20 Best Daily Moisturizer For Oily Skin (2023 Updated)

hey everyone ! so I personally have extremely oily skin and I’ve been really searching for a cleanser and moisturizer that helps me and I fr have gone through so many brands but I recently bought this moisturizer and paired it with the cleanser meant for oily skin and let me tell you , it works but too well.

I’ve never had dry skin in my life but after using this moisturizer, my skin is like the Sahara desert. It burned for a few minutes after putting it on then left my skin so dry that it felt like I was wearing a clay mask.

It works ! I didn’t have any problems with an oily face after but it had my skin so dry, it was so uncomfortable. I’ve been using it for almost a week and each time , it burns and leaves my face extremely dry so I usually add Vaseline after to help but I think I’m good off this product now.

I started using this product like 2 months ago, and it is a serious game changer. I was using the Effaclar line already, the face wash, the duo spot treatment, and sometimes the toner which dried my face out.

I would always try lotions and it would break me out even more. Then I started using this treatment. I went from having like 4 new breakouts a day down to one or none. It’s also nice because it doesn’t give you that greasy film afterwards.

I usually don’t write reviews ever, but this is one product that I would suggest to ANYONE. It helps break outs, it helps moisturize your skin, especially if you have combination skin like I do. And it leaves you feeling refreshed in the morning.

I have been feeling so much more confident in my skin and I love it. And because it’s not greasy, I can finally put lotion on in the morning. Every other lotion would make me look like I was greasy or like I was sweating, but this one absorbs right in and skin looks amazing.

The only issue I have with it, is the fact that it’s so small. It runs out really quick, and I usually hate having to spend money, but for this it’s so worth it for me.

This face moisturizer is great! It doesn’t leave oily residue. I apply it in the morning after my sunscreen and at night after my serum treatment. It leaves a thin layer that serves as a non comedogenic primer and it has the very nice smell as all other La Roche products.

If you’re worried about it being too little for such an expensive price, your really only need two drops of the moisturizer to cover the entire face, which is also true for most La Roche products, so they last a long time.

The only thing I have against this product is that it says it’s mattifying but it leaves no matte color.

I love that La Roche- Posay has an acne positivity day! Realizing that struggles can go beyond just the skin with acne.

Acne can have a negative effect on a person’s mental health, and that tends to get overlooked too often! It is time to recognize the mental impact that acne can have and remind ourselves that our feelings are valid! Also La Roche-Posay wants us to remember that our acne experience is not always linear.

It’s in constant flux, and sometimes we even move backwards. Healthy skin mental well being are not immediate. Live in the moment of your acne journey, and know that there may be highs lows and that is okay.

Acne doesn’t define me. It should NOT define you either! Especially when you can use amazing products like these to help you along your journey and with your progress. Acne is normal. Perfect skin is a consistent battle for me.

For starters, I am a skin care addict. I also love pricey makeup but skin care always trumps my makeup purchases. If your skincare isn’t up to par, neither is your makeup in my opinion. I literally have a bathroom shelf, bathroom tub, shower and caddy, a bathroom cabinet and a closet packed with skin care.

I know, we only have one face but through trial and error I have come across a regimen that has kept my face glowing and clear at 49. And also I can’t resist trying out new products that have the skin care ingredients I know that my skin craves.

With that being said, there are VERY, VERY few empties laying around and with this product there have been four empties, and I’m waiting on my fifth tube to be shipped while squeezing out the very last remnants in the old one! This moisturizer quite plainly, just does what it’s supposed to.

I have oily, mature skin (with few wrinkles. ) Thank God for genetics and a great skin care regimen and this moisturizer is my last step before sunscreen. It has niacinamide and peptides and has never one time, ever broke me out.

I know what not to use to keep my skin clear and this is one of my top five products. No frills, just a honestly great moisturizer that doesn’t leave your face greasy or feeling heavy with product and sinks in beautifully without any product build up.

First impression when unboxing: The box and bottle are the same as the traditional packaging, simple, effective, pleasing to the eye. I opened the flip cap and took a whiff, there’s a light scent that reminds me of tanning lotion/sunscreen (kind of like that cooking bacon-esque scent).

I read other reviews saying that a little goes a long way so I squeezed out a pea sized amount. The formula is super light, and is a water gel consistency (which made me nervous for the mattifying factor).

I started with the back of my hand to see a comparison. A little definitely went a long way, and traveled up my entire forearm. I compared my hands and the hand with the product was significantly less shiny, and all of the cracks (it’s cold and dry where I am at the moment) were blurred.

I tried it on my face and it definitely mattified my oily areas, but I wasn’t sure how hydrated I was. This can be a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It wasn’t greasy and didn’t leave behind a film, but at the touch it felt like I didn’t have anything on and felt like I needed to reapply.

When I did reapply though, it felt like I overused product so it definitely achieved its claim to fame. It’s not my holy grail but I’ll definitely use the whole tube especially since it didn’t break out my sensitive/acne prone skin.

I’ve struggled with acne my entire life. I’ve always avoided moisturizers for fear of breakouts. But now as I’m getting older, I realize I need a moisturizer because its dry and looking very dull. This is THE ONLY moisturizer THAT WORKS!!! And I’ve tried so many specials, expensive brands out there.

I don’t breakout. It’s lightweight and feels amazing! There’s no scent and it’s not heavy or oily. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Please don’t discontinue this product!!! I’ve had trouble finding it lately.

This is an amazing moisturizer for combination skin and acne-prone skin! The texture was really nice and felt great on the skin; it’s light but moisturizing and doesn’t weigh the skin down (you’ll forget you were wearing it!) My bottle has lasted quite a while which goes to say that a little goes a long way with this product! I will say because it doesn’t have the thickest coverage, I’m not sure how this would fare with people with drier skin types, so I only used this at night before bed during the winter.

Overall, it was a great purchase, and I’d buy it again.

This is the second product I’ve tried from Vichy through the Stellar Product Testing Panel (the first was a facial sunscreen), and I’m again pleasantly surprised at how great their skincare line is. To set the scene: I’m in my mid 30’s, with combination skin, large pores and blackheads, and I live in Arizona.

That’s an important detail, because I have a very small amount of time during the year to enjoy products as they are meant to be used, before things start melting off of my face without my control. I’ve been using this moisturizer about 5 times a week for the last couple of weeks, and have alternated between using it as part of my bedtime regiment and using as a replacement for my primer before I put makeup on.

I was pleasantly surprised that the moisturizer does not immediately make my face super greasy. The consistency of it is almost a mix between a lotion and a serum – and you don’t need a lot at all. one pump will do ya.

That’s a great thing, because the size of this bottle is really decent (also love that it’s a glass bottle with a solid pump – packaging is excellent). With every day use, it would last well into 8 or 9 months.

I have not used it twice in one day, mostly because I know my skin would start to build up a little more. I’m hoping that once daily use will be enough for my skin to get used to it and not over produce oils.

I have noticed a little bit more clarity in my skin without makeup on, and I trust that it’s helping with acne. However it is not a miracle product by showing significant results in just a couple of weeks.

I am also using this product during the wintertime, when I need moisturizer the most; I will likely stop using it when the weather starts warming up again. Overall, great smell, great packaging, great size, great consistency, great feel on the skin.

Can’t give it 5 stars unless it’s an irrefutable must-have in my medicine cabinet, and I just haven’t used it that long to determine if it’s making the cut yet!.

I religiously used this product for 5 years and this will be the last time I ever use it. I’m someone with dry and oily skin, and just regular cream based moisturizer never quite hydrated my skin enough.

The original formula of this moisturizer was perfect; it worked well and felt lightweight without it getting overly oily or feeling my skin left dry. I know people had mixed opinions about the scent, but as an Asian-American, the scent was nostalgic and reminded me of those creamy juice ice bars that would come in a plastic tube from the Asian market or Ranch 99.

So, I loved, LOVED the scent. I recently was running low on this product and purchased a new one before I went on a trip because I would be out of my current one by the time I returned home. Today, I opened it since finishing my jar of the old formula and I was heartbroken and disappointed when I opened the box and saw the “new” packaging and even more disappointed by the formula.

I’m not a fan of this change, the new formula doesn’t feel or hydrate like it used to, I hate opening the lid on new formula and getting even a whiff of that “new” non-scented smell from the product.

I’m disappointed in Farmacy for whatever corners they cut to “revamp” or change this moisturizer that didn’t need ANY tweaking in the first place. And to prove how heartbroken and how much I hate this product now, this is my first ever review for anything I’ve purchased from Sephora.

I guess I’ll have to find a different brand because Farmacy isn’t going to get any more of my money because of this. I will never forgive them unless they reverse these “improvements” because they ruined one of their best products.

I’ve been an avid user for years. The formula was perfect and never broke out my sensitive skin. UNTIL they changed the formula. I just purchased a new package and to say the difference is huge is a massive understatement.

Whereas previously the moisturizer perfectly absorbed into my skin and truly had the oil free dewy glow you want, the new one adds this weird layer on top of your skin that just…. sits there. It’s kind of sticky like it hasn’t fully absorbed and, this sounds dramatic, but it feels like it’s clogging my pores immediately.

Like when you use a bad sunscreen, or a bad lotion in a pinch, and when you sweat you can feel that layer of sweat trying to come out but can’t and it just feels gross? Yeah. That’s how it feels almost immediately and then subsequently the rest of the day.

You’re just sitting there not sweating and your face can’t breath or dry feeling. It gets worse, especially if you do end up outside and sweating. Needless to say, my sensitive skin that I actually had under continuous control for almost two years now looks like a battle zone with all kinds of breakouts coming up even in areas I don’t usually get them, like my neck.

Y’all, I’m telling you, skip this “upgraded” product. It had to be a change for money purposes because it was NOT for the benefit of the skin when they had a previously perfect product. Just saying.

When I first started using this moisturizer a few years ago I loved it. My recent purchase of this moisturizer hasn’t been the best. I’m not sure if an ingredient has been added but I’m even more oily after I apply it.

I started having continuous breakouts all over my face (cheeks, jawline, between eyebrows & forehead) for a month. I thought it was stress and other things. I decided to eliminate this product from my skincare routine just to see if it would help.

My skin immediately started clearing up. I believe it’s a good product just not for oily, sensitive & acne prone skin. I also noticed my make-up looking terrible by the end of the day. In the morning it would be fine, during mid-day I look like a oil stick.

Today was my second day not using it under my makeup & my face is not oily at all & it still looks fresh! My pores no longer feel clogged! I still love the Farmacy brand & will continue to purchase other skincare items! Hey beauties! This Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 50 is a total miss for me. The consistency was very thick and had an oily texture. After a week of using the sunscreen, I did start breaking out because of the grease buildup on my face (I am dry-sensitive-combination skin type, but lean more to the dry side) which was uncalled for as the usual sunscreens I use do not cause me to breakout.

When I put it on my face it takes a while to absorb, and it also leaves a white cast that I’m not a fan of. There’s also that old school sunscreen scent that isn’t very attractive. For a drugstore sunscreen product, I do think that the price range for about $20.

00 CAD for a sunscreen is quite expensive as you can pick up cheaper drugstore sunscreen products at a much better price point or simply order some good affordable Japan or Korean sunscreen for less than $20.

00 CAD. One thing I did really like was the packaging. It is packaged in a tube with a pump and there is also a cap on top of the pump to avoid any leakage or excess product going all over the place and it’s just easier to travel with and reapply.

Sunscreen is a very crucial step in my skincare routine (I never miss this step, ever!) however, this product is just a huge miss for me, and I think I will still stick with my Japan or Korean chemical sunscreens.

I am a big skinceuticals fan and I love almost all of their products. When it comes to their products, since they have such an expansive and high quality array of products it’s more about choosing what you need based on your current skin condition.

I love this product for the spring, summer, and fall because during that time of year my skin doesn’t need as much moisture and this moisturizer provides the perfect amount of moisture. During winter I usually switch to a slightly heavier moisturizer.

For this moisturizer another added benefit I like is the slight sheer to it and this is coming from someone who loves a matter finish. There is something really illuminating about this moisturizer that I really enjoy.

Lastly, I would say it slightly and I mean very slightly helps reduce the look of large pores but that is mainly something I notice after a month of use. I highly recommend this product and will buy it again.

This is an honest review! I received a sample of this cream in the mail last spring. I loved it so much, I bought the full-sized jar from my dermatologist. I use it nightly after my retinol and serum, and I wake up every morning with dewy soft supple skin.

I have had a severe health concern the past 4 years along with going through menopause which resulted in some dramatic changes to my skin and am so grateful that I found this cream. A big plus is that it doesn’t pill up after layering my products like many other creams do.

I love its cooling effect on my skin too most likely from the natural herbs such as peppermint oil. I have tried so many different moisturizers, but this one is by far the best. I have been wanting to try the A.

G. E cream but haven’t yet because this works so well. It’s pricey, but a tiny amount goes a very long way. It’s definitely worth every penny. I hope that someday Skinceuticals will offer a larger sized jar option for its faithful customers.

I bought this in hopes of finding a good moisturizer that would keep my skin hydrated without leaving me looking and feeling greasy. And let me tell you! This did not disappoint! This stuff is incredible! It’s lightweight, hydrating and leaves an amazing glow to the skin.

I’ve always used department store moisturizers before, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, LaPraire, LaMer, just to name a few. And of course Sephora…this stuff beats them all! I loved it so much, I bought 4 jars just to make sure I didn’t run out anytime soon.

A little goes a long way, if you use more than a dime/nickel amount then you WILL feel greasy. It doesn’t take much. I’ve finally found my holy grail for daytime moisturizer. Please please Skinceuticals, don’t ever discontinue this!.

After about 6-months of consistent use I can say with confidence that this is far and away the best facial moisturizer I have ever used. I have tried many face moisturizers over the years and have always had trouble find one I like because I can be very prone to black heads and white heads in my t-zone.

This is the only moisturizer I have ever used where that is not something I ever have to worry about. It is also SO good at its job that I do not have to use it twice a day in the winter and can even skip days in the summer making this product also very economical! I absolutely love it and it has become a stable in my routine!.

I should start by saying that it has taken years for me to find products that work for my highly reactive skin. My aesthetician introduced me to Image products and over the years through trial and error with her I have experienced much better skin.

I am at a crossroads though because I am not pleased at all with the packaging. I have had issues with the packaging on the Vital C hydrating oil, the Ageless Hyaluronic Acid, and the ACE Serum. Finally you have updated the Vital C hydrating oil packaging, why can’t ACE and the Ageless Hyaluronic have new packaging? Currently of the products I am using, the ACE and the Ageless Hyaluronic acid have the worst packaging.

The rubberish (not sure if it is rubber or not) glass dropper system is awful for these and I have had droppers break in the process of screwing the dropper lid back on and have had glass shards in my product pretty much rendering it useless…I have also had glass droppers break where the pieces were larger and did not fall into the container.

In order to access the product, I have had to attempt to pour it out which is a mess and wasteful or to use a dropper from another product which contaminates the product. The rubberish seal on the inside of the lid/dropper mechanism does not close all of the way so I have had these bottles leak when stored or traveling and it also allows air inside to contaminate the product.

Eventually the rubberish seal/dropper fails by tearing and the bottle contents are wasted due to air exposure and leaking. I have reached out to Image about this with photos and they are not concerned at all.

The first time this happened a few years ago, I messaged for awhile with an Image rep and finally told me to return them to my aesthetician and she can refund or replace on her dime. I didn’t think that was right.

Finally they offered her a refund for providing me with a replacement product. I provided the defective product packaging and hoped things would get better. This time after repeated attempts to get to anyone who cared, they said they never hear this type of complaint and they offered me 10% off my next purchase but I have to call in to do so, not order from my aesthetician.

I am not pleased with the Customer Care.

I really wanted to love this item, especially for the price. The cream was SO expensive and made ZERO difference. Not even a little. I have puffy bags under my eyes and dark circles. No difference in firmer skin, dark circles or puffiness as advertised in the description.

I chatted with an employee from Image and she said this is the product for me. Unfortunately, Image also does not take returns, which to me, doesnt say much about their belief in their products. I was going to order on Amazon but was afraid of a counterfeit product.

Now I wish I did, because at least Id get my money back. Ive had better results with some eye creams that Ive gotten at Whole Foods for puffiness and dark circles – and they were 1/3 the price if not less.

The product feels really nice on my skin, is not greasy and smells good in a natural way. I think it would help with dry skin under the eyes, which is not my concern. Ive used it for a week now, twice a day.

Zero results. Basically threw away $80.

The smell of this is so strong it makes me sick. I was loving this company because I thought they had non toxic ingredients in their products, but I was wrong. They use things like Pegs, Peg 8, etc… in their products which is highly toxic.

I had opened this eye cream a few months after buying it because I was finishing another one. After being stunned by the strong smell and ingredients I asked if I could return it on the live chat. They said no because it’s been too long since my purchase and that they’d see what else they could do, but I was never contacted.

Poor customer service. I’m moving on to a different non toxic brand. Do your research on ingredients before buying their products!.

After so many complaints in 2008, OLAY finally brought back the only true good version of Olay SPF 15 WITH Zinc Oxide for Sensitive skin. I kept stocking up for years, dreading the moment OLAY would forget the lesson of 2008 and again try to modify the tried and true formula for sensitive skin.

Here is the lesson from history: In 2008 Olay decided to change the formula of this same skin sensitive lotion and replace it with a higher SPF lotion that contained ingredients that super irritated those of us with sensitive skin.

In the process of doing this, Olay abandoned support for us and it was such a disaster for us that our trusted formula was replaced, leaving us with no good option. I remember thousands of people wrote to Olay to bring back this same true and trusted formula.

It took a few months but Olay did indeed bring this formula back to the relief of so many who depended on it, like me. I am just writing this to remind everyone and Olay how much we rely on this exact formulation of lotion and just how miserable so many were back then when it was discontinued for a few months.

Now in 2023, I turn around and find OLAY has made the SAME MISTAKE as 2008, trying to push harsh products on us when all we want and need is the original sensitive formula, the one with Zinc Oxide. I have searched around before all is lost to try and stock up on 10 years supply even though most will be expired, at least I will not be totally out of a formula that DOES NOT BREAK OUT MY SKIN.

BEGGING OF YOU TO PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SENSITIVE FORMULA.

I absolutely love this product! This is my favorite moisturizing company, I use this cream and the original Pink cream that comes in the jar. They are both extremely pleasant and smell and in how it feels on the skin.

I like to use this one especially if I’m going out and about. But to be completely honest I am absolutely in love with the Olay original Pink cream that has the light floral scent. It has been around since the 1950s and it’s been around for a reason.

I can’t seem to find that product on here to review but 1000% recommend. Both of these are very inexpensive, which is more than I can say for all the new varieties that they’re coming out with but both of these have been around for a long time which means that they still are known to work and you don’t have to spend as much money to get the same result in my opinion.

I would totally recommend this to anybody, I have very sensitive skin and I break out very easily. Neither this nor the original Pink cream has made me break out and it’s just very refreshing on the face and the neck.

Again I would totally recommend this to anybody.

My hunt for the perfect sunscreen for my combo/mature skin started many years ago. I tried this on a whim and it is my go to. I’ve been through probably 10+ bottles of it. For me, sunscreen tends to make my face oily and my makeup doesn’t wear well over it.

Sometimes sunscreen doesn’t mix well with my other skin care products. This doesn’t do any of those things. It is a moisturizer and sunscreen combined and for whatever reason it works for me! It plays well with my other products and my makeup wears nicely over it.

It is affordable and easily accessible. I think at this point I’ve tried every sunscreen on the market both high end and drugstore and I always go back to this. I wish I didn’t fall for the hype of every new sunscreen because they never work as well as this one and they never beat the price.

So if sunscreen doesn’t work for you, give this one a try.

I have combination acne prone skin, and I needed a product that would moisturize my face without clogging my pores. This stuff is supposed to moisturize dry parts without aggravating oily areas and is labeled as noncomedogenic, so it should have been a good addition to my routine, right? Boy was I wrong.

A day after I started using this, my skin broke out in little bumps everywhere- pustules and closed comedones all over my cheeks, chin, and forehead. This was the only new product I added to my routine, so I know it wasn’t anything else.

I’m pretty sure it’s because of the fatty alcohols in the ingredients- if you’re sensitive to those, learn from my mistake and just leave this product on the shelf. I haven’t even used it for a full week and it’s broken my skin out so badly, it’s going in the trash now.

Back to the drawing board.

I don’t know what the heck is off with this formula. I checked it on cos DNA to see the differences and it appears there was a formula change. I’ve been using the Neutrogena oil free moisturizers for years.

I usually use the spf 35 but this was in the only one in stock so I thought why not. It broke me out horribly. I had no idea it was this that was causing it until two weeks in. I was in denial because I use the spf 15 no problem.

Once I stopped using it my skin has been calming down. This is definitely not comedogenic and it’s been so distressing dealing with these breakouts. It’s formula is also very liquidy and different than the spf 35.

Such a waste of money and bad timing.

I have been using Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 15 every day for many years, and my skin looks great. I worked outdoors in the Florida heat and sun, and it was the only product I could find that did not run into my eyes when I perspired, or need to be reapplied constantly over the course of my day.

Other moisturizers caused me to break out, or felt like I was wearing a heavy mask. This product absorbs quickly into the skin, and it leaves my face feeling soft, fresh and hydrated. I continue to use it every day, and I recommend it highly to anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.

I have used this for a few years now! I first received a sample of it through Credo Beauty purchase when I started trying clean beauty products – and let it sit around for months because I didn’t really know what it was.

However, I eventually decided to use it and discovered what has been a fantastic skin product. My skin is so sensitive, all over, but my face is where I am so picky about what I want on it. I live in the midwest, Iowa, where we have dry winters that last 8 months, with -40 degree wind chills.

My face is already normal to dry, and this sucks all the moisture right out of our bodies here. This moisturizer has been fantastic at providing a calm hydration, that is so light and not greasy. It feels like I added a natural layer of moisture to my skin, does not feel like I put anything on it at all.

You know when you can tell you’re wearing product on your skin because it takes a while to “soak in”? This is immediately absorbed and used to keep my face smooth all day, my pores small, and my skin relaxed and hydrated.

Love it!! Also lasts way longer than I expected. I was a bit nervous at the price for the small amount but have been impressed by how a little can go a long way.

It started with the Rose Hip oil, then the RoseHip oil cleanser, then the black facial oil, and now this delightful moisturiser. I feel as though the Pai products were produced for my skin they’re *that* good.

I’ve spent years and years trying to find the right products for my skin – trialing harsher products with more aggressive ingredients to natural products with a much more sensitive approach. Discovering Pai and their products has been nothing short of a miracle for my skin.

I am oily prone to breakouts, having suffered from adult acne in my early/mid twenties. After going on antibiotics that successful warded off the acne, I needed to find a skincare range that helped keep it at bay and nourish my healing skin.

I’m 28 now and the Pai products are consistently the ones that I feel make the most difference. This moisturiser is no different. I always struggled to find one that didn’t make my skin look greasy and this one is the one! It’s a great base for makeup and didn’t cause any pilling at all.

I’m a nurse and wear a mask all day long. It’s been a while since my skin has felt truly balanced and calm. I tend to have very reactive skin, and as I’ve gotten older, it’s gotten more sensitive. When it’s in crisis, it alternates between very dry, and very oily.

I saw the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try- I’m so glad I did. What I love about it, is that it is very moisturizing without being too heavy. In the past I’ve found that some ceramide creams feel like they just sit on top of my skin- but for some reason, this moisturizer feels different.

My skin instantly feels balanced and calm. I’ve been using it for over a week, and have noticed a decrease in redness. In just this short amount of time, my skin feels softer and looks more radiant. And because it’s calmer, I’ve noticed less reactive oiliness too.

I’m very pleased with this moisturizer- and I highly recommend it to anyone with similar skin issues!.

Bought the complete set at SAMs club. Cashier told me at checkout it wasn’t a good product but I decided to take a chance. Only thing I liked was dry skin remover. I used it in my face elbows worked great.

Serum was difficult to get out towards end. Haven’t bought product since.

Dead sea products are the best for me. This facial serum really helped me to fix the condition of my skin. It smells really good and the quality is perfect. When I first tried to apply, I knew that it was good, but I was really surprised, as the result was way more better than I expected.

I have used the product for several years. I, personally find this product to be the best. I have several other products that were sold under this same name. I have NEVER been disappointed

Love this moisturizer. It soaks into your skin, does not cause breakouts and works amazing as an eye cream also. It softens and fades lines and gives a soft focus effect, while not making your skin greasy- finally!! The scent is so light and amazing.

I hope Erno Laszlo keeps this formula and does not change it. It is perfect and these ingredients work so well. I hope they bring back the value size. I have tried every night cream out there and this is better than them all.

I have combination skin that is dry in some areas and oily in others. I try and use lightweight moisturizers that inhibit the production of excess oils. Erno Laszlo Hydra Therapy Gel cream is my go to moisturizer.

It goes on light and absorbs very quickly leaving a smooth matte finish. Perfect for use during the day and night and under make-up. I love the way my skin looks and feels after use. It helps control the oils which controls my breakouts.

The price is around $120 for 1. 7 ounces. A little of this gel cream does go a long way. This is my holy grail moisturizerizer and I highly recommend it!.

With my dry skin, this rich sleeping mask is just what my skin needs for an overnight moisture quench. It doesn’t leave me feeling sticky or heavy, but I wake up in the morning with my face feeling plump and rejuvenated, ready for my makeup to apply smoothly and to glow! It’s a gel-like consistency and a little goes a long way, which is good since this is a pricey product.

I use it once a week after my Sunday night facial. However, if I’m feeling especially dry I’ll use it 2-3x a week. My tip to apply it is to put a small amount all over the face first and let it soak in for a few minutes then go back and apply a little bit more over the driest areas of your face to get an extra moisture kick in problem spots.

For me that’s my forehead, especially above my brows, and the sides of my nostrils. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product. I just wish the price tag was a little lower. A cheaper but similar alternative is Clinique’s Moisture Surge, but I prefer this one.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Matt Daily moisturizer is a great product. I love all products from this brand but especially this one. My oily skin looks perfect after using it, and it’s stays the same for entire day.

It’s very gentle and do not cause any irritation on my sensitive skin. I’ve been using this for over 5 years or so and I can tell it’s irreplaceable. The best drugstore moisturizer ever. Price is very reasonable as well.

I recommend it to anyone!! Make yourself a favor and buy one for yourself ❤️.

100% yes to this brand and product. I had a hard time finding this brand in the states and would purchase it outside the country, up until I was browsing CVS – the drug store and noticed they had this available in the skincare isle.

It was all locked up and had an anti-theft cord thingy on it but for good reason, this product retails much higher than anything they normally carry. So about the product, yes it works great for my oily skin.

I mostly get oily in my t-zone but use this all over my face and it doesn’t dry out the parts where I’m not oily. It lathers really well, so a small amount goes a long away, especially for the price point.

Don’t let the “Made in France” on the label detour you from trying this product out, its worth every penny. I use this in combination at night with my LUSH tea tree toner. After several days of use, I could already tell a difference in my t zone.

I didn’t have sebum clogging up my pores.

I like this product as it has a very light formula – ideal for an oily and problematic skin. It does not clog my pores. It moisturizes and mattifies my face perfectly. However, the effect of matte skin does not stay for long.

I’d definitely improve the product by creating longer matte effect. I’d also create a bigger packaging as this one is very small and with a daily use it just runs out very quickly. Anyway I’d recommend it as it is a great product.

So I heard about Lexli through a podcast, and I decided to give it a try. I really want to love it, but it’s so thick it feels like I’m rubbing peanut butter on my face. It takes a lot of elbow grease to get it evenly distributed on the skin and I just don’t like that.

I haven’t been using it long enough to give a good review of how the product actually works, but the ingredients aren’t bad so I’m hopeful. I will continue using and plan to try other Lexli products in the future.

For my skin this moisturizer is not too heavy nor too light. I use it twice a day and after cleansing with aloe cleanser. I notice less sebum buildup. Realizing there is no broad spectrum SPF in it is worth noting but not a problem as several minutes after moisturizing I apply a 30-50 spf.

I personally was not able to use day moisturizer spf 15 or 30 as it did not agree with my skin. This has solved that problem! I highly recommend this product!.

My favorite Lexli product. Perfect amount of daytime moisture, spf protection is great, and I love the smell. Skin looks and feels amazing

I’ve been a long-time fan of Liz Earle products but feel I must post about the new Skin Repair formulation. I am a man with quite sensitive reactive skin. One of the superb things about the original range was that any scent was subtle enough to be suitable for any gender to use comfortably.

From an inclusivity perspective I liked that most of the products transcended male and female. However, this is no longer the case. I was disappointed when I purchased the current formulation. The change in texture is notable – a whiter tone, more gluey or slimy compared to the previous cream, more synthetic in appearance and wow it’s heavily scented.

It feels like it leaves a greasier finish on my skin once applied, but the scent is so heavily floral and clawing that it’s off-putting. I want to keep this review objective, but if this cream had been presented to me in an unmarked container I would A: not recognise it as a Liz Earle product (this is what I find so shocking) and B: would say that it felt and smelt like a cheap cream.

I feel like I’ve made a bad purchasing choice. Something that was never the case previously.

This really could have been made for me (and many other LE fans, I suspect). It’s got the 3 the basics plus 2 essential extras in the scrub and hydrating mask. It’s also great to receive 2 reusable cotton pads as I’m struggling to find really good ones.

I absolutely love the hydrating mask: I’m 58 with dry, sensitive skin prone to eczema and this makes my face soft and glowing. I tried the CICA Paste, which did nothing for me, but this mask has immediate and long lasting results.

And as for the very polarising revamped Skin Repair ( I use the Rich), when it first launched I received a sample of the Light and really didn’t like the aroma or texture. However, I’ve used it now from a few kits and I really love it.

It’s aroma is more subtle than the original Sandalwood and the Rich has a waxy consistency, as opposed to the original which was more buttery. I find that I use far less of the new Skin Repair and it leaves my skin feeling plump and nourished, ready to face the elements.

BTW – I’ve left a more detailed review on the item for the Skin Repair Duo. Whether you need to or not, I would stock up on this kit, it’s brilliant!.

I used the light moisturiser during the summer and as my skin has a tendency to be tight in the wintertime I decided to use this during the day. I am delighted with it. It isn’t too heavy but it is working very well at keeping my skin feeling good.

I will continue to use this during the colder weather but I may return to the light cream during the warmer months. Another fantastic product, thank you.

A few weeks ago I received a sample of this face cream and when I tried I just felt it so nice leaves your face smooth and very nourished and the smell is so nice.
