I will try to add pics after my big day, but this dress has truly made my day. It fits like a glove. I’m typically a size 10 and 5’11-6ft tall. It hits the floor. The slit is not to high. And it first like a glove.

I also am broad chested with large breast. I found that the dress fits better without a bra and keeps them in place. Lastly I suggest wearing an under garment as it is white. And though not this it’s the linen type material.

I’m grabbing a pair of spanx or skims high waisted thong.

This dress is form fitting and tastefully understated. It is both sexy and elegant. I would say the sizing is about right, possibly a little on the small size. I ordered an XS and I am 5’6″ and about 90 pounds.

It fits perfectly, but after a meal, the bodice would feel snug! The length needs to be altered–it is about 5 inches too long! But other than that, I am very satisfied with this dress. It is good quality, lined and falls beautifully to the floor.

This would have been so nice. However, with my booty and smaller top area, this was definitely a miss. I got a large to fit my hips and then the top was way too big. I thought the dress would stretch, but it’s a crepe type material.

If I go smaller the hips will be tight! Ugh! I’m about 34-29-40. It’s so pretty tho. Perfect to just have for those special occasions.

Bought to wear to a black tie optional wedding. First ordered a 16 but returned for a 14 and will keep it. I do have to have it hemmed, and the seamstress said the front was longer than the back, which is weird and I think a designer fault.

I’m 5’7 and 175 lbs. and the 14 fits well. Not a big fan of the glitter, that will stick to me wherever the overlay comes in contact. Sequins would be better.

Beautiful dress. Bought for my grandson’s wedding. Mimi can’t go wrong with navy blue – but it’s definitely not “granny”. Jersey underlining with stretch lace over-dress and chiffon “poncho” makes for a stylish but comfortable Mimi! There is a scattering of small sequins and beading that add a little sparkle, Love it!.

I bought this dress for my son’s afternoon wedding the end of May in TN. It is light weight and a flattering sheath fit under the chiffon layer. There is just enough beading on the shoulder to give it interest and the color is muted so I won’t out-sparkle the bride’s very simple dress.

I am 5′ 4″ and the hem falls just below my knee. It is the only dress I tried on that needs no alterations. It fits my full figure well.

I searched for a long time for a cotton nightgown with short sleeves and finally found it! I love it so much I bought two and will probably buy more. The short sleeves are perfect for when hubby turns the A/C up and I start freezing.

Once my shoulders are cold, the rest of me is cold. This gown is the perfect length, roomy, very pretty and has short sleeves (not those capped sleeves on other nighties)!!! Love them.

I ordered three of these recently – mint, purple and royal. I has hoped the royal leaned a little closer to navy but it is true bright royal blue. I wish there were a light blue. Otherwise the color selection is great.

I was a bit afraid the trim would be itchy cheap lace but it is more like an eyelet and not causing me any irritation. Stock was low when I ordered so I could not get the colors I truly wanted but that is okay.

It is so comfortable that I may wind up with every color. I ordered two in size 3X and one in 2X. The 3X is a but large but maybe a trip to the dryer will take care of that. The 2X is a perfect fit but I do wish the neckline was about 1/2-1″ lower in the front.

On both sizes, the hem of the sleeve tends to fold up as you move your arms. I may take an inverted tuck in the lower sleeve at some point to stop that from happening. The embroidery is lovely (but i have to admit I sometimes think the yellow ones are actually a dropped blood pressure pill!).

My only other wish would be that the stabilizer behind the embroidery had been removed after it was made but that kind of individual attention would probably drive up the price. I love the length and the fact that the nightgowns are 100% cotton.

Since I am homebound, I generally stay in a nightgown all day and my few neighbor visitors have exclaimed about how lovely the nightgowns are. I give these 5 stars all around, one of my most successful online purchases.

In the past I have leaned towards nightgowns in print fabrics (in case I spill something) but that is not a reason not to enjoy these. I will probably also buy one or two for a friend for Christmas, since she introduced me to the company.

I LOVE these nightgowns! I was looking for some time for the right 100% cotton gown. Tried many that were uncomfortable or looked horrible. I finally decided to try these and I am so glad I did. They are exactly what I wanted.

I bought 3 and they worked so well, that I decided to buy several more in different colors. Good fabric (not thin and see-through like some others) and comfortable. Very happy with this purchase.

Ok, so I had a wonderful experience choosing a dress, I love this dress. It was absolutely perfect for my wedding day. Everyone loved it & I received compliments all night! The corset back was beautiful, the details are beautiful, everything was gorgeous!.

But let’s talk about those DB alterations. I was quoted at $150 for a hem, and $50 for a bustle. Each additional point would be $7. I figured ok, probably under $250. No problem! Well, we finish, and she writes up the ticket.

150 hem, 50 regular bustle, 14 for additional loops. Then she adds another 50 for a royal bustle, and $112 for 16 pulls. $20 for cups?? No cups were added. $20 for a steam. It was NOT steamed. Now let’s talk about that bustle from earlier that cost me $226.

It fell completely apart before I even got to my reception. Didn’t last a 15 minute car ride. The thread used was absolutely awful, thin, broke just from walking? Not to mention a corset string was broken so we couldn’t even hook the top attachment.

What a rip off. Basically paid $420 for a hem, because that’s all I got. The dress was stepped on ALL night. I wouldn’t use DB again for alterations.

I love this dress! It’s so versatile and so comfortable. I usually wear size 1 or 2 in dresses, so I tried on a size 1 at the store and it was too big on my chest, even though I’m a 40D. I ordered a size 0 online hoping that would work, and it does! The waistband is also nice and stretchy so still not too tight even with sizing down.

The straps are adjustable so that helps as well, and it has pockets! I’m pear shaped so love that this is tighter at the waist and flowy on the bottom half. I’m 5’4” and it’s a little past mid calf on me.

I ordered the electric blue version of this dress and let me tell you, it’s GORGEOUS! Not only is the colour just as advertised but it has POCKETS!!! I do warn though that the top is a bit snug if you have a larger bust like me.

I have a tiny back but, the dress still only JUST fits and has very little stretch to it. Regardless, this is the perfect dress for any occasion! Dress it up with a wrap and heels, or dress it down with a jean jacket and flip flops! I am a very happy customer.

Cuter in person with a Tim Burton vibe! Drape is very flattering, the skirt flows nicely, and the pockets are a fun surprise. However the top runs huge and it either fits your chest or it doesn’t, there’s no leeway.

(No wonder the model is wearing a jacket!) I am bigger in the waist/tummy but not so much the bust. So disappointed!! I usually wear a 0 for tops and dresses and the fit is terrible, sadly.

I do a lot of cycling and use this for the contact point with the saddle i.e. undercarriage area. Does the job perfectly, easy to use and has plenty of applications.

This cream was not kind to intimate areas would not use this product as it burnt and lefy me in pain for days and I followed the instructions to the letter

I bought the multi colour stripe version of this dress in the spring and fell in love. I bought this dress hoping for the same magic/joie de vivre and it was close but just missed. The good: the fabric is so soft it is silky, the slits give some ooh la la, the neckline highlights your ladies and it remains office appropriate The so close but just missed the mark: I loved the colour online and it is lovely in person but on its own in this dress shape it can look a bit hospital-ish.

I added some bolder accessories, fancy sandals and a floral kimono and the dress came to life. The fabric feels amazing but the lighter colour combined with where the drawstring waist is can highlight tummy curves so cautio if you’re not looking to play that up (suggest size up).

I am normally a 2-3 and even in the 3 my tummy was emphasized more than I wanted so no eating burritos in this dress unless you want people asking how far along you are with your lunch baby :/ I am going to keep playing with it and it is still a lovely dress but could have been better.

I adore this dress. I received the dress in the mail on the same day I saw some pics from a work do where I didn’t like how I looked and it put me in a bad mood. I gained a few lbs and just didn’t look like myself.

While in that mood, I tried this dress on and LOVED the way it fit. It’s safe to say my mood changed. 🙂 I have it in legion blue, which is more of peacock dark teal-y blue heather. It’s absolutely gorgeous and fits me really well.

I was intrigued with this style/cut of dress and the reviews I read when I purchased were promising. I ordered my usual size 2. The super soft fabric is very clingy and the style of this hugged my belly and made it look fuller, stretched across my belly similar to a maternity dress.

I would have tried to size up except that I am not super full chested and the top of this was already pretty loose and moving around, sizing up would definitely be too big on the top. I think this would be awesome for apple shapes, big chest women and for those with flat-ish bellies.

But for medium chested, bottom heavy, full tummy bodies like mine, this made me look bigger and lumpy, despite being a black dress. The material is so comfy, felt lightweight for spring/summer, just didn’t work on my body, I returned.

I bought this dress in both the black paisley and the red. These dresses are amazing in fit, flow, flair, and style! I’m 5’4″ tall (sans heels) and these dresses, with heels, fall just below my knees.

The slip underneath is slightly shorter, but is overall perfect. If you don’t like the elastic at the bottom of the sleeves, you can pull the sleeves/elastic to sit inside your elbow, and then the sleeves still look billowy, but not “too” billowy – it still has a really nice shape.

Plus, it’s comfortable, so the elastic band doesn’t cut your circulation off. 🙂 This dress is perfect for work, church, or even a nice dinner out or a dinner party. The red dress would be perfect for end of the year festivities.

Both have very, very thin strings of gold lateral gold threads which make it even more beautiful. If you have a tummy, this style definitely hides it. 🙂 If Torrid carried any more dresses like this (but in different patterns), I would totally buy them all! Most Torrid tops fit me in a size 2, so stick with your regular size.

If you have a significantly larger cup size (maybe a DD or bigger), you may want to go up a size to ensure the fit in the bust is comfortable for you. Oh. and these dresses have pockets, too! So, you just slip the dress over your head without having to zip it.

It does have a button at the top of the neck in the back, but you have enough room due to the v-neck that it shouldn’t be necessary to unbutton it to put it on (it wasn’t necessary for me). Win/Win/Win!.

Okay so I loved how this looked on me and fit. I am 5’4, size 22-24 bottoms and size 1-2 tops. 40F bra size. The major problem with this dress is the pattern. You’ll have massive paisley prints on just one side of the dress going straight down the entire dress in a line but then spread out nicely everywhere else.

It reminds me of a LuLa Roe legging print going terribly wrong. Lol esp where they stitch it between the chest. Each one looks different but all the ones at my local torrid had awful options for the pattern problem in my size.

Saw online, & went and tried it on in my local store. Based on reviews everyone said this was TTS , but I typically wear a 0 in Torrid, and had to size up to a 1 in this dress. I got the Dark/black paisley print.

When I went to try on the 0 I could tell I was barely going to get it over my head and shoulders. When I tried on the 1 it slid on with ease. My top sizes are LG or 0 in Torrid OR XL- 1 in Torrid (if I want extra room).

I ordered 6 different dresses to start my search for a Mother of the Groom dress. This was the first one I tried. My immediate reaction was that this felt like a nightgown, it was so comfortable! Every dress I tried after this just didn’t compare.

The fabric is so soft and drapes beautifully. Shoulders can be worn up or down. I did order a strapless, backless bra to wear with it, for my own comfort and feeling of security (the shoulders were a bit loose on me).

I really love the color. Its a flattering cut. The skirt wraps around so that the you are not fighting an open slit all night. The fabric feels so nice. It says its jersey which I thought was t-shirt material and this is definitely not that.

Is very nice to the touch. I don’t love the embellishment but I also don’t hate it. I do wish it had sleeves as my arms are past the time to show them but I like the dress enough to show them anyway.

Love the length. You can showcase your shoes with this length. Then, when you take them off later, the dress will not drag the ground. I bought this as a mother of the groom dress for an October wedding in a location that could still be pretty warm at that time.

I am 60 years old, about 5’5″ tall, and weigh about 170. I have a pear shape and most of the time I can wear size 12 pants and a medium shirt. I have a black tie event that I am attending in June and needed something to wear.

I have a size 12 dress that I am wearing for the cocktail party the night before that just fits. I wasn’t sure how this would fit so I ordered a 10 in the royal blue and the 12 in the eggplant, mainly because those were the colors available in those sizes.

When they came I was really hoping at least the royal blue one would fit because I really thought I would love that blue. As it turns out the eggplant one in 10 fit! Even though I was able to slip it on without unzipping it, it fits snuggly on the bodice and drapes so nicely on the shoulders.

The 12 fit about the same in the bodice but the shoulders were too big and would have had to be altered. The hem just barely touches the floor and I am ok with that length so I am not going to have to have it altered at all.

The material is really luxurious and the color is really beautiful. It’s not really as dark as an eggplant- It’s more of a deep plum color. The eggplant actually looked better than the blue- I was surprised at that.

I was a little worried about the slit but it is just about 2-3 inches above the knee and that doesn’t bother me at all. It fits well and I am incredibly happy with this purchase. I just hope I have something else in the future I can wear it to.

The fit is exactly what I was looking for. Front tie very flattering. Length is good. Will work great for work meeting, something basic and classic at events.

The dress looked better on the model. The tie front fabric does not sit at the waistline as shown on the model. Either the fabric is too wide for the waist, or it should be better tied at the back, not in front.

Color was pretty but the fit of the dress was not flattering on me. I have a straight body type and the hips in the dress were too wide. Fit would probably be better if you have curves. The length of the dress was excellent for a tall gal like me.

I saw this dress and tried to order but it was sold out in my size. I added it to my wish list and came on a couple days later and poof… 1 was available in my size so I immediately ordered it fully expecting the order to be canceled as happens from time to time.

NOPE! It arrived but took awhile. It is AMAZING! The fit is GORG! It makes me feel so good and confident and comfortable. Every single part of the dress is perfection! I haven’t washed it yet but it’s the super soft material which I own plenty of other items in so I’m guessing it will wash and wear similar to everything else I own I’m that fabric.

I rented this for vday and it was a great dress for date night. It was really flattering on the waist and the vneck was flattering without feeling too revealing. It was a bit short on me so I wore tights.

I’m extremely curvy, 32DDD and Booty so finding a dress that fits and won’t snag is hard for me. I got a small and it worked perfectly, the only issue is the top hook became undone when I was out for dinner but other than that it was super flattering.

This was cute for work but definitely short. I am 5’ 3” and it worked, but any shorter and I wouldn’t have worn. Also the clip one the back of the neck kept up clipping all day so that way annoying.

I love this dress so much! Most of the week I’m in tees and leggings, but on the weekends I like to “shake things up” and wear something “dressier. ” It helps when you’re stuck in the house so much, these days.

It’s a definite pick-me-up. It’s soft, fits well and love the pockets, too. I bought the washed black and probably will buy the other color, too.

I loves this so much. Super cute and comfortable and easy to throw on over a variety of t shirts to keep things fresh. But even as a shorter person (5’4”) it was on the shorter side and unfortunately after it accidentally went through the dryer, it shrunk a ton and it’s now almost too short to wear.

Came back to see about ordering it again and super bummed to see it’s out of stock now.

This is the modern jumper dress that I’ve been waiting for! This dress is well made, easy to care for, and a closet staple. Like all other Known Supply pieces I’ve purchased, the quality on this dress is superb.

I am a 40DDD ordered my normal size 16W but the bust was much too small. The cups would fit a C cup at largest. The color is gorgeous. I’m 5’7 and the length is perfect. But the bust size made the whole top fit funny.

I wanted to love this. Slightly disappointed at the quality of the seams. Easily wrinkles making an expressive dress look like a crumpled night gown. The plunging v neck is lower than appears in photos so be prepared for either tailoring or some sort of bralette underneath.

I have tried many different long dresses to wear for my daughter’s Summer wedding, of different brands, price ranges, styles and from numerous stores. This gown is absolutely beautiful! It’s figure flattering, long enough for me wearing 2” heels and I’m 5’ 8” tall.

I can sit and walk and move easily in this. Eventhough the dress has three layers, it’s amazingly lightweight. The bodice is not itchy and the arms are tight fitting. I can raise my arms without a problem.

I’ve never worn a dress with built in boning, but this bodice only has two and they just help to form the top and don’t restrict movement. I wear a size 16 in dresses, and this 16 fits true to size. The orchid pink color is actually more of a light lavender and the inner lining seems more grey or silver.

The zipper did stick a bit at the place where the lining stops, but there was a little piece of embroidery lace caught in it and now it’s fine. The sewn in bra cups are too high up for me and I’ve already taken the dress for a few alterations including moving the bra pads.

The embroidery is silver flowers with rose gold center sequins. The fabric doesn’t tend to wrinkle. To be honest, the dress is over my budget, but as soon as I tried it on, I knew I had found my MOB dress! Nordstrom sent in a thick well constructed cardboard box, in plastic and on a hanger.

In my experience, dress runs small; I had to go up 2 sizes. The built-in bra may not work for me now but I am hoping alterations can help me. Yes, extra expense but after trying 6 dresses I’ve decided this is my MOB dress.

Illusion top too large but should be easy to alter. Flattering for larger bust & hiding stomach. Seems very well made. I advise to keep checking website for returned dresses – that’s how I found my size – worth the search I understand the manufacturer is shipping more in early May 2022, so keep checking, hopefully Nordstrom will get more.

I’m return a size 16 today or tomorrow I followed manufacturers sizing and it was still too small. Wish Nordstrom would order more in larger sizes for mature figures. who want a dress with some sort of sleeve.

This dress is wonderful! It looks much better than the pictures. The color is more silver/gray than it appears on the website. It appeared to me a bit more blue online but that may just be my interpretation.

It fit perfect, except for the length, which I expected. I’m old enough to remember when dresses for the most part were not long enough if taller than 5’6″! I read reviews that almost everyone has to get the length altered and some weren’t happy about it.

For a floor length dress this should be expected. The dress is SUPER comfortable. The boning in the bodice is a huge plus (no miserable foundations necessary for most) and the base fabric was soft and not stiff.

I absolutely LOVED the pockets! I had tissue and my lipstick in one pocket and the other pocket was used to put my glasses in for posed photos.
