20 Best Cream Foundation For Dry Skin (2023 Updated)

I’m a sunless tanner and it’s been a true struggle to find a #legitfullcoverage foundation to ensure my face and hands match my body (due to hand washing and exfoliation) and doesn’t end up looking splotchy as the day goes by – until now! I found #Dermablend to be the #realdeal – It is highly pigmented as it was originally formulated for folks with vitiligo in mind.

This cream has true ability to provide absolute and undeniable full coverage, is a fantastic bang for buck spent, comes in variety of shade options, seamlessly blends last but not least, has legit longevity.

All of the boxes were checked for me. Dermablend products are my new ride or die! COLLAGE: pics show Dermablend Cover Creme in shade 60N (cafe brown). Comes with a little scraper tool. Hand pics show the blend of coverage from full to sheer as needed.

PIGMENTATION: A little goes a long way, even if using for full coverage. I used half the amount shown on the scraper and spread it for coverage on the entire front of my hand. BLENDING: Blending is a dream, likely due this being a cream.

As shown in pics, the shade is significantly darker than my hand but I was able to blend it in to my hand and it covered all uneven tones in my tan skin seamlessly by just spreading it in circular motions using my fingers.

LONGEVITY: This alone will stay on my normal skin from morning until night when I remove my makeup. It not only stays in place but looks exactly as good in the pm as it does in the am. INGREDIENTS: The label mentions it is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium lauryl sulfate (sls).

I am still gaining a proper understanding of ingredient listings so I included a picture of the ingredient list in case it would help in the interim. I will include my thoughts from the ingredient list on this and other reviews once I am more knowledgeable can properly provide educated feedback in that regard.

OVERALL: I loved this so much that I also purchased several other Dermablend products including primer, liquid foundation, loose powder, and setting spray. I anticipate using this cream as my regular foundation when I’m on top of my sunless tanning, as a contour when I’m not as dark toned (being lazy with self-tan regime), to even out patchy skin on neck, arms, hands.

There has apparently been repackaging since the last time I purchased this product, as the container is now clear instead of white. I think the formula may also be slightly different because I found the application MUCH easier than with my first jar.

(not as “solid”, softened much easier) I purchased this because I needed something a teeny bit darker than what I had. I like Dermablend for a number of reasons: it was originally formulated for scar coverage, so the coverage you get is going to be better than just about any other foundation; despite this, it doesn’t look caked on if applied correctly; and there are LOTS of shades to choose from.

Because it covers scars very well, it also works just as well for uneven skin colors, blemishes, freckles, and just about any other “imperfection” you may have, again without looking cakey. The foundation is also waterproof so it stays put, and it blends in very nicely so that you can feather the coverage out (no lines at the chin and jaw).

I probably would not recommend this for someone with oily skin, because of the fact that it is waterproof (which means it’s probably not water based) but I would check with the manufacturer to be sure.

It works perfectly for my “mature” skin which is very dry.

I started using this product line and Dermablend’s Professional setting powder is the bomb for keeping your foundation on and an oily shine off of your face. No matter how hot and sweaty I get, my make up does not smear or streak.

My face does not look dry or caked. I had problems with developing acne whenever I wore foundations but started this line because I’ve read it is better for your skin. Now, I totally believe it! I have basically had very few breakouts while using this line of products.

I am planning to try more of their products and will definitely be buying their professional setting powder again.

This is hands down the best foundation liquid I’ve ever used during the 20 years I’ve been wearing foundation. I have dry, very fair skin (I’m a pale redhead with light coloured eyes). I use the “Fair” shade of this cream.

Coverage is long lasting and very natural looking. One light layer gives an almost imperceptible ‘Your Skin but Better’ filter, and for evenings or events I layer it up to give better coverage. If you don’t use a setting powder then the cream will rub off easily onto your hand (e.

g. when touching your face to remove a hair in your eye), so you should set your make up after applying this. You don’t need a heavy matte powder to set it, just a light dusting of a fine translucent powder will work perfectly.

The foundation gives a dewy finish. I don’t notice the “glitter” that other reviewers complained about – there’s a very subtle shimmer, for sure, but not glitter. You can’t see actual pieces of glitter on your skin.

Someone on here complained that it made her wrinkles show up even more than without the cream: she must not be applying it correctly. You have to pat/blend/sponge/massage it on to your skin for it to be done well.

This is the same rule for all foundation creams. Blending and gentle but thorough application is just part of any makeup routine. Another amazing thing about this cream apart from the longevity, the flexibility of coverage, the natural effect, and the light dewy finish, is the SPF: Factor 50.

It works. Believe me – I’ve got red hair and very pale skin – I burn easily. This alone has protected my face on a sunny day. (I recently started using Paula’s Choice primer serum SPF 30 underneath, which I highly recommend for the combined effects of firmness and reduction of fine lines.

I love using this to run errands and day wear not long lasting or for photos. I feel like this looks better in person than I’m photos definitely. I am a pretty pale baby for a Latina. I normally wear light foundation but this matched me to neutral medium and that was wayyy to dark for me.

I then got a new one after a year and purchased the light but that is still way to dark on me and I wear a 2n1 In Estée Lauder double wear and 185 in fenty soft matte. I hate looking orange but I love the way this makes my skin feel and it doesn’t irritate or cause acne for me just wish the shade range was better.

I think I’m going to try adding an adjust pigment to it to see if I can make it work and try the shade fair next which is crazy that it’s the lightest shade. I am neutral skin toned too so things go super pink Or super orange on me if they don’t match.

For skin prep I wear glow recipe watermelon moisturizer underneath and then go in with it cosmetics primer for pores and Hydration. I think you can prob get away without primer but I’m extra like that and feel that it helps my foundation look and last longer.

I also use Charlotte tilbury powder when I Want to stay dewy or I use hourglass powder. Laura Mercier gets too heavy and also Causes acne for me. I then spray with Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and it holds well but be ready to be dewy with this cc cream.

I wouldn’t recommend this for oily skin.

Being that I’ve use this product almost every day for the past few years it’s probably time I write a review. It used to be hard for me to find a foundation that I really liked, my skin is more on the dry side so I’ve always wanted a foundation that will give me a little glow while also giving good coverage and lasting power.

I had never found a foundation that I would buy after using the bottle up until a girl came into my work and her skin looks so flawless I had to ask her what she was wearing. When she recommended this foundation along with the it cosmetics powder I went to Sephora right after work and bought some.

I have fair skin with a neutral/warm undertone and always had trouble finding a shade that wouldn’t make me look either yellow or too pale. The lightest shade in this range has always done the trick and gives a healthy color to my skin and pretty glow while looking very natural.

I’m so glad I took that girl on her recommendation, I’ve use this foundation ever since then I always buy a new bottle once I’m out. I’ve recommended this foundation to my sisters and a few friends and they all love it too.

I get compliments all the time about how I have naturally beautiful and even skin, which isn’t true at all but this foundation really makes it look like I do. I also have very breakout prone skin and this has never given me a problem.

I can’t see ever switching foundations after using this one, I love it so much.

I recently got to try CLE Beauty’s CCC Cream. I received four sample packets of each color in the in the line. Although this product was so amazing and really surprised me I still have to give it four stars because of the color range.

I would have to mix my color in order to get my shade which I don’t really like to do a lot of mixing because it involves buying more products. Still besides that it is pretty adjustable to your skin tone so I still love it it’s just a little bit more golden for me towards one side or a little too light and ashy for me on the other.

The warm medium Shade looked closer but was the one that was more golden and the warm medium light was the lighter looking one. Like I said I think it’s still a great product because the color range has 10 Shades from light to deep dark skin and provides a few undertones while still being able to customize it to your skin tone with color changing technology.

And again you can mix these if you really want to. The reason this product is so amazing besides its color changing technology is because it is a hybrid cream. This is an all-in-one primer, CC, BB, SPF 50, non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan and clean Foundation cream that works as skin care and foundation although its not really not foundation.

It also provides here to full coverage depending on how much you want to build on it while still being lightweight. It covered a lot of my dark spots and redness from acne as well as the actual acting itself without caking up or drying out.

Usually something with an SPF this High tends to break me out but for once it did not happen so I can say this is a great product for acne prone skin. Just remember everyone’s skin is not the same and although I may not experience a reaction from it I have seen other reviews saying they have reacted in a negative way from this product.

It’s super affordable at $31 and there’s so many really cool and beneficial ingredients in this like blueberry extract, coconut oil, hyaluronic acid, Bergamot, orange oils and more. My skin looks more radiant Than Ever After applying while still looking natural.

This foundation/ccc cream is great as a tinted sunscreen!! It’s ggeeat if you want the “no makeup makeup” look – it makes you look like you just have really good skin haha. By that I mean it doesn’t look like you’re wearing foundation because it’s so lightweight and not cakey.

The warm medium light fits my skin tone really well. I wore two layers for extra coverage because I have acne right now – one layer didn’t really cover my red pimples. I also added some concealer to my pimple as well.

Stays on pretty well. Has a more dewy/glowy finish, so it can get slightly oily throughout the day if you don’t add setting powder. Really easy to apply with your fingers!.

This Cle CCC cream is the mist interesting make up product I have ever had. When I squeeze out the cream, it’s white in color, but when I use my fingers to blend in on my face, I see the cream color changes from white to a foundation color, it’s like a magic.

Then it melts into my skin. I am a fair skin person with warm undertone, the CCC cream I used is Light Warm, which is a great match to my skin. After blending, it’s like my skin but better. The texture of the cream is light weight, it’s very easy to blend even with just fingers.

This CCC cream is Color Control Change Cream. It is an all-in-one primer and foundation that contains SPF 50 PA+++. I feel that this cream have better coverage than those BB, CC cream I used before. It can cover my pores and even my skin tone perfectly.

I just apply one layer. I feel so comfortable and lightweight. This cream has a special technology- Micro Capsule Technology, it can smoothly transition the cream’s initial color to blend in with your skin tone.

And it won’t dry out your skin, my skin looks glowing and natural. I like this natural finish but with good enough coverage!.

I’ll I can say is WOW! I finally found the perfect foundation for me! It’s been many many years struggling with acne (adult acne) and sensitive combo skin. Almost everything makes me break out, is too pigmented or drying on the flaky parts of my face, or is too hydrating and just slips off in others.

This month alone I’ve been buying, trying, and returning countless foundations, BB creams, CC creams, and tinted moisturizers. This one takes the cake! I check every product before I use it (reviews and by each ingredient) to see if it’s safe for me and this one passed the test.

It goes on flawlessly, can easily be built up for fuller coverage (plus the concealer, which is also amazing) or lightly patted in with a wet sponge for light medium coverage. I hate make up that looks like it’s make up.

This stuff is like a second skin and has just the right amount of sheen to it. It also doesn’t settle into my fine lines over the day. Just make sure to lightly set with a powder or setting spray. And oh, the color match!!! I have never been able to find a shade that works for my fair skin.

I finally did with the color Breeze. I freaking love this stuff. My only complaint is that I wish it had more SPF and that their was either more in the bottle or cost less.

I found it really hard to figure out what shade to buy since they all look so similar in my shade range, but I don’t think I made a bad guess. Out of the foundations I’ve bought lately, this is the best match.

Usually I have the problem that the foundation is too dark and/or orange for me, and this one doesn’t cause those issues for me. It also doesn’t irritate my skin. I love and use many Clinique products for that reason.

I have dry skin, so I wish this was a touch more moisturizing, but it’s definitely not bad at all and I will likely repurchase. I typically use a serum (Sunday Riley vitamin C), Clinique’s yellow cream, then Clinique City Block underneath this.

The coverage goes a long way and it’s quite buildable. I don’t have a lot to cover, so this makeup is good for my needs. It doesn’t feel super heavy at all, but it also has a bit of substance to it so a little goes a long way.

I’ll sometimes accidentally squeeze out a little too much and it then takes me a while to blend/rub it all in (especially around my hairline), but the finish is really nice. sort of a soft matte and nice and natural.

The extra SPF in here is a bonus that makes me happy!.

Even Better Makeup is my favorite, Holy Grail foundation! I am shade Fair, and it is a perfect match for my light, cool-neutral skin tone. I am 40, and starting to gravitate to more anti-aging products, and this foundation is one that any age can wear, in my opinion! This will be my one and only from now on.

It gives me such a youthful, smooth look that isn’t overly “made up”. I am combo/oily-skinned, and this doesn’t dry me out or make me look too shiny; it’s perfect- just nice, smooth skin! I tried the Even Better Clinical foundation and returned it, and went back to this original formula- in my opinion, the more matte look that one offers isn’t flattering on aging skin.

I instantly noticed that I look more youthful with the medium, natural coverage that this original Even Better foundation offers. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone! Thank you, Clinique! Please always keep this foundation around, it looks like a lot of people love it!.

*I reviewed this on another option but wanted to put it here too* WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS FOUNDATION?!? This easily earned its way into my top 5 favorite foundations. I’m blown away. My skin looks like skin, but the medium to full coverage is there.

The finish is radiant- like, dewy and glowy. I love the almost wet look and that’s exactly what this is before any powders. No sparkles and so far, no caking or separating. It just looks amazing on my skin.

Feels like I’m wearing nothing! I don’t even feel or look dry and tight like I normally do after setting with powder, this foundation is definitely hydrating. If you have dry skin, I’m telling you. this is so worth a shot.

10 stars! It’s worth more than 5! It’s a lightweight foundation that is surprisingly full coverage. Medium at first but buildable. I only need one full layer and then a little drop more on problem areas.

It’s matte, with no powdery type finish. It doesn’t transfer onto my mask either! There’s also no fragrance, which is so important to me because I feel like anything with fragrance can break me out. Overall this is now in my top 5 foundations.

It gives such a beautiful and radiant and natural look!.

This is my favorite foundation hands down and I have so many. Not sure why but even though the one so bought here says it is the same shade as the one I currently use. The one I bought here was a little darker in shade then mine.

But otherwise beautiful foundation. Lasts all day. Looks flawless in the skin. I think its the skin care properties in it. But my face always looks so healthy and airbrushed when is wear this.

I had 010 cool cashmere, firstly shades run lighter than they appear, even after oxidising. I also have shade 044 cool chai so I can mix the two when I wear tan or use as a bronzer, and that too was lighter than expected, so I would say go a shade darker than you think or go try in a shop first.

I tried this because of Tati as she is closer so my age I thought I’d give it a go. It is full coverage and a lot does go a long way. You have to dab to blend, no rubbing at all or it will look awful.

It is long wearing too and to me, looks better on the skin after an hour or 2. However it does make my lines look worse and I do have to ammend that. The smell isn’t great. At all. Does smell like they mixed in some plasticine.

For the price its a very good foundation however I probably wouldn’t buy again because I am on a journey of finding a foundation I love rather than like. BUT it does depend on skin types, I have combo, and age, if I was 10 years younger I probably would love this.

I have mixed feelings about this foundation. I have combination skin and tried this foundation with and without primers, powder or setting spray result was pretty much the same. Pros: 1. Shade is perfect for me, 2.

Feels nice on the skin when applied, don’t feel like I’m wearing foundation. And that’s about it. Cons: 1. It doesn’t stay! Touch your face and you’ll have visable fingerprints on your face-no joke! (and nooo! I did not use to much foundation!) 2.

It’ll transfer easily on to your face mask in no time, 3. My pores are ENORMOUS even on my forehead where I’ve not even knew I have pores of this size, 3. It creases in the finelines pretty badly, even if I’ll set it with a bit of powder, 4.

It creates strange dry patches on my skin, 5. after couple of hours wear it starts looking cakey, skin looks oily and you can see that it’s breaking 6. if you’ll try to fix it or even touch it up it’ll make things even worst.

Concept was great and I really hoped it’ll work but for me unfortunately it’s a fail. Shade is perfect for my skin tone but that’s about it. It didn’t worked for my combination skin but it doesn’t mean it’ll not work for someone else.

Personally I will not repurchase this.

On paper, this sounds like a brilliant foundation for a dry-skinned person seeking a natural skin-like finish. Upon looking at the ingredients, it seemed like there weren’t enough hydrating ingredients to prevent the hyaluronic acid from pulling moisture from the skin, especially in the current low-humidity winter climate I’m in.

I tried it anyway. This foundation is unwearable on me. It emphasizes every bit of dry skin and texture I’ve got, and settles into pores, resulting in the polka-dot-pores effect. I would describe the finish as matte, and a dry-looking matte, at that, so generally not the version of “skin-like” I’m going for.

When I build it up (it claims to be buildable to medium coverage), it cakes up upon itself and looks heavy. In a nutshell, I would avoid it if you have dry skin, particularly if you have any flaking or peeling going on (it’s a hot, hot mess caking up on the edges of any flaking skin), and especially if you are in a low-humidity environment.

My favourite thing about this foundation is how it wears. I put it on in somewhat of a hurry the first time I tried it and didn’t really pay attention to how it was wearing, but after about 3/4 comments on zoom on how glowy my skin was I realised this foundation was to thank.

I’m not used to creamy foundations and was scared this could feel heavy but it feels so lightweight you don’t even realise you have it on! It really does change as it settles on the skin too, leaving your skin looking luminous and radiant but completely natural all at the same time.

I don’t love pot packaging for foundation, and while it feels luxurious and looks fab on my dressing table, it’s just not my go-to for a foundation. I will forever be obsessed with how this makes me skin look though and would urge anyone to try it for a little dose of luxury.

Very happy with the purchase. Foundation looks incredibly natural with a hint of a natural glow but it by no means is a glowy foundation. It does become slightly more noticeable around the nose/ on dry patches throughout the day but it’s nothing to write home about.

Coverage is decent but on the lighter side, stays on relatively well without setting. Can be quite messy though given that it’s in a jar. If the price doesn’t break your bank, I’d say go for it as it’s worth it.

Really wanted to love this – the colour match is perfect but the coverage is surprisingly poor for such an expensive foundation – I would expect medium to cover redness but it still came through. The texture is also not great for dry skin – unless my skin was saturated with moisturiser it would drag as I applied it and after a couple of hours I could see it was starting to flake off.

If you have dry skin or require a bit more coverage, I would seriously save the money and go for something like nars – really annoyed that I wasted so much on this!.

I had borrowed this product from someone I know and totally loved it. It was easy to apply and made my skin have a kinda glow. I decided to splurge and buy some for myself. I went to an Ulta and spent a lot of my makeup savings on this product.

It was amazing at first. It covered up all of my blemishes and matched my skin tone pretty well. However, after the first week or so of use, I noticed that my before tiny pimples were spreading and getting larger.

I had heard that this product doesn’t clog pores so I kept on using it. My pimples were getting worse and I got a lot of white heads on my forehead. I went to using my tinted moisturizer and stopped using this.

The rate at which my pimples were growing and spreading slowed dramatically. I tried to keep my hopes up and was telling myself that it couldn’t be the Dermablend. So about a month after I switched I used it again.

After just one application my pimples were looking really red and worse than they did that morning. Sadly, it is to late for me to return this. I won’t say if I do or don’t recommend it because you might really like this product it just depends on your skin.

Just a word of warning if you are prone to breakouts because I’m still trying to treat my pimples from like two months ago.

I’m 24 YO and I struggled badly with acne in my teen years- and my approach to skincare was doing more harm than good. This means my skin has gone from being severely scarred & textured with enlarged pores, to slowly healing over time; resulting in a much smoother and more supple base.

Upon first impression, this product was my worst nightmare- cakey, thick, and it clumped into my enlarged pores BADLY. I tried a variety of skin prep techniques before giving in to the idea that my skin just may have been TOO textured for a product with this consistency.

It looked great on *parts* of my face, and is buildable from a more light-medium coverage into full (which I appreciate). NOW, months later, I’m back after wearing it all day to say this: IF YOU SUFFER FROM SEVERE TEXTURE, this product MAY not work for you! It is sitting well now, but my skin’s texture has *noticeably* changed since the last (dozen or so times) I tried to wear it.

It’s a great product but $40 is too much to be unable to use.

First, let me say that I am a devotee of make-up. I have used Dermablend Cover Creme, off and on, for @10 years. I think the makeup has a learning curve. One, you only need a very small amount to reach full coverage.

I think most folks compare the foundation with other brands thinking that a similar amount and the usual application techniques apply to Dermablend. Furthest thing from the truth. Use the smallest amount necessary to cover your face.

If you need additional coverage, again use a small amount and pat the additional foundation where it is needed. I use my fingers to apply and then pat that down with a damp beauty blender type sponge.

You must set this foundation. I use the Dermablend loose setting powders. You may need to buy two colors of the foundation to mix for your perfect shade. I have several to choose from. I use this foundation for highlighting and contouring as well.

If you want a perfect no-makeup makeup look, you cannot go wrong with this cover creme, if it is applied correctly. My skin looks flawless and NATURAL when I apply it which is a good technique for anyone who is looking for a great full coverage foundation.

I also use the setting spray to have a more skin like finish. I have dry skin so oilier skin types may opt to use a mattifying setting spray. If you are oily, you may also consider applying a very thin layer of the loose setting powder over well moisturized and primer skin prior to applying the foundation.

That can also help in the long term wearability on the skin. Long post, Iknow, but this is a great product.

I found this foundation at a bargain at Winners (CAD$11) and oh my goodness, what a find! Bought the color: Nutmeg, apply it with my fingertips. It is lovely used on its own and even better when used with a primer and a finishing powder.

Pros: (1) I was surprised at how great the coverage is without being heavy. My skin could still breath. (2)Long stay with no cakiness. (3)It appears matte on the skin, which I love, just a soft natural finish.

I can then use my setting powder to get a shimmer or a luminous finish if I wanted to. (4) The squeeze bottle lets you get the last bit out of it. Cons: Packaging of this one is not so good. So much pressure in the tube so that the formula pours out of the squeeze tube even when you do not apply pressure, and creates a mess.

MUST SHAKE before use. These were not my 1st pick, but I gotta tell ya, I’m happy with it. I have used Laura Mercier foundation for a long time, but wanted to try the “award winning” one, but it was not available.

I think I actually like this one better than my usual LM foundation (the Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation). Also, it’s really hard to get the last of the makeup out of a glass bottle. This is a squeeze bottle, and I should be able to get the last of the product out.

With any of the LM foundations, my only note is: you must seal it with the powder, otherwise it’s actually traveled into my eyes in the past (i. e. if you’re in a hurry and leave the house without putting on powder).

I love Laura mercier foundations and this one didn’t disappoint me. It’s full coverage, which I love and it blended so well. It doesn’t look too heavy or cakey like some full coverage foundations do.

I would consider buying this again when I run out but I only two shades left on the Sephora website. I hope it’s not being discontinued cause it really is a good foundation. The instructions say to apply this with a sponge.

I applied lt with my sigma flat Kabuki F80 brush for Fuller coverage and then went over it with a beauty blender. It’s more work but makes it look really great. I have dry skin and I don’t feel like it dries out my skin.

The only thing is that I wish it was more radiant or luminous. For some reason, It looks almost matte on my skin. Overall, a good foundation that I would recommend.

My favourite foundation. Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue foundation is so comfortable on the skin, dewy, glowy, yet natural. Not a mask, just enhances the beauty of your skin. But is also buidable, if you want a heavier coverage.

I use a brush for application. Once on, I can’t feel it, so really breathable. Great for my sensitive skin. Packed with the right vitamins, hence the name ‘ Healthy Mix. ‘ Because Bourjois don’t trade in the UK, when I found my shade on Notino, I bought x 3.

I would recommend this foundation to anyone who is looking for a light to medium coverage dewy foundation that a sensitive skin can tolerate. That you can wear without powder on an older skin or younger skin.

This foundation is an absolute must have! The vitamins work wonders for the skin, giving it a beautiful, healthy glow. I’ve been using it for quite some time and what I have discovered is that it is great for hyperpigmentation 👀 because the vitamins really help! It’s great coverage and easily buildable- which is also amazing because you can alternate between a light layer and double it up if needed 😄 the scent is also amazing! Highly recommended.

The foundation spreads nicely, is creamy, moisturizes, does not dry out, but blends with the skin. It just has a natural finish and the skin looks nourished and rested. It is worth adding that the foundation smells nice, which makes applying it more pleasant.

The fragrance is delicate, fruity. The packaging of the cosmetic also deserves praise. This is a glass bottle with an airless pump. This is an absolutely sensational solution – hygienic and practical.

The layout of the foundation is pleasing to the eye, typical of the manufacturer. The composition is probably the best of the foundations I have used so far. Another praise is wearing comfort. It is imperceptible on the skin, both for me “from the inside” and when touching the skin with my hand – nothing sticks.

It looks great after application – the foundation is removed in the shade emphasizing the naturalness of the skin. It only slightly covers imperfections and redness. One layer gives an average coverage effect and not much else can be done with it, because it is not an easy-to-build product layer on layer.

Despite the serious disadvantage of impermanence, Healthy Mix remains my favorite because it gives a natural finish.

Ok so I tend to like majority of the products I get because they do what I expect, it’s rare that I give a product a bad review however when is time to compare I look 👀 to my past comments and then I’m like yeah this product is way better.

This is my case with this awesome foundation! See I’m a Too faced lover! I use many products of that brand , however lately I’ve been noticing a big no no in regards their liquid foundation 😔. My face started to peel but not like one or two flakes no, the entire thing! I didn’t know why and changed my routine, I tried other liquid foundations that I have and for a strange reason kept happening until I searched for liquid foundation for dry skin and I’m beyond thankful! If you have dry skin look no further.

The thing is that you must follow the application instructions. Apply dabs with clean finger tips ( all over your face) use a beauty blender but don’t over do it. Lightly blend! I promise you will love it.

I wanted to love this foundation, because I’ve heard such good things about it, but unfortunately it is just not the one for me. The coverage is a little lighter than I would have liked, and when I tried to add more it got cake-y.

It settled in my pores and against dead skin in a way that is really unflattering. That being said, once it’s on, it’s really easy to forget about, because it is so light. I also like that there aren’t any added fragrances.

As you can see from the photos, the discoloration on my face is still clearly visible below the foundation, although it is much less prominent.

Love love love Dermablend!!!! I’ve used this line for years and years. Not only do I have sensitive skin but also dark spots to be covered and this is fantastic!!! It covers well and its great for the skin!! That’s a double plus! Wether or not you have oily skin, dry, combination.

there is a product for you and I never rave on a product so much but I’d be lost without having some Dermablend products on hand everyday. I have probably bought the entire line at some point because I use different coverages depending on the seasons and the changes in my skin.

I could go on and on but you will not regret anything you pick up from Dermablend!!! I again, never write reviews but I just love this product so much I wish I was the founder because it’s a real gem!!!.

I am Latina and consider myself knowledgeable in makeup. I started wearing make up at age 13 and here I am in my 40’s. I have tried so many foundations and spent high dollars on so many until I found the No.

7 brand. In my 30’s I started with the Lighter coverage and as I’ve aged I decided a little more coverage would be best. I can honestly say this foundation is UH-MazING… Seriously; Amazing. The tone I use is Cool Ivory and it matches skin so well.

My favorite part is it doesn’t make me appear yellow or Orange as if I just came out of Willy Wonkas Factory. This particular formula blends seamlessly into my skin. I love the creamy smooth texture, the extra light smell and the smoothness and coverage it gives because it’s buildable.

I also no longer use a primer for eyeshadow and instead simply use a dab to my lids before applying powders. I notice powders placed on top actually stay in place as well as even though it’s buildable it still feels extremely light on my face as if I’ve only applied a thin moisturizer.

I’ve tried others that simply felt like I was walking around with a cake mask. Ugh. can someone say, Gross! Truly, I highly recommend this foundation for any age or skin type. Personally I have dry/sensitive skin and this foundation has never caused a breakout for me, but instead left my face looking and feeling flawless.

Also, every artist out there knows the base is the most important part of makeup and No. 7 lift and luminate with triple action serum and SPF is key! Seriously ladies, add the No. 7 Brand of foundation to your collection.

You will be extremely satisfied and never go back to another brand.

wore this foundation for a few months because I liked the coverage. I prefer a more full coverage and this managed to cover all my redness and post-acne hyperpigmentation, but it ended up dehydrating my skin like crazy.

The more I wore it, the more dehydrated it became, and now I’m actually in the process of trying to heal from it. I found out that this foundation contains denatured alcohol which is a known irritant, and I’m pretty certain that’s what sucked the life out of my face.

After continued use, it also gave me serious cake face, and I still got super oily, too. I’m pretty sure the extra oil was a result of my skin being so dehydrated (which is different than DRY skin). Just awful.

I’m now trying out other foundations that don’t contain denatured alcohol and would highly suggest anyone who is susceptible to dehydration or has a compromised moisture barrier to do the same.

My skin is fair with neutral undertones and the lightest color is called Calico and that is the color I use. It matches very well. It leaves a velvet finish that is so nice. I am 61 years old and I love how it looks, just dont put as much on areas of wrinkles because any foundation will crease there.

I have heard some people say the pump quits working. It does not! Just keep pumping it, turn it upside down and give it a few shakes and keep pumping. Eventually you will hear a pop and it will start working again.

The plunger packaging needs pressure buildup and is great because it lets you use every drop and keeps it clean from bacteria. This really is an outstanding product.

I first tried this from a Sephora sample and loved it. Thought it was the most beautiful, longest lasting skin tint that I have tried thus far. I purchased a full size from Milk and immediately hated the application.

I’d rather this come in a packet. It just gets goopy and you waste product wiping the roller ball off and I feel like it’s uneven. I get what they were going for, and I’m sure there are some people out there who love the rollerball style but it ruins the product for me personally.

It’s such a great skin tint, light to medium coverage, lasts a long time and looks so skin like, has a slight but pleasant smell so it’s just such a bummer that it comes in this applicator. If they took it out of that and made it a tad cheaper it would 1000% be worth it.

As much as I love it, I don’t think I will repurchase unless I can figure out a different way to get the product out of the tube. PS I find the best way to apply is to roll it all over and blend out with a sponge, my brushes caused too much patchiness and took away coverage.

A dry sponge, surprisingly, seemed to add coverage. I would recommend only if you think you could deal with the roller ball application! If not, go for a different skin tint!.

This foundation is extremely heavy texturewise and felt like it stayed sticky and sitting on top my skin for a very long time. It might work great for people who have extremely dry skin, but I felt like it was way too much for me, even though I’m dealing with some dryness from winter.

In summer this would definitely break me out. It felt like it was hard to blend it in and it never absorbed, and I could still feel it on my face after 30 minutes. It stayed tacky for the rest of the afternoon and I eventually took it off because of how uncomfortable it was.

(I don’t tend to be bothered by stuff like this usually). It smells strongly of sunscreen even after it had been a couple hours. I didn’t love it. I think the sunblock component is on the cheap side and responsible for the thick/sticky texture.

It’s disappointing because I’ve used other cheaper foundations with higher SPF that don’t have the greasy texture and strong smell this one does. The shade range is also really weird. I’m usually able to find a foundation that matches my skin tone in Milk products, but it seems like there are really big gaps between each shade for this product.

I’m slightly cool toned and fair skinned, but the “Fair” shade was WAY too pink and pale for me. The next cool toned shade was too dark and also too pink. I ended up going with the neutral shade in between the two, which was a decent match but still a bit warm toned, especially after it oxidizes.

I can fix the issue with a cool toned powder, but you shouldn’t have to for how much this costs. I love Milk but this product needs some work. I don’t recommend it. I’ll stick with my other Milk foundation.

I’m returning this one.

Honestly so blown away by this product. I’ve always wanted to find a skin tint that worked for me since I deal with a lot of redness but most brands are way too sheer or they just slip right off my face after a couple of hours of wear.

This one is definitely thicker than your normal skin tint but its still lightweight and not full coverage! I find that it gives the perfect amount of coverage to cover my redness and its not sheer enough where there’s no staying power.

Its dewy without being overly shiny and the fact that it has SPF is such a plus! I love the packaging i think its really convenient that i don’t have to get foundation on my fingers or the back of my hand, and I love that its reusable! I just roll the ball on a tissue after I’m done and it stays really clean.

When I know I’m wearing a mask over this I make sure to set my face with loose powder and use a setting spray, it stays on pretty well under the mask!!! Can’t say better things about this product.

This is the Kevyn Aucoin foundation balm and this retails for $52. 00. I love a full coverage product, the problem is how thick and dry this is. It’s like spackle. It is a very matte finish and takes a little work to blend this out.

Definitely not for any kind of dryness. I think if you are doing more high end, editorial style photographs this might work, just not an everyday foundation. This is thick, heavy, and detectable. Tried to picture the texture for you.

I had heard a lot of good things about Kevyn Aucoin and thought I’d give this foundation a try especially as it was on offer on Look fantastic. I’m 50 plus with reasonably good skin although I do have fine lines and some under eye crepey skin.

I’m rather set in my ways with my foundation as I’ve found a few that work like Estée Lauder Doublewear, IT cosmetics CC, EX1 and discarded many that don’t but I will definitely be adding this to my go to foundations.

The brush that comes with it makes application very easy and I really liked the finish as it’s great coverage but not mask like, initially felt it would sit in my creases but when finished applying I added a dusting of powder I was really pleased with the overall look and staying power.

After reading various reviews and looking at swatches I ordered a slightly warmer shade than I would normally go for and go I was pleased that I did as it was a great match for me. I love this foundation!.

Omg omg! I have used the fenty pro filter foundation since it came out and could never find anything I liked better until now! I have a combination skin type. Dry but oily t zone. This foundation went on very easily and blended great! The brush that comes with it is excellent for the product as well.

This is the first one I have ever used a foundation that says it will give an airbrushed effect and it actually does immediately!! My skin looked so smooth and perfect! I can not recommend this foundation enough! It lasted all day and I only had to touch up my nose cause I wear glasses that makes my foundation move around on the bridge of my nose.

It blended and worked well with other products as well such as my contour powder, concealer and blush! Love love love!.

This is a medium coverage foundation that you can build up or turn it into more of a tinted moisturiser just by adding 1-2 pumps of moisturiser into the foundation before applying. It has great wear time does sit well under translucent powder, especially if you wanted to customise the glow for oily skin types for example.

Lovely hydrating formula perfect for normal to dry skin. It blends in incredibly easy sits well under cream blushes bronzers. Convenient packaging for travel touch ups. I apply this with a sponge but hands or brushes all work well for this.

This is water resistant formula however, under very warm conditions or if you are prone to perspiration you think you may need to touch up during the day I’d advise not setting with a powder as the powder once set into the skin might make touch ups not look as flawless could lift the powder underneath.

Leaves a lovely healthy glow at drugstore prices. Definitely recommend.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this foundation. As an oily/combo skin girl, I usually gravitate towards the matte options for fear of looking like an oil slick. However, as I’m getting older I notice my skin is changing a bit.

Matte foundations just end up looking cakey and separating on my skin after a while, so I decided to try a more hydrating foundation. I’m so glad I did, this wears beautifully! It is a very natural finish, covers imperfections, and is very long lasting (with me blotting once during the day).

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the shade range is terrible. I couldn’t find my exact shade and I have to use my own pigment mixers to fix the shade I bought. They need deeper shades as well.

More options for different undertones would be great. Overall, I’m glad I picked this up!.

This is my first drug store foundation, I have used it for about a year now and I have to say it has raised the bar for any foundation I will purchase in the future! I even decided to wear it to my high school graduation ceremony because this foundation is so versatile, you can do both “no makeup” looks and full glam with it.

It has an even, velvet finish and covers my pores without having to use any pore filling primer beforehand. It has buildable coverage and does not pill, considering I wear layers of SPF with it. What I love about this foundation is that there is a “glow from within”, some foundations tend to take away all of the natural tones in your skin, but with this foundation, I can skip the blush and highlighter if I’m in a rush.

It is not too heavy on the skin and, I’ve noticed others mention it to be too radiant, but that can easily be fixed with powder to your liking. This never leaves patchy spots on my skin and also lasts under masks for hours.

First of all, let me point out that this is not a full coverage foundation. If you’re looking for something thicker and full coverage, this is not it. However, if you’re after an every day natural, glowy, dewy, light foundation, this is seriously the BEST thing I’ve ever tried that was drugstore and not very expensive.

It’s a liquidy foundation, distributes so evenly, doesn’t cling to any certain areas of your face and because of this it makes it extremely good for building up. You have a choice whether you want something very natural like a CC cream for only very minimal coverage, you can just use a very small amount and that just evenly glides on.

If you want something more medium coverage, you just use more of the product. For every day, this is fantastic and my absolute favourite foundation I’ve ever tried that doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing foundation! Obsessed with this! Please never discontinue this!.

It’s a food foundation. For people looking for medium coverage and a light foundation. I am 44 and already fighting wrinkles and obviously looking for something to give me that natural healthy look. And this little foundation does that.

I will go to that length by saying I can replace my Even better, with this version. A bit airy but hey, the price is more than half. A little heads-up though. I am an warm ivory on No7 foundation. And here I am Sesame.

So try to work it out. The shades might be a bit different from what you know. And I strongly recommend mixing this with a full coverage one if a full coverage is what you’re after. You’ll get a nice healthy glow without looking like you’re wearing brick mortar.

I bought this foundation as I struggle with dry patches on my face and needed a light weight option that wouldn’t cling to the dry skin. This definitely has impressed and is now a make up staple for me.

It is such good coverage and doesn’t lift throughout the day or if you wanted to put cream contour on top, it’s also extremely buildable which is great if wanted to alter how much coverage you wanted.

It is so glowy and gives me the perfect shine even with dry skin. 10/10 definitely recommend.

This is a tricky product to get right and so it was a disappointment when it still wasn’t all that great. The coverage is sheer to medium – but be careful trying to build it up too much because it starts to look cakey/makeup-y when you do.

You’re better off leaving it sheer and touching up any trouble spots with concealer than trying to build the coverage with this. The finish is beautiful and luminous – but doesn’t last at all. I tried it with and without primer (Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Protecting primer) and I also tried it with All Nighter setting spray (again, with and without primer) but nothing gave it any staying power.

It broke up within 3-4 hours in every case. I will say that the color descriptions are spot on. I have medium neutral skin and the shade that’s described as medium with neutral undertones – 3N2 – was a near perfect match.

One other note – it did not play well with my Elta MD sunscreen AT ALL. The day I applied over the Elta MD, this foundation took on an almost paste-like consistency and it never set up. I’ve never had that happen with that sunscreen before.

2 stars because of the good color match and the pretty luminous finish, but it was a fail for me in every other way.

Last Saturday I thought I’d go into Mecca and see what foundations I could sample. I explained the finish I was looking for and was matched with this foundation knowing full well it’d cost and arm and leg to purchase.

I have to say holy wow! I was matched with the lightest colour due to being the almost translucent person that I am and holy heck! I’ve worn every brand of foundation under the sun since the age of 18 and nothing compares to this.

The lightest colour is very deceiving as it is the oddest orange colour in the bottle but once applied it’s fantastic and a perfect match for my freckled face. The texture is very fine to the point where it just looks like second skin but a fair better version! I wear glasses to work and usually other foundation lift off my face around the nose because of my glasses but this foundation surprisingly stayed in place!! I must say I’ve very impressed by this foundation, and once I’ve finished my sample I will definitely be buying the bottle and probably sticking to this foundation for quite some time!! Buy it ladies!.

What I was looking for: Light weight, buildable foundation with delicate glow. As someone with light, neutral/yellow skin tone overall, but a lot of redness in my face, color is fairly important. Color: The light warm range (2W1 and 2W1.

5) has a nice golden undertone without a lot of pick which makes it come across more true neutral golden instead of bright yellow or bright peach which can happen with other “warm” shades with other brands.

-> I originally tried the 2W1. 5 Bisque shade, but it was slightly too dark and the oxidized like crazy into a weird orange tint. When I switched to 2W1, it was just a touch lighter and for some reason did not suffer from the same oxidization problem.

Maybe it was a fluke of batches, but this seems to be a noticeable risk with LM products nowadays. Coverage: Medium. A slight amount of my redness still peaks through, but I don’t reach for this for full mask-level coverage.

It still gives a nice overall evenness of color and texture. Texture – Application: At first, I struggled to make this foundation work. Part of the struggle was being a brush-application novice. The Beauty Blender application was always nice and thin and even, but more sheer than I wanted.

With a brush, I was finding that too much product caused streaking and pushing instead of blending into the skin. With practice, I found that thin applications of just a little bit of product worked better for this foundation, where ever layer gets the chance to melt into the skin and previous layers.

It’s effective but requires patience. Texture – Finish: I love the finish. It’s satin, not overly dewy. I get a little bit oily throughout they day, but it actually makes the finish ever prettier. If you’re more oily, it might push those bounds, but I find blotting and light powdering gives a nice touch-up.

Overall: It doesn’t yet feel like “the one” but it’s solid and I feel confident that I have a foundation I can always rely on.

I have been using Lančome products for decades and have always enjoyed the quality. I still have three Lančome makeup brushes which I bought over 20 years ago and they are like new, though I wash them twice per week! The color range of foundations they offer is spectacular, to begin with.

I personally chose this product because I have ridiculously dry skin which needs every bit of help it can get in the moisture department, coupled with the fact that I’m a pink-ish ivory (most manufacturers only have a yellow-to-beige tinted ivory).

I applied it-accidentally-without using a primer beforehand, and I discovered that I liked it even more! It feels silky and blends well, and true to its claims: it ACTUALLY LIFTS. The more you use it, the more the effect.

It gives a natural dewy look, not overworked and weird looking. It looks so nice that it doesn’t need powder, so if you’re 50+ you don’t have to worry about powder accentuating wrinkles. If you allow the application to dry, you can reapply in areas such as under the eyes (rather than have the deer in headlights look from a too-light concealer), and the coverage is wonderful, and again-NATURAL.

I feel this is key, and it’s so understated. “When you want to look like you with the Insta filter on!”.

Why is no one talking about this foundation? I bought this by mistake. meant to get Teinte Idole but somehow put this one in my basket LOL – didn’t realize what I had done until I wore this for a few days.

I love it! I’m 45 and have combo skin – oily forehead and nose, dryer cheeks and chin. I’ve tried so many other prestige foundations and this one doesn’t cling to my dry patches, blends nicely, provides medium coverage with a natural finish, doesn’t settle into fine lines and keeps my skin looking like skin (not cakey).

Evens out my skin tone, fades my pink blotches and feels weightless. AND HAS SPF! Love the pump, too. Very impressed with this foundation and so glad I accidentally purchased it! The price is a bit steep, but willing to pay it for the results.

I have pink undertones in my fair skin and shade 110 is perfect for me. I apply about 3 pumps with a beauty blender and tap on a little dab on blemishes for more coverage instead of concealer. Lasts a solid 8-10 hours for me.

Very happy with this foundation and wish it would get more attention from influencers. had no idea this even existed! Just give it a try!.

I am 39 and a few months from 40. This year fine lines showed up (and I am religious on skincare) and my under eyes got dryer or something because almost everything makes them crease. Needless to say, my favorite ride or die foundations stopped looking good on me.

Then I gave this one a try. It’s so different than any other foundation I’ve tried. It light but coverage , moisturizing but doesn’t slide off your skin. I see even women my moms age looking good in this one.

I apply with a brush and then use a beauty blender to press it in and my face looks air brushed. My fine lines less noticeable. All and all – this is my new one and only ride or die and I notice you can not find a lot of them at Ulta which scares me.

Please never ever stop selling this. Women my age and older need a good foundation too. And trust me- I’ve tried all the other ones – they all are awful on aging skin.

I’ve been looking for a tinted moisturizer with buildable coverage for a while and this is a hit for me! I have hyper pigmentation and I can build this tinted moisturizer up with a blending sponge to cover well without looking caked on.

It’s not full coverage, but enough for a natural medium coverage look. Which is what I was looking for. Just kinda evens me out. If you use your fingers to blend it out it’s very sheer and you have to work quick because it drys down fast.

So I would recommend a wet blending sponge of some kind to apply it. I set it with the Laura Mercier setting powder because I have very oily skin and it holds up well. It does dry down on its own, so if you had dry skin I don’t think you’d have to set it much if at all.

It’s more of a satin finish even with a setting powder which gives a nice no makeup makeup kind of look. It doesn’t settle into my lines or pores and it doesn’t blur the skin very much. It just kind of looks like my skin, but better and more even toned.

For me this is exactly what I’ve been looking for as far as tinted moisturizer goes. I would recommend if you’re looking for a tinted moisturizer to give this a try.

Feels really good on my naturally dry skin, is hydrating and comfortable. Blends like a dream with your hands, which is how I recommend blending it because of how sheer and thin the formula is. I use the lightest shade, Petal, which is an exact match for me, which is a bonus.

I love how skin-like and seamless it looks on the skin, it doesn’t look or feel like I’m wearing anything whenever I use this tinted moisturizer. Plus it has a beautiful but natural looking glow. This is 100% a light coverage tinted moisturizer.

Has enough coverage to even out the skin and make it look brighter/healthier, but not enough to hide imperfections. Basically it gives a, your skin but better, type of look. So avoid this if you want something with a lot of coverage.

Perfect for if you just want something quick to apply or if you want something very natural and skin-like.

For most days I think my skin looks best with a base of tinted moisturizer (and concealer where needed) and set with a powder rather than any heavy coverage foundation. There are several that I love and alternate with and this is one of the best out there, I honestly don’t understand why there aren’t a ton of rave reviews for it.

I haven’t used the other versions of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (though based on how much I love this I will try them) but the name for this is spot on. It makes my skin look like it’s glowing.

But its a soft, all overglow, it’s not spangly or space age like you’re wearing highlighter all over your face. It’s just a really, really, pretty glow. Perfect for everyday or casual events where you want to look nice but not too made up.

I wear 1C0 Cameo in this and Erborian CC cream in Clair and Chantcaille Just Skin in Alabaster if that helps anyone match their colour.

I don’t like the new packaging. Loved the pump and now they changed it. Thrive makes a great product, but just don’t change the packaging. One of the reasons I stopped using Revlon was once you got used to a product, they would change it.

This became frustrating. I am glad in the long run that happened because I then went on to find and use Thrive, However, please reconsider your packaging. If you did it for environmental reasons, then lead the way on innovation and find a reasonable cost effective environmentally friendly way to offer with a pump.

Remember-If something is not broken, then don’t fix it!!.

This is my new favorite Cc cream! I used to use the Nars tinted moisturizer but finding a good match is difficult but I still do enjoy my Nars I was looking to get a new product and I’m so excited I got this! I have combination skin that’s currently dryer with the cold and slightly oily in my t zone in the summer.

I actually purchased this cause of a beauty influancer, Kathleen Lights! She’s my favorite beauty influencers and she has this product in so many of her videos so I had to get my hands on it! I enjoy the formula and find it to be lightweight, hydrating and makes my skin flawless! I appreciate that it has an spf.

The color is incredible for my skintone! I purchased the color light and it’s by far one of the best matches I have used. I have olive skin and find that the light is a great match for me currently with the New York cold.

I will definitely be purchasing light medium for the summer. As far as a CC cream this is incredible and I prefer this compared to other of my high end foundations. The only thing I notice is it makes my skin look oily by the end of the day but I just do a quick setting power and it’s back to look flawless! The sponge is my new favorite.

I enjoy how easy it is to use and how durable it is. I used to use a beauty blender but this is my new go to sponge.

I’m the type to normally try and leave a review for each product I use to help others out. I bought the CC cream in the shade light and it’s a great match for my winter skin. It held up for a solid nine hours once I put it on and set it with the powder using my beauty blender to blend and tap both on to my skin.

It’s light weight, doesn’t clog my pores or break me out, and the powder doesn’t get everywhere when I use it. I like it so far. Haven’t been outside yet to see how it does in the sun or with sweat or oil control yet, but I’m hoping it holds up just as well.

I can’t wait to try more products. I wish you guys had a foundation like this in the same shades and with as long of a wear time, because I’d definitely buy it. I’d also like to see more of a range of eye shadow palettes/colors because that’s something I’m really into.

I’d like to see glitters, pinks, browns, golds, mattes, etc. , just a bigger, expanded range as well as a makeup primer and setting spray to hold my makeup in place. Overall definitely impressed and I think you may have a new customer on your hands.
