Best Deck For Sudden Death Challenge (2023 Updated)

It’s a deck of cards that meets the bare-minimum of quality standards. Technically it is what I’ve ordered, but you can see that the manufacturer spared every possible expense. The cheap, flimsy cards stick together, even brand new out of the packaging.

There are no instructions for the cards; you either know what to do or you have to Google it. I could potentially make it work, but the experience would be anything but enjoyable. I’ve already shipped this game to its next destination: Rumpke dump.

Honestly these are really cool, artwork is nice and they’re pretty well made. They are small though, sized like regular playing cards and not tarot cards but at least that way they take up less space at the table when you’re doing the fortune reading.

If you’re running a Curse of Strahd adventure I think they’re worth picking up.

Theros came right before Covid shutdown. Drafted a bunch at a GP in Indy right before. Not my fav limitex experience, but the set has tons of bombs and the lands are cool which makes it worth picking up.

I bought this at a local walmart and it had the foil lands and the special foil card that is supposed to come with it taken out. I’t was re-shrink wrapped and sold to me after someone stole the foils out of the box and replaced with a regular 20 land pack.

open packages can’t be returned. I didn’t get a single good rare. beware.

Flesh and blood, hands down one of the best TCG out there (I’ve collected many). The brand seems to be going from strength to strength and gaining a decent following. Would recommend the product to any players of TCG’s and also to casual and serious collectors Cold foils I this game are amazing.

Try it out, unlikely you’ll look back :).

This store used to have integrity on the other box releases but not this one. Bought a first edition box of FaB every single release for the fair MSRP price. However now this company has joined the price gouging crew which buys it for below MSRP from FaB and then charges 1000% what they payed for it.

I have several of the first edition boxed sets and have played them a lot. I have been through this rule book 2-3 times, and introduced 6 new players through the intro scenario. The intro scenario is good to get peoples interest started, I can be played with 2-4 characters but tends to be too short with 4 characters (only 7 turns max) so i’d suggest playing with 2.

Earlier today I played the first scenario with my wife and we had 4 characters, and played “Normal. ” It was VERY challenging and we did not complete it. I like that it was hard, we can scale it down if necessary (or even up.

) This is a very good feature to the game. Monsters & barriers are much harder than any of the base sets I have played. On average I’d say combat checks average is 12 (compared to 8 or 9. ) Monsters are also more dangerous with after affects and abilities making armor more valuable than previous editions.

Barriers are also scaled up a few points over older editions. All In all I love the changes and i can’t wait to dig in more!.

The Curse of the Crimson Throne is shorter than previously published games in this series, buts adds some new features which will keep this line fresh. The first half has many characters which you will like to see again and players are likely to replay this often.

The second half does not hold as much interest. This fourth and fifth chapters seem intrusive into the theme established in the first three chapters and seem to be present just to give the players the items and experience needed to deal with the villains of the last chapter.

There are few duplicate cards compared with previous products of this line, with more unique cards as a result. The art style has changed. Whine not bad, it clashes with that of previous games, should you add any class decks to this set.

Altogether, it is a good game, but not the most enjoyable of the line.

The most important text, which should take up half of the card, has been shrunk to 1/4 of the bottom of the card. The text is a chore to read, and every card is like this. All these meaningless flourishes take up major space on each card for no reason.

Each card needs to be inspected to see what it says. Some symbols are so tiny they’re illegible. The old system of design you could read the cards on the table. This text is way too small. The cardboard counters come crinkled out of the box.

Multiple people have pointed this out. And the graphics on the counters look like something from the 60’s. They don’t fit the theme in any way at all. Everything in this box is subpar. I’m quite shocked such a popular system could take so many steps backwards.

It’s rather depressing.

I skate the streets and everyday skater and out of all completes ever my favorite one ever purchased. Day one fresh out ready to rock and feels soild. It’s light with good roll and pop. I’m Familiar with the deathwith decks but the wheels, trucks, and Ect.

this is a first and not bad at all! Definitely getting more than you pay for in my opinion. Might get another for back up parts when this one snap. Hats off to this complete. ????.

Great board, very Saturday and griptape is also very nice. Wheels are a little small and don’t ride the best but they’re okay. Trucks are pretty much but come super loose, took a little while to get to the tightness wanted but board feels good and is actually quite light.

Easier than going to the store, solid shopping experience and a happy son so I have nothing to complain about. In fact, he IS NOT PLUGGED INTO HIS ELECTRONICS! Who knew all it would take was a skateboard.

I used to board when I was a kid back in the ’80s, and I told my kids all about it, they never seemed interested. LOL. This 51-year-old man even ordered himself a couple of new boards too.

Creature is the sickest skate company ever! This was my favorite graphic back in the day, and I’m super stoked they redid it. It’s ninth version of it, and I’m hanging it on the wall. Going to get the orange one too.

Creature love is real! Join the horde, and fiend for the real thing! Heshing it out on a Creature deck is Skate and Dieing only to be reborn again even more sick than before! Why be a part of the herd? When you can be a part of the Horde?! 🤮☠️🤯🤣😎.

This is my first deck in 15+ years and it’s been great! Has awesome pop and after two + months of moderate usage, it’s still holding up nicely. Also, the graphic is sick 🔥

The transcend line seems to be one of the better composites offered. The multi-colored tones and wood grain texture better mimic natural wood but it is more durable and has a much lower maintenance cost.

You should pick this product if you plan on staying in the location you are installing it. The value of this product continues to grow the longer you are able to use it. You are more likely to get tired of the style before this decking needs to be replaced.

I did a few tests with my sample and have included pictures with this review. The board was about 12” and approximately 2 lb 8oz. I took a picture of the top texture, and the bottom. I also included a photo showing the texture of the deck after taking 80 grit sandpaper and performing 30 swipes under moderate pressure, as well as slicing the surface with a razorblade.

I used a deck screw through the surface to observe the puckering at the fastening point. Overall I’m impressed with this board. I would recommend getting the hidden fasteners because they don’t damage the surface and look very clean.

As an added bonus, if you have the money for a curved deck, this board can do that. You can use this board for most applications/ creative applications.

I replaced all of the horizontal boards (>1500 board feet) on my deck, including stairs with Trex Transcend. I simple got tired of re-staining the wood every 2-3 years. I stained all of the vertical wood to come close to the appearance of the Trex.

I did all of the work by myself. I thought installation was relatively easy. Aside from a few boards that were delivered with flaws (they were replaced at no charge), I encountered no problems with the boards aside from some minor warping.

That was easily corrected during installation. They do scratch – I hit one with the router and I have one where a still spinning saw blade touch it. I replaced the one and left the other. They are slippery when wet, maybe a little more than the wood, but not much.

They seem much warmer in direct sunlight, but that’s not much of a factor on our shady deck. I used the solid stain on the cut ends of some of the boards and, for now, it looks great. Not sure how long the stain will last, but the cut ends accepted the stain very well.

This requires maintenance, but not like that. Now I have to figure out an easy way to get walnut stains off of Trex.

We are planning on building a deck on the back of our home and we have been looking at sample boards and trying to find the perfect one we both like. Well, I got this Trex Sample- Island Mist and absolutely love the look, it looks like real wood with grain effects and the color is perfect.

It is really heavy and I am pleased to say it protects against rot, warp, termites and splintering. It is backed with a 25 year limited residential stain and fade warranty. Another big factor in my decision is it is made with 95% recycled materials.

To me that is awesome! I highly recommend to anyone whom is planning on building a porch, deck or any type of outdoor flooring to consider Trex, you will not be disappointed.
