New to this curly girl lifestyle. My hair has always been slightly wavy and then the last two years it has become curly. It is also very thick and coarse. Along with the newly found curls, came the frizz.

I have purchased A TON of products this last year and finally saw a YouTube video where someone recommended Aveda products so I gave them a try. Specifically for the shampoo it left my hair squeaky clean but it didn’t feel dehydrated.

Love the smell. New favorite!.

Aveda products have a great reputation and is a well known stable product. I tried this shampoo for approximately 6 months and it didn’t suit my curly/wavy hair. Nice looking professional packing that smells delightful.

Unfortunately I am unable to list and visible benefits to the appearance/texture of my hair so promptly stopped using it. So sorry to say this isn’t for me, we are all different. I would recommend try before you buy if possible.

I personally will not be using again. I have since found an amazing product that I adore.

The only thing good about this, for me, is the smell. This is just not a good conditioner IMO. I have long, thick hair. I do not use heat of any kind, deep condition regularly, and get regular trims.

All the stores around me stopped selling my HG, so I thought I’d give this a try. I knew immediately I didn’t like it (hair felt drier, more coarse frizzy, *super* tangly), but I wasn’t going to let it go to waste.

After 2 weeks of use I’ve got split ends! Everywhere! Y’all, I don’t get split ends and I just had a trim about 3 weeks before starting use. So, I’m going for a cut tomorrow and throwing the rest of this out! Sorry OGX.

This is the third OGX product I tried and another disappointment. I have medium curly hair (as in not too fine and not too thick) not too oily nor too dry, currently dehydrated on the ends. and this shampoo made my hair feel so heavy, my curls do not have any shape, crazy frizz (yes I have a microfiber towel and tried with t-shirt as well), and a greasy scalp.

I have tried shampoos with sulfate that shape my curls even more and they don’t leave this mess. I’m happy it works for other people. I personally think the smell of OGX products are too strong for my liking and I get sick of that really fast.

Before that, I tried Coconut Milk and argan oil and all of them had the same effect with minor differences that were not positive as well. Coconut milk worked better in shaping my curls but still left these greasy heavy frizzy vibes all over.

Their air-dry curl styler is the only OGX product I liked so far.

I brought this product for a cheaper alternative. I was really disapointed with the results and damage ir had done to my hair. It made me lose hair, made my hair dry and frizzy. Although it smells nice its completly ruined my curls and turned them back to frizz.

Not a good product. Shea moistuer is amazing!! It is just quite expensive! However it nutures your curls and revitlize them in the long-term.

I don’t know why they are calling this “original” since it is nothing like the original formula. I used No-Poo and other Deva products exclusively for about 10 years and loved the brand. Then a couple of years ago, I noticed that there was a slightly different smell to the No-Poo & the product seemed to go bad after a short while and cause skin irritation for me and my kiddos.

I compared labels from some older travel bottles a year or so ago, and the ingredients were the same, so most likely it was just a different formula or fragrance. I stopped using around that time because the irritation was causing my hair to thin.

I decided to try No-Poo again after the 2021 re-brand, hoping they had realized their mistake and gone back to the original formula. But instead Deva implemented a totally new coconut based formula, which inflamed my scalp & neck so much that I only used it once.

This addition of coconut ingredients appears to be true for other rebranded Deva Products (noticeably One Condition, which I was still using without issue up until the rebrand). If you know you’re allergic to coconut-based oils or alcohols or if you have sensitive skin, you may want to skip this one.

Also, my condolences to anyone in the former group because coconut-free products (including cetearyl or stearyl alcohol) are extremely hard to find, and if you’re also sensitive to Shea or Argan or palm oils, forget it.

I’m sticking to Castile-type cleansers until I find a product line that works and doesn’t have these common allergens.

I have strawberry blonde hair I bleach regularly, so squirting a ton of toning shampoo on my dry head for an hour is a regular part of my post-salon routine. I pretty much only use purple but I received a free small bottle of this and emptied it onto my roots last night while I took a 45 minute bath followed by a shower rinse.

Y’all I have NEVER used a toning shampoo that left my hair feeling nicer. Even almost 24 hours later it feels like I did a deep conditioning mask on my hair last night. I’m talking salon level softness.

Oh, and it DID effectively tone the orange out of my hair! It’s a wonderful pastel blonde now, not blue or purple but no longer noticeably warm. I will be buying this 5ever.

Been a dedicated brand fan using Deva Curl for over 15 years. When I started using it, it was this wholesome product smelled like mint and rosemary, then it was modified to a more milky/vanilla smell.

This latest change to the product is extremely disappointing, it smells like a cheap toxic product. I am no longer a dedicated customer. I guess the influencers posts that talked about the horrible changes to Deva Curl and bad side effects were perhaps true.

I have naturally wavy/semi curly hair that’s prone to frizz. Summer in New England wrecks havoc on my hair with the humidity. My hair dresser introduced me to cassette. It smells so nice, like all RCo products do.

After the first use, my hair is nice and soft and the frizz was reduced. I found my wave/curl pattern set easier after using both the shampoo and the conditioner together. It’s expensive but it actually works and is gentle on hair.

After months of suffering with a constant rash down my back, I finally determined it was being caused by the shampoo and conditioner I was using. I decided to switch to a vegan, all natural shampoo and conditioner and have been more than happy with the Cassette Curl Defining Shampoo.

Not only has my rash cleared up, but the shampoo is gentle and nourishing to my very curly hair. It is also quite concentrated so a little goes a long way.

The first thing I noticed upon opening this conditioner is the soft coconut water and subtle citrus scent. The scent is balanced. This conditioner is super light-weight and gentle. My hair tends to like a medium thick consistency when it comes to conditioner.

That way it’s easier for me to detangle and give my hair the extra moisture it needs. Although this wasn’t the best match for me, I think this would be perfect for fine curl heads that want a light-weight conditioner that isn’t going to weigh curls/waves down.

I’m giving this product a 4 out of 5 stars because I like how gentle the scent is. As someone that is sensitive to scents and fragrance, I appreciate how soft and subtle the scent is. I would’ve given this conditioner a five out of five stars if it were more moisturizing.

I think this shampoo and it’s partner conditioner would work better on someone with fine curls hence it being a product for fine curls. I’ve noticed how the affordable options are limited when it comes to fine curls.

They’re either too thick, weigh down curls/waves, are too fragrant etc. I think this duo could be IT for someone else! Disclaimer: I have type 3b/3c hair and have been natural for three years. My hair is color-treated.

Although my hair is thin, it isn’t fine. I tried this product for the course of three weeks to really see how the product works along with it’s partner conditioner and followed with my leave-in.

I received this product for free from @Influensterca @OGX_beauty in exchange for my honest review! For context, I have wavy hair, with medium level thickness (not thick or thin) I usually wash my hair 3/week so I don’t dry out my hair.

This is a pretty light weight shampoo. It moisturizes my wavy hair without weighing it down. After 2 uses I got the hang of this shampoo because it didn’t lather up as much as I expected it to. I use a generous yolk size amount for my short hair make sure my hair is completely wet before rubbing it in.

I like it like that as it lathers and cleans my hair pretty well. I’ve been using it in tandem with their conditioner and I’ve noticed my hair being more hydrated and voluminous. The product also smelt like Pina colada, which I loved! It’s this wonderful tropical coconut scent that’s not overwhelming or sharp.

I also think the $10 price point is fantastic and super affordable. I also had my little sister (more thin straight hair) try this and she liked it. She isn’t a huge fan of coconut scents but she liked this shampoo because the scent wasn’t overwhelming.

This shampoo has reviews all over the place bc everyone’s hair is different and seems to react differently to products. For me and for my both my scalp and my curls, this shampoo was not the one. It left my scalp super itchy and my curls just sort of hung there.

I thought the problem was me, so I used my whole bottle and tried dozens of different methods and schedules of washing, different ways to dry after, different conditioners, gels, etc. , but it just didn’t work for me.

It might have been overly perfumes and causing allergic issues with my scalp, not sure why it left my scalp so itchy, and it definitely dried out my hair, even with conditioners and deep conditioners and the whole nine yards.

My suggestion: if you have curly haired friends, or find a travel size of this bottle, try it a couple times before you buy your own bottle. It’s frustrating to waste a product bc it isn’t working for your hair.

My Hair Is Wavy And Not Super Dry But This Feels Very Conditioning And Helps Tame Frizz. I Use This As A Regular Rinse Out Conditioner And Comb My Hair While It’s In. The Smell Is Nice But Fairly Subtle.

Personally, I Do Not Like This For A Cowash Or A Leave In As It Is Too Heavy For My Hair, So Thats Why I Only Gave 4 Stars. I Use About 3 Or 4 Pumps For My Thick Hair That Is About 4 Inches Longer Than My Collarbones.

I Have Had This Bottle For Over 6 Months And It Is Still About 1/3 Full, But I Only Use It Once Or Twice A Week. I Mixed About 10 Pumps With My Purple Semi Permanent Hair Color Once And Really Enjoyed That.

I know it’s been a super long while since I posted, but that’s because I’ve been testing a lot of products to share! Today I’m going to share my thoughts on the Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Line!Lately, I’ve been using the shampoo, 3-in-1 conditioner, and curl defining cream.

All 3 products have Rice Curl Complex-a blend of rice, keratin amino acids, and enzymes to hydrate, condition, protect, and enhance curl retention. This is a nice protein-moisture balance but I could definitely see the need for the protein-free curl masque to prevent going too far to the protein side.

As far as fragrance goes, I’m happy to report that unlike many in the curly girl approved world, the scent on these products is light, floral, and non-irritating to those who are scent sensitive. The price-point on these is also super nice though not as affordable as my old stand by Hello Hydration from Herbal Essences which is.

30 an ounce. The Not Your Mother’s will set you back about. 70 an ounce for the shampoo and conditioner. That said the HE line is now no longer CGM approved and they changed the formulation to the point that I can’t use it anymore.

A similar quality product from SheaMoisture is roughly. 92 per ounce and overall this is a very affordable and readily available option.

First off I love Kerastase hair products. However I have wasted money accidentally purchasing shampoos by them containing sulfates so this shampoo made me happy and as an added bonus, this is formulated for curly hair! I have no idea what type of hair I have but it’s basically wavy and frizzy not coiled curly but curly wavy if that makes any sense? I have not used this shampoo without using the conditioner that goes along with it so I can’t speak to how this works without it but I feel like a hair care works best when they are paired with their are complementing product and for my hair the shampoo along side the conditioner works really well.

My hair is soft it smells great and unlike some sulfate free shampoos the stuff lathers is up really well in the shower! so for me this is a five-star product and I have nothing bad to say about it. I don’t use curl enhancing products to actually enhance my curls I use them to hydrate because I tend to blow dry my hair straight so again can’t speak to how well it’s curling my hair but I can tell you that my hair definitely feels more hydrated and the more hydrated your hair is the more your curls will bounce and shine and look pretty.

I did receive this shampoo as part of a promotion so it was free but these are my actual results it’s not like your product will be confiscated unless you give it a five star review lol.

I am in my mid forties, with hair down halfway down my thighs with ballayage. Hair has gt some greys, is fine-ish in texture with a clump at the crown that is coarse. Knots and breaks easily. I tried the keratase gel cream a few times.

It didn’t do anything on dry hair apart from smelling absolutely divine. I then tried to dampen the dry hair to see if that would work but my fingers felt sticky icky. I then tried it on damp hair a few times and let it naturally dry.

Scrunching it to get better curls. My hair simply looked like wurzel gummidge on a really really bad hair day on the 1st time on damp hair. You know the look like you’ve been through a tornado a couple of times.

Now when I put my hair in a bun it usually clumps together just below the neck like extinct creatures are harbouring in it somewhere. I did find that after I washed it 3rd time this didn’t happen, the hair was a little smoother to but fizzing was more than usual.

3rd time of application I got all the excess water out and applied on wet hair and again let it dry naturally. Results were better no grenade gone off disaster in the hair. Did the Scrunching as it was drying but I was left with more of a wavy look than curls, so maybe it relaxed my curls more than they should.

However it did make a difference to the breakage and falling out of my hair. Still went back to being frizzy after a few hours of application. Not as much knotting and clumping pre use. This didn’t work for me maybe it may work for others.

I will still be using it as it does have some benefits and see if there are any further benefits or results. I did have to use a lot of it due to the length of my hair. Everyone’s hair is different not everyone has the same hair texture etc as me, so it may work well for others.

I’ve asked a few friends to try it and it seems to work well on shorter hair styles.

I received a free sample of this to try and review. My hair has a curl when air-dried, so I was hoping this would be a better alternative to using gel and a diffuser for volume. I tried this three different ways.

I used this as an add-on to my dry hair that was curly first. It made my hair seem oily, so I definitely wouldn’t use it that way, even though the curls stayed. The second way I used it was adding it to damp hair and letting my hair air dry.

This actually loosened my curls and left them less defined, which I didn’t like. They did stay the same all day, and the smell was nice. No oily feeling and probably the best way of using it. The last way was using my diffuser after applying this to damp hair.

I lost almost all of the curl with this product in when I used the diffuser. I’d say if you add this to damp hair and let it airdry, it will give you the best results. I prefer the way my hair looks with a mousse more than this for sure.

It may work better only very curly hair.

I have tried out several of Maui Moisture’s conditioners, and this coconut oil one is BY FAR my favorite! This conditioner has an AMAZING tropical/fruity/clean fragrance to it. It has a medium thick consistency to it, which I prefer over being too runny, or too thick making it difficult to squeeze out of the bottle.

I leave this conditioner on while I am performing the rest of my shower routine. This way I can give the conditioner enough time to soak into my freshly shampooed hair. I have pretty dry hair so this coconut oil conditioner does it wonders.

Once it has been on my hair for a sufficient amount of time high brush it out under the running water. I have very tingle prone hair but this conditioner makes detangling a breeze. After rinsing out the product I am left with silky smooth hair that smells amazing.

My mom has thick, coarse hair so I had her try out this conditioner as well. She too was left with beautiful, silky hair after using this conditioner! I have wavy hair and this conditioner really brought out and defined my wave pattern.

I think this would be a lovely conditioner for others with wavy to curly hair. I am absolutely satisfied with this conditioner, and I will be repurchasing. Highly recommend!.

Hair background: I have medium to high density hair. My hair is medium porosity type 4a natural hair. Product: This conditioner has a thick consistency. it is white and has a very pleasent scent. in terms of the packaging I wish it was bigger because you tend to use more conditioner than shampoo as a curly girl.

so I would change the packaging to be bigger and also an upside down packaging to help with product flow. Product on natural hair: Not sure if it is safe for color treated hair. However it worked well on my un-color treated hair.

This conditioner is not as conditioning as other conditioners which is the main reason why I rated it as I did. it absorbs very well into my dehydrated hair but it didnt condition it well. It also did not have alot of slip and I found detangling my hair with flowing water easier than detangling my hair with this conditioner.

it is an overall ok conditioner for natural hair but it needs a follow up leave in conditioner. I have attached a photo of my hair after I washed it to see. On my wigs this worked great. it wasn’t to heavy and it conditioned them well.

I tried the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream so my review is for all 3 together. First of all, the scent!! It is the most amazing tropical coconutty scent that really lasts on your hair. The shampoo is Curly Girl approved but the other products are not, unfortunately.

This line is designed for thick curly hair but I have thin slightly wavy hair, so understand that my review is coming from that perspective. The shampoo lathered up really nicely but didn’t feel like it was stripping my hair.

It’s sulfate free so I’m not sure where the lather was coming from but I loved it! The conditioner and curl cream had really good slip and helped me form great clumps. Because my hairs are thin, I chose to put the cream on soaking wet hair and scrunched most of it out (I believe the directions say to use it on towel dried hair).

I finished off with mousse and was left with a great cast that scrunched out beautifully. While I’m a little concerned about the non curly girl approved ingredients, overall this is an awesome line and such a steal!! Very happy!.

I was excited to try a new curl enhancing product. I have curl type 2a that usually takes well to a lighter product. This product felt heavy and oily. Once I rinsed it out throughly it still felt as if there was a heaviness and oiliness left in my hair.

The fragrance was a very strong coconut smell. Though it didn’t smell bad, it was completely overpowering and sweet smelling. As I continued to add to my hair from this line of product, the fragrance only got stronger, and the product only felt heavier and greasier.

I would say if you love a heavily fragranced product and have a curlier curl type (maybe coarser hair and more of a ringlet curl) this product may work well for you. For me with fine hair and a more “delicate” curl type, this product weighed down my hair and wasn’t very effective.

That with the overpowering fragrance I will be sticking with my current line of product. For now, I’ll be walking around smelling like Malibu Barbie until my next wash day.

I’m shocked at the number of negative reviews on this shampoo because my boyfriend and I have been really happy with the curly line. We’ve gone through a full size bottle and jumbo bottle of the shampoo and two full sizes of the conditioner.

We both have thick, heavy, long curly hair (no idea what hair types. I’ve never bothered to learn) and switched to this line from the Perfect Hair Day line. It works a lot better at softening and defining our curls.

And my hair doesn’t tangle as quickly as it used to between showers. Literally the only complaint my boyfriend and I have is that it doesn’t smell as nice as the PhD line (it smells fine, we just really like the PhD scent).

I have noticed that we seem to shed more hair in the shower than we used to, but honestly we both shed *a lot* and are used to it. Never occurred to me that might be related to the switch. I do tend to use a lot of shampoo at a time since it doesn’t lather, but I feel like it leaves my scalp and hair moisturized, not dried out.

I’m sorry to hear not everyone has had the same experience I have. But I love this product, so will keep using.

I want to start by saying that I love some of the other Living Proof products I’ve come to learn that the products are very hit or miss. Unfortunately this one was a miss. I received a bottle as a gift from my mom and since I love their curling cream, I thought I would love this too.

When washing, I didn’t feel like it really cleaned my hair at all. It wasn’t sudsy and didn’t foam at all when scrubbing my scalp which made me feel like I had to use so many handfuls of it. I went through the product so fast because I felt like it wasn’t working.

It also left my hair feeling really dry, almost like a stringy, straw like texture. I also didn’t notice that my hair was any more curly after using this product, if anything, it made my hair more frizzy.

I’ve tried plenty of other shampoos that I like much better like the Davines or purology. I would recommend trying something else instead.

For years I worked laboriously to smooth, straighten, transform my natural curly hair. I finally gave in, as my hair grew more & more silver and a different texture! So I embraced my curly hair and started the process of finding quality products.

I found them , but they all smelled exactly the same! Then I saw an ad for Living Proof Curl Products. Absolutely no coconut, beach smell!. just fresh flowers, gentle breezes, with a hint of a subtle spice that smells like sunshine!! They are a bit pricey, but it’s by far, hands down, the cleanest, fresh smelling curl product out there! I confess I use it when I need an extra “oomph “ to my ego.

This shampoo gets so many compliments. It’s that “special date” shampoo!.

I don’t blow dry nor do I dye my hair. I use hair creams and sometime flexible styling hair sprays not related to this brand. With that said, with this shampoo I sometimes have to lather twice to really feel like I fully removed any hair products, other than that, this shampoo does lather well & has a soft smell to it.

It’s winter here at the moment and this shampoo is not helping with my winter dandruff, which it’s okay, I scalp detox once a week & that helps for a while, not this brand either, but I’m mentioning it incase you think it helps moisturize your scalp.

As for conditioner, I use a different brand too & thanks because I like how my conditioner defines my curls but unfortunately this other brand conditioner does not add volume, niece I’m done with what I have, I’ll try the conditioner for Ouidad.

This curl cream would be great for you if you’re not looking to have too much hold in your hair. It’s thick, but it doesn’t create a very strong cast for me. As you can see, my hair is already frizzing at the roots and it’s not completely dry yet.

There’s no cast to scrunch out. The pump is also really hard to use and only dispenses like a dime size of product with each pump, which means I need to pump twice just to get enough for one section of hair.

It is very hydrating, so I can’t knock it down too much, but it is probably my least favorite ouidad product, which is saying a lot because I LOVE ouidad. Basically, just stick to the hydrating gel.

The shampoo performed well, but the scent is terrible. It smells like watermelon and is tacky. I like elevated products. This is far from that. I will spend the extra bucks to get the experience that comes with Ouai, Davines, R andCo from here on out.

I discovered RizosCurls earlier this year and was excited to learn about their “curl love is self love” philosophy. I received their Rizos Reina Box for my birthday and from then on continued using their products (most frequently the shampoo/conditioner).

I loved the way it made my curls soft, hydrated, and bouncy. I recommended it to my sister a couple of months ago and we used it simultaneously for around 2-3 months. For some time now ( I can’t pinpoint exactly when that’s why it was so difficult for me to name these products as the culprits) I’ve noticed increasing hair loss.

I blamed it on everyday stress, changes in diet, and even the weather. I went back to check the reviews RizosCurls received on Ulta randomly and noticed that some had written about hair loss. I mentioned this offhand to my sister a couple of weeks ago and that’s when she told me she’d started to notice hair loss too.

Immediately, I stopped using these products and bought a different shampoo. Since then, I have noticed the excessive hair loss stop. I’m disappointed and hurt that this brand I loved so much ended up causing me bigger problems than I originally had.

I don’t know how many of their products I can trust. Did it give me the illusion of soft, healthy, and moisturized hair? Yes. Are the newly discovered bald spots worth it? Never.

CALLING ALL CURLY GALS AND GUYS! Get these products! This is DAY 2 HAIR! I love these products for what they do and for the person behind it! The creator is Julissa Prado, an LA native and Hispanic woman who is killin it! Her products are plant based and made with good ingredients that also smell super great.

I cannot praise these enough. I have everything pictured— the shampoo and conditioner, leave-in conditioner, cream, and gel. I also use her flexi-brush and her blow dryer diffuser attachment that is collapsible for easy transport.

She released new scalp oils and masks that are definitely on my “to buy” list. My hair is wavy and curly. I have low porosity hair (meaning it is hard for moisture to get in and out. ) You can test your stand of hair by putting it in glass of water. So i mention this bc i don’t think this product works for me, bc i have low porosity.

It made my hair super dry bc the formula was staying in my hair. It felt like residue that couldn’t be washed out. I think the residue was getting stuck in my low poreous hair, thus water couldnt get in or out.

The conditioner was the same too. The gel and conditioner works great. If the formula can include low porosity folks this could be really good. The shampoo smelled so good! I’m rooting for the creator of this and would love to see this include diff hair texture.

I love Verb Curl Leave-In Conditioner! First off I would like to mention that I have been using this product for 3 months now, so I’ve had a descent amount of time to really get to know the product, and how it works with my naturally curly hair.

For starters-It has a wonderful scent, but it’s not too heavy or overwhelming. It is a really nice gender neutral sent that has slightly earthy undertones (I’m sensitive to overly smelly beauty products, and this one agrees with me).

It has great hold/ defines curls nicely without weighing them down. It has a nice texture/ consistency- a little on the thin side (but that is a good thing because it makes it easier to distribute throughout your hair).

It is moisturizing without feeling heavy in my hair, and gives me an awesome amount of shine when my hair is dry ( I air dry) without it looking greasy. It feels and smells fantastic in my hair, and I don’t have to use a ton of product to achieve a great look.

Love it-and I highly recommend Verb Curl Leave-In Conditioner!.

If I had never tried this brand quite some time ago in a Sephora Play box (remember those?) I would be kicking myself for sleeping on it! I fell in love with the “ghost oil” first, and from there I jumped in hard to the brand.

The volume shampoo (and the equally awesome conditioner counterpart) have turned out to be amongst my favs! I love the smell- clean and fresh without being too overwhelming. I’m a hard sell on shampoo, but this is a nice size for the $20 price point and it has a good lather, so it should last for a decent amount of time.

I also really like that VERB is both cruelty and SLS free, uses sunflower oil as a natural hair protector and vitamin B5 to add thickness to the hair. It’s rather hard to be the judge of whether or not a product produces enough volume simply Bc we all prefer differing levels of volume in our hair, but I do enjoy the way this shampoo performs in my hair, and I’ve been able to regularly produce and reproduce“voluminous hairstyles” that I’m fond of when I use this shampoo and conditioner set.

I don’t know how to tell how amazing this shampoo is. Needed a good shampoo for my curly hair and came across this brand. Got this and the leave in conditioner too. Both were on a offer. used few months before I decided to write a review about this product.

This shampoo removes all the build ups in my hair. sometimes it can make your hair dry. but I normally use a hair mask before shampoo. So doesn’t make my hair dry or frizzy after shampooing. Makes my curls so much defined and bouncy.

My old clarifying shampoo ran out and I wasn’t sure I wanted to buy it again. This was suggested to me and I can see why! This shampoo provided my hair with a gentle cleansing and did not leave my hair feeling waxy afterwards.

The scent is really mild as well. I’m pretty sure I will be buying this again once the bottle is empty.

It felt like I was washing my hair with paint. Couldn’t get it through my hair. Made my hair feel like it was extremely dry.

This is a dark coral old lady color. Nothing like the picture.

I fell in love with this shampoo/conditioner last year and was so excited to see these jumbo bottles available. Unfortunately, the quality of this product is NOT the same as the smaller bottles I was using last year.

My hair was completely dry, tangled and breaking. I thought it was just me, but I noticed that some other reviewers mentioned this too. I was so disappointed, because this was my holy grail shampoo. There was no way I could keep using this set based on how dry my hair was getting.

I returned it and then re-purchased the smaller bottles. Like magic, the new smaller bottles I purchased gave me smooth and tamed hair compared to this jumbo set. Still love this brand and will keep purchasing, but beware of the quality of this set.

Also, the pumps were faulty and my boyfriend helped me get them to work. Small burden compared to the poor quality of this set.

Ok, so I’ve had my hair box dyed and professionally highlighted on and off for the past 3 years, so to say my hair is damaged is an understatement. Before Moroccan Oil, I was using Olaplex and IGX Good Behavior spray to keep my hair frizz free and soft.

I had some MO Light and fell in love with the smell, so decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. WOW! Seriously… WOW! I’ve only used the Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner one time last night, finishing up with MO Light and let it air dry.

Then this morning, I straightened my hair and finished with MO Light again. My hair has never been softer and I was pleasantly surprised to see how I have next to no frizz!!! I’ll forever be a MO customer… The smell and the results are unmatched!.

The shampoo and conditioner are great, HOWEVER, DO NOT BUY THE JUMBO SET! Buy them separately. I bought the set with the pump containers and neither of the pumps on these worked. Also, something was definitely off about the products.

I had tried the shampoo and conditioner before and LOVED them. The argan oil formulas made my hair so soft, silk and shiny and the scent is absolutely heavenly. I have read other reviews and for some, the scent is too strong, but I love it.

it IS a bit overwhelming. I purposely choose not to wear perfume for that reason. Anyway, the the pumps were broken, I decided to open the shampoo and conditioner and try them before I decided to return them.

I thought, hey I’ve paid all this money, maybe it’s not such a big deal just to pour it out of the bottle. But I tried it ONCE. and the shampoo stripped my hair, and the conditioner did not soften my hair like the product I had used previously, and neither had the strong scent I recall.

These are not the same products I used before. I don’t know where these came from, but they are not genuine Moroccanoil products. I am not blaming Sephora, but maybe they need to check with their distributor.

I will be purchasing the Moroccanoil shampoo and conditioners separately from now on.

The product works great with curly hair.

I’m really happy with my current hair care routine, but my word, did these products change things!! First, I used them all as intended on my wavy/curly hair, and my hair felt like I was fresh out of the salon and the curls were so defined! But it doesn’t stop there! Where I was really impressed, was when I used the shampoo, mask, and gel, then blow dried my hair to try and achieve that ‘salon blow out’ look and wow!!! This product needs to advertise how incredible it is for not only reviving dull tired hair, but also giving a stunning amount of volume! I would even recommend for anyone with straight hair who struggles with volume because it did absolute wonders, even when I didn’t follow the typical curly hair routine! Wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars!! I won’t be looking back now, this will be my new routine.
