours a week, a simple standard desk chair will be sufficient, and this chair would probably be overkill. However, if you’re working from home 8+ hours a day, streaming, or doing something that requires you to spend a ton of hours sitting in a desk chair, buy a chair that will be supportive of you.

If you’re spending 50% of the time you’re awake in an office chair, buy a high quality desk chair. I apply the same concept to my bed, I spend about 1/3 of my life in one of those, I opted for a quality mattress.

Why not do the same and keep yourself from distracting your focus, killing your productivity, all because you can’t get comfortable in your desk chair?.

I got this office chair on sale. I was not expecting a fancy chair or something that you can get with $300 or more. I was very surprised on how comfortable it is. Because it is mesh back and bottom, I am not suffering when I am working 9 hours Infront of the computer.

It lacks some adjustments in the back ( I am not expecting that for the price). I am happy with my purchase on this basic office chair.

This is the most comfortable office chair I have ever had! I’ve had some for over $500. and this one is better than those. The seating being a mesh is so nice, I don’t burn up throughout my work day.

The support for my back is in the PO effect spot. I don’t feel worn out after a 12 hour day. I will buy again, when it’s time to get another office chair.

I absolutely love my new chair. It’s comfortable and looks so nice. I have no regrets here. My 9 year old wants to use it instead of his gaming chair. I was able to put it together in about 10 minutes.

I was dying to get a new chair due to long working hours in front of the computer. Since pandemic hit, the work set up has been a struggle! I tried and returned 3 other chairs that I bought from Amazon.

My chiropractor recommended me high end chairs like Herman Miller’s Aeron but the price tag wasn’t really in my budget, so I started browsing other sites like Branch, Autonomous, etc. I came across EazeeChairs but had a very uneasy feeling – perhaps because of how the website looked? After reading many reviews online and seeing how they had the chairs with footrest, I decided to give it a shot.

Right out of the box, it was extremely easy to assemble. I am a 5′ 2″ petite woman and I was able to put it together in less than 30 mins. After trying it for a couple months now, I definitely feel comfortable on this chair.

I still love the footrest because I don’t like my feet to be on the floor all the time. The seat itself gives plenty of room so it’s convenient for those who like to fold up their legs like myself. The arm rest goes up and down, which is the minimum that I need.

Surprisingly, I can also reach the head rest (yes, for once!! this is pretty amazing for a short person xD) One feature I don’t use a lot is tilting – I fell backwards with my old chair and it was apparently a very traumatic experience for me, so I am hesitant to try that again and couldn’t give much feedback on it.

For the price, this is a good chair. It is not fully “ergonomic” in that it isn’t adjustable in many ways that you would need to really prevent repetitive strain injuries. You can adjust the seat height, back angle and arm rest height, and that’s it.

I find that the arm rests are too far forward and don’t allow me to comfortably use my ergonomic split keyboard. Unfortunately you can’t adjust the armrests forward and backward. Also, I find the arm rests are too close in to my body.

You can adjust these very slightly (about one inch) but you need to do that by unscrewing the bolts on the bottom of the chair, so it’s not very convenient. The lumbar support is a nice feature, but I find it doesn’t come out far enough to really support my back.

I ended up using a lumbar cushion instead. Also, the head rest is terrible. It’s so far forward that it pushes your head forward (like an airline seat when fully upright). That also can’t be adjusted (you can only adjust the height and tilt of the headrest).

Anyway, a chair that is fully adjustable in all these dimensions would be 10x the cost, so if you’re OK with the limited adjustability, this is a great chair. If you have serious concerns about repetitive strain injury you should look elsewhere, but be prepared to spend a LOT more.

Ordered and received my S5 Chair in less than a week. Well packaged, and interior protection for the parts. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, with a well-labelled parts kit. I loved the inclusion of spare parts — just in case.

Parts are heavy to manage by yourself, so some folks may need a third hand with some parts of assembly. Chair is comfortable, with a myriad of adjustments and features. Mesh fabric seems durable and easy to clean.

Good value for the money. A great purchase experience.

Chair ended up having you short of a seat panel and the headrest hit directly at the top of my shoulders. Contacted customer service and was told I’d need to locate a box, disassemble the chair, ship it back and they’d refund me after deducting a 15% restocking fee.

I reached out to my salesperson directly who recommended the chair and they completely ghosted me. Was trying out the company with the hopes of purchasing chairs for our medical clinic. Will not be a repeat customer.

The blade wheels as super fun. The seat cushion is comfortable and allows for adjustment. The materials feel high quality— no hard plastic armrests or glue around the back of the chair. I spend 9-10 hours a day in this chair and I love it!.

It’s AFFORDABLE. The tools make it EXTREMELY EASY TO ASSEMBLE. Most importantly, it’s EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. It rest every part of my body perfectly. I feel like I have more energy throughout the day because I’m not fighting with my chair for comfort.

I definitely recommend this chair to anyone and everyone!.
