Neutrogena has always made some of the best and affordable skin care products! But this one right here is in my opinion one of the best formulated moisturizers out in the market, PERIODD! The entire Hydro Line from neutrogena has some of the most amazing products but this one in particular just hits different.

After 1 use of this product I felt seen the amazing benefits this gel cream has to offer. It actually made me excited to apply my tedious skin care routine. But knowing I just added this gel cream to my day regimen sparked joy I couldn’t get to my bathroom sink fast enough.

Since using this moisturizer especially before make up application my skin has a natural glow within. I also have combo -oily skin and this product definitely helps with that. Bonus another reason I needed to try was of course the hyaluronic acid in this formula.

Since using religiously my skin has a noticeable difference of brightness hydration. Theres a very light and undetectable sent to it but the scent to this cream smells clean gets me excited every use.

Honestly I only tried this product because of all the hype I seen on it. Was questioning if this was actually a cult classic but after using and falling in love I totally agree! If anything this product is a #CLASSIC in general! FYI if you suffer from dry and sensitive skin, Neutrogena also has Hydro Boost Gel-Cream – Extra Dry fragrance free available! It is a light and oil-free facial cream. Hydrates skin with powerful hydrating ingredients, but no greasy residue. This is one of the best moisturizers I have come by, it leaves my hair shiny, defined, and my curls look healthier than ever! It pairs well with gel or even by itself. I can easily refresh my curls with just this product alone.

I use it in damp hair and even on dry hair if I’m just refreshing my ends. It was not as thick as many comments made it out to be, I have 3b/c curls and it works on my hair great! It also can be watered down adding water to it as you apply it.

Those using this line should be aware most of these products are made for those with thicker curls/coils. So if you have thinner or wavy hair this may not be the product for you. But hands down the best, definitely an essential to have !.

I use this product faithfully. Starting on Sunday with wash day, I use the Shampoo and follow up with the mask and sit with my heated cap for an hour. I wash out and follow up with the Miracle Repair Leave In Conditioner.

I then twist my hair in sections with this product. I leave it in for a couple days and when I un-twist (using the TGIN miracle repair oil on my twists and fingers first of course) they are AMAZING!! No flakes and super moisturized!!! The definition is unmatched!!! Worth every single cent.

I have 4a hair and my hair is hard to please. It doesn’t like thick oils, like avocado, but it doesn’t take well to Grapeseed oil either. I live in the NE, so I need good moisture during the hard winter months.

Most creams are too light or too heavy, but this one is a game changer for my hair care regime. The texture isn’t hard like natural shea butter, but it moisturizes my hair like it (it has shea in it).

It leaves my hair moisturized and bouncy and it mixes well with other products. I really love this butter cream, fan for life.

For starters my skin is dry and sensitive but nothing too serious. Clinique dramatically different moisturizing cream/lotion are my holy grails, and I ran out but at the moment I had to find something a little more pocket friendly so I did my research and went with Olay.

When I instantly put it on I feel hydration but a little while later it dries down to a matte effect which is weird for a hydrating lotion. It also gives my complexion a chalky appearance and has broke me out with some small spots.

I SWEAR by this moisturizer! I have combination skin; oily forehead and dry sinus area/cheeks. I use their BHA toner, the BHA pores serum by Sephora, and then this moisturizer ontop. My skin has never felt better; lasting moisturizer without the tacky or oily feeling behind.

It’s a gel moisturizer so it absorbs into the skin flawlessly, about 30 mins after initial application, which is amazing if you’re on the rush to work like I am most days! This is the first Kiehl’s product I’ve ever tested. I received this as a part of a sample kit from Sephora. I am one to never say no to trying out a new moisturizer, especially with my acne treated DRY skin.

My first impression was minimal – there is not much to go by from the packaging other than that it’s a facial cream, so I guess there is a lot of brand recognition with Kiehl’s that I’m probably unfamiliar with as I would never notice this on a store shelf.

Right off the bat I could tell that this is definitely one of those creams that really is “ultra” heavy and “ultra” moisturizing. This did not absorb quickly and did leave a slight sheen to my skin. 30 minutes later my skin still feels a bit moist, but not sticky or tacky.

I did love the smell of this product as I was applying it to my face – though this isn’t technically a fragranced product. It smelled like a clean sheet of parchment or watercolor paper to me, and it was oddly satisfying.

I have severe dryness under my mouth and nose, and this product has more than enough hydration power to combat those flakes. Would I use this as a daily cream? Probably not. This cream is so concentrated that it almost feels like a treatment, or mask.

It completely saturates your skin and does not dry up at all. For daily use, I prefer a moisturizer that absorbs a bit more, leaving less “dew” on the surface. This moisturizer is meant to strengthen your skin barrier and retain moisture with Squalane and Glycerin.

There is also something called Glacial Glycoprotein in this which helps balance the moisture levels in your skin. I think this will serve me best as a targeted cream for my extremely dry areas, as the results are instant for rehydrating your dry patches.

Other than that, this runs a bit heavy for my normal skin.

if you love Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Moisturizer, you’ll love their Ultra Facial Cream SPF 30. as a young woman, I am regularly bombarded with information on how to take care of my body long term. while most of it is crap (let’s be honest), protecting your skin from UV rays with SPF is undeniably beneficial.

I’m a long-term user of the ultra facial cream moisturizer–there’s just nothing else that compares–but I wanted to make the switch to a daily facial moisturizer with SPF, and Kiehl’s is the BEST. please note the consistency is each face cream IS different.

the moisturizer is closer to a dense-whipped cream type feel (consistent with most facial moisturizers I’ve tried throughout my life), and the one with SPF reminds me more of, well, sunscreen. as a result, when I first opened the jar, my initial thought was “I’m not going to like this”.

I tried it anyway and am enamored. I LOVE how hydrating it makes my skin feel and how dewy it makes my skin look. I anticipated a break-in period where my skin was like, whoa! but it never came. there was an effortless transition from the moisturizer to the one with SPF (i.

I use a substantial amount every morning and make sure to coat my face from the corners of my hairline, over my eyelids, my upper lip, all over my cheeks and forehead and chin, over my jawline and covering my neck.

This is genuinely the best moisturizer i’ve tried to date, and i’ve been around the block. I got this as a free sample last year (I don’t remember if it was from Sephora though) and after using up the tiny container it was an INSTANT re-buy (I got the 28mL).

The first thing about it is the lack of smell: It literally, and when I say literally, I mean it, has not a hint of any fragrance or scent (not even that plastic-ey smell some fragrance-free products have) which is amazing for my migraine prone self.

Then, the texture! It’s smooth, does not leave any traces, any gross oily feeling and no dryness. It really is lightweight but that girl HYDRATES like crazy: I was able to go both summer (it’s light enough, and does not sweat off your face or leave a film over it) and winter, which leads me to my last point: its’ efficacy.

Every single winter, I struggle with super red, dry patches on my chin and cheeks from how dry it is outside, and i’m so so so glad to say that this year was my first them thanks to this moisturizer.

It is also no loner fragrance free or allergy free. I am so disappointed and angry that my skin has been ruined by this. I also feel it’s awful that they haven’t listed the new formulae yet.

NO LONGER SENSITIVE SKIN SAFE. I’ve used this for a few years now and I USED TO LOVE IT. That’s until recently when I ordered my most new bottle I noticed it had an off smell like the product had gone rancid.

Ulta. com was great and swapped it out but then the next bottle had a similar, milder smell. (I should have checked the labels here. ) I went ahead and started using it because I was totally out of moisturizer at this point even though I swatch compared with my old bottle and my old bottle had no smell to it.

A few days down the road I noticed my skin was starting to look bumpy but kind of wrote it off. Now my face is starting to break out in white heads all over my cheeks and forehead and I am not acne prone.

At this point I compared my labels side by side and see they’ve changed the ingredients and my old bottle says “fragrance free and allergy tested” where the new bottle says no ARTIFICIAL fragrance and “normal” skin.

Super disappointed. Why change a good thing. Creams for normal skin are a dime a dozen plus the smell to this is terrible. Even if I didn’t have sensitive skin it’s a total turn off.

I used to love this moisturizer. It was my absolute favorite until this most recent time I repurchased (for my birthday). It has done nothing but irritate my skin. The smell and texture are also off.

The original product, 7signs SPF 15 and Night cream with the black lid was my absolute favourite for over 10 years and the only face cream I could use which didn’t make my eyes sting and glided so well on my skin.

It moisturised so well and had a great fragrance. Unfortunately, the new 7in one cream in the new white bottle is so disappointing – it leaves a sticky residue, like suncream does and does not blend well and sits on the skin rather than blend in.

It also doesn’t work well with foundation and almost works against it. There is no pleasant smell. There is nothing positive I can say about this change. I searched everywhere for old stock and even called Olay to buy the previous version without any luck.

Terrible. Never again I applied a tiny micro dab only and it’s sufficient to cover your entire face. The consistency of this cream is not moisturising as it’s very thick and doesnt glide onto the skin smoothly.

Hence, it leaves a greasy sticky uncomfortable feeling after application. At first glance your skin looks vibrant n youthful. However as the cream is so thick, it made my skin very itchy. And as the cream sunk into my skin, on the following day it left my face with red patches like a rash.

I just bought this and have been using Cetaphil for forever but it wasn’t making my skin feel GREAT. So, I decided to try something different, but I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something new.

I found this aveeno oat gel cream and was hesitant because I have sensitive skin and it tends to get dry during the winter and gel creams don’t really work well with that. But I tried it, and I am NEVER switching to another cream for my face.

It it thicker than the regular gel creams and it smells just like oats which is AMAZING but its also not fragranced. With the mix of using the oat cleanser and then this cream, it makes my skin buttery soft.

I have rosacea and I can hardly use any moisturizer, SPF, or makeup. but this moisturizer really is amazing. I usually want to rip my skin off in 15 minutes after applying most products even from the dermatologist.

But not this one. it’s light weight, moisturizing and make my skin feel soft and hydrated. Really help my dry patches look less dry in just a few days. It definitely has a calming and soothing affect to my skin which is very unusual for me.

Even rubbing in moisturizer will make my face redder but it goes away very quickly to a less agitated state with this product. I know this will not work for every but e wry one skin is different. But for me who struggles with most products to finally find this one was exciting and amazing.

I am super glad I decided to try Obagi Hydrate Facial Moisturizer. I absolutely LOVE the other products I use in the Obagi line (NuDerm gentle cleanser, Foaming cleanser, Balancing Toner, Retivance and Elastiderm eye cream).

So you would think this would be any easy decision for me to purchase, but it is not oil free so I very hesitant. I have only ever used oil-free moisturizer until this purchase. It is a game changer in my skin care routine.

The oils that are in it are NOT pore clogging. My skin does not feel oily at all after applying. Dries down GREAT! Nothing sticky or tacky about it. If there is a scent to it at all it is very light beautiful I don’t even notice it.

It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way and it’s well worth the price. It has not caused any breakouts or redness at all. I am super glad I decided to buy it. It’s that little bit of extra moisture I needed through the winter that I can’t get from my oil-free moisturizer.

If you have normal to oily skin don’t hesitate to try this. Just use it where you need it. I use it on my cheeks and chin and my oil-free moisturizer on my forehead. You won’t regret it!.

I use Obagi Hydrate Facial Moisturizer mainly on my decolletage. I’m 73 years old and creplness is a big concern. The skin on my chest is very fragile. Since starting to use this product I’ve seen a big improvement in plumpness and smoothness.

A little goes a long way after my retinol or glycolic serums. It is a little cooling/soothing and is a great aesthetic feeling before bed. Aside from that it is a great moisturizer packed with anti-aging and moisturizing ingredients and really doesn’t have irritating or bad for you skin ingredients.

Can’t beat the price for this premium moisturizer.

choose this to replace my usual daily moisturizer that has been on back order forever. I’m so pleased with this I’m probably going to continue using it. I like how it goes on smoothly and melts into the skin without leaving any residue or scent.

It doesn’t pill or look shiny or greasy at all which makes it perfect to use under makeup. It’s perfect for my sensitive acne prone skin. I also like the packaging. The tube is small enough to travel with and more convenient than a jar.

This moisturizer is sooo good. My boyfriend has extremely dry skin and this is the only moisturizer to help with it. I use it under my eyes because of how dry they are and this works magic. It’s not really thick so it sinks into your skin fairly quick.

I’ve used it a couple times on my face and it hasn’t caused any breakout as I have extremely sensitive skin. I use it more at night due to having oily skin. I wake up with refreshed hydrated skin. This moisturizer is amazing!.

I liked the results from other peptide products I have tried, so I decided to give this a shot. I have rosacea and this moisturizer is incredibly soothing on contact and given 30 minutes to an hour, my cheeks settle remarkably and my tone looks a lot more even.

I feel that my pores are less noticeable during use, and the anti-inflammatory properties of the peptides help the remnants of acne breakouts clear nicely in conjunction with the adapalene gel that I use on my T-zone.

The directions call for a pea sized amount for the face, which would be a pretty sparse application. On bare skin, the spreadability is good, and if I use it as a last step over serums at night, I find the spreadability diminishes and I use more product.

It layers nicely with everything I have used it with so far with no pilling. I have used it around my eyes, and did not experience any migration or irritation. The consistency is pretty light, and I LOVE that it does not give me a greasy sheen – it is perfect for no makeup days and stressed-out-skin rest days because it is so calming.

I have been using it all Summer and don’t feel suffocated or like my skin can’t breathe. **I have never received this product in anything other than the current squat little tube. I actually really like the tube because when I’ve used most of the moisturizer and it is no longer squirting out, I can just snip off the top third of the tube and easily access every last bit of product.

So many skincare pumps are totally sealed so you can’t get what is left in the chamber when it no longer pumps out – that’s wasteful and bugs me. Also, the tube and cap can be rinsed and recycled.

This Peptide Moisturizer is SO soothing upon application, it is a relief to use after washing to restore the moisture barrier. The rosacea redness on my cheeks settles in no time with the anti-inflammatory properties of this light, fragrance free lotion.

I have experienced no rebound redness. The instructions call for a pea sized amount for the face, which would provide an awfully sparse application. On clean skin the spreadability of the product is really good.

I use it on top of serums and other treatments; It does NOT cause pilling of my other products, but using it on top of them reduces the spreadability quite a bit, so I end up using more of the product.

No big deal, but I hope they come out with a larger sized tube in the future. This lotion does NOT leave a greasy/shiny sheen, so it is a great choice to use under make-up or on makeup free days. I’ve only used this product in the tube packaging.

I ike the wide mouthed tube, because when you get to the end, you can just snip off the seam and access the remaining product easily. Some products that come in pumps prevent you from accessing all of the product.

I have been using this for almost exactly 2 months. I was liking it okay, other than the stinging and hardboiled egg scent. I have not had one single zit for that time, the longest stretch of my whole life, but I think that’s more related to using zinc pyrithione soap for perioral dermatitis at the same time (a complete miracle product).

I have to discontinue this moisturizer now because even after more than plenty of application, my skin is visibly dry, with the white skin dust and everything, as if I’m not wearing any moisturizer. My skin just guzzles it and is still parched.

I have to really load up on my second layer, Versed sunscreen to rely on it as the moisturizer, and it’s not very helpful at that either– going to take the plunge for First Aid Beauty intense hydration and see how that works.

Inkey peptide has also offered no plumping, and forehead lines are accentuated. I think climate is important here. I’m in a high, ultra-dry, wildfire-smoke climate. I think if I lived in Florida and was drowning in humidity, this product could be excellent.

First off, I’m pleasantly shocked at this moisturizer and how well it worked with my skin type, I have sensitive and oily combination skin and this seems to do the trick. I do confess, I use earth harbor aurora drops or ampoule and I’ve used three drops with two pumps of the elf moisturizer and it’s my new to go combo.

It plays well with all of my eye products too. I always use either the yerba mate eye gel &/or the Tony moly plumpkin eye cream. I’ve used it with drugstore moisturizers for the under eye as well and it works I’ve never used the elf under eye cream hopefully I can pick that up next and see how it works with this moisturizer.

It fades fast & seems to dry down into the skin very nicely! Like I said I’m very pleasantly surprised but I keep seeing comments about how the pump is breaking and I’m praying that mine holds up I take good care of my products and don’t travel with them so I think it should be fine just sitting on my vanity.

It does have a light fragrance but it dissipates and in my opinion just using this moisturizer on its own three pumps did my entire face and neck anymore it’s too much and turns my skin a little greasy LOL.

For eight dollars though, it’s a fabulous moisturizer for every day and even for the evening to sleep in. I will definitely keep re-purchasing ; ) ELF nailed it again 💪👏.

My skin usually hates products like moisturizers, makeup, retinol, etc. my skin has been super dry through winter so just for a joke I thought I would give this a try. Wow I was impressed with it one day after the first use! It moisturized my skin without making it feel greasy and it seems to be making my skin healthier looking all around.

I use it as needed- I usually have combination skin so I don’t have to use it every day, usually just once every other day. Doesn’t have an overpowering chemical smell either like a lot of other products.

A little goes a long way. Definitely recommend if you have sensitive skin! Excellent price for this item as well.

I say surprisingly because I’ve purchased so many beauty products that promise one thing or another and do absolutely nothing. My dermatologist recommended this brand to me for my incredibly (ridiculously) sensitive skin.

My 55 yr old skin is dry on the chin and cheeks and oily on the nose and forehead. I also like to breakout with angry red pimples. When I combat the pimples the other parts of face react contrary to what is ideal.

Too dry, too irritated or too red. Enter Avene products and some actual relief! This moisturizer brought my dry parts back in line within two days! No irritation and adverse effects on the oily parts! Gentle and effective hydration is what this product delivered.

My mom is in her early 90s and she’s a hardcore user of a different brand. I find it didn’t full moisturize her face leaving it looking papery with a dry fragile feel. I put this moisturizer on her and after one application her face looked better! After one week’s use, her skin no longer was papery, was more hydrated and felt normal to the touch.

She actually prefers it over the other brand! Now that’s a testimonial!.

This is an excellent, expert skincare routine that replenishes moisture to all types of dehydrated sensitive skin for up to 24 hours. The routine is very simple but the results are superb. The first step is to cleanse the face with the thermal spring water to sooth, freshen and balance PH levels on the skin.

Next, I apply the serum onto the face and neck to rehydrate and smooth the appearance of fine lines. Lastly I moisturise with the rich hydrating cream for a smooth finish. My skin looks and feels great.

No wonder it has been recommended by dermatologists. This is the first time I have used an Avene product but it will not be the last. A great routine that I will be using in the future.

My skin is overly reactive and I have rosacea, so I have to be very careful to use only gentle skin formulas. The consistency is more lotion than cream, almost no scent, does not pill under my tinted sunscreen and, most importantly, does not flare up my rosacea.

It does, however, leave a slight sheen for a while. I have mature skin, so I don’t know how this would behave with oily skin. Might be ok for winter. Have only used this for a week or two, but so far, so good.

It provides light moisture, but does not seem to improve fine lines or wrinkles. So, if you’re looking for a basic moisturizer that does not clog pores or cause irritation, this may be for you.

I have long had issues with recurring cystic and comedonal acne, whilst also having dry skin. Yes, acne and dry skin together, which is really hard to find products for, especially when my skin is sensitive too.

This moisturizer has been an absolute blessing for me, I can lock so much more moisture into my skin without clogging my pores. It has also greatly reduced irritation and sensitivity in my skin. If you have issues with dry skin, especially if its producing excess oil as a result, have acne with dry skin, or have sensitive skin, I would absolutely recommend you try this.

The only products I’ve ever tested with similar results have been far more expensive, if this happens to be the right moisturiser for your skin, I cannot stress the value for money you will be getting!.

My primary concern with my skin is dehydration. I had been using this moisturizer for 2+ years and thought it was working, along with getting semi-regular facials, & using other good products (2% BHA exfoliant, SPF, retinoid).

But I wasn’t seeing any results. It occurred to me that maybe I should switch my moisturizer. So I switched to the Cerave and it’s like night and day. My skin texture has improved after just a week. I really thought this was a great product and I swore by it, but I’m done with it.

I’m not saying it won’t work for you. This product never made me break out, never irritated my skin, had a fresh scent. It just wasn’t moisturizing enough for my skin. Maybe it will be for you!.

This moisturizer requires some finesse when applying per your skin type lol I have combo skin with an oily t-zone. I apply this using a VERY small amount (more bang for your buck) starting at my cheeks and working to my forehead and chin.

TIP: Massage this into your skin until it’s totally absorbed, this greatly helps prevent it from just sitting on top of your skin and making your face appear greasy. Washing your face before apply is recommended.

My face feels sooo soft. Silky smooth. The moisturizer is very light when you wear it the right way, and will make you glow.

Absolutely love this moisturizer, it’s on the thicker side but spreads easily and has a beautiful light scent. I love the glow it leaves and my skin just drinks this up! I’ve also noticed the redness on my cheeks have gone away for the most part which is just amazing! For reference, I’m 26, Asian, very dry and sensitive skin, living in Arizona!The only downside is it is such a tiny tube, I’m using a different moisturizer on my neck some days just so I can savour this, I think if I use this like my usual moisturizers, it would be gone in about two weeks.

I wish it came in a bigger size!! I hope to use it in the long run but it definitely is on the pricey end considering you can easily go through a tube a month.

I have used this moisturiser for over 30 years. I am 51 years old and it has been said many several times I look 38 years. Luck? I do not think so. We all like to mix things up in our beauty regime and try something different from time to time, but without fail, I always, within a week, return to my Dr Hauschka products and immediately see the difference.

I have dry skin but never when I use Rose Day Cream. I could write many several positive things about this product as I find my skin does not survive well without it. Beautiful smell and full of goodness.

I love this during the cooler months, it is a little thicker than a cream, but a little goes a long way, warmed in your hands then pressed in, and it absorbs beautifully. Leaves my skin soft & hydrated all day, even through harsh heaters and cool wind.

I think of it like a protective balm, I use it alone after cleansing. I swap out to the Rose Day Cream Light during summer, which has a more traditional ‘cream’ texture, and I honestly love them both.
