IšverstiShow in original languageDepending on your taste preference, this is more of a rib rub instead of all pork. If you have used the P&P (green) seasoning that Traeger has, it is much sweeter than the Perfect Pork rub.
Even though the Perfect pork rub has brown sugar, you almost can’t taste the sugar. If you want something a little more spice and bold than perfect pork is perfect. If you like the sweetness then stay with Pork and Poultry.
IšverstiShow in original languageMy family loves everything from tenderloin to pork butt. This rub is perfect for any application will continue to purchase.
OFF THE CHARTS. I love it when you call me Pig Poppa. Filled with sweet brown sugar and tongue-tinglin’ peppers, this blend will hypnotize your taste buds. For any dish from biggie to small, this pig will be music to your mouth.
This is a really good basic rub on all meats or salads. I will add ingredients as needed depending on the foods prepped. Coriander? Celery seed? Rosemary?…..you get the gist of it.
Used this for pulled pork, it came out great. On smaller cuts of meat I think it’s got too much heat to be a crowd pleaser, but fine if you don’t mind some spice. Haven’t tried it yet, but I suspect it’ll be awesome on wings.
I found it to be a great rub for more than just pulled pork. Especially chicken. Consider it as a rub for anything where you want that great BBQ taste.

Bought the Jack Daniel’s #7 Dry Rub for my baby back ribs. I had a gathering at my home of 10 people. Grilled the baby backs slathered with copious amounts of the JD #7 , 2. 5 hours on the grill and they were tasty and falling off the bones.
Finished with my homemade sweet bbq sauce and needless to say the rub was the key to lightly spicy ribs. Everyone at the party wanted the recipe for the ribs. Jack Daniel’s #7 I told everyone , that was the magic.
Great price and super fast shipping too. Thanks Farm Fleet !!.
One of the best steak seasoning I have ever used. I’ve received so many compliments when I used this seasoning. Going to be buy this seasoning when I run out!

Love this seasoning. We use it on our NY Strips. It is are only “go-to” seasoning. Unfortunately Walmart is hit and miss on inventory so we typically buy several at a time when they do have it in stock.
Perfectly seasoned steaks every time. I grill steaks about once a week. I have tried many different steak rubs and this one is BY FAR my favorite. The spices do not overpower the meat, but compliment it perfectly.
I love this spice so much that I even use it to compliment my potatoes sometimes. so yummy – fried in butter with sour cream on the side. Getting hungry just thinking about it! :).
I saw a Honey sriracha sloppy joe recipe on you-tube and decided to give it a try. i like spicy foods and this recipe was really good and fun to make. the sriracha rub really kicked it up a notch!!
Season your favorite meat with the Blues Hog Dry Rub Seasoning for a layer of flavor. This gluten-free spice rub is made of natural ingredients for an authentic taste. It is perfect for poultry, pork, and beef or for sprinkling on vegetables.
Blues Hog Blues Hog was born from the creative mind of Bill Arnold, a tool and die engineer by trade, but a chef by passion. What began as a small kitchen operation for fun soon turned into an award-winning recipe.
In 2001, Bill entered the American Royal International BBQ Competition (dubbed the World Series of Barbecue) and stole the show. Blues Hog BBQ Sauce has won more national and international barbecue awards than any other commercial barbecue sauce on the market.
Not as great as the “Blues Hog” hype made it out to be. Smells better than the flavor it imparts; doesn’t leave much of a flavor layer on the meat. Great color after smoking, but there’s just not much taste.
Disappointed. I’ll might use it as a light second layer over some Memphis Dust or Honey Hog, just for the rich color, but don’t rely on this to knock anyone’s socks off on it’s own.
I’ve use this for years after we couldn’t use rubs with MSG for health issues. This is great on ribs! We use on butts too, with mustard. Zippy but not heat. Good on chicken too. Haven’t purchased from tgis sight but a great product.
Hog Waller Pork and Rib Rub is a delicious blend of spices made specifically as a rub for pork ribs. Just rub around in a little Hog Waller to savor tender, juicy pork ribs! Rub Hog Waller on pork butt, country style ribs, pork loins and chops.
My wife really likes it on ribs. Slow smoked at 212 for 3 hours. Then remove and put in foil with more Sugar Daddy. Add honey and brown sugar. Wrap them up with apple juice. Back in the smoker for 1 1/2 hours.
This one is a game changer. My new favourite. You can throw on a thick layer and doesn’t have that over salted taste that some of the lower quality rubs have. The flavour of the bark blew me away. Only complaint is that we can’t get it in the larger quantities that are advertised on the sucklebuster website.

I have never tried any of Cabela’s spices before and saw the steak rub and for only about $4. 00 had nothing to lose. Got it home and opened it and the smell was incredible and I was allready salivating.
Cooked up two New York Strips on my BBQ grill in the backyard and rubbed this on both steaks. If the smell of the spice was any indicator, I surely anticipated a great tasting steak! Added some more to both steaks as I grilled them and turned them and let it cook into the meat.
When my wife and I sat down to enjoy them, we were not disapointed. Incredible flavor, very tasty and in my opinion did not override the flavor of the steak but surely added to it. I will be using this for years to come and will be taking it on our next camping trip as well.
Tried it on chicken using my smoker flavor was good but way to salty i couldn’t even finish a chicken breast. I do realize that rubs are salty as a rule but this rub must be 90% seasoned salt. Wasted a bunch af chicken.

First time buying and using it and it delivered! Great taste with a little spice in it but not overwhelming by any means. I applied and rubbed in 3 layers before putting on the smoker and it was the right amount.
Also not, it’s not overly salty just a good balance.
I bought this in anticipation of getting the series 7 vertical. I you want flavor packed pulled pork, I highly suggest giving this a try. my family and several co-workers are extremely impressed with it.

I’m rating this way because I used this product when it first came out. It was wonderful. This is a completely different recipe. Does not taste the same at all. Red in color not blackish grey. Nothing to indicate it had changed.

I got this as a gift from a client one time. I used it every time i made pork chops and the flavor was amazing. It must have something that tenderizes and adds moisture because I’ve bought other seasonings that cant compare.
I just can never find it at my local grocery store 😞.
I love all the rub with love products! They are delicious and made without any harsh preservatives or MSG. This one in particular is awesome on pork roast. I prefer it in the crock pot but works in the oven too!.
I love it when you call me Pig Poppa. Filled with sweet brown sugar and tongue-tinglin’ peppers, this blend will hypnotize your taste buds. For any dish from biggie to small, this pig will be music to your mouth.
Pro tip: Slather your pork shoulder or butt in a layer of mustard or hot sauce. This will help the rub stick to the meat, building a better bark and retaining moisture. We first learn of Rub Some Butt Carolina BBQ Seasoning a few years back at a craft fair. Love this stuff for our pulled pork slow cooked on the BBQ. Slather the port butt with French’s Yellow Mustard and season with Rub Some Butt all over well and sprinkle with Apple Cider Vinegar a few times while cooking.

This is a fantastic BBQ rub. It has sweetness with a little bit of heat, a very nice balanced flavor. Amazing on ribs and chicken for smoking. It is best paired with a very light dusting of a salty compound applied first such as Killer Hogs AP Rub or Goya Adobo.
When the moisture starts to come up then apply a generous coating of The Rub. Sprits now and then while smoking with Coca Cola and be ready for absolute perfection. I have used this product a lot and was buying it from Malcolm Reeds site.
This is a delicious rub. My family really enjoyed. I allowed the rub to set over night in the fridge on some ribs and some tips. This was my first time using it. I went back to the store and bought two more bottles.
The taste reminded us when we were younger and our uncle used to cook the best ribs in town.
I was sceptical about the flavour these simple spices would bring out. I did Ribeyes 2” thick on the baby Webber q. I hit them with the AP seasoning 8 hours before I cooked them. Placed them back in the refrigerator until 1 hour before cooking time.
Awesome flavour! I also put AP seasoning on baked potatoes right on top of the sour cream and cheese. Kids loved them. I will always have this seasoning on hand from now on.

My family and I have loved this product since my wife bought me a sample pack for Father’s Day two years ago. I think the versatility of the product is the best part. We love it on pork steaks, but I’ve used it on eggs, chicken, and beef and it always makes everything taste better.
As a veteran, I’m always looking to support veteran owned businesses and will continue to support Grill Your *** Off!.
I used this on slow smoked ribs the day after arrival. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because when I opened the sealed container it seemed like it had been compromised with some humidity.
All my other items I have purchsed over time sifted out nice and light, this was kinda chunky and required some break down manipulation. The end result was great ribs from a great rub. All the products I have used from here are top notch.
This stuff is awesome. Grilled port cutlets first time out using the Infidel rub. Easily made them the best pork cutlets we ever ate. Added amazing flavor. Kept cutlets moist. Added some great coloring to the chops when they came off the grill.
Get yourself some of this magic powder, you won’t be disappointed.

Used the Perfect Pork Rub on a rack of Berkshire St. Louis Ribs in my Recteq pellet smoker. These were by far the best tasting ribs I have ever smoked. The flavor was so incredibly good I didn’t even use BBQ sauce with them.
I just wish SRF offered this rub in a larger size.
I bought the 2. 5 boneless pork roast for Christmas dinner and it was the perfect size for 4 people So much flavor !!! I would highly recommend I high flashed cooked it on 425 for 25 minutes and then 40 minutes at 300 degrees – it was perfect.
When it comes to pulled pork, there are a lot of different ways to prepare it. However, one of the most important things you need to do is to make sure that the pork is properly seasoned. This is where a dry rub comes in.
A dry rub is a mixture of spices that are rubbed into the meat before cooking. This not only adds flavor, but also helps to tenderize the meat. The key to a good dry rub is to find the right balance of spices.
You don’t want it to be too spicy, but you also don’t want it to be bland.
When it comes to pulled pork, there are a few different types of dry rubs that you can use. However, the most popular one is the Memphis style dry rub. This is a blend of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and black pepper.
Another popular dry rub is the Kansas City style. This is a bit sweeter than the Memphis style, and it contains brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, and garlic powder.
Whichever dry rub you choose, make sure to rub it into the meat well, cover it, and let it sit for at least an hour before cooking. This will help the flavors to really penetrate the meat.
