I had a severe allergic reaction to the skinuva scar treatment after only 1 use. I used it on my tiny chin scar after the incision has healed & scabs are gone. I first used it 2 months post healed incision.

I developed rashes, severe itching, swelling of my face & neck 4 hours after application. I went to the urgent care because i started having throat dryness & i was afraid that my trachea may swell up.

I was given a dexamethasone injection, prescribed meds to go home to- zyrtec, pepcid & prednisone tablets. I do not know what was the component of this scar treatment that gave me a severe allergic reaction.

This scar cream really works. Just a little goes a long way, and there’s more in the cannisters than you think there is. I had dark, raised surgery scars on both my chest and abdomen, but after 9 months of dedicated use (morning and night application) my scars have faded so significantly, that they barely look like surgery scars at all now.

They are just faint pink lines that are continuing to fade. So happy with this product. Definitely worth the price.

Murads InvisiScar Resurfacing Treatment is a lightweight lotion/serum that is made to treat scarring from acne. It treats ice pick or pitted scars as well as any discoloration as well. As a teen I did suffer from cystic acne and was also diagnosed with rosacea.

However, I did get both under control rather quickly I’ve never had bad acne to the point that I ended up with pitted scars, but I did have some reddish discoloration on my chin area or PIE (Post Inflammatory Erthemya).

This formula has BHA (Salicylic acid) which is an exfoiilant and also used to treat acne, as well as a Vitamin C which brightens and lightens scars, promotes collagen production. As well as Centella Asiatica aka Tiger grass which is known to encourage new skin growth and is one of the best ingredients to treat redness.

All these ingredients put together not only completely faded the red discoloration on my chin area but also made my skin tone more even and radiant. This is a great serum to use even if you don’t have scars.

Lightly exfoliates to get rid of dead skin cells plus brightens the skin and gets rid of discoloration. All around my skin looks healthier, younger , and brighter :).

I’ve been using this product for 2/3 weeks daily before I go to bed. I was left with really deep pitted scaring all over my cheeks after experiencing nodular cystic acne. The pitted scars now do not appear as deep and in fact look like they’re closing up.

It’s certainly minimised the appearance of how deep and wide they were previously and I’m hoping with continued use they will completely close. The texture of the product itself is so silky and leaves the skin feeling very smooth.

It’s worked wonders for my self esteem too! Please note I’m also using this in conjunction with a azealic acid nightly to also reduce dark pigmentation from scarring and prevent any new acne from occurring.

Working well on my long scars after arm lift surgery. I like it.

This product didn’t work for me. I used it alternating it with the scaraway gel sheets for two months. My scar never lightened or changed. I found it really hard to get product out, it never seemed to really coat the roller ball.

Finally I couldn’t get any out and I cut open the tube and lo and behold it was still super full. I found the product would never dry, no matter how thin I made it. It unfortunately was just a waste of money for me.

I have since found that Scaraway Silicon Spray works better for me.

I used New Gel with E on a surgery wound morning and night. It softened the scar and made the scar lighter in color. There was a dip in an old scar. After applying the New Gel twice a day it appears the dip leveled off.

Love this Silicone Gel! I used it for a scar on my leg and now its barely visible. This is a product we would recommend to patients after having cosmetic surgery to minimize the appearance of their scar and I have seen this stuff work wonders.

I would recommend this over bio oil.

Its definitely has helped an old deep scar I’ve had for over a year now. I highly recommend New Gel, I also lightly scrub the scar with a paste of water and baking soda occasionally. The scar has got flatter and smoother with out a doubt.

I should of used the New Gel right after the injury happened because I know it would of made the healing almost unnoticed.

I have been using this for 3 weeks now and i can honestly say, i started seeing results the 2nd day i used it. This product has shrunk my scars within 3 weeks. I’m going to continue using it for about another month just to see if the scar will totally shrink to flat.

Was given this product a while ago. It did nothing. I have extensive scaring from acne and injuries but this product did nothing to improve the appearance of any type of scarring I have. Not satisfied at all but glad I didn’t spend money on it.

Maybe it’s just too thick but my scar did not like thus stuff. I have a whopper that goes down my entire forehead and this stuff made my skin get inflamed. I don’t remember the price but I remember my plastic surgeon telling me to stop using it immediately.

It has been a while since I used Proactiv, so I was really curious to check out their new product in this voxbox. I haven’t used it a very long time, but definitely plan on giving a follow-up review.

So far, I like that the product goes on and actually seems to penetrate my skin. It makes me feel like it ACTUALLY might work. There is no sticky residue or anything in a minute or so. The smell isn’t wonderful, but that goes away pretty quickly too.

I follow up with my moisturizer and SPF. I like how soft it made my skin feel. I deal with texture issues and scarring so it was nice to touch my face and actually feel a difference. It is also a small size, which is perfect for throwing in a purse or travel bag.

You don’t need a lot of product, especially since you only apply it to trouble areas. I will follow-up with a review on my scarring in a few weeks.

I have been using this for a few weeks and am surprised to see that some of my scarring has definitely faded! Glad I was able to give this a try. I prefer to use it at night or when I’m not wearing makeup bc the texture is a little to thick to wear under foundation and can tend to collect.

I’m very familiar with the brand proactiv as I’ve been a long time user of it since my teenage years. This product is a great concept and I’ve been using it for around 3 weeks on my recent acne scars and hyperpigmentation.

I’ve only noticed a small improvement this far, but I also haven’t been using it consistently. The scent is something I don’t think I can get past. It’s just not very pleasant, I think if the scent is improved i would be way more enthused to use this product.

Dr. Zenovia Scar Gel Treatment is like a miracle in a box! I have been using this scar treatment gel for about 10 days now and can already see results though the directions say to expect it to take several weeks to really take effect with recent scars and up to 6mths or so for older ones.

I like how thick and nourishing this gel is. It goes on smooth and not greasy and blends in super fast. This product is in gel form and includes use of a medical grade silicone gel, bromelian, and papain with none of the bad formaldahydes or icky stuff you really shouldnt use on skin which is a huge plus! I never pop or pick at the spots anymore, so I guess my genes just love me. I was so thrilled to be selected to trial this treatment since I have several new pink marks, as well as older, more established scars around my face.

I used the treatment twice daily—I apply a thin layer to the affected areas after cleansing, toning, serums, etc. The treatment is similar in texture to an ointment, but thinner I suppose, because it doesn’t just sit on the skin.

It does take a little bit to melt into the skin, however. Over the course of the 10 days, a couple of my older scars look a bit lighter, but the newer pink ones—several are completely gone and one more on my nose has almost completely faded! I am beyond impressed with this scar treatment.

I’ve added vitamin C serum into my regular routine for the past 10 months or so. This is my 4th vitamin C serum that I’ve tried. I do love the brightening effect and am a fan of the formula! However, I did noticed that the vitamin C serum was a higher concentration than of other serums and it stung a bit when i first started using it every day.

I had to slowly get my skin used it to, starting every other day and eventually using it every day. Despite the fact that my skin was already used to vitamin C. I’d recommend slowing integrating this to your routine, especially if you’re never had a vitamin C serum in your skincare routine!.

Nice product, is working on my son’s bad acne he has had since 6th grade. Wish Keeva could make this product last for two months for the price. Is quite expensive. If you could make the jar 3 ounces (or what ever ounces to make it last for 2 month’s) for $30.

Great product only had it like two weeks already seeing big changes.

Before splashing out on the 1oz size, I opted to try out the 0. 5oz (15ml) bottle. Due to its high silicone content, I tried, but wasn’t able to use this twice daily as instructed. However when applying it on alternate days, I found my skin could tolerate it, and I did notice a slight blemish reduction (perhaps 50%) which were from a previous acne breakout on my chin.

I used only the smallest amount of the concentrate, perhaps less than half a drop, on my chin and neck area, followed by a tiny dab of their Gel-Crème as instructed by the SA at the La Mer counter, to seal in the benefits.

The results were good, but not much different to other brightening or regenerating serums I’ve used in the past – often at a fraction of the price. The soft skin sensation only lasted for as long as the product was on my skin, and was purely down to the ‘slip-feel’ produced by the silicones.

Today I would like to share my experience of incorporating the La Mer The Concentrate Serum into my skincare routine. Believe it or not, this is truly a lifesaver whenever my skin is at its most difficult time.

The key ingredients of this luxurious serum include Concentrated Miracle Broth and Lime Tea Formulated Without Parabens, and it mainly aims at natural renewal and strengthening the skin barrier. I’ve used creme de la Mer before but this felt different…this is instantly absorbed and you are just left with a velvety feeling. At first I thought it was like an oil and would leave a residue but the serum instantly dissipates.

i have been using this gel for about 4 months now and i would have to say it has increasingly raised my confidence. i apply it on my acne scars after showers and i notice less blemish overnight. the only downfall is it can become pretty itchy on the scars after application but it goes away after about 20 minutes.

it’s just apart of the healing process. this product has a great price and i will definitely be buying again.

this type of scar treatment doesn’t always work for everyone. I personally didn’t notice a huge difference. it works really well for other ppl, though. this scar gel gives you the chance to try out this type of formula (onion bulb extract & allantoin) for $11 cheaper than mederma.

it kiiiiinda works. Been using for well over a week in the morning after a shower getting ready and in the night before bed and it’s gotten my acne scars to lighten up a tad. Maybe needs more time, but for the price, you can’t beat it.

I can’t compare to other brands cause this is the first one I’ve tried.

I was excited and hopeful to try Differin Resurfacing Acne Scar Gel. as an adult who has struggled with acne of varying degrees of severity for my entire life, I have my fair share of mild scarring. And I am happy to report that Differin is making a difference, but patience is definitely required.

After using it on my face and back, I feel like my scarring is fading compared to places I haven’t been applying it (for reference). Obviously I’ve given up ever getting rid of acne altogether, it is relatively mild, in this my fourth decade of life, and I can say that the Differin definitely isn’t causing breakouts.

It isn’t irritating on the skin, doesn’t have an odor, moisturizes, and absorbs well. For me, this alone is half the battle for better, clearer skin. I apply twice a day, morning and evening, and fortunately it doesn’t stain my clothing or pajamas, so it doesn’t slow down my routine.

It spreads easily, so it has lasted me quite a long time (longer than the size of the container suggests. ) This product requires diligent use, and a marathon mindset. it isn’t a magic, and you won’t see improvement overnight.

But results do come. Slowly, which can be hard, and frustrating. But I didn’t get my scars overnight, so apart from surgery, I don’t expect them to depart any quicker. I like how the Differin makes my skin feel, and I like how it’s fading acne scars that I’ve grown very tired of seeing.

I absolutely love this! Better than some of the high end products I have tried without success. Hormones have wrecked havoc on my skin causing acne, blackheads and texture. Also have mild redness in my cheeks.

This has completely been a game changer. Not only did it help my scars but it’s made the texture go away and pores have gotten smaller! Hormones had made them huge and not they’re not as bad anymore.

Also, I have been using this in the morning in place of my moisturizer and my makeup goes over it beautifully. This is a win win! Definitely a staple in my rotation.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks, twice a day. I feel like my old, already white scar has become less noticeable. I had a small new, still red scar as well, and that one is definitely less visible.

The texture is very watery, feels slightly oily too. I didn’t really like the packaging it was in, so I put it in a travel bottle. That’s easier to use I think.

I’ve been using this for a month now. First, the packaging was difficult to open. It came with a flat top cap, wrapped in a “pliable” metal, which was difficult to remove. You replace it with a triangular, dropper-like cap, that is easier to use and helps limit applications by the drop, which is nice.

I bought this for bug bite scars, which seem to be working fairly well. It recommends twice a day usage, but sometimes I only do once a day. I’ve been tracking two specific scars to monitor it’s effectiveness.

The bug bite on my forearm is nearly gone; however, the ones on my legs are a tad more stubborn. I also tried, and am still applying, this on older scars, but haven’t noticed a difference. The bottle says it’s tea tree oil, but I wonder what percentage of the solution is actually tea tree, because this has no smell to it, yet tea tree has a distinct smell.

This is more like an oil and I’m not sure if my skin likes it. don’t really see much effects? It doesn’t break me out, but I gradually stopped using it altogether because I don’t want to put something on my skin that doesn’t improve it.

At first I used just this to see if there are results, and then I mixed it into my creams or other oils. Both not much difference to be honest. But at this price, I guess it’s worth a try to see if it works for you.
