20 Best Dump Cart For Lawn Tractor (2023 Updated)

I’ve had success with my trailer. It does what I need, and it has been durable. However, replacing the tires is a major hassle. The axle does not appear to be a standard size, so no wheels you can buy anywhere (Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc) fit.

The axle is a few millimeters bigger than the standard wheel size. You have to buy a new tire and then find someone to put it on the craftsman wheel. If anything happens to your Craftsman wheel, you’re screwed.

For this reason I would avoid this product.

Upon opening the box I checked that all the components were there and looked new. The plastic had a few gouges and scratches but I looked pass it because the wheels and other hardware looked new, so I blamed the gouges on shipping.

The assembly went as designed and focused on the bottom (wheels, axle etc. ). Once complete I did a closer inspection and noticed there was a long ‘BREAK’ where the 2x4s would fit. Disappointed but wasn’t about to dis-assemble and return.

I now need to stop that break from getting worse.

The trailer itself is working great. The problem was that the employee that put it together only hand tightened the nuts. So im now missing almost half the nuts and have to go through and buy new nuts to fit.

Total mess.

It’s light, easy to use and functions fine. I should have bought the one with the taller axel and ground clearance. With this one the materials have to be shoveled out when you dump it. It’s inconvenient but not the end of the world.

Having just purchased a hobby farm we needed a sturdy cart to make it easy to move certain items around mainly in the gardens and orchard. This tuff little unit is outstanding and with the multi function of hitching it to the ride on and or pull handle its so versatile.

Highly recommended.

I bought this as a trailer for the ride on mower. Its so good I now use it as a wheel barrow by hand aswell. Only downside is, it doesn’t reverse like a single axle trailer. I only recommend reversing short distances while towing.

This thing is huge!! And Sturdy! Gorilla Carts are my favorite hauler. I have the next smaller model for hauling rocks and stuff and when this bigger model came out I had to get it. They have made the assembly simpler and the cart frame is stronger with bigger wheels.

I kind of miss the automotive type steering but the wagon steering this comes with is easier to assemble and just as stable with the wide stance of the wheels. If you have a delicate nose that can’t abide smells don’t say you weren’t warned, all these have that rubber/plastic smell that will go away in time, not a big deal.

The bolts are all separated into groups for each assembly step, very helpful.

I will post an update if things change but this trailer has been working well for me as I have been moving loads of soil, compost, mulch, firewood, and plants around the property (small, in town lot).

I have primarily been moving it around by hand, it has been easy enough that I am considering installing some detachable wheelbarrow handles and using it like a large wheelbarrow most of the time and moving it with a little 125cc dirtbike the rest of the time (low speeds means that the braking won’t be an issue).

I definitely would recommend it for light uses and see no issues with it handling somewhat heavier use. The limiting factor on a larger property would be remembering that the rated top speed is 4mph.

Assembly: it took me about half an hour inside a tiny 7×7 shed with a few hand tools to put it together Durability: I have only had it for about a month but the materials seem to be reasonable quality though not industrial.

Concerns: 1- Initial concern was that they cared little enough that the box was actually inside out (with the labels on the inside). If they cared this little about the packaging I was concerned about how the rest of the manufacturing process went 2-Rust: there were spots where the paint was already chipped and there wast rust on the trailer straight out of the (inside out) box.

This is currently minor surface rust but it guarantees that the trailer will have rust issues going forward 3- Damage: One corner of the trailer had been smashed and was bent out of shape. It did not affect function but certainly will affect durability.

Highlights: 1- Single piece dump bin is nice 2- Easy assembly 3- Remaining paint seems durable 4- Easy to roll over an uneven lawn and through some mud Overall I do recommend it. I would have returned it and gotten another but there didn’t seem to be many available and I needed it.

I do recommend it but I would definitely check yours over for damage right away.

Best value out of all the major box stores in Canada. Welded box, not bolted. Therefore assembly is easy. The price point is way ahead of the comparable ones at home depo. If you want a cart for use at home that’s inexpensive this is the one by a landslide.

The quality and price point is amazing at 229. It’s not a commercial steel cart or anything but it’s better than most that are around 400. Get this one.

I bought a gorilla cart about 5 years ago at WM that was put together so I didn’t have too. The cart is such a good buy. Haven’t put any water in this so I can’t say if it will leak, but my other one didn’t.

The tilt function works like a charm. I have had wheel barrows that was hard to transport soil, rock, water, etc in. Putting this one together was a little rough. I didn’t have the right tools but after I bought a socket set with open/box wrenches, it was easier.

Use a stubby screwdriver, that helps too. My gorilla cart along with my tools didn’t make it from TN. I am 70 and put this together by myself. Would I buy another one? That would be a definite yes. It says will hold 600 lbs, this I don’t know for sure.

I absolutely adore this wagon. Its all I hoped it would be and far more. I haul anything and everything in it and there is no strain on my back. Its made for adults and has a handle you dont have to lean OVER to pull with, its easily maneuvered to change any angle and its so lightweight yet very durable!! I move small trees to transplant, haul dirt and flowers and water and anything I want to !! I move quite large rocks to make borders for my flower beds, and I can move my lawn furniture around too.

Finally!! Something that everyone can use and works WITH your body to not hurt or strain joints or muscles too much.

Looks like a good sturdy cart but you can’t assemble it unless you order proper parts and have a machine shop to correct the manufacturing deficiencies. The axle is 1″ but the bushings in the wheels are 3/4″.

I called customer service who were very friendly and nice. They told me they would ship new bushings. It took 10 days to receive the bushings. I noticed afterwards that there was also a dust cap missing from one of the wheels.

No big deal, but this is supposed to be a new product. I guess they have low standards. When the bushings finally arrived, I tapped out the old ones with a punch and hammer easy enough. I don’t have a machine shop or arbor press.

I didn’t realize this was going to be part of the assembly when I ordered the cart. To install the new ones I started them by tapping them in with a block of wood and hammer, then I inserted a bolt with washers and pulled them together as I tightened the nut.

Seemed to go ok, but one of them didn’t seat right against the hub and had a small gap on each side. I thought it might have been impeded by the grease nipple protruding on the inside and didn’t want to force anything, so I installed the wheels that now fit on the axle.

However, now it was not possible to secure both wheels because the hole spacing on the retainer pins was too close together. So now the decision is whether to cut down the spacers, or try and close the gaps on the bushings that were not fully seated on the one wheel.

I decided to try and push the bushings in more by tightening the bolt a little more. I chose wrong. the wheel cracked and it still doesn’t fit. you shouldn’t have to go through this to assemble any product.

I’d advise you to consider something already assembled.

Great versatile dump cart. Includes do-it-yourself plans to cut separators for the cart so it can be divided into three parts; also includes simple plans to build stake sides and front for but items such as leaves (not to exceed load limit of the cart) or add a garden tool rack to the stakes.

Poly cart will not rust and the frame is built of heavy duty steel. I do not plan to leave it in the weather when not in use but if you must, it will stand up to years of use. Best capabilities for the price of any lawn cart I have researched.

No regrets.

The cart itself is nice. I like the foot operated dump, swivel cart, and spring loaded hitch. My only negative is that Tractor Supply did a horrible job assembling this. I had to replace one bolt that had the threads stripped when it was installed and was also missing a nut.

More than half the nuts holding the cart to the frame were loose or only hand tightened. The cart also has some cosmetic damage to the sides I’m guessing from shipping but its not that big of a deal to me I’ll probably add to those scratches.

The 5-star rating is for the cart itself. The assembly instructions need work. Cart arrived with 2 different sets of instructions, with some different/necessary information on one or the other set. Multiple pages in an illogical arrangement.

Cart parts had no identifier (need just a letter sticker on a part or bag of parts). Bolts and nuts of different sizes were in same bag, slowing identification. Assembly by 2 people with skills took w-a-a-a-y longer than it should have: ~3 hrs instead of 1+ hr.

The axle assembly was not well-described, esp regarding the odd clip used to secure the wheel. Yikes. Please have a technical writer revise the manual into a single document, and identify the parts clearly.

So: cart itself is 5-stars; assembly manual etc. is 1-star.

I’ve had this trailer for a few months now. It’s actually the second one I’ve owned from this company. I had such good luck with the 1st one hauling firewood in the mountains of Vermont that I purchased this one at my new home in Florida.

After ten years of extremely rugged abuse it’s still in use as I gave it to my brother. When I moved to Florida I Initially purchased a Less expensive trailer. I blew out both wheelbearings twice hauling dirt on my property.

I’ve done the same thing with this one a number of times but no problems whatsoever. And this one is bigger. My only complaint is the hardware on the inside of the body. When you’re shoveling the dirt out the tenants to catch the shovel even though they are round head bolts.

You can go wrong with Agrifab products.

Pros: PRICE!, foot dump, removable tailgate, size for the money, good tires so far, sturdy so far. Cons: a lot of nuts and bolts to sort out before you can begin assembly, was not well protected or packed safely, arrived with a good bit of scratches, dents and small bends in the steel walls.

Opinion: I didn’t mind the scratches and dents or small bends because they didn’t hinder assembly and I knew I’d be giving it way more of the same with hauling brick, brush, rocks and logs. I recommend 2 people for assembly.

Even a third is you’ve got a teenager who needs something to do.

At the time of writing this review, I actually haven’t had a chance to use it. However, I had a couple of issues with the execution of this design: — first, the wheels are not perpendicular to the unit; they splay out both vertically and longitudinally.

The problem is with the undercarriage assembly; the bend in the tubes and the iwelding cause the wheels to be out of alignment. I called Ohio Steel and they immediately sent out a new assembly at their expense, (which was very nice of them).

Unfortunately, the replacement uncercarriage was even worse. I did find that turning the original undercarriage around 180 degrees seemed to help the longitudinal alignment, making the wheels “toe in” at the front, rather than toeing out.

— the bolts that fasten the undercarriage and front support to the body will “spin” in their hexagonal recessed holes, such that they can never be fully tightened. The problem here is that the holes are slightly too large in size; coupled with the fact that the body is a plastic, and the bolt heads will spin when tightening.

To solve this, I added lock washers under the heads of the bolts (the parts only provide lock washers for under the nuts). Then, while tightening, I jammed a 3/16″ straight blade screwdriver between each bolt head and the sides of the recessed hole; these modifications allow me to fully tighten the bolts securely.

Time will tell if the unit holds up under use. I really like the concept of this hybrid unit, and their customer support was excellent. But the execution of their design needs improvement.

Have assembled this but haven’t used it yet—waiting for my UTV hitch to arrive. Bought this for the added features; hybrid hitch, swivel dump, the pass-through axle, and especially for the multiple slots allowing 1×3 fences, 2×4 cross members, and bin dividers.

Don’t know how much use I’ll get out of the hybrid hitch, especially since it was rusted shut and a little out-of-round so I had to put it in a vice to get it back into round and I greased it up. Works a little better but still gets stuck.

Received this unit unassembled. The box was on a pallet outside so it got rained on many times and the box collapsed and opened up wide, hence the rusted parts. With the box opened I figured there might be some missing parts.

There were but not because the box was open. The hardware came in heavy-duty plastic bags which were still in the box and intact, but there were two extra kotter keys that were of a size that wasn’t required and didn’t fit anything (weren’t even listed in the list of parts) and the largest kotter key of which there was supposed to be two, there was only one.

Will have to go buy one as it keeps the hitch pin in place Overall it’s a well-made unit, with the exception of the hybrid hitch, which could have been designed better. The poly tub is a very thick HDPE that I’m sure will take a lot of abuse.

Al the welds seem to have good, solid beads. The steel undercarriage is nice and thick. Beware that the tub volume is 15 cubic feet “heaped”, but is actually 12. 5 cubic feet, which was listed on the box but not in the online description.

Not a deal breaker as I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of this dump cart.

This cart works perfectly with my Simplicity Broadmoor tractor which has a hitch 14 inches from the ground. I used it to haul sod from where my future 20 ft x 20 ft garden will be. The 15 cu. ft. capacity is a bit deceptive because that is taking a heaping load into account not the actual bed capacity.

It does have to be assembled and I had to use a mallet several times to “help” some bolts through misaligned holes. I ran into a problem when trying to grease the wheels with my grease gun. The grease fittings are on the hub and point straight out toward the inside wall of the wheel.

I had a lot of trouble getting the grease gun to seal on the fitting even with a flexible hose because there is not enough clearance. I suggested they change the straight fitting to a 45 degree fitting to make grease the wheels less of a hassle.

I’ll probably change these grease fittings before I have to grease them again. For as expensive as this cart is I feel like I shouldn’t haven anything to complain about. The hitch height was the selling point for me.

Overall, I would recommend it.

Good price overall and good quality or it appears to be after I put it together. The instructions were difficult to follow and I couldn’t use the hex bolts (with Phillips heads) because I couldn’t get anything to hold it firm while wrenching the bolts.

I wound up buying new bolts and lock washer at ***** to replace those parts. This is a two person job to put this together. And by myself it really took about 2 or 3 hours on 4 separate days to get it together.

But it’s finally put together and ready to use. Though i will go back and replace some of the original nuts and botls with the ones I purchased from *****. The test of true quality will show when I use this next weekend to spred topsoil on my lawn.

However, hooked up to my 42 Craftsman’s riding mower, it’s leans back at a slight angle rather than being level. Small complaint but one nonetheless. It also has extra holes that will let dirt out when the trailer if full of topsoil.

And the seal in the middle where the two bottom parts of the trailer fit together also have small holes that will also let dirt out. I bout this online without seeing one in the store. If I had, I may have purchased a different trailer.

But I bought this one for the good price and the Craftsman name and reputation. However, that doesn’t seem to be but it used to be worth in reputation.

I bought the 12. 5 cu ft dump cart less than a month ago from a Husqvarna dealer. It is a back saver, a time saver, and it is extremely easy to use. It has definitely replaced my wheelbarrow. Before, I could get 12 shovel loads into my wheelbarrow, now I can load 60 shovel loads into my dump cart and it is still not at capacity.

That translates into many fewer trips and less empty trips back to load up mulch, topsoil and compost bags.

I purchased the dump cart to go with my Hysqvarna YT46LS lawn tractor. I’ve hauled gravel, mulch, top soil, and all my garage junk. It’s amazing. AND being plastic, I don’t have to worry about soil or water left over for a couple of days.

The dump feature works really well, the swivel is amazing. I was about to buy the lawn sweeper because the 3 bag grass / leaf holders fills up so quickly; but I just saw a video on YouTube about building your own leaf collection attachment or wagon and this cart has inserts for 2×4’s (maybe 2×3’s, I have to check), so I’m going to build one with the dump cart – wrap the frame of a box wooden box above the cart with window screen and extend the leaf collection tube into the screened in box above the dump cart and presto! I love this cart.

Purchased this cart today from ACE Hardware. Loaded the tub to the max with Clay, heavy stuff. Three test loads no issues, see no weaknesses, for the material we were hauling worked perfectly. Did the normal web search for Dump Carts, for the price nothing measured up.

The tub is thicker, stronger than any like product on the market.

Too tall for a standard lawn tractor hitch, sits with a strong lean forwards. Though manufactured and sold with a hitch to couple to a lawn tractor this cart would be better suited with a ball coupler to tow behind an atv.

Build quality is very nice, cart has a great rugged feel, everything seems great other than the height issue, I returned mine as the forward lean bothered me too much.

I was initially impressed with the design and quality of this cart until I used it. The back of the bed is designed like a wheel barrow but the rotation point is different so it doesn’t really dump anything.

The back ends up near horizontal and you have to drag everything out by hand. May not sound like a big deal until you consider a load of dirt or stone. Not acceptable. Buy one with a removable tailgate if you want a dump trailer that actually dumps!.

This is one of the nicest carts I’ve ever owned and I’ve had a lot of them over the past 45 years or so. :). It’s great for firewood – Mulch – And much more. I love the way it dumps and it even swivels just a real nice setup.

Got the product on time and the instructions were very straightforward. The dump function is a bit touchy so I simply secured the lever with a bungee strap. As some of the other reviewers it did come with the wrong back gate but one quick email to Ohio Steel and a new one was shipped to me and received in a few days.

I have hauled several thousand pounds of lumber with this being pulled by my ATV and I’m impressed. The company and product are exemplary!.

Just had this cart delivered today. Didn’t say anything about the bed/body being 2 separate pieces. That’s very unfortunate. Seemed like sturdy enough steel while still in pieces. The cheap grade 0 hardware that’s included is a joke.

They don’t even provide any locking mechanism for the bolts or nuts. Also unfortunate. After my first final assembly following the directions step by step to a T, I set the cart on its wheels and it’s twisted and crooked.

The locking dump mechanism doesn’t line up. The “tailgate” doesn’t fit. The whole thing is completely twisted. But every seam and line lines up perfectly. Attempt to loosen the grade 0 hardware only to find that most of them won’t loosen all the way.

Most likely due to the soft metal melting and deforming during tightening. So now the majority of this hardware must be cut off and replaced with NEW hardware that I must purchase on my own. So, I threw the directions and the factory hardware in the trash where they belong.

I reassembled the cart upside down with all new hardware leaving everything loose until it was all together. Needless to say nothing lined up properly. Panels were bent incorrectly. Holes didn’t line up.

What a joke. I had to use a piece of plywood and make a jig to keep the body straight as I tightened each bolt, removed bolts to make holes line up squarely, adjusted each piece so it would sit correctly and anything that moved lined up properly.

After many hours of unnecessary screwing around and spending more money it’s finally together and functions somewhat properly for what it is. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I upgraded to this 20 c. f. dump cart and happy I did. Carrying long branches is much easier. Holds a full load of firewood without issues. Evidence is they are making improvements. Some of the complaints in other reviews seem reconciled.

In fact, some improvements aren’t even covered in the assembly instructions yet! For example, the brackets that provide rigidity to the back dump panel have been redesigned and now use four bolts each.

The material is solid and there are a zillion bolts holding things together. If a few come loose over time, this cart will still hold together. The dump panel is quite a tight fit, but as I will use it infrequently, I’d rather have it be more like a fixed piece.

A little leverage with a screw driver under the bottom lip and it will come right up for dumping. One minor complaint is that the cart rattles a bit. the rear panel clanks against the top support bar.

I put some rubber padding in there and no more noise.

Ordered May, 2014. Arrived with damage to dump body, so negotiated add’l 25% discount in order to keep it. Not a big deal since I was unconcerned with cosmetics. Assembly: Pretty easy. Usage: Has been great for transporting all kinds of stuff (say up to 500lbs.

) to my dock and around the neighborhood at my lake house. Typically tow it with my golf cart. Problems: There are a couple. 1. Rear tailgate has no reinforcements around the sides and bottom, tends to get bent with loads shifting into it.

Have had to add angle iron around sides and bottom to provide support. Now works fine. 2. A wheel bearing failed last weekend carrying a load of dirt, weighing probably 600-700lbs. Called Customer Service from the owner’s manual, they are shipping complete bearing sets for both wheels at no charge.

They said to change both. (I would not attempt to load this cart to its rated capacity (1500lbs. ) due to the wheel bearing setup and the difficulty of keeping center of gravity over a single axle in proper balance, could get hurt due to shifting loads.

) Summary: Good roomy cart for hauling bulky items like pressure washers and pumps, loaded 150 qt. Igloo coolers, etc. If I Had To Do It Over: I would lean toward a double axle, 4 wheel cart. It would handle my loads better and if you are hauling dirt, rock or items in excess of 700lbs.

, definitely go with 4 wheels and double axle.

The trailer is nice. Easy to put together. Would had it put together in a 1/2 hour but shorted one of the bigger nuts so I had to make a trip to the hardware store. Love the trailer though.

It arrived in a timely manner in an undamaged carton on a skid pallet. Unpacking the cart was easy and assembly was easy as well. It is well built and handles well when pulled by my ATV. The metal is heavy gauge sheet metal with a durable finish, and the axle and wheels are heavy duty and well made.

I am very happy with my purchase and finding many uses for the cart around my property. Great product and well worth the price!.

7 years and still going strong. Rocks, dirt, deer, moose, whatever you can fit in it under 1200lbs. Most versatile thing on the homestead. You can’t find capacity, weight rating and ground clearance on any other ATV trailer out there for the price.

Durability is second to none and I have never replaced a tire or bearing to date. Grease them twice a year. You won’t regret buying this one. If they made a bigger one I would buy it immediately.

Wheel spacers are too big for wheel assembly. Cannot use both washers to secure the tire as outlined in the instructions. The cotter pin will not fit through the hole in the wheel axil to secure the tire.

Using only one washer does not secure the tire. Unacceptable. Now I have to figure out to transport a large 122 lb cart back to Tractor Supply.

I originally thought I was shipped another cart accidentally, but the model number I ordered and what arrived match, so it’s the website that’s wrong on a few accounts: 1) The title is Ohio Steel, but you get their sub-brand, AllFitHD.

Not a big deal, they’re basically the same. 2) The cart is 12. 5 cu ft, not 15 as advertised. 3) The max weight is 1000 lbs, not 1200 as advertised. 4) You don’t get the spring loaded hitchpin as shown.

In fact the assembly isn’t the same either. You get a standard hole / hairpin style. Assembly was tricky but doable. It’s essentially impossible to fit the plastic sleeve through the axle and the draw-bar.

In fact the axle itself only barely fits through so I don’t know where they thought a sleeve would also work. I decided not to use it at all as it doesn’t seem to serve much purpose. No way filing it down would work either, the tolerances are just too tight on the one I received.

The cart itself seems especially rugged as does the steel material. I’m sure it will last many years, but am still a little annoyed I didn’t get the features I expected.

I waited 4 weeks to get this delivered. Finally arrived and I’m so disappointed. Because I have bagging system, I cannot close the cart. It interferes with the bracket that holds the two grass bags. The only way for it to work is to make a 4 inch extension to push the cart further away.

Waste of time and money.

Very sturdy swivel dump cart that makes quick work of garden chores. I hook it to our lawn tractor and transport heavy loads of soil, mulch and compost in one trip instead of multiple wheel barrow loads.

I’m sure I’ll find many more uses for it.

I purchase this cart to help replace my old Craftsman 10 Cu. Ft. steel hauling cart that’s about 35 years old. I knew that even if it’s not made of steel it would be helpful to me in my yard use. Once I opened the box and took out the parts it seemed small to me to be the same capacity as my old cart.

When measuring the size it seems to be only about 6. 6 Cu. Ft. capacity with measurements of 10. 5″ deep X 35″ long(average) X 31″ wide = 11,392 Cu. In. I haven’t used it yet and I have no doubt that it will be useful for some choirs but it certainly doesn’t seem to be large enough for some of my former tasks.

I have the Poly Cart for about three weeks now and I’m satisfied with it. However, there are minor issues that can easily be remedied considering its affordable price. Assembly was easy except for the shaft support that came in with a hole smaller than the shaft.

I had to drill it in an offset center to widened the hole. The replacement part came in with the same smaller size hole, which was smaller than the shaft. They need to check the size of the shaft support hole against the shaft before shipment to avoid unnecessary delay and extra work for the customer.

Also, the thickness of the poly tray where the holes are located is the same as the tray. It should have been made thicker than the tray to absorb the extra stress where the bolts are located. The front V-support supporting the poly tray came busted during its first use.

While awaiting for the free replacement tray, I reattached the tray using 4 longer bolts and a 1″x6″x24″ piece of wood placed on the bed of the tray to hold the tray against the front V-support. It worked well, allowing me to finish my work that same day.

I recommend this product but you need to reinforced it with a piece of wood before use. By the way, I am going to cut the poly tray approx 6″ from the back to allow it to completely release the load when unloading dirt or rocks.

Without this modification, you need to shovel the remaining dirt out from the tray to completely empty the tray during unloading. Customer Service was super outstanding.

Price point engineered. This will suit our needs but we will have to do some modifications. BUT, no excuse for the shoddy packing and alleged isolating packing materials which did not hold up to shipping and handling and which allowed pieces to flop all over each other and scratch up paint.

Heavy duty, and heavy box was only sealed with cheap transparent packing tape that was barely holding the box closed by the time I picked up at retailer. Only other major complaint is the poor design of the spring tip mechanism.

Really? a bare, sharp spring end tip seating into a hole in a painted member with no buffer? That area will be scratched and rusting in a very short time. You can do better. Also the bolt depth with-in the body of the poly container on 4 of the 8 bolts that hold the cargo container to the rest of the assembly is way too deep.

I see those popping through after very little use. Not an expensive fix. Again, you can do better. Would have appreciated just one little addition in the printed assembly instructions on the spring seating tool, letting me know it was intended only for assembly.

Just could not figure it out but then I found the assembly videos on your website and even though those were very rushed and I had to rewind and replay several sections of those, I finally realized it was only an assembly tool.

The trailer is great and well built. The wheels are the weak link. The industry standard is 3/4” or lower wheel bearing hubs. This trailer has 1” wheel bearing hubs with 2 spacers over a 3/4” axle. One long spacer would have been fine, but two allow them to move.

The spacers move out from hub support position, the hubs get tweaked, and bearings get thrown, the hubs then dig into the steel axle. I caught this early due to a flat (my fault). You cannot buy those bearing hubs, only new wheels for this tractor on special order, FIX: Buy replacement 16” wheels with 3/4 hubs, save original wheels for parts and discard those 1” spacers.

TSC wheel PR3013-1 or any other common universal replacement with same specs. 3/4” bearing hubs directly onto 3/4” axle is how it always should have been. Stable and smooth now for added expense of two replacement tires/rims.

Extra recommendation, Pull new bearing hubs and hand pack wheel grease (YouTube videos) and I added extra M20 spacer to each side to revolve a little play. Now I have spare tires/tube which I will eventually need and trailer is way it should have been.

I bought mine something like 20 years ago, Been a mighty long time. I was still using it the third time the ambulance couldn’t find me, I never made it back to the farm, least not to work on it. Wife packed us up and moved us to town and I’ve Hated every last second of it.

But, done did deal now. Now, I used this wagon, virtually every day, all day. I’d sit and figure out what the days tasks we were up to and loaded it up and off we’d go. But, I mean, come on folks,This thing isn’t posed to last your lifetime, Just it’s and as with most anything, a little love and care for your tools goes a mighty long way to making them last.

Yes, Metal rusts, a dab of sandpaper a lil elbow grease and a healthy coat of pain and good to go. Course, with that much weight and the bends and swells that thing has while traveling with a load, of course welds are going to break.

Again, That’s what rainy days and just too blooming cold days are for, again, clamp it, sand it, weld it, clean it and spray it. I almost always carried a can of spray paint in it just for those out in the field ooppsies.

Today, FINALLY, My Wife carted me down to buy a mower, YEAAAAA. Now I’m in the market for another one of these babies, cause This city yard needs lots of help. Now, Maybe my old one was made out of tougher stuff, I Hope not, cause that thing was a work horse, Now looking for my second.

The cart is attractive, strong and dumping / swivel action very effective. Used it for the first time yesterday and very pleased. Only disappointment was that the large bracket that supports the bucket was bent when it arrived.

I was still able to install it with a lot of pressure to bend it into shape to meet the bolt holes. I’m hoping there will not be any issues into the further due to twisting pressure that may be transferred to the plastic bucket.

In hind site I probably should have returned it for a replacement.

The cart required some long arms, and preferably 3 hands to assemble but it was pretty straight forward and went together solidly. There is a foot plate that you stomp to release the bed for dumping and the swivel works much easier than I expected.

It is lower and wider than I thought it would be and being lower creates my only gripe. They should have mounted the bed an inch or so higher on the axle so that it can dump completely empty as the tail hits the ground before it is at a steep enough angle to get everything out.

This is only a problem with dirt, but for just general hauling stuff around it works great. It is also light enough to be easily moved around by hand. It seems durable and I would buy it again.

Look no further, this cart is awesome, BUY IT from TSC. I have beat it for the last 3 years and it still looks like new. This thing is tough. You will love the swivel dump feature. If you have an ATV or Garden Tractor, this cart will be a great addition.

As with all John Deere products, I am finding maintenance and repair a giant PITA. For most fixes you can ONLY buy the deere replacement part that is usually at least 2x costlier than an equivalent part.

Right now I am trying to find a replacement wheel, it is $70 for one wheel assembly through john deere!! Equivalent wheel assemblies usually run around $20, but JD builds their products so you can only purchase through them.

There are no other wheels i can find on the market that would fit this trailer. Just do yourself a favor, don’t buy deere equipment, get the agri-fab trailer that you can just fix with parts you can buy at HD.

Bought this today and was sad to discover that this cart is designed very poorly. The swooped design at the rear prevents dumping the load as almost half stays in the cart. You have to shovel the material out.

It makes the job twice as much work. Im debating on cutting the rear out of the box to make it more user friendly but the box is so flimsy it will probably collapse. The tipping latch broke on my first use as well.

I would not recommend buying it and now, as its scratched from use ,I’m stuck with it. Bad purchase decision.

2 flats later I decided to upgrade the tire and rim and went to PA. The tire I bought is the same size but the axel is to short to clip on the clip. I decide to call the dealer and 2 days later their are looking into the USA at the manufacture to get me a tire/rim replacement.

still waiting to hear back. I love the little wagon and use it mostly for moving firewood to the back of the house.
