20 Best Drag Clicking Mouse For Minecraft (2023 Updated)

The Razer DeathAdder is an iconic line of gaming mice that’s been around for years. This latest version continues the line’s focus on hyper performance an ergonomic package. Unlike the Basilisk line of mice, this is a comparatively no frills affair, lacking RGB and flash, but for gamers looking for a wireless mouse, this should be on your short list.

The DeathAdder V3 Pro does a lot of things right. Here are the highlights of my experience with the mouse after just under a week of usage. Ergonomics are on point for the most part, though I see two issues with the design.

First, if you have small hands, you’re going to find this mouse cumbersome and likely too big for comfort. It’s an oddly large mouse that didn’t exactly feel natural in the hand at first, but given the overall shape, I got used to it fairly quickly.

Secondly, it’s non-ambidextrous so this is for righties only. If these two points aren’t of concern, you’ll find a mouse that’s comfortable for LONG gaming sessions and will not cause hand or arm fatigue.

It’s an understated shape and design, but that’s a good thing in my book. Performance is on par with the best of my other mice, including the wired ones. Being wireless is a huge benefit, giving you one less distraction while gaming, provided the wireless protocol the mouse uses is a sound implementation.

The good news here is that the Razer implementation is indeed sound, giving you wired performance without the wires. One bummer here is that the mouse is HyperPolling enabled but doesn’t include the necessary hardware in the box.

That is, this mouse supports a polling rate of up to 4000mhz, but that’s enabled only if you spend an additional 30 dollars for their HyperPolling dongle system. Out of box, you get a 1/4th of the performance at 1000mhz.

For the average gamer, this isn’t a big concern, but given the DeathAdder’s target market of hardcore gamers and casual alike, this feels like a letdown to not have the performance handicapped out of the box.

Battery life in the standard 1000mhz polling mode is quite impressive. Razer quotes upwards of 90+ hours of usage, and I’m inclined to believe this. This is probably the result of them utilizing the larger size of the mouse to include a bigger battery, and also the result of the mouse having zero RGB functionality.

Having owned a Basilisk Pro (the previous V2 version) in the past, it had some great RGB functionality but suffered greatly in the battery life department. That’s not the case here. My primary issue with the DeathAdder is a problem I’ve had with all Razer mice I’ve tried; the scroll wheel feels subpar.

While it has a smooth scroll feel, the detents are too soft for my liking. The result of this is difficulty in fast weapon swapping maneuvers in FPS games. So far, I haven’t observed any mis-scrolling (missed scrolls, over-scrolling, etc) but it feels like over time, it’s going to be an issue for me.

Overall, this is a very good mouse. It has the performance and ergonomics to please even the most serious of gamers, provided you have medium to large hands. If you’re looking for a new mouse, this one should be on your short list.

I have tried multiple gaming mice– The Logitech G Pro Wireless, the Finalmouse Ultralight Pro, Zowie’s S2, as well as the Glorious Model O Wireless. I have spent countless dollars switching up my mouse to see which one would allow me to perform at the best of my ability.

Picture my surprise when a budget model of a popular mouse line ends up being the best one so far. I purchased this mouse when it was on sale for around $32– which I could say is a steal. On top of being (obviously) smaller than the regular Viper, the Mini eschews the rubberized grips and the left-hand side buttons.

The Mini’s 3359 sensor may not be as advanced as the Viper’s 3389 sensor, but realistically speaking I couldn’t find a difference in-game at all. The shape of the mouse accommodates well for fingertip and claw grip– easily allowing you to switch in-between grips when you need to.

And plus with a weight of only 61 grams, the Viper Mini is very comfortable to use. The sensor is also top-notch. It’s super accurate and tracks even the fastest flicks. My main gripe with the sensor would be the high lift-off distance, but in all honesty it hasn’t made me lose any matches yet.

The build quality is incredibly high for how much it weighs. The structure remains intact if I firmly squeeze the mouse from the left and right sides; no squeaks or crunches are made either. Upon shaking the mouse, the only sound that could be heard would be the rattle of the mouse wheel, and is rather minimal in that.

All in all, for under $50 dollars, the Razer Viper Mini is an absolute beast for its price point and is perhaps one of the very best gaming mice in the market today. I have spent more than twice the amount for a mouse and I still prefer the Mini over them.

So regardless if you had just built your first gaming PC and are looking for a great first mouse to use, or a seasoned player searching for the mouse that’ll best help with those one-taps, the Razer Viper Mini is 100% my first choice.

Hi, so this mouse is a super light, super small mouse. According to some, the ingredients for the quickest and accurate mouse style for fps. I loved this razer because it hits all the needs for a WIRED super light mouse.

Optical switches to make every click, 60 grams, the skates on these are a good mixture of control and speed. So pairing this mouse on a slippery pad lile g sr se works great from my experience. The form for my hand is great judging that I’ve used other mice that caused pain.

My hands are avg and your hand doesn’t have to bend with your pink towards your thumb inward (usually small mice) because this one’s shape stops that. So my middle knuckle pain disappeared on this. The form is subjective I’d say.

For the price this goes, it’s above and beyond. The sode buttons are good, they aren’t protruding but I don’t know yet if I’d prefer that. I am a competitive fortnite player (yes, leave me alone xD) and grip is important when your cranking so I’d guess side mouse buttons that don’t get in the way is a good thing for gripping and flicking your mouse.

I have yet to see the mouse go fully flying out of my hand so grip overall is there. The wire outs fine though a paracord or more flexible one would be ideal but depending on if you position the wire on a bungee in the right spot, you won’t feel it Much.

Price is good because waiting for wireless version isn’t That taxing. Summary of features that stood to me: Good accurate registered Clicks (optical switch) – balance between control and speed skates pairs great with quicker mats in my experience (example: g sr se) -Super light (60 grams) super small yet feels bigger then it should be down the top of mouse (good for me as small mouse usually hurt how small for me) -Wish wired but great price for super light mouse until the market actually creates one (Wire is ok on this, doesn’t get fully in way.

) -You won’t find a mouse with this price and this quality. Best price I’ve seen on a mouse with this nature And lastly, have a great day.

Fits my small hands very well. (17 x 8) I can fingertip it if I need, but have no trouble palming or clawing, although the back doesn’t have that big of a hump. but it’s not a big deal. For around 40$, this mouse is a steal.

There are no creaks, and the overall build quality is very high. The texture is grippy, but not too grippy. Grip tape shouldn’t be necessary, but it can help. It’s a matte finish, I believe, and the material leads me to believe it won’t develop a shine over time.

The software is quite good as well, as you can customize the mouse to your mousepad, and decrease lift off distance by experimenting around with that (the main complaint from most users are the high liftoff distance, around 2.

5mm to start. However, I configured it, testing multiple pre-sets in the software, and now the LOD is less than 1 CD. Very nice. The RGB is minimal yet effective, as it has a nice underglow and the logo is RGB as well.

This easily boosted my FPS by 25%, and I can easily call myself a pro gamer now. But in all seriousness, excellent mouse. Criminally underpriced, but who’s complaining? Definitely consider checking this out if you have small-medium hands.

Did I mention how light it is? I’m not a fan of honeycombs, so most lightweight mice on the market these days having honeycombsis a big turn-off for me. This mouse is a mere 63g without any honeycombs of any kind! And with RGB, that’s pretty damn impressive.

Easily a 10/10 for me, although it’s hard to say how consistent the software will be for people to reduce LOD.

Due to a neurological condition, I have lost some fine motor control in my right hand. I am not a gamer, but use professional-level music creation apps which require game-like accuracy. As such, I wanted a mouse with more precision than the low-end, full-size gaming mouse I was using.

A quick search located the Razer. It took a bit of getting used to. It is smaller than a standard desktop mouse, but I plan to use it with a laptop, too, so that was good. Pros: Good accuracy. Smaller size needs less real estate.

Has many more buttons than I will use, and those have dual functions. Highly customizable, and an associated suite of apps makes this easy. Can create macros for specific games. Cons: I prefer a wired device, but this cord is a bit stiff, so it sometimes interferes with positioning.

This is why I deducted one star. Fun stuff: I have the color-changing app set to sound level meter, so the light pulses with the rhythm of the music I’m listening to as it cycles through colors. Said suite works on other Razer devices, too, so you can set and link the colors and other functions with them.

This mouse is about 3/4 of the original mouse it’s modeled after. Everything works as it is supposed to. It is light and easy to move over the desktop surface because of its special glide pads. The clicks are light and do not take much pressure to engage a click.

The mouse wheel has satisfying scroll and isn’t a free spinning type scroll wheel. The package came with textured stickers for the side of the mouse and the mouse buttons. The texture is enough to give you grip on the mouse’s otherwise slick surfaces.

The sticker grips are not intrusive or get in the way but add a good “feel” to holding and using the mouse. Razor also includes a nice logo sticker. The Razor symbol on the back of the mouse if RGB LED but gets covered by the palm of your hand.

You can use Razor’s software to have it set to one color or not install the software and it cycles through its color palette I am satisfied with my purchase and the feel of the mouse. I have long fingers and the mouse doesn’t cramp my hand at all.

Would I buy another one, yes.

I’ve used Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries, and several other mice over the years for both gaming and personal use. I was coming from a SteelSeries mouse that I’d used for about 7 years (I think?). It works alright but you have to use their wireless dongle to access a lot of the functionality which means you have to keep their software running all the time.

I bought a Razer Black Widow v3 as well so I had 2 razor devices that needed the software running. (you can read my review of that as well, but it’s not at all worth buying!) You can use it without all that, but that’s sort of why you buy these.

for the extra functionality and pretty lights. It feels okay and functions like it should. Nothing to write home about. Compare this to something like the Logitech Mx Master 3 and you’ll want the Logitech.

It feels heavier and like it’s made so much better. You don’t get as many extra “features” but the mouse feels much more premium.

Easy to use, plug & play ability. Just had to make minor speed adjustments in the Mouse settings on my Mac. Only complaint is the cord snags sometimes but that’s the pro of a wireless mouse over wired.

No true complaints though for the $17. 99 price. Looks amazing with the alternating colors.

Great gaming mouse for someone just now getting into the pc gaming. Sensitivity takes some getting used to but I will definitely be changing settings on it when I’m more accustomed to the mouse.

Let me start by saying that I’ve used a lot of gaming mice, like, over 50 of them. The Logitech g502 was always a quality mouse and tons of people love the thing just based on the design and overall quality of the mouse; That being said, there are a few things to consider if you’re thinking about getting this one in particular.

The Pros of this mouse are fairly straightforward, and are as follows: – Comfortable shape for most right handed people, but should be more comfortable for people with medium to large size hands. – Good build quality which easily places it in the same category as other ‘premium’ around this price point or even a bit higher.

– Scroll wheel: this is one of my personal favorite features of the mouse. Allows infinite scroll to get through annoying EULA pages quicker and also quickly raise or lower volume on YouTube or other video streaming sites, but without sacrificing the much needed precision of the standard mouse wheel steps.

Feels satisfying to use, but it is made of metal, which leads to a negative I’ll be mentioning later on. – Sensor: The Logitech Hero sensor has been tested numerous times and found to be roughly on par with the PMW3360 series sensors (including the 3366 on the original g502) while being advantageous for usage in wireless mice due to the lessened draw of power which allows for a longer battery life.

The Cons of this mouse make it hard to recommend to everyone, and are why I don’t usually recommend it as a first choice. -Weight: My god. This thing is one of the heaviest mice I’ve used for an extended period of time.

I don’t know exactly how much this weighs, but it feels pretty similar to the original, which I believe weighed in a little over 130 grams. Most gaming mice target a weight of 100g or LIGHTER, since lowering the weight of the mouse will make extended use easier and will allow for a greater degree of control.

– Not a truly “safe” shape, this may or may not matter to you, but I felt that it’s worth mentioning. Obviously this is a mouse for right handed people, and it may not necessarily be a great fit for you if your hands are very small (I have very small hands and cannot reach the sniper button at all, but the mouse is still comfortable).

I would say it’s a top tier mouse, but only if you can look past the weight. I would recommend that, as always, if you have the ability to do so, you should go to a local store and try some of the mice out to see which feels best to you, and make your decision after you have an idea what type of mouse shape you want.

I won’t recommend that you do or don’t buy a product, so I’ll leave it at that.

Pros: Clean, simple design. Great entry-level option for someone who doesn’t necessarily need an expensive mechanical keyboard, and a nice addition to your setup if you already have other Logitech peripherals.

Seamless integration into your setup with the Logitech G Hub, if you already have Logitech stuff. Otherwise it’s very easy to set up. Lighting effects and customisation is very good for a keyboard of this price.

Cons: Slightly overpriced in regular circumstances for an all-plastic, non-mechanical keyboard.

I came to the G502 from a Rapoo V900, and prior to that a Gigabyte Aivia Krypton mouse. I had had a long, solid experience with Logitech mice, but was ready for a change and Logitech were slow(er) than others to release a new slew of rodents based around the high-DPI laser sensor I enjoy.

While initially adjusting the grip position was slightly awkward, due to a wider ‘abdomen’ than on my previous mice – and buttons pitched further forward, I settled in after a couple of days’ worth of extended sessions and was soon praising the mouse for it’s excellent design.

I am a big fan of thumb glides, and the one on the 502 is just the right size and at just the right height to not induce fatigue due to excess pressure, but hold the thumb well and prevent slippage. The main buttons are huge and responsive, although I do find I need to inch my fingers forward just a teeny bit from ‘natural’ fall to get best response.

I can take or leave the shoulder buttons, the DPI adjust set are mushy and a bit light, the thumb ones require a little too precise locating initially, but work well after your hand adjusts to the positioning a bit more.

The wheel is good. It’s slightly weighted, ratchets well and free-wheels just as well as other Logitech mice. The weights are small enough to not reallymatter, and I’m not a huge fan of the magnetic latch to cover the weight bay – the ‘drawer’ arrangement on older Logitech rodents was more sturdy.

I picked up this mouse with a matching Logitech G-series cloth mat, and LGS has pre-defined profiles for cloth, hard and generic surfaces. While the ‘cloth’ profile worked well initially, I soon found the mouse skipping or dramatically losing sensitivity mid-game.

Switching away from the pre-baked Logitech profiles fixed this, and the mouse has tracked perfectly since. Your mileage may vary, of course. Overall despite the initial harsh looks and learning curve, the G502 has proven itself a sold performer and comfortable after the honeymoon period.

For the price, it is excellent value.

I’ve rarely done reviews, and honestly I really had to hand it to Razer for this product. I’ve been playing a lot of Final Fantasy XIV in the past three years, and my daily driver has always been a Logitech G600.

I even did some modifications to the cable, swapped out the skates, but the side buttons always wore out on me in the end. I wanted to cut the cord, so I went for a clone of that same mouse: the UtechSmart Venus Pro.

It cost a bit more than my first mouse, but it’s cheaper than most offerings at the >$50 price point. The buttons felt mushy and honestly the latency was sluggish at times. Then I saw this, the Razer Naga Pro.

I’ve always been a fan of their products, but the price put me off time and time again because when I first started getting into gaming, I never really understood why peripherals costs so much. from mousepads, to keyboards, to mice, etc.

But then I forgot that it’s just like any other hobby, nicer tools are more expensive. So I finally pulled the trigger after sitting on it for over a year, and I was not disappointed. It’s just so smooth and precise to anything I’ve ever used in my life, and the MMO side buttons feel great.

I have heard that Nagas were prone to double clicking, but I hope in good faith that Razer’s improved their design since then. As for now, I’m impressed as it is, and I’ll do my best to take care of it in the hopes that I can have it lasting for a couple of years as I play through my games.

The Razer Synapse App isn’t too invasive either, it gets straight to the point so you can tinker to your heart’s content. At this point, I really do have to give it to the Naga Pro. I know that Logitech has their G604 Lightspeed mouse, but they got rid of the twelve-button layout for a six button layout instead.

The ability to swap side plates is such a neat addition as well. I just wished they sold the plates separately because that alone will improve the longevity of the product. The only other thing is lacking now is swappable omron switches, and that would make it one of the best mice out there pound for pound.

So far I am really impressed with the mouse itself. I have tried almost every MMO mouse there is from red dragon, logitech, corsair, etc. The corsair was my favorite but had a very short life span. That was fine when it was $30 but now that it’s around 70-80 it starts adding up.

The red dragon side buttons are far too stiff and it just feels extremely cheap. The logitech G600, although inexpensive, is extremely uncomfortable. I found myself always shifting my hand to get the right grip and could never find it.

At this point I figured despite the many negative reviews across many sites, I would try the new Razer Naga. The ergonomics are borderline perfect. The side button pressed are nice clicky medium. Just enough resistance to prevent misclicks and no more.

The wireless feature is nice and there are no noticeable latency issues even in shooter games. Now for the problem. After reading reviews on every site that sells the thing, I found a very large amount of negative reviews mentioning a problem where the right click registers multiple times for one press.

I decided to buy the mouse but made sure to get the warranty along with it. Sure enough, two weeks in I started getting multiple right mouse clicks with a single press. For shooter games and MOBAs, this is a death sentence.

Fortunately with 5 minutes of skimming through forums I found the issue. Somehow your Razer synapse account can become corrupted and cause this issue while the program is running. The two fixes are to make a new account until that one becomes corrupted or just close synapse entirely.

Settings are saved onto the mouse itself so you still have your DPI and hotkey settings, you just won’t be able to change them unless you open synapse again. I really don’t mind not having synapse open as I just swap between the same 2 profile settings, so for me this problem is negligible.

In Summary I am very pleased with the performance of the Razer Naga Pro. It is expensive but so far worth the investment. However, like with any premium gaming peripheral, I recommend forking over a little extra for an extended warranty.

I’ll update if there are any major changes.

Razer has been on fire with mouse releases in the recent year or so, all of their releases since the Viper line I would consider in the top tier of gaming mice regardless of preference(I own most of them.

) I will also give props to Razer for somewhat acknowledging and fixing problems that have plagued their past mice, optical switches fixes and ensures the double click issue that was essentially synonymous with Razer itself will not happen again.

While its quite a step down in terms of features and lighting compared to the Naga Pro or the Naga Trinity, the Naga X simply excels in the area that matters most to me and a lot of people, it’s weight.

The exclusion of swap-able side panels may seem like a downgrade to some, but being someone that has had a Naga Trinity since it came out, the 12 button side panel was literally the only one I had ever used so the loss is meaningless to me.

It’s a little baffling of the exclusion of lighting on the palm logo, I understand from a design point that your palm will be covering it 100% of the time on a mouse like this, but I use more than one mouse and like my pretty dopamine lights, not to mention this thing is $80 which is by no means budget.

Speaking of exclusions, the scroll wheel tilt, and a single DPI button. Razer, what are you doing? On a mouse designed to offer the most remappable buttons possible you’re just gonna go and remove the side tilting scroll wheel.

Less RGB is one thing, removing a function that I, and likely many others have gotten used to and expect on our “most customizable mouse” to be there and customizable. Again, this mouse is $80, that is $20 less than the Naga Trinity retail price which has this feature, and this mouse does not have the Trinity’s swapable plates.

Also whoever made the big brain decision to take out one of the DPI buttons but leave enough space that that could clearly fit one needs to be fired, I repeat, this is an $80 mouse and I’m not even holding the exclusion of any injection molded rubber grip on the side instead of the bumpy textured plastic they cheaply chose to run with on their premium $80 mouse.

So what’s good about this $80 mouse that feels like from an objective view Razer designed it to be sold for $40 like a viper mini with all these cut features? One word friend, the weight. If the lack of features and Razer being Razer is -2 stars, the weight improvement is a solid +1 star to that bringing my review to 4 stars.

To me at least, an MMO mouse needs to be able to achieve fast and accurate clicks for precision item, camera and targeting, and interface navigation, I personally find heavy mice to be a bit on the fatiguing side mostly in my wrist when using them for long hours at a time, you can obviously balance this out by changing surfaces and playing at a higher DPI, but changes to what I’m accustomed to result in misclicks and mistakes.

The weight of this mouse makes all other MMO mice I have feel light bricks, quite literally. It is almost nearly half the weight of the Naga Trinity and it is a difference you can feel! If you can live without the tilting scroll wheel and a missing DPI button, this mouse is a 100% personal recommend from me.

The weight alone makes this mouse comfortable enough for everyday use and not just MMO’s that I’d even be happy to rock it 24/7 on my setup if it was the only mouse I had. For the best experience however, I would recommend pairing this with Viper/GPro, the improved weight makes it actually pretty easy to just swap between them as needed.

If you need a mouse that simply does it all regardless of weight however I would consider the Naga Pro or Naga Trinity, the extra cost of them will save you some in the long run on another mouse due to just how versatile they are.

I picked this mouse up to compare it with a recently purchased HyperX Pulsefire Haste. A friend of mine recommended the Model O but I decided on this one due to it’s more ergonomic design as I have big hands.

This is a great mouse, super fast and accurate and the cord is phenomenal. It looks great too, with the led lights that are nice and bright (you can adjust brightness in the app). What I dislike about it is the following: 1) there is a bit of play on the M1 button that, to me, is noticeable enough to bother me.

2) Creaking. The side where my thumb rests creaks and flexes under a small amount of pressure. Initially I didn’t mind it and figured I wouldn’t notice it in the heat of battle, but the more I use the mouse, the more noticeable the flex and creaking becomes.

3) I have reached out to customer service a few weeks ago and have not received a reply, so that’s a minus for customer service. Overall at this price point it is a pretty good mouse, but if minor things like play in the buttons, flex and creaking in the body get on your nerves, look elsewhere.

The HyperX in comparison has a much sturdier build and very nice switches, but it’s not as ergonomic as the Model D due to its ambidextrous housing design and has a minimalist led lighting setup.

I recently picked up this mouse from Micro Center, and could not be happier with my purchase. I have only had this mouse for a few weeks at this point, so things could change in the future, but I will list the pros and cons that I have found so far.

Pros: -Excellent cable, could barely tell a difference between this and my wireless mouse -lightweight, not the lightest mouse on the market but definitely does not weigh much. -Great buttons, crisp and with very short travel -RGB -very good mouse feet Cons: -Having a honeycomb shell, dust is able to make it’s way inside the mouse.

This shouldn’t be a big deal as dust can be blown away with compressed air, but this is something to note -Scroll click has a strong spring, and the mouse wheel rolls easily. The result is my finger will occasionally roll down the scroll wheel instead of pressing the scroll button.

This is something that will probably resolve itself over time though, so not a big deal.

I originally got this mouse as something to try that was different from what I was used to (Logitech G Pro Hero). The sensor is solid, the cable is actually really good, the feet were nice and smooth during use, the buttons were responsive, the scroll wheel was pleasant with the right amount of stiffness, and the weight was actually nicer than I thought it was going to be.

The build quality is decent, but not the greatest as you can get some creaking if you squeeze it in the right places. Not a dealbreaker. The software works well enough and I like that the software isn’t necessary to keep it installed in order to use the mouse as you want.

Ultimately the shape wasn’t for me. I gave it to my wife as she seemed to like the shape and it’s been her main ever since. If the shape works for you it’s a hard mouse to go wrong with.

For reference, I bought this mouse primarily for using 3D modeling software and secondarily gaming. The reason I was buying a mouse is because I work in 3D modeling software and I use a laptop (it only has a mousepad and it was hurting my wrist doing fine-detail movements for hours on end).

This mouse fits my hand very well, it is very form fitting, and the buttons are convenient and functional. It is very intuitive for what I use it for, the different sensitivity options make hand-eye coordinating with the curser (which is very important for what I do) very accurate as well as having the number keys near my thumb (I cycle through the 1-2-3 keys nearly constantly).

The RGB is cool, it slowly changes color and I think it looks pretty cool. It has a sleek and sharp profile that keeps up with its aesthetics. I can’t quite think of anything I would change about it, it suites my use for it very well.

Maybe those who use it more for different types of games would have better criticisms. I waited a while to review this to see if it would wear out quickly, and it works great 2 months later. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and I would recommend this mouse to anyone who needs a “budget” mouse with maximum functionality.

It looks nice, a lot of effort was put into it’s looks and into over the top packaging. But it completely missed the mark on what it’s job was meant to be. And that is to be a gaming mouse. 1. It’s to wide, uncomfortable to say the least, it’s impossible to ” pick up” as any gamer knows you have to pick up and adjust the mouse in a game.

Corsair offers a lift adjustment in their software as they know this very well, Reddragon does not. Instead Reddragon offers weights that are not center leveled and cause a tilting issue because the mouse is impossible to grip.

The software is easy and require little learning curve, it has that over Corsair. Still the game is most important so this is shelved and I just got a new Corsair Schimitar.

First of all, it is a fairly large mouse and happens to fit my hand perfectly. It comes in a translucent black polypropylene box with an instruction leaflet, and a box with a set of weights that help fine-tune the feel of the mouse.

The most distinguishing feature – the keypad, could use some improvements in tactile feedback as it uses metal membrane keys that are a tad too shallow for my taste. M1 and M2 use Huano Blue microswitches which aren’t my favorite but I plan on replacing them.

The software offers a fair amount of configuration and is downloadable from the official site. Five profiles are available and can only be cycled forward. All keys on the mouse can be remapped, including the scrolling action.

Such abundance of keys allows you to have the entire keyboard on your mouse along with a numpad, which is convenient, but the forward-only cycle is rather limiting. The config software open without the mouse plugged in so one can have a look at the range of options before deciding on a purchase.

Lighting configuration offers seven colours, three brightness levels and eight functions. The DPI range is a substantial 200-12400 with increments of 100 and can be assigned five presets per profile which can be cycled up or down if keys are assigned for this purpose.

Macros can be recorded and accept a maximal length of 99999ms per individual action. If the manufacturer could issue a small update for the software that adds the option to switch to specific profiles I’ll happily upgrade this to 5/5.

I bought the new MX master mouse the MX master 3 about a week ago, and it was an upgrade from the old MX master 2. Ive always thought the MX range is one of the best that you can get. Overall the 3 looks similar to the 2, however, there are changes that I appreciate.

First is the inclusion of USB C to charge the mouse. Second is the back and forward button placement for the thumb, version had these odd awkward layout. Third is the soft material, and also the weight of the mouse.

I did quick comparison of the feel of the mouse and although the old version was quite worn version 3 felt so much better to use. Finally, the scroll wheel has also had an upgrade and it’s awesome – both from the feel and also how it transitions from tactile to fluid scroll.

The reason why I ended purchasing and upgrading to version 3 was because version 2 started jittering, I’m not sure if the mouse was faulty etc. But it gave me a reason to upgrade. I run multiple computers, Mac, windows, and Linux – and I use a single keyboard, monitor and speakers, and ofcourse a mouse.

The mouse allow you to change device (upto 3) using Bluetooth. However, I use the dongle instead and KVM switch. This way I don’t have to adjust the mouse, the keyboard individually. I hope one day Logitech brings out a KVM that’s good quality like the mouse.

The mouse also has a companion app, I haven’t spent too much time in it. I believe you can customise button behavior based on the app you’re using but I’m not using those features. I have an Elgato stream deck that i use for that type of feature, but I’d imagine it would be cool to use.

When you get the mouse out of the box it’s as simple as plugging the dongle into a USB port, and in windows it automatically popped up asking whether to download the companion software. The mouse, compared to other mouse, has a good ergonomic feel.

I’m, at the moment, using my computer for 15hrs between work and personal, and having a good ergonomic setup is essential – which this mouse has. I haven’t felt any strain on my hands from using it – I do however use a large / oversized mouse pad to ensure I don’t have friction using the mouse, to preserve the mouse, and make sure I’m not limited by space on the desk.

This is a test of the form and function of the form and function of the Logitech Ergo K860 keyboard and MX Master 3S mouse. It’s actually really intuitive once you retrain hand proglamation and conditioning.

However if you ever took a keyboarding class the keystrokes are per defined location on the muscle memory. The entire time it took for me to get comfortable just screen typing was about 4mins and 23 seconds once I had it plug and play stick installed.

There is some stagnation from bad habits of poor keyboard controls in the past but I am progressively improving as I use this keyboard in the dark without overhead or backlit keys. I do find however that the lock key and is uncomfortably common to press… having just pressed it 5 times in the session as I reached for my mouse.

I however will say my pros outweigh the cons and its more a personal test space issue. I do enjoy this keyboard… if only it was made in a mechanical format… its to quite in personal opinion but I find the travel and return to be quite effective.

The overall desires of nit picking is more my historical use to a flat board and gaming boards but I thing even this board could be very well adapted to a gaming community format. The mouse is comfortable to grip and very customizable but again a form factor I will need to adjust to.

The paring of the two devices is actually very nice and the two should be combined in a Business Pack.

Bought this mouse after reading amazing reviews online. Wanted something I can use for both my work laptop and my personal desktop PC while working from home. The mouse feels good in the hand and is a nice size for my larger hand.

The buttons are excellent and the software is good. The main issue I have with this mouse is a major paint point. The scroll wheel is just the worst I’ve ever used in a Logitech mouse. I current use the G502 Lightspeed on my gaming PC and M705 and MX Anywhere 2S with my other computers – so I have a lot of current experience with Logitech products in addition to using them for the past 20+ years.

I tried to connect it to my computers via Bluetooth and the Logitech Unifying Adapter, both resulted in the same scroll issues. Whenever I scrolled up (rolling the scroll wheel away from me) it would not register movement consistently, resulting in stuttering, lagging and stop/go behaviour.

This is incredibly frustrating in Excel or long Word documents where I need to be quick and accurate navigating. I searched for this issue online and discovered it’s fairly common problem to have with this mouse.

Kind of like an unlucky lottery to get a scroll wheel that doesn’t work properly. Anyways, I’m turned off this product after spending such a premium on it but getting performance worse than a mouse a quarter of the price.

I’ve used the MX Master 3 mouse for a little over two years. *** PROS: The ergonomics work well for my hands. The top scroll wheel is super fast and easy to control. It’s nice to have a the horizontal scroll wheel, as well, for certain uses.

The mouse glides smoothly on various surfaces and is very accurate for screen navigation *** CONS: The rubberized coating has become very STICKY & TACKY (unpleasant). The issue happens with mice and other products that use such a rubberized coating.

Once the coating starts to break down and becomes overall sticky, it’s hard to remediate it. Cleaning it may help, but for many users, it’s a very temporary respite and the problem soon returns (my situation).

The rubberized coating may break down soon as in within a few months or a year or more later (which would put it outside of the 1-yr warranty period rather conveniently for Logitech). Logitech support has been a real hassle to deal with.

The problem has been specifically reported online by others about the MX Master 3, e. g. , search Reddit for “Logitech MX Master 3 Sticky” – you’ll see what I mean. Logitech support has also piped up on that forum with the usual let’s open a ticket thing.

Manufacturers should have long ago stopped using this kind of cheap rubberized coating. This sticky mess is a deal breaker for me and the MX Master 3. Other Cons: The back and forward buttons on the thumb side could usefully be a bit bigger, and are too far back making it harder to use them.

The newer Options+ software creates, in my testing of it, a weird disruptive haptic vibration feedback TO THE MOUSE on one of my computers under certain conditions (fully updated Win10), e. g. , keyboard shortcuts and clicking on certain screen icons causes the mouse to distractingly vibrate! This haptic strangeness happens when the scroll wheel is switched into line-by-line mode.

My recommendation? Primarily because of the sticky rubber coating glitch, you may want to consider other products, especially those without rubberized coatings, and from a company that will stand behind their products.

My opinion is that Logitech should recall the mouse for users that encounter the Sticky Problem. PS – Logitech will try to offer a small discount instead for the user to buy something else from the Logi website.

This allows them to break even or better. The overarching problem, though, is that the mouse becomes less usable due to an avoidable manufacturer defect, and not much, if at all, from normal wear and tear.

I’ve been using the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse for about 5 months now. I really like it. It’s a nice ergonomic shape and I think it really helped me with my wrist pain I was experiencing from WFH. I was spending 12+ hours a day at the computer for work.

I use it purely for working; it does have adjustable DPI settings (software side; no toggle on the mouse itself) but nothing sensitive enough to do any flick wrist type movements for some games, but you can use it for casual games no problem.

It’s one of the heaviest mice I’ve used so def not suited to game competitively with. It comes with a USB for wireless connectivity, but the mouse also has a button on the underside to toggle for up to 3 device connections; the other 2 paths are bluetooth and they’re relatively easy to set up.

I keep the USB dongle attached to my work laptop so I always use that option but if I’m at home and want to use it on my personal computer or personal laptop I can just connect once then switch connections whenever I need and it takes like 2 seconds.

I WFH 2x a week and actually bring the whole mouse with me back and forth between my house and the office. It’s a large mouse though and does not fit well in a laptop bag, I have better luck with a backpack, but even though it’s a huge mouse and doesn’t store well.

The mouse charges USB-C and can use any cable. The battery life is stupid long (like hundreds of hours on 1 charge) My biggest issues with it honestly are the price – it’s over $100. I got mine on sale I think, but it’s still a lot to justify on a mouse.

Wouldn’t call it worth the price because I don’t think any mouse is worth that price, but if you need a mouse for everything productivity related and maybe bounce between devices at office and home office like I do, then it may be worth it.

Another issue I have with it is that it doesn’t come with a USB storage on the mouse itself so it can be pretty easy to just lose the USB dongle. That being said, the mouse can connect to 2 other devices via bluetooth so that’s always a connection option if you forget the USB dongle.

This mouse was OK for the majority of the time I was using it. There were times where it had issues with connection and took a little while to resolve, annoying, but manageable. Out of the blue, however, it just died, no input registry whatsoever.

The sensor on the inside will light up, but will not register any input (clicking, moving). I initially thought it was out of battery and connected it to my computer so I could continue what I was doing, but it wouldn’t come back.

After an hour of futile attempts to get it working again, I was at a loss. Now I’m stuck with junk because I was unable to purchase the extended warranty with it, as they didn’t offer it. If you are looking for mouse that can hold you through a significant amount of time, look elsewhere.

I’ve had just about every Razer mouse they’ve released. Mamba and most recently the 2. 0 version of DeathAdder. This Pro-Click has really great battery life. I charge a couple times per week, but probably could get by with just one.

Ergonomically, this is way better for my hand than my previous favorite the DeathAdder. Finish is kind of a shiny/matte plastic and still looks as good as the first day I received it. For me, this competes and beats the MX Master series from Logitech.

A great compromise between ergonomics of the Logitech productivity mice and the gaming stuff from Razer.

I was hesitant at first, but with the help of one of the salesmen decided to try this mouse out. It has a high polling rate which is nice on my 144hz monitor. Battery life is great. No RGB’s to drain the battery.

Charging is quick, tho I do wish it was USB-C charging instead of micro-usb but that’s alright I guess. I’ve only charged it once since I bought it, and I’ve used it for gaming quite a bit. Overall, great mouse, would recommend.

I would never recommend another razer mouse again. I’ve bought several because I like the simplicity of the design and feel in the hand but 2 out of 2 that I’ve bought ended up having the same problem.

While gaming the scroll wheel will be activated while left clicking (shooting in FPS games). Scroll wheel is traditionally and best used as a weapon swapped in games. What has ends up happening is when your in a fight left clicking to shoot it will end up swapping your weapon mid fight.

So instead of shooting your opponent you switch weapons and get killed while the switch weapon animation happens. It’s been a great mouse minus this issue and if you’re not gaming then fine. But if you use this as a gaming mouse as it is sold to you then I would rather take a baseball bat to the mouse and tell you to buy another brand.

Oh and PS. When I brought the issue up to their support they told me that I had to send them a video of the problem happening or they couldn’t issue a refund or replacement. Razer is dead to me and I highly recommend you save your self the frustration.

Pros: Functionally it works. The ergonomics of the mouse is okay. The lighting customization is nice but not anything you really need. Cons: The mouse wheel is kind of loud when it scrolls. While the mouse is comfortable to use it does feel kind of light and cheap.

DPI settings seem a bit too sparse. The low settings are too sluggish while bumping it up once speeds the cursor up too much though I suppose this could be remedied with PC settings. The following is just my experience and not exactly related to the build of the mouse but mine arrived damaged.

Plastic was peeling off the bottom of the mouse which made for rough gliding. Shipping also took longer than I expected though it did come from China. This might be a decent budget mouse without the defect I had but calling it Elite is a huge exaggeration on the part of Razer.

I’ve been using Razer mice for over a decade, and I have a masochist relationship with Razer. Razer has horrible build quality, but the mouses are very ergonomic and comfy. So despite all the crappy endurance issues, I keep returning because I’m a sucker for the Deathadder.

I usually get about 1 or 2 years of use out of a Razer mice before some sort of issue makes it unplayable. For the original and Chroma deathadders, it was a misclicking issue (>10% of all click attempts) with the scrollwheel or right mouse button.

This Deathadder Elite continues the same depressing trend. I begrudingly upgraded to this Razer Deatheradder Elite on 12/31/17 after my Chroma was doing the misclicking issue. Its been about a year and a half now, and there is an audible loose component inside of the mouse that makes the Deathadder rattle.

What the heck! Since its been over a year and the fact that Target isnt even considered an authorized reseller, the warranty will not help me. Since there hasnt been a model upgrade since the Deatheradder Elite and I can only assume that another Deatheradder Elite will just have the same issue after a year of use, I will try a different manufacturer.

I am an adult, I do not lash out, and I take care of my possessions and living area. This mouse has only been subjected to normal use. CAVEAT. EMPTOR. Pros: -Most ergonomic mouse I know -Improve mouse feet vs.

Chroma model -2 new button under mouse were a great addition -Very lightweight -No issues with the hardware components (sensor, cable, rgb LEDs, etc) Cons -BUILD QUALITY -Rubber textured pad on sides is weakly adhered.

Still sticky enough to stay on, but a little bit of force and you can “feel” the rubber pads start to physically slide around -Razer Synapse bloatware.

Well first off, it’s a decent looking mouse, with plenty of buttons and some basic customisation. But here’s what I really don’t like about it, the scroll wheel is awful. It’s so lose that it makes it hard to accurately switch weapons in game, it also constantly rattles and the whole mouse makes way too much noise when lifting and placing it down.

The gliders on the bottom are pretty average too and the mouse often feels like it’s gripping the pad too much. What I also don’t like about it is that as soon as one side of the mouse slightly lifts off the mousepad it stops tracking entirely and I’ve been having issues where it’ll randomly start tracking weirdly and make the camera go all over the place briefly.

Another issue I have with this mouse is it’s shape, I thought it’d be comfy and grippy but the right edge is just a flat bit of rubber that doesn’t feel tapered enough to get a comfortable grip on it, and the left side is covered in awkwardly placed buttons, the thumb rest is also rather awkward in my opinion.

The cable certainly isn’t really on par with other brands either. All round my impression of this mouse is that it’s overpriced, loud and too clunky for playing most competitive fps game. I bought it because of all the great reviews but honestly I am thoroughly disappointed.

This is just my honest review and I am genuinely baffled as to why people like this thing. If you’re considering buying this I’d urge you to look elsewhere because you can get much better mice for the similar prices.

I recently purchased another G502 for my girlfriend. I’ve personally been using a G502 for years and have no trouble recommending it. It’s been very durable, and even after heavy use, there’s been minimal general surface wear.

The scroll wheel has slightly lost its finish, but I don’t see this as a major issue. The shape is always a matter of personal preference, but I really like the 502’s form factor. The thumb shelf is something that I’ve become very accustom to, and left/right buttons are in a great position for someone with slightly longer fingers.

It’s pretty gimmicky, but I guess the customizable weight is a nice touch. The Logitech software is a little annoying to deal with, but it gets the job done. I’m far from a connoisseur, but the actual switches that are used for the left and right mouse buttons are very crisp, definitely some of the best out of those that I’ve tested.

Another awesome feature is the toggle-able infinity scroll. With one button, the scroll wheel “unlocks” from the normal tactile bumps and spins freely. This is great for spreadsheets or just getting to the bottom of a browser page quickly.

The epic gamer “sniper” button is a big gimmick that I never use, but I guess if you want the option to lower your DPI on the fly, it’s there. Finally, the actual sensor seems to be very high quality.

Again, not a connoisseur, but I have found the mouse to be very precise and responsive. Overall, for the price, I really think it’s hard to beat,.

The different settings/preselects is fine. You have everything from as slow as slug, all the way to a twitchy flicky movement. To access, you just press on the button below the scroll free/step button.

To modify some of them, you can press the buttons on the left mouse button, and it will increase or decrease the sensitivity. The right and left mouse buttons are pretty responsive with a satisfying click.

The buttons are programmable, and the back and forward button on the left side of the mouse work natively. Meaning easier to navigate the web. The Aim button is pretty decent, being able to quickly slow down the cursor and be able to pinpoint your shots.

Regardless of your DPI, it will bring it to a crawl and force it to one bar. My only dislike is the lighting honestly. I feel like it’s pretty lackluster, and would have been better to remove it entirely.

It’s only the G that lights up, and it does change colour depending on the DPI preset. Only way to adjust colour is through their app, and downloading one app to do all that and customization feels like it is too much.

If they had support for third party, I would greatly admire it for being able to match the colour scheme of my build and set up. For the price though and what you get out of it, I honestly can’t say too many bad things about it.

If you have an old mouse, and were looking to get something to replace, I would highly recommend this for the price.

The Razer Viper Ultimate is all around very good. It has a flat shape most suitable for claw or fingertip grip. Palm grip may be possible but only with smaller hands. The switches are okay. They don’t provide the good feedback from a mechanical switch but aren’t mushy or bad in any way.

Side buttons arent very good and are recessed in the side but aren’t too bad. Build quality is solid, scroll wheel is good, software is decent enough, and mouse skates are fine. All in all, this mouse is solid.

I would not recommend it for the normal price of 130 usd. However on the sale it is on which brings it down to 70 usd, it is absolutely the best mouse you can get for this price range. The sheer price performance ratio on this sale that will probably last a long time because the viper v2 pro exists is incredible.

Pros: great deal on sale, solid without any glaring issues, customizable, has a dock, great wireless performanceCons: coating could be more grippy, it could be lighter, switches aren’t the best feelingTo conclude, get this mouse on sale if your budget is between 60 and 100 dollars.

If you can spend more and want the absolute best, consider the Logitech g pro x superlight or the Razer viper v2 pro.

I really enjoyed this product I own the exclusive cyberpunk 2077 edition of the mouse with the dock and I gotta say it’s the best mouse I’ve ever used, the dps is insane and the switch on the bottom of the mouse makes it so easy to switch from different dps stages so you can be comfortable in any situation the side grind work perfect and the charging dock just syncs right with your mouse as soon as you put it on it.

The mound perfectly slides right onto the charging dock and has a very small magnetic field that holds the mouse to the dock. The power cable has a slot built into the charging doc perfect with a rail to make sure it goes in perfectly every time for a perfect connection and prevents any major damage and the same is included with the mouse itself if you don’t have the charging dock and need to charge via mouse itself or just want to go wired mouse.

The buttons are smooth and can be clicked very accurately and very fast. I was a little disappointed there is only one chroma light which is the razer logo but still it’s sick and the lighting is very bright and works wonderful and backed with a 2 year warranty you know you will get your moneys worth and if it breaks somehow before two years is up get a replacement.

But I’m sure imma have this mouse for more than 10 years. This is a great product and I’m very satisfied with my purchase especially with this custom mouse it just looks sick🤟 And this mouse lasts me around 45-70 hours even though is says 70+ hour battery life it’s felt like it’s dying a little faster for me I’ve never times it but it does last me around 2 days maybe two and a half then I have to recharge but ? It doesn’t feel like 70 hour battery life to me but don’t hold me on that I’ve never actually times the battery life on my mouse and obviously it’s gonna die faster depending on usage and I use mine a lot.

So that’s also something to consider but when I do charge it back up it charges from 0-100% within an hour that’s incredible and really satisfies me with my purchase as the item can withstand 50-70 hours of usage before being charged but charges to full with in one hour to be used again for another 50-70 hours? That’s a good mouse especially with all the other factors.

I expect it to not be as great or work as well in a few years maybe 5 years but still it will have lived it’s purpose and served it’s use it’s a great mouse and worth the money and I take good case of it every day so I’m sure this will last me me than 10 years.

Only this that saddens me is there are no transparent viper ultimate or mini viper tape grips only black. If they had transparent grips so I could still see the skin of my mouse and have that grip I’d invest in them but for now I won’t cause it takes to much away from the look and cosmetics of my mouse which is the main reason I bought that version of the viper ultimate.

If there was a transparent grip it would work great with my mouse and the cosmetics of my mouse and not to hide them. It glides accurately and tracks nice this product has not been out for 7-8 years.

Buy it for all the flashy features it provides that others don’t even have, don’t but it for the top quality. Sub $100 cheap mice have quality issues; expensive $100 ~ $200 mice have them too(talking about razer mice).

Adjust your expectations. The biggest mistake, was I bought two. One for me and one for my roommate as a surprize gift. Upon very exciting unboxing, we immediately noticed one mouse has a very noisy left click.

After a few minutes of testing, my roommate thanked my kindness and refused to accept the sole “good mouse” because “the scroll wheel is way too stiff” for him to use. I used the “good mouse” for a day but something felt off with the scroll wheel.

It is stiffer than I like, however I also noticed sometimes when I up-scroll, I get a different, higher pitch sound than expected. I then checked the “bad mouse”, it has a perfect, very consistent up scroll sound.

Some people online reported having this issue too. Both mice are ended up returned. They weren’t broken or defective, just quality control issues. I would be satisfied if I only bought one and had nothing to compare with.

Things really gone down hill quick when I had two identical items to compare:( —————————————————————————— I recommend this mouse to people who regularly spend money on peripherals.

This is a very likable mouse definitely worth to have in your collection. I don’t recommend it to people who can’t tolerate minor issues, or is attempted to jump on the razer viper ultimate hype train or is expecting to get the best, top end mouse by spend a lot on a single top tier item.

Pros: optical switches, low latency, light weight, easy to charge, easy to use software, universal and comfortable shape, soft cord etc. Cons: Feet are too small. Scroll wheel is very stiff, very hard to scroll or click.

Side buttons are on both left & right side means mis-click is the norm. No Type C charging. Lighting is either all time on or all time off, nothing in between(though it turns lights off when in sleep but i only want it to have the lights on to indicate power levels when charging, it just can’t).

Charging dock too light(When charging on the dock, the mouse is held on the dock by magnets. Every time when I take the mouse off the dock the dock “jumps” a little bit just because how light the dock is ).

This mouse is very similar to the g pro, I only have the superlight, The right sided buttons are hard to click as a right handed user since they are so inset. I dont really use them. as it causes me to change my grip.

No buttons other than the scroll wheel at the top and no tilt on scroll wheel. It is flatter than the superlight though. I am using this as palm grip [warm up mode] and will switch to g303 when i go claw [serious mode].

I believe viper v2 should be coming out very soon which is why these are discounted and included in bundles. This does not effect my decision. Only thing this is actually better than logitech is that you can macro the left click and right click and scroll wheel up and down [u cant in logitech devices].

Only reason to get razer peripherals, is that all buttons are remappable. [vs logitech]. I do like razer mics [but logitech owns blue mics now]. and the Tartarus pro. [no equivalent logitech game pad].

Would probably recommend a logitech as a main mouse and MAYBE a razer as a second piece.

Well built (as its by Razer) and has a long, durable looking cord. Also has several customizable features such as lighting of the Destiny Logo, programmable side keys, and custom sensitivity. Two keys behind the mouse wheel, which is also lighted, allow for on-the-fly adjustments to sensitivity.

Lastly, utilizes Razers software for mice to download driver updates, create custom profiles, and make all the custom adjustments. Nothing extra super fancy, but an awesome, lighted, sturdy, reliable and durable mouse none-the-less.

A must for hardcore Destiny Fans! Great buy!.

Had mine for a couple of weeks now. Upgraded from the old razer Deathadder Chroma. First thing you’ll notice is the clicks are very different. These ones seem more clicky if you will, and a bit more firm action is required.

You will not accidentally press these. Make no mistake though, it is very comfortable. The sensor is 100% accurate. Excellent mouse very recommended.

I was a Sensei Steel Series user for a couple of days. And then I switched to this little beast. Llet me say that it was my best decition. This mouse feels great at my hands, durable built, scroll wheell feels industrial and overall I feel that this mouse will last me a very long time.

I mostly use it for gaming, editting photos in Lightroom and creating projects in Photoshop. Currently using it on a Macbook Pro 2017 without any problems and the Razer Synapse app works perfectly.

I am happy. It feels solid and has a good size. I don’t need all the lights, but I guess they look cool.

Its really good quality and feels nice in the hand. Also its not to heavy and not to light. So overall nice budget gaming mouse

For this price you can’t say something negativ. Everything is good.

This mouse is fast. Not only is it very lightweight, clocking in at 71g, but the buttons feel very crisp with the gen2 switches, and it feels like an upgrade over my Viper Ultimate. Sure, this mouse is wired, and I’ve considered picking up a mouse bungee to manage the cable, which after a month of use still retains most of its shape, but the cable is braided, and for the most part I don’t see an issue.

There was a break-in period where the mouse feet had “sharp” edges against the mousepad, producing a scratchy and abrasive feeling on the first couple of uses. I’ve had issues running valorant if you do not set Raw Mouse Input Buffer(Beta) to on.

The RGB lighting is not visible depending on your grip and use. As an item on your desk between sessions, it’s noticeable, but if you palm your mouse, you will not be able to see it while playing. The mouse feet after the break-in period are smooth, and the sensor feels very accurate.

Every button feels very crisp and responsive. The scroll wheel is firm, but does have some texture. Personally I prefer scrollwheels with a free roll or locking switch, which this mouse does not have.

The cable is long enough to reach the computer, and the supporting Razer software is very good. The box itself Was very pleasing to open with Razer’s “NASA” packaging. It also comes with some very lucrative stickers with a nice reflective rainbow shimmer, denoting some of razer’s own branding.

For the price, it’s ok. There are other mice at this price range which might offer a better experience. For me, moving from the viper ultimate to the 8k, I wanted to explore what the 8k sensor could do for me.

I haven’t noticed much of a reason to purchase this mouse over a 1000hz polling rate mouse. Like I said, it is a bit gimicky. I am happy with this purchase, but the break-in period, and the potential need for a mouse bungee docks this product one star.

The shape is the regular viper shape, a rather low back hump, long and ambidextrous. I am personally not too fond of it but I’m sure that others will be. The coating is very average, not especially easy to grip but not slippery.

I would describe the coating as a plastic akin to a PBT keycap. The paracord on the mouse leaves a lot to be desired in an era of wireless mice and flexible paracords when the mouse is wired. The paracord is rather stiff and has the shoelace type of feeling to it, usable but not leading in any meaningful way.

Scroll wheel is nice, no problems there. Keep in mind that there is side buttons on both the left and right sides of the mouse so steer clear if that is something you want to avoid. Now as for the real reason most people will gravitate towards this mouse, its namesake 8KHz.

Can you feel the 8KHz? Yes, you can feel smoother tracking but a lot of systems will not be able to handle that report rate and in turn you will suffer noticeably lower frames in games. The mouse is fun and cool to mess around with but not necessarily a technology which will give you a huge competitive advantage.

If you are not already a fan of the Viper shape, look elsewhere and if you are you may enjoy this mouse as it is a pioneer among its peers. Will 8KHz become the future? We will see if wired mice are able to compete in a wireless mark and whether or not the wire justifies the extra poling rate.

This mouse i actually super well valued, coming from razer products who aren’t really well valued but still, ignore other reviews, this is my brutally honest opinion and it isn’t brutal for once. The mouse has the classic and super nice shape of the classic razer viper with the round hump, decent clicks and the rubber sides, like the other mice of the viper category (except the mini) they are ambidextrous, meaning however you hold the mouse, it’s the same shape and layout, even side buttons on each side! the comfort curves are absolutely just so nice to put your fingers on.

You might or not like the mouse depending of you have large or small hands and the type of grip, remember, shape is king when it comes to gaming. Let’s talk about the clicks, of course razer is still working on it but this mouse to be an absolute no latency monster, they added their optical switches and just a heads up, they don’t really feel like mechanical switches but they are quite good and responsive.

Now for the fun part, the sensor and software, the sensor is of course, super great because razer is quite super good in that category and the name of the mouse describes what they are going for and this means the polling rate of the mouse.

Of course, 8000hz is quite rare and new so DON’T EXPECT FOR IT TO WORK EVERYWHERE, it doesn’t work well on Roblox, Osu! and many other games but they are probably gonna fix this in later versions. The software is obviously Synapse 3 and of course the program might be a little confusing but it should be easy to understand by the layout, when you get on the mouse, there are 3 categories, customise is to customise and change the buttons and what they do, performance is where you can change your DPI and polling rate that goes from 125 to 8000hz, lighting to control the RGB that is located in the mouse and calibration to calibrate a certain surface for maximum performance.

Now for the common problems and fixes Game lags: lower your polling rate until fixed or your system isn’t powerful enough Mouse feels weird in game: lower polling rate until normal Mouse not working or isn’t detected on ryzen 5000 system: system problem, common problem on Ryzen 5000 systems.

Intro – I am a mouse/peripheral enthusiast and have tested many mice from different brands. I purchased this DeathAdder V2 because I have always enjoyed the shape from previous versions and wanted to see how the newest wired version stacks up.

I ended up having to return this mouse 3 times! I will go over the various categories first and lastly I will talk about the QC. Shape/Weight – I use relax claw and have 18. 5×9 hands now despite this being a larger mouse I was actually able to get a comfortable grip for claw and especially palm.

This is definitely a mouse suited for those who prefer palm grip though, so I’d look elsewhere if you claw grip. Weight is 82g and while not being one of the lightest on the market its still a good weight that most should be happy with.

7. 5/10 Sensor – This uses a Razer Focus+ sensor (PMW 3399) and its one of the best sensors on the market. It performs like a champ with absolutely no issues at all. Calibration can be a little weird with mousepads if you decide to get into that, I’d advise just leaving it on stock.

9/10 Buttons – I am not a fan of the main M1/M2 buttons. The Razer Optical Switches that are used feel mushy almost like I’m not pressing anything at times. The rest of the buttons are really good though especially the side buttons which feel very tactile and easy to find.

Scroll wheel is great too with nicely defined steps and the sound is consistent. 6/10 Cable – It’s an average paracord-like cable. Flexible and much better than any rubber cable you will find. You can put this in a bungee and basically forget about it.

8/10 Feet – The feet are great and glide smoothly with no inconsistency. They come very close to 3rd party offerings. 8. 5/10 QC – Here is why I can’t recommend this mouse. All 3 of my copies had bad QC which had to do with the main mouse buttons.

First copy had creaking on the left mouse button, the second copy had it on the right, and while the third copy was better the buttons still felt inconsistent which was a issue on all copies. Software – Razer Synapse is alright.

Has its issues which is to be expected, but it doesn’t ruin the mouse. You can control the DPI and lightning with it. Value – Often on sale it’s a good pickup if it didn’t have so many QC issues.

For the money, for 2x the money – I have not found a better mouse. ( I did get it on sale) I like it more than my Mamba Elite cordless that was on sale for $90 – 3 years ago and has double click issues.

THIS MOUSE has optical switches – NO double clicks will ever happen with this new type of sensor. Good for Large Hands – I feel its a bit to light weight – but I am used to a heavy wireless mouse. The light weight may grow on me.

The grip, the mid wheel, the buttons – Awesome feel. I do miss having the side to side buttons on the wheel though that the Mamba had – But I use this mouse, and the Mamba is now just a backup mouse.

This one – I just like it more. Tracking is just sick on any surface. I got it because of the optical switches. I just hate double clicks every mouse for the last 10 years I have ever owned has issues with after a year or 2.

I purchased 2, one for me, one for Dad. He loves it. Awesome feet/Skate pads, but I still scotch tape them for long term life. – Just replace tape every few days. Like ice – and with downy fabric softener – you can blow on it, and mouse will move.

I was looking for a mouse to play Minecraft on my PS4. The store had no bluetooth mice in stock and I saw this was on sale. I have the original DeathAdder mouse and have used nothing but it for the last nearly 10 years.

OG went to the PS4, V2 to the PC. This mouse is excellent just like the first one. The texture of the mouse is nice in your hands and doesn’t create an extremely sweaty grip. The addition of the DPI adjusting buttons on top comes in hands switching between different tasks.

The RGB is a nice addition to the green glow of the original. I can now match my other newer products. The cord is still long and has a nice sleeve on it that is durable, yet flexible. THE SIDE GRIPS AREN’T HELD ON WITH TAPE.

This is the most massive improvement upon the OG DeathAdder TLDR: This mouse is an improvement upon everything the original was. Buy it.

The ergonomics and technical customization are perfect to fit whatever need you have for whichever title(s) you play. I can switch my dpi to whatever number I set between 1-16000 at any-point during game-play or regular production usage.

RGB on this mouse is for the minimalist who don’t care about RGB but want some lighting to give it that ‘FUTURE’ look we all wanted growing up. And this is all handled through the custom built app designed by Logitech.

Scroll wheel has two physical modes, free spin; where it just spins continuously until friction or your finger stops it. And then normal flick spin that every standard mouse has. I don’t like the free-spin but it feel so smooth to scroll with at times, especially for those long posts.

Overall the mouse is perfect for your casual gamer and productive users, it’s a bit weighty so unless you have big hands I wouldn’t use this for full competitive e-sports training.

I bought this mouse primarily for FPS games. The sensor feels really good, buttons are clicky and we’ll positioned. Logitech software is nice for controlling features. Now it really isn’t the best mouse for FPS games.

It is a bit heavier than I expected and you can see that when playing. The grip is nice tho, I just wish it was lighter.

My version came right-handed (not ambidextrous, which is fine) but could be a problem for left handed people, but overall. Definitely comfortable. The claim on Logitechs website about 11 programmable buttons should be gotten rid of because by default those buttons are used for general use (left click, right click) or to control the sensitivity of the mouse.
