Wow! This lumbar cushion is even better than I had imagined. I like to sit at my computer at my dining room table and my back ends up killing me, sitting in my wooden dining set chair. This lumbar pillow is a fabulous solution! It comes wonderfully packaged in a secure windowed bag; however the bag was a nightmare to remove the pillow from, in that the zipper did not go all the way around, but only across one way.

Once I finally got my pillow out though. heaven! This super high quality lumbar cushion is firm, but adjusts exactly to you as you use it and easily returns to its starting form when you are done. It has a super soft, very classy looking black cover that has gorgeous aqua specks scattered about.

It has a zipper to remove for washing, although, like the storage bag, the zipper only goes straight across, so removing and putting the cushion back in will be a challenge. One of my FAVORITE things about this cushion is the strap.

Unlike others that simply have an adjustable single strap or strip of elastic, this cushion has a strap that features vertical straps off of it, allowing it to easily hang from my chair without sliding down (think suspenders instead of a belt).

There is a clip on the elastic strap, along with adjustment available, so it is extremely versatile in where and how you can use it. My back feels great with this cushion behind it and I am SO pleased I purchased it.

I know I will be using it for long car trips and desk time! I highly recommend!.

I love this back and lumbar pillow! It has the perfect amount of support. I like that the cover can be washed. The cover is very soft! I use it every day at our kitchen table chairs! It forms right to my back and fits the chair perfectly – it comes with adjustable straps! So with adjustable straps it can fit many different sizes and styles of chairs.

I highly recommend it! I have a very bad back and get pains from sitting. I don’t deal with my back pain as much since using it! I like that this pillow is easy for taking with me in the car, plane, or to other places.

I love this lumbar support! It is the perfect memory foam for me. It is good for my low back pain but it actually feels good all the way up to my shoulder blades. The foam does not smell which is a plus because of allergies, this does not bother my allergies at all.

I keep it in my recliner because the support there is lacking. This now feels like the way my chair should have in the first place. It is lightweight so I can move it around to other chairs or to the car.

It has straps but I haven’t needed to use them. They seem fine, sturdy. The color is nice too. Black goes with everything. I would definitely buy this again and am considering getting another for my hubby so I don’t have to share.

I injured my tailbone from snowboarding and got recommended by my doctor to get a donut cushion. It’s been a week since I’ve been using and it’s okay, not super good. It’s not soft or hard. Though it’s medium, so if I sit on it for too long my butt/thigh gets sore from it.

Couple hours may be ok but no longer than that. My thighs get sore cuz it’s just my butt on the cushion and then my thighs are on the edge of the seat. Even If I put the donut all the way to the front, it doesn’t hit the purpose cuz then I’m basically sitting on my tailbone again.

My chair seat is bigger than the cushion so I have to place it in the middle to back so the hole is aligned with my tailbone. Every now and then I have to adjust it to get comfortable again. I suppose it relieves the pain but it’s not that comfortable.

I sit in other places too like around my house or go outside, so I can’t always bring it around. When I remove the cushion and sit in my own chair it’s like a relief I’m not sitting on a rock.

I have a really old desk chair that has absolutely no cushioning. I spend hours at my desk for work so I needed some extra support. This cushion duo does a fantastic job making my old chair feel brand new.

The seat cushion is very thick, comfy, and made of a soft fabric. The back cushion is just as comfy, with the only problem being that it slides down my chair over time so I have to keep readjusting it.

Also the back seat cushion has straps that you click into place (like a seatbelt) against your chair. The straps or too long though for my chair so I had to knot them to get them to fit snuggly (they still slip down over time though).

If youre a working college student like me who spends almost MAJORITY of their day sitting on a chair, experience frequent lower back pain, and awfully a lot of discomfort from it, then you definitely need to get yourself a lumbar chair cushion just like this one!! Ive had this for almost more than 2 weeks now and I definitely enjoy my sitting experience much better than sitting on the chair alone.

I actually bought TWO of these, one for my office desk at work and one for my studio office at home, so Im very glad I finally decided to pick this up. I regret not looking into this much sooner during my earlier school years! The seat cushion feels very comfortable and soft, almost like memory foam.

The lumbar pillow also has a vey convenient strap that attaches to the back of your chair so that it stays in place. It tends to move down through out the day, but thats because I move in my seat a lot so its easy to just pick it back up to rest properly on the lumbar of my back.

The fabric is also very smooth and of great quality. For the price, it is great value for the money compared to the more expensive options. Definitely recommending this product!.

Frequent flying seriously hurting my tail bone and peach muscle. Bought this and it works plushly. It’s large and thick just enough to work yet LIGHT IN WEIGHT. It fits in my smallest Tumi 20 inch carry on case or my medium to large size backpack because it squeezes.

Width is within economy seat so it doesn’t spill to neighbors’ seats. Side handle has a tight button to open in half so you can hang it to any unopened loop on your luggage outside. It goes with me whether I fly economy or business.

Don’t know how long it’ll stay plushy but 16 flights of 2-5 hours so far within 2 weeks since I bought it and it’s still plushy as Day One.

I like it; it is comfortable and not hot in a way that could cause sweating. I may even try a cushion that is a little more stiff to see how my body may react. Though this cushion is perfectly satisfactory all round.

I have now been using this Vive Gel Seat Cushion for about three weeks now. While it may be better to allow a bit more time before writing this, and I have had the use of the cushion for a bit longer period, the only real benefit would then be my ability to attest to the, ‘wear factor.

‘ In other words just how durable, or long-lived is the product? It certainly seems to be very sound structurally and has been tremendous, up to the present. It is so nice that there is no, ‘break-in,’ or anything like that.

The cushion is immediately deeply comforting to sit on. The cushion is DENSE and LUXURIOUS, and yet, while the cushion is INCREDIBLY SOFT, it is not so soft that one loses any sense of stability, or support.

To combine a depth of luxurious comfort, with a sense of stability and support, is a rather amazing feat, but this cushion beautifully achieves that. I believe that along with the excellent level of comfort afforded from the cushion, it seems as though its comfort tends to enable one to sit with relative ease for a longer period of time, and, will likely aid circulation as well.

I have found that I am able to sit for a considerably longer period of time, without feeling as though I need to get up to walk around. Cannot recommend this item highly enough, I myself was skeptical and didn’t think this would do much at all to alleviate lower back pain I had. I spend way too much time in an office chair and it takes it’s toll on your lower back more than we realize I think.

It had gotten to the point that I was uncomfortable most all day every day just trying to do my work. This took me a few days to get used to, it feels unnatural and that it won’t actually make sitting more comfortable, however after only a few days I was already feeling less strain and pressure.

These days I am completely comfortable with it behind me and love the support that it adds to my lower back. I imagine it is forcing me to sit with better posture and not slump over as much as I did previously, but it also just provides comfortable support as well.

I really like to push my back into it and feel that pressure as it hits just the right spots. I am such a fan of the product that I’m now considering the accompanying seat cushion or support that is sold by them.

Couldn’t be happier with this and it absolutely does everything it says it does. You will find it odd at first but give it a few days to adjust to. It is very great quality as well, it is firm and has a nice covering on it that I cannot see wearing out anytime soon, and the adjustable straps make it easily fit large or smaller backed chairs.

The lumbar support cushion is comfortable – very firm without being rigid, as one of my other supports has become. The back support has been good while I recover from lower back surgery, especially when it can attach to a chair.

Because it has the attachment straps, it doesn’t fit as well on a couch or larger upholstered chair, so I have a different lumbar cushion to carry with me for those uses. I would like to find one of similar structure without the attached straps.

Incidentally, there may have been a picture, with the shipped materials, of being positioned higher on the chair than I use it. And that is only possible with the straps. Using it for mid-back support might be a very good solution for other back issues but I use it as low as the surface of whatever furniture I’m sitting on.

I ordered this cushion for my daughter on January 29, 2021 and it literally arrived the following day. That was insanely quick turnaround. FedEx made the delivery. The box was badly battered, but the cushion remained safe.

It is different from what is visually shown and described on here. I emailed customer service inquiring about it, but Mary said the version I received is the latest variety. Mary was kind, understanding, efficient and quick in response.

This cushion has dual purpose for sitting on either hard and softer surfaces. Therefore mitigates pelvic pain on seating in most situations. Although this is the second most expensive of the Purple brand cushions, it is worth every dollar for pain relief and longer sitting times.

I have two others, the Royal for very hard surfaces and the Foldaway for portable use. Over a few years, I have experimented with countless cushion design, some costing far more. The Purple brand works the best of all!.

I am disappointed. Top rated item on several websites does not really deliver. For me, it is undersized (width). I wanted something for my (large) office chair which has a steel frame and mesh seat (and back).

The pillow does not cover the edges of the chair seat, so the both front corners, my legs drop off the pillow on to the steel frame. Comfort? When I first sit down, I feel the “squish” from the compression.

Seems like it should help. But, I don’t notice any sustained difference between sitting on the cushion or sitting directly on the mesh. And, finally, the directions, or lack thereof. The cushion has different size checkerboard patterns on the two sides.

OK. That’s the “dual” part. But, why? Is he cushion supposed to provide more comfort one way and more firmness the other? Be nice to have a pamphlet explaining. Then again, I’ve tried it both ways and haven’t noticed a difference.

So, I guess, “dual” is just a marketing ploy.

I buy a new set of “booty cushions” as we call them every year because I literally can’t sit without them. I broke my back inmates T11 & L1 & have a disc replacement at L4-L5, & a fusion at L5-S1, & have spectacular disc degeneration, etc.

Moral of the story: don’t fall when rock climbing, but if you do, DEFINITELY get great booty & lumbar cushions! So, I’ve tried SO MANY brands & Everlasting Comfort has the BEST I’ve tried, lasted the longest too with daily use (in car, when I go anywhere, but since I can’t often sit at my dining table anyway cuz I’m deed by dinner, home always has last year’s model.

The ONLY thing That takes stars for me is the lack of a carry strap. My lumbar pillow has the back straps (though they’re HUGNORMOUSLY LONG) so it’s relatively easy to grab on the quick, but the EC booty pillow doesn’t have that delightful little carry strap at the notch that the CYLEN(?) brand & others have.

So I drop it a lot. Which is yuck because then I have to bend down & pick it up. I have tremor & arthritis in my hands & I drop stuff all day, so carry straps are a must. But honestly, I’m still probably going to get another one of these guys anyway because when they’re most needed they get it done.

I can see MOVIES again! I can road trip & go on long plane rides again! These seat & lumbar cushions are my most critically important mobility devices. They enable me to get around & be a person! Glorious! Nitpicks things: don’t love the white bottom, do love the non-skid dots, don’t love the ginormous blue EC logo on each just because I like to be stealthy & they are a little bit attention grabbing, but I do love that they’re embroidered in & not printed because the printed ones fade & lift after a while & when people inquire as to the brand, I can’t tell them without looking it up, but always can with the embroidered ones.

The CLN was embroidered too. And dang, that glorious strap. But the EC is just a better product. It’s decently squishy but in the year+ that I’ve had & used it, it hasn’t noticeably compressed, and many do that.

I think it’s the type of foam. Would like squishier, but those only last about 2 months & that gets spendy. Feels like a tukkas cloud though. So if you’re a kajillionaire, get the booty clouds & replace them every 2 months.

If you’re a normal person who would like to sit for longer than a minute without breaking out your fillings because you’re gnashing your teeth so hard against the pain, get the Eternal Comfort pillows, both seat & lumbar/ back.

I wish I had bought this chair cushion/support much sooner. I’ve had the back support on my chair for several months now and could not be happier. My computer chair that I use most days has seen better days and the padding in the seat part is just gone these days, it is flat and hard and was causing me more discomfort than I realized.

I was hesitant to buy this, it is quite a pricey product for it just being some memory foam, but let me tell you it is some AMAZING memory foam, it is softer than I expected and firmer. It has provided so much support and comfort from only using it a few days now that I cannot believe I was hesitant to buy it I can say with confidence you will not be disappointed by the quality and comfort your bottom is in store for.

Other surprises are the fact that the design worked so well, I thought the **** in the front and the missing cut out in the back would in fact make this awkward to sit on but it is quite the opposite, they knew what they were doing when they molded it in this shape as it contours and tailors perfectly do you and feels quite natural.

Along with the back rest of the same model you can even take an old beat up computer chair from painful to 100% comfort. I still need to replace my chair sometime soon, but both of these products will go directly into the new chair when I get it.

They are worth every penny for the satisfaction and comfort provided.

I bought one of these years ago (10+) and absolutely love it. I bought a new one for my husband who was having some back problems from sitting all day at the computer. I noticed that while the shape and color is the same, the foam is a little stiffer and they used a cheaper cover material.

It’s still a good product, it just doesn’t breath and give as well as my old one. Some of this may be due to the old pillow’s foam degregating over time, but I used to work as an engineer making memory foam at a US plant and it feels like a slightly different formula with a more filler.

I bought one of these many years ago and it had the true Tempur-pedic material which was very pliable and when you would squeeze it you would leave your finger in print and I will take a little while for that to come back.

It was and is still my favorite pillow. I ordered two new ones because I wanted one to travel with and I thought it was still the same. Unfortunately it is not. The material is harder and more spongy so although it forms to me it doesn’t allow me to rest into it, it pushes back at me which actually does the opposite of what we need this kind of material to do.

And it’s not nearly as comfortable. So terribly disappointed.

I have found that the Lumbar cushion has made a huge difference for me after I first used it (many years ago) to help my back so I could walk after I had severe back pain in the Lower Back on a trip.

I have and still use it every day to do my back exercises when I get up in the morning. It relaxes the small of my back and really helps with an affective work out for the day to reduce any back pain.

I bought this as I broke my Coccyx in a fall almost 25 yrs ago; it hadn’t been bothersome but, since working from home/pandemic onset, I have been spending long hours in a home office chair (not a regular office chair).

I love this cushion so much I ordered a second one. One to keep in the car and one as a mobile cushion. Its very comfortable and has a removable, washable cover, and a built in handle on the side. I have no doubt it will make my rather boney bottom just that more happy when I go to the library to use the computer or when I go to the clubhouse for Dominoes or cards.

I had adominal surgery so I was unable to do my back exercises and it started to act up and I was also getting number in my rear end from sitting all day as I work at a desk and had to keep re-situating myself and it was causing pain in my abdoment.

I had tried pillows, blankets and towel and even a foam cushion but that was not working and I had to get up no less than every hour and walk around for a few minutes and by the end of the day it was more like every 30 minutes.

The foam cushion I was using was only 2 inches thick but it totally compressed but this is thick enough and I think the gel top also seems to add more support as it does not sink as low and leaves a cushion underneath.

Since I have been using it I can do my normal times I get up and move around and I do not get numb anymore so I am not constantly shifting around and inflaming my adomen. Once I got really involved in work and did not take a break or get up for almost 4 hours and I noticed I was getting numb but if I take my normal breaks it seems to be working great.

I read many reviews while looking for a pillow for my office chair. I had my doubts, but the positive reviews made me choose this product. I must say, that I noticed a difference in my pain levels immediately.

I was scared that it would go flat after 8 hours of daily use, but it is great. I have had two failed lower back surgeries so I am in pain while sitting, standing, lying down, blinking. you get the idea.

The seat cushion that I received was brand-spanking new. I saw photos of customers doing the “finger pinch” test on their purchased cushion, I tried it and was able to pinch the cushion between my 2 fingers as well.

But let me point out the cushion was created and made for my rear posterior (in other words – my butt) and not for my fingers. Now that I got that off my chest, let’s talk about my experience: I bought the cushion strictly for driving purposes.

I love driving (I can drive for hours on end) but sadly after about 2 hours or so on the seat, my tailbone goes from an ache to a throbbing pain and no amount of squirming will relieve it. From the 1st second I sat on my new pillow, I knew we were going to be friends! The “softness” feel on my rear end was my 1st positive indication, but the real test would be a long distance drive.

So I went for a 4-hour cruise and never once got out of my truck, I wanted to see and feel how much abuse the cushion could/would take. I weight 200 pounds, and I’m waiting for the cushion to flatten out like a pancake, thus making my tailbone scream in terror and frustration.

I’m tall and so most chairs have seats that are too short for my long legs. The front edge of the chair, which should be behind your knees, hits me in the middle of my thighs, applying pressure and decreasing the circulation in my legs.

So this helps by raising my butt at the back of the chair, while also raising my thighs so they’re not pressing the edge of the seat. The edges of a seat are bolstered for strength and in order to keep the shape, so it’s not a fault of one particular chair.

This cushion has a nice, soft cover and some rubber texture on the bottom that helps it from sliding around. It still moves around a bit, but it’s a huge improvement over using my chair without it. And the price was reasonable compared to the cost of similar cushions.

I’ve only had this for less than 24 hours and instantly fell in love. I used it for my car ride to and from work, the 25min drive was as comfortable as it could ever get. Love how sturdy and stiff it is and actually molds to your bum.

I also like to sit on the floor of my carpeted bedroom a lot and I brought this from my car to my bedroom and wow it makes the floor feel like a comfy sofa cushion. The only chair I had for my desk was a metal fold up chair, and I could not afford a fancy desk chair. This made my desk almost unusable, because the card table chairs were uncomfortable, and also sat too low to the desk.

SO glad I purchased these. This cushion set is one of the best purchases I have made. It is so comfortable, even on my dinky fold up chair. Additionally, the cushion adds a few inches to your sitting height (maybe 2 or 3, I’m not completely certain), so now my fold up chair is EXACTLY the right height for my desk! (But do be aware of this, in case your chair is already high enough or too high – it will add a couple inches.

Someone wrote back promptly. They were so kind. They kept following up, and made sure I got my cushions. Once I received them, they reached out again just to make sure they were good and that I was happy with them, and that I was not having any issues.

I really liked these guys. Inside the box (the cushions came packaged in a box), there was a little hand out mentioning that this is a small business that makes these cushions. I don’t remember how many employees, but I remember it saying something about maybe 20 employees or so.

There was a picture of what I assume is the entire staff on the little insert. This made me even happier, because I’m really happy I got to support a small business with this purchase. These guys were stellar, and the cushions are amazing.

I am VERY happy with this seat cushion! I bought this seat cushion duo for use in my car seat. I do a whole lot of driving most days, and I also have a condition that causes my nerves to become tingly and numb if I am in certain positions for too long, including the position I am in when sitting in my car seat.

I was hoping that this seat cushion would comfortably and effectively change the dynamics of my position so that I wouldn’t loose feeling in my body with all my driving. And it worked!!! I bought this shortly before taking a long driving trip to visit family, and I was so much more comfortable, and had no nerve problems at all! That was back in November 2021, and since then I have continued to have to drive a whole lot, and this cushion has been a life saver for my nerves, keeping them tingle and numbness free! It is very well made, both structurally, and as far as firmness and ergonomics! I would definitely recommend this seat to anyone who needs it, for any kind of firm sitting needs: car seats, office seats, gaming seats, etc.

I like that I do feel like my back feels better when using it. I dislike that it smells awful –like it got wet and began to mold. Also my back began to itch after using it and I have a small insect bite mark.

I think this product may have not been stored in plastic the entire time and possibly insects or bed bugs got in it. I don’t have any bed bugs in my house and my clothes are washed frequently. This is the only new product I’ve been using.

Based on the smell, I have very little doubt that it has been exposed to some elements and then repackaged. May even be used.

The seat padding on my office chair went flat so I was looking for something to make it comfortable again. The styling and comfort is pretty nice, but the underside doesn’t have any rubber. It is a bit small for me.

On regular padded or flat chairs, I can feel where this cushion tapers & stops.

I’m working from home, and spending a lot more hours per day in the same chair than pre-COVID. That lead me to feel the need for an extra cushion in my home office chair, for comfort purposes. I decided I wanted memory foam and a gel layer, not just foam.

This cushion offers both. One concern in selecting a cushion is how it will perform for a larger person. I’ve been using it daily for several weeks now, and am pleased to report that I detect no changes.

So I would say that it can be expected to perform well for persons weighing up to 250 pounds. The major shortcoming, in my opinion, is that it is smaller than the seat of my chair. I would really like it to be about 3 inches longer in the front-to-back dimension.

When it is positioned appropriately to support my hips, it stops about 3 inches before the front edge of the chair seat. Unfortunately all the memory foam and gel style cushions seem to be about the same size.

The design and materials are unique in my experience. For the first time ever, I can get up after two hours of keyboard work and not feel that my spine has been crushed. There is zero pressure on one’s spine, thanks to the design.

Users should remember, though, that they make the correct use of this cushion only if their seating arrangement is correct: right seat height, good back support, feet together and square on the floor.

This cushion is amazing! I have a very bad back and had been struggling with sitting on pillows in the car. This cushion has little grippers on the bottom so you don’t misplace it getting in and out of the car.

Is it VERY comfortable and just the right size. I’m going to order another one for my office chair. I highly recommend it!.
