There are a few schools of thought when it comes to draft strategy for the 9th pick. Some people believe that you should always take the best player available, regardless of position. Others believe that you should draft for need, especially if there is a glaring hole on your team.
Still others believe that you should always take the best player available, but if there is a player at a position of need that is close in terms of talent, you should go with that player.
It really depends on the team’s needs and the players that are available. Ultimately, it is up to the team’s front office to make the decision on who to draft.

If you like opening packs and collecting cards this set is fantastic. Lots of good reprints of MTG staples, lots of commander staples, modern, and pauper stuff! I don’t know if its “durable?” but my products all arrived fine but were shipped well.
You won’t be able to get away with throwing them in a padded mailer and shipping them. They definitely need to be shipped within a double walled box.
Great box, always fun cracking these open. The box topper slipped down towards the front of the box unfortunately and slightly bent the cards since they were sitting in the corner, but other than that they were good.

The intense nostalgia from doing the one thing I couldn’t do/afford as a child: opening an entire box of cards. Feels good man. Even got some good rare and mythic cards in here as well! I hate not supporting my local game shop, but you can’t compete with MULTIPLE, HUNDREDS of dollars difference in pricing.
My wife and I enjoyed the box opening. It’s always a great experience but there were a couple things than were unsatisfactory. First thing THERE WAS NO BUY A BOX PROMO IN THE BOX! We were fully expecting one but there was nothing there.
Super disappointing. 2nd we opened a foil jeweled lotus and the top of it has square corners. We found a few others like that too. Where is the quality control WOTC?.

There are a few things to consider when drafting in the 9th spot. One is the distribution of talent in the draft. Generally speaking, the further back you draft, the less talent will be available. That’s why it’s important to have a clear understanding of who the best players are in the draft.
Another thing to consider is the needs of your team. Obviously, you want to draft the best player available, but you also want to make sure you’re filling a need on your team. For example, if you’re drafting in the 9th spot and you need a quarterback, you may want to reach a little bit and take the best quarterback available.
Finally, you need to be aware of the other teams in your league and what they’re looking for. If you’re in a league with 12 teams and there are only two quarterbacks available, they’re going to go early.
As a result, you may want to focus on other positions in the early rounds and then come back and draft a quarterback in the later rounds.
In conclusion, the 9th pick is a tough spot to draft in, but if you do your homework and know who the best players are, you can still get a good player. Just be sure to consider the needs of your team and the other teams in your league when making your selection.
