I live in an older house and one of the bigger issues in my house is when my sink backs up in the kitchen it’s tends to back up into my basement making a huge mess so I need to make sure that my kitchen sink drain is clean and clear so these seemed like an easy way to help keep up with that and I have to say it’s does a good job of leaving my sink drain smelling clean and I haven’t seen any food build up.

This product really does the job at getting rid of unpleasant odors coming from the disposal. I had been trying vinegar but the smell kept coming back. Be aware, though that this product has a very strong lemon scent.

Not everyone may be able to tolerate the strength of it. You can even smell it before you open the package. It mellows out and is not as strong after putting it into the disposal. I found that it was very long lasting, up to a week or more without any new bad odors.

I really like the idea of using an enzymatic cleaner for my pipes instead of harsher chemicals. I’ve had success with similar products in my bathroom sinks so I was excited to try this product for my garbage disposal.

The pod was larger than expected and the process was easy. The foam cam up through my other sink and the lemen scent was pretty mild. I couldn’t really see a huge change in anything but I think the benefits of this product are deeper in the pipes.

I’m really hoping that regular use of this product will help deter fruitflies that are attracted to the odors in my garbage disposal. Time will tell.

Roebic imho makes the best septic helpers on the market. I use these more frequently than quarterly and toss in other products in between to help a sluggish system. \n

Tried a few different things that did not work. Had to snake out a drain every couple of months. I used this K-87 about a year ago and my drain has been working great. Got more to use on other drains.

Great for deleting GRAY water jn washing machine soap water dry well.

This only works for one hour. at most! Its just a coverup. does nothing to eliminate odors. I found just running disposal and dribbling a bit of bleach water into it while running does the trick! Adjust the strength of bleach by diluting with some water.

Run a very fine stream of water. barely any. while doing it. but beware of splashing from disposal. use splash guard if you have one. You might have to do a couple of treatments. I keep a small jar of bleach water on the back of sink for this purpose or maybe better under sink.

But Plink junk is definitely a huge waste of money!!.

Great stuff. Only one package was very old, the spherical pods were stuck against the plastic, making it difficult to pull out. All others were in perfect condition. However the flaw it may be, I still would buy from them again.

The orange fragrance was an interesting change from the lemon. Would I buy it again? Probably not. Would I buy it if the store was all out of lemon? If only a couple of weeks, then no. If a couple of months, then yes.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they discontinued this someday. (Their original lemon is still 5*).

These are going to become a regular item in my house. They smell so good. I only use them after I’ve cleaned my disposal with boiling hot water & dish soap. They don’t only last a minute as other reviewers claim (or maybe they aren’t cleaning their drains prior to using them) for me the scent carries for a full day which still isn’t very long but definitely longer than some reviews say.

Still, I try to only “plink” once a week to delay having to buy them so often. I’d rather use these and have nice smelling disposal for a day or two than have a 24/7 stinky disposal. In between Plinking I use some boiling water & dawn.

It would be nice if they lasted a few days or a week which is why I knocked a star off.

These definitely helped with the smell, especially as it’s running. It doesn’t seem to last very long (probably due to how bad our disposal was/is) but I do feel confident that it’s making a dent. Especially helpful to use right before you have guests come over!.

I’m not sure how well this works to clean but it does refresh and deodorizes the garbage disposal. They are cheap and easy to use. The lemon scent is refreshing. The fragrance does not last long but it does seem to neutralize the odors, so even if the lemon scent has faded there are no bad odors after using.

A lot easier on your garbage disposal than throwing lemons in it. I’ll continue to use this product.

Love the smell. Says to use once a week but really, twice a week. That is why I selected bad value. Pricy but the blue sticks only work well in drains, not garbage disposals and the price on those went down.

These are great. They are easy to use. You just put one of these into the disposal and run it. It has a fairly strong lemon scent, but it doesn’t last long. It is a bit expensive, however, there are 40 treatments so I feel its worth the money.

I will give this a three star. it does work but only or a short minute. The smell is great and does help the but only for a minute. It would be if it lasted awhile. You only get 10 maybe in the package and you might use two at one time.

Total waste of money. Yes, they smell wonderful but guess what. Lemon peels and orange peels do this exact same thing. After purchasing them twice, I realized to first use bleach or Lysol, don’t rinse then put either an orange or lemon (can even be just the peels) and it lasts just as long!.

Excellent drain opener, or just use as drain maintenance. Can’t beat the price for the amount of product in botttle. Only downside is that sometimes it is not packaged properly, and you have drain opener leaking through the box.

Better to pick up at a Walmart. Enhanced safety measures need to be implemented before shipping. Ex : tape the caps, put bottles in separate plastic bags, add more air packs to box, etc.

Worked as advertised. Had clogged bathroom sink drain that would take a minute to drain a cup of water. Waited until drain finally cleared and poured Great Value drain cleaner in the sink (used about 1/3 of bottle).

Let sit about 30 minutes as directed. I boiled water in a medium sized pot and then poured the almost boiling water in the sink. Voila! Clog gone. Best thing is that product appears to have similar ingredients to name brand product on shelf next to it.

but at a much lower cost. Recommend highly.
