My 6-year-old lab mix has always had issues when in the car. She would seem excited at first like she jumps in the car by herself, but once we get driving she starts shaking and only wants to stay on the floorboard.

I had this shipped with a 40 lb dog food and the plastic seal inside was open. I think the weight smushed it because it’s made of paper cup material. Chewy staff is great about replacing the item when I notified them but manufacturing may want to change the package to a flat container instead, sturdier material or ship with bubble or paper wrap around it.

I am very happy with this product for anxiety. My 7 year old English Creme Retriever I adopted in August 2021 was a retired breeder dog. She had a lot of fears when she came to me. This is the 3rd home for her as her original owner passed away.

She had no training like sit, down etc and would not get in my car etc. She was very afraid of stairs etc. It was a challenge with her but with this product she was much less fearful which helped with her training etc.

well it is made well and works. I put it on my goat for his foot scald, poured in treatment. left the period of time and took it off. goat stood on hoof eating lucerne until it was taken off. Maybe a bit loose about the top but for this treatment it is okay.

We have been using Advanced Calming Bites as an easy dosing method for Ginger and Ashwagada, to help with any stress component of acid reflux. Very helpful. Decided to try these with same ingredients but much higher melatonin dosage as a preventative for acute stressful situations that might later impact her GI tract.

The higher dose of melatonin makes her drowsy in our situation, so she tends to nap within an hour of dosing if things are kept quiet. It’s a useful supplement in our situation and I think it has helped prevent flare ups, in combination with her diet.

We were advised to start these tablets for our Lab/Border Collie Cross who has exhibited anxiety and separation anxiety that’s either genetic or due to the pandemic. We got her as a puppy and worked from home without human contact so, she gets nervous and feels like she needs to protect us when people approach us.

We are also working with a dog trainer to help us, help her. Apparently the drugs take a few weeks to kick in a lower their anxiety but, we are about two weeks in and see a mild difference in her. We hope this helps her and will keep the anxiety down until we cease use of the drug.

First of all let me state my vet prescribed half a pill a day for my neutered male senior eight year old cat. He’s been on the medication almost six months now. He began showing anxiety and spraying all over the house whenever he saw a cat in the back yard.

I have used Feliway plug ins, and other calming aids but nothing was working. I clean the litter box two to four times a day. I even use fox urine in the yard to deter cats, raccoons and other animals from coming into my yard.

He wasn’t sleeping, and kept meowing and yowling, The vet said to allow thirty days for the drug to get into his system, but it worked from the very first dose. No spraying, no meowing, no pacing or running from window to window, not going into the litter box every fifteen minutes to urinate a small bit or dig around.

No excessive grooming. I send a written report to my vet every month with updates. He sleeps the normal fourteen or so hours a day, birds in the yard don’t agitate him as much. The only negative side effect I’ve encountered is he seems to have some elimination issues.

Every other month I’ve found a couple pieces of feces in the house. Once near the litter box, in the living room, and in the kitchen where he sits to eat. I think he might be dribbling a little urine as he licks himself a bit more.

He’s not meowing or stressed and otherwise goes into the litter box normally. It’s a lot easier to clean up a couple pieces of feces than cat urine spray.

This stuff actually works! Our bulldog has such bad anxiety that she was attacking our other dog when we weren’t home if anything upset her. This was the inmu thing that has worked. Then she began having tremors or small seizures so we had to start her in CBD oil which in combination with the Clomicalm the two u unison is the perfect combination.

It took us 2 years to get it right but we did it. She is an English bulldog that weighs 65 lbs. she gets half of an 80 mg clomicalm pill cut in half in the morning and then another 40 mg (the other half of the pill) in the evening.

She also gets 8 drops of the cbd oil 1500 mg strength sold by ellevet. com with the clomicalm twice a day. I will add a note that she hates the taste so much so that I have to hide the drops of oil deep inside a piece of her wet food hallowed out then then encased with food to top it off and then with butter smeared all over it to disguise the smell.

Although I don’t like putting medication into our young 1 1/2 year old dog, it keeps our pup calm enough as to where we can get through a day without stress on our mind, bodies and health. We’ve tried every type of training and now question if she came from a neglected litter.

This Rx is prescribed for my Siberian Husky, Ryleigh. I never knew that her name would really fit her so well until she started getting older and I realized that it was going to be exceptionally hard to break the habits her previous owners had let her get accustomed to.

Basically, she needs to be first at everything or she has a drama queen fit. She also does the loudest screeching that she can at the vets office when they check her temp, or if you are putting a flea topical on her.

She has been checked, nothing wrong with her bum, no reaction to the topicals. Physically she is in amazing health. My vet calls her the extra special husky. She is a very smart dog, but this habit of hers.

it won’t go away. My husband was at his wits end, and I was getting there. My vet prescribed this medication for her, and will it does not preform miracles, she screeches less. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because the effects are obviously wearing off 6 hours before the next dose.

I have a new to me 7 yr old Shih tzu who apparently has never been outside it’s fenced yard. He goes nuts when taken anywhere. Has never been to a vet and was a nightmare at the groomer needing to muzzled.

My dogs behaviorist prescribed this for my girl. I was hesitant to put her on this, due to the cost, and it being pretty much flavored fluoxetine tablets. However, it has made a WORLD of difference in her.

She had been on fluoxetine capsules in the past. I didn’t notice a huge change in her then. When I asked about putting her on fluoxetine tablets, she was hesitant and said that she finds Reconcile to work much better for behavior dogs.

I wasn’t too hopeful that it would help, but I was so wrong. My anxious doggy is now coming around and is almost back to her old self again.

I started my anxious dog on the human generic version of Prozac (10 mg), which came in capsules I could open. I would mix the powder with his food and though it was slow-going at first, he eventually ate it without an issue.

When this version became available, I was worried he wouldn’t eat them because they’re pills, not capsules. However, I’ve just been cutting them into small-ish pieces and putting them in his food and he hasn’t even hesitated to eat them.

They also seem to be helping with his anxiety, though it’s only been a few days since I’ve switched from Fluoxatine.
