20 Best Drink To Mix With Miralax (2023 Updated)

I have had constipation all my life (71yo) and was started on Miralax by my doctor. It’s pricey so I have tried other products such as the Member Mark Brand, (don’t waste your money even tho the pharmacy said it was the same as Miralax.

) Senokot-S, Probiotics, Stool softener. I alway have to come back to MiraLax. If you are severely constipation, you may have to take it twice a day or two capsule instead of one. MiraLax mixes well in coffee and has no taste.

I found I can not use Milk products in my coffee because it tends to curdle. I don’t find this problem with creamer. I usually back off for a day if the stools become too soft. You should aways call your doctor if you are having severe stomach pains, nausea or vomiting, unable to pass gas or have a BM.

I know that people get tired of hearing that phrase, but it is the truth. I suffer with frequent constipation and I don’t like taking regular laxatives because they cause such sudden and severe cramping.

I decided to give Miralax a try. It is really easy to use because all you have to do is mix a capful of it into the liquid of your choice. The powder is absolutely tasteless. I prefer to mix it into my orange juice.

Miralax does not make you go to the bathroom right away, so you will not have the sudden urge to run to the toilet. It will help to soften things up and you will be able to go more frequently. This helps me immensely and I always make sure that I don’t run out of it.

It is a must-have for me!.

This is not my first experience with Miralax. My daughter has struggled with constipation issues on and off since she was little, and her doctors have always advised me to give her Miralax when she was struggling badly with constipation.

Most recently due to a severe bout of constipation my daughters doctors advised me to have my daughter do a full cleanse with miralax, and after doing that, she has to be on the miralax daily for severalweeks, so when i saw these pre-measured single dose packets, i knew they would be the way to go.

They take the headache out of having to measure out the dose, and i just pour a single packet in some juice or water thats in a bottle, give it a good shake, and the miralax dissolves super easily. It is tasteless, so my daughter drinks it right up without any issues.

The best thing about Miralax in my opinion is that it doesnt cause any stomach cramping, or the sudden urge to go. Miralax works slowly over the course of one to three days usually before producing a bowel movement, and is extremely gentle on the stomach.

In my experience I can honestly say that Miralax is an excellent product and very effective.

Miralax really helps get things moving. I have struggled with being constipated for most of my life. I usually take two OTC stool softeners at bedtime. The next morning, I drink a cup of coffee and the urge will usually hit me to go to the bathroom about 30 minutes to an hour after my coffee.

I use my Squatty Potty to put my feet up. This creates a gentle pressure that helps move things along. But sometimes when this isn’t enough, I add Miralax in, and it works! :).

This stuff is so much better. Anyway, it works. Though I am not sure if I am a fan of these packets or a full bottle, not sure which one is better for the money, but these are easier for me to use since I drink one a day at work in my coffee.

So I just open the packet and put it in and then use my coffee creamer and the usual as I desire. Much safer than the other laxatives. This allows me to go once a day, with the cramps and pain associated with other laxatives.

Also it’s very easy to travel with.

Travel can result in changes of routine, not drinking enough water, changes in times zones etc. and so carrying individual packets of laxatives can prevent the very uncomfortable constipation that can result.

Carrying a bottle of laxative is inconvenient and results in delays and chemical tests being performed going through TSA on flights. These packets are therefore great for air travel since they are sealed and fit more easily into luggage than a bottle.

Its works! I couldnt move my bowels every day but now I do using Kirkland laxaclear once a day. Sometimes I go 2x a day but overall its a good product. No smell no taste just mix 1 dose with 8 ozs of your favorite drink water juice coffee or a smoothie and your good to go.

I was having a procedure done that required taking the prescribed prep. It also suggested a strong laxative. I talked to my CVS pharmacist ( I love them !) and I compared CVS brand plus my discount ( rewards club) to the name brand product.

Every ingredient was the same. I bought the CVS brand and saved $7. I always save and get quality advice and service from my local CVS.

Excellent Product. IT is the same as Miralax but at a greatly reduced price. I have to take it everyday because I suffer from I. B. S. ,so the reduced price is a Blessing –especially since it is exactly the same as Miralax.

Ok let’s be real, no one wants to be writing a review for laxatives but I am SO THANKFUL I had these! I recently had surgery and was on narcotic pain killers which lead to very severe constipation. After my last surgery I was taking stool softener and it wasn’t quite working, which led to some very painful bathroom episodes.

The surgeon I am seeing now recommended MiraLax, except dang have you seen how expensive that is?! I am not made of MiraLax money! So instead I bought this Equate ClearLax and it was AMAZING! It is a white powder that you mix into water or a beverage, but It is completely flavorless, so don’t worry there is no gross medicine taste.

I have mixed it into water, ice tea, soda, and it doesn’t matter it works very easily with all of them. For me and the amount of painkillers I was taking I needed to use this twice a day, but when I did it works perfectly.

In the past i have tried stool softener and my stool was still too hard which led to some very painful episodes. I have also tried active laxitives which work great, but almost TOO well because then things can get a little too gross and liquidy.

ClearLax led to poop that was more or less normal!!! I feel like Goldilocks and ClearLax is the one that isn’t too hard or too soft, it is just right! Highly recommend!!.

This product works. My wife struggles with constipation. This works without bloating or gastric pain. Mixed with water it dissolves completely. After 2-3 minutes the water is clear and drinks just like regular water.

It isn’t gritty or thick. It really works.

I buy generic of so much and was delighted to find a cheaper version of this but this seems much harsher than name brand. I cant think why. The first time I used my usual dose and had awful stomach cramps and it cleaned me out.

I took around 4 pm right after I got off work (2 of the tiny pieces). throughout the night I would pass gas which was a relief but didn’t have the urge to poop. Fell asleep then around 3 am my stomach got ready to rumble.

I bought this today and thought it would help with my minor constipation. I take one and go home then look it up. I see all the people saying causes bad cramps so I just threw it up and 6 hours later I can feel it in my intestines.

Wanted to clean the house but now my stomach is uncomfortable. I pooped a lil bit out not much though.

This stuff works great both me and my husband take it daily and it helps us to go to the bathroom a lot. We both suffer with being backed up and have tried many products to try and help with that and this has been the one that most worked the best for us.

Same active ingredients as name brand. Stirs well in desired liquid without becoming thick. It is essentially tasteless and works wonders for constipation related to pain medication after surgery. No cramping.

We often use it in larger doses for bowel preps if someone is having a surgical procedure.
