Ideal for backpacking as it is lightweight. The zipper is very smooth. make sure you do use the velco by the zipper or it will come undone with movement. I did sleep in it in my home to test. the insulation did keep us toasty(I keep my house at 63 to 65 in winter with 2 fans blowing on us.

So my room usually runs around 55. The pillows are great for making into cat beds but not much else. Now for the reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. You can’t wash it and you can’t store it in the bag it came in.

You can spot clean it but washing machines that are top load with an agitator is not recommended. A full wash only if absolutely necessary otherwise storing it or washing can and will ruin your bag. Huge downfall so loss of stars for that bc I need to purchase a large mesh bag to store loosely.

At first, I was excited to see how lightweight the bag was. However, when it came down to actually using it. we froze!!! It is NOT water proof, our tent leaked and we learned the hard way. Even my husband, who enjoys cold temperatures froze in this cheap, poorly constructed trash bag.

Great for children! I picked up the Teton Sports Celsius Junior Sleeping Bag for my daughters for camping trips. They are nowhere near the height of the bag, so there’s plenty of room for growth. This bag is well-designed for children of all temperature ratings too – thanks to the full-length zipper.

I found that to better ventilate my child’s sleep temperature, I can zip open the foot-end of the bag without undoing the entire bag, leaving their torsos better insulated, while offering the body some needed leg-room and temperature control.

A Pro: Zipper has a draft collar, to protect the warm air from escaping through the zipper. Also, the zipper can be tucked and batted down with the velcro embroidered flap reading the temperature rating of the bag, to help reduce noise.

Pro: The head portion of the bag has a “collar” to help block wind onto the back of the head, and offers to detain the pillow from falling out of the bag. A Con: The zipper stops at the “floor” of the bag.

If this zipper were to continue along the bottom of the bag across from “right hand side” to the “left hand side”, and offer the transformation from sleeping bag to quilt – it would make this bag a game-changer for hammock camping.

Con: That pillow-collar can add unecessary “bulge” to the pillow chosen – increasing the angle of the pillow on the back of the head – ultimately, if the pillow is shaped different to the shape of the Celsius Jr.

bag, your neck will be at an increased angle, you’ll rest the pillow outside of the bag too, potentially adding to discomfort. But it’s not terribly overstuffed, so, you lay on it?, you lay on it. I’m happy enough with it.

I’d recommend this to other parents, starting out on camping with <10 year olds. It does make me curious what else Teton Sports has to offer for hammock camping and insulation.

My wife and I purchased this sleeping bag about 3 weeks ago for our trip to Big Bend National Park, and we couldn’t be happier with its performance! This bag has plenty of room for two people and the height of the bag was perfect.

I’m 6’1” and my wife is 5’5”. The bag didn’t swallow her up and I also didn’t feel even the slightest bit claustrophobic. They really nailed both the length and width on this bag. The temperatures were uncharacteristically cold during our visit to Big Bend, with temperatures dropping into the mid to lower 30s (Fahrenheit) each night.

We stayed plenty cozy with this bag. My wife is cold-blooded. She literally is just physically cold all of the time, and this bag kept her nice and toasty. I, however, did have to strip down to just my underwear in order to keep from getting too hot, but that really boils down to each individual.

Also, keep in mind that we were using our Exped duo sleeping mat underneath this bag, and it has a pretty high R-value. I’m certain that it contributed to our comfort level as far as temperature is concerned as well.

The overall quality of this bag is also excellent. The zippers on both sides function just as they should from both inside and outside of the bag. The material on the inside is soft and warms up quickly once you’re tucked inside.

Overall, we are extremely pleased with this Teton sleeping bag, and we look to enjoy tent-camping with it for many years to come. One additional note: I saw a couple of slightly negative reviews about getting this sleeping bag to fit back into its storage bag.

We had no such issue. I’m assuming those folks might have been attempting to roll it up and trying to stuff it into the sack. This won’t work, but if you simply start from the bottom and keep stuffing it down with the compression straps loosened, you’ll be just fine.

I looked pretty hard for a good, heavy duty, canvas bag. I wanted something that was built tough, would be durable, and warm. After getting frustrated with online shopping and the inability to put my hands on a bag I just bought this one from Sportsmans.

I purchased the 0 degree bag thinking it would suit me fine for a hunt that would see lows in the upper teens to low 20’s. First night in the bag, with a heavy blanket over the top of me, I got a little cold.

It wasnt unbearable but cold enough to wake me up a few times. The next several nights, I added one more blanket and i kept the wood stove in the canvas tent stoked a few times through the night and I was comfortable.

The last night in the bag dipped down to 9 degrees. Even with the two blankets on top, the stove stoked, I got cold again. I would exchange this for a -20 bag if I were to do it again. Overall, the bag was comfortable for the most part, no issues with the construction.

The combination of the liner fabric, the canvas, and the insulating material made it kind of “slippery” when in the bag and the liner would move a little more than I liked. Not sure if there are companies out there making the quality of bag I am in search of.

I always stay warm in my Big Agnes mummy but I just dont sleep well in mummy bags because my tendency to stretch out.

My girlfriend and I were both very comfortable in this sleeping bag on a multi-night camping trip. It was warm enough for her and plenty warm enough for me. The zippers along was side as a smart design feature that allowed either of us to get in and out with less disruption to the other sleeping.

The slip for the matching double V mattress pad was useful to ensure the bag stayed on the pad. I was less a fan of the pad but this review is about the sleeping bag itself and it absolutely met expectations.

I’ve never had a hard time repacking a sleeping bag. But with the size and material on this one I found myself stuffing it into the bag near the end.

Where to begin?! My girlfriend and I have been using the insulated double V pad for a few years now with rave reviews every time we wake up. No waterbed effect, very warm, perfect width for both of us to toss and turn a bit, and about the same weight and size as a pair of moderately priced insulated sleeping pads.

Now onto the bag. We actually ordered all three versions of the klymit double sleeping bag. The full synthetic which was HUGE but extremely comfortable (best for car camping and sleep-overs), the full down which was very light but left a few cold spots and loose feathers (best for more intense backpackers), and this goldilocks version which was right in between the two for packed size, loft and comfort, and warmth.

This bag kept us warm with only underwear and socks on at 11,000-feet in 38 degree dry weather. It fit our double mattress perfectly so it didn’t slide around between us, the extra collar flaps were super lofty and soft, and the button feature kept the hood around our over arm sleeping and eyes during the few times we wanted to sleep in passed sunrise.

We always brag about our setup to friends! The mattress and bag fit perfectly in the bottom of my 65L pack and when set up take the width of our 2-person tent without bulging the bathtub bottom and leaves about 6 inches at the head or feet for a host of smaller items.

We finally took the plunge and bought a double sleeping bag. After hunting around, we decided on this one as it was a combination of down on top and synthetic on the bottom. We used it for the first time last week.

The weather was at the two extremes – one night was 15C at night (in the mountains- which is quite warm), and the other night, after a hail storm, was probably closer to 5C. Both nights were very comfortable.

I loved not having a tug-of-war with my partner for the covers (which is what we did last year). Initially it seems ‘light’, but it really is warm on the cool nights, and cool enough on thee warm nights.

Well worth the investment!.

This is my favorite warm weather sleeping bag. The liner is so soft and cozy and it’s nice and roomy for my husband and I. It’s nice that it comes with the two small pillows. They are pretty small, but there have been times we’ve forgotten our regular pillows and it was nice to have these.

Cozy is the perfect word to describe this bag! Loved the feel and the roominess. With two people is gets warm which is nice in colder climates. It’s also nice with the zippers when it’s getting too warm!.

I LOVE this sleeping bag. I normally don’t have the best experiences while camping, but this sleeping bag has made me want to camp more. I stayed warm, the bag was very soft, the extra pillows it came with were nice, and best of all I was able to cuddle with my husband all night long! I bought this bad to replace a mummy bag that just isn’t something I can use. We recently spent a week in Yellowstone and this bag was awesome! Despite a horrible rain storm that made everything damp, I slept incredibly dry and comfortable and most important Warm! I have some back issues and if I get chilled my spine seizes up and goes out of alignment.

( last time it took 8 months to put things back) this bag preformed great! East in and out (unlike mummy bags) and warm despite the dampness. The temps overnight skirted the edges of its temp range, but it was 100% ! Anyone that has issues with mummy bags, this bag is amazing! I never felt closed in and was as comfy as sleeping in my bed.

(A good mattress pad helps too) I would happily purchase this bag again and Moosejaw was awesome about getting it to me quickly and at a great price!.

I love it! I tried mummy style but felt like my legs were trapped, I definitely prefer rectangular bags. If I could change anything though, I’d get rid of the weird short zipper opposite the one that goes around the outside of the bag, so it can be used more like a blanket without accidentally scratching your chin.

The bag is well made, and seems both durable and lightweight. Haven’t tried it yet but it’s definitely warm enough for summer camping, or even 3 season with a liner.

Very cozy bag. Me and my girlfriend split the cost so we could have something cozy for our car camping trips. Would be nice in the back country hypothetically, but wayyyyy to heavy to be practical. We got the regular/right hand and if you were looking for some real world reference to size, it’s the size of a queen size bed.

However I do feel like it’s graded for a lower temperature than it should be, I would put it at a 30°/35° degree rating myself. I know for a fact two people would be freezing in this in a tent with outdoor temps of 20° unless they expect you to get the heat from the other person or a whole lotta layers.

Overall a good purchase with lovely little details and looking forward to getting more use out of it in the future. 🤙🏼.

If I hadn’t had a nice dividend to spend it would have been hard for me to pull the trigger on spending this much money on a quilt but it has been absolutely amazing. I’ve taken it car camping and backpacking and both tent and hammock camping.

I’ve used it in a temperature range with low from as high as high 50s to as low as 20 degrees F and have been warm with each use. The quilt comes with a little compression sack and a storage sack. The size of the compression sack is really nice for backpacking as it takes up even less space then my old trusty Sub-Kilo bag and the Magma Quilt that I just purchased for my kids.

The straps for the sleeping pad work nicely and could be easy to loose if you aren’t paying attention but I have never really had an issue (but I am very aware of where they are because I’ve read a number of people have lost them).

The quilt has never felt like I haven’t had enough quilt while ground sleeping and never felt like to much quilt in the hammock. It doesn’t open up to be a traditional blanket but this isn’t something that matters to me.

I would rather know that my feet are going to be warm. While ground camping I’ve used a ThermaRest NeoAir Camper (I used this for my 20 degree night) and I’ve used both a ENO Vulcan Underquilt and a Hammock Gear Premium Incubator Custom 20 degree 950 fill Underquilt with no overfill in a standard length.

The Vesper Down Quilt 20 is what inspired me to buy the Hammock Gear Premium Incubator so I could free up space in my pack. The Vulcan was around three times the size of the Vesper when in the stuff sacks.

If weight and pack size is more important to you then features this is quilt to truly consider and with REI’s return policy it gives you a great safety net just in case my view isn’t inline with yours.

I actually bought this bag twice, the first time from Amazon and the second from REI. I thought perhaps maybe I got a product second because there was inconsistent filling within the baffles and you can see empty spots when you held it up to any kind of light.

I took it on a couple of trips where it went down to the 40s and I noticed there was cold spots and yes I have an exotherm $80 liner from REI and an R6 sleeping pad from REI. I returned the one from Amazon and ordered from REI and it was exactly the same.

The loft and the touch are beautiful. however when taking 10 nights camping for nights that were in the 30s there was cold spots and even with the liner I was getting cold and the clips that hold the bag to the pad we’re not strong enough and Air seeped in that way.

My exotherm liner is supposed to add up to 15 to 20° and my R6 pad should be fine on the cold ground however I was at 19 degrees Fahrenheit and I had to go get another sleeping bag to lay on top due to cold spots and air seeping in.

It’s a beautiful bag I think there are some engineering flaws in it and I don’t think it’s worth the $380 price point. The down and weight are great but I don’t think it’s put into the baffles correctly or something else is wrong.

I don’t recommend this bag.

I have used a wide variety of high end, down 850++ mummy bags, but was interested in trying a quilt since I heard it helped with sleeping position. To use this quilt at 32 degree you need an R5 or better pad, and a down hoodie.

I used the Therma rest xtherm max and bought a 20 buck down hood from alipexpress. The Vesper has really good loft with 8. 5 ounces of 900 down. I like the sewn footbox. The neck snap and draft collar seal nicely but allow you to flip around.

The straps for the sides are ok, but require experimentation/attention to ajdust for a good draft seal. We backpacked up 14k Mt. Harvard, CO in 30 degree nightlime temps and I stayed warm. At first I was a bit nervous and piled on layers at first, but gradually stipped them off when I realized I didn’t feel any drafts (once I adjust the straps).

I really liked the freedom during the middle of the night to turn. I really liked that it weighed only 15 ounces going up a 14k’er!.

This bag kept me plenty warm, but the zipper and velcro around the hood were annoying to sleep on. I move around a lot in my sleep, so the annoying material around my head and shoulders, plus the fact that I was sliding around a lot due to the slippery material made it hard to get and stay comfortable.

Also, the inner material was not comfortable on my skin at all. I had one warmer night and that I had to strip down to just underwear and I was sticking to the inside of the bag. I know this bag was probably too warm for the conditions I was in, but even when I unzipped it and used it like a quilt I was sweating and sticking to the bag.

It also does not compress well. It’s always a struggle to get back into the sack.

I’m 275lbs with a waist of 56in. I do have the older full down 20deg bag. This bag fits perfectly, I’m able to move around and still have room to spare. I was a little concerned about the 650 fill with a 20deg rating.

But, I just recently did a 2 nighter where the temp dropped to 34deg. both nights. Granted, I used the Klymit insulated Static V Luxe as my pad, and was wearing a thin base layer along with wool socks.

I gotta say, I was completely warm the entire night with literally no cold spots. I would say, if you’re on the larger side, this is the bag for you. Comfort and roomy. Oh and yes, there were some loose feathers in the morn.

Nothing excessive but kind of what I’d expect from any down blanket.

This sleeping bag is warm! I bought it as I was too cold with my former bag and I like to be on the warmer side anyways. I was not disappointed. Maybe too warm even for me on a cold summer night. Not sure if it is just meant for winter.

It is also very spacious and I like how it can be be flexible with the length and spacious in the top part of the bag. It comes with two bags – a bigger one that is easy and fast to pack and a smaller one that requires a bit of effort to stuff.

When stuffed in the smaller bag, it is still not a small pack. Probably not good for a backpacker because of the size. I am very happy with this bag. Very warm – very comfortable. Great for a car camper like myself.

Bought this as it was on sale. The item was a defect. Snowys was very good with the replacement process. The employee even said sorry, even though he probably is not the one who shelved it. Would buy from Snowys if the products are similarly priced.

As for the bag review, it has a soft feel (close to fleece) and the zippers work quite well. The carry bag is not the same as the one in the photo. It looks more like a rectangular bag, and it is slightly loose to easily fit the bag.

The bag fits better if packed in as separate single bags, and there are hooks attached to the bag to make it nice and tidy. I have only tested it at home, and around 20 oC with single layers worn, it was a bit hot for me.

The Snowys rating of 10oC seems conservative, unless you sleep naked.

Does this do what a sleeping bag should do? Yes. BUT. There is no way on God’s green earth that you can get this sleeping bag back into the bag it came in. None. No way. What’s the point of having a compact sleeping bag that you can easily lug around if you can’t get it to become a compact sleeping bag you can lug around after you’ve used it once??? Side note on sizing: I bought two of these for my two kids under 10.

But that’s the limit. My older one is 4. 8” and the sleeping bag fit him okay. But it wouldn’t fit him next year. So keep that in mind. It’s best suited for kids under 10 for sure. I returned both sleeping bags.

I really wanted to love and keep them. But they’re useless if I can efficiently pack and carry them. I ended up going to a camping store and purchasing sleeping bags there. They pack right back up and are fuss-free.

IF you like to store your gear the way it was packaged by the manufacturer then DO NOT buy this. It is a GOOD SLEEPING BAG. It meets all the needs you would have at the ratings stated by Coleman. However, you will NEVER be able to put it in the storage bag the same way.

Coleman knows this so they made a permanently useless zipper on the storage bag to enlarge it after you open it the first time. From that point forward it will NEVER fit in as small as it was when it first came in.

So it is cheaper to incorporate a useless zipper than to simply make the storage bag bigger? I am an experienced Scouting leader who was/am the outdoor/camping chair. I am a good packer and decently strong.

I can’t pack it back in the “new” condition and certainly my 17 and 13 year old boys can not either. My wife bought a second one before I knew it so I was able to pay extra close attention to the Coleman packaging method and tried to imitate it.

They must use a vacuum to package the bag. If you are using a camp box and because of the bulk of this sleeping bag (decently cold weather~30F), you will be better off to store the sleeping bag folded up rather than rolled up.

When rolled up the dimensions are a diameter of 11″ and 17″ long. I’m not a fan of the “quick cord” design they have to hold the roll while storing but it does work OK. I just wonder when the cords are going to rip out since we try to get it as small as we can so we don’t have to fight so hard to stuff it in the sack.

I’ve been using this bag for a year and a half, and have put it through the ringer while camping in Washington State. For the price, you can’t beat it; I’ve pushed it down to single digits at night, and with the proper sleep system to support this bag (waterproof top cover and ground pad), it performs well.

I’ve never slept poorly in this bag, as long as it was under 40 degrees (and warmer and you’ll want to keep the bag unzipped). The only downsides are the size of the packed bag and the zipper. The zipper is pretty low quality and snags easily, making it a pain to get zipped up all the way.

When the bag is packed into the stuff sack, it ends up taking up about 25-30 liters; meaning it either needs to be kept on the outside of your pack, or you need a very large backpack if you’re backpacking with this bag.

I upgraded to this from my old rectangular sleeping bag. I love that it has the interior pocket, the Velcro at the top to keep zipper from unzipping while in use, and I especially like the draw string to keep heat from escaping around my face.

I like to be very warm when I sleep. I used it with a camp cot while tent camping when it got down to about 35 degrees. For most of the night I stayed very comfortable, but I did wake up just before dawn at the coldest point of the night wishing I would have brought an insulated sleeping pad to put under me.

Luckily I rolled to my other side, heat rose to my cold side, and I slept great the rest of the night.

My son and I are headed on a troop adventure, canoeing on the river for four days, and I knew we needed another bag—yet it needed to be light and portable. Landed this adult sized sleeping bag and tested, unfolding it, crawling in, and—most importantly to me—getting the thing back into the travel-friendly stuff sack.

It past the test. Folded over lengthwise, and folded a third over onto itself, then rolled tightly, it fit easily back into its stuck sack. This is going to be a great trip and one that I don’t need to fret about getting the bags back into the sacks (in less than 40 minutes like others that require engineering and wrestling skills).

Ordered this from Backcountry and used it over the past week in Kentucky where it was in the low 40s at night and was really impressed. It was warm – almost too warm at those temperatures. It’s my first time using a double sleeping bag and I love that there was a bit of room to move around even with my partner in, and it’s not as constricted as a regular mum bag.

I thought the internal flaps would be awkward but they worked really well, I wrapped them around myself and they stayed in place all night. Highly recommend this sleeping bag.

I have camped all over California And used many many different brands, styles shapes and sizes of sleeping bags. The sleeping bag came highly recommended from a friend and avid adventurer. Highly satisfied.

The first time I use the sleeping bag I was freezing my *** off, I jumped in the bag and was still cold for about five seconds. After that the bag seem to warm up on its own, it is really good at keeping the heat in.

Eventually even though it was super cold outside I got almost too warm inside the sleeping bag, at that point I simply got between the layers and was a very comfortable temp for the rest of the night.

We love the Kelty double sleeping bag! I thought it was great but my wife is less fond of the split sheet in the middle because of her cuddling style… also if Kelty is listening, we’d love it if the middle she was able to zip out for a washing purposes.

Other than that we love the weight, material, and warmth used in the same bag! More packable in the sense of cargo space in the trunk than some other options. Definitely not made for backpacking, but an excellent car camping option!.

We really like our double sleeping bag. We can use it as two sleeping bags if we want. But it’s better if we do the double. We have two small dogs who sleep with both of us. The double bag works great.

It prevents the dogs from running back and forth between the bags. This makes all of us happier and more rested.

My wife and I love this bag. We have used it 3 times already from Big Bend Texas to Hill Country to Missouri in a overlanding. It is well made, zippers are great. Its great as a two person this why we bought it.

But we tried it as two singles also. We are going to buy another for the grandkids when they go with us.

The double sleeping bag was exactly what I ordered and wanted! It is light weight and easily compresses for travel. I would definitely recommend this product and company and will be returning for future business.

I love this bag. I bought it as a summer bag in Alaska and use it all season. We never take it out of our roof tent. It’s warm enough for early spring all the way through fall camping in interior Alaska.

It’s compact enough to throw in the truck and it also folds right in to our roof tent.

This bag has been a disappointment from the start. I bought it for a trip with my girlfriend in Bend, Oregon in September of 2020. Overnight temps were somewhere around the low 40’s, and we were both super cold! Mind you we are using this with the big Agnes double wide insulated sleeping pad recommended for this bag.

We felt the cold just pouring in through the sides of the bag, likely due to the construction that doesn’t put any insulation on the bottom of the bag! Seriously, for how many times the description of this bag says “no draft”, it is seriously concerning how drafty of a bag it is.

When you only have a small baffle covering the zipper area, and the whole bottom of the bag has NO INSULATION, I suppose it shouldn’t be a surprise that the chill gets in. So bear with me here Big Agnes folks, if someone with any design input is reading this.

The logic goes that the insulation on the bottom of the bag is excessive because: a) that’s what an insulated pad is for, b) it is extra weight and bulk, and c) laying on top of the insulation compacts it anyways, rendering the insulation ineffective.

Now hear me out on this important point: in this roomy double bag, you are never going to be laying on top of all the insulation, and you would get so much more insulative value from putting insulation on the bottom of the bag!!! It might even feel like a 15° bag!!! We have used this many times since purchase, and my girlfriend has come to hate it.

She now insists that if we are bringing this bag, we bring my 0° down bag too to use as an extra blanket, defeating the point of having 1 double bag for two people. All in all, very disappointed by this bag.

The temp rating seems exaggerated, the design seems flawed, the chill finds its way in real quick. If you’re hoping to stay warm with your partner, this is not a good bag.

This is a solid double sleeping bag. I disagree with the bad reviews. My girlfriend and I used this sleeping bag with the insulated SLX tent floor. It was comfortable, warm, spacious enough for two, and durable through all of the adventurous fun we had on top of it.

The only drawbacks were that the zippers snagged if not closed slow and careful, and it did not come with a good compression sack. I am still looking for a good compression sack, and I’m unsure what size compression sack is best.

I love these double Big Agnus bags under the right conditions. I’ve honestly had some of my best nights sleep in this, and I spend around 40 nights every year in a variety of different setups. The nuance is when you get near the cold rating it is a bit harder to stay comfortable below it, as it’s harder to wrap yourself in the bag.

There tends to be some air space on the sides where the bag meets the pad, which means your body heat fills and doesn’t stay as close to your body. In the warmer months it’s not a problem and is possibly more comfortable actually, but going below freezing is hard without bringing another insulation layer to fill that space.

I have taken it below freezing by wearing my down hoodie and down botties, which I’d recommend for anyone honestly. Pro Tip: Get the Big Agnus AXL Pillows to put in the sleeves, so comfortable.

All my sleeping bags are made by Marmot, and they span the different seasons we have in Alaska. This bag is colorful and the new improvement is the fishtail you can unzip and move around in. Its down so its light but lofty.

The zippers on my bags do not snag and the down stays in the bag and not falling out at the baffles. Just really well made and comfortable. If you buy a Marmot bag or two you will probabley never switch to another brand.

My bags need to not fail me at 45 degrees and much more crucially at -20F, and I have never had any problems with Marmot bags. They are reasonable in price for such a good investment. No regrets ever with choosing Marmot.

It may not be Always Summer in Alaska, but in this bright and citrusy bag you will want it to be.

this might be the best choice. Disclaimer, I’m a Marmot ambassador. The truth is that I’m equally vocal about what I like and don’t like. I tested a prototype Wind River. It’s not at the extreme top of the Marmot line, but it checks all the boxes when it comes to warmth, packability, and cost.

While not the most compact for its weight and warmth, it’s hard to beat on dollar to performance. This bag is backpackable with enough volume to comfortably camp for extended periods. The flap zipper and expandable foot box make it lounge-worthy for tent and car camping.

At 10 degrees, it will cover all but the most extreme temperature ranges. I spent one month in it with temps down to 15 degrees. It was a bit warm for that, but I could always unzip the bag. At the price, this might be the last bag you’ll ever need.

I’ve just gotten to use this once – hammock camping down to 35° F. It kept me toasty warm. Zippers were easy to use. The face opening was just right but there’s a seam in the center back of the hood that was a bit annoying.

Held up to misty rain that snuck under the tarp. FYI, in case you can’t tell from the pictures and description, the main zippers do not go down the full length of the bag but only go halfway down on each side.

It was super nice to be able to regulate my temperature by folding down the flap. Oh, and the football zipper just expands it, it doesn’t open the bottom completely so your feet stick out. No walking in this bag.

:} It was a bit too spacious in the legs and feet for me – I’m 5 ft 11 in, 190 lb. Overall, good experience and looking forward to using this bag for years to come!.

The sleeping packs nicely for a two person. It keeps warm high 40’s and above. Lower and then another blanket may be needed. The big draw back this sleeping bag is the zipper. It gets caught easily and sometimes separates apart easily.

After the third use it came off on one side and I was unable to get it back on again. So now the bag is useless. I wouldn’t recommend this bag.

I recently purchased this sleeping bag while I was shopping around for something that would keep me warm in the sierras during a backpacking trip. I didn’t have much to spend on an expensive fancy sleeping back but found this bag and decided to give it a try.

Boy was I impressed! It will keep you pretty warm and is of good quality and folds up nicely into the compressed sack that it comes with. For the price there really isn’t a better bag. Don’t expect it to keep you nice and warm in snow but if the weather is cold and you’re looking for an affordable and good quality bag, think no more!.

I purchased this as a gift for my 4 year olds first camping trip. He used it for the first time this weekend and loved it so much that it has replaced his blanket on his bed at home! It is well made, comfy and has plenty of room for him to wriggle around in it.

The bag it came in a very nice and the bonus pillows were great for the camping trip when we are trying to keep things consolidated. Definitely recommend!.

Well made, warm, roomy, inside material cotton, outside material nylon, zipper is on right side (not left),has a store bag, they should shake it out after construction- had a few scraps inside. Plan to sleep well in it.

This is my second Coleman rectangular sleeping bag and I bought both of them at Walmart. I loved my first one which I bought on clearance at the store. I figured that even if it did not meet or exceed my expectations at the very least I did not spend very much on it.

Well it met and exceeded my expectations including and most importantly the 15° f rating. It had a very unique tan polyester spun wicking inner lining that I’d never seen in any other sleeping bag and it was great including being very soft.

I washed it and dried it multiple times in commercial washers and dryers it came out great every time. And because of all of those excellent qualities I decided to buy a second one which I would not have needed to if it weren’t for my movers having lost it during a move.

I researched many sleeping bags and narrowed my choices down to Coleman, slumberjack and Kuomo. My most important criteria in deciding upon a bag is the temperature rating. I wanted one with a 20° rating or colder.

I had pretty much decided upon a slumberjack bag that was rated at 20° but before I could order it on Walmart. com it became unavailable and out of stock. Unfortunately Walmart did not have any other slumberjack bags rated at 20° or colder.

They did have another slumberjack that I really liked but it was only rated to 30° and I almost ordered it but before doing so I did one more search on Walmart. com and found a Coleman that never came up in any any other prior search.

It’s the Coleman Juno 15° semi-rectangular sleeping bag with an olive colored shell and a olive checkered foreground and cream yellow background color for the inner lining. It’s an absolutely beautiful color combination and compliment one another perfectly.

The entire bag, the shell the inner lining and the insulation are all manufactured from polyester which makes it very warm and very durable. The shell is a combed and spun polyester which makes it extremely soft as soft as cotton or maybe more.

Inner lining is the same from head to toe and again is extremely soft to the touch and on your face. That same polyester is both breathable and wixking so it prevents the body from sweating and prevents the material from holding moisture therefore causing a wet sleeping bag.

It’s dimensions are 6 ft 5 long and two and a half feet wide,, it’s huge and has tons of room! It has a contoured top which keeps your head and pillow off the ground. It has roll control which keeps the bag straight while rolling it up.

So when you fold the bag in half lengthwise on one side there are loops and on the other side there are toggles that fit into the loops keeping your bag straight. This is unique I know of no other manufacturer that has this roll control.

It hasZipPlow™ zipper for snag-free opening and closing. This is awesome again no other manufacturer has this. Thermolock™ draft tube prevents heat loss through the zipper. So all of that plus more for only $29! My best and most favorite purchase in a long time, I love it!!!.

Mixed feelings about this bag but I still give it 5 stars. It’s not necessarily that much longer, but it is much WIDER than a regular bag by a few inches. I don’t like this because if you’re actually using it to camp in really cold temps, cool air can get into the huge top opening easily (I used it in 35 degrees, was fairly warm wearing layers) but I also loved this because I like to sleep with my knee sticking out to the side and this is the first bag where I can get fully into my comfort position.

Also, rolled up it is about twice the size of a “normal” warmer weather bag. This is definitely not for backpacking. I’ll never, ever get it back in the carry bag it came with. I do like the material and the stuffing loft very much.

It is a soft kind of brushed polyester. It is very comfortable, warm, and roomy. Overall I do very much like it, just need to figure out a way to block that big top opening if it’s actually cold. I don’t want a slim mummy bag I could never sleep in that.

Coleman is always dependable in my experience, this is a great price for such a substantial sleeping bag.

I needed a new sleeping bag with three non-negotiable features: non-constrictive (wider), with a right-side zip, and with some fill on the underside. I have wide shoulders despite only being 5’8″ and narrow mummy bags give me no room to move or regulate heat if I need to unzip as I spill out completely.

I am right handed but prefer a right zip (it annoys me that many companies only offer a left zip in mens bags). My previous bag from a different company didn’t have any down in the underside portion due to their sleep system, which I found to be very weird feeling and cold, even with a high R value pad.

So, the Sea to Summit Amplitude looked to solve those problems while giving amazing flexibility to zip however I want on both sides. I am very satisfied with the materials and warmth of the bag. In fact, this 25 degree bag was a better performer than my previous 15 degree bag and that is with the extra room.

I appreciate the zipping options so I can have my desired entry and exit from the right side. I also like that they took the time to ensure that zippers would not get caught on material (my previous bag, which was supposed to be an easy zipper always jammed and was annoying).

But, there is one major design flaw that keeps this from getting a perfect five stars, and I think it’s a big deal. When they list the circumfrance, the bag appears to be plenty wide for its class. However, this is misleading as the zippers are not at the extremes of the measurements, but are closer to each other, similar to a regular mummy bag.

I think they did this for more secure attachement of the pad straps but I really really really wish they didn’t. If you move during the night you will feel the zippers directly under you or if you utilize the extra room to spread your legs, you will feel the zippers.

That is super annoying. If Sea to Summit ever updates this bag I would strongly advise them to move the zippers to the extreme edges. So, keep this in mind when buying. Yes, you are getting a lot of extra room but the zipper position is not ideal.

Otherwise, it’s a well built, warm, modular bag that can still stuff down if needed.

I am a side sleeper and am restless with tossing and turning through the night. I’m also claustrophobic and mummy bags with one zipper often times ends up under me with no way to escape. i spent two months researching the perfect bag.

this bag is so roomy, i can nearly do cartwheels inside it. having zippers on both sides with foot box venting is genius. the last sleeping bag I’ll ever purchase. the last thing anyone wants after a long day on the river is a bad night ‘s sleep.

this sleeping bag changed all that. extremely satisfied and big time impressed with this bag and feeling proud of making a sound purchasing decision.

I used this bag on a road trip in December with my girlfriend and we loved it! we paired it with a sleeping pad(that was firmly secured to the bag with some sweet straps so the pad didn’t end up all wonky) and stayed plenty warm! the colder nights were 20-25 °F and the warmer nights were up to 35-40 °F.

it is very light and can compact down smaller than my single big Agnes 0 degree bag but still very warm and cozy. I am 6’3 and my girlfriend is 5′ 5 and there was no shortage of space. We took a road trip from Central CA to the Mojave then down to Sedona.

Spent a few nights outside of Flagstaff and hiked to the Indian Gardens (campground in the Ground Canyon!) for two nights to Home. The trip took us a little over a week and I couldn’t be happier with my choice in this sleeping bag.

This is my second time purchasing LLBean sleeping bags. They are much more expensive than other brands and my first order was wonderful and has lasted my children for many years. This time around I was ordering for my nephews.

I chose child size bags due to the availability of the cute patterns. Previously the cute, kid patterns were available on adult size sleeping bags also. The adult bags previously ordered had nice buckle straps attached to the sleeping bag to keep the bags in place when rolled up.

I was very disappointed to find that these new sleeping bags only had two small strings, which were much too short, to use to hold the bags in the rolled position. The large carrying bag is a nice feature.

Perhaps the nice straps are only available on the adult size bags? Sleeping bags are never easy to roll up to begin with. The attached buckle straps were definitely a game changer and the reason for my reorder.

Please fix this for future purchasers.

The sleeping bag was just what I wanted! It met my expectations and more. The flannel inside was important to me. The bag with the neat handle to put the sleeping bag in, fit nicely. and, left room for my pajamas.

This sleeping bag is great. We actually use it for my 3. 5 year old’s crib instead of a blanket. She wore a sleep sack forever and switching to a blanket was a disaster. She loves being enveloped in a sleeping bag and you can’t really get it all twisted the way you can with a blanket.

It does get rather warm, but her room is on the colder side, so it works well. It fits perfectly in her crib (a tad longer than the crib, but doesn’t cause any issues, but the width is exactly right).
