20 Best Daily Driver For Car Enthusiast (2023 Updated)

I had never head of Skar before walking into an audio install store last year. I figured if they had them in there they were worth listening to. I bought these because I thought my Cerwin Vega weren’t functioning correctly.

I was surprised at the bass the Skar put out, but reviews gave them the “shout-out” they deserve! Nice and mellow, not punchy or bloated. I had these wired to an 8-channel JL Audio amp but have since installed a Diamond Audio mono amp and the sound is just better.

(Trust me, a mono amp for your subs is necessary for full, rich, reproductive sound) I wonder what the 10″ EVL subs sound like? Should I find out????.

No complaints about these sdr 18s. They hit hard and drop low also. I’m running them on a skar rp 1200 so they are slightly under powered and still sound good. I plan to upgrade to a skar 2000 watt amplifier in the future.

Skar has good quality speakers and amplifiers at fair price range. I recommend skar audio over any of the over priced big name audio brands.

Worse product I every bought. Had terrible screeching sound. Should have did a little more research on this company they don’t try to help you only had installed for 4 days. They keep trying to make it seem like you don’t know what your doing.

But I’ve had my kickers for years put them back in they worked perfectly fine. But SKAR audio terrible.

This is super nice. Absolutely beautiful work of art, it has white stitching so I had my C10 seats stitched in white to match. It does not come with the horn button retainer and 6 bolts. They come with the adapter.

( the adapter is out of stock everywhere) You can buy the bolts online from momo or at ace hardware or rowlets hardware I got the flange at OG racing. Summit doesn’t have the horn button flange. I mounted this to a ididit column and NRG adapter.

I had to build a spacer between the adapter and steering wheel because the adapter was too shallow but it was worth it since this steering wheel is awesome.

This part number is the brushed aluminum version, 350mm/13. 8” diameter. I have had probably 35-40 aftermarket steering wheels in different vehicles over the years, these are BY FAR the best quality wheel I have ever owned.

This is my third, installed in my Jeep YJ. No disappointments.

Initially when unboxing the carseat it looks fantastic, lots of comfort features. We have been using maxi cosi for a couple years now but with another one on the way and 2 already in carseats we needed something that was more space efficient.

This one definitely is compared to the pria 85. My daughter seemed very comfortable in the seat and with the incline on the highest setting allowed for forward facing we don’t have any issue with her head falling while napping.

This seat has lots of removeable cushion for rear facing infants and it looks very luxurious for the price! Things I wish this seat did have but are not a deal breaker are the easy LATCH install like the maxi cosi has.

It makes moving the seat much easier without having to re adjust the tightness. This uses the standard metal LATCH clips. Another thing I noticed was the buckle didn’t seem as nice as most carseats on the market, I wish I had the option for is to purchase additional covers.

My kids wear out their carseats before outgrowing and I I hate to have stains and pilly fabric. Hopefully this one holds the test of time to its advantage. The last thing I would have preferred with this is to have the shoulder straps placed just a little further apart.

It does come with strap covers to prevent this but my finicky toddler loves to take them off resulting in the straps rubbing on her neck. Over all it is a great and comfortable carseat for the price.

Recently cracked the face on my gamer, Adams black super hybrid and was looking for a similar more rounded shaped hybrid which is rare. I tried out the Apex, Apex Pro, Sim2, Sim2 Max, G425, Tour Edge C721, and TSi2 hybrids.

Out of the bunch, I liked the G425 and the regular Apex because they are extremely forgiving but was not a fan of their iron-like looks. I was close to purchasing a regular Apex but randomly came across this club and was convinced by all the great reviews.

They weren’t lying! The biggest reason to buy this club is that it sits flat and a touch open making it much harder to hook than any other hybrid I have tried. Even adjustable hybrids often have more weight in the heel or a lot of offset making them hook monsters.

Also for a “pro” hybrid this club is extremely forgiving and has a large enough sweet spot for all handicaps. This club launches high and straight, with a true flight (no ballooning) and has a great muted sound/feel.

The stock KBS shaft is also perfect for this club. It feels very stable and is so well balanced that is it hard to overswing. It should be noted that the shaft lengths are a bit shorter compared to other models out there so you may see a slight decrease in distance compared to your current hybrid.

The Mavrik Pro 3 hybrid is 40″ compared to the Sim2 Max 3 hybrid which is 40. 75″. I prefer the shorter shaft because it fits in better with my iron distances and is a bit easier to control but some people may prefer more distance oriented hybrids.

The Mavrik Pro is like a combination of the regular Apex and the Apex UW but half the price since it is a year older. I purchased my mine with the current 25% discount for $115 in “like-new” condition which is an absolute steal for the performance.

Not sure how this club flew under the radar but I guarantee, you will not be disappointed!.

One of the cheaper Momo wheels out there, excellent styling, extremely comfortable, very small as well. Highly recommended, 320mm is a very nice size and not overly small in my opinion.

As a long time player, this is quite possibly the worst club, I have ever used. No fault of Golf Town or to trash Wilson Golf as I also own the D7 driver and irons which are excellent. It has a “sweet spot” the size of a dime, Anything outside of that sounds and feels striking the ball with a wooden 2X4.

The carbon fiber head and bottom 10 gram weight lowers the “CGI” so much that it will ruin a decent golf swing. Removing the weight brings this club back to a driver circa 1965. Memo to myself and others, always test the clubs in store before purchasing rather than relying on “past Brand performance”, “marketing hype” or “suspect” online reviews.

At 6 feet tall, this regular flex 4 hybrid is perfect my height. Any age of a person should be able to hit this club pretty well. If you take your time and hit the ball clean, you will get some nice distance with this club.

I love the way it sounds when you strike the ball. This club has gotten me out of a lot of trouble situations on the course. I’ve saved a stroke or two, many of times with this club. I highly recommend it.

P. S. The grip is very nice. The club is lightweight, and it comes with a nice head cover.

I bought this driver and two days after receiving it, I took it to the range just to get a feel of it. After my fifth drive, the head broke cleanly off the shaft and went 80 yards down the range (lost forever).

The crazy thing is that the track man at the range showed that I hit a 240 yard drive almost dead center. I’m not sure what caused the head to fly off, but it definitely took my breath away.

Purchased this driver and the Stealth Plus as replacements for my SIM and I am an 11 handicap. Both with the Project X Smoke Black 6. 0 70g shafts and 9 degree loft. I play league at 2 different courses and wanted to have the versatility and shot shaping of the Plus at one course and the Stealth for it’s forgiveness on the other course.

From the fitting to the course, these clubs are drastically different in feel. The Plus with the Smoke Black is a very low penetrating flight. This club, the Stealth I found to be very smooth and balanced.

With the Smoke Black however, it didn’t quite add up distance wise to my SIM (8 yard loss). I swapped shafts to my Project X Black 6. 0 75 gram that I had in my SIM and carried the first drive 315. I was consistently averaging 294 over the next two rounds which was 11 yards more than the SIM plus dispersion was tighter.

Very solid club if not one of the best drivers I have gamed!! Bottom Line is that for my game, I need to find a replacement shaft that is close to the Project X Black and not the Smoke Black.

Received it last Friday and yesterday played for the first time. I had a chance to hit two tee shots, one with Stealth (10. 5 adjusted to 9. 75, Ventus Red 5R) and the other – with SIM Max (10. 5 adjusted to 9.

75, Ventus Blue 6R). I did not notice any meaningful difference between the two in terms of distance or dispersion. Both were sending a ball about 230+/-10 yards total on a wet course on a 40F degree day.

I flipped the shafts on the back nine, but did not notice any difference either. I also used Garmin G80 radar launch monitor, which showed a very small increase in Stealth club head speed of 3-4 mph with a stock shaft over SIM.

However, should add that SIM has over 400 rounds under its belt, while Stealth is brand new. Where Stealth really beats SIM Max is in how the shots feel, it’s like a hot knife going through the butter.

Overall, if SIM Max is in a good condition, upgrade probably is not worth the money.

I bought this driver a month ago, I could not be happier except for the distance but in this care it may be the “Indian and not the arrow” as I am 66 years old and don’t have the turn I used to have, still a solid 255 to 265 yd drive.

I have had a handicap as low as 3 and currently at 8. The feel of the ball coming off the club face is incredible, really don’t notice the sound as some reviews have noted. Misses on the toe, no noticeable loss of yardage.

Misses on the heal of course less yardage but still good yardage. Solid center strikes are unbelievable, “one with the universe”. The club sets up perfectly at address and I have the confidence in my set up to make the swing.

I was never a fan of the white club head and really enjoy the look of the matt finish. I gave this review the title of “Robot” because that was labeled by my 20 something players I joined at the local public course.

The driver was very strong and consistent compared to their results. I will check out 3 and 5 woods when the opportunity arises.

i bought these subs with the skar rp 800. 1 amp and my 4runner is knocking like i spent a few thousand dollars when i spent under 250 for the subs and the amp. i can not believe how good it sounds. i had kove armageddan subs ,i had kicker and there isnt even any comparison skar is the real deal.

No one would ever believe what i paid after hearing my system right now. My koves blew and i didnt want to spend alot but i still wanted to have bass i saw the reviews of skar so i went with them and i am just blown away,i wasnt expecting them to be anything near my koves and their hitting twice as hard with the amp turned all the way down,and this is no bs review if your looking for great sounding bass at a great price look no further! i will never buy anything but skar.

These are great entry level subs. Hit much harder than you would think. Power ratings are way off in my opinion. I have 3 of these running on an rp2k at 53 volts. Been beating the daylights out of them for months.

Still going strong. Can’t beat that for the price.

Thought they were good speakers, hooked them up to my skar rp1500. 1 d amp and fried a voice coil during break in period. Everything on my amp was turned down. Sounded good at first. I guess I need to go with a higher rms subwoofer to match my amp.

Just used some older Reload on my new Jetta. Does well and goes on easy. Depending on the temperature the streaking is minimal. Cooler temps or hot temps will cause some streaking. The shine is great! Gets deeper and shinier after about 12 hours.

On my Grand Cherokee I got well over a year of protection. Although it stays under a car port and not a daily driver I was still impressed with the longevity. Once I finish this bottle I will definitely get another.

Many postings complain of streaking/spots. I have Optimum Gloss Coat which I topped with Optimum Opti-Coat Hyper Seal which does not have that great of water beading. Gyeon Cure was better, but I was looking for better performance going into the rainy season in the Pac No West.

I tried the small trial size Reload and I’m very impressed. NO streaking whatsoever. I have used on dry paint followed quickly with a wipe off with a lightly dampened MF towel (quick spray of distilled water), then final wipe – no streaking problems.

Also tried as a drying agent over ONR (80-90% dry surface) – again no problems / no streaking. Product looks great – high shine. Performance is excellent – water beading starting “moving” off hood at approx 38MPH and at 40 MPH the water is gone from the hood after 1 mile of driving.

Drove to work 45 miles this morning in a rain storm, but last 5 miles were dry – when I parked the car the hood, roof and upper side body panels were dry without water spots. This is the performance I was looking for.

Recommend claying coating with 22ple clay first before applying Reload (or any booster) to give you the best water run off possible.

I’ve been using wax my entire life. My nephew who’s a professional detailer told me about sealants lasting longer than wax. He introduced me to CarPro Reload and I couldn’t be more happy! It’s unbelievably easy to use, just as easy as a spray wax.

I was impressed yet again the first time it rained. My jaw dropped when i saw the water beading off of my truck! I’m not getting any younger and I still wash my vehicles myself, so it’s always nice to find something to make my life easier.

It even makes washing my truck easier. Bugs and grime come off with a lot less effort than before. I bought the smaller bottle just to try it out, but I will definitely be getting the larger one soon.

I extremely pleased when I received this car care kit. This kit came with several products. It included Armor All original protectant, glass wipes, wash & wax, and tire foam. I’ve been doing a lot of work on my truck lately and I couldn’t wait to get done and get it all cleaned up.

The spray protectant worked great on my dash and inside paneling. It added so much shine and cleaned all the dust off. The glass wipes worked perfectly. They didnt leave any streaks and didnt damage my tinted windows.

I just put new rims on my truck. I sprayed the tire foam on my tires and let it dry about 5-10 minutes. I didnt have to scrub or wipe the tires. They came out looking brand new and shiny after the foam dried.

The last product I used was the wash & wax. It left my truck so shiny and revealed my paint jobs radiant color. This is definitely some of the best car care products I’ve used. I cant wait to wash my truck again.

I just bought it and received the tires. The manufactured date shows 1216 meaning 12th week of 2016. I bought them December of 2020 so these tires are nearly 5 years old almost dry-rotted tires that are made in Philippines.

Yokohama tires are good reputable tire company but I still wouldn’t want to put 5yr old “new tread” tires in my car not knowing where these have been stored past 5 years. Price was cheap but I guess there is a reason for it.

FYI these are factory OEM tires for Chrysler Voyager minivans which is cheaper version of Pacifica minivan.

These tires came stock on my Chrysler Pacifica so when I needed to replace a blow out I found that Walmart had them and had them at the best price. A little disappointed that according to the date of manufacture on the tire that they were more than a year old.

Purchased on sale. Very satisfied with the performance. Smooth, firm, and quiet tires. For my Honda Odyssey.

Got this to help my 96 year old Dad get in & out of my car. Works better than I could have imagined. Not flimsy & easily supports my 160 lbs. No installation or parts to loose. Nothing to lock in place.

I am always somewhat dubious about the products one sees hawked on “As Seen on TV” and their ilk, but took a chance on the ‘Car Cane’ as my 91-year old mother was having trouble getting out of the car unaided.

After the typical tussle getting the product out of the bubble pack, I had a chance to form an initial impression of the product. It turned out to be better made that I had expected and did not look or feel cheap.

It was impressively easy to use; just insert the car cane in the door post latch mechanism. The big test was whether or not it would make it easier for my mother to enter and exit the car. As it turned out, the car cane didn’t make a whole lot of difference as an aid to entering the car, as one just sort of “falls in.

” The real advantage of the car cane was as an assist in getting out of the car. In spite of some initial reservations on the stability of the device, it turned out to stay in place with no problem and it made it much easier for my mother to get out of the car with no assistance to the point where she now takes it with her anytime she is in a car.

Score one for the “As Seen on TV Car Cane. “.

Assists even a heavier person from exiting a vehicle. Can apply both downward and pulling/pushing pressure. Handy and portable. Good for knee injuries or cane users.

I used this with an SMD DD-1 distortion detector to set its gain first and then the gain on my sub amp. Result is a HUGE difference. The RCA output signal voltage was increased by the AudioControl to the point that barely upping the input gain on the sub amp triggered the distortion light on the DD-1.

THAT is exactly what needed to happen and the Overdrive Plus achieved it successfully. Why? Because my head unit outputs only 2V through its RCA outputs and the sub amp is a 200W Soundstream Angina, my bass was being overpowered by the speakers.

The amp was not being used to its full potential because of the low RCA voltage. This AudioControl Overdrive Plus solved the issue. Now I am getting maximum performance out of the sub amp. It’s the loudest, cleanest 200W RMS I’ve ever heard.

Again, I used a DD-1 to set the gains properly. The ear is not a good tool to set gains. Most of the time when the bass sounds incredible, the signal is clipping. But with a hot signal provided by a line driver like the Overdrive Plus and a properly set gain, everything will sound like it should!.

Im not really happy about it not functioning as I expected but I can turn the volume down to get it to mute but I was looking forward to the extra functionality of a on off switch and that does not work.

The indicator light has never come on once.

I am a senior who had been getting increasingly inconsistent with the driver. For awhile was exclusively using a Taylormade SLDR mini driver 14* with acceptable results, but I missed seeing the larger 460cc head for confidence.

I chose the M3 for Adjustablility features and found a decent deal on eBay and went for it. The OEM shaft was a stiff flex and I really should be swinging a regular, but so far, this is working out great.

This club swings very smoothly and feels very well balanced in the hands; with a normal swing the ball springs off the Twist face. If you don’t have to have the latest club out there, I would definitely recommend the Taylormade M3.

Nice to have a friend in the bag again!.

After struggling to hit a driver for some time I bought the m3 and straight away started hitting the ball down the fairway. A little low to start so made a few very minor adjustments. 11 fairways hit and only 3 just missed.

Last one outdrove all my mates who hit good distances. So for me it’s great. Feels great. Looks great. Its fabulous. Got my game back on track and can now get back to a single figure handicap.

I went into the San Diego Mission Valley Golf Mart store to try out the new TaylorMade M3 and M4 drivers. My previous driver was a much older TaylorMade RBZ 10. 5 loft. The M4 felt good, but just nothing special.

I expected more out of it. I tried the M3 460 and felt a big difference. This club felt like it came alive and really worked well with my swing. The fitter tried out a few different shafts and lofts.

We settled on the 9. 5 loft with the Tensei red in stiff flex. My club head speed is 100-105mph. Then they took the time to dial in the adjustable weights to get the flight just right. This is much easier with a knowledgeable fitter and a launch monitor.

Once it was all dialed in, it flew straight and very long. I was regularly driving it 280-290 yards. A big improvement over my old driver both in distance and dispersion. The club head, shaft and entire package just felt fantastic.

When I hit the ball I knew it was going to fly. To me, the feel and contact felt better than the M4 and the launch monitor confirmed it. Since you just never know how a club will feel and fly in real life, I took it to the driving range and hit a small bucket.

This driver is amazing. The distance was beyond expectations and my normal slice was no where to be found. Out of 45 balls, probably 40 were straight and long. Even the miss hits maintained a fairly straight line and good distance.

The M3 is so much more consistent, straighter and longer than anything I have demoed or hit before. I would highly recommend this driver for any skill level player. In my opinion, the feel and adjustability of the M3 is well worth the extra cost over the M4.

I recently purchased the g425 3 hybrid with a set of G710 irons. I’m nearly 60 and historically had always hit my irons longer that whom I was playing with. The last few years I found myself “clubbing up” one or two irons due to lack of distance.

I went as far as telling my son my frustrations with accepting old age and made an announcement that I was going to find a set of the most forgiving consistent irons I could find like the old Ping Zings.

Then I saw a set of old zings marketplace 3-9 plus all theee wedges in the correct fitting for me for $80. I bought them and had them cleaned, checked and gripped. Played 8 to 10 rounds with them (30 year old clubs) and didn’t think I could be happier.

For the hell of it one day while out of town I had no clubs with me and played with a demo set of g710 irons with the g425 hybrids. I was completely blown out of the water with both the iron set and hybrids.

I promptly purchased the set of irons and only the G425 3 hybrid as I have a shorter rescue that I will never part with and a driver that works incredibly well for me. I am consistently hitting the G425 3 hybrid 235 to 240 yards.

I am stunned at the distance and accuracy. I can absolutely count on putting it on the mark from that far out 98 percent of the time. The random mis hits have been my fault but still left me with a long playable shot.

I am a lifelong slicer with driver (I call it a “power fade” and have been showing up on the tee box on many tight holes with this hybrid since it hits so straight. Did not think I would have a new go to club in the bag so quickly.

I’ve used Titleist CB 690s for most of my high school and collegiate days. Then, briefly switched to the MB 620s, while also giving the Mizuno MP-37s a try. No luck. And finally, recently, after multiple youtube and Rick Shiels reviews, I decided to switch to the Titleist T100s.

While I was really pleased and satisfied with my initial T100s, they don’t compare to the Blueprints. At least for me, I can confidently say that the Blueprints are the irons for me, and I’m already worried about what’ll happen when my current set wears out.

While good, the T100s just felt like any other mass produced irons. Works great, but the Blueprints have that somewhat special feel and smoothness that a competitor muscle back just couldn’t replicate.

Sorry Titleist, but again, this is just my opinion. The feel, consistency, and trajectory of the Blueprints are on another level, and it’s really the perfect combination of feel, precision, forgiveness, and consistency.

For someone who’s always been in between a muscle back and cavity back, these truly are the perfect fit for my game. And for anyone else who may be feeling the same way, I would highly HIGHLY recommend these irons.

Disclaimer, these are muscle backs, so please don’t expect to hit the 7 iron 180 yards. unless you’re Tiger. But for the player looking for a little more edge in their game, with some true consistency, yet great forgiveness for the occasional mis hits, I would highly recommend these clubs.

I’m an average to above average amature golfer with a swing speed of 110-115 mph. I recently bought a Ping 3 hybrid stiff shaft to replace my 3 iron and fill the gap in yardage between my 5 wood, which typically plays 230-250 yds.

I’m hitting shots and greens with the Ping 3 hybrid that I’ve never hit before from 220 with ease. My 3 iron had a range of about 190-210 yards, however, I’ve always had trouble hitting my 3 iron straight.

For this reason I used my 3 iron maybe once or twice per round, only when I couldnt logically play something else. Shots with the Ping 3 hybrid feel pure no matter what the lie is or the conditions, i.

e. wind/rain. The club feels light, smooth, and comfortable at contact. Range for me in one season can be tuned from 195 up to 230 yards with ease and no change in swing style. My average distance this season has been 210-220 yards, repeatedly.

The best part is 95% of the shots with this club have been straight and on target. I’ve turned from using this club as a 3 iron replacement into my safe club for any shot over 200 yds and am hitting greens from 220 that I’ve usually had to chip onto when using my 3 iron.

This club is a must have for anyone looking to improve their long iron game or just need to have a safe club in their bag no matter if it’s in the middle of fairway or from the rough. As the title reads, it’s been a game saver and is quickly making its way into a top club choice in my bag.

Now if I can just make all these putts I’m not used to getting.

I sent this product back for a refund for 3 reasons: (1) the steering wheel clamp was quite heavy and seemed like it’d be quite the wrestling match all day way out at the end of the stick plus extension; (2) I live in northern PA in a rural area, so using a stick like this didn’t seem like a safe long term solution for me once the winter hits and I’m on mud, slush & snow covered narrow dirt roads with pot holes, deep ditches, steep hills & oncoming traffic; and (3) I built and installed a steering wheel assembly on the passenger side, already, within the 30-day return window for this steering stick.

Also, I did not like how big the ball was that you use in your hand. I thought about keeping it as a backup (in case my custom steering system ever failed), but with the way I designed it failure seems highly unlikely (and I maintained a steering wheel on the driver side in my design, so I can always reach across in an emergency, anyway).

To be fair, I never installed or used the product, so I have no idea how I may have actually felt about it in the end (which is why I gave it 3 stars, no more, no less). Nonetheless, after finding so much to hate about the gas and brake pedal system I also bought here, I think I made the right choice in sending it back.

Okay so I’ve been using this a couple of weeks. I got it bc I’m a little short and the leaning and pushing myself off the door to reach to complete a turn was NOT cutting it. My regular sent me this link.

I AM THANKFUL!! I purchased a van with RH pedals already installed. I seriously suggest it for shorter RCA’s or vehicles that are wider through the middle. Takes a little getting used to it, but I’ve had plenty time to play with placement on the wheels and using the extension bar that is included.

There are many different things to adjust for optimal performance but essentially I don’t want to do my job without it. It makes it more comfortable to deliver for long hours, and without the back, neck, shoulder pain.

This is and will be part of my regular RCA Life.

I am a rural mail carrier. I bought the steering stick for my mail vehicle instead of all the congestion with another wheel and belt etc. It works well and i love having th extra usable space. Plus, i didn’t have to tear as much out of the veicle so it looks more put together.

It is also really nice to be able to quick release the stick and drive from the original drivers seat for family use! I really need another extension piece though because i still have to lean a little to make the turning motions and get sore from the overextended action.

I can’t see where it is an option to purcase an extra extension. I would recommend this product.
