Used this kit to install, small block chevy into 72′ Toyota FJ40. Nice kit, fit well, plenty of room for exhaust.

Used this to put 283 small block in 1962 CJ5. I had to perform minor modifications to the mounts but they turned out awesome. It was cheaper and faster ordering this through Summit instead of advance adapters.

These adapters are what they claim to be, they came with the necessary hardware and located the engine in the same place as the old small block. The only reason they are 4 star and not 5 is that I had to grind down the bump on the rear of the motor mount (the rubber isolated one) so it would mate flush to the adapter.

Also of note, you cannot use a stock Gen III/IV truck AC pump and bracket with these, the adapter and engine mount interfere with the low placement on the engine. Basically the back of the AC compressor and the engine mount crash into each other.

very good quality and manufacturing, good quality screws included. it allows you to play back and forth which is very good when doing swaps. I decided to move the firewall 7 inches back and I was able to align the motor mounts in the original position.

Some work may be needed on the passenger side for the a / c compressor.

These ICT engine brackets are perfect for your LS based swap. In our shop we will be using these as our go to brackets for all LS based swaps in the future. We have used several other companies for LS swap brackets that were priced higher and didn’t have the adjustment options that the ICT brackets do.

This is super helpful if you are building a custom chassis or race car and want to be able to adjust engine position.

Looks like I can’t use the tranny support rods with these mounts. They won’t let the bracket bolt behind these mounts and there is no way to bolt the tranny support rod to this bracket alone. Otherwise, they are good mounts.

I purchased the kit after I punched in my model A 99 4×4 Blazer LS 4. 3 and it says the would fit. However after I read the instructions no where on it did it say anything about a 4. 3 Vortec swap. Only a 2.

8 V6 so I tried pre installing and to me they look as if they will make my 305 set way to high. And angel will not work unless I do a body lift. Still unsure on this but looks like they won’t work. So they need to look at what they say fits and does not fit.

Either way I mount them is not looking good. I do not want a body lift or have the money to do so.

These are designed to place a V8 in a S10, and use the S 10 body, so, that requires you to move the engine forward. For this application, I believe these are perfect. However, I purchased these to move the engine farther back, for my 1951 Chev Pick Up.

So, some fab work was required on the driver’s side mount. For this application you must attach the plates to the cross member, and the mounts to the block, the kit was designed to do the opposite.

These mounts do fit, and will work. Takes a little massaging to get them in. When I got the box the tabs for the mount were bent and needed to be persuaded back into position. Also the tabs on the mounts are offset-so I had a 50/50 chance of them fitting the first time.

Just go ahead and look at the instructions!. that are not there. So I went ahead and winged it, and I was wrong and had to redo them with the tabs in the proper orientation. None of this is a huge deal, like it is in the truck, and is working-but a better packaging box and maybe a fortune cookies worth of direction would have helped.

I’d say this is a 4-9 beer project, depending on how many “helpers” you have.

Great product, should list header swap list to match kit, no headers listed to match, very good product found that the holley manifolds fit great with these mounts just have to cut the bottoms off the mount plate and the fit on the inner hole.

Prothane, Daystar, Energy, they are all the same build/design. My neighbor has the Energy on his TJ and I put the Prothane on my 98 TJ (4. 0, Manual transmission). They are identical when I compared them side by side.

Anyway, I’ve driven his Jeep and it drove great so I installed mine. Absolutely no shaking at all. Actually much less with this mount installed. My old OEM mount was worn out after 22 years. My TJ used to shake a little at idle and really shake when I started out in first gear.

Now it is absolutely rock solid smooth. I don’t know what is going on with other reviews stating that it causes a lot of shaking at idle. Perhaps getting this solid mount for the tranny accentuates other problems??? I (nor my neighbor) experienced any shaking at all with this transmission mount installed.

It actually made it much smoother. It’s a joy to drive again because it’s smooth and doesn’t shake when accelerating from a stop. I’m extremely pleased with how this tightened up and smoothed out my Jeep.

This unit definitely works. Hard to say if it has less vibration than OEM since mine was blown out and this is better.

So the fit is perfect but u will get more vibration then the oem mopar bracket and it seems to raise your transmission a tiny bit since its a bit taller. Working fine for now though til I finish the tummy tuck.

The old motor mounts I am replacing are just a narrow, flimsy rubber pad, where all of the engine load focuses solely on the rubber surrounding the bolt, and their shells are not able to be opened to swap out the internals.

Mine ripped apart in one year. In contrast, these clamshells allow you to place the far superior reinforced pads which disburse the engine load from the bolt throughout the entire polyurethane through a metal frame cast into the polyurethane, thus providing a much more robust, reliable solution for long-term use.

I bought these for an LS swap into my 1991 Suburban. They have been used many times by others. I’m not expecting any issues.

Fit good. Bolt right in. Appear to be of good quality. Like the they are able to be split in half for to add new rubber. Locater makes it possible to line mounts up when putting back together.

These mounts are made for putting a small block chevy into a 1964 Pontiac A body. I used them for an LS2 conversion in my 1964 Pontiac Tempest. Although they mounted directly to the original holes in the cross member, I moved them back 1 inch for better fitment for my application.

Dropped a Chevy 350 in a 1967 Buick Skylark. They are a little to wide for the Chevy motor mounts. I shimmed with washers. No problem. I would use them again.

Nice quality mounts made of thick metal and have a nice silver finish. Comes with bolts that go to the block, but does NOT come with the long through bolts. I ordered a UMI kit from Summit that worked just fine for that.

When installing, choose the orientation that creates the most set-back on the frame or the headers will not fit.

PURCHASED FOR A LQ4 SWAP IN A SUBURBAN. WORKED AMAZING EVERYTHING LINED UP AND WAS ABLE TO USE A LOT OF THE PARTS FROM BOTH THE SUBURBAN AND THE DONNER TRUCK TOGETHER. HAD TO MOVE TRANS CROSS MEMBER BACK ABOUT AN INCH AND SUBURBAN DRIVE SHAFT FIT PERFECT.

I WILL NEVER DO ANOTHER SWAP WITHOUT THESE MOUNTS. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY.

This product quality is excellent, But it does’nt match up to the stock frame motor mounts as advertised one side ends up being a half inch from lining up the hole. any suggestions to remedy this problem would be appreciated.

The radiator pictured can’t be the correct one for a 4. 2L I-6 engine. *May just be a photo of what the radiator looks like in general. The upper outlet should be on the righthand (passenger) side of the radiator and the lower inlet on the lefthand side (drivers) side.

You’d probably have some clearance issues with the radiator fan as well as having to 180dg the hose end to get it to join up with the inlet on the water pump. *Would definitely require a non-standard upper radiator hose to make that configuration work.

This is an easy DIY replacement part. Don’t go to the dealership and let them rip you off for $1100 repair bill. This happened to us on our original radiator. This is an exact replacement and only takes 1-2 hours to replace.

Plenty of youtube vids out there to see how it’s done if you need help. Save yourself $800 and get this instead. This looks to be of same material and build quality as OE so I’m sure I will be replacing this again in another 2-3 years because these plastic tanks crimped to the aluminum rows will and do leak eventually, at least on my jeep anyway.

That’s indicated by the smell of antifreeze but no visual leaks. I have had two OE radiators do this already. I have 80K miles on the jeep. And for the price this is just fine.

I know that most of you have a manual transmission. But if you have an automatic transmission there are two different types of hook ups. One is a quick release and the other is a barbed type. This radiator has the quick release style of hook ups.

I didn’t find this out until I was half way through changing my radiator. My LJ Rudi has the barbed type of hook ups. So I never got a chance to use this one. I had to run to the auto parts store to get the right one.

The website didn’t say anything about this at the time that I bought it. I returned that radiator and brought this up to the person on the phone so they could update their website. Shipping was on time and the product wasn’t damaged when I got it.

It looked good but I didn’t see threading on the holes for the radiator fan. But maybe I didn’t look close enough.

I like to do most of my own fabbing but when it came down to mounting my gen 1 small block in my 95 YJ we kicked around ideas and discussed material, strategy, positioning, etc. Finally, and a bit reluctantly, I decided to order the Advanced Adapters crossmember mount.

Right out of the box, very pleasantly surprised to find the crossmember its self is not painted black as depicted in the website photos but is instead seems to have a CAD plating. Full sealed package of all grade 5 hardware and the rubber mounts.

The mount works perfectly with my 88′ jeep YJ. Bolted up easy and is well constructed. Some of the bolts provided did not work, but may depend on the type of application.

These headers fit well and sealed up with no problem with the provided gaskets and I didn’t even need any copper RTV. They are however pretty thin, so I don’t think that they will hold up to corrosion well at all.

They are also painted with a paint that burns off during the first couple minutes of running, so if you’re going to coat them then you will need to get that paint off. Lastly, they have a lifetime warranty, but that warranty is voided if you wrap them.

I am building a 1948 merc using a S-10 clip and have bought severeal sets of headers trying to find something to fit it. This set was the closest i found and only required me modifying the drivers side to put the collector 1/2 closer to the oil filter.

Its still a 1″ away from the filter. The headers were shipped with the wrong collector reducers but Hedman sent me the correct set overnight. A+++ customer service from Hedman and Summit.

I have used a bunch of aftermarket Jeep engine mounts, both OEM style and conversion for SBC and LS. M. O. R. E. products always fit, and the quality is second to none. This style uses an OEM TJ Control Arm bushing for the mount insert, and produces zero vibration like some of the urethane mounts on the market.

These are the best mount I have used for YJ, TJ, and XJ applications. Look no further if you need quality Jeep engine more mounts.

Very easy install. Fit right into my 06 LJ rubicon wrangler with no problem. Will not work with engine spacers. Took me about an hour or so to install. Engine has no vibration upon starting or running very strong product.

Highly recommend for replacement of your old OEM worn out mounts. Game changer and they also offer mounts to work with body lifts. Very good quality and heavy duty to hold up for long term.

I bought these motor mounts based on reviews on various Jeep Forums. They are well made. My first bit of disappointment was that I thought i had ordered the galvanized units but received the unpainted ones.

I realized that what was pictured here on Extreme’s web site was not what I received. OK so cleaned and painted and next went to install them on my TJ. All went well until I tried to tighten the bolts that drop down through the hole in the frame.

OEM mounts use a welded stud. The head of the bolt started to spin. The design uses a box cut in mount frame that is supposed to keep the bolt from spinning. This was not the case on either one of the mounts.

Called the manufacturer on 4/13. They said they never had this problem before but they would send out a new set of mounts with the bolt welded in place. Today 4/22 they have not yet welded the stud in the motor mounts because they were to busy.

They said they would get to it as soon as possible. In the mean time I cannot drive my vehicle! Not pleased at all with the customer service.

I would have rated them a 5* but they came raw. The listed features on the page say these are Zinc-Plated Steel, but they are not. It’s not a big deal to put a couple coats of paint on them, but i specifically didn’t want to deal with that.

I didn’t really have the time to wait for that, but I had to postpone my install another day. I’ll be honest, install is tricky. That wouldn’t change with any other lifted mounts. It just takes some work with the jack and rocking the jeep back and forth to get the bolt back in.

I like these as they gave me enough room for the header to fit. built well, they definitely transmit more engine vibration into the vehicle. fit perfectly with no mods which was a nice change. I powder coated mine even though they are zinc coated already as it just looks nicer.
