Dress was purchased for my sons wedding. Nice material, great Navy color, sequin embellishments nice touch still can wear whatever jewelry, silver , gold or pearls. Came really wrinkled and Cleaners charged quite a pretty penny to press but I am glad they did it and not me.

I am full busted and it still fit well. Had room throughout hips and waist. I am a tall woman and thus dress still hit just below knees: I enjoy comfortable fashion. If you weigh around 180 up to probably not more than 210 you should be okay with dress.

Would recommend for any age group but think it would best fit those over 50’s.

Wow. Can’t believe I found this dress. I had purchased it from another retailer and lost most of my clothes in a recent move (moving van flooded). It works great on my body: 5’8, 175 lbs and purchased size 16.

I am apple shaped. This covers my knees and hides all other flaws. I removed the embellishment and wash on delicate, hang to dry.

First, the good. Flattering draping and hemline, and the deep teal is a rich & luscious hue. Thick fabric. Shapewear is probably unnecessary. Nice v neckline in the back (but not too deep). Next is the bad.

Unfortunately the neckline, where the top zipper tape meets in the back is off by 1/16”. The high/low look in the back looks as if it was made by a high school home ec student. Unacceptable on a $225 dress.

The ugly? The end of the zipper in the back bumps out in the seam, so what should be seamless & smooth erupts in a little “pimple. ” I ordered the deep wine color of the same dress, to allow me to compare colors.

The wine colored dress has no issues, except the color is not as flattering for my complexion. Both will be returned, unless I’m able to receive the 50% sale price when I call Nordstrom tomorrow. I would order another deep teal dress, except it is now sold out.

Luckily my event is 3 weeks away. Very disappointed.

I purchased this dress for my daughter’s wedding in April for a destination beach wedding. I didn’t want something with too much detail or any bling. In fact I’m thinking about removing the rhinestones on the open sleeves, they are sewn on but I think I can snip to remove or have my seamstress try doing it for me.

I’m 5’6-7″ and currently weigh 210 and I ordered a 14. It fits a little snug but I’m wanting to lose weight in the next 4-1/2 months- (wishful thinking) but if not it’s very stretchy material and will be comfortable as is.

I was going for comfort and practical, this dress will be very comfortable. With a fancy low heel I don’t think I’ll need to have it hemmed or altered. Definitely would recommend ordering-true to size.

I bought this gown for my son’s upcoming wedding. It is very comfortable to wear, the material is soft, the pattern of the rosettes is nice and the tiny sequins give it a little sparkle which makes it even more attractive.

I personally would have liked to have seen more sequins. I originally wanted the eggplant color gown, but could not find it in the store, nor could I order it through Dillards because it was unavailable, with no possible shipping available at this time.

I guess the “cargo crisis” is affecting everything, including clothes. But I am satisfied with the Blue Rosette, the details around the neck and the short sleeves are a peek a boo style, where you see the skin through the tulle which looks really attractive.

I would purchase this again as a gown, and I would even consider purchasing this in the short dress knee length also. But I would suggest offering more jewel tone colors in the rosette style.

I loved wearing this dress for my nephew’s wedding. The size was perfect — I’m short and a bit lumpy. This dress made me feel more slender than I am. Two things to note: the dress lining does not cover the shoulders — only the lace– so I had to wear a nude-color undergarment with straps.

A strapless will be wonderful but I didn’t bring one along with me to the out-of-state event. There is a bit of metallic thread shine in the embroidered lace. Also, the colors in the lace have a gorgeous lavender color.

The photo looks mostly silver/grey, but there is quite a bit of lavender. I loved the color. VERY, Very happy with this purchase.

this dress is amazing! Especially for the price! I am only 5ft and got the size 4, so it drags on the ground a bit (but I expected that), but its light and flowy so you can easily hike it up a bit when walking around lol.

The dress was not see through at all, it was actually very comfortable, and it fit very nicely. I hate wearing dresses because of my love handles, but with the dress being more tight right under the bust it kind of flowed out so my love handles weren’t bulging lol.

I did end up safety pinning the v of the dress because it went down almost to the bottom of my bra, but that was my only issue and the safety pin fixed it. I purchased this dress because I was attending a wedding out of state. The material of the dress is super comfortable and does have some give to it. I ordered a size 8 which looked nice on me but I could of easily worn a size 6 which would have been a bit more form fitting.

If I had to describe the dress it is a classic but simple Calvin Klein dress that can be easily dressed up with nice pump and nice jewelry. While attending the wedding I did received a lot of compliments on the dress so you really can’t go wrong with this dress.

I ordered the malachite in size 6 and the aubergine in size 4 and 6. The aubergine size 4 was too small, but the malachite size 6 was even smaller. The aubergine size 6 fit perfectly. The material and color are nice.

It has some stretch snd the cut is very flattering. It is a nice dress for the price, if you can find a size that fits. I’m 5’4” and 135 lbs. I just reordered the malachite in size 8. They are out of the size 10, so fingers crossed.

I would say this dress is formal. I like the bow and the ribbon that drops down. I paired this dress with nude heel like the model. I will say though the slit isn’t too high up when you’re standing but when you sit down half of your thigh is showing.

So just keep that in mind. If you can overlook that then this is the perfect dress for a formal event. I chose a size 4 and the dress came a little under my knees which I didn’t mind. (I’m 5’2”).

I purchased this dress in Aubergine. The fit is fabulous and it looks amazing! The one star is because the quality is suffering dearly and I want retailers and designers to take a better look at manufacturing processes.

Quality fatigue is setting in with a lot of designers lately and clearly Calvin Klein is one of them. The stitching was poorly done, though fortunately I can sew. This is the third article of clothing from Dillard’s in the last year that I have had a quality issue. Prior to this, I never had this experience with mid to high-end department stores, but it’s seemingly affecting them all now.

The description says the dress is white, it is not. It is actually off-white. This is not quality when true white is expected. I placed an online order, once I realized the dress WAS NOT white, I called the nearest store and the associate informed me that my dress should, indeed, be true white.

She made it seem as though the ones in store were true white. I drove a 1. 5hr trip to exchange the dress with no success. All of the dresses and those similar were ALL OFF WHITE. And it does make a huge difference.

This dress is very flattering, with the cape falling gracefully across one shoulder and front, with just the other shoulder draped. It looks pretty with the cape swung totally to the back, also! Color is a soft green, exactly as in photo.

The fabric is a little thinner than I like. Dress runs small; I had to exchange size 10 for a 12; RL return procedure is the best, easy and quick delivery.

The dress itself is a great-fitting LBD. I especially appreciate the ruching on the side, as it helps define my waist and breaks up the monotony. But the CAPE! Oh my goodness, it is an instant confidence booster.

Gorgeous, classic and sexy; however, I ordered the blue with tan buckle and receive a blue with BLACK buckle. I sent it back, reordered through Customer Service, who specified brown or tan belt. But RL sent the same incorrect color combo: navy with black buckle.

JUST BE AWARE, if you order the blue, you are not getting the same thing as in the picture. In fact, navy/black wasn’t even an option. RL appears to be out of saddle tan buckles, alas! Shall I return the dress a second time?.

The dress was beautiful but fit me a little oddly. The shoulders (off-shoulder design) were on the tight/stiff side and not very comfortable. The dress was a bit difficult to walk in because there is no flap or slit in the back hem of the dress.

Looked good just standing, but walking was awkward. Otherwise the length worked and sizing seemed correct. I’m 5’10, 155, athletic build…and it hit me just below the knee. Returned it simply because portions of it were uncomfortable.

I was so amazed at how beautiful this product was. As always I am very skeptical when it comes to what a product to wear will look like once I am wearing it. This is so very comfortable, it has a great feel to it.

It is simple, but elegant enough to wear for an evening out or even a wedding. My most favorite feature is the flutter sleeves, it is a stunning feature. It has a zippered back closure and secures with a hooked closure at the top.

This dress is made of a good quality and lightweight material. It has a comfy slip underneath to assure no see through issues. At the neckline, there is a hook enclosure and the zipper goes all the way down to the waist.

This dress sits really beautifully on my body. I love that the straps of the dress are thick enough to cover bra straps. The low v neck is a nice touch because it’s low enough to be slightly daring, but not so low that it is unflattering or too inappropriate.

I’m new to Athleta and used the size guide and the helpful reviews from others to help determine the best size. For reference I am 5’2 1/2, 32E bust and 26. 5 waist. Despite the fact that this item is offered in a petite, I went with the suggested ‘True Fit Size’ and went with an XS Regular.

I also thank the other reviewers for saying to stick with the regular sizing. Good thing as the length of the XS Regular is about 1. 5 inches above my knees. I felt like the length was just right for me and a Petite would have been too short.

I also wish Athleta would list measurements of the model and indicate what size they are wearing so that those of us who shop solely online can make better informed purchases.

I’m normally an 8 but in some things size up to 10 for comfort and loosening in troubled areas like stomach. I ordered an 8 and a 10. The 8 was very form fitted and looked good but because it’s more of a business dress for me I went with the 10.

It was a little bit mor forgiving. It you are bigger in the top than bottom by a lot maybe not the dress for you. I’m 5’7″ 175lbs. 36C and it is tight in the arms a bit. Definitely look a bit like a stewardess but very classy look overall.
