Best Deodorant For Sensitive Skin Men (2023 Updated)

First impressions, nice bottle and design. Sporty and stands out with the white background and overlapping design. Twist lock on the spray good for gym bags/ safety. Spray function efficiently apples the deodorant, no burn or sting on contact even after a warm shower.

Drys at moderate speed, fresh feeling and a water like feel without oily or powdery residue. Scent is fresh, masculine and sporty with a light musk and citrus tones. I like this and it lasts. Feels and smells fresh, I would buy this.

Keeps the underarms fresh, no issues with odour or irritation which is key for me as some deodorants dry the skin and cause soreness. Great product!.

I really loved this product. It goes on dry and not wet like many others meaning you can dress straight away rather than waiting for your armpit to dry! There was no transfer on to clothes either I tried with various colours including black.

The smell is clean and not over powering and doesn’t clash with aftershaves – it just smells fresh. It also last a long time – i did some strenuous activities with this on found it lasted longer than other products i have used.

I often find myself with irritated skin when using these products including those designed for sensitive skin – with this i had nothing. I ama convert to this now and it is my go to product of choice.

First of all i have tried the NIVEA MEN Protect & Care Anti-Perspirant Deodorant by the HT before this. just 3 main differences in between. First experience to see that this Sensitive Deo is too dry.

As soon as it touch my body i feel uncomfortable with it while the P&C was just perfect. Second experience is that it did leave the mark on my shirt while the P&C isnt. But the good point is the scent.

The Sensitive has better scent compared to the P&C. But overall is okay. I recommend it still but FOR ME the Protect & Care is better choice.

First, let me say you will have no worries ordering from Oars & Alps. FedEx lost my order and Dustin from O & A’s Customer Service made it right immediately. Now, on to the product. There are dozens of readily available aluminum-free, mostly natural deodorants available today and I’ve tried a lot of them.

Some work decently well, some don’t, but one downside to almost all of the “natural” deodorants I have tried is that they feel tacky. They just don’t glide like the typical, big name deodorants. It’s like trying to smear a dry bar of soap on your skin.

This is especially problematic for guys, like me, who may trim, but don’t completely shave the hair under their arms. I finally sat down and did some research on this and what I learned is that it’s Propylene Glycol that gives the big name deodorants that smooth glide.

Unfortunately, this ingredient has been called into question in recent years for some potential health risks. So, the “natural” deodorants leave it out. However, their is a similar, less risky ingredient (derived from corn) that can give natural deodorants a similar, smooth glide.

It’s called Propanediol and it makes all the difference. I will no longer purchase deodorants that DO NOT contain Propanediol because I hate trying to grind those dry, tacky deodorants into my armpit.

All Oars & Alps deodorants contain Propanediol and glide on smooth and easy. They work well and have a nice choice of subtle scents, but what I really appreciate is that they offer an Unscented deodorant.

I prefer unscented because I don’t have to worry about scent clash no matter what cologne I wear. Oars & Alps is the only brand I have found that makes a natural deodorant that is both Unscented AND contains Propanediol.

So I’m trying to be really fair in this review bcz I really hope that everyone will try Oars and Alps. I have had nothing but a good experience with them, fast, easy and transparent! I really liked their products but something in them just didn’t work for me after a month or so.

I do my research and found this company and heard all good things. So I ordered 3 different scents of deo, face moisturizer, a body wash and last but not least the face wash stick. At first I was amazed until my underarms got irritated and had red marks, the face cream eventually worked until it didn’t when I got dry spots on my nose and just under my brow.

Next the body wash. Well out of all of these it did nothing for me or against me but over all I found it to be in one word (ish) Meh. It’s okay. Works as a body wash, nothing special and not worth paying extra for it imo.

Lastly the charcoal face wash stick, I love it. I can’t quite explain why, it is simple but not anymore simple than pumping or squeezing a traditional face wash in to your hand to wash your face. But it just works I’m so many ways.

1st it’s compact, it’s so easy to just put it in any size bag! Compared to a bottle of face wash that could also leak along with it’s not to harsh exfoliating powers, I definitely love this as my everyday face wash! Now back to the Deo.

I’m pretty mad about it bcz I love(d) this Deo. it works(ed) so well I smelled great and was less sweaty and I would(‘v) recommend(ed) it to everyone until my underarms became uncomfortable and I started to see red rings and smaller red spots, I dismissed them as me getting used to a new Deo.

but it didn’t go away or start to, it just stayed the same. So I threw them out and looked on their website and found a sensitive version and bought it. felt the same smelled good but and I was excited! Unfortunately as my night went on I started to stink and stink more.

I was so disappointed. so I am sending it back. I think that it will work for a lot of people but unfortunately it just didn’t work with me. on to the next natural deo. But seriously check out the face stick!.

Ive been on the natural deodorant kick for about 3 years. I used a certain product that was decent but I never liked the goopy gray consistency and it stained my clothes. I switched to another brand and that product just didn’t work whatsoever.

There are so many natural brands that it’s overwhelming. I took a chance on oars + alps after searching “natural deodorant for men” because i needed something strong. OA came and worked the first day I used it.

Immediately. Love the smell. I couldn’t stop sniffing my arm pits. This is not a paid review, I’ve never actually been moved to review a product this well before. And after about 2-3 weeks of use, I find myself having less BO.

Great product. Highly recommend.

Ever looked for a deodorant that actually last a full day? I am not talking about those deodorants that promise 48 hrs but become that repulsive mixture of deodorant and body odor smells after 12 hrs, if you are even that lucky.

This deodorant is the first deodorant that can not just cover my horrid body odor coming out of these sweaty armpits, but makes them smell like having freshly cut pine forest under my arms all day. I have even gone 2 days without noticing a change TO THE SMELL this deodorant gives off.

I have looked for a deodorant that works like this one for so long, and I tried this after seeing so many Dr. Squatch commercials to finally be enlightened at how utterly inferior the brands I used growing up are.

Axe, old spice, and so many other brands are put to shame by this deodorant. If you are a person that is told (or even feels like) you need to shower every day to keep the smell at bay, this is the saving grace that you have been looking for.

As a sweaty and hairy Squatch myself, I found this to be what was needed to keep the odor at bay. The antiperspirant part didn’t really work that well but they never do for me. Really enjoyed this and will use again.

Hands down the best deodorant I’ve tried! Love that it is natural and aluminum free. Odor and sweat protection is better then the clinical strength versions of other brands.

For the longest time, I used Degree deodorant because it was just what I grew up using. I still got sweaty, and there was a still a somewhat noticeable odor. The smell of the product went away basically immediately.

Just yesterday I picked up this on a whim at the store after becoming more interested in self care and grooming. Best decision of my life. This stuff smells great, but not too strong, just a clean, lightly spicy scent.

And it sticks for hours. I get home from school 8 hours later, and I can still smell the scent when I just lift up my arms. Along with that, I stay drier than I thought was possible. This product has given me such a positive impression that Dove Men+ Care products will probably become my new go-to, and the deodorant definitely is my new go-to.

As a side note, I do not have sensitive underarms, I just bought this variety because I liked the scent, though I may experiment with other scents.

For the last 7 months I have been scrapping around trying to find anyone selling the old style spray cans. I like others have used Sanex for years and both me and my husband use one can, rather than having one each and the smell has always been great and keeps you feeling fresh all day.

Then 7 Months ago, I brought the new can, only because they were the only ones for sale in Morrisons. I genuinely thought I had something wrong with me when I put the new spray on, the bad smell was instant and even I couldn’t stand the smell of myself, then my husband used it and had the same issue, we still carried on using it for a week, as I had to find somewhere to get the old cans.

Please Sanex can you change back to the old style, as I really don’t want to change back to 2 different deodorant, but will do if I can’t get hold of the old cans anymore. My regular place doesn’t have anymore left and we are on our last 2 cans.

I’m praying Sanex hears our plea.

My husband has used this for a few years, but has put the new formula in the bin! It has a very strong unpleasant smell, like rancid strong perfume on clothes the day after a party. He wanted to wash the packaging out to recycle it and put it in the sink with a heavy-based frying pan.

Next time I used that pan the food smelt/tasted of the deo, so strongly we had to throw it out. So he boiled water with vinegar in the pan to try to get rid of it… and now the baking trays we store above the oven, which were in the steam coming off as he was boiling the pan, all stink of the deo too.

What on earth is in this??! The ‘fragrance statement’ on the website is quite horrifying… We will never buy this again and can’t wait for the last of the smell to be gone.

I have been a faithful Sanex customer for 10+ years. It is my go to brand for perspiration protection, I never even consider another brand. So when I saw these, I naturally wanted to try them as I also loved the idea of having a more natural product.

It smells great, but this is where the benefits stopped for me as I am experiencing perspiration even after a few hours of being desk bound at home. I can also feel the faint sweat scent too, which is the thing that I absolutely want to avoid.

Being a loyal customer and never having been disappointed with a Sanex product I actually went ahead and bought 2 of these, and 2 of the green Nature Protect ones, so now, I am unfortunately stuck with 4 roll-ons that I will not be using.

I can even return them as I only started using this one after I finished me previous Sanex, and would not feel good giving them to someone I know.

I’ve been shopping animal-cruelty free for 5-ish years and struggled to find a cruelty free deodorant I actually like. I tried lots of natural deodorants and eventually settled on rosy pits by megababe and some certain-dri at night because i’m not afraid of some aluminum.

I wanted something I could just swipe on to prevent sweat and decided to give this a try. Honestly I assumed I’d regret spending $20 on deodorant. I thought I’d have to follow it up with megababe to smell the way I like to smell.

But this is perfect. It smells very fresh and zesty on the stick but mixes with my naturally chemistry to smell more and more amazing the longer the day goes on. It reminds me of the way certain Chanel perfumes are musky but slightly sweet and bright.

I worried this would be overpowering on me since it’s a man’s deodorant and i’m about as girly as it gets, but it’s just a gorgeous nature-inspired fragrance instead of some overpowering noxious goo.

It’s truly unisex, I really think anyone could feel at home in this fragrance.

The smell and feel when wearing this deodorant is amazing. This has been my go to for years now and I enjoy it. The only thing that always bums me out though is the wasted product at the end. Jack Black should team should really look into bringing a new design, it’s been years and still hasn’t been fixed.

I feel like I’ve wasted a good 10 bottles from the unreachable product alone. Great smell and feel though.

Why so much $ for pit stick I’d ask myself walking past this stuff several times before finally purchasing. This 2-in-1 antiperspirant & deodorant is the perfect size for flights, but most importantly it keeps one smelling fresh all day with the smallest application so I don’t mind splurging when it’s on sale.

I use Pit Boss primarily on heavy sweat summer days alternating to regular deodorant in the winter months. The only downside like all antiperspirants is that it leaves ones pits with a film that is noticeably sticky in the shower.

This deodorant is very effective even on sweaty days and has a very appealing scent. Compared to other natural deodorants, this one has a more bold masculine scent. It goes on smooth and clear and I love the travel-sized option.

Bes of all, it doesn’t irritate my (very) sensitive skin.

I wanted to love this product since I love most Baxter products. The smell was good. For whatever reason, this product made my armpits itch really bad all day. After day 1, I returned this product. Maybe I didn’t give it a fair chance? That is a possibility.

But regardless, other products do not make my arms itch on the first use. Also, I definitely missed the antiperspirant aspect. This is just deodorant so it will not prevent you from sweating. That is something I was aware of before purchasing though and I would have liked the product if it had not made me itch.

I don’t want to bash the product and prevent others from trying it since I might just have weird skin. but just be aware when buying that you might need to return.

Normally I never have anything bad to say about Baxter of California products, however this missed the mark by a long shot. Was not a fan of the musk scent and definitely not a fan of the longevity, after about 2 hours I felt like I needed to reapply.

Definitely would not purchase again.

the title pretty much sums it all up. I like Lab Series a lot and have spent a small fortune on their products because they are usually worth it. This deodorant, however, it a major disappointment. The large, clunky, round container is extremely weird, even for Lab Series, which often uses weird/cumbersome containers.

It’s a regular solid, meaning it’s tough to get onto your skin and once you do, your armpits shimmer white – now you’re certainly going to stain your shirt as well. I don’t find any wetness or odor protection qualities and definitely never feel nearly as dry as I do with the clinical series advanced solids that are out there – for less money.

This is one of the few Lab Series products I would not recommend and will not buy again.

I have never had such bad BO than while using this roll on deodorant. No protection whatsoever, and felt quite embarrassed at the hairdressers as I could smell myself through the hairdressers gown! I smelt like rotten raw onions.

Never smelt like that before and wasn’t even doing any excercise or activity while using it. I’ve stopped using it after a week and had to have two showers a day to get rid of the smell and a facial toner on my armpits to help remove traces of the smell and deodorant (top beauty tip there).

Such a shame, as other Sanex products have worked for me in the past.

Old Spice gifted me a complimentary sample of this deodorant in exchange for my opinion. This deodorant came in the scent Lavender and Mint. This is an invisible stick that’s truly invisible and leaves no white streaks.

I got it intending to give it to my husband, not processing that this is a deodorant without an antiperspirant. Oops! My husband is a heavy sweater, so I either look for things that turn off the waterworks or resign myself to spending 80% of my day cleaning pit stains.

He decided to give this deodorant a try anyway (on a weekend, in case things didn’t work out, ha!). Turns out there is some ability to control sweat, and hubby said he didn’t feel slick or sticky. I won’t lie…the lavender mint blend is incredible, and I was hoping it didn’t work for him so I could get it, lol.

I’m an earthy, woodsy scent lover, and this deodorant isn’t too herbal or too minty…it’s just a clean, fresh scent that strikes me as totally unisex. I would totally wear it, and the more I smell it on him, the more I see getting a stick for myself.

My husband uses Old Spice swagger antiperspirant / deodorant, body wash and body spray & loves it, as do I. So he was excited to try the coffee & amber scented deodorant from Old Spice. Until he smelled it.

I encouraged him to see if it smelled better on him, as sometimes things smell better after applied. He still hated it!! At this time I had only took a light sniff of it and didn’t find it offensive.

I wear my husband’s antiperspirants / deodorants quite often and I decided that I’d give it a try. Please take into account that I am NOT sensitive to scents @ all, but when I applied it on myself I literally became nauseous!! Every time I caught a whiff I would literally gag!! I had to take another shower that day to rid myself of the smell.

He didn’t have the opportunity to actually see how it worked as a mineral deodorant because neither of us could get past the smell. This is certainly not the review I was hoping to give, but it was our experience with it.

I’ve no doubt that some will enjoy the smell of it as everyone’s sense of smell is different. I certainly hope this review won’t effect my standings with Topbox!!! But I have to be honest & that was my husband’s & my experience.

This lavender and mint scent is amazingly fresh! Full disclaimer: Although this one has lavender, it does not smell like their Wilderness scent; however, this does smell familiar (almost like one of their other scents, but nonetheless, it’s super fresh and very clean smelling).

It is aluminum-free, and what sets it apart from the other Old Spice deodorants is this one is not the blue gel. With that being said, when you put this one on it does NOT stay wet (unlike the blue gel ones), and also does NOT leave white marks.

It’s a win-win for us gals too. Although it is aluminum-free, it does have natural odor-fighting ingredients and even keeps me fairly dry throughout the day. If I happen to really sweat, my sweat smells amazing.

No musty smells by the end of the day either, and most if not all of my day I spend staying active.

Bought this scent for myself (a woman) in case the women’s scent wasn’t strong enough. It works and smells great! No rashes or irritation, although I do notice a slight discolouration on dark clothing.

Doesn’t bother me, I’m happy to have finally found a natural deodorant that keeps me smelling great all day and all night; so a full 24 hours! I doubt this jar will last me 3 months, maybe more like 1.

5 months, but I’m happy to buy again and avoid all the chemicals in my drugstore brand.

It’s for men, I’m not a man but I wanted something that would really work. This does. I like the smell (it is quite masculine but I don’t mind). I tried many Lavera deodorants before and tbh I love all of them.

I’m using this one now and can’t fault it. I love lavera brand in general.

If you, like me, are well familiar with Lavera’s product, you will appreciate the natural ingredient. Peace of mind, allergy friendly, an a decade long production line. This one deodorant in particular is marked 48 hours.

I wouldn’t know about the full 48 hours, haven’t used it at a Festival yet, but it covers very well on a long work shift, in my opinion a bit more efficiently than the other Lavera deodorant. As for it being for men, the fragrance is not too invasive, can easily be used by the rest of us.

I will be buying again and it is already my preferred for the long working hours.

I’ve struggled to find an eco deodorant which actually works, this one does! It doesn’t have a particularly strong scent, but keeps you dry!

This is my new favorite deodorant, and my new favorite scent. At the end of the day I don’t smell, and that’s what matters. That being said, I do like my deodorant to have a scent for a little longer.

This smells delicious for about an hour or so. But the scent quickly fades – and not evenly. I would describe the scent as a mix of sweet (the juniper, I guess) and “spicy” (the woods). Unfortunately, the sweet scent dissipates quickly.

The spicy smell still smells good, but the two scents combined are what make this fragrance stand out, and I hope that Dove can come out with a different formulation that has a scent that lasts a little longer – or if not, then a scent that stays exactly as it smells when freshly applied, and evenly dissipates.

Again, it’s not a bad smell at all, it just lacks that special combination scent that it has fresh off the stick!.

I used to love sanex deodorant, but bought this a few months ago, and thought there was something wrong with me! I can have quite sweaty underarms, but this one one of my favourite and effective deodorants, but all of a sudden I was sweating loads and completely stank! I just stumbled across these reviews on the sainsbury’s website while doing my shopping.

I’m so glad to discover I’m not alone, and felt compelled to share my experience too. Please, Sanex, change it back!.

Omg I’m so glad I found everyone else having the same issues. have used sanex for years the best ever! Now since packaging has changed like everyone else I now smell super bad!!! -To the point I started thinking I had a medical condition as I have never smelt so bad in my life, didn’t even know this was possible! Such a relief! Really hope you changed back as sounds of it you are loosing lots of loyal customers such a shame! It’s so hard to find one that works well.

but anything else will be better than this new one!!.

As I dont have sensitive skin, I cant really appreciate “sensitive skin” aspect. But can say that its quite effective. Thats the good thing. Two things I dont like: 1. the way this spray works – its not gas/vapour based, its just liquid.

hard to dose and it sort of feels like you are spraying fragrance in your armpit. and after that you have wet armpit for about 40 seconds. and thats not cool. 2. this is the worst – it smells just like insect repellent i have.

Question is – is it nice smelling insect repellent or deodorant that smells like insect repellent? For me its the second. But if you have sensitive skin and dont mind things I dont like, this could be deodorant for you.

I was interested to buy this product as it’s non-aerosol – good for the ozone layer! However, it makes a sticky mess in your armpit which one feels all day, and the spray is quite narrow so you have to apply it a few times to cover the area under the arms.

Neither great – although the smell is fab!.

First bought on holiday in Italy 2 years ago, my husband found that Vichy deodorant spray not only works well but importantly doesn’t cause skin irritation and it also smells nice! Very impressed with the speed of delivery – arrived the next day and received update emails to track the order – excellent service and so will definitely buy from Escentual again.
