20 Best Cream For Scars After Surgery (2023 Updated)

Ok. So I had two really bad scars from my belly button piercing that I took out many years ago. I’m 2017 I got scar removal surgery and it did nothing basically besides make my it a tiny bit less noticeable.

Last year I spent over $1,000 on fraxel laser to remove it. once again this helped the appearance slightly. However my scars were still dark and noticeable. I tried every scar removal gel and even one from a surgeons office, but nothing really helped.

I finally decided to purchase this not thinking it would do anything. Iv only been using this gel for maybe 2/3 weeks so far and MY SCARS ARE THE SAME COLOR AS MY SKIN. I have no idea what is in this product but the results are crazy.

Not only are my scars lighter but the skin looks smooth and barely noticeable now.

ScarGuard MD has been very helpful in protecting scars my husband has from surgery. It is a good product recommended by his surgeon and we have reordered it as the process continues. It is easy to use.

One brushes it on, gives it a couple minutes to dry and then can dress as usual. It will abrade after some hours and come off but that is to be expected. This product has been very helpful. Scars do not magically disappear but they are protected and that has helped tremendously.

The scars have faded and continue to do so.

So this product does seem to lessen the appearance of scars. It does not make they go away, but be less noticeable. The price really could be better. Also, this product takes a long time to really work.

Which made me wonder, did my scar fade on its own or did this product fade it.

this products does soften the scar but if the scar is really old I’m not too sure if this is for you. I stopped using this because i felt that it does not work for the types of scars i have (keloids).

I’ve tried out this product and honestly did not apply religiously. Perhaps if I stuck with it from the beginning I would have seen better results.

Ive been using this on the operating scars from my knee surgery in June. After only one use my scars didn’t feel dry and itchy anymore. I have to use it for a couple months to see how it actually affects my scars but so far I’m impressed.

works pretty well. doesn’t really help scars that have been there for over a month. helps seal newer scars well. however, I haven’t been using it long enough to see significant difference.

I really loved this item. It was extremely soft and silky on my skin. I’m not sure I saw much of a difference with the change in the appearance of my scar, but my skin way definitely more hydrated and softer.

I was a little surprised when it came and it was so small, but you really just need a drop of it and it will go a long way. It lasted me quite longer than I expected. The only thing I found a bit frustrating was how small the cap was.

I found it difficult to put on securely from time to time, but that was so minor. Overall, I really enjoyed using this product.

This product is great for dry and skin that needs a little healing from acne scars. It does not feel too heavy on the face. Although it has a mild smell, it does not last long. Wonderful product for sensitive skin and to use any time and as much as you want during the day.

I recently got a scar from a cut on my shin while playing football, I have very light skin and the scar was always visible and red even a year later! This stuff works amazingly well. I had major surgery, resulting in an 8 inch scar that had healed by about 5 weeks after surgery ( no open skin!) The scar was raised between 1/4 to 1/2 inch in height, and about 1/2 inch in width and ached.
