So flaky and buttery it is hard not to pass it as your own. Never liked crust as a kid, it never had flavor. This has just the right amount of homemade flavor. Like you have been baking all day. So light, crisp, and almost better then the filling.

These are my favorite pie crusts. The graham cracker crusts are okay for some types of pies, but the graham cracker flavor can overpower the rest of the pie. These are my favorites for the more subtle flavor.

I make a French silk pie ala Baker Square which would taste awful with graham cracker crust. I only wish WalMart and the rest of the grocery stores would stock these shortbread crusts. I did find some at Whole Foods.

So, I order online and freeze these crusts for my holiday cream pies.

I know most people would use this for cheesecake but I made apple crumb pie and it was amazing! The crust was nicely toasted after I baked the pie. The crust broke apart mostly from the middle of the pie as we cut in slices (the outer circle stayed pretty much intact) but that didn’t bother me.

I expected it. I was a little skeptical it would taste bad but OMG the pie came out delicious!!! It saved me some time instead of making the crust from scratch. I ordered for pickup because I don’t want to risk it getting crushed during shipping.

If you are willing to pay a bit more for the ease of preparation, these premade crusts save so much time and effort crushing graham crackers to a fine crumb, melting the butter, mixing it up all evenly, combining it all well, and then smashing it evenly into a pie dish, which I think is the hardest step of all.

These are always perfect. Just be sure it’s not cracked when you buy it and take good care of it prior to using it. They are always beautiful.

Back in the day I would have given Banquet pot pies 5+ stars. I just had one of their pot pies recently and was immensely disappointed. The crust is as thin as paper! They need to take the advertisement off on the front of the box that says “flaky homeade crust”.

The crust is not good. Sorry, but Marie Callender’s wins a 1,000 times over Banquet. Banquet, what happened??? Did someone fail to inspect the final result? Did management switch hands and the new people have no idea what a pot pie is? Thus was a major major let down.

I wish I would have put the money I spent on Banquet pies on the AMAZING Marie Callender’s! Banquet Company go get some Marie Callender’s pot pies and go get Banquet. I will be shocked if you think Banquet’s is better.

I bought 2 pot pies yesterday from Safeway. The crust did not brown and rather sunk into the crustand. looked sort of greasey. It was rather dry and not much filling. You had a very dark meat that tasted like cut up gizzard and soet od the same texture.

There was seven cubes of meT and plenty of veggies but little gray. Prices have doubled and quality has suddenly dropped. My family has always loved your pot pies above the others until today. If we have to pay more then we expect quality.

Next after reading your reviews you have never once offered a replacement coupon of any type. Shame on you. Most companies do this. I have never had a pie do this unless I left in the freezer to long and then the crust is usually funky.

I use these noodles for my homemade chicken noodle soup. I do split each whole noodle into three sections (or just crush them by the small handful) so they fit perfectly on a soup spoon. First time I used them, I used the noodles as packaged and they were way too long.

We really enjoyed these delicious noodles. It makes a great side dish. The flavor texture and end result is much much better than what I have been purchasing in the supermarket. This has become a pantry staple in our home.

I made a homemade strawberry cream pie with these delicious graham cracker crusts. Homegrown strawberries used with these crusts to make the perfect strawberry cream pie. Let’s just say the pies didn’t last long.

Too bad there is no zero star rating, because this product does not deserve even one star. I ordered two packs. In these packs, many crusts missed protective covers. Three crumbled to pieces from simple touch.

The rest turned into goo once filled with simple vegetarian coconut milk icing. I have learned my lesson and next time will bake the crusts myself, instead of buying bogus Keebler ones. I have put Keebler on my black list of brands to never buy from.

I do not recommend this frustrating product to anyone.

Buy these. And fill them with chocolate pudding and whipped cream! You will not be disappointed. My favorite late night snack. You can also fill them with fruit for a refreshing dessert. Overall a great purchase.

This is a delicious pie crust! My husband and I love the flavor. It makes up into a top and bottom crust and doesn’t fall short on the size when rolled out. The only thing I do different with it is use all butter (2 sticks) instead of butter and shortening as suggested on the back.

I liked the piecrust. The instructions however, made it hard to make since refrigeration is required. It made the dough too stiff and hard. I had to really work it and it was tiring. Next time I make it, I will try it without the refrigeration to see how it works out.

I followed the instructions to the letter and made an apple filling with frangipane. The crust stayed in a crumble and never cooked, it is like raw sand, and I ended up baking the pie for almost an hour waiting for it to brown or anything.

These noodles are delicious. They have substance unlike the other package noodles. They are thick and do not fall apart. In short, they are GREAT!!

I understand that manufacturers strive to produce their products while finding ways to reduce cost. But you can’t tell the customer you are going to give them one thing at a certain cost and then give them something totally different.

It’s not ethical, and as of late that’s what they’ve been doing. Not only have I had trouble finding the large Beef Pot Pie, but when I do get to have one it’s been a total disappointment. By the way, if you haven’t noticed, the cost of this item has dramatically increased and the quality has noticeably decreased.

If you look at the picture of this item, it shows the contents are Beef, Potatoes, Carrots, and Celery in a sauce. However I have consistently had pies with only Beef and Potatoes and very little sauce.

Which makes for a bland and dry dining experience. I’m hoping this is temporary, but based on their other frozen meals and the changes they’ve gone through, disappointment is here to stay. Based on this, I’m sad to say the time has finally come to end my patronage of Marie Callender’s.

Add this product to the list of frozen dinners I’ll no longer purchase; Cheesy Chicken and Rice, Fettuccini with Chicken & Broccoli, Lasagna, and the Chicken Alredo Bake. I will miss them all.

I frequently eat Marie Callender beef, chicken, and turkey pot pies and have always found them to be of excellent quality. Today, however, I ate a beef pot pie and I was extremely disappointed. I eat these often, so I was expecting the usually tender beef and creamy, dark beef gravy.

What I ended up with was some sort of textured, rubbery beef, one carrot penny, and beige-colored gravy. All I can imagine is that the recipe has changed. I eat these often. so I know what to expect.

I always cook the pies in the oven, and today was no exception. It just appears to me that Marie Callender has, for unknown reasons, decided to put out an inferior product with inferior ingredients. I have another beef pot pie, as well as a turkey pot pie in my freezer, and I am reluctant to eat them because I don’t know what might be the new turkey meat, and I refuse to eat a rubbery beef by-product.

If this new version of the beef pot pie is an attempt to save on production costs, I hope it was worth it because Marie Callender’s pot pies just lost a faithful customer in me. I will neither pay for nor eat this crap again.

This review: Marie Callender’s Beef Pot Pie 10 oz. (small) purchased in Northern California. The beef pies are my long-time favorite. The crust browned on top and was fairly flaky; not bad for a microwave pie.

For many decades I have cooked these in a gas oven with better results. The gravy was the right thickness and nicely spiced as always. There was plenty of beef: five good-sized cubes and two partial pieces.

The beef used to be something like top or bottom round, now it is sectioned and formed meat with a spongy texture. Not nearly as nice. Vegetable tally: two small pieces white onion, two good-sized cubes of potato and a few smaller pieces, carrot: two decent slices and a few fragments.

Celery slices were shown on the package photo but none at all were found in the pie. Overall, still not a bad pot pie and two on sale for $4. 99 is not unreasonable for the small size. But, too much gravy and not enough filling: certainly not as much filling as shown of the package photo.

Okay, last year during the pandemic when the freezer sections in the store were literally empty and I couldn’t find one frozen pie crust, I opted for jiffy pie crust. And I’ll say this, my sweet potato pies that I only make once a year, because they are so rich and time consuming, were better off with this pie crust than the frozen one.

This pie crust has definitely changed and not for the better. I have used this pie crust for years, and after my experience this time it may be the last. I made pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and the dough seemed to have several issues.

1) it was sticking to itself when I was trying to unroll it, 2) it didn’t fit my 9” pie pans very well, 3) I couldn’t get the pie pieces out of the pan, because the crust was sticking to the edges of my pie pan (same pie pans my Mom used for years then passed on to me several years back).

Not only was it embarrassing for me at my dinner but even more of an embarrassment when I gave one of the pies to a family friend and find out they had the same trouble and 4) It had a very odd flavor.

Nothing worse than a mutilated piece of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. I also made pumpkin pecan tassies that I have made for years using this same crust. These were even baked in a nonstick pan and the tassies were still stuck in the muffin cavities.

Pillsbury needs to figure out what the problem is, or if they changed the recipe they need to go back to the original.

These Pillsbury pie crusts have been my go-to for years! I believe they are the next best thing to scratch made. However, I bought a box for my holiday pies and opened the box to find one of the crusts with no wrapping whatsoever and the other crust had a wrapper that was split open all the way from top to bottom.

Basically both crusts were discolored and dried out due to no wrapping. I then had to make a special trip to the grocery store to replace them. Very frustrating. The store made things right and allowed me to get a replacement at no charge.

I have relied on Pillsbury pie crusts for years. But been disappointed recently. Today I unrolled the bottom crust neatly. When I proceeded with umrolling the top crust, it kept sticking to itself and tearing.

It seemed dry and tore easily. Both crusts were packaged in the same box. No one likes to stop in the middle of a pie, and run to the store to get another pie crust. This happens more frequently than it should.

Also, recommend 2 sizes, For 8 inch or 9 inch pies. One size doesn’t fit all, and falls short for 9 inch pie pans. Flavor and bake ability is fine.

I have eaten at least one or more beef pot pies a week for the last few years and grew to love the taste and quality of them. Until a few months ago, when I tasted a strange tasting and strange looking pressed meat product in a pot pie I purchased.

I immediately thought I had purchased one of your plant based meat pot pies, but to my surprise, it was not. I contacted you through social media and told them about it, asking if you’d changed the recipe, but this question was not answered.

They only apologized and sent me coupon for a free pie. Hoping this was an error of some kind, I purchased another pie with the coupon and found that, to my disappointment, the meat in the pie had been changed to a mostly flavorless perfectly square lump of processed mush “beef” product.

I used to eat these sometimes when I was younger and they were amazing! Good beef, gravy, and full of veggies. I bought one today for lunch expecting the same quality product. I was sadly mistaken. The meat were cut into unrealistic squares and tasted terrible, the gravy and crust were just okay, but to make matters worse the absolute ONLY vegetable, yes I purposely made vegetable singular, was a sliver of carrot.

Not carrots, ONE sliver of carrot. No celery, no potato…nothing. I basically got a “meat alternative” pie with no veggies. I will never buy a meal from Marie Callender’s again. Banquet brand is better.

Due to some health issues, I’ve decided to stock my freezer with pre-made meals. This is one of the many that I have tried, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. It is a pretty small portion, not going to lie.

Especially for those of us who are trying to lose weight, obviously we like a lot of food and this will seem disappointing at first. But it is a lot of protein and it’s very filling. It doesn’t claim to be a “healthy choice” so if you’re watching your sodium and stuff, this might not be your number one pick.

But this is tasty enough that I decided to hop on and give it a good review. As I do with most of my frozen meals, I threw in a handful of (seasoned, cooked, frozen) broccoli. That adds some bulk and fiber, but not a lot of calories.

Anyway, I’m stuffed and satisfied. I will be buying more of these, and I do recommend it to anyone else.

Atkins is my favorite brand of healthy low carb frozen meal options! The crustless chicken pot pie is delicious, and a great way to eat yummy food while also watching those carbs!.

If you are counting carbs and starving this will do in a pinch. But I would not eat this otherwise. It is probably the least horrible of Atkins frozen meals, but still kind of watery and bland. Makes you realize that the crust is really the best part of a pot pie.

These things are great! These things are quick and easy to fix. My opinion they are a little on the small side so I always make 2 at a time for myself. I don’t like waiting on them to bake in the oven so I always cook them in the microwave.

but then you have the soft soggy top. right?? While they cook in the microwave I have the oven on broil. I move them from the microwave to the top rack of the oven for just a minute and watch the tops turn golden, crispy and brown.

I’ve loved Banquet Pot Pies since I was a kid in 1950’s !! They were fantastic then and still are today!! The seasoning is perfect and yummy! The Beef Pie and the Salisbury Steak Pie are my favorites, but the other flavors are great tasting also !! You can cook them in the microwave also , but I prefer cooking them in the oven.

Bought two of these to use for pumpkin pie crust. The sweetness pairs just right with the pumpkin. The only flaw is watch the package. One of mine was cracked all down the center and I could see that through the label packaging.

It was the only one left on the shelf right before thanksgiving and surprisingly enough, it was very good. It might of could used a bit more moisture to keep it from crumbling so badly, but overall a good product.

These are the best chicken pot pies available!!! The chicken is plentiful along with delicious vegetables and sauce. The serving size is big enough for a very hungry person.

I sent the chicken pot pies to a sick relative, they loved them and were very grateful for the comfort meals. I would send them again. They were not as impressed with the Christmas cookies.

I keep this on hand for “picky” times or for when I’m waiting on a bug delivery. My bestie took right to it at just a few months old. It’s great for times I have a pet sitter as well. I can make up a batch and store cubes in the fridge if the pet sitter is too squeamish about bugs.

I really do like however I feel as if it lacks gravy and the bottom should get crisper then it does. When I had mine, the top was nice and golden crispy but the bottom was soft and doughy. I’m not sure if I could’ve don’t something different.

But I did follow all directions. I still will continue to purchase them as they are good. They are filling. They are a big hit in my house. Super quick and easy dinner! Decent price and the size is good.

A staple in my freezer! More so for nostalgic reason. As far as frozen chicken pot pies, this is my favorite ! There are better tasting pot pies from restaurants, sure. But because my grandma loved eating the individual sized chicken pot pies with me ever since I was little, I have good memories eating these.

So I eat this every once in a while. I only eat the original chicken pot pie. I’ve tried a few different flavors/varieties over the year with my grandma, but thought the original was always the best.

I love this so much! When looking up this Marie Callender , there seems to be a few different kind of chicken pot pies. I want to try the honey chicken one next! This frozen chicken pot pie is great for lunch and dinner when you’re in a hurry or don’t have anything to eat! I’m a super picky eater, so I usually eat something different than the rest of the family, and I sometimes eat frozen meals, and I’ll eat this sometimes.
