My 8 year old was ecstatic to receive this as a gift. Perfect for “battle” for any Minecraft fan. Looked great on arrival but after a days play, all the corners are scuffed. Free courier delivery and arrived within 2 days.

Gave it an average because it’s not bad. But seems like it wasn’t kept in a proper handled environment there are weird spots on it and the paint at the top is also kinda coming off. Because it was a gift it didn’t look very presentable it only looks good from afar since the spots aren’t visible.

My son loves this pick axe. I love that he couldn’t break it. I had already purchased the diamond sword previously for his Halloween costume so when he wanted a pick axe for Christmas it was a no brainer where to buy it from.

If you find the sound stops working then grab a small philips screwdriver and let’s go! You’re also going to need a small plastic drinking straw (like what you get with a carton drink). Remove the 9 screws that hold the cover over the speaker in place and remove the cover.

On the inside of the cover you’ve just removed you’ll find a small plastic pin dead in the centre, pop the straw over it and cut it off so that the straw is a couple of mm taller than the plastic pin.

Now pop the cover back on, doing the screws up nice and tight, and the plastic straw will be applying some pressure to the speaker and you should have sound again!.

My kids were very excited to try out this sword. They are HUGE Minecraft fans! They absolutely love bright colors, the fact that it looks like something right out of the game and the sound effects. But they did have some issues with it.

They did not like the fact that there was no on and off switch (my oldest is always concerned about wasting batteries) and that there was no volume control. They both felt that it was too loud and asked me if I could put tape over the speaker.

They also felt it was too heavy. After swinging it around for a little while, their little arms grew tired and then they didn’t want to play with it any more. The sword is also supposed to change colors and sound effects by swinging it, but unless I was the one swinging it or they were swinging really really hard, it didn’t work.

Its like the sensor for that was sensitive enough for the weaker strength of a child. The sword is also very large, so with the combination of the size, the weight and the fact that they have to swing it extremely intensely to get it to respond, it got them quite frustrated.

It seems like it is more suited to an older child like 10+ which seems silly because I don’t see kids that age playing with something like this by the time they reach that age. All in all its a cute toy that my kids enjoy but I know they would enjoy more if there were a few small changes that would make play easier and more enjoyable for them!.

My son got this for Christmas, he played with it few hours and sound stopped working, we felt embarrassed to ask our friends for receipt but our son was really disappointed so we did. next day we exchanged it for another one which has worked fine only 2 months and the same problem with sound occurred.

We will exchange for something else this time, not worth 30 pounds at all. Also should have volume button because it is very loud for parents especially in the morning lol.

An enjoyable story of christmas and its important to think of others too. Read this book and feel full of christmas joy after. Would highly recomend to anybody with a love of christmas

My son loves mine craft & the play swords & things they make for pretend play. Usually they’re made out of a thick foam, are just as expensive but because it’s all foam never usually lasts for very long.

But this one has a sturdy thick hard plastic casing over the foam part so I don’t think this one will tear up as easy as the others! And it’s super simple, you just pull up on the top to make it a sword & it locks in place or you give it a good push back down to make it the pic axe.

I for see this being a huge hit for his bday, & actually worth what I paid compared to the other mind craft swords!.

My son will be Steve for Halloween and this along with a mask from Etsy will be perfect. He was thrilled and has played with it every day. There are some foam swords that are cheaper but this has some heavy duty plastic and easily transforms to a pickaxe which my son loves.

I recommend spending the extra couple of bucks. It will hold up well and looks good.

Very cool toy! The arrow broke on the 3rd day, right in the middle but company happily replaced item. My kids decided to hit one another so it was not damaged due to proper use. Very easy to handle and shoot for smaller children and flies well.

I’m not sure how long the stretch bands will last but we’ll see.

I didn’t expect this toy to be worth much. It stole the show at my daughters 6th birthday party! We had a Minecraft theme. This was one of her gifts. After it was unboxed kids AND adults were fighting to play with it! It’s really made well.

It came in original packaging. My child was completely excited to have received this as a gift!

The actual blade part is very cheap weak plastic that is HOLLOW. I did not think it was gonna be hollow and so light and weak. The picture makes it look like it has a built in sturdy carrying strap. It doesnt.

It comes with a thin flimsy long peice of black ribbon that you have to tie yourself. The covering is too big and doesnt securely fit over the sword. It fits loosely and is made of extremely thin weak plastic, as is the rest of the sword.

It doesnt securely sit over the bottom on the handle so when you try to carry it the sword just slides out. The only good part is the handle. Its sturdy and looks as pictured but the rest is just terribly made conserving you’re paying 13 dollars for it.

This toy should be in the dollar store for 4. 99 at MOST.

To use this sword with my O-Ren costume !!! The sword certainly doesnt have a fancy feel as its a costume sword. I do wish i paid a little less, but its longer than the cheaper swords, which probably makes up for the price difference.

The sword is really nice and not as weak as I thought it would be, its actually pretty firm. I painted over it for a Comicon costume and it looked great. I would definitely recommend this product.

We bought this to complete my son’s Halloween costume and it was the perfect addition. The sword is not flimsy at all but is made of sturdy plastic. In fact, my younger son had the genius idea to throw the sword which hit the wall and left a dent in the wall.

The sword is well constrcted and is hard plastic. I was partially expecting something of foam, so this is definitely for an older child who will know better than to use it as a potential weapon. My 7 year old son loves Minecraft. When he saw the item, he immediately knew what it was. He said wow that’s a Minecraft Diamond sword. He swung the sword around a bit and said he really liked it. He was receiting info about the sword and how it works in Minecraft.

As his dad, I know nothing about Minecraft and thought the sword was lacking and plain. I figured the sword would more play features like lights or sounds or to be able to extend. However, my son loves it and liked that the Diamond sword looks like the one in the game that he plays.

My son’s, 6 and 10, both absolutely love this sword. In fact, my 6 year old hasn’t put it down. He’s carried with us everywhere and loves how to brings Minecraft to real life for him. It doesn’t light up and there’s nothing special about it, it’s literally just a plastic sword but he has had so much fun with already.

My kids took it outside and beat down snow men with it and we haven’t had any issues with cracking or scratching yet. I think it’s a great toy to bring out imaginative play and they’re asking for more.

My son and daughter received these as an early Christmas present from their Grandparents. After having them for approximately a week, one of the swords is showing exposed white plastic material (I’m not sure what to call it but it’s the stuff inside the sword I’m assuming to give it stability) from the inside and has made the sword tear at the handle.

It looks like the white material popped and made the handle crack. The other sword has the outer layer of the EVA foam coming off. like it wasn’t glued properly. They are cute and were fun for a few days.

Glad I didn’t pay the money for them. If you’re not gonna play with them I think they would be ok but if you are I wouldn’t spend the almost $20 for these.

All my 4-year old grandson wanted form Santa was a mine craft sword. My daughter and son-in-law had already purchased leapfrog tablets. So, being filled with the Christmas spirit I searched the internet and found mine craft swords at a very reasonable price at Walmart.

They arrived at the store earlier than promised, which took away a lot of stress. The boys were all smiles Christmas morning, and put the swords to the test the next six days. The performed marvelously! I have no doubt that they wii be around for next Christmas.

My son received this for Christmas and he loves it! He carries it everywhere with him and even sleeps with it. It is heavier than it looks and when you get walloped with it you know. The “paint” is wearing off on the handle so the coloring is funky, but it is still structurally sound, It looks (or it did when it was new) so much like the sword from the game.

I think $20 is a bit pricey for this, but you’re paying for the novelty. I would recommend this to a friend, but would be sure to tell them that the coloring wears off with extended use.

My son loves this, but it isn’t durable. It really shouldn’t be sold as a toy. The plastic stabilizer rod is poking out through the pommel on both sides, and some of the color has chipped off – he’s only had this since February.

My son loves this sword. It’s very durable, we have had our Minecraft swords for several months and they have held up perfectly. They are expensive at around $20 a piece but the kids love them and they are still like new even though they have fought off several zombies.

I bought this sword for my six year old grandson, and it doesn’t do anything. I thought it would glow in the dark or something. But nothing. What a waste of money! I was discussed and so was he!!

Lightweight, comfortable grip handle and extremely well made! I bought 3 different types and they all look Minecraft original in colour. The material is strong and sturdy.

I was very happy with this toy for my Minecraft loving son. Pros: the size is perfect for actual play fights. It’s a sturdy feeling toy. The sword makes sounds that are loud enough to hear while playing but not so loud it annoys others around.

My son said “ it’s a fun toy because the sounds make it like you are in Minecraft”. I also liked watching him use his imagination while playing solo. Cons: while there are very few negatives there is one big doozy.

The tip of the sword is plastic while the shaft is a foam type material. The plastic tip hurts bad when you are accidentally hit. Both myself and my son wish the entire sword was outlined in the foam.

My two boys, ages 10 and 6, are relatively new to the Minecraft world. Since they love playing the video game, I was hoping this toy would bring them off screen into imaginary play, and I wasn’t disappointed.

The BEST play sword for kids that love Minecraft or any kids that love sword playing in general. I cannot tell you how much my kids love this toy. They can’t seem to put it down. It is extremely sturdy.

It has a nice feel to it. It is extremely well made and held up nicely even when the kids play rough. Not too heavy so my kids can swing it around. The kids love the 2 different sound effects that the sword makes.

As for a mom’s perspective, this is my favorite part… If you look closely, the side of the sword (the part where the kids tend to hit things or their siblings with) is made out of nice quality foam. GENIUS!!.

I have three Minecraft fans in my house and they all fought over who would get to keep this sword for themselves. As far as detail is concerned as I am not a Minecraft expert my boys wished it had some “purple” in it as it’s a netherite sword but otherwise they said it was realistic and a good upgrade from the diamond sword they have.

The quality is fairly good -it’s a hard plastic and made to look like one in the game. However I would not recommend purchasing this as a “play” sword but more for decoration. The hard plastic would either cause injuries or ultimately crack if used as a toy weapon.

This Minecraft sword is sturdy and looks just the sword in the game. My son was excited to play with it. He was expecting it to light up, make noise or change since his other Minecraft toys have done this.

As a parent I was a little worried about how hard the blade is. I have bought him other Minecraft swords that had a foam like blade which I felt was safer than this sword. All in all this toy is good.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was not made from the standard foam or cheap bendable plastic that most play swords are made from. This is made from strong durable plastic and has held up to some major playing.

My kids enjoy playing Minecraft and a toy like this gets them up and away from their screens! This play sword is made of very durable, hard plastic with the exception of hard gray foam on either side of the blade.

There is no foam at the tip, however, so stabbing motions would really hurt. I probably will end up designating this sword as an outdoor toy because the swinging motions required to successfully register as a hit take up a lot of real estate in my basement.

This sword has a single button which allows a child to toggle through three different enemies. I can’t tell a creeper sound from a zombie or skeleton sound but my kids assure me that the enemies are easily identifiable and true to the video game sounds.

To defeat an enemy, the sword swinger has to register four hits within ten seconds. My kids must have a great imagination because they swear that you have to swing high, low, left, and right to “locate” the enemy in our playroom.

I really don’t think this sword is that sophisticated, but if it fuels their imagination that a creeper is by the couch, I’m all for it. I also found the volume to be pretty low for this toy and I didn’t see a way to adjust it.

So the repetitive sounds are not as annoying to parents as they could be. I personally wanted it a bit louder so old mom could tell exactly when I struck an ememy, but again my kids had no problem distinguishing specific sounds.

I received the Minecraft Dungeons Deluxe Sound Sword Accessory as part of a promotion for my honest opinion. This sword is a great addition to every Minecraft lovers toy collection. Previous Minecraft swords did not have a sound chip installed.

This one does and its been used to battle a few “spiders” and creepers already. The sound isn’t too loud nor is it annoying. Imaginative play has definitely gotten better than in my time. The only thing that peeves me has nothing to do with the actual product but with the shipping company.

I was told that Fedex would be delivering our sword. It arrived with the box ripped open and the sword obviously tampered with. There were a few scratches on the handle and tip of the sword and the plastic piece that is suppose to block the batteries from working until it has been pulled out was obviously pulled out and replaced backwards and I had to take pilers to remove it.

A ton of clorox wipes and lysol spray later my son was able to play with his sword.

My child really enjoyed playing with this Minecraft sword. He fought many imaginary creepers and zombies. He also enjoyed just swinging the sword around to hear the many sounds it makes! I was a little disappointed in the quality of the product though.

He dropped it once and a small piece of plastic broke off the hilt of the sword. There is foam along the edges of the blade but the tip is hard plastic. Kids will be kids, and of course sword fight, and my other child was hurt by the hard plastic at the tip.

So while this sword is fun, I wouldn’t recommend it for those with multiple warrior children like I have. And I do wish the construction was a little better because I don’t think this sword has much durability despite being a “destruction” toy.

Im saving this for my sons upcoming birthday. He will be so excited. He has wanted one but I was surprised by how expensive they were. I checked Walmart and found and it was half the price of other stores.

When it arrived, I was so happy to find that it was a generous size and feels very sturdy.

It’s a good prop for the Minecraft costumes. The only thing I did not like is how it’s a bit thick in the handle part and I have big hands. It should have been made to have a better grip on it. I don’t see holding it for long.

I bought these for a school event. I needed something students could wield during throwing and bowling style games that would not injure themselves or others. These fit the bill. There are 6 swords and 6 shields.

The swords are like pool noodle foam, sturdy enough to knock down a plastic bowling pin but blunt and lightweight enough not to be dangerous. They held up under heavy use. The shields are a thick craft foam.

They held up well to blocking bean bags tossed at them. The handles attach with snaps, which was good to prevent tearing. Unfortunately the straps came off too easily and students lost them, leaving me with 3 strapless shields.

I brought these home to my toddler and they are a favorite toy.

These were a big hit at a 3 year old Princess/Knight themed party! We tested the swords to be sure they wouldn’t hurt in case any of the kids mis-used them. They don’t hurt! We made up games using them: one called “Get the Dragon Eggs to the Nest” involved pushing balls across the yard (with the sword) to the “nests” of hula hoops on the ground.

The other, “Help the Baby Dragons to Fly” involved using the shield to try to keep balloons aloft. Happiness!.

The sword and shield were perfect for our summer camp. The material is foam and was very sturdy, but still soft enough that it wouldn’t hurt. The only thing that was a little different than pictured is the tips of the sword were more “blunt” and not as sharp.

) we finally made it here to Party City’s website and decided on this one. We saw the comment about how the trident arrived broken, but for the cost and time we had on our side, we decided to chance it.

I’m so glad that we did! It came packaged incredibly well — all in one piece in a 5ft by 1. 5ft sturdy box with lots of air bubble packing material. We ended up modifying it a bit to fit more in with the sea-theme so you can see from the picture what it looked like! 🙂 For the cost of this thing (with the free shipping code, we got it within 5 days!) I can’t believe they made any money on it after the free shipping and the quality of the packaging but we were VERY happy with it and will definitely be back in the future for our Halloween costume needs!.

We used this for a Harry Potter party held by the library. Looks enough like the sword of Gryffindor. The kids loved it. I was impressed with the detail. I like how shiny the silver is. The red jewel is a nice touch.

Not for the kid who will bash it on things or people- probably could do some damage. (Not sharp. ).

Omg when I received this adventure force light up sword I let my 4 year old grandson open the box. I don’t know what I was thinking because when I asked if I could see it he refused. lol. Once he discovered it was a light up sword that was it! He was super excited he kept saying he couldn’t wait til night time to see how it looks in the dark.

When he woke up the next morning that was the first thing he grabbed and asked if he could take it to school. lol The adventure light up sword is made of sturdy foam and I could tell that it will last for awhile.

There is a connector piece at the type of the sword so you could add another sword so I’m going to buy him another one.

We received this and my son at first like the look of it but after playing with it for a little while there were 2 things that negatively impacted his and Mine opinion of it and the first was you have to continually hold the button down to make it light up which became a bit of a pain after a while and also the sword is very hard itself so when playing with friends if someone gets whacked with it it really hurts ! The idea of it is good just a few drawbacks.

Don’t think we would recommend it.

The kids are usually excited when receiving toys to play with in the mail. This styrofoam sword didn’t get the attention from them that most toys would. I get that companies want to manufacture safe toys.

The light didn’t keep their attention either. My little ones are rough.
