20 Best Dairy Free Meal Replacement Shakes (2023 Updated)

I stopped eating meat and junk about 2 months ago and started eating from plants, mostly seeded grapes, oranges, strawberries, and watermelon. I’m also a truck driver, 1 year and a half of trucking thus far being 22.

Let me tell ya, I’ve had a huge energy deficiency since 18 years young making it very difficult to work hard labor jobs like construction and concrete, while also making it very difficult to stay awake on the road for 8 to 10 hours a day, about 400 miles to some days even more.

My energy levels has made me fatigued against my will causing me to be late to my appointment times, delivering loads of parts to a warehouse. Lady in this warehouse recommended I try Ka’chava out before I talk with a sleep specialist.

She figured it was a nutrient problem. Apparently I may have had sleep apnea do to a nutrient deficiency. I bought the matcha bag and a bottle around 100 plus bucks for my first purchase and after have taken this product I can safely say it has actually helped me gain better quality sleep.

I feel more energetic and more awake. The 400 mile drive has not been a problem now after a few days of getting my nutrient balance. Mind you, I don’t eat very much anymore since I started a more simple diet that dosent involve much of anything other than what I listed, and I’m greatful to have been recommended this for a balance of nutrition.

Also it keeps me full for a few hours too, making my berry supply last a little longer, since I get hunger spikes commonly and I just can’t stop eating, I know soup keeps you full for a long time too being that I have a crazy fast metabolism and I require an abundance of fruit to satisfy my hunger, which would be roughly half a water melon a day, or 2 pounds of seeded grapes throughout the day.

I don’t eat gmo fruits, and I stay away from bread unless it’s amaranth grain, but ka’chava dosent have that which is alright. I try to keep goat products sometimes as a filler too, like goat cheese.

I’ll be buying more for my mother and my 2 sisters and another matcha bag for me soon. I believe in staying healthy, there are great benefits for keeping a healthy diet and eating from plants, it’s not really food, it’s all medicinal for each plant has different medicinal properties, nutrients, minerals, and vitamins.

I feel like I eat too much anyways, gluttony. I’m definitely not gaining weight though from eating but I just feel it. Thank you ka’chava and I look forward to what these enlightening and healthy bags of love has to offer down the road.

This stuff is absolutely amazing, it’s nutritious and it tastes good at the same time which is amazing. It is extremely easy to keep my macros balanced using this stuff which is amazing. I can’t eat meat anymore, it just does not appeal to me at all because the farming practices completely disgust me, so this stuff is amazing for helping me get all my protein in.

My favorite flavors so far are chocolate and matcha out of the 3 I’ve tried. This brings me to my next point in the title, this company really is amazing! The 3rd product was the coconut açaí, which I just didn’t like, it didn’t make me gag or anything, but I also didn’t like it.

So I contacted customer support, and was helped by Nel who was absolutely awesome and so helpful, I was so happy with how easy it was to exchange the product, and it got switched out for the chocolate.

Honestly the Matcha is good enough on it’s own for 5 stars, but it’s nice that this company has a line up that’s amazing so far. Even the coconut açaí which was my least favorite is better than a lot of protein powders I’ve had.

This is more than a protein powder too, which just makes it all the better. I am extremely broke right now and obese and struggling. For the past year every day I have felt sick and nauseous every morning, my diet was killing me.

I have been making massive changes, especially since march (100 lbs since march, over 140 total) and I am starting to feel so much better. A month ago I started weight training and without being able to eat meat I needed a good protein source that I could get down.

Discovering Ka’chava was great for me because I need to balance my macros as diet becomes food instead of enjoyment most of the time and as I said before this makes it easy. I have to say that I am hooked on Ka’chava now, with its balanced nutrition, excellent protein, and great taste it’s a no brainer.

I will probably increase how often I get it and will probably live of mostly Ka’chava for the next Couple months.

When it comes to flavor and nutrition Ka’Chava has the best flavor of any protein/meal/supplement shake that I have ever tried…. And there has been quite a few. One of the things I love is that they don’t use stevia … while stevia is natural I just don’t care for the flavor/aftertaste.

One of the great things about the vanilla flavor is that it is a blank canvas to create whatever flavor profile you wish or just have the vanilla plain. I love adding frozen bananas or frozen berries to this shake instead of or in addition to ice.

I have a Vitamix and this is perfect for the job and will actually result in a super thick shake that is so creamy and delicious. I also bought the chocolate flavor which is excellent as well and love to add dehydrated peanut butter and part of a frozen banana… super delicious summertime treat or meal.

I honestly think the biggest issue with this product is the cost. Unfortunately, Ka’chava ‘s price point does not allow for most individuals to be able to afford this product. I feel as though communities as whole are suffering or contending with food deserts (which will only get worse with global warming) and while this product would be such a wonderful addition to one’s diet it is not feasible for individuals on fixed incomes, and / or low income, or the “Average Joe” to be able to afford this product.

I would love to see Ka’chava make their products more affordable for individuals without compromising the quality of their products. I think in doing this more people will use their products which will make up for any loss in decreasing the cost.

I’ve been eating whole food plant based for the last two and a half years, and during this time I have tried just about every powder and pre made shake out there. Every one of them was either too gritty or had an unpleasant aftertaste or had both.

I had tried Orgain grassed shakes when I still eating a regularly diet and Enjoyed them. I tried the chocolate, plant based shakes and wasn’t a fan. I had resigned to the fact that maybe all plant based proteins tastes nasty and I would just have to learn to stomach it.

Well, on my last shopping trip to Costco, I saw tubs of Orgain Plant based Protein + Superfoods in Vanilla Bean and Chocolate flavor and decided to give it a try. I honestly didn’t have high hopes after remembering how bad the chocolate shakes were, but had ran out of protein at home, so I just went for it.

Well, I’m so glad I did! When I arrived home, I mixed two scoops with a about 8-10 oz almond milk…it was so yummy. The consistency was not gritty, it was creamy and the vanilla-spice flavor was absolutely delicious.

Then, I decided to give it the ultimate test. I dropped two scoops into 10 oz of water in my shaker and shook it up. To my surprise, it still mixed extremely well and tasted great, too. This is now my go-to protein for drinking and cooking.

Orgain is, overall, the best tasting plant based protein I’ve tried. No Cow is second and I prioritize this brand as they use sustainable packaging (aluminum that can be infinitely recycled) as well as a metal scoop.

Plastic is a plague on our society because of all the different colors, materials, and lack of infrastructure we have that places the burden on customers. Only about 9% of recyclables actually get recycled and plastic is problematic because it can only take so many times of being recycled.

Back to the flavor, though! This flavor needs to be made with black cocoa powder for it to taste like the cookies on the label. Your taste buds prepare themselves for that classic childhood flavor but all I really taste is sweet, gritty pea protein with a hint of vanilla.

I found it odd that I disliked this flavor so much as the Sweet Vanilla Bean flavor is amazing. This flavor, along with the chocolate salted caramel need to go back to the tasting room or perhaps retired or reinvented to another flavor as they are not nearly as successful as the Sweet Vanilla Bean or the chocolate fudge.

I started looking for vegan protein after gut problem with whey and whey isolates. Orgain was recommended online so I took a shot and tried the vanilla ones because vanilla is the best flavor for every brand.

I got tired of Vanilla and so I shopped around. I was also not happy with the calorie to protein ratio. I got 20g for 100 cal with Whey Isolate which is just 20 cal of non protein nutrients. Orgain is 21g for 150 cal.

Thats 66 cal on non protein. I then tried MyProteins vegan blend. They have brown rice which has cal to protein ratio on par with wheys. I also tried their pea+rice which is similar to Orgains comp. They were terrible.

They were so bad that I puked multiple times. I then came back to Orgain and bought one fudge and one peanut butter. I loved chocolate fudge with almond milk. However, the peanut butter was on another level in flavor masterclass.

Just amazing. I also thought a bit about the protein to calorie ratio. Every medical professional says to get protein from real sources like foods, etc. and then supplement with protein powder. The advantage of vegan protein with rice+pea blend means that theyre actually real sources of food rather than just protein extracts.

This means I can actually count for protein shake in my meal and feel better. Give it a shot. Almond milk is a must. Little calorie expenditure for amazing flavor.

I have been taking your vanilla and chocolate powder protein for couple of years now. I do enjoy them as part of my breakfast, I’m hot days I use ice and in cold days I use hot water to make a delicious thick drink.

I like to combine a scoop of each flavor, I feel that for me the chocolate alone is too strong. I gave my mother who is 88 years old, the vanilla protein to supplement her protein intake and she has been loving it for over two years now.

I am saddened that I have not received my vanilla cans in the last two months. Is there a production problem? I do however go the supermarket in town and pick it there. I would rather to receive it at home though.

I am so happy the chocolate protein powder came back in stock!! Today I ordered two cans for me and my husband. During the work week/weekends we blend up fresh smoothies w/ this added along w/ almond/coconut milk.

It has such a velvety texture and enjoy the chocolate taste. I have to say I really am pleased with the taste and the ingredients. My husband and I have a vegetarian diet (we still consume eggs; no meat/no dairy/no seafood) + eat/cook lots of vegan dishes also.

I am happy this is also gluten free and not full of fake/artificial flavors/fake sugar. My husband has IBS so we eat as clean as possible. This is my favorite powder powder I’ve ever had. Will continue to buy directly from your website.

Since starting breastfeeding, I’ve decreased the amount of dairy in my diet to help with my baby’s reflux. It’s so hard enough to find a vegan protein powder that doesn’t have a chalky consistency, and even harder to find one without any stevia (which I don’t like the taste of).

This protein powder is delicious, smooth, and sweet without being overwhelming. Before my morning walk, I will do either the powder and oatmilk in a shaker bottle or throw it in a blender with banana and nut butter.

I purchased the Mixed Berry. First off, YUCK. The taste is overly sweet, with a mild hint of Robitussin fake berry flavor. GROSS. Seriously. there is no way I could add any extra fruit to this shake.

Palm Oil? Atherosclerosis and HIGH cholesterol causing agent! WHY is this in a protein powder?? SUGAR? REALLY??? Uhm, why not use STEVIA? (although, women who are pregnant or wanting to become pregnant should NOT consume Stevia).

So, why not just NOT have any sugar or sweetner!. Let consumers add in REAL FRUIT instead! Carrageenan? That is a CHEAP FILLER which has been show to cause GUT INFLAMMATION and digestive tract damage.

WHY WHY WHY??? Sucralose? This is a CHEMICAL sweetner! It can increase your risk of IBS and Crohns Disease, amongst other things. WHY have it in here? What made me the most upset about this product being on QVC was the enthusiasm that Kirsten and the GNC shake rep showed for it.

Their excitement over how HEALTHY this product was, seemed very sincere. If I remember correctly, Kirsten said she used to be either a nutritionist or a personal trainer once — I can’t remember which.

Regardless of which it is, she should know that the above ingredients do NOT a healthy shake make! I can’t believe she would drink this herself, or offer it to her family. Another gripe of mine is that there is NO information stated on the container about where this protein powder is MADE.

?? Why not? It’s not listed on the GNC site, either. It took me a few calls to finally be told that it is “distributed from the USA”. Well, that is not the same thing as knowing where it is made. Multi ingredient foods and supplements can be “manufactured” in the usa, but the ingredients can also be sourced from China or any other country.

Consumers have a right to know, and while all of this info may not fit onto the label, one should be able to call the brand and get this information. I was told they had no available info on where the product was made, nor where the ingredients were from (all I wanted to know was were the ingredients from the USA or from another country, and where was the powder manufactured.

In a US plant? in China? where? No info was available. As a consumer, I feel I have the right to know. If you care about HOLISTIC HEALTH, do not use this protein powder. Do your research. There are much better tasting AND safer alternatives out there.

I hope QVC just didn’t do their research before allowing this product to be sold on their site, and not that they knew this product was unhealthy, but chose to carry it anyway. For a company who proports to care so much about CLEAN BEAUTY, how can qvc NOT care about CLEAN FOODS? Tip: Please make sure you also research lead contamination when looking for a WHEY based protein powder.

Most will contain some trace amounts, which the FDA claims is “safe”. Whey protein powder is effective and it’s what I use, but do try to find ones that are the most lead-FREE as possible. There are several sites which have protein powders rated.

Check them out before making your decision. On a good note, QVC’s customer service was great, and they immediately refunded me for this purchase. She also promised to send my comments on to a supervisor.

Was looking to try this to add to mine and the kids’ morning smoothies. I relied upon Kierstin’s presentation about how great this powder is and her explicitly stating that her son’s favorite flavor was Oreo which made it seem as if she frequently gives this to her kids.

After receiving this product, I find that really hard to believe. We made our first chocolate shakes this morning, adding a banana as usual. Both of my kids said there was a terrible aftertaste and one found the product to be undrinkable.

When I tried it myself, I understand what they mean. The aftertaste is one of heavy sugar substitute sweetener and synthetic, and the overall sweetness made it so hard to get down that I didn’t even finish my own – hard as I tried since I just naively spent a fortune on these things.

Also bought the Oreo flavor, but I’m sure the overpowering sweetness and sugar substitute flavor will be present there as well. More than anything I guess I’m upset that I’ve been a customer of QVC so long, I thought I could rely on certain people for certain presentations and that is clearly not the case.

There is no Quality or Value in this product. Only perhaps Convenience if you can tolerate it. Buyer beware.

Everyone’s taste buds are different. This has sucralose in it which I didn’t know before buying. I searched the label trying to find out. I thought it had actual sugar in it which I would prefer over the fake sweeteners.

Some people don’t mine sweeteners but I think the taste of the chocolate is icky and the aftertaste is still in my mouth 30 minutes after drinking it. Better to buy a plain organic whey (or other protein) and make your own shakes so that you control what’s in it.

The ingredients on this are a bunch of junk we shouldn’t be putting into our bodies. I’m sending mine back. That said, I found that the powder mixed very well in my Vitamix and I liked the light, frothy texture I got from mixing it that way.

I used plain, unsweetened almond milk. I’m going back to buying plain whey protein though, this stuff really is gross-tasting to me. You may like it but you should still read the ingredients and decide if you want that stuff in your body.

I don’t. I admit that I was pressured by the “this is going fast” pop-ups while I was trying to read review and the Q&A and check out the ingredients before I purchased. I gave in and ordered. For me, that was a mistake.

If you don’t like the taste of this and that’s why you leave a negative review – you’re missing the entire point of this product. HEALTH. Broccoli doesn’t taste great to me either, but it’s HEALTHY. For me personally, I take one scoop as a shot in room temperature water after shaking it up in an 8 ounce mason jar with a whisk ball inside of it and a leakproof cap.

This has been an affordable life saver for me most importantly on nights when I just don’t have time to eat and need to get to sleep asap. This has probably been what’s kept me in good health since I skip dinner a lot but still get tons of nutrients from this.

I like that it contains iron a lot. Most supplements leave iron out which in my case iron is extremely important. Taste isn’t even a thought for me. It’s about what’s in it and that it’s healthy and affordable.

If it’s chalky? Mix it better. It you don’t like the taste? Figure out a recipe that you like and stop complaining. If you’re on the fence about buying this? Do it if you are focused more on affordability and health rather than simply taste for a product that deserves proper recognition for how economical and filled with nutrients it is.

Also non-dairy, non-soy, plant based, climate pledge friendly – I haven’t found anything at this price point that comes close to this. I wrote such a long review because I have been using this for years and ordered it right now, went to the reviews, and some of them are just ignorantly sad.

In 2012, I suffered a near-fatal accident breaking 44 bones in total, including a shattered pelvis and broken neck at the c5/c6 level, both of those injuries required fixations. I also suffered a significant brain injury that left me in a coma for 14 days, be it an induced one due to my brain swelling.

I think this tastes great. I mix with cold Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, and enjoy it very much. I mix in a smoothie container by shaking with one of those smoothie spring things. If I had any criticisms it would be that they should up the Magnesium content since that helps curb low blood sugar hunger cravings.

And up the dietary fiber content a bit. It’s the only place I think Kechava has you beat. Kechava might have more vitamins and minerals per serving, but then look at the serving sizes! Kechava uses 2 scoops/60g for a serving size while GoL uses 1 scoop/34.

5g. Kechava ADDS 5g sugars per serving. GoL has ZERO added and a negligible amount naturally occurring. Kechava has 24g of Carbohydrates. Not bad, but GoL is much more Diabetic friendly with 12g, HALF the amount.

I also think GoL has Kechava beat hands down with the probiotics and enzymes ingredients. Anyhow, this product is a little high-priced but you get a lot for the money packed into every scoop. Hope this helps you.

I use Vega mostly to make smoothies. Vega mixes so thoroughly I occasionally make a drink with a handshake without adding other ingredients. I I don’t like other protein powders because they’re too sweet.

Even the flavoured Vega powders, which I bought for the first time, don’t taste sweet. The only thing I don’t like about it is the price. I usually use half a scoop or a little more instead of using a full scoop.

I still haven’t figured out how to use it dry, like on vegetables, without it tasting chalky. As I write this, I realize that I could make a thick gravy with Vega and vegetable broth and then pour that on steamed vegetables or whatever I’m making.

I have struggled to find a protein that works with my gut for a long time and am so glad I stumbled upon Vega through a recommendation from a friend. Vega really works well for me and 20g of protein in the powder is perfect for my immediate post workout drink.

I really love the chocolate flavor and typically mix in some peanut butter powder for a protein boost. The one draw back I’ve had personally is the mixability of the powder. I do not use a mixer bottle, and I imagine the lack of an agitator might be part of the problem.

It’s easy enough to fix with a spoon and a little extra liquid after the initial shake is drunk down. Overall love the product and will continue to purchase!.

I general take the Vega One in the beginning of my day, typically before breakfast just to set up the stage for what’s to come for my body. That seems to work for me better, don’t particularly like being stuffed up early in the day.

We like the fact that the Vega One contains organic ingredients (very important to our family) with various food elements that are plant base (very huge for us again as a family that we eat and drink a certain way that is in keeping with a healthy byproduct of “great” sound living).

If there’s even one complain is that the container wasn’t enough, we ran out too quickly and too soon, and can be a concern for those who are on a budget. Nevertheless, great product which left us with positive results.

To say I was excited when I learned about Orgain’s protein powder would be an understatement. An organic, chocolate, plant-based protein powder? Perfect! I have tried a fair number of different protein powders, vegan and animal-based.

Before I went vegan I used a delicious chocolate whey protein which, when blended into a smoothie, truly tasted like a milkshake. Ever since switching to a fully plant-based diet I have searched for a producy that can compare to that whey powder.

Orgain’s organic chocolate protein comes the closest, although it still has a slight chemical flavor. After trying the powder at a friend’s house, I immediately ordered a tub. However, even before I took off the lid, the tub felt mysteriously light.

When I looked inside the container was maybe half full. This surprise brought up some complaints. Vegans are environmentalists! I want to save the planet with my diet, not use more plastic packaging and emit more carbon through transportation costs.

Also, like most people, I would rather not spend any more time than I have to when ordering things like protein powder; I would be much happier paying a higher price for a fuller, longer-lasting container.

I wish Orgain wouldn’t try to cut costs and would instead hold themselves accountable to their climate friendly pledge. That being said, the powder really does taste amazing.

I decided that I wanted some protein powder and came across Orgain. It instantly piqued my interest since it wasn’t too expensive, and I’ve never tried a plant-based protein powder before. Some reviewers noted that they didn’t have a scoop included and that their container was only about 1/2 filled.

I bought the Vanilla Bean flavor. Fortunately, mine came with a scoop and was about 2/3 filled. However, I still expected something like this to be closer to full. I didn’t carefully read the mixing instructions that recommended water or almond milk.

I weighed out the recommended 46 g of powder and mixed it with 400 mL of 1% milk. The 400 mL is a little bit more than the recommended 12 oz, but I did this because my shaker bottle didn’t have a clear marking for 12 oz.

The flavor is fine. I read a few reviewers mentioning that it was too sweet for their liking, but I didn’t have any problems with the base flavor. However the texture is the main thing I didn’t like.

Even after some extended and vigorous shaking and verifying that all the powder had completely dissolved, it still had a little bit of an off-putting “muddy” texture. I had to take small and spaced out swigs to power through it.

Overall, it’s not that bad and can see myself getting this again. But I’ll probably try a different flavor and try mixing with almond milk per instructions to see if that makes any difference.

I am a vegan and purchase the Orgain chocolate product regularly. I was really excited to see a “hot chocolate“ product. The flavor is great, perfect for the Christmas season. It’s got the protein I want.

The problem is that it doesn’t work as hot cocoa. I noticed right away that the package gives no instructions for heating it. I contacted the company and they gave me directions, but at best this produces a warm drink.

Unfortunately, I concluded that if it’s heated the products thickens. Since I was really expecting a mix for HOT chocolate (as its title indicates) this was a real disappointment to me. On the other hand, I repeat that it’s a delicious cold drink.

I think they should take the word “hot“ out of their name for this product. I recommend this product only for those who do not care that it’s not really hot chocolate.

I was not going to say anything, but Invigor asked for the review. It’s OK. Expensive, and I would alter the ingredients slightly. The probiotics and prebiotics are more to be able to say they have it than any kind of well-considered choice.

For example, most bacteria will not survive in the stomach, so inclusion of something like bacillus coagulans would have been good. That being said, they did use chicory for the pre-biotic, which is a good enough choice.

Their sales method is a bit convoluted. It would be much easier if they quieted down their website and made it have no pop-ups that distract. Finally, I prefer buying the product on Amazon rather than directly.

Buying direct give ZERO feedback on the order status. The only way I knew the order had even been started was because the charge went through on my credit card, and then it took weeks to arrive. Amazon gets it to me in two days, and I know exactly what is going on.

Not so with Invigor direct. Invigor could do so much better. I’m going to try KaChava. Maybe it will be a better experience.

I have been using the Invigor8 shake in conjunction with the fat burning gel caps for the past 2 1/2 weeks and couldn’t be more pleased! I have lost 7 lbs. since I started using the 2 products. Even more amazing I’ve lost inches around my waist.

I have several pairs of dress pants I haven’t been able to wear in over 5 years and am already I am able to wear them comfortably! I give these two products my highest recommendation! I have a subscription to the shake powder and will be adding the fat burner gels to the subscriber when I order them again!!.

I have tried many different shakes, protein powders, but majority of them had either weird aftertastes or granular texture. I have tried INVIGOR8 in chocolate and strawberry flavor and am impressed! It mixes well with almond milk after a work out or as a meal replacement for lunch on a busy workday.

The only annoyance I have is that the site does not enable you to subscribe two different shakes – always two chocolate or two strawberry flavors, but no mixing flavors up. I tried to change flavors for my next shipping, but the subscription is set up for the same flavor month after month.

Cannot even skip a month by simply signing in to “manage your subscription”. To keep your customers happy, more flexibility in managing subscription preferences in terms of flavors and frequency is needed.

Currently, I am not able to truly manage my account.

I am a blood type that gets along well with dairy, and this whey based protein drink is perfect for me. It dissolves well, is tasty, and is satisfying. Couldn’t ask for more!

I’m sorry, but this product tastes like rancid coconut and is overly sweet. I’m quite disappointed as I really wanted to like it. I am by no means a fussy eater and can tolerate a lot but this is unfortunately not living up to its description.

Smells great when you open packet, easy to prepare, fills me as a meal replacer, lost a couple of KG’s in the first week, Happy so far and will keep on it.

This is my 3rd bottle and I use them every day. They stay tightly snapped closed so no worry about spillage. (If you have arthritis or weak hands, you might have trouble popping it open!) The loops have held up to being carried on a metal carabiner, swinging constantly on my dog’s harness.

All have survived many high temp dishwasher trips. I wish the gripper around the neck was wider bc my hand often gets cold if carrying by hand. The mixer ball does its expected job. The nutritional shake was recommended to me by Duke healthcare providers.

(Chocolate is better than the too-sweet Vanilla) I Vitamix it with the unflavored, unsweetened protein powder, ice and a banana to create a milkshake. Or add cold brew coffee as a yum alternative. Even with T2D, this sugar-based shake is the only one I drink.

I hate the taste of stevia and erythritol, which Orgain uses in every other powder and shake. I’ve tried them all, sadly. I wish they made this drink and/or a protein powder with only monkfruit as the sweetener.

Using this combo for 2 meal replacements per day for 2 months, plus exercise, I’ve lost 12 of the 25 lbs diabetes piled on me. I’ve also lowered my a1C down to 6. Yay Orgain! Please make this bottle in a bigger size.

I love Orgain shakes, though my goal in drinking is probably a bit different than most people. I recently went through some stressful times that reduced my appetite a lot and caused me to unintentionally lose about 15 pounds over a few months.

I wanted to gain back the weight, but eating enough was difficult with such a low appetite. A family member recommended Orgain shakes to me, and they’ve been great. As a healthy source of liquid calories, they’ve worked well to increase my caloric intake, and the great taste makes me really enjoy drinking them! Though they’re not high in calories, they are a nice supplement to the normal food I’m already eating and have helped me slowly gain some weight and get back to enjoying food.

My only critique is that they are on the expensive side, but that does make sense given the quality of ingredients. Overall I really enjoy them and recommend them!.

I have a lot of health problems and a fairly troubled relationship to food. Orgain all-in-one nutritional shakes are often the only foods/drinks I can stand. I typically drink 1-2 every day to replace my breakfast and lunch.

Personally, I find the “creamy chocolate fudge” to be the best flavor. To my taste buds, it’s like drinking chocolate milk or a milkshake. I have also tried vanilla and the strawberry flavor. Vanilla is definitely “the worst” -it’s got a very strong ~vanilla~ taste, a little overwhelming.

and then a weird, chalky aftertaste. The good thing about the vanilla is that it makes a decent base for additives like fruits, veg, and other smoothie ingredients. My only issue with the strawberry flavor is that there’s a bit too much of the vanilla base coming through for me.

I might try adding actual strawberries to punch up the fruity goodness, and get rid of that chalky undertone. I can’t say if Orgain has a flavor that will work out for you. but I would suggest the ‘chocolate fudge’ one for a try.

As for price, honestly, that’s also something I think everyone has to evaluate for themselves. Between mobility problems keeping out of the kitchen, and an eating disorder that has dogged me since college, a higher price for a full, reliable meal replacement has been a no-brainer for me.

My health care team has been absolutely delighted that we’ve finally found a way to ensure a daily intake of nutrients and calories. So the “value” was definitely worth it for me. I have had such good personal results with Orgain that I passed along the brand info to my sister-in-law because my nephew is starting to have adverse reactions to some foods, & while they figure out what’s going on, she can at least keep him fed with something gluten free, soy free, and vegan (she gets the vegan ones for him).

I went to Costco to purchase my protein shakes but they were out of my brand. My daughter recommended the Orgain protein shakes since my grand kids seem to drink the kids version and like them. So upon her recommendation I bought the Orgain Clean Protein chocolate fudge flavored shakes.

My son took one to work as he also drinks protein shakes. He came home the next morning snd told me the Orgain protein shakes were gross and tasted like a barn smells. I didn’t believe him. I took one to the gym for after I work out.

I tasted it and no lie it tasted like the giraffe cage at the zoo smells. I’m not trying to be mean but I’ve tried almost all the protein shakes on the market but this one is absolutely gross. I don’t know what kind of grass they feed their cows but the taste comes out in the shakes.

Will not be purchasing any more products in the future.

My late husband drank Orgain over ten years ago and it greatly helped him when he had cancer; the V. A. oncology nutritionist researched it and was so impressed she did a workshop on it for staff members.

Now, I am dealing with a fairly serious cancer and Orgain is my lifesaver. Not only is it organic (very important to me) but it has the calories and protein I need daily; I usually drink a couple a day in addition to my other healthy eating.

There are more flavors now than I remember and I really enjoy the Smooth Chocolate, Creamy Chocolate Fudge, and the Iced Cafe Mocha. I like both the dairy based and plant based shakes. Very convenient to put in my insulated lunch bag and drink when I’m on the way to appointments.

Purely Inspired all-in-one Meal powder is fantastic!!! The French vanilla taste is so smooth and creamy! I use this to make my protein shake with almond milk and berries and it is delicious!!! I love that it has high C vitamin about 278% for one serving and has probiotics and fiber too!!! In the last year I’ve tried many protein powder and this plant protein is my very favorite.

This is my first purchase of this product. And I think I am beginning to like it and consider to buy again. At first, it taste bland so I added a tablespoon of chocolate. This is my meal after 6:00 PM but I only drink this when I feel hungry and I am still up on my computer.

I like the product because it is all-natural and healthy. I feel safe drinking this beverage and do not feel guilty as it contains no chemical ingredients.

This product does not taste pleasant and the longer wait to drink it once mixed with the liquid the worst the texture/taste becomes. I was okay with the first time trying it, but the more I kept drinking the worse it felt and tasted.

May be mixing it in a smoothie can take away some of that after taste. Product overall is great- just the taste is something I cannot get over.

I really like this protein powder. I can’t tell you is tastes fantastic or anything, but it doesn’t have that overpowering taste that so many protein products do. It’s very palatable, and does have a nice subtle vanilla flavor.

Not grainy at all either. I blend 1 scoop with a banana and 2 cups of almond milk and it tastes really good. If you’re planning to blend it with other fruits/veg, then you’d barely taste this. I haven’t tried it with plain water, but I imagine it would still be palatable.

Overall happy with this and I’m gonna continue buying it. Seems to have a great blend of stuff and 22grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber is awesome for as easy as it is to drink for me. I used to drink premier and quest drinks, but they get to be expensive and leave that weird film in your mouth.

And the plant based ready to drink protein is even pricier and usually tastes foul. Overall a 10/10 for me. You have to manage your expectations for any protein powder, but this definitely meets any expectations I have.

Great flavor (for a protein drink), no weird textures or aftertaste, and much more affordable. (Around $1 a serving for me, factoring in the added nut milk and banana).

This has a delicious flavor!! It’s honestly the best non-dairy protein drink I have tried. I cannot tolerate milk protein, and it’s very difficult to find a good non-dairy protein drink or snack. So many other brands do not have enough protein for the calorie amount, they have too much sugar, too much added fiber, sugar substitutes that don’t work well with my stomach (i.

e. erythritol, stevia), are made from peanuts or cashews (we have severe allergies in my household), or have additives/ingredients that I prefer not to consume. Honestly, this drink is a rare gem, and I hope the company continues to make it, and Target continues to sell it!!!.

These are so good! Only the slightest peanut butter flavor (mainly chocolate) so the taste is smooth, not overwhelming, not chalky, and no nasty aftertaste.

I like to purchase and mix the Chocolate plus the Salted Carmel (the original recipe in the Orange bag). It sems to better hold off my urges to snack between meals. I sometimes even add the peanut butter flavor to my shake.

I had reached a plateau, which lasted about a month. I have lost a total of 70+ pounds. Sometimes I use a shake for breakfast and for lunch; eating a high protein meal for supper. Other times, just a shake for breakfast, with a high protein lunch, i.

e. canned tuna w/a little mayo, sliced tomato, sliced avacado, and some fresh spinach or shredded lettuce. My family usually eats a larger meal for supper as we are all together at that time. I prepare my supper on a salad plate, so my plate looks full.

I even splurge when my family eats out or to–go meals, i. e. hamburgers w/lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, and varied condiments; salads w/grilled ckn, added dehydrated onion, parsley, celery flakes; & limited myself to two slices of pizza (again on a salad plate).

Am 76 yo home bound grandmother; after Covid, my daughter and/or grandson have been helping me to walk down and up our driveway and down the street to the stop sign; I use a rollator.

Overall I love 310 shakes. Chocolate is my favorite. I combine it with 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter powder, almond/cashew milk, banana and ice and blend it. When I first tasted it I wasn’t a fan but after a couple drinks the subtle odd flavor goes away.

Now I can’t taste it at all. So, if it tastes weird after your first drink, don’t give up! The odd flavor will go away. I look forward to my shakes everyday. They are kind of like a chocolate peanut butter milkshake.

The only negative is that it doesn’t fill me up for long. I am using it more as an extra protein source though so this is fine for me. The mocha flavor is also great. I wasn’t a fan of the caramel or coconut flavor.

Vanilla was pretty good as well with peanut butter powder. Tasted like a peanut butter milkshake.

I’ll give it two stars for nutrition however it’s barely edible. I have tried to drink this 4 different ways and can only get a few sips in before I can’t go any farther. First I tried as directed. Blended with 12 ounces of almond milk.

Nope. Then added ice to thinker it. That was no better. Yesterday I added frozen cherries to thicken it. The shake flavor is so bad that it overpowered the cup of cherries. Finally, I added frozen Greek yogurt and stevia.

This may have been the beat but only because i sweetened it. I don’t want to sweeten it. It’s got a weird mouth feel and tastes like a cheap protein bar. I honestly don’t get why anyone says it’s delicious.

I’ll continue to look for ways to make it edible so it’s not wasted.
