20 Best Crossfit Shoe For Wide Feet (2023 Updated)

I received the shoes without the inside Comfort Insert that is part of and belongs inside of the shoes. I called customer service and asked if I could be sent the missing Comfort Inserts to the shoes, and I was told that the only thing I can do is to go online and proceed to return the shoes.

I said that I was hoping that we would be able to remedy the situation by them merely sending me the Comfort Inserts. I was put on hold, and when the rep came back she told me that her supervisor said I could go online and purchase the inserts.

I asked why would I do that when it is part of shoe? (The inserts they have online, are NOT the Comfort Inserts that are a part of this shoe. ) I asked if the supervisor understood the problem. The rep said yes.

I said this is wrong and asked to speak to the supervisor. I was put on hold for several minutes, the line was silent. I hung up when they started streaming loud music through the telephone because I did not feel like I was going to get anywhere.

I sent an email through their website; however because they do not have a direct email for subjects such as this and I had to choose a different subject, I am not confident they will respond. You can see from the picture on the website what the inside of the shoe should look like – my shoe has a ragged-edge piece of thin white fabric inside the shoe, not the pink Comfort Insert that is part of the shoe.

I use these 608’s as everyday wear. I like the leather exterior finish of these shoes. They hold up to rough work environments, all the others have a nylon mesh exterior which snags and rips. I keep one pair for going out, so they stay looking good.

My other pair I use and abuse, like I said, leather exterior so they hold up. They do have slits or vents half way down each side of the front, so they breathe. I don’t run or jog anymore so can’t comment on that.

Bought directly from New Balance Online because they had my size in stock. It was a smooth transaction. I have wide feet, mens 9 1/2 4E. Been wearing New Balance for decades because they are one of the great tennis shoe makers that offer comfortable wide shoes.

Keep making the the leather exterior shoes like the 608’s New Balance, because they look great and are durable. Thanks.

I’ve worn this style NB shoe for about five years. Usually a new pair every 9-12 months. It’s getting very hard to find shoes that are leather. not mesh. I use them for both work and “Saturday” wear and find them comfortable.

Because they are leather they keep my feet clean, warm and dry. Mesh shoes just don’t work for my every day wearing. My previous style number was difficult to find this time around so I chose this model.

Basically they are equivalent to my preferred model EXCEPT for the soles. These are promoted as “work” shoes and they have a more “indoor” sole pattern. very smooth slip resistant style- not the more rugged walking or sports type of sole.

I will be keeping them mostly because leather sneakers are getting pretty hard to find.

I first bought the 608 v3 size 9. 5 4E brown. They were so good right away I bought 2 pairs. When they wore out, my wife ordered me a pair of v4 brown online, same size. They had a wider sole (bigger footprint), but they still fit great.

The green trim was the only downside. With v4 worn out, I ordered v5 online, again brown size 9. 5 4E. I’ve had them for a few weeks. I wear them almost every day. The fit seems to have changed a little and they don’t feel as comfortable.

To me it feels like more vertical space across the widest part of the foot. Maybe I’m just used to my old ones. Again, my only real complaint is the white trim. What happened to all brown? I don’t really want to have shoes that call out to everyone “Look at me, Look at me!” I want comfort, support, and something that can match with the color scheme I buy them for.

White trim is better than green, but why not a completely solid color shoe?.

I have been wearing Superrep for several years now and always keep several pairs in rotation. These sneakers are exactly what I need – comfort- cushioning and creative colors!! I box, do HIIT classes and run.

The cushioning component is critical to me and these sneakers deliver! I tried on many other sneakers that are specifically for just running but retuned all of them because nothing compares to this sneaker.

I have tried in the new model but I have to say prefer this generation. These went right into my “inventory “of Superreps in my closet. The fit of this color is exact- I’m a 9 and these are perfect (the black ones run smaller).

I’ve been wearing Nike air max since their inception ( I do miss the airmax 720) so I know what works best for me- these are a 10 star sneaker!.

These cleats not only look amazing, but due to how thin and flexible the clear material is, it’s soo easy to have a great touch on the ball. Would recommend wearing thin socks with these. Parts of the shoe are almost like a solid gauze with a very fine mesh pattern which provides excellent breathability.

I have a wider fore-foot, and many soccer cleats feel too narrow. These however, although not wide, were definitely flexible that area and comfortable. I was hesitant about the partial “sock” feature around the ankle.

They make it slightly difficult to get on, but if you have thin socks this feature really does provide a nice comfort and feeling that the shoe is customized for your foot. I don’t think this would be comfortable with the old big thick socks that many youth programs provide, but are amazing with thin (normal) branded soccer socks.

The cleats on the bottom are spaced well and although I have only tested on hard winter ground, would probably do just fine in soft turf or grass. Overall I would definitely recommend, especially if you like vibrant stand out colors on your shoes.

Also- the cleats came with a nice sinch- backpack style cleats bag which was an extra bonus! I will probably not use for the cleats because it’s so nice looking- and will use for the pool/practices/day trips.

The description of this shoe is spot on! This is great for HIIT, strength training, & even the elliptical machine. Also, I am able to keep a solid balance when I deadlift! I would not recommend this for the treadmill at all.

I knew to go up a 1/2 size because I have a pair of Zoom Gravity. I feel the Zoom collection is designed to “cradle or mold” to your feet to give you the best workout because the Gravity is great for the treadmill.

The lemon color looks good with almost anything & the shoe does not look big at all. Please pass on this shoe if you’re not into HIIT or strength training. This shoe is not made for running and being at Disney World all day.

It is meant to do what it’s made for HIIT class.

These are the narrowest Wide shoes I have ever had the displeasure of squeezing my foot into. I do not have a standard wide foot, but I often like to wear wides especially in sneakers because of the usually tapered (as opposed to rounded or natural shape toe-box) toe.

These babies are tiiiight – and not in a good way. In addition to the side-to-side squish, there is the top to bottom squish. Now mayyybe this is due to the extra memory foam they’ve got in there, but designers should have compensated for this.

Also, some might say this lower profile toe helps with stability in a trainer, BUT this shoe is marketed by Rebok as being for training AND entertainment. That suggests I should be able to sit and walk in these shoes without my toes failing asleep…and I can’t.

My three biggest toes were numb within a few minutes of putting them on and my pinky toe was feeling the pinch immediately. The overall low clearance carried throughout the shoe and resulted in me needing to loosen the laces to the point that the whole width of the tongue was visible.

I wear a 9. 5 or 10 depending on shoe shape, width, etc. I bought these in both. The 9. 5 I didn’t even bother trying to force my foot into. The 10 is what I’m referring to for my actual foot-in-shoe experience.

The length is fine so even if they DID offer a larger size than 10 it wouldn’t work out. AND who has ever heard of having to size up in a wide shoe (unless you have an extra wide foot)?!?!.

Great kicks! I bought mainly for gym/crossfit type stuff and to wear around for errands. The sock liner thing is super soft and smooth. I bought mine to fit snug, so while I typically wear a 13 and prefer wider fitting models of other shoes, I preferred the 12.

5 over the 13 in this model. Many other shoe companies will say wide fitting or a wide fit, but these were really noticeable. Nothing crazy, but a proper wide fitting shoe. The grey color looks fresh too.

Cannot speak to longevity though – just bought em. But at this price, it wouldn’t kill me if they didn’t last 30 years.

So long trying to find good workout shoes for my wide feet. It’s so sad and so annoying that companies don’t realize how many WOMEN NEED WIDE SHOES. Seriously, we can be fit and whatever, or don;’t be so fit, who cares.

But being a women doesn’t mean to have narrow princess feet. Not only reebok but all brands should have more variety for wide shoes. Ok, getting to the point. These shoes are actually very comfortable on day one.

Very soft, very like the shoes I should always have for working out. I go to Orange Theory (indoor workout) and they have been a pretty good decision for me. I do recommend them.

Shoes bought 8 months ago. Worn 3-4 times a week. Very good looking shoe and really comfortable. But not durable. Sole has split and inner lining is also torn. Very disappointed. My other shoes last much longer than this.

My first pair of Under Armours. And my last.

I wear out workout/walking shoes annually (regardless of the brand) by putting about 1300 miles on them. I bought this pair last year and liked them enough to replace with the same. And this time the price was like 1/2 of what I paid last year.

Yay for sales.

This is my 2nd pair, I really like these shoes for everyday wear and for coaching softball. The tread pattern is aggressive enough to grab in the dirt, but open enough to not cake up. They’re tight fitting at first, but once they loosen up, they’re very comfortable.

I just returned my second pair of 624. I have 2 pair of this model in black and white that are comfortable from several years ago. Both are starting to wear out so I decided to replace them with the same model.

I ordered a black pair about 6 months ago, 7. 5-Wide. What came in fit like a Standard. When I held them up against my older pair, they were the same size as the Standard, not the Wide that I had found more comfortable.

I thought perhaps they were mislabeled and sent them back. I tried again last month, this time ordering 1 set in white and 1 in black – both were supposed to be 7. 5 Wide. The white pair fit, if a bit snug.

The black pair did not. Once again, they were more like Standard than Wide. The black pair went back. Now comes the fun of watching to see if the X-Wide ever comes back in stock or if I have to go with a different brand.

I thought this 623V3 would be the same as the previous model. Its not. I’ve tried three different pairs. In all cases, they lasted less than 6 weeks and all I did was daily walks (about a mile on level road ) and daily chores around the house, no running, no jumping, no Gym workouts, no latter climbing, no mountain climbing,.

The problem, the heel collapses and for me, it happened mostly on the right side. When the heel collapses, you’ll eventually experience pain in the heel area. I spent a lot of money on these shoes only to find that their worthless for my use.

All went to the garbage. never again. I switched to another brand. It appears a lot of manufactures are cutting corners on quality. Beware.

I wear it to officiate basketball. I like it (608), I need the wider size NB makes. I want the 857, I really like that shoe but it is evidently unavailable. Have a pair I bought from Schuler in St Paul 2 years ago that are my back up pair.

I Buy 2 pair of basketball officiating shoes per year. BTW, I hate the new model Reebok Zig. I loved the original innovative sole, my feet felt great. I bought at least 10 pair over the years, court and turf.

All the benefits of the old innovative sole have disappeared. Looks great, kills my feet. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I will not buy another pair. Let me know when/if (ever) you have NB857 in stock.

I needed a shoe for a general gym workouts, especially a 1 hr weight lifting class. Since I have a painful neruroma in my right forefoot finding a comfortable shoe is important. I generally get a great fit from New Balance 2E shoes no matter which model and this shoe is keeping the trend going.

I have been a fan of New Balance since about 1980 so have gone through many of their models, primarily for running. The TRNR seems to be a relatively new offering for general gym workouts and it is supportive and well padded and fully satisfies my need for forefoot padding and a perfect width.

The shoe has extra holes for allowing snugging up the heel with the lacings. The soles are very grippy and the shoes are attractive as well. Will definitely be back for another pair when these wear out.

After trying on multiple shoes these are the perfect fit for being on my feet all day. I have wide feet and no arches. This shoe in the wide option is great without looking like a huge geriatric sneaker.

Cool look and maximum comfort.

Just purchased and tried for the first time on my treadmill and super comfy, they were perfect workout shoes. Only complaint is the description say black, picture looks like black & gray but the shoe is black & white and if like me I’m not a fan of white soles on any shoe.

Made them my indoor workout go to.

These are very good Ryka’s that have been ruined by rough seams on the back of the heel. They have ripped up my feet and given me blisters, but since I wore them outside, I cannot return them. Even with thicker socks, they rub.

I am going to try putting packing tape over the area to see if I can use them going forward. What I mean by “very good” is that they are cushioned, stable and have a low heel rise (says 8mm, but is more like 0mm when standing still).

I was using Hoka’s most recently which feel wonderful but pitch you forward when walking due to the 5mm heel rise which causes slumping and messes up my gait. Had Ryka not made the design decision to put a seam inside the back of the heel, they would be perfect.

These were great at first: supportive, low heel rise (not 8mm, more like 0mm) and sufficient cushion. But, then I took a few walks. These shoes ripped up my heels and gave me blisters no matter what socks I wore with them.

They have an uncomfortable seam midway down the back of the heel and rough material on the top. I am so disappointed because I can’t return them since I wore them outside. They wold have been perfect for me without that design flaw.

I really love this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and have tried so many different shoes. This shoe has a great arch support and cushion without being super bulky looking. I wear these everyday to work and my feet feel supported.

Even after long days, my feet aren’t sore which is a huge step forward for me. ( pun intended).

I bought two pairs of these trainers and have worn both pairs over the past couple of weeks. One pair rubbed my little toes initially, while the other pair were comfortable straight off. However, one of that latter pair has now developed an annoying and embarrassing squeak.

So good shoes, generally comfortable, but will be better if I can get rid of the squeaking.

I come from a competitor brand that have always been comfortable to me but wanted to give Nikes a shot again. These are even more comfortable than my Nike zoom shoes. Cushion and support is great. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and this will really help with days where I need to be on my feet for longer periods of time.

I can’t talk about wear and tear, but comfort is outstanding and they look sharp too.

Bought my first pair of these trainers and within a day or 2 the rim around the edges went all white and squeak of them was just awful!!! Brought them back to the shop and with a fight, I got them exchanged for another pair the same and within the week of wearing them the squeak started again!!! Totally disappointed!!!! Was always a Nike fan but this has put off from buying Nike trainers again!.
