Dehydration after vomiting can be treated by drinking clear fluids like water or an electrolyte solution. It is important to drink slowly and in small amounts to avoid further vomiting. If you are unable to keep fluids down, you may need to be hospitalized for intravenous fluids.
PATENTED, DOCTOR-CREATED FORMULA – Born on a relief mission, DripDrop ORS was created by a doctor and formulated with a patented mix of electrolytes & glucose to deliver fast dehydration relief. Also contains potassium, magnesium, zinc, and Vitamin C for maximum immunity boosting benefit.
ORS ELECTROLYTE POWDER – DripDrop is an ORS, a medically-recognized, optimal way to treat the signs of dehydration. As an ORS, DripDrop provides faster dehydration relief than sports and pediatric drinks, and it’s 99% less expensive than an IV.
3X THE ELECTROLYTES & ½ THE SUGAR OF SPORTS DRINKS – Formulated to address the signs of dehydration relief fast without the sugar and stickiness of traditional sports drinks. Precise ratio of electrolytes and glucose activates the body’s sodium-glucose co-transport system.
GREAT FOR SIGNS OF DEHYDRATION CAUSED BY WORKOUT, TRAVEL & HEAT EXHAUSTION – Stay hydrated and recover faster from dehydration with the formula meticulously crafted for fast absorption. Dehydration may result from workout, travel, heat exhaustion, and when feeling under the weather.
TASTES GREAT – DripDrop ORS’s 8 flavors taste fantastic and offer dehydration relief fast. DripDrop ORS is an electrolyte powder that provides dehydration relief fast. DripDrop ORS was developed by a doctor on a mission trip to save lives from dehydration.
His formula was so revolutionary that he earned patents in the US, Japan, and South Africa. DripDrop ORS has 3x the electrolytes and half the sugar of typical sports drinks. The medical-grade formula includes electrolytes, glucose, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and Vitamin C for maximum immune boosting benefit.
The precise ratio of electrolytes and glucose activates the body’s sodium-glucose co-transport system, getting your body what it needs to experience dehydration relief fast. DripDrop ORS is great to address the signs of dehydration caused by exercise, heat, diuretics, vomiting, diarrhea, cold weather, altitude, and travel.
DripDrop ORS users include top hospitals and physicians, elite athletes, U. S. Armed Forces, humanitarian workers, pharmacists, and patients who experience persistent dehydration. DripDrop ORS comes in both cold and hot flavors.
Before I started drinking DripDrop, I was hospitalized twice to get intravenous fluids for acute kidney injuries due to severe dehydration caused by an over-active ostomy (equivalent to severe diarrhea) before I finally got to see a doctor at Emory University’s Short Bowel Syndrome Clinic, and he told me to drink DripDrop only (no other beverages or liquids of any kind).
It’s been an amazing change. With Drip Drop, I am able to stay hydrated enough to avoid kidney injury, so I haven’t needed intravenous fluids despite my still much-more-active-than-ideal ostomy. (I’m also following the University of Virginia’s Short Bowel Diet, as prescribed by my Emory doctor.
) And, unlike other oral rehydration solutions I’d been told to drink by other doctors, DripDrop doesn’t make me gag! I enjoy drinking DripDrop because it tastes good! I suppose that if I could drink regular beverages I might find that DripDrop’s flavors would suffer in comparison, but DripDrop is definitely the best tasting medical drink I’ve ever had! The least expensive way I found to buy DripDrop is by subscription from DripDrop.
com because you get free shipping and 25% off, and the subscription cancellation/change policy is so flexible that it doesn’t make financial sense to me to buy it any other way. I recommend starting with one each of the three different variety packs to find out which flavors you like best (and then, if you have preferences, just get your favorite flavors).
My favorite DripDrop flavors are Cherry (cold), Spiced Apple Cider (hot), Hibiscus (hot), and Honey Lemon Ginger (hot).
I’m in a ‘worse’ patch of a still undiagnosed stomach/GI issue that doesn’t allow me to eat or drink without nausea and then vomiting 50% of the time for weeks. So I avoid eating and drinking for 10 hours at work because I can’t gamble with my employment.
Low-blood sugar and chronic dehydration then cause weakness, dizziness, headaches, shakiness, mood swings, memory issues, and exhaustion. I need EVERY DROP of water and food I manage to consume to be the most effective it can be for it’s volume to keep me scraping-by-level functional and hopefully less miserable while I wait for even more testing.
I notice a MASSIVE difference in how I feel when I put two drip drops in a big bottle of water and try to finish it by the end of the day versus water only. I also know I drink more partly because it’s more appealing than just water sometimes since I only really eat and drink in the evening on work days.
I miss food and yummy flavors. It’s nice to have flavor just for fun again. Flavors: I’ve tried watermelon, berry, orange, lemon, and strawberry lemonade. I know taste is subjective as hell, but hopefully this is still helpful.
I can’t wait to try the pineapple coconut. [Dripdrop- Please make an Arnold Palmer or iced tea, or better yet Peach iced tea! I would drink peach tea all day, if I could. ] Strength of flavor from strongest to mildest: orange, berry, watermelon, lemon, strawberry lemonade.
Sweetness from sweetest to hint of tartness: watermelon, berry, orange, strawberry lemonade, lemon. Even the sweetest of these is like half as sweet to me as Pedialyte, for reference, so it’s still pleasant and not like drinking synthetic candy versions of what someone imagines fruit to taste like having only heard a description.
Sorry, I really hated bottled Pedialyte. Watermelon: easy to drink, refreshing, and my favorite. Tastes better cold, seems a little too sweet for me at room temp but that’s a nit-pick. Better as a beverage solo than with food since it does have more flavor.
Watermelony pink color. Strawberry Lemonade: a step less sweet and less strong of a flavor than watermelon, but still a light sweetish flavor that is nice with snackfood or alone. Half as sweet or less than Pedialyte’s strawberry lemonade powder, which is the least sweet of their product that I’ve tried.
2nd favorite. Subtle pale pink. Berry: I gave my dad the same flavors and he prefers berry. It’s similar stregth and sweetness to watermelon. Pinky purple. Orange: too strong for me personally, I have to add a lot if extra water and that’s not always an option for me.
It’s not bad though, it’s just not to my taste. Orange flavor with a capital ‘O’ – it’s yummy but not subtle. This would be the one for someone weaning themselves off orange Gatorade, or who likes Gatorade but wants something more hydrating and less sugary.
Lemon: this is the one for you if you don’t really like sweet beverages! It doesn’t taste exactly like fresh lemon in water but it is more to that side than to the cloying sweetness of things like Pedialyte, powder Gatorade, and Propel.
I was expecting a sugary lemon since this category of product is universally very sweet, but this is an exception which is perfect for the person who never bothered trying drinks like this because of that.
This one looks just a bit white/cloudy to me. The most subtle color by far of those I’ve tried if you’re trying to not call attention to a bright orange or pink beverage at the office or church or something (haha, I don’t even know where people go anymore.
) Since I work on the same 1L bottle of water all day, I like to mix 2 flavors. My favorite combo is Watermelon & Strawberry Lemonade, and Berry & Lemon is good too. If you’re on the fence, the mix pack is nice.
I’m using up the ones I like just a bit less to mix. I think strawberry lemonade is the most crowd-pleasing so far since it’s more balanced sweetness and more subtle flavor. I realize I look bonkers for writing this much, but I know this product has been one of the things getting me through the past couple months.
I lost 10% of my body weight in 5 weeks despite my very best efforts. 5 weeks on 600 calories & 1\2 liters of water and vomiting every other day? Yeah, I think I was flirting with dangerous dehydration.
I definitely feel a very big difference- I ran out and just wrapped up a week of none and it’s been kinda miserable again. Things are still rough overall, but I’m not being without dripdrop again and am completely finished looking for and trying different brands (I tried MANY.
) The cherry on top: I really appreciate this company’s commitment to giving back. 25% off for subscribers is generous. Their charity work to help people without access to IV fluids is awesome. I feel better about spending money for myself because I know it’s helping someone else facing how debilitating dehydration can be.
I have it easy in the scheme of things and I like contributing to someone else not as lucky, even in a small way.
Warning…Long post 🤗. I got DripDrop for my husband, who would drink caffeine free regular Coke anytime of the day/night. He tried a few flavors but said they were too sweet! So I started using them. I’m a school custodian.
My iPhone tracks my steps of 6+ miles daily! I drink one on my 30minute drive home. I can definitely tell the difference-my body fatigue level is so much better. I’ve started drinking one during the day too.
I’ve given some to my coworkers too. One of them goes on motorcycle rides often and told me that he could tell that it helped with the midday fatigue he’d get. Another coworker told me that her husband’s Dr told him to drink DripDrop when he was diagnosed with covid.
I gave some to a coworker who was fasting and having a hard time. I gave a multi flavor bag to my son, who had covid. Now his whole family is drinking it at their house. When they visit, my 4 Grandkids will come in from playing and pick a flavor.
It does my heart good to see that they’re not drinking the sugary/chemically designed drinks. The sticks make it so convenient to take it with you or keep a few in your purse or vehicle. I keep a bag in my work closet! Now, back to my husband!…he has since found a flavor that he enjoys.
First it was Fruit Punch. He’s loving the Passion Fruit now. I mix his in 8oz of water and then add ice and it’s been his go to for meals, instead of the cokes, or when he’s mowing the yard. I’m so thankful that he’s ‘found his flavor’! You know, it’s like trusting Jesus Christ as your Savior—when you have a wonderful thing, you want to share it! Thank you ❣️.

Hydralyte absolutely helps my family feel better faster. Whenever someone in my family gets sick, I make them drink Hydralyte. The liquid is nice because it’s ready to go and I keep in the fridge (it tastes much better if it’s cold).
I also like that it lasts for 30 days after opening because sicknesses in our house stretch overtime between each person.
Found myself dehydrated & was struggling to get well. Took a couple of attempts to handle taste, but now have no issues at all with drinking it. Really sped up the process & have no hesitation in using this product when I start feeling dehydrated.
Its clean, real and effective hydration for all the ways you love to sweat. No artificials or weird chemical blends. Every drink is certified USDA organic, non-GMO project verified, paleo friendly, gluten free and vegan.

Absolutely delicious. Great afternoon dose of vitamins, really looking forward to using over the hotter months, and trying other flavors. Product could have more potassium and magnesium; if vigorously sweating will need more than 6 & 10% (respectively) to replenish sources and prevent muscle cramping.
I like the addition of taurine and coconut powder. Would like to see a version with zero sugar/dextrose and higher electrolyte doses.
This product used to be great and then they had to go and change it. The flavor is worse, it’s practically hydrophobic it just becomes a clumpy mess at the bottom of your bottle and it’s $10 more expensive?? No longer worth it.
The old formula was great but now it’s ruined(the new flavors taste almost the same as each other… cherry lime and strawberry lemonade shouldn’t taste the same).

Hello, I knew nothing about Drip Drop until my surgeon told me to stop using Gatorade. I have an illness that if I don’t stay hydrated it could take my life. I started using Drip Drop the end of June 2021.
I began by going to the places the doctor told me it was available. I quickly realized that was not a good source. Sometime in July I think, I went to the source. I could immediately tell the difference in how I felt using Drip Drop and not Gatorade.
I was drinking 2 to 3 24 oz bottles a day along with alkaline water. My skin especially my lips and nails went back to what I call normal as well as my stamina. I continued this for months. I then thought I should be able to cut back to one bottle plus lots of the alkaline water because of the cost.
By Thanksgiving I was so busy and not really paying attention until I realized I was back where I started in July. It is now December and I am back drinking 2 to 3 bottles a day trying once again to recover.
The moral of my story is no cost is to high to keep well. I think it is a great thing you are doing to help others not as fortunate as those of us in the US. Thanks.

This can really cure , when ever my brother feels sick my mom always gives him this and it helps so much
Been using this product regularly for over two decades. It’s been a lifesaver. It got me through chemo, intestinal rocketry, two-hour, intensive weight lifting workouts, an 80 mile bicycle ride in hot weather, nights out with friends (just looking at booze seems to give me a hangover, now) and long hot days doing yard work.
It’s a must-have on long motorcycle rides, especially when wearing “blow-through” ballistic mesh ventilated gear in hot weather because you stay a lot cooler but it dehydates you like crazy. It actually tastes good warm so storing it pre-mixed in motorcycle luggage works well.
I’ve gone through two gallons a day of this because getting dehydrated on a motorcycle is ludicrously dangerous because dehydration massively slows a rider’s ability to respond quickly to the constant, rapidly changing situations a rider faces every moment the bike is moving.
And like others have said, it stops muscle cramps fast and isn’t like drinking a cloyingly sweet, over dyed chemical cocktail like Gatoraid or that GAWD-awful tasting but effective electrolyte solution for infants and toddlers.
We have used this many years and order from REI 2-3 times a year, 5-6 pouches at a time. It has only what’s needed for good, quick hydration. Has never tasted off. This is great for use for illness as well, when a person can easily be depleted and for seniors and children who easily get dehydrated when ill; also sick & injured wildlife and pets.
This is the only product considered safe that way and we use in rescue, per MD and DVM instructions. Some complain it has sugar, but it’s a the minimum amount that is biochemically necessary to rehydrate the body.
This formula, developed by a real biochemical engineer and athletes, is the best and we always carry some in our emergency bags. I also carry a couple plain no flavor bottles pedialyte in case we don’t have water.
You need water with this – that’s the whole point. Prepare as directed to receive the maximum benefit. Thank you REI for continuing to supply this native California (San Diego) product! -PS Originally it was called “Gookenaide”, afrer the one who developed it.
My wife & I, we started drinking Gookinaid ,35 years ago before the name changed to Vitalyte Electrolyte. We found the drink powder during a visit to a health food store, near Lake Couer d’Alene in Idaho.
We are long time residents of Salt Lake City and were on a cycling trip for a ride around the lake and up into the mountains that week. That’s when we first found the drink. For 35 years, it has been our preferred exercise drink.
It has helped me exercise & I am now 84 years old and have used it ever since. I currently have three bags in our kitchen cabinets. Robert Myers & Susan Allen.

I find compared to other products I have tried it was not very noticeable that I was drinking a supplement powder as it dissolved well and did not have a funny flavor or after taste. It mixed best and tasted best with around 12oz of water.
Too much more water diluted the flavor too much. I found I felt hydrated and refreshed after drinking this. I only wished it would be a bit more flavorful. I let my husband try it too and he said it tasted good.
This is a quick and easy hydration and collagen supplement formula for people on the go. If the price point were right, I would definitely purchase this product in the future, and would recommend it to friends or family to try as well.
I have to say, I have tried many different brands of hydration products and I like Hydralyte the best. It’s light, refreshing, not too sweet and low calorie. The price is comparable to the others. The collagen + hydration tastes great but it has half the amount of collagen than the other one I tried.
I usually take my collagen in my coffee so I probably will not change that but I will be continuing to drink the hydration product. This one works the best for me.

Great for kids, adults and seniors to prevent dehydration during moderate activity. Helps prevent muscle cramping, maintains fluid balance and allows for rapid re-hydration without blood sugar spikes or stomach upset.
I tried this product, buying it first in a health food market. So very pleased with the flavor, I will be putting it on auto ship. I have also tried the lemonade flavor. Both are delicious. I usually dislike products that contain stevia of any kind, but while this does contain stevia, it does not have that disgusting taste.
I use it daily because I do intermittent fasting and have recently had problems with foot cramps at night, evidence of an electrolyte deficiency. Drinking a serving of this once or twice a day seems to take care of that problem.
I frequently add 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar to my drink for that benefit, and sometimes crushed, fresh mint. It is refreshing, invigorating, and a nice alternative without any calories and carbs. There are many other flavors available through this manufacturer, but at this time Lucky Vitamin carries only raspberry and lemonade.

I had ordered 2 of the orange flavored electrolytes but received only 1 of those. The package also didn’t have the packing slip this time. All my other packages usually have the packing slips. Please help me with the incomplete order.
Thanks a lot! Note: I tried uploading a photo but was unable to upload. It would be helpful to have the photo requirements. When unable to upload the page doesn’t even give an error just says wait till photo is uploaded.
While ill, my husband got the electrolyte solution for adults. I can’t tell you how surprised I was to feel better in an hour. A week later, I took some to my 96-year-old Mother in the nursing home–same results! Amazing.
I don’t drink a lot of water and am always dehydrated. This product I mix with water due to the sugar content as I am diabetic, and I find it helps me a lot staying hydrated. The test is fine and mixed with water it isn’t that sweet.

Reviews From Real Customers
CVS brand just as good as the Brand Name. I mix with water due to sugar content and make sure I have some in the morning and during the day as I don’t drink enough water and need to stay hydrated and this helps.
HEED’s (High Energy Electrolyte Drink) subtle tasting, all-complex carbohydrate formula goes down easily and supplies you with consistent, long-lasting energy and the electrolytes you need to keep pushing the pace.
Help protect against cramps. Buffers lactic acid. Does not contain anything artificial. Full-spectrum, all chelated mineral, electrolyte profile helps satisfy your body’s mineral requirements. L-Carnosine and Chromium Polynicotinate help to buffer lactic acid and support stable blood glucose levels.
HEED’s sweeteners – stevia and xylitol – are actually good for you, xylitol being especially beneficial. 100 calories per serving.
Gatorade tastes amazing. But it’s garbage for true athletes. Cantaloupe tastes like vomit to me but is highly nutritious. Heed is not the best tasting product but for century cycling rides and hours of backpacking I wouldn’t use anything else.
Hammer is a great product. I have used scratch as it tastes a lot better but for intense activity like riding 100 miles my experience with Hammer Nutrition is amazing. These one star reviews, IMO, are probably from pretend athletes who have no idea how to supplement correctly during intense workouts and put taste of effectiveness as a priority, dumb.
I’ve been using this for long run fuel and electrolytes since 2016 and no matter what else I’ve tried, I eventually learned that this is the one that works for me. I like that the flavor is subtle and it’s not sweet.
It’s very gentle on my at sit I’ve stomach so I don’t have to worry about digestive issues. I’ve just finished a challenge where I had to run over 100 miles a week for 6 weeks and this is all I used for hydration and calories.
Not a single issue. For longer runs I simply mixed a little more powder to water ratio than for the shorter ones and it works like a dream. Lemon Line is my new favorite flavor. I thought it would be a bit acidic but it’s not.
Almost a buttery feel in the flavor. Really good and it does what it says on the container!.
Took this with me on a 4 day backpacking trip comprised of 15-20 mile days. Because it doesn’t contain citric acid, it has a milder, more subtle taste which I found refreshing. I also enjoyed that it’s not overly salty, but still supplied me with plenty of electrolytes.
I highly recommend it as an alternative to mainstream sports drink. It will be my goto from now on. Also, fantastic customer service. In addition to my HEED order they swagged me with a variety of their products, several of which I brought out in the trail with me.
I especially liked the Recoverite! I’m definitely a customer for life.
It is important to stay hydrated after vomiting, especially if you are experiencing dehydration. Drinking small sips of clear fluids like water or ginger ale can help settle your stomach and replenish fluids.
You can also try sucking on ice chips or popsicles. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as they can exacerbate dehydration. If you are still experiencing vomiting and cannot keep fluids down, seek medical attention as you may need to be rehydrated through IV fluids.
