20 Best Cream For Thyroid Dry Skin (2023 Updated)

I have never written a review, and I have possibly never re-purchased a moisturizer, but i am about to go in for my second on this one. I usually get what’s on sale that’s not tested on animals and/or organic where possible.

I’m low maintenance–an approach that has possibly had its toll on my now-40 skin. But this cream has really grown on me. I use it at night after washing my face. I even switched to fancy fancy true botanicals stuff and put this little jar away, but I switched back! The only thing that’s weird is that the jar says to “mix well” before use, which in a full new jar is pretty hard to do and very wasteful if you try and stir it with your finger (i switched to using a bobby pin and later just gave the jar a shake when it was less full).

I have never seen a product that says this. It made me mad at first, but now I’m convinced it’s worth the hassle.

I’ve been using your products for years, and I currently purchase most of them on Amazon due to their competitive price. As I was making another purchase on Amazon today I noticed that each of the MyChelle products in my cart had the Prop 65 Warning disclaimer attached to them, and I would like to know what this is about? My family has a history of cancer and I deliberately try to avoid products with this warning label.

Your packaging states that your skin care products are Vegan and free of Parabens, Petroleum, Phthalates, Silicones, Sulfates, Ureas, Artificial Fragrances/colors, but you’re okay with incorporating other harmful ingredients that could cause cancer to your consumers? If this is correct, your packaging is misleading and deceitful, because you’re not really focused on providing “Clean Skin Care” as your brand states.

This is a great face cream. The scent is a bit herbaceous, but still fresh and not overwhelming. The moisturizer itself is not incredibly thick, but not runny either. It goes on with ease and provides very deep moisturization.

Initially you can tell that there is a cream on your face because it leaves that shiny look, but after about 15 minutes it mostly gets absorbed. I have combination skin that leans more oily so I cannot wear this in the morning with my makeup because it will make me look incredibly oily, however I think this is the perfect over night moisturizer.

It provides a thick moisture barrier that does not feel greasy. I like the nature-derived ingredients in it, such as rosehip and black currant oils and that it does not contain silicones, parabens, or artificial fragrances or colors.

I love this repair cream and recommend it for most skin types. If you have dry skin I think this would be perfect for AM/PM wear. If your skin is more oily I would only use it at night to avoid it interfering with makeup (if you do wear makeup) or looking oily throughout the day.

I will be trying other products from MyChelle and provide an update after using this sample to see if there is a noticeable difference in skin aging because it claims to ‘reduce the visible signs of aging’.

Vinosource-Hydra SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer Caudalie sent me their wonderful products to try out for my skin type. They sent me the Vinosource-Hydra SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer. This product silky rich moisturizing cream with antioxidant grapes nourishing borage oil to deeply hydrate dry skin, even the most sensitive.

The highlight ingredients are – Organic Grape Water: Moisturizes and soothes dry, sensitive skin and nourishes skin’s microbiome. – Borage Oil: Nourishes and visibly repairs. – Olive Squalane: Moisturizes and hydrates.

With my experience using this product I’m happy to say it made a difference in my skin. I’ve noticed my skin is super hydrated and pumped after used. I love this face cream for my dry skin and would recommend this to someone who has the skin type as I.

Plus this brand is Vegan, cruelty free and use recycle for their packages. The only negative comment I have is it’s a bit on the pricey side.

I am pleasantly pleased with this moisturizer! My skin has been overly dry lately due to a combination of Tretinoin and dry weather conditions. I’ve been on the hunt for an intense moisturizing cream because of my dry, sensitive, and mature skin.

I was using Sunday Riley’s Ice which is amazing but I think it’s more suitable for winter as it’s a little too greasy during the warmer months. It’s also very pricey at $65. 00. I went to Sephora and a sales lady recommended this moisturizer to me.

I’ve never tried a Caudalie product but have always been curious about the brand. Luckily I was able to get this as a free sample with my VIB points. First off, it has a really nice texture. I love a thick cream and this is thick but spreads easily.

I do not like fragrance in my skincare products but this has a very nice light scent which I have no issues with. The best way to describe the feel of it is “comforting”. It feels great upon application and my skin feels very moisturized and soothed.

It does leave a bit of a sheen but I wouldn’t call it greasy. I would definitely consider purchasing the full size and for the quality I find the price reasonable at $42. 00. I would highly recommend Caudalie Vinosource-Hydra SOS Intense Moisturizing Cream for those with dry, sensitive and mature skin!.

This is the MOST hydrating cream I have ever used from any brand. It does not cause migraines from the smell. Smell is the normal Caudalie smell. This soaks into the skin, but stays moisturized. I put this on at night and also under matte powders when I wear no foundation.

It did not burn my eyes when i put it on my eyelashes. One might find this is a little pricey, but there are no cons that I have found. It lasted me for over 6 months because it is very concentrated.

Love love love this! Gave it to my husband as well.

I was given a sample at Mecca as I was in need of a night time moisturiser to help get rid of dry spots. I found it a bit thick but went ahead and put it on my face and neck before bed, I noticed initially it stung my face but I’ve had that prior and never had any issues as such as it went away after a few minutes.

I used it for a total of 3/4 nights over a week and began to realise my whole face and neck felt like it had sand stuck to it, the next day my partner noticed a red bumpy rash on my neck to which made me realise it was this new product I added into my routine as my cheeks, eyelids, under eye and forehead (basically my entire face) had A LOT of small raised bumps all over!! I immediately ceased use of the product and threw the rest of the sample in the bin.

Only now (2/3 weeks later) has my skin started to flake and the bumps slowly but surely are reducing day by day! I will also mention the rash was actually itchy in spots at times but I tried my best not to scratch! I stopped using all moisturisers and exfoliants in the first week as I was afraid of making it worse etc so I just made sure to cleanse my face twice a day and hoped for the best! I slowly reintroduced my daily moisturiser “cloud dew” and am yet to use an exfoliant which I may do today.

With the amount of bad reviews I have now seen and the fact this company apparently IGNORES consumers complaints is quite frankly disgusting and should be taken further! They need to have a serious look into the reason this is happening and discontinue the product until the recipe can be fixed! We are very lucky that this has not (at this point) left permanent damage! DO NOT RISK YOUR FACE WITH THIS PRODUCT!.

Very thick but smooth gliding cream. It smells sweet – vaguely like cherry vanilla (very gentle scent) which is so pleasant and relaxing. (I actually wish they made a body lotion or body oil with this soft scent.

) I have extremely dry skin which develops patches of dryness, flakes, redness, and rosacea in winter, especially around cheeks. This has prevented that. Usually I need to use a humidifier at night to make my skin more moist in winter but this year I didn’t! So to me that’s clear effectiveness.

I use a decent scoop of this (it comes with a beauty spatula to prevent touching it with fingers) but if you aren’t nearly as dry as me, you’ll definitely use less. Even with my massive scoops, I’ve had it for a month and it’s only 1/3 gone.

Bonus: It does not cause pilling when I put my mineral SPF on.

I find it really odd that this moisturizer only has an average of 3 stars or so (as of March 11, 2022). Along with Sunday Riley’s Vitamin C products, this ICE Ceramide Moisturizer is up there with my all time favourite skin care products ever.

A few years ago, I finally found what works for my skin and has kept my acne away or at a very minimum since then. It includes using a cleanser that has no foaming agents (soap and surfactant free) and ceramides.

This has allowed my skin to repair its moisture barrier and keep it healthy. This moisturizer may look thick in the jar but it doesn’t feel thick on the skin and only a little bit is needed for the entire face and the décolleté.

I love the scent, though mild and barely noticeable. I use this cream at night, after my essence and serums and I always wake up with skin that is soft, smooth and well hydrated and moisturized. I hope Sunday Riley keep this cream in their product line…it would be so disappointing to not have this available.

This is such a great idea—I’m glad there’s a refill pod for this moisturizer. It’s a little tricky to get the empty pod out of the external jar. My fingers are bendy and don’t grip well, so I tried some pliers; that was unsuccessful, so I got my mom to try it, first with her hands and then with the pliers.

The trick is to grab one edge of the empty cup with the pliers then pull up, rather than trying to squeeze both sides with the pliers. I still rated this product four stars since the moisturizer is great and once I figured out how to get the pod out it was easy going.

My experience (difficulty) might also be a bit of a fluke as well. However, it may not be so easy for people with weak hands, hypermobility, or without a tool of some sort to remove the empty pod in order to insert a new one.

About the moisturizer itself: it starts out thick, but turns to a watery consistency pretty quickly. I’ve experienced no burning/irritation with it—a miracle for my reactive, angry skin. I’ve got some acne rosacea going on and this stuff actually has my skin looking better than it has in a good while.

The ingredient list is pretty limited—zero fragrance, no essential oils that can be sensitizing—and honestly I’ve had better luck with this than the Honest Daily Calm sensitive skin moisturizer. It leaves a dewy finish on the more combo parts of my dry-combo face, and it sinks in pretty quickly to drier areas.

It works well under my Pixi H2O skin tint—no pilling, even application. I don’t apply the Hydrogel too close to my eyes, but it definitely helps with undereye/periorbital dryness and crepey-ness. It’s very cost-effective, even more so with the refill pod.

Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic, affordable moisturizing cream for people with dry skin. I *thought* I had dry combination skin (dry all over with an oily forehead), but it turns out that I have dehydrated skin, which is significantly different.

I’m also prone to acne, especially on my nose and chin. When I first tried Hydrogel Cream, I thought I’d found my HG. The initial texture is light and refreshing, but it becomes thicker and heavier as you rub it in.

It really sinks into your skin and provides a beautiful dewy finish, and I felt hydrated all day. However, it did make my forehead incredibly oily, but since I’m oily there anyway, it didn’t bother me initially.

However, after about a week, I noticed that I had developed blackheads all over my nose and around my mouth. I added a stronger exfoliant to my routine, but it wasn’t enough to clear the blackheads. I stopped using this cream altogether, and the blackheads cleared up after about two weeks.

I don’t think this cream is non-comedogenic for that reason, which is common with creams made specifically for dry skin, but is a deal-breaker for me. Verdict? Though it’s not for me, I would still recommend it if you have dry skin and aren’t prone to blackheads.

Even if you are, it might be worth a try if you already have a great exfoliating routine.

-Hydrogel Cream For reference, I am 40, have sensitive/dry skin (rosacea prone). During winter, I had been using a thicker moisturizer to combat the extra dryness winter brings me. During summer, I like to switch to a lighter formula- it’s kind of like how we pull out shorts and put away our puffy coats from winter, you should tweak your skincare the same way.

This moisturizer is IT for me! It has no scent and is extremely weightless. It goes on like a cream and then as you blend it- you feel this moisture surge as your skin is basically taking a huge gulp of water.

It is quickly absorbed into the skin and plays really well under makeup. It leaves my skin feeling softer, moisturized and truly so healthy. It has two types of hyaluronic acid (helps to plump skin and reduce wrinkles), plus squalane (reduces redness and inflammation) and squalane (hydrates and helps lock in moisture).

Talk about powerhouse ingredients!.

After trying just about every moisturizer over the years at lovely skin, I finally decided to give Obagi hydrate luxe a try a month ago since it was on sale. I’m beyond happy with this night cream. Its the absolutely best, even compared the the more expensive and popular night cream sold at LovelySkin.

A little bit goes a long way. Its not greasy and soaks right into my skin. I also use the Obagi retinal 1% every other night only because my skin is a little sensitive at times then apply the hydrate lux cream.

I just reordered another hydrate lux and also purchased the the hydrate daytime moisturizer which is a wonderful daytime cream under my makeup. My skin looks better than ever! I will be purchasing these product from now on, on sale or not.

I have chronic dry skin- so does everyone in my family. When I moved to California the dryness got even more intense, and by midday my skin was dry and rough as if I hadn’t even done my am skincare. I got hooked on SkinC’s Triple Lipid moisturizer- but the price tag is a little high for me (love the product, not a fan of the price).

This is a perfect substitute- works just as well and has even more “spreadability” in my opinion. It’s for PM but I use it AM and PM after applying La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast Balm. My skin stays soft and supple.

Obagi just earned themselves a life long fan. If you have dry skin- this moisturizer is a dream!.

For the last few years up until now I had use Skin Ceuticals Triple Lipid Restore cream at night during the winter months. I really liked it, but it was so much money to be spending that I thought I’d try a less expensive one that seemed similar.

I am SO glad I did! I like this one just as much, if not MORE, than the triple lipid. It has a great thick texture, yet absorbs good into the skin, leaving me feeling hydrated but not greasy. I wake up in the morning with smooth skin! This is my new go to night cream for something that is super moisturizing.

The product I’m reviewing is called Solaana MD healthy base layer. I was surprised that I can’t find it here. I received a sample size from my Allure subscription. I wish it were more. I love this cream.

It has a menthol smell and tingle to it. A little bit covered my whole face. This cream is infused with Vitamin D, coconut oil, and hyaluronic acid. It feels so refreshing and moisturizing. You could also put it in the refrigerator for an extra soothing de puffing cream.

For a full size it retails for $54. Honestly I wouldn’t pay that much. That’s just too high for my comfort zone. It does rank pretty high for one of my favorites though. If I can get it for a discount price, I would definitely purchase it again.

I was having trouble with acne because, as I discovered later, my skin was too dry. I got a professional facial and the esthetician used this moisturizer on me. She gave me a sample to take home and said not to use it more than a couple times a week.

I started using it daily and within about 5-7 days of consistent use, 90% of my acne was gone. I also changed my cleanser to something milder, which helped. I use. 01% Retin A every night and this moisturizer helps a lot with the dryness.

It’s not expensive either. It leaves your skin shiny but that doesn’t bother me. It’s better than acne at 51 any day. I am hooked and so is my partner.

I did not know what to expect with this moisturizer, but I’m going to be completely honest and say that when I first opened the jar, I was off putted by the way it look. It just looked scary and intense; similar to vaseline but not really.

I was nervous and skeptical but it feels SO amazing on the skin. It does leave or cause extra moisture or dew on your skin but it does say to dab it off, it’s really no big deal. In the dry desert, it’s honestly not a problem.

It makes my face feel cooler. Also, since the ingredients are just vaseline and paraffin, when I put this on my face at night, I make sure to get my lips as well. I also realized that this moisturizer does wonders on the feet (of course I use a spatula to avoid feet germs going on my face)! I can’t say enough great things about this moisturizer! It’s a big tub and a little goes a long way.

Highly reccomend!.

Normally, this product is superb and definitely works but the quality of the cream has been degraded and is very sloppy. The container it comes in is totally unsuitable if the grade of cream remains as it is and it should have a pump fitted as you can no longer use your fingers to remove the cream from the tub without it dripping everywhere.

Also, due to the substantial change in the quality the cream doesn’t seem to have the same affect on my skin. I would say it’s like the cream has been watered down to make it go further for the same money.

I would rather use a thicker cream and continue with the tub format but I will not renew with this supplier if the consistency remains the same.

I ordered the larger size (jar). It isn’t cream; it’s lotion in a jar. It stings when applied and actually seems to make chapped hands worse. I’ve used other urea cream before (from podiatrist), and it definitely healed badly chapped skin.

Maybe I got a bad batch of this “udderly smooth” stuff. Would return but too much bother.

This product is amazing! I’ve suffered from deeply cracked heels for decades and no amount of rasping, pumicing, peels or moisturizing could take care of the problem. After only three weeks of applying the salve to my feet twice a day, the cracks (even the deepest fissures) have almost completely healed.

I love Weleda’s Skin Food and have been using it for as long as I can remember. It is a very rich and emollient cream, so I was thrilled when they released a “light” version because I have combination skin that gets oily in the summer and the OG is very heavy for use all over my face.

This is a lighter, fast- absorbing version of the classic that still offers instant hydration for the face and body. This version is more “fluid-like” (see my picture to compare textures between the two versions) with a herbal blend of chamomile, calendula and pansy.

It does have natural fragrance and essential oils, so it may bother some with sensitive skin. The fragrance is also strong and it’s one that you either love or hate! This may not be the best option for acne prone skin either because it has lanolin and beeswax, but unlike the OG, it also has Shea and cocoa seed butters.

I would do a patch test first. This is still very nourishing despite the “light” name and is great for dry areas and as a moisturizer if you’re not acne prone or if you patch test.

I was gifted this product a couple of weeks ago for my honest review and this is absolutely a HOLY GRAIL skin food for dry skin sufferers. I suffer from dry skin all year round, in addition to psoriasis and have spent hundreds of dollars over the years trying to find skin care that delivers lasting moisturisation.

Wileda skin food is the first product that has DELIVERED! I was pleasantly surprised by the subtle fragrance of orange, lavender and vanilla that did not irritate my skin or eyes. I’ve been using this moisturizer for years back when they still had the metal tube packaging. I actually had stopped purchasing for a bit because I was never able to finish a full bottle without the metal packaging getting a rip or tear in it.

So I was so happy when I found out that they updated the packaging to a typical plastic bottle. Now I no longer have an issue with getting through a full bottle. I have extremely dry sensitive skin, so the fact that this is so thick hydrating is great for my skin.

If you don’t have really dry skin, I’m not sure if you’d love this. I love using this in the winter to really give my skin the hydration it desperately needs. I also do like wearing this underneath makeup, but oppose to applying it all over my face, I tend to apply it only in the specific areas that I’m most dry.

It gives a really nice glow to the skin. I’d also recommend warming this up between your fingers before applying, and then patting it into the areas that are most dry. At least that’s how I personally use it when applying makeup over top, and I have no issues with it.

It’s really one of my favorite drugstore moisturizers!.

I bought this after seeing people post about it on social media. My littlest has bad eczema on his legs which was dry & bleeding. It takes a bit of time to actually rub in but I tend to slather it on at night & then put his pjs on & leave it to soak in itself.

Within a few days his eczema had cleared up. I also use it on my face which gets sore from the cold weather & this soothes it instantly. The only downside is that it smells a bit like play-doh! It is expensive but I think it’s worth the money, especially if you can get it when the offers are on.

Yet another product that falls flat on it’s false promises, it’s supposed to alleviate skin complaints, not aggravate them. Smells terrible, absorbs too quickly if you apply to dry skin, considering it’s supposed to be a moisturiser it should moisturise effectively without having to add external moisture, seems to somewhat defeat the purpose.

I’d avoid this product and the Natural soothing MSM cream, unless you like forking out for worse skin complaints than you started with.

I don’t really leave reviews but I bought this on a whim along with their MooGoo milk wash. Love both of them. I’ve been using this cream on my face twice a day. I’ve noticed my skin stays moisturised and dewy.

I honestly love this and Will continue to purchase. Very pleased. Doesn’t feel greasy and has light neutral fragrance.

I was in the middle of writing an essay but I felt like I absolutely had to stop and leave this review because I keep catching glimpses of my face in my desk mirror and it’s making me really sad. I normally don’t like to leave negative reviews.

I also don’t think this product is bad as a whole. However, I bought this to use as a face moisturizer because I liked the rich version (dark green tube) so much for my body and this one claimed it was ok to use on face AND body! This feels really nice going on and is definitely very moisturizing, but after about a week of smooth sailing it started breaking me out.

It was only a little at first, so I assumed it was due to something else. Nope. The longer I used this, the bigger and more painful pimples got!!!!!!! I finally reasoned that this was the only recent change in my routine that I could think of, and I cut it out.

I feel like the breakouts are finally slowing, but I’m definitely not out of the weeds yet. I am so heartbroken because my skin was the best it had ever been in my life before I started using this. I’m sure this works just fine on the body, but please for the love of God do NOT listen to the claim that it’s ok to use on the face.

I had heard such good reviews about this moisturiser and since my Cerave was running out I decided to give this one a try. Even though it’s light, it’s still quite a heavy cream. For some reason it irritated my skin a lot.

I do have sensitive skin but this product was marketed as sensitive skin friendly. My face stung from it. I had heard such good reviews about it so I was quite sad, but unfortunately my skin was too sensitive it seems.

It has a fragrance, and I googled it and it said the fragrances were all natural. Maybe the fragrance is what irritated my skin. I’m sure this product works for many, just not for my sensitive skin.

Actually, this product is very good. I use it on my face at night over a deeply cleansed face, some hyaluronic serum, then the Derma E thin layer. I’ve just started using Derma E about 10 days ago. Well.

In the morning I see a big difference in the feel of my skin, the pleasant plump, and the easier on the eyes wrinkles. (You older gals know what I mean). THE RESULTS ARE THERE! I like what I am seeing thus far.

As far as the smell?? I mean, come on! Look at all the natural ingredients in this product. I’m glad that Derma E formulates products for the conscientious consumer. The smell you say? Get over it!.

I was introduced to this cream when I accidentally got a very bad sunburn, borderline sun poisoning on my upper back while at the beach on vacation. I stole it from my cousin’s dobkit in a panic as I tried anything in the bathroom to help.

It was the only thing that calmed it down until I could address it with medication, and it did so nearly immediately. My cousin meanwhile used it for at the time for very acne prone skin. It impressed me enough to remember it and buy it for myself which I have again and again.

I get occasional, though relatively rare painful dermatitis flare ups behind my ears and this helps there as well. I also use it for occasional acne spots or irritation, bug bites or remnants of poison ivy patches.

Basically anything “red”: irritated, itchy, inflamed and or dry this works as a quick remedy or part of an arsenal for treatment in addition to just being a decent moisturizer. Yes tea tree oil is an acquired smell, I’m not particularly fond of the scent and it can be strong, a very herbal camphor, but it’s not the worst and this is the best vehicle for it that I’ve found.

The texture is amazing, relatively dense and creamy (the vitamin-e?) and because of that, plus the tea tree oil, means a little goes a long way so this cream lasts me a long time. I’ve been using it occasionally in a thin layer as part of my evening skincare as a regular cream moisturizer and it does a great job.

Since having to wear a mask every time I leave the house I have been having some irritation around my nose and mouth area. I decided to give this a try before making an appointment to see a dermatologist.

I have only been using it for a few weeks so this is a first impression. The cream has a thick consistency but it does absorb into my skin easily. The tee tree smell is definitely there so I only apply it at night right before going to bed.

Because of where I am applying the cream the fragrance seems to linger. It does not make it impossible to fall asleep but I can smell it until I fall asleep. I have applied it to my arm just to test the fragrance to see if I would be able to smell it and the fragrance does not seem to be as strong.

I have found that it does help with the irritation so I will continue to use it.

I bought this cream for my mum on the recommendation of a fellow chemotherapy patient. Its amazing! Light, non greasy and easy to apply. Its easily absorbed and doesnt leave any residue. I also tried it as I suffer from very dry and cracked hands.

Ive tried dozens of different creams and lotions over the years, but this is by far the best. Its taken the redness and swelling away immediately, its truly amazing stuff!.

I love the packaging of these moisturizers just beautiful. I tried them all and didn’t like them. They are very very liquidly and I felt them to be greasy. I didn’t feel like my hands were moisturized at all.

They just felt sticky. The scents of all 3 are light and amazing which I did love. Overall I would not purchase. Udderly Smooth Hydrating Hand Cream Variety Pack (1 of each scent), 2 oz. Travel Size Lotion – 3 Pack.

Udderly Smooth is one of my favorite hand creams ever. It leaves my hands feeling very soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. It absorbs very well. The price is under $2 for a 2 oz travel size tube! For that price you can keep one everywhere from your car, or purse to you backpack or diaper bag.

I highly recommend Udderly Smooth hand cream.

I honestly really dislike this moisturizer. I like the thick consistency the product has, but it’s SO heavy and greasy on the skin. It leaves your skin feeling so gross and not at all refreshed. Maybe it would be great for very dry skin but it’s a huge pass for me.

The only reason I’m leaving two stars instead of one is because I enjoy the consistency of the product. Will never buy again. Edit: I realize now that this IS in fact meant for dry skin, so I let my fiance try it because his skin is very dry, and he had the same gross feeling on his skin and agreed that it was heavy and unpleasant.

This is amazing!!! I have normal to dry skin and this really moisturizers and hydrates. It’s a staple and I’ll always continue to use this. Keeps my face soft and smooth when I pair it with the cleanser.

This is another Mary Kay product that I use on a daily basis. Yes this product does meet my expectations in every way. It’s very effective and they always can improve Mary Kay always evolves her products to a next and higher level.

If you are familiar with CeraVe you will LOVE this EltaMD product. True to its name it is very moisture rich and has a lovely texture that melts into your skin. The scent is scant (if you’re familiar with Dove white soap that soap has more of a smell) if noticeable at all and it is definitely for those with super dry or sensitive skin.

My dermatologist was quite intrigued when I showed it to her. As it is not as widely available as CeraVe this may not be a brand everyone knows but once you’ll try it you may never look back. My one complaint is the tube format.

Tubes always mean some waste (think toothpaste). Hopefully EltaMD will consider a larger format like a tub.

You can trust the “MD” in this body crème. Not only does it make my skin feel soft and supple; it also has improved the texture of my skin, with daily use. Skin thins as we age, but EtnaMD’s formula strengthens your skin.

With good science. This is more than a mere moisturizer. I will use it for the rest of my life.

I love this stuff! My skin had gone really dry with patches of keratosis pilaris. After spending way too much money on various moisturizers from the drugstore, I added this to my last order figuring I’d try one last product.

I love EltaMD’s face moisturizers, foaming face wash and sun block so I figured this might be fairly decent. Within three days my skin was feeling much softer. Two weeks later all the patches of dry skin and keratosis pilaris were gone.

It goes on smooth and isn’t greasy or sticky. Highly recommend.

I first bought this SOS Intense moisturising cream in Oct 2021 to try out as I ran out of my Clinique moisturiser, which was a bit too light, so I was looking for a “heavier” moisturiser as I sleep with air conditioning on throughout the night.

I first thought it was slightly thick and intense but as I started using it more and more (only before I sleep), I realised it always gives me a beautiful glow the next morning. It’s like my skin was so nourished by all the ingredients inside this SOS intense cream.

Smells fresh, rich texture – my skin feels taken care of when I sleep. I don’t use it in the morning as it’s a bit too thick before makeup, and I have a lighter moisturiser to use for AM. Night use is the best for this moisturiser as it yields the best results, in my opinion.

I bought 2 jars in the ongoing 25% Sephora sale. It’s so good, please try it out as your overnight moisturiser!.

I have mature skin, normal to dry. This is the first time trying this brand after hearing rave reviews about it. I think it works better on normal skin. The moisturizer went smoothly and felt good on the skin.

I used it along with toner, serum and other skin care products. After 8 hours, my skin still look acceptable, not completely dried up. I will try another product from Caudeline to see if I have better results.

So far, it did not make a big impression and I have used 1/2 of the container already. I used it twice a day.

I love Caudalie products but unfortunately this one wasn’t it. Every time I put it on my skin I felt a burning sensation and although you (luckily) couldn’t see any physical burns, I am sure it did some non surface-level damage.

Perhaps the formula needs to move away from adding fragrance for aesthetic reasons and adding fruit extracts that don’t benefit the skin and add actual moisturising ingredients. My skin didn’t feel any extra benefit apart from sitting on top of my face.

I would steer clear! I don’t have sensitive skin and am fine with other Caudalie products from the other ranges.

I hadn’t heard of the Embryolisse brand before receiving a tube of the Lait-Crème Sensitive to trial. This moisturising cream, which is made in France, is packaged in a white metal tube with a large screw on cap.

The tube holds 100ml of product. The white, silky smooth cream has a medium consistency. The first thing I noticed when I applied the cream to my face was the smell – maybe woody or earthy but just awful – although the description of the product states that it is fragrance free.

However, although the smell is a little off-putting, I’ve carried on using it because the smell doesn’t linger for long. This is a multi-purpose product which works as a nourishing and moisturising lotion, as a makeup primer, as a face mask, as a cleansing milk and as an aftershave cream.

It can also be safely used on children and babies for dry areas on the face and body. Only a small amount of the Lait-Crème is needed because it spreads so easily over my skin and it absorbs really well.

The cream doesn’t feel greasy, oily or sticky on my skin but it leaves too much of a shine for my liking, however it’s fine on its own for the days I know I’m definitely staying at home. The cream is very comfortable to wear and is quite soothing on sensitive skin.

I have combination to dry skin whereas hubby has very sensitive skin so I’ve encouraged him to use this cream as a moisturiser. This cream has calmed his skin so he’s been using the Laite-Crème as a night cream because he too doesn’t like the shiny look for day use.

I tried the Lait-Crème under two different light to medium cover foundations to see how effective it is as a primer. Both foundations applied very smoothly and toned down the shine producing a lovely finish with a nice glow.

As a primer it works well for me. As a mask, I suppose the only difference is the time frame and amount of product used because the Lait-Crème still leaves my skin feeling really plumped, soft and smooth whether I use the cream as a moisturiser or whether I apply a thicker layer as a 15 minute hydration boost.

As a cleanser, it feels very soothing and wipes away makeup effectively although I didn’t use it on my eyes. I can’t really see the point in using it as a cleanser because it seems like a waste of product to me.

In summary, the Embroyolisse Lait-Crème Sensitive is a very nourishing and hydrating cream which is comfortable to wear and is soothing on sensitive and reactive skin. This is such a good multi-purpose product and I particularly like how effective it is as a makeup primer.

The packaging looks very sleek and simple. This cream comes in a metal tube with a screw top lid, so the tube can stand up, on the lid. The tube is white with black writing, and has a nice swirl of grey and blue to give it a small pop of colour.

The Embryolisse cream is multi-functional, so can be used as a moisturiser, hydrating mask, creamy face wash or a make-up primer. This is recommended for sensitive skin, as well as babies, and is described as fragrance free.

The first time I used this, I used it as a moisturiser, after cleansing my skin. I found it to be hydrating, and absorbed well into my skin. It might have been slightly too hydrating, as towards the end of the day my skin felt oily and was very shiny.

I also found it to have a scent. It was slightly overbearing, and smelt of cream that hadn’t been used in a while, or was close to expiration. After having the tube opened for a few weeks, the scent seemed to go away, so not really sure what happened.

The second time I used it as a make-up primer. The foundation applied amazingly over the top of the cream, and it didn’t go tacky. As it became oily when used as a moisturiser, it did the same as a primer, and made the foundation look very shiny and slightly ‘caked on’ by the end of the day.

Lastly I used it as a face mask. I applied a thick layer of the cream, and this being for sensitive skin, I could apply it slightly closer to the eyes and mouth, than I would a normal mask. I left it on for about 15 minutes before removing.

I did this before bed so my skin could absorb it for longer, and I also didn’t have to worry about my face looking oily. My skin was super soft and well hydrated, but by the next morning my nose was super oily, so I’m glad I used this before bed.

As this is also suited for babies, I decided to try it on my daughters teething rash. It worked quite well to reduce the redness and keep it moisturised. I only ever use sensitive skin products on her, just in case, so will definately be using this on her again.

Been using this product for many years and can honestly say I have yet to find anything better. Its not heavy and your skin looks healthy all day long. Highly recommended for dry skin

I have been using this for over 25 years and absolutely love it! I use it under my makeup and at nighttime before bed. It keeps my skin hydrated and feeling fresh.
