20 Best Door Speakers For Sound Quality (2023 Updated)

So I purchased these primarily to test out simply because they were so feasible @ $34/pr. No crazy install just running off of Kenwood H. U. (20wrms/ch). Replaced a well broken in pair of VRPower 3. 5’s and IMO they sound much clearer/cleaner.

They are not as beefy but are a higher quality build, I have them crossed over at 120Hz off H. U. and they keep up reasonably well with my x4 Eclipse 6×9’s in doors amped off a Rockford T400. 4 (obviously took some tuning to balance best as possible).

The noticeable difference I believe comes from the. 8″ silk tweeter, the VRP’s had a. 75″ titanium tweet and it was extremely bright even set at 12. 5kHz. Overall, I would consider these to be a great deal for the price and are probably comparable to many of the higher priced speakers in their class.

I cannot speak on the LP performance as I’ve rolled off the lower frequencies significantly but they seem to handle them decent just playing around with the EQ but the highs are nice and clear and natural sounding to my ears.

If you are in the market for a pair of 3. 5’s in the $0-$75 range (believe me I looked at many options) I would HIGHLY recommend saving a couple of bucks and going with these, WELL worth the cost! Only area I would’ve liked to see an improvement with specs was the efficiency and frequency range @ 145-20kHz but honestly they’re 3.

5″ speakers so you can’t expect much bass/punch. Thanks, hope this was helpful in narrowing down your decisions.

Awesome sound from such small speakers. Replaced the dash and rear pod speakers in my Bronco and even with the upgraded B&O system, these Skar Audio coaxials sound so much cleaner over the B&O. especially at higher volumes.

When I first got them, I used them for my rear stage in my SUV powered by the SKAR SK-M4004D amplifier and it powered them a little too well as I didn’t adjust the X-over correctly and fried one, but SKAR understood my issue and sent me a replacement.

(After) proper tuning, these small drivers they screamed and screamed loud and clear. I plan on a few more for my next project and I can’t wait. SKARD’d 4 Life!.

Really happy with these speakers. They fit really well in the front doors of my Chevy Express 3500. They are on minimal power (an aftermarket stereo, but without an amp) but still sound great everywhere except in the low end.

My stereo’s built-in digital crossover allowed me to eliminate anything going to the speakers that was below 60hz and they sound excellent as my limited power is apparently enough to pull some sub but not the lowest of sub.

Fortunately, I have a 10″ powered house sub in between the front seats that more than handles the 60hz and below. (and it only cost me $149 – Polk Audio 10″ Sub) – I am one 4-channel amp away from being happy with my sound.

At which time I’ll still add a 12″ Klipsch Sub to the “trunk” and put more serviceable speakers in the back end of the van. As for these speakers? So much bang for the buck. I can’t wait to get the amp in and see what they can really do!.

When my Rockustic speakers disentegrated after 20years of use, I purchased the Kicker KS 6. 5 – 2 way speakers as a replacemt. Powering them with a Yamaha 100watt per channel AV receiver and they sound amazing in my backyard! Not sure they soumd in a car door but these things rock! I did try the CS line first and the highs were a littlw better in my opinion, but these have more bass and have poly propolene woofers to help stand up to the outdoor elements.

Originally purchased 2 pairs of these back in 2020 and have sounded great the whole time I’ve had them. The mids and highs are very strong and clear, however if you’re looking to get car shaking bass out of these then look elsewhere.

6. 5″ speakers aren’t meant for bass anyway so I won’t count that as a negative. Pair these with an subwoofer and set up your crossovers and these speakers will sound great. Unfortunately at some point one of the speakers blew but I was able to get a full refund more than a year later with my protection plan, can’t complain and definitely recommend purchasing the protection plan if you have the money.

Overall, I’d give them an 8. 5/10 because they sound good for what they are meant for but are a bit underwhelming for the price. If you can snag a pair for around $100 then I would recommend these. I’m giving 4/5 stars for the speakers and 5/5 stars for Bestbuy service.

Just put these in a 72 Chevy truck to replace where the previous owner put some 5. 25 speakers in the kick panels. These replaced some 30+ year old Clarion speakers that were decent for their age. Couldn’t get good sound at freeway speeds.

now I get them clear as day. These are good mid-priced speakers. Wired directly to an older Kenwood unit 40×4, no amp. These are the only 2 speakers in my truck right now. Not bad sound at all. Treble: 8 out of 10 stars.

clear sound Mid: 9 out of 10. very good Bass: 9 of 10. you don’t get much bass out of a 5. 25 2-way, but I’m rating these based on the LACK OF DISTORTION you get when bass frequencies come through at louder volumes, like you do in a lot of speakers.

These speakers have a pretty good crossover. If you’re getting these to add to a system, these would be good to save you some money from some premiums that sound a hair better. Hopefully these last for a good while.

Definitely loud for the power and sound really good. They have a nice weight to them is what you want in a good speaker. I have 1000 rms subs by kicker in a porter box in the car and these doors speakers are still loud enough to hear over them.

I had pioneers before these and they were not as good as these are. Kicker definitely makes good quality speakers. The subs I have incase you’d like to know are kicker comp r 12s in a ported box by kicker.

Had geek squad install these in my 11-year-old work van. Wow what a difference over those thin dusty worn out factory speakers. I’m having a new head unit installed this week so that should bring them to life even more.

Don’t expect huge bass from the 5 1/4 inchers. What you will be rewarded with is clear smooth sound that far out performs the factory units.

I dont like my phone up in my windshield or clipped to a vent and had trouble finding anything that would hold well down lower. This mount has a very small base and can be mounted in many places out of the way.

Magnet is very strong. Only down side is my contact charging was blocked by the large square metal plate on the phone. The smaller round plate is used down lower to allow contact charging again. Both plates are supplied.

BIG SOUND FROM A SMALL UNIT. AWESOME COMPACT MINI AMP. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT YET BUILT TO DO THE JOB. IT’S GREAT THAT IT ONLY USES A 15 AMP FUSE TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM. THAT SAVES BATTERY DRAW DOWN ON BIKE ELECTRONICS.

the specifications of this sub works very well with my system, this infinity reference 1070 out performs my old Rockford 4410 sub by a mile, matches my infinity kappa 6×8’s great bye

For this review I’ll have two sections. One for the product which is the main review and the other will be my experience as a first time buyer doing my own installation. So as far as the product goes I was replacing the original speakers of my vehicle because there would be crackling noise at times and it was getting annoying.

I get a nice volume out of these and I’m still using the original vehicle receiver. I did notice that the higher frequencies are a bit loud. I slightly notched that down on the EQ. I also noticed that there was some bass missing.

I felt like it was maybe tight but not as punchy as my previous speakers. There are some songs I played in which I thought the bass sounded alright and I know my ears will eventually get used to it. I did boost the bass some on the EQ by a lot to see how it sounded but then I cut it down to leave just a small boost because I couldn’t tell much difference.

So for my experience, which doesn’t affect my rating, this is just for people who are looking into replacing your speakers and maybe it’s your first time like mine. I did some research online to see what size speakers mine were.

Everywhere I went it said that my original speakers were 6×9. So initially I bought a pair of 6×9. They were also kickers and they looked really nice. Unfortunately, when I took my door apart, I noticed my car speakers were smaller.

They weren’t going to fit the speaker plate. And to find one exactly for my vehicle was going to be very difficult. So if this is your first time replacing speakers make time to check your vehicle and verify the actual size before buying.

Thankfully, best buy accepted my return and allowed me to switch them for this set of speakers. I also ordered a speaker harness connector. They should’ve worked but I’ve no idea why it didn’t so I had to solder the speaker cables onto the speaker plate so I could use the connector from that plate like the original speakers were installed.

But it’s worth trying to see if you need a speaker harness too and that it works before you solder anything. Well anyways, this review might get lost in the sea of reviews but if it helps somebody out then it’s worth it.

If you really want bass then I would suggest looking for other speakers. But if you are planning on maybe installing a sub then it won’t matter much because these will take care of the middle and higher frequencies (especially the highs).

My stock front left speaker started making terrible noise when the volume was turned up, so it was time for a replacement. The Best Buy installer helped me figure out what size speakers to get. I already had my mind set on Kicker, but I didn’t tell him that.

He led me to these. There was a more expensive option as well, but he said unless I planned on installing an amp and other things, there wouldn’t be much of a difference and these would be great. Why can’t more people be honest like that? I am glad he didn’t try to upsell me to something I didn’t need.

I wouldn’t have done it either way, but it’s good to know I can trust him if I need anything else done. These sound great, and I like to crank the volume most of the time. Awesome option!.

added good bass to my 3rd gen Ford Expedition limited. Allowed me to crank the treble and achieve a more balanced sound. the factory subwoofer is far in the back and is only 8 inches. had to put the kickers in second row, cause the first row has factory tweeters that sound good and I did not want to delete them.

All I use now is Rockville, trying to get a sponsorship with them. I have everything Rockville. I will compete this year. I recently bought the 12″ subwoofer with 2000rms. By far amazing, I replaced this one 12 ” sub for my 2 SKAR 18″ SUBS.

It hits way way better, I’m gonna get 3 more of the 12s. My boy has a 12″ sundown with 2000rms he paid 1000. 00 for. He is mad because I paid a quarter of that and sounds way better. I have I have now 10 Rockville speakers, 2 Rockville amps, 1 Rockville equalizer.

My car sounds amazing. Thanks guys I cant wait to get my 3 other 12″ subs already building my custom box for all 4-12s I’m gonna blow away the competition this year if we can get past this pandemic. So Rockville when I place in the top 3 of my class in the bass festival, I am gonna want some help from you guys with some sponsorship.

Great speakers. I have a set on my pick up truck. They sound awesome. They take alot off power, so i upgraded my alternator. Now they sound even better!! Im getting another set soon. I have had them for almost 2 years already and the paper cone is worn in just abit, but they are still going strong.

The quality of these drivers is quite good especially considering the price. Sound quality is crisp clean and detailed and very natural. I chose the – 6 db output for the tweeter as it to much more efficient than the woofer.

Overall I’m very happy with my new speakers and plan to buy another set soon.

In my 2019 Hyundai Sonata install. 6. 75(6-3/4) 2 way speakers fit well with adapters. The sound is better than the stock speakers but the mid-range is not strong enough even though this goes down to 40hz.

It does have a good punch of bass. Kicker is known for its hard hitting bass subs and this fits the bill. The tweeter is clear with the volume at max with no distortion with the factory radio. It was either these or the Pioneer TS-A652F both have comparable specs.

So if you’re having issues looking for a good sounding speaker look no further than these. Worth the money even though I bought mine as an Open Box.

I don’t see any other option if you want to run 100 watts or more to your doors. I have the last model C’s in my truck and have 4 of these and two kicker C’s 6×9 running with a JL 2×10 sub now in my car.

The C’s are the best quality speaker that can handle this much rms on the market. I looked at doing something different in the car but my truck sounds so good I went kicker again and am not dissapointed.

I have been pounding the ones in the truck for 3-4 years and still going strong. You won’t be dissapointed if you buy these. if you want to listen to classical music on low volume please ignore everything I said and buy jbl or infinity.

These are for people who like to feel the music while they listen.

Replaced the factory rear speakers on a Nissan Z with CS Series Kicker Car Speakers. I used Metra speaker harness for Nissan and connections were a breeze with no need to cut or splice wiring. Also used speaker baffles to minimize rattle.

These speakers are a noticeable upgrade and sound real good with the sound deadening foam baffles. They may not win you an audio sound competition, but they are a great value and fit into existing speaker opening without modifications or adapters.

One word of caution. Installation guides say a 6. 5 inch speaker will fit the 2002-2009 Z (rears). It will not fit. You must buy the 6. 75 inch speaker to fit right in. I originally bought the 6. 5 inch and had to return them for the slightly larger diameter 6.

75 inch speakers. Was not able to use the Kicker grill cover and kept the original Z’s cover due to car’s interior factory design.

Excellent speakers for the size. 6. 5 inch speakers of any brand are not going to blow your socks off for bass but these do come close. These have big magnets and the speakers are built very well. Having a component tweeter versus built in makes them better than the next model up because of better separation.

Having both slotted holes and multiple other holes pre-dilled make it so they lined up with no extra drilling needed. You have to be careful putting un the speaker wires because the spade clips are very tight and could bend easily before they go on all the way.

Fortunately I was expecting this and was very patient sliding them on until they clipped into the little lock hole. The end of the speaker wire is tinned which makes it easy to solder, crimp, or wire nut with good , clean connection.

Its almost like Kicker is the only speaker company that has a clue what self-installers go through and have provided everything you need less some foam which I recommend between the grill and the chassis because these speaker do indeed kick and will make your door panels move to the bass.

For 3 months I have bought 3 different brand speakers trying to find a pair that suits my rock and roll ears. Thank God for Best Buy putting up with me and my returns. I have finally found the sound I wanted in these kickers.

They were actually recommended to me from the start of my search, but I tried 2 other brands first. Wasn’t happy with those so I decided to get these. Crisp, clear, and loud. I’m not a bass guy, but these have decent bass for smaller speakers.

I was totally impressed with the sound quality. And I am running them off a $50 Chinese double din touchscreen unit I bought from Amazon and NO amp. It still sounds great. Now I’m thinking about upgrading my unit to get an even better sound.

I have definitely decided to purchase another pair of these for my rear doors. I totally recommend these if you are looking to replace or upgrade. I look forward to getting in my vehicle everyday now because of these Kickers.

Purchase and pickup was a breeze. Installed in a 2016 JKU Wrangler, in the soundbar. Replaced Infiniti Reference 6532ex. Connected a Kenwood KAC 1814 45 watt RMS marine amp. The speakers are as good as I have heard – as good or better than similar size Polk speakers.

They handle bass better than any 6. 5″ speaker I have heard. I was considering a subwoofer, and I will not need one. In a Wrangler, it is difficult to fill the space with good sound with the top off, and these Kickers helped me do that with the JL C1-650 components in the front.

The JL’s had to “break in” to where they compete with the low frequency handling like these Kickers. If you are not impressed, you are probably underpowering the speakers by driving them with your head unit – get an amp.

Like others mentioned, if you want thump that other drivers here, get a sub. These just sound really good. NOTE: the Metra adapter 82-6600 has too much depth to mount with these speakers in the JKU soundbar.

It will contach the soundbar cover. I will have to add spacers to the cover and find longer screws to mount them.

WOW!!!! When I was a young lad back in the newly formed MTV Era. Blaupunkt was always known as that high end, high cost, supreme quality company that told your friends that you were serious about car Audio.

Then like so many started to live on a name. At least that was what most of us thought. I think it was actually a rumor and because what we had speakers (Blaupunkt) that lasted so long we didn’t buy Blaupunkt for a decade or two.

That and Infinity and other top shelve brands came on the scene. So I when I was in need to replace some factory equipment in my Jeep Cherokee to go with a nice mega sound/watt setup I’m doing I saw these for $14 and thought why not??? Let’s just see.

HELLO!!!! Blaupunkt of old. New technology, and a price that cannot be beat. Yep. These are worth EVERY penny. And then some. Kudos Blaupunkt and Kudos Walmart. Outstanding!!! Only wish I could give more stars.

Just installed these after having them around for a good few months, when I bought them they were on rollback, and at $20 for the pair, they came in an awesome box that looked and felt great, I opened them up and they smelled like fresh rubber latex which I love, I love that new smell.

Meanwhile, after installing them in my project wagon with grilles, I gotta say they looks sleek and the blue accents remind me of Sony during the xplod days. Definitely recommend, especially on head units, I’d be weary on high powered units.

If there were more stars i would give them to these speakers. 2012 Chev Equinox passenger door speaker blown. put these speakers in. Had to get adapters and wire connectors. $20. 00. I never heard the highs with OE but with these I hear deep base and high symbals.

I purchased a set of these speakers back in 2018 and it took 4 whole years to blow one speaker out. Completely separated from the diaphragm. Sound quality was pretty good for what I payed for em and durability was absolutely astonishing for what I had payed for.

From the build quality to the looks to the feel, and most importantly sound. This brand and these speakers are top notch! They have a nice heavy magnet, but are very low profile. If you replaced all 4 stock speakers to these, you dont need a sub, these provide nice accurate low end bass, just not a ton of it.

I slapped these in my Honda Crv and couldnt be more pleased!.

Installed four of these in a 2011 GMC Sierra. I wasn t expecting much of a low end response, neither did I need much of response, considering I have a 10 kicker compR. After install these 6 1/2, I honestly had reduce the bass on the head unit and the volume for my sub.

If I didn t already have a sub install I would be totally satisfied with the stock stereo and these CS.

I waited 12 years to replace my stock speakers in my ’07 Honda Civic. The OEM actually stopped working, so I was forced into replacing them. These new speakers were the perfect price. I’m no mechanic or sound tech, but these were really easy to install.

The box comes with wiring attachments that make the hookup to the old wires easy. I watched a video on how to remove the door side panel, and 30 minutes later, I had the first one hooked up. Second one took 20 minutes.

So within an hour, these guys were ready to test. And boy, for the price, they put out great sound! I did not install an amplifier, I don’t feel the need for one if you’re only upgrading the front speakers.

Would definitely purchase again.

Im Advanced and have an expensive stereo and waned more highs and mids. My Pioneer aftermarket receiver is all the power these needed to roar. I used the Pioneer ARC app on my phone through Bluetooth to set the frequencies and theyre great! Superb crisp & clear his to mids! Subs are for bass, & to people who dont know, not any door speaker is going to put out bass like a sub.

These do sound very good for their size even tuned to normal levels of sound. Meaning, Full range audio (without cross-overs) using just treble & bass tuning knobs. You Really get your moneys worth. Very happy!.

I deemed that my 2012 chevy sonic needed a little boost in the stereo department. I hooked four of these up to a 50 dollar “dual” deck and they sound great, plus they are loud. I also purchased the “Kicker BassStation” from walmart and together they all sound great! I wired and mounted them myself, the instructions are helpful.

but as long as you know your positive wire from the negative you’ll be fine.

I bought the Alpine are components for the front and I bought these for my soundbar and a Jeep Wrangler. I pair these with the pioneer DX 874 amp and the sound quality is amazing I cannot recommend the speakers enough make sure you get an amp though you will not be disappointed.

Ive had to replace 2 already in a two month span. The sound quality of these speakers are awesome but will not last with anything over 70w constantly. These are not 100w RMS, more like 65/70 or THEY WILL BLOW.

Excellent sound reproduction. It is quite surprising how loud you can turn these up and still hear no distortion. Speaker tech has come a long way. Come along for the ride with these Alpines.

These sound great, right up to the point when the tweeters stopped working. Had them about two weeks. Not worth the effort or money

If you are an audiophile, don’t fall for the trap. I wish I would have got speakers with silk dome tweeters. The highs are to hiss-y sounding on these with whatever kind of tweeter this is. They are loud I will say that, but I have all of my treble frequencies on “0”, and the unclear treble notes are still noticeable.

Sounds like the music is coming from a tin can. I’m pushing them with an Alpine 45 watt max x 4, 16 watt RMS. They might sound ok with techno or rap, but they don’t do rock and roll justice.

Have used them for about 6 and a half months without any issues. The sound is clear and they’re aren’t any pitch issues. For the price, you can’t complain about the sound quality.

I bought these and some kicker 6-3/4 components for my sons 04 Silverado reg cab. I ran these straight off of a radio that produces 40 watts a channel. I was really surprised at how well they sound for the price.

Highly recommended, especially if youre building a budget system.

Il ne faut pas s’attendre à avoir de grosse basse dessus, surtout au départ avec le rodage même si c’est bien mieux que ceux d’origine. Il faudrait à la limite un caisson de basse, mais ma voiture n’est pas une boîte de nuit ! Je conseille fortement en tout cas pour ce prix.

The mid-range driver in one unit has a lose component in the cone/coil structure that causes an annoying distortion at two frequencies. I drove the amplifier with a sine wave generator to confirm the problem.

Touching the mid-range cone with my finger makes the distortion disappear. If not for this issue, they would be perfect!.

these are awesome speakers for the price I was going to use them in the doors of my 88 mustang GT but the mid tweet pods stick just under 3/4s of an inch aboue the woofer basket, so id def check youre clearance if youre going for a stock appearance.

I made 3/4 plywood adapters and mounted them in the 5X7 spots in the rear i am hitting them with 120 watts but they are run through my mid to high crossovers they def have plenty of rock. excelent clarity of mids and highs I tested them without the crossovers nice lows good range.

a def value if you have the room.

So i had pretty busted speakers in my Impreza wrx gc8. And decided that this needs to be changed. Install: I’m no car mechanic/wiring guy. So I thought this will be a challenge, but I was so wrong! Fits perfectly in factory slot, wires are in the box, the only bit you’ll need to do – attach it to your factory connector/amp wires.

Pretty easy! Sound quality: I do love good sound, use fancy headphones/speakers daily. Gives nice mid/top sound for the money. Highs are sharp and accurate, mids are clear and loud enough without a decent amp (cheap pioneer stereo with 50W 4ohm outs).

Sincerely I can’t imagine better value for your $$$ if you want to improve factory speakers!.

Great speakers for the price. I wish they didn’t have the bass blocker because these have some great potential for lower bass. Alpine did this for cleaner sound. My Pioneer headunit has a high pass filter for the speakers already.

(A high pass filter/crossover cuts out low bass frequencies) By cutting out the low bass from other speakers I’ve found you can get much louder, and a cleaner sounding system. Now, with these speakers, that frequency cut out has already been done for you so you don’t need any special radio.

I do highly recommend using a 10 or 12 inch subwoofer in conjunction with these to bring out the lower octaves. These have a really nice mid bass punch to them. They “hit” really well. Again, the low bass is cut out but from 80-200hz these are the best I’ve heard yet and they really do make some nice sound.

These are some solid 6. 5″ 2 ways. I bet if I dropped one it wouldn’t bust to pieces. I wouldn’t DARE though because it was $56 for the two and they’re great. All in all these are a great middle of the road set of speakers.

For the average Joe (or Jane) who wants some better than stock sound at a good price but doesn’t really care for extra bass (or already has a subwoofer) these are a perfect fit. Of course there are better products out there but they are hard to find and very hard to find at this price.

I have never been dissapointed with anything I have bought from Alpine. They have done a fine job engineering these speakers.

I bought this product to replace OEM door speakers on a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R. I chose these for the Alpine price-to-quality ratio, for the fact that I can run them off head unit power now and an amp later, and because the materials they are made from (plastic basket, poly cones, rubber surround) will stand up well in my econo-box car very poorly weather-sealed doors.

I also like big silk dome tweeters. They do come with plastic mount adapter rings, which is nice; but I made 1″ thick mounts out of MDF and Masonite, coated with truck bed liner, gasketed with 1/8″ closed-cell contour foam, surrounded by a mineral wool baffle diffraction ring.

Currently powered with an aftermarket Kenwood HU (typical 20WRMS or so), they sound far better–insofar as HU-powered speakers CAN “sound better”–than stock in the midrange and highs, although they do have a slight “suck-out” at about 2500Hz (probably due to woofer beaming).

Also, assuming these tweets can handle it, IMO the crossover to the tweeter should probably be set closer to 4-5kHz than the current 8kHz, which would help in the 2k-4kHz region (perhaps another cap paralleled with some alligator clips fixes this?.

I am still using the Nissan POS stock 1/2″ PEI dome A-pillar tweets for raised soundtage (tweets soon to be replaced with something better), but added some 2. 2uF caps in series to increase their xover from 8kHz to 24kHz and these Alpines do marry well with that.

These Alpines do poorly with lows (below 125Hz or so), but that is to be expected from anything this small in an (admittedly not well-sealed) IB application; without some major reconstruction of the car, no door- or deck-mounted speaker is going to give you real bass.

These speakers soon will be mated to a Dayton Audio RSS265-HF 10″ trunk-mounted subwoofer (in a 1 cuft sealed enclosure) all powered by a 4-channel amp (in 3-channel mode 75Wx2@4ohm, 12dB HPF TBD about 80-125Hz + 250Wx1@4ohm, 12dB LPF 50Hz), with nothing in the rear deck, and then I believe they will truly shine.

I got this pair of speakers for my rear doors in a subaru wrx. Required a spacer to install. Overall the sound from these speakers is great, total improvement over the factory co-ax’s. With the built in crossover you’re able to send more power to these speakers without distorting them.

The crossover cuts the lows a little too much (in my opinion), so having a sub to fill in the gap is definitely helpful, but they do produce low end frequency’s quite well. you just aren’t going to be vibrating your door panels off.

Overall i love these speakers, I’m powering them through the factory head unit with a clarion XC1410 4 channel amp. They are nice and clear, could use a little more low end, and trim a little off the high end (the tweeters really scream at times).

For the price you really cannot do any better.

bought for center console area of a 2007 miata and although the site recommended them as a replacement they were a bit too large for the round hole in the cars mounting area. i had to do much grinding on the mount to open it up to make things fit but it was worth it in the end as they sound great.

Always had good luck with kicker products, but one of the tweeters is off just a little (bent). I’m keeping them, don’t think it will hurt the performance of the speakers.

I replaced a set of pyle speakers with the kickers and cant believe the difference in the sound, its like daylight and dark, the kickers sound great!

Awesome speakers, replaced some factory jbl with these JL Audio C2-350x in a Kia optima SX turbo, the difference is amazing. Will be replacing the other five factory speakers with JL audio in the near future.

I Just installed these in the front dash of my 2015 Ram 2500. I was a little concerned about them being 4 ohm and the factory being 2 ohm. I have the Alpine factory (supposed upgrade) 9 speaker system and it just didn’t sound all that good to me.

So after doing some research on the ram forum I went ahead and got these for the dash and the C2-525x for the rear doors. I installed the C2-350X in the dash first,and with these being 4 ohm it moved the sound stage to the rear doors where the factory 2 ohm speakers were louder, but the sound from the dash sounded much better.

so I then installed the C2-525x in the rear doors,and the sound stage went back to center. Now the whole system sounded way better than the alpine factory speakers. The treble and mid range are now back down to near center and I am no longer constantly searching for something that the factory speakers just cant produce.

Finally I have a system that I am impressed with!! I also installed a XD 600/1 V2 and Stealthbox® SB-D-QDRAM/10W3v3 This system sounds like a total aftermarket system without losing my factory head-unit.

I honestly don’t think I could have gutted the system and started from scratch, and made it sound this good for the cost of these upgrades I am truly impressed.

Installed these speakers in my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys. They were professionally installed and were hooked up to a JL Audio amp. What a big difference they make! Very affordable and improve sound quality dramatically.
