20 Best Dual Fuel Range 36 Inch (2023 Updated)

We purchased a VERONA VEFSGE365SS in April 2014. We have had one issue after another with this stove: 1) first stove arrived badly damaged (inadequate packaging) – we refused delivery; 2) second stove arrived with minor damage (inadequate packaging) – we accepted a 10% refund and kept the stove; 3) exhaust fan vibration (loud noise) – fan replaced under warranty; 4) new exhaust fan vibration – no optional parts available, kept the fan, service tech fabricated a “buffer” part to resolve the vibration/noise; 5) 2 of 3 iron grates warped and wouldn’t seat without rocking – grates replaced under warranty; 6) stainless steel top was bowed towards the front-center (uneven sautéing) – two new tops ordered under warranty, the first arrived damaged, the second was undamaged but did not resolve the bowing, no optional parts available, kept the top, service tech fabricated a support to level the top; 7) now (2 years old), the 2 gas burners most often used are sticking/won’t ignite – we are out-of-warranty, supplier is covering the service call as a courtesy, because they know us by name now and know the “history” on the stove; 8) for no apparent reason, whatsoever, the black enamel even flaked off the VERONA name plate on the front-bottom of the stove – (sigh.

) we’re just ignoring it. Perhaps VERONA has resolved all the aforementioned issues with (new?) model VEFSGE365NSS? Looks like the exact same stove to us. Just do your research before buying this stove.

It looks great, and the electric oven works very well, but you may end up with the same problems we’ve had. US Appliance forwards you to the supplier for resolution of any problems after purchase – they hold no responsibility for the performance of the stove.

The supplier has been great and has worked hard each time to order parts and set up service calls. There was no point in a same-model replacement stove – the problems are VERONA design flaws – the new stove would have the same flaws.

We are stuck with repair calls.

Range is a fine addition to the kitchen, with classic lines and features. The European design offers many cooking options not available on domestic models. Can’t speak to reliability, but a two year warranty inspires confidence.

All is well so far.

It is beautiful to look at. Stunning addition to our newly renovated kitchen. One HUGE issue/surprise which caused me great unhappiness re the double oven – the larger of the two is NOT the same size as a regular 30 inch single oven – it is SMALLER which meant my pots and pans and oven ware do NOT fit.

My turkey pan, gone, cookie sheets, gone. I was very sad by this and no one told me.

Writing this review in the hopes of saving others some time and headaches. This range is beautiful, but do not be fooled by its beauty. The range itself does what a range should do (cook food). However, there are some major flaws that the buyer should be aware of prior to purchasing.

First, the oven thermostat DOES NOT WORK. It is off by at least 25 degrees. Bertazzoni themselves are aware of this issue, and their solution is to replace it with one that reads High, Low, Medium. If you are wanting a stove that cooks food within a reliable degree range, DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE.

If you want to know if your oven is hot, or really hot – this is the range for you. Second, it blows EXCESSIVE heat throughout your house while in operation. You cannot use the oven in the summer unless you want your house to be heated up an additional 5 degree centigrade.

Would be great to heat your home in the winter if you lack a furnace or if you wish to do hot yoga while dinner is cooking. My biggest issue with the range is Bertazzoni’s attitude (replacing it with a bandaid solution and continuing to sell the product) and also with CAS who continues to carry this product knowing that it has these issues.

I have spent the better part of three months trying to find a solution to this issue. Do yourself a favour, stay far, far away from this brand.

I use this for every day cooking. My biggest criticism is that it is TOO hot and you cannot simmer. I make Italian sauce which needs be covered and to simmer for 2+ hours. It simmers too hot and burns the bottom without constant stirring which is bad for making sauce.

Also, this stainless steel is very soft and cleaning is not as it should be even with a soft damp cloth on the stovetop. As for the over, you cannot put anything on the bottom for dripping. It’s very hard to clean.

I am so very disappointed in this purchase.

A little background on me. I have worked in professional kitchens and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, and my wife grew up cooking with her family all the time, everything always from scratch. We had a decent gas stove, but I always find myself cooking on “high” trying to get pans hot enough, unless I was putting something on simmer or whatever.

But, unless the dish requires finesse, in a restaurant you are generally cooking hot and fast, it gives everything that nice caramelization and greater depth of flavor, but you have to watch what you are coming closer.

Anyways, now that we have the KFX360, we not only have more room to cook, but I now have to actually pay attention to the level of the flame and what I’m cooking, this thing puts out some SERIOUS heat.

The dual rocket burners are fantastic, and the layout of the burner sizes was very well thought out. Compared to my old 4 burner gas stove, the burner sizes are as follows Old – New Small – none Medium – small Large – medium – LARGE – Rocket burners (BOIL NOW) The slide out shelves in the oven and porcelain insides really makes this feel like a $8,000 top of the line oven.

It cooks nice and even, even without the convection fan on. With it, is just icing on the cake, and a joy to use. We really couldn’t be happier with this stove so far. We’ve had it for over a month, as I didn’t want to write a review that was like “looks fantastic, can’t wait to use it”.

That’s not really a “review” in my book. But we’ve used it almost every day, and it’s a delight every time!.

I’ll start off by saying that I am super picky and not easily impressed. I waited to post a review until I had thoroughly used the products. I’ve been using my dual fuel range and vent hood for several months and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase.

I was very hesitant purchasing something online without being able to touch it first. The quality of all the components are excellent. The vent hood is powerful and quiet. the Range is rugged and cleans up easily.

The knobs are heavy and solid and turn smoothly. But the thing I like most about KUCHT is their customer service. It is by far the best experience of any appliance company I’ve ever dealt with. When you call KUCHT you are prompted to press 1 for customer service or 2 for technical support.

Literally within three rings you are speaking to the person you need to talk to. You are NOT transferred from department to department or waiting 30 minutes on hold. When I purchased my dual fuel range I needed the liquid propane model but due to supply chain issues there were none in stock so I purchased the natural gas version and they sent me The LP conversion kit.

When I was replacing the orifices, I dropped one of them into the burner assembly and it fell into the top of the oven cavity. I called technical support and they walked me step-by-step on removing the bullnose and retrieving the part which was not difficult at all.

They told me once I put everything back together they would do a video chat to make sure everything on the range was functioning properly. Wedid a video conference it was an amazing experience. I have called support several times with various general questions and I am amazed at how fast my calls and questions are answered.

I can’t say enough good things about their customer support. I would definitely buy from them again.

The Oven controls are terrible – they are so complicated they render the oven on the verge of being useless. Unless you have a PHD in computer science avoid this oven at all cost. The design of the oven controls is a total fiasco ! The manuals are hopeless , the YouTube guides are useless as overseas they have fixed the issue with simpler controls.

SMEG need to cease sales of this oven until the issue is fixed. Truly a design disaster.

I bought this one month ago and it is a joy to use. It looks fabulous and the functioning of it has gone a long way to restoring my love of cooking. I have a family of 6 and cooking had become a total chore.

This oven heats quickly for a 90cm cooker, has brilliant programmes and perfect, even cooking. Baking, roasting, pizza’s. Love, love, love it.

The cooker is wide and spacious. There burners have the perfect variaty of outputs so you can cook multiple dishes at the same time. The oven heats up super quick and has a precise temp control. However it takes some getting used to with the way controls are set up.

Overall it looks great and does an outstanding job.

This is a nice stove from Italy. After buying it, the functionality was not there. The oven opening was to small for some of my pans and the smaller side oven was not useful at all. Finding pans that would fit was challenging.

Love this range. Larger oven isn’t the size of a regular oven but has been large enough for everything I’ve needed to bake. Cooks wonderfully. Plan to purchase again for next home.

I had very high hopes for this beautiful oven. A friend had the same one with good reviews so we bought one for our new kitchen renovation. The first one wouldn’t hold temperature so they sent me a new one.

The second one had the identical problem so they sent me a new one. The THIRD one now is at least 25° off and burns the things in the back but under cooks the things in the front. Z line has also told me that they will not give me a warranty for this third oven because they only provide a one-year warranty and I am outside of that time frame.

Even though I still don’t have an oven that functions properly. Forget baking in the oven because it is not precise. The range works pretty well except none of the burners have a low enough flame to cook rice without burning it.

Simmering is out. I have connected with a few people locally that also have had a hard time with this oven. It looks pretty and it’s a lot cheaper than some of the other high-end ovens but I would definitely recommend you do NOT buy this machine.

We have received this ZLINE range from Premium Home Source over a month ago. I wanted to hold off with the review until I was able to say that I have used this appliance to its full potential and can honestly review the features it provides.

First of all, this range has a very classic design. It looks great in our new, modern kitchen. It is definitely an upgrade compared to our old range. I could tell from day 1 that the ZLINE cooktop heats up much faster than my old range cooktop.

My dinners take less time cooking which is a huge plus when trying to save time and enjoy beautiful days this summer. Did I mention that the oven is so spacious that you can literally bake/roast few dishes at the same time? Overall, we are very impressed by this product and would recommend it to family and friends.

How I came to selecting this Company and Appliance package is kind of relevant. Our previous Range by a well known manufacturer was considerably more expensive, about the same size and had fancy display.

Great while it lasted. Unfortunately, the microprocessor chip on the controlee panel went bad. Not covered by warranty, replacement board not available, sent off for repair to two different repair facilities both returned unable to acquire the “microprocessor chip”.

To the point now. I do not miss any of the fancy features of previous Ranges, I actually very much appreciate the simplicity of this product. This is by far the best cooking/working Range we have ever had.

Trying to think of an honest negative comment to be objective but drawing a blank, this is a great product.

I have always wanted an high end stove and I finally bought this 30” Viking because it is the only space I had in my two room apartment’s kitchen. Using this Viking it is like driving a BMW X5 after you have driven an Honda Civic so you have to make adjustments to your cooking attitude like one would do with his/her driving.

The stove’s insulation assures that it never gets hot and after baking there is a blower that kick in and cool the inside of the oven. All together this range presents a feeling of solidity. The reason for the four stars instead of five is that there is a problem with the thermostat that seems to shut the oven off or lower the temp when the food is still in and that’s a major issue.

It doesn’t happen all the times but often enough to cause my distrust but service is on the way; sponge cakes that should cook in 55 minutes at 325 degrees took almost two hours, the batter became over raised and the bottom of such loaves undercooked doesn’t matter what.

My wife baked an appetizer with no problem but right afterwards she placed a Cottage Pie in the oven and after half an hour it was barely warm. She turned the oven off and on again and all was good. When it works is for me, a cooking freak and sometimes professional cook a different experience in cooking but when it acts up it is a pain in the butt.

Not only is the matte black finish gorgeous, but I have to give high fives to the designers for giving the interior of the oven the attention it deserves. We were delighted by the blue interior of this stove and never thought that looking into a stove and loving the color would be so important to us, but LG gave us something we didn’t know we wanted.

We’ve put the oven to the test, cooking everything from lasagna and backed potatoes to brownies and cookies. This is the first time I have has a stove that you can set the recommended bake time from the recipe book and the food comes out perfectly done.

No uneven backing food in the front of the oven and food in the back are equal in quality, temperature and visual appearance when they come out. The gas burners turn on with easy and the flame is consistent, cooking food evenly across the pan.

When we decided on this stove, we were not sure about the griddle in the middle, but now I can’t imagine what cooking would be like without it. We use it all the time for eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches, and french toast.

Like the outside burners it cooks evenly and, even better, cleans up easily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ].

I bought the dual fuel 5 series range, with electric oven. The oven never correctly set or help temperature. It took 5 service appointments to get it fixed with two different service companies. Quality was not as expected for a range at this price point.

That said, the gas burners work great. The issue is with customer service, but ultimately Viking did follow through. They just have some questionable 3rd party service providers.

After 6 months of delays and frustratingly waiting, finally received and installed this range. Unfortunately it was too good to be true; only 2 burners lit (others did not emit gas nor did ignition light click) and one of the control panels managed to stay on but not responsive, everything else did not work.

Felt like a kid opening her gift on Xmas day only to find that the toy is broken. For such a high end and expensive appliance you would think they would have some kind of QA process to prevent this from happening.

Now we need a technician to come out or have it replaced if can’t be fixed and will have to wait another 6 months!!! So disappointing!.

We somewhat unexpectedly purchased this range after limited availability of our first pick. When the sales person offered this up, we were skeptical, but after reviewing, touching and feeling – came away confident with our purchase.

It fits beautifully in our contemporary kitchen and we receive unending compliments on it. Because of its distinctive look, it is always followed with a series of questions about who made it and whether we love it (in many ways, we do!).

That said, the oven cooling fan for the ovens is outlandishly loud. Like 64 decibels loud – whiny, droning and stays on for a long time. As a benchmark, it is louder than three of four of our exhaust fan settings (48″ industrial Best brand hood).

We have a large kitchen, and it’ll eat into our conversation. I hoped something was wrong and called a technician, they said it was working as designed, but made a (their words) – “very loud whining noise”.

If you have a smaller kitchen, or this type of thing makes your spine tingle, you should think about a different range. If you rarely use the oven, not much to worry about. Burners are solid, light easily and have plenty of range for a light simmer to boiling a large pot.

The medium ones tend to “jump” a little on the flame as you adjust, so, you need to watch your flame. not a big deal. Griddle has been great, we didn’t think we’d use it as much as we have, but it has become a go-to for weekend breakfast, smash burgers and all kinds of other goodies.

Make sure you have a good hood to clean it properly, hot water (steam) cleans it nicely, but you want all that greasy stuff out of your house. Grease will get into the grate area at the rear of the range.

If you’re a neat freak, you’ll be a bit stuck. My only other nit, specific to those buying for design, is that your brass cooktop finishes will patina in all kinds of interesting ways. We are totally fine with it, grease, food, etc have already made their mark on the brass in a very permanent way.

But, if you’re buying this specifically to have the brass look neat and clean. you shouldn’t plan on cooking on your range. Would I buy it again? Probably not. The fan issue alone is too much for something at this price.

We love our new Monogram range. It has better features than any other range in it’s class. With 22,000 BTU inner/outer ring burners, this range has power you can actually use. Our old stove had a 17,000 BTU burner, but the flame mostly just shot out around the pan on high.

The outer ring on our new Monogram range can be turned off so that only the half dollar sized inner ring is used, which is perfect for small sauce pans. So, effectively our six burner stove really has eight burners that we can choose from! Another great burner feature and reason that we decided on the Monogram was the low simmer ability.

Again, it may be the best out there. Monogram seems to have the competition beat from low to high and that’s why we chose this range. We love the oven’s Warm feature. Set it to warm and press start. I use it to warm plates, keep food warm, and dry the cast iron grates after washing.

I wish that GEs Quality Control would have caught a rolled out razor sharp edge where the stainless cooktop meets the black enameled burner pan. As I was cleaning the burner well, the tip of my finger wiped across the out-turned razor sharp edge causing a deep cut.

The price of the ZGP366NTSS is significantly higher than the previous model. We had ordered the previous model, but due to the pandemic, production ceased on that before we could take delivery. Honestly, I am extremely happy to have the features and upgrades of the new model.

Honestly, I would have been disappointed if we had the previous model. However, the price of the ZGP366NTSS makes the Monogram one of the highest priced pro-style ranges on the market. We chose not to get the dual fuel range because of the cost being significantly higher, but without an electric oven, we had to sacrifice a self-clean feature.

The gas range does have a steam clean feature. We’ll see how effective that is when the time comes to clean it. Overall, I am very happy with the performance and the capabilities of the ZGP366NTSS. We have no regrets so far!.

I agree with all the positive comments, and have no reason to repeat them. But I do want to make some less than positive comments about the Android version of the SmartHq app. The app was clearly designed for an Iphone, and then ported to Android with minimal revisions.

The result is that installation is absurdly difficult. Why? Because literally every instruction asks you to do things that you can’t do on an Android phone. The developers were clearly aware of the issue, since every instruction also tells you that if you can’t do what the instruction asks, you should poke around your phone and find some other way of doing it.

If you’re able to install the app, do the firmware upgrade and you’ll discover that you now have an air fryer mode!! The only available instructions are for GE ranges; a Google search will find them.

But ignore the instruction to not preheat the oven, which makes absolutely no sense. If you actually want to have your food look and taste like it was cooked in an air fryer, ignore the GE instructions.

Get an air fryer basket/pan made for an oven (Amazon has a huge selection), and use the broiler rack. Use a lower temperature and shorter cooking time than you would on an air fryer, and check frequently for possible burning.

I bought this to replace an excellent Kitchenaid commercial style range that was no longer repairable due to its age and lack of parts (probably over 20 years old). My initial appliance and the new replacement are both damaged.

The first one had such a big dent on the side, that stuck out more than one inch, that it could not be installed and slid into the cutout. Then I had to have a 4 prong outlet installed, so the second attempt to install was a fail, and the electrician had to come.

Now, on the third attempt, the bracket the holds the oven racks in on the side of the oven came unwelded and are loose. Thus, it cannot hold the bottom oven rack. The back of the oven is completely flat rather than recessed, and my gas valve doesn’t allow it to slide in fully.

it’s rather deep and sticks out pretty far, so be warned if you have an older house with shallow counters. I have noticed how it sticks out in some of the review images. Now I need to call the gas guy and GE to see if this is salvageable.

I tried cooking with it for the first time tonight. the burners are awesome! I love the cooktop design and high power, great for getting the water boiling. The oven seems a little poorer quality than my previous kitchenaid, design flaw with these rack brackets, also smaller than the kitchenaid, gets very hot on the side walls, so not as well insulated perhaps as the Kitchenaid.

Seems to cook the food nicely and fast! Reheated some meatballs and made lava cakes and both were cooked effectively and efficiently. I am looking forward to trying the smart features and air fry option.

The controls are intuitive and sleek, and it is very easy to use. We will see what happens with customer service tomorrow.

So we waited almost 8 months for this range to arrive. We were very excited to finally receive it. Once it was in the garage our gas technican was converting it to LP when we discovered several surprising and concerning issues.

First, once we removed the back access cover to start the LP conversion we discovered only one gas regulator. The conversion instructions indicated there were “two”. I reached out to GE and their engineers responded that there is only one regulator on the 36″ model and they would update the instruction manual.

Second, while we had the back access panel off we discovered over half of the 1/4″ drive screws that basically hold this unit together were half way driven in. Many that supported the gas lines on the back of the unit were barely even threaded in.

We spent a good hour going over the unit and tightening the loose screws. Several even fell out of the bottom of the unit when we moved it off the pallet. Third, when the gas tech went to install the gas line the shut off valve under the unit fell off in his hand.

It was missing the retaining screw entirely. GREAT JOB GE for a gas line!!! Fourth, the instruction manual indicated to lift the back of the unit off the pallet and remove the toe kick piece from its shipping location prior to moving the unit off the pallet.

To our surprise, there was no toe kick present on the pallet. Upon asking GE about this they indicated that no toe kick is shipped with this unit. So we pay, $7,000 for a high end range and you can’t include a toe kick, but you can print it in the instructions.

So we had to shell out $157 for a matching toe kick. We outfitted our entire kitchen with GE Cafe products. All the other units have arrived fine, except for this one. The quality of this product and the quality control of the manufacturing process ranks up there with some cheap unit you would purchase at Wal Mart or a second hand appliance store.

I would not and will not recommend this unit to anyone.

After a long wait (understandably with the new “covid” times) we were excited to get the 36” range. Then I had to convert to LP. No problem – a few orifice changes and a flip of the regulators (so I thought).

Following the instruction to a “T” I spent my first first 5 minutes flipping the cooktop regulator and then the entire rest of the day looking for the oven regulator. Come to find out, the instruction diagram is for the 48” range and there is only one regulator on the 36”.

Very frustrating – With how expensive these are, is it so hard to create a separate manual for each model??? On day 2 of the conversion, I had ease with most of the orifices, however the threading on the one burner was messed up so I had to go out and buy more tools to thread tap it clean.

Then finally on my last orifice, I find that it is over tightened and when I went to use the 7mm wrench as instructed, it instantly stripped the soft brass orifice so bad that now I’m stuck trying to find a way to jerry-rig it off without damaging any of the burner.

If it weren’t for the long wait on products right now due to Covid and the hole it burned in my pocket, I’d have thrown this thing in the river in my back yard. I am determined to get this last orifice off so that the conversion can be complete, and my wife and I can finally use it, but if your factory doesn’t put attention to detail around the installation of the orifices then you should start selling some from the factory that are already LP ready.

Love this range. Incredibly precise control and tons of features. I would have liked a gas stove, but my kitchen has no gas hookup, and installing one would have run close to two thousand dollars. But now that I’ve owned this range for a few weeks, I honestly can’t imagine ever going to gas again.

The incredible responsiveness and exact control of the hobs is every bit as precise as a gas burner, without all the wasted energy. For those not familiar with induction, the burners (hobs) don’t get hot.

They generate an electromagnetic field that turns your pots and pans into the actual heating element. The result is that your pans heat up a lot faster and no heat is lost in the transfer from hob to pan, again because the hobs don’t generate heat.

Another benefit is that once you remove a pan from the range, the hob cools down very quickly since it contains no burner. The power boost feature is also incredible, making it possible to bring a full tea kettle to a boil in under two minutes.

And the pizza oven mode is terrific, providing fast high heat to give you a quickly toasted pizza crust without drying out the middle or making it too chewy. A godsend to anyone who dreams of making a neopolitan crust pizza in their own home.

Honestly, the instruction book is filled with functions and I haven’t even scratched the surface of what this can do. Also, one big surprise was how much more beautiful and well-made this range looks in person.

The knobs are milled from solid stainless and there are halos of light around each one that change colors depending on the temperature. The fit and finish are excellent. Even the sides are polished to a mirror finish.

Too bad no one will ever see them once it’s installed in your cabinets.

We needed to replace a 20-year-old dual fuel range with attached downdraft (located on island in open floor plan) and our options were extremely limited and complicated – we had to hire installation specialists for the FP Range and the separate downdraft (both purchased at Pacific Sales in Torrance CA).

Well, after numerous delivery dates and cancellations, we finally received our range and downdraft around February 2021 and I can not be happier with our decision! This range is beautiful, it fits in our island (shallow depth), and it’s a joy to use! I’ve used most of the functions (including Roast, Pizza, Aero Broil, True Aero, Self-Clean and more) and found the dials very intuitive if that makes sense.

The oven heats up fast! The warming drawer is a bonus – my first one and I use it often. The gliding racks, another first for me, also make getting dishes in and out of the oven easy. There is also a clock and timer, which I discovered is not an automatic feature for some brands, but was essential for me.

The gas cooktop burners are powerful and can be set to a very low flame, though at times I do miss the intermittent burners on my previous range (but I’m not taking off a star hah!). The continuous grates are very heavy/substantial and easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher (which I haven’t tried yet).

I clean the stainless steel usually with a damp microfiber cloth and a little bit of dishwashing soap, sometimes with a non-scratch sponge, and my husband uses stainless steel cleaner once in a while lol.

We haven’t owned it long enough to know how the stainless will hold up over time. To sum up, this is my first Fisher & Paykel appliance that I chose because of its shallow depth and beautiful design.

I soon found out it’s an easy-to-use hardworking range and I’m very happy with it! It has exceeded my expectations!.

The Fisher & Paykel is the king of all stoves! I am absolutely impressed by the way it operates. I’ve owned several other brands, but this beats them all. It has a Pastry bake mode. I made turnovers for a quick desert.

These turned out looking like ones bought in a professional bakery. The oven heats evenly. When bringing water to a boil for pasta, you can’t find a better stovetop. The water comes to a boil in less than 5 minutes.

Many people think their cookware will not work with induction stovetops, but if your cookware is stainless steel or enamel cast iron, then you have what can be used. Just stick a magnet to the bottom of your pan, if it sticks, it works.

The only complaint I have is that the timer alarm is very faint and useless. I just set a timer with one of our smart speakers or my watch.

Looks good but for spending nearly $20k I expect perfect quality and customer support. Took 9 months to get “a” range then it was broken. Original range purchase was July 2021, then a series of delays and multiple exchanges, finally got the broken one in May, the replacement range arrived in June.

That one was fine. The range came with a crooked door, then they sent a service rep who said it had to be replaced. Viking provided a credit for an exchange to Best Buy but they put it all back on the customer to ensure it gets exchanged then Best Buy threatens you that if you don’t exchange it in 30 days you won’t be able to exchange it at all.

for spending nearly $20k on a single appliance this should not be how a customer is treated. Performance wise, it takes longer to cook things in the oven than our previous GE. Roller bearing oven racks are nice.

Range top is pretty solid, lots of flame potential but also can reduce it very low. The spill protection is a nice feature as well as having the burners elevated. A timer would be a nice feature to add to this, it is pretty simple, on or off for the oven.

Backlighting on the knobs are also a great feature. To install against a wall you need to have the heat shield, $600 for the short one, $1200 for the tall one with a shelf, short one worked very good but Best Buy could not get it for some reason.

My sales person at the Best Buy store was extremely good and helpful, its the overall experience with Best Buy customer service and Vikings quality issues and lack of availability of the product that soured me on this particular range.

Great Stove. A real reliable cooking machine. When delivered there were 2 problems. The front right and left burners would now ignite properly. A technician that Best Buy sent discovered that the igniters were not assembled properly at the factory.

The racks in the oven are on roller bearings! Makes moving the racks so easy.

So far so good but when we received it the oven did not work. We asked for a new one but the delivery would be minimum 45 months due to the supply chain situation. We waited almost 4 weeks for a repairman to come out but he easily fixed it and adjusted our burners and explained that the height of the range was incorrect.

The stovetop is great but not enough experience with the oven to give a review for that. It does take a long time to heat up. A really long time.
