20 Best Damn Pork Chops Air Fryer (2023 Updated)

I have a Breville oven with air fry but wanted a basket style for things that are messy so I wouldn’t be scrubbing baked-on grease off the walls. Basket style air fryers are easier to clean. I’ve had other basket air fryers in the past and the biggest gripe I had was you can’t how the food is coming along unless you open it and let the heat out.

The window has mostly solved that problem. If you are cooking something in a tall pan or dish inside you can’t really see anything but the side of the container, but for things you cook directly in the basket it’s fine.

The controls are logical and easy to use and the knob makes changing the time and temp fast. I like that it gives you a progress bar like the newer Instant Pot models. It does beep quite a lot which can be annoying but the beeps aren’t super loud.

Cleanup is simple. The instruction manual states not to wash the basket in the dishwasher. Dishwashing detergent is hard on nonstick coating so you probably don’t want to do that anyway. Don’t use aerosol spray either as the propellant degrades nonstick material.

Make sure you follow the first use procedure in the manual and run it without food so it can burn off the manufacturing smell. Otherwise your first meal will taste like plastic. I didn’t notice a smell after the first run.

As someone who is health-conscious, I’m always looking for ways to innovate my home cooking, but I’m also a creature of comfort. I love the taste of fried foods, and can’t completely give them up. I’ve only had the Cosori – Pro 5. 8 quart Air Fryer for a short time and I already love it. I’ve never owned an air fryer before , so I was quite skeptical as how the food would turn out. With grandkids in the house always wanting chicken nuggets and it 90 outside, I hated turning on the oven to bake them.

so I tried my new air fryer and to my surprise, everything turned out delicious. Nice and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, just like the kids like them and no heated up kitchen. I’ve also cooked other foods and everything turned out great.

I love the fact that it has so many pre-set buttons that take the guess work out. It’s easy to clean and you can cook a little at a time or a lot for the whole family with the large 5. 8 quart basket.

I’m so glad to have tried this air fryer and recommend to everyone. It’s very easy to use.

Overall, very happy with this product. Food such as sausages, wieners and marinated chicken always come out delicious. Cleaning the grill plate is not easy. I purchased liners from Amazon and that has helped.

Also spraying with Dawn Ultra Platinum Powerwash helps too. My grill plate became scratched up from scrubbing. My warranty was up, but I emailed Dash customer support and happily was sent a new one at no cost to me.

Dash stands by their products so I highly recommend their products.

Quality of finish is poor. numbers and dots on timer rub off completely I substituted with my own dots. The non-stick coating is too thin. Performance is superior. I use a silicone insert tray to cook my food in it always cooks evenly.

Love this product otherwise so replaced with the digital version and gave the 1st one to my neighbor who’s thrilled with it.

I was so excited to use this air fryer, but after a single wash the crisper tray’s silicone tab fell off (possibly lost down the drain). I hope it does not clog up my dishwashing system! The instruction book, per page 5 & page 14 says “Do not remove silicone tabs.

” This is a faulty design, where the tabs do NOT attach to the crisper tray. People be aware. this could have been a choking hazard if it so easily falls off, when scooping out your food. I only used it 2 times!!!! I am so mad.

First Impression: When I first opened the product I noticed how small and compact it is. I was aware that it is the smallest of the line at 1. 7qt but was surprised by its sleek design. It looks great on the counter with everything else and I love the copper look of it as well.

The touch screen is easy to use and clean. The lights are bright and you can see and make out of all of the options clearly. In the box: It comes with everything you need to get it going but what I thought was super handy was the recipe book as well as a quick guide that gives you a quick reference as to what temperature and timing is needed to cook common items like chicken nuggets, french fries, raw chicken and other meats, vegetables, and a whole lot more.

It is very handy to have when you are first using this product. Cooking: We love cooking in our home and I’ve personally been wanting to get an air fryer since they started becoming popular but I never pulled the trigger.

We prepare our kid’s food for school every morning. And one item that is commonly cooked for them is chicken nuggets. With the morning rush of trying to get them ready and cooking their food, this think makes that much easier.

It is a ‘Set it and forgot it’ type of product. I can load up the nuggets and start the machine and run off and do something and come back 8 minutes later and the food is piping hot and ready to go. On that note, the nuggets taste so much better and are crispy in the air fryer.

Home made fries are amazing in this unit as well! The list goes on! Cons: After about a week of usage I really do not see any defect or con in this product. The only thing I wish is that it was bigger.

This is a small unit so if you have a big family and want to make family meals in it, you will have to get a bigger size. This item is great for snacks and maybe 1 or 2 person meals. Final Thoughts: I did receive this product free in exchange for reviews but I can honestly say it is amazing and worth every penny.

If you’re in the market for an air fryer, GoWISE should be your only option! I absolutely love this air fryer! For starters, it is a smaller size which is perfect for smaller portions or side dishes! The touch screen has no delay and is a very nice touch to such an awesome product! It features the following options; air fry, reheat, keep warm, frozen and toast.

It goes up to 400 degrees, is a beautiful mint color, feels very sleek and has an insert with holes for food circulation. I warm my fryer up first before I make anything and seriously makes all the difference! It’s a much more convenient and messier way to prepare snacks for my kids! All the crumbs collect in the bottom and make it easier to clean out.

After awhile, if you don’t wash it, the sides get a little gross. I don’t stick under water but will wipe with a wet rag and dry out. Cooking anything is a breeze! You even have a max line, which I never come close to even going over.

My food comes out crunchy too! The sound is very low so it’s not disturbing to anyone around you, just make sure it is in a well ventilated area. I have used it at home and traveling with no complaints.

I have loved this airfryer and have been raving about it to friends; the food I’ve cooked in it tastes really good, much better than in the conventional oven, and it is easy to use. It’s been less than a year since I’ve had it, however, and I’ve found the non-stick crisper tray has gotten harder and harder to clean, despite my using parchment paper.

At this point, I cannot get the tray clean even after soaking it for hours, so I will have to buy a new crisper tray, the price of which is 1/4 of the price I paid for the airfryer! Also, the crisper tray is not currently available on the website.

Because of this problem, I am no longer recommending this brand.

I learned about Cosori on YouTube while researching air fryers. I purchased the Cosori Premium 5. 8 model and am so glad I did. The initial steps to prepare the unit for daily use were easy to follow and I did not experience any smells or smoke as I did with other air fryers.

It is not as loud as a couple of other air fryers I have tried. QVC is not shown on the list of approved sellers, so I just entered “other” and I was able to register it. I got a confirmation that the warranty has been extended for an additional year giving me a total of a two years’ coverage.

I love the size and shape of this unit and have already used it for vegetables, chicken, steak and appetizers. The accompanying cookbook is really nice and accessibility to the Cosori “family” provides a wealth of recipes, information and tips.

This unit is well made and solid and is not heavy. As with all of my non-stick appliances, I wash the baskets by hand. All of my appliances with non-stick containers look like new. I love the pre-sets and the ability to customize the temperature and time manually.

After comparing prices, this air fryer is a great choice in terms of value, quality and ease of use. Wish QVC would offer more Cosori products. I highly recommend this air fryer.

CosoriPro XLS II Smart 5. 8 qt. Black Digital Air Fryer is absolutely the best air fryer I’ve ever owned and I’m in love with this air fryer!! This wonderful air fryer makes cooking very easy and fun! It is a great size for my family of 5.

I have had it for about two weeks and I have made various chicken dishes, lots of vegetables and potatoes, and even reheated pizza. Everything that I have tried in the air fryer has been so easy to make, cooked very quickly and the taste is absolutely great! It is very easy to use and the instruction booklet is very helpful and simple to understand.

I also love that it comes with a recipe book! I am looking forward to trying some of those new recipes. The basket has been very easy to clean and is dishwasher safe which really makes clean up easy! It also has an app that can connect the air fryer to your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant which is absolutely GREAT! Everything can be controlled via the app and Bluetooth.

It alerted me when the air fryer was done preheating, and then I was able to set it to start cooking with a simples press of a button, then the app sent another alert when it was done. Never have to leave the couch when using the app.

The basket shape inside is round and very small. Not enough room to crisp up veggies such as okra. An air fryer needs to provide space to shake your food around to make sure all foods are cooked properly and especially crisp if that’s what you’re going for.

For me, that’s exactly what I wanted. So I returned this due to the fact it cannot cook a family portion of veggies to a proper crisp. I wouldn’t recommend this size or shape even if you’re using it for 1 person.

It would simply take to long to cook and crisp. The plus side, it looks pretty.

I purchased this item Sept 10, 2020. The product stopped working January 2021. Target. com could not replace the item based on the 90-day return window. Target. com advised me to contact the manufacturer.

When I contacted the manufacturer, I had to pay $22. 50 shipping and handling for a new air fryer that will not come with a basket. When the product was working, it cooks items well. However, there is something wrong with the presets.

When selecting a mode of cooking the machine changes to air fryer and the temperature and time changes. For example, when the preset BAKE is selected, there is a prompt to set temperature , time, and start.

After selecting desired temperature time and start, the cooking mode changes to AIR FRY. BAKE preset is the best way to cook everything without overcooking items. I would not recommend this air fry.

This night be a great product if I purchased lots of prepared or frozen food products. Additionally, I have a toaster oven that also has a convection setting which is the same technology. I also have microwave with a convection option.

Too many of the same technology and don’t need to have a counter appliance taking up valuable real estate. So I returned the air fryer. Would recommend to others that don’t have convection technology presently.

This air fryer is just wonderful. It has so many great features, and it somehow cooks more perfectly than any other air fryer I’ve ever used/owned. The food I have made in it so far always comes our perfect and tasting so much better than ever before.

Of course I love that I can control it with my phone, along with the other cool features the app has to offer. Another thing I really love about it is the shake feature. If you tell it to, it will remind you to shake your food halfway through the cooking time, which is probably why everything has come out so perfect so far.

It had a preheat setting which is easy to use. All controls are very straight forward and user-friendly. It also comes with a cookbook with SO many delicious looking recipes I can’t wait to try! I have never air fried before. It is a learning curve on the techniques. After reading the instructions, I ran out to look for a oil spray bottle. I could not find one in stock so I used a regular sprayer from the dollar store.

I used veggie oil. Olive oil has the wrong smoking level. I thought it would be easiest to try frozen fries because they are inexpensive to experiment. After washing and drying the food resevoir, I sprayed the oil and dumped in the fries.

Ran it for a few minutes and the results were so-so. Obviously I needed a little more direction and watched some you tube videos. They were invaluable. Apparently I put in too many fries and didn’t shake the contents.

Avocado was recommended. My second try using the fryer was more successful. The results are not like McDonalds but are acceptable. I am going to try some other foods. The machine is easy to use and clean up.

You should keep it at least 6 inches from the wall to let the air circulate. So far I really like the fryer.

Love having an air fryer that has different options for cooking. It works very well. I personally don’t use the ever present microwave oven and hope that one day it will be an air fryer over my stove instead of a microwave.

I live alone and meal prep often. This is the perfect size for me and it’s extremely easy to use. My only complaint would be the temperature only goes up by 10 and a lot of recipes have settings at 375, 385, etc.

Air fryers have sort of become the new “go to” kitchen gadget. They seem to be popular and affordable and everyone seems to have one these days. I had an older Ninja version that I loved. It was revolutionary for my wife and I in being able to cook our favorite foods quickly, and healthier than filling a pan with oil and cooking in fat or risking burns to your skin.

I picked up this new version because it has larger “baskets” to hold more food, and has a food thermometer which is amazing. This new version continues to impress, and is a welcome addition. The things I continue to love about this air fryer and other Ninja food air fryers, is the ability to “dual cook” whatever you have going in both baskets.

You can either “match cook” to have both baskets have the same timer so things are exactly evenly cooked, or you can set it so one basket starts, then the other basket starts on its own maybe a few minutes later (depending on what you are making) in order for both foods to finish at the exact same time.

This is brilliant technology. The “new new” feature with this that I didn’t have on my older Ninja Air Fryer is the built in thermometer. I’m not sure how much roasting of chickens or steak or whatever large meat sources that require a thermometer to check the “doneness” I will actually do in the future, but it’s a welcome addition.

Usually I would just use a grill outside for chicken but in the winter I’m sure I can be persuaded to use this more often than the stove since cleanup is alot easier with this air fryer. I used a 5 lb chicken breast just for this feature and it works as advertised.

Set the “cook” setting to roast, insert the thermometer, and that sides bucket will turn off automatically when it reaches the required temperature. You choose “chicken” in the settings before you start cooking so it knows the temperature it’s looking for.

Also what makes these great is the included crisper plates at the bottom of the baskets. They obviously are used to fry the foods and make them crispy and delicious, but they also pop out and make cleanup easy and simple.

Much easier than having to clean a grill or the inside of an oven. Overall as usual with Ninja products this comes very much recommended. Can’t go wrong with this air fryer.

The Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 XL Air Fryer is an excellent multi-purpose appliance that will likely supplant several other countertop cookers in your kitchen.

I have only just started using this Cosori Original Air Fryer but like it a lot so far. It’s very easy to clean, and I got some perforated parchment sheets online that will make it even easier. The first Cosori I bought was digital and did not work properly even though it was brand-new and un-used, in the original box with all the packing and paperwork.

I could not get a refund for it (the seller was not “approved” or some such excuse) so I am saving it for parts — the basket and heating unit are interchangeable with the Original so I will keep it on hand for future emergencies.

These units get great reviews and the Cosori facebook page has a lot of wonderful-sounding recipes, so hopefully my air fryer will last a long time and the extra parts won’t be needed.

I have owned at least 8 air fryers in my time. I don’t care for digital air fryers, too many beeps. Most were hard to clean or just too small. This air fryer is the best of them all. Easy to use, clean and the size is great.

I love the manual settings and the only beep you will hear is at the end of cooking. Love Love Love this baby! Plus it looks great on the counter.

We have owned this air fryer for 3 months and I’m amazed how much we use it. The fan is very loud but my husband always knows when I’m ready to try a new recipe. Made chicken kabobs today and they were delicious.

I love the fact that we can take our favorite recipes and change them into a healthy version that requires very little oil. If I ever have to replace it, I will buy the digital version, I think it would be easier to program.

TLDR: air fryers are great, but the Instant Vortex should be avoided My wife and I really enjoy using our Instant Pot because it’s fast, convenient, has many options for type of cooking and is very well built, so when we decided to get an air fryer, the Instant Vortex was an easy pick.

However, we quickly learned that the Vortex is not the same kind of innovative and well made product we had come to expect. Out of the box, we were a bit disappointed to see that there were no sample recipes to try, unlike our Instant Pot.

Also, the power cord is fixed, rather than removable like on our Instant Pot which we appreciate because it makes it easier to store when not in use. The interface on the Vortex uses cheaper feeling capacitive buttons and the piano black and brushed black plastic finish doesn’t look nearly as nice as the brushed stainless finish on our Instant Pot.

The basket of the Vortex and the included grate are very thin sheet metal with a non-stick coating on them, while the Instant Pot includes a thick stainless steel pot. Initial impression was that the Instant Vortex might not even be made by Instant, it might just be a rebranded air fryer because the quality of the product was nothing like what you get with an Instant Pot.

For our first use of the Instant Vortex, we decided to make chicken wings and french fries at the same time, an ideal combo for this air fryer. Since the maximum temperature the Vortex will go to is 400 Fahrenheit but the fries required 450, we set the timer a bit longer than the stove cooking directions for the fries and keep an eye on them through the cooking process.

To our surprise the chicken wings and french fries cooked quicker than they would have in a stove and at a lower temperature. The fries were golden and crispy, and the wings cooked through and had a wonderful crunchy coating like you’d expect from an oil fryer.

After washing the basket and grate with a soft soapy brush and rinsing them, we placed the basket on our stove to dry before putting it back into the fryer. Our puppy decided to inspect the basket and knocked it off the stove, snapping the poorly constructed handle off.

My wife contacted Instant about getting a new handle but they informed me that no replacement parts were available for the Vortex, so they offered to sell her a new unit for a discounted price, which she did.

With our new Vortex, we noticed after about 20 uses that the non-stick coating on the grate was wearing off, which had us worried about consuming the Teflon coating, so we stopped using the grate. We again contacted Instant, this time to see about a replacement grate for our newer fryer and a handle so we could fix our older fryer so we could give it to my parents.

Once again we were informed that there were no replacement parts available for the Vortex, so Instant offered to send us a third Vortex for free. Our experience with our Instant Vortex has been very bitter-sweet.

Over the course of a year, we’ve gone through 3 units and while air-fried food is wonderfully crispy, fast cooking and healthier than traditionally fried foods, the Vortex itself is a very poorly built product.

My wife’s parents have a T-Fal Actifry which has worked well for them for a few years, and it has an agitator to continually stir the food during cooking so you don’t have to repeatedly shake the basket like you do on the Vortex.

We ended up selling the third Vortex that we got and will be putting that money towards a different air fryer, something better built.

So there is definitely was a difficult time in choosing an air fryer because as you know, there are so many to choose from. So many price variables and claims to what each fryer can do. In my case, I just wanted real crispy potatoes and real crispy chicken, along with my roasted vegetable that I have been doing in the oven for a while.

I also wanted something simple to use. I didn’t want to sit down and take a course in learning how to use the unit. This Instant Pot Air Fryer, push air fry, push time-adjust with dial, then push temp-adjust with dial and start.

That’s it. During the process it will beep to add food and beep part way through to remind you to stir the food. Simple and the results for me are very satisfying. So this machine is everything that I was searching for.

Perfect fries. For frozen fries, I don’t add anything and the results after 15-20 mins on 400 are amazing. For fresh potato fries, I will use a small amount of oil in a bowl to coat the potatoes and BOOM.

So I surely would recommend it. If this holds up anything like the pressure cookers, then this will be another solid item. I do have a toaster oven air fryer by Cuisinart and for those of you who are looking to which one is better, the instant air fryer makes it crispier.

The Cuisinart does hold more food I find. Instant fryer is much easier to clean than the other one. This is Rob approved.

This is the best airfryer! We purchased 3 airfryers in less than a year, but this one is a keeper! We had a smaller one, a different brand, which was okay but we wanted one that was shaped more like a countertop toaster oven.

We gave away our first one, and purchased a stainless steel one that sits on the counter and opens up like a little oven. Terrible idea and we immediately regretted that. We stuck with it because we had been through 2 in a short time, but about 6 months later I surprised my husband with this one for Christmas last year.

We still use it pretty much every day. It does take up a lot of counter space, so I make everyone put it up when they’re done with it. It cooks to perfection. There’s lots of room inside, and I can cook about half a bag of frozen fries at a time.

It’s super easy to clean, most stuff comes out with just a wipe of a paper towel but for the crusty stuff, I just hit it with warm water and a scrub brush and it just slides off. This air fryer is great quality, cooks everything perfectly, and is the best value for your money that you may find.

I have owned for a litte over two months now and use daily in the am for potatoes with my breakfast. Tots and hash browns turn out really, really perfect! I have making some meats, and reheating some food and all turned out really good as well.

Pizza got crispy bottom and foods were fully reheated, unlike with the microwave. I also tried the dehydrator function and as it did work pretty well but it is something that I need to play with a bit more and get the science down of that method.

The one thing that bugs me about this machine is the touch screen buttons are a bit finicky sometimes and need multiple attempts to push to change. It also isn’t terribly, annoyingly loud, compared to another air fryer I have used.

It’s not dead silent but I can run it without it being more than white background noise. All in all, I love this machine and think it works really well and would recommend to someone in the market for a multi-use machine.

I will say the app from them sucks as it doesn’t really give you much air fryer recipes and doesn’t really filter out the results too well. I really wish the machine came with some basic guideline recipes/times for the dehydrator and food but so it goes.

I bought it because I wanted to try air frying foods and I had some gift cards. 1) it’s VERY small. You cannot fit a whole chicken. (Costco bag of 3 whole chickens, not a single one fits) 2) Strong smell of plastic for the first several usages and it really permeates for a long time (days) 3) Buttons are rage inducing and completely non-deterministic.

You can tap it 10x and it might register once or twice. I find that if one button doesn’t want to be ‘pressed’, you can press another one and then go back to the original one. It seems to be caused by bad software, but hardware is possible too.

The most honest way to describe this item would be: Easy bake oven for adults. On the bright side, it warms up VERY quickly (up to 400F) and does a decent job at cooking and reheating certain things like frozen foods, fish filets, etc.

I use it mostly as a toaster oven for hash browns, occasional fries and fish filets. I did a comparison between my deep fryer and this item for fried chicken. Half the batch went in the oil and the other half in the Vortex air fryer.

The chicken in the deep fryer was perfect and delicious whereas the chicken in the air fryer was absolutely NOT crispy, took much longer to cook and the meat was dry. I feel like the marketing behind ‘Air Fryer’ is not based in reality and should be investigated for being misleading.

I really like the vortex plus. Not sure why there is a complaint about it’s overall quality. I have cooked roasts, pork loins and small chickens in half the time of a conventional oven. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 5 is because of 4 specific reasons.

1) my biggest annoyance about this model is the obnoxiously loud and high pitched beeping sound (that makes my whole family cover their ears) when turning it on, setting the time and temp, the “ready for food” alert, the “almost done/check food” alert, and the “done” alert.

The fan is also very loud, sounds like a very loud microwave 2) you get 2 trays but can only use one at a time because it does not cook evenly. 3) unlike most other air fryers/ portable cookers, it needs to preheat so you have to put the tray, rotisserie basket or stick on an alternative surface while it preheats; very inconvenient, especially with raw meat.

The temp goes to high for preheat to put the food in first. 4) because it preheats first, getting the rotisserie basket or stick in place can be a challenge since it is so hot.

I have always wanted an air fryer after hearing everyone’s raving reviews, and boy were they right! This Cosori Pro II Air Fryer is amazing quality, easy to use, so much faster than using the oven, and makes amazing food.

I love that there is an easy to use panel of touch buttons on the front with programmable presets. This makes it so fast to cook a variety of foods with the touch of a button. It came with a thick recipe book and tips for cooking times depending on the type of food which is so helpful.

You can make almost everything in this from bread to bacon! So far we have used it to make frozen foods, meats, homemade French fries, and our excitement over what we can try next drives us to find new recipes for dinners.

The preheat is only 5 minutes and this thing cooks sooooo fast. It has a sleek design that holds a lot of food, and you can even purchase trays and things to cook certain foods easier. The food comes out crispy and delicious and is easy to make multiple batches since it cooks so quick.

There isn’t a single thing I would change about this product, I think it’s amazing!.

We thought this would be nice way to reduce some clutter in the cabinet. After trying it out, we were wrong. It will be going in the trash. While this seems like a nice addition to the instant pot, it does not even come close to comparing to a traditional air fryer.

I’m not sure why there were so many good ratings for this product. Maybe they have not owned a “true” air fryer. First, there’s not very much room for air frying. I guess if you were making only 12 french fries or something, it would be ok.

We could fit an entire bag in our traditional air fryer and cook them without any issues. Second, you cannot just shake your fries around like with a traditional air fryer basket. The handles on this “basket” are hard to grab with pot holders on.

Third, it seems to take longer than a traditional air fryer. I would save your money and just get a regular air fryer. Although it might take up some more cabinet space, it’s way better than this attatchment for your Instant Pot.

I first dipped a toe into “air frying” with a cheap barrel-shaped oven that is a common design among air fryers, and I was impressed at how quickly it was able to bring a crisp or caramelized effect to foods.

I wasn’t too impressed with the space it took up, vertically and otherwise, nor am I crazy about kitchen appliances that are only brought out to do one task, so I’ve spent the years since trying various toaster ovens that claim to be able to air fry.

Some accomplish this in ways that come close to the speed of a dedicated air fryer, but none which I’ve used are as slow as this fryer lid. I’ve done several batches of frozen fries with it, but it always takes longer than recommended to bring a crisp texture to them; comparable to oven baking, but with a much smaller capacity.

The Instant Pot itself is a nice tool to have, making pressure cooking, which is speedy and often a one-pot meal solution, an approachable experience to a lot of people. I get why so many people seem to be Instant Pot fans.

Furthermore, I understand that the fryer lid is handy if you want to brown meats or something, and prepare everything in one pot. But as an air fryer, it lags behind the better convection toaster ovens, which I get use out of every day, and it lacks the capacity of a regular stove.

It’s priced comparably to an entry-level air fryer, which I think would do a more efficient job. I can’t imagine this would be a necessity to anyone with a stove, unless they were so in love with their Instant Pot that they can’t imagine using anything else.

This is almost perfect IF you have a 6 qt Instant Pot (most but not all are compatible), aren’t making large batches of air-fried foods too often, and don’t want another appliance taking up space. The lid itself is bulky, so if you use it daily and don’t store it away each time, either this or the original pressure-seal lid will be taking up some counter space.

The instructions are minimal, but once you get the hang of it, you can see why: It cooks/browns most things so quickly that you just need to keep an eye on things to know when they’re done to your liking.

This is very easy, as lifting the lid stops the cooking and replacing it over your Instqnt Pot starts it back where it left off. The control panel is as simple as they come: pick a function and adjust the time and temp up or down.

You can change it as you go or just hit cancel and start over. The fry basket handles are a bit hard to grip in my silicone “mits,” but thankfully the lid comes with a round pad so you can set it down, give your food a shake, and heat for a few more minutes as needed.

I was a little disappointed at first that you have to fry pretty small quantities (an overlapping layer but not much more) to allow air circulation around food, but when each batch takes only a few minutes and preheating is all butinstantaneous, this doesn’t feel like a burden.

I roasted a whole head of cauliflower in 3 batches in about the same time it would take on a large pan in my oven but didn’t heat up the whole kitchen and used less than half the oil. For single servings, this will be great!.

Received this little Air FrYer from my daughter for Christmas/ Up until now have only used for heating up small thing & French Fries. So this weekend I decided to use it to make a batch of chicken wings.

Set on 375 for 6 minutes x2. It cooked them fie, but then the machine totally blacked out. No power what so ever. Totally disapointed, because I really liked this appliance. Now I have to go out and buy somthing else.

I bought this item mostly because of the reviews. I had a convection oven for more than 20 years and was still working, but it looked beaten down and I wanted to upgrade. Since my grandson is staying with me for a while, I thought to get an air fryer because he makes a lot of potato fries.

First of all, when I unpacked the air fryer I saw that the rotisserie spit was the wrong size for the rotisserie basket. I called the company phone number and spoke with a representative who sent me an e-mail asking for a lot more information than I thought was necessary.

Anyway I sent the information. She wrote back to say they were out of that part but would send it when it came in. The next day I tried cooking some potato fries and it took about 15 minutes before hot air came out of the fryer.

A couple days later, no hot air came out after 30 minutes. I packed up the fryer and returned it.

Ive had mine for two years and use it 3 to 4 times a week. I bought two more as gifts and both recipients rave about theirs. Very versatile and efficient way to make delicious and quick meals. Especially enjoy roasted vegetables and meats/ seafood.

Theres a bit of a learning curve to adjust cooking times to suit your taste. The manufacturer backed their product when I had a minor issue with mine by replacing it (free) with another brand new one and let me keep the original as well.

I highly recommend this product.

We’ve had this oven for about a month, and so far, it has far exceeded my expectations. The last time we owned a toaster oven was close to 20 years ago, and it was just that, a toaster oven. This unit is really a small kitchen oven with more functionality.

I wish my large oven worked like this. We tend to use the kitchen oven a lot, and about 5 years ago, I started looking at getting a camp oven to use outside in the summer to avoid heating the house. We don’t have AC, and baking in the summer is out of the question.

The problem was that camp stoves are rather large externally with small interiors and use propane. I didn’t know where I would store it when it wasn’t in use. A friend mentioned that she used a toaster oven to bake, which I admit was a new concept to me.

Our old toaster oven would have never been able to bake. So I started researching small countertop ovens and came across the Breville. This is the first Breville appliance we’ve owned, and it won’t be the last.

The size is perfect for a 9×13 casserole dish, and I can fit my 7. 25 qt dutch oven in with no problems. Since we’ve owned it, we’ve used it almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I’ve baked bread in it, used the air fryer, broiled burgers, slow-cooked, and re-heated.

I love how easy it is to turn the knob to the function I want and adjust the time as needed. I found that the suggested times are usually too short, but it gave me a good idea of where to start. I also appreciate that it tells me what rack to use for the best results and that so many trays were provided.

I’m used to having to buy everything separately these days, so I appreciated it came with what I needed. Plus it’s super easy to clean. The pull-out drip pan is genius. I was going to get the version down from this without the “smart feature,” but my 14-year-old son talked me into this one because he really likes to cook and felt that he would use the app recipes.

I will say the app is really nicely done. The layout is really easy to use, and the recipes are easy to follow. For new cooks, it’s great because it even has videos of how to do each step. And it has a timer/alarm in the app, which comes in handy because we set this oven up in our garage to not heat up the house.

I planned on this being a summer oven, but now that we’ve used it, I think this is going to be a year-round thing. The only thing I wish was different is the cooking timer. When you start the oven, you select the feature you want, like bake and then the time, and then it preheats.

Often I go outside to get it preheated and then step inside to get whatever it is I’m going to cook and then come back out. Well as soon as it’s done preheating the cooking timer starts so if I’m not there to put my dish in, the cooking time is partially already used up.

This is really only a very minor complaint. It just means I have to re-adjust my cooking time (no biggie). I will say, though, that it turns off as soon as that time is done, so you may have to turn the oven back on if your dish isn’t done.

I could see that some people might be annoyed with this, but I appreciate it because I want that safety feature if my teenager forgets he has something in the oven. Well done, Breville!.

This counter top oven is in a class by itself. I have had it for months now and I barely use my main oven anymore. The air fry setting enables you to get pro results. The fan has two speeds and is available in Roast and Bake modes as well.

You get a uniform heat chamber without hot spots. The slow cook feature is worth the price of admission. You can cook baby back ribs for 6 hours and then finish on the grill for restaurant quality tenderness.

You can proof, reheat, dehydrate and keep warm. The toast function is the weak point because if you put the toast on the center rack to toast both sides it takes around five minutes to toast bread. The broil function is really powerful.

The controls are really well thought out and super simple to use. The intelligent features are amazing too. The alerts show up on your phone and your watch which is super cool. The app makes it very simple to make all kinds of appetizers, main dishes and desserts.

It is more expensive than most but you quickly forget about that because it is such a delight to use. The build quality is everything you expect from Breville. Highly recommended.

We (I) cook a lot. We have gone through numerous countertop cooking appliances. Really. Including small WOLF brand ovens. I am so pleased – but kinda annoyed at myself for NOT getting this sooner, It more evenly bakes, broils and AIRFRYs FASTER than ANY countertop oven we tried.

It more evenly bakes and air fry(s) than the WOLF by crazy amounts, It’s quieter. It pumps out LESS heat but heats up faster and cooks super evenly. The little WiFi pop up notifications from the app are MARVELOUS! You folks hit it out of the park.

I thought I saw one of your ovens do steam cooking too,. but the staff at Williams Sonoma had no idea what I was talking about. I was problem WRONG. Anyway,…. Out of all the ovens I have owned AND researched (oooh boy that was BONKERS) your oven far exceeds all expectations.

Really. It’s much quieter on super convection than the monster wolf oven,. plus it heats up WAAAAAY faster. CONGRATS MATE. The shrimp no longer has to be abused on the barby- toss that sucker in the Breville and DO IT RIGHT!.

I first came across the air fryer when my ex boyfriend and I where together. I do a lot of parties and I was doing a party but didn’t have anything specific in mind as a host gift at the time. My ex boyfriend being a very active cook and who also loved was wanting the fryer.

I told him if he paid for it I would get so its what happened. When we got it and started unboxing it OMG all the attachments you got as a hostess was wonderful, but had not used it we would see. He took his current airfryer off the counter and put it way in a cabinet, told him don’t put that too far back in case I need it.

Well mise well have thrown the thing away, the airfryer was AMAZING. I loved it and did almost everything in that thing, don’t think there was a meal we didn’t use it. We broke up since he paid for it he got that along with more stuff that should have taken because I had purchased but it’s all good.

But sure did miss that dang fryer, was working with a consultant that I think she was getting to the point she just didn’t care anymore because I kept asking her when did a party what is the hostess number for the airfryer because it had all the extras it was a little more than the other one but could never get straight answers out of her, after having a couple people book parties off of me and them not happy with her professionalism I found the wonderful consultant have now!!!! I had another party but did not go with the hostess version of the airfryer because it was on sale already but all the appliances where on sale so I went with the cooking blender as a hostess gift and bought the airfryer.

I am a traveling Healthcare worker and have not been home a lot but I now live with my daughter when not traveling and she is totally in love with the airfryer. I can’t wait to be home a little to try the new cooker blender! I also have the multi cooker.

I so can not wait to get my fifth wheel camper to start unpacking all my stuff that have been stocking up to fill what will be my home eventually! But in meantime also helping my daughter collect Pproducts and she of course is loving the products as well!!!.

Incredibly disappointed to learn that I spent so much on the deluxe air fryer only to find out that less than 2 years later (10/31/2020) when it is having a mechanical issue (with proper care, cleaning, and usage) they do NOT cover your product for repair or replacement past 1 year.

The phone representative told us we’d just have to “have a party and purchase a new air fryer” and there was “nothing they could do. ” I used to think pretty highly of pampered chef products. They have a pretty great reputation over the years.

but this? This is the sign of my never purchasing another product from this company ever again, on top of my making sure no one else does, either. Not guaranteeing products to last is wrong and downright disappointing for such a long time name of kitchen products.

I will be looking to other brands and companies to replace my now totally unusable, nearly $300 machine that has been SO loved and now only stands on my counter as a reminder of how awful this company treats it’s consumer base.

I should have read all of the BBB and customer reviews prior to ever throwing our first party or purchasing from this company. It was our first (AND NOW OUR LAST) time. What a rip off to only have 1 year warranties and then just take people’s money.

Unbelievably frustrated by this. I don’t need the “we’re sorry, if there’s anything else we can do” speech, either, because it doesn’t fix this broken counter decoration, and I definitely have no need for more products that’ll just break and still never be guaranteed.

BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND!.

Pro: I actually really like this, even though I wasn’t sure I would find much use for it. I got it more on a whim-out of curiosity-boredom thing. My first impression was “glorified easy bake oven” but my opinion changed by day 2.

It immediately became a multiple times a day appliance used with similar frequency to my microwave. If it breaks, I will replace it. Foods that would get soggy/rubbery in the microwave turn out crispy and delicious in this.

Flavors are better. It is a fun appliance for someone that is a reluctant cook. It does so many different types of foods! I LOVE the versatility; baking, frying, roasting, heating, dehydrating, just all sorts of foods! I love it! Con: #1 major complaint – It does not have a power off switch! Instead it has an irritating blinking blue light where the time/temp while running is displayed.

The assumption is that you will clean it and pack it away between uses. I use it so much that I keep it on the counter and have had to add a power strip to turn it off between uses. VERY annoying & pointlessly so.

#2 complaint – I wish there were just a smidge more interior space. Advertisement is a little misleading; I can cook a game hen but a chicken is too big. Things cooked on the top rack may get a bit more done than the lower rack but over all works out if you trade places half way through.

It makes enough for 2 adults but I need to plan to run it twice to feed my whole family. However, it cooks fast enough that if I serve the first batch, we are ready for the second about when it is done, so we don’t actually end up waiting to eat.

#3 there is a lot of guesswork in figuring out the cook time/temperature since almost nothing has fryer instructions & the max temperature is 400′. but most of the time it works out if I run at 50% time and then add 25% Extra note: Be VERY careful if you are burn prone like I am.

it is very easy to accidentally make contact. I wish the removal device were rubberized for safer grip. The basket latch will lead to burns. The wire racks stay hot. It is just a HOT device. which is of course what makes it work so well but.

ouch. 🙁 ***BIG WISH? I really want a small drawer for this to sit on that I could store the spare pieces between uses, that had a power switch, and that helped mark the “breathing room” this device recommends.

Ideally it would slide forward so I could just pull it forward when I am ready to run it and slide it back into storage when not in use (that might even be a great on/off power switch?). Second additional tool? A cooling rack! I have burnt myself on trying to empty the rotisserie multiple times and it would be so helpful if there were a tray that had a stand for emptying the basket or holding the bird/skewers.

I could seriously draw up a sketch/mock design if anyone were interested in producing these accessory parts. ;).
