I wore this dress to a military ball and it was beautiful. The dress provides sheer sleeve coverage to hide my arms (which i love) and looks so much more expensive in person. I did have a little issue with showing more cleavage than I wanted to but Im not really blessed there so maybe I just couldnt fill it.

I did size up a size and Im glad I did. Im 5’4 and it hit the ground perfectly with my shoes (low heel maybe 1. 5 inches). The purple is a plum color. I loved it. I felt comfortable. I also machine washed it and it came out fine but with a little stress on some of the stitching so Im not sure if it will hold up to another wash.

The zipper was a little tricky as well (its an invisible closure).

Light – this dress is light and nearly weightless. The base layer is narrow enough to keep from flying up, but you won’t feel constricted when walking and it won’t cling to your legs. The overlay is beautifully flowing, but it won’t reach for the sky in a windstorm.

Trust me: I tested this out in the Windy City on a day when the city earned that name. For myself, the roomy, double layer of non-clingy fabric meant that proof of my cheat day wasn’t visible (seriously, everybody has those rolls when sitting down, and some of us when standing up, too).

Plus, no underwear lines, no slip line, no nothing. It was grand. (The royal blue color was not-see through, actually, but I wore a slip anyway. ).

I bought 4 of these dresses in total. I bought 2 last year, which didn’t fit but couldn’t return due to how long I had the dresses. I am now stuck with them and was was total waste of money! I then had to buy 2 more in bigger sizes.

One was the incorrect size, which I sent back and the other had to be altered. I was then down a dress and didn’t have time to get another due to my wedding only being a week away at the time. On the day of my wedding, my bridesmaid dress broke at the top, which meant that she had to change as it was falling off! I am so upset and angry by all of this.

Ordered these for my 8 bridesmaids but need to send them all back. Ordered using the sizing charts but they all come up massive, especially to the top half. The padded cups leave the ladies looking massive in the bust area.

Tried sizing down but then the lace part at the back doesn’t sit right and overhangs at the back whilst the bust area looks out of shape. Really disappointed as they don’t fit at all like the pictures.

Pros: flattering style for most body shapes, and the teal color is lovely and a nice change from all the wine, navy and black. This would be great for graduations or a day wedding, but maybe not dressy enough for the current homecoming trends full of bling.

Cons: there’s no need for the padded inserts to be as thick as they are. The dress is for a 14 year old, and the bulky cup caused a poor fit. My daughter tried on this dress in two different fabrics, and the plain fabric (as opposed to the glitter-covered one) fit a little bigger.

Bought this dress for prom for my daughter and it was a dream! the crepe was very forgiving of wrinkles, the adjustable straps made it fit her 5’3 size XS frame perfectly (we slid them all the way to the front and the clasps were not noticeable, but kept it from being too low cut on her tiny frame), and the lace back gave it a great ‘wow’ factor.

The zip on the lace back does not go all the way down. This makes it very hard to even get into the dress if you have a hourglass figure because you have to either get your hips or shoulders through the tightest part of the dress.

Bust was actually a little big for me which is surprising because usually I have trouble getting tops to fit my bust. I needed to wear my skimpiest bra (so to say) just so it wouldn’t show. You could also pin in the center.

I usually wear a size 18/20. I’m pretty consistently that size. However, going off of the size charts on the website, I had to order a size 26! When it arrived, it fit fairly well. Will probably need a little tweaking here and there, but overall, nice.

However, I have several plus-size friends I was hoping to recommend this site to, but because of the ridiculous sizing, I don’t think that will be possible. Upsides: The cinching at the waist and the sweetheart neckline are flattering.

I like the modesty of the cap sleeves. And the color is true to photo. Fabric is not stretchy and doesn’t breathe a ton, but it isn’t uncomfortable either. About as comfortable as a formal dress gets, lol.

The colors of the dresses are gorgeous! Although due to losing weight they didn’t work our for me, I would definitely search their site again. I also send my granddaughter here to look for her prom dress.

The dress itself is lovely. Beautiful color, maybe a little more orange than the photos, but fairly spot on. The pockets are a nice feature, but they are not tacked together. This probably allows for it to sit better on the body but then you are fumbling once you get through the top layer to find the next pocket hole for the slip layer.

Not a deterrent, just something to note. The most confusing part was the sizing. After measuring myself twice, I found in the sizing that I was technically 2 sizes larger than what I normally am. I decided to order one size larger just in case sizing was small.

When I received the dress, I was swimming in it. The exchange process was very easy! I got the smaller size within a week of ordering. I would recommend following your gut on your normal sizing and order based on that.

What I love about the dress: the thickness. It is not a thin, flimsy garment; it has a nice weight and drape to it, and it is comfortable to wear. What I don’t love: the sash. It reminds me of a bathrobe sash, and it actually kind of makes the dress look like a very fancy bathrobe.

It would look much better with a different belt or none at all. Sizing: I am going to say it runs about right, but not perfect. I am a M according to waist and hip measurement, and a L according to bust measurement.

I got the L to be on the safe side, and I am glad that I did. The L fits right in the bust, right at the waist, and a little loose in the hips. It should have been a little loose at the waist, so in that case, the waist runs small.

The length was super long, even with three and four inch heels. I am average height and I will need to have it the length altered (a super easy fix, though!). Color: I got the dark green. It looks much more vibrant on screen, of course.

The dark green is pretty dark. It’s not the dark emerald as I was hoping for, but you can still tell it is green. Cut: The neckline has a pretty good plunge and it will show cleavage if you are a B+/C or higher.

The leg opening is also high, but that is easy to stitch up without it pulling apart if you need it a little more modest (I am fine with it as is!). The seam at the waistline is a little high. I am average height, but I am also long waisted.

Most waist seams on dresses hit too high on me, so that is no surprise. The belt covers the seam, but if you are bothered by the feel of it and know you are long waisted, it could be an issue. I think I will be fine with it; it’s more comfortable than most.

Value: Excellent! this is a nice dress and as I wrote earlier, it is a good weight. It does not have a separate lining, but the fabric has a nice backing. It is a good purchase overall.

I just received in the mail and tried it on immediately. I fell in love with the fabric and the way it moves. It does not cling to your bumps and lumps. However, the stitching under the bosom was not straight and made the material fall strangely on my chest.

I tried a different bra that had more padding and it only made it worse. The arm holes were too big as well. I Unfortunately I will be returning. The price of the dress does not match the sewing for me and my body shape.

I was searching for a mother of the bride dress that was less formal, wasn’t beaded or sequined, I could be comfy in all day and didn’t go “shoosh” when you walked. This dress did all that and was actually flattering on my 5’3” size L frame.

I opted against it because of color and material. It was darker than I liked (almost black in darker lighting or shadows) and for a summer island wedding just didn’t seem right. Also the satin material, while again very comfy, and the ruffles in the skirt gave the dress almost a luxurious nightgown kind of look which 2 members of my family remarked, independent of each other! By the way, I ordered an XL and returned for a Large but couldn’t get past the satin look.

The olive green is a deep rich color, and didn’t wash me out like some more”khaki” greens. I’m a size 14 up top but 16 on the bottom and 200 lbs, and the size L was just right. (The XL was way too baggy in the chest (I’m a 38D), with armholes that were too loose.

I love this dress! The fabric is more beautiful in person with small white sequins that sparkle. There’s some gaping in the chest so I will be using some fabric tape. The sleeves are slim so beware it could be tight.

The fabric is a little scratchy on the sleeves but the bodice is smooth. Also the under layer is more mauve than yellow which I really love. It’s very long, but I like it that way for flow in pictures.

Overall, this dress was pretty. However, a few things about it that caused me to not say, “This is the one!” One, I needed the straps to be super tight in order to stay up in the front. This meant they basically would dig into my skin and felt as if overtime I would have red marks on my back and would not be very comfortable.

I don’t know if bustier women would have this same issue or if it was the fabric and/or width of the straps. Other than that, it did fit well. Two, the fabric is see through so this dress definitely needs a slip.

But the fabric was quality fabric in my opinion. Three, the front part that covered my chest did not feel very secure. It wasn’t sturdy in general and I felt like if I did go with this dress, I was going to need to add something to the bust area to make sure it stayed up so I wouldn’t be flashing anyone.
